[Setting: The cozy and festive
office of Santa Claus at the North Pole. Santa is seated at his desk, talking
on the phone. Mrs. Claus stands next to him by a whiteboard with names
scribbled on it. The camera enters mid-conversation.]
Santa Claus (on the phone): I wouldn't be calling you if I didn't think this wasn't
important. Scrooge is up to no good, and I need you and your team's help. There
is an influx of darkness coming, and only together can we withstand it and
repel it.
[A pause as Santa listens intently.]
Santa Claus: I'm glad to hear we can count on you. See you in a couple
of weeks, then.
[Santa hangs up the phone, and Mrs.
Claus goes to the whiteboard to scribble a name on it. The camera does not
catch the new name, but it does catch two names with check marks:
"Peter" and "Squirrels." Suddenly, the office door opens,
and a man wearing green woodsman clothes enters with great bravado. He smiles
at Santa and waves his hands in grand gestures.]
Robin Hood: I hear you are in need of some good people against a
billionaire tyrant?
Santa Claus (smiling): Hello, Robin. I was wondering how long it would take for
you and the Merry Band to show up.
Robin Hood (laughing boisterously): Well, where there is money to be had to take from the rich
and give to the less fortunate, I will be around.
[Robin Hood sits at the desk, and
Santa smiles.]
Santa Claus: Very well, Robin. I can use all the help we can get. Let me
tell you what is happening...
[The scene ends with the two talking
and planning while Mrs. Claus writes "ROBIN HOOD AND THE MERRY BAND"
on the whiteboard with a check mark.]
