Polar Meltdown Rundown Preview - June 19, 2025

KC Rogers and her special guests run down the stacked Polar Meltdown card and give their picks for each match!
Find out who they believe will walk away as the night’s biggest winners—or crawl away broken in the snow.
Surprises, betrayals, and bold predictions await as NPCW’s hottest show of the season gets the spotlight!

[VISUAL: Fade in from icy, cinematic graphics of the POLAR MELTDOWN logo to a wide shot of the Preview Desk. Snow flurries fall gently over the graphic package as dramatic music swells. Cut to the brightly lit studio. NPCW branding everywhere. The desk is lit in frosty blue hues with the "POLAR MELTDOWN" logo glowing in front. KC ROGERS is front and center.]

KC ROGERS:
(Beaming into the camera with confidence, arms wide open)
"Good evening, NPCW Universe—and welcome to the official POLAR MELTDOWN PREVIEW SHOW! I’m your host, KC Rogers, and this is the place to be as we get you locked in and loaded for the coolest, coldest, and most combustible event of the NPCW calendar!"

(She smiles broadly, sweeping her hand to the sides)
"Joining me as always—on my right, he’s the master of mic drops and the king of hot takes, the Expert of Elocution, Eddie Ellington!"

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Flashing a smug grin, leaning back with his sunglasses on)
"KC, the snow may be falling outside, but the meltdown is happening right here, tonight. Get ready to call the fire department, sweetheart—because I’ve got nothing but scorched earth picks."

KC ROGERS:
(With a playful side-eye)
"And to my left… the man who pulls no punches, sees all the flaws, and has the tape receipts to prove it—the brutal brain behind the numbers, the masked maven of mayhem—Dave ‘The Brute’ Kent!"

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Deadpan, arms crossed, voice gravelly and direct)
"KC, this card’s a powder keg. Some of these superstars are skating on very thin ice. I’ve seen the data, I’ve watched the footage… and I’ve got bad news for a lot of the guys."

(Leaning in slightly, with emphasis)
"And let’s not forget—this is Commissioner Cratchit’s second Supercard, but it’s the first one he’s had the time to build from the ground up. And for Ms. Sweetins, this is her debut running the book. There’s a lot riding on this event. If the Cratchit and Sweetins Era is going to work, this is their first real test—and the whole wrestling world is watching."

KC ROGERS:
(Nods, serious for a moment)
"Absolutely, Brute. This isn’t just a card—it’s a statement. And just like the ring, the pressure cooker is on full blast backstage too."

(Snapping back into high energy)
"And just to make things even more interesting, we reached out to four of NPCW’s other top voices for their official POLAR MELTDOWN picks—Johnny ‘The Mic’ Michaels, Smooth Samantha, Louie Linville, and Slick Ricky Vega—and trust me, you’ll want to hear where they stand."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Scoffs)
"If Smooth Samantha picks another ‘courageous underdog’ I’m walking off the set."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Without looking at Eddie)
"I hope she does. It’s a better show without the delusions."

KC ROGERS:
(Laughing)
"Alright, alright, calm the cold war, gentlemen! We’ve got huge matches, high stakes, and more grudges than Santa’s got naughty names. So let’s not waste another second—"

(She slaps a stack of match notes on the desk)
"Let’s dive into the action, and break down Match One of the night—right after this quick look back at what’s led us to this freezing point at POLAR MELTDOWN!"

[MATCH 1: FIRST BLOOD MATCH]

Sandman vs. Jolly Green
“The monster awakens… and the giant bleeds.”

[VISUAL: RETURN FROM HYPE PACKAGE]
Slow-mo clips of Sandman creeping through smoke, striking Jolly Green with a steel chain. Jolly Green bleeding from a busted lip at a house show. Paul Bunyan chasing off Sandman and The Black Knight. Cut to a quiet period. Fade back in to Sandman staring into the camera with dead eyes.
Overlay: MATCH 1 – FIRST BLOOD MATCH

KC ROGERS:
(Turning to camera, serious tone with a hint of concern)
"We start things off with a match that’s been boiling beneath the surface for months… but has come to a head in a brutal way. The unhinged and relentless Sandman takes on the towering titan Jolly Green in a First Blood Match—where the only way to win… is to make your opponent bleed."

(Turning slightly toward Dave)
"This one started all the way back in March, when Sandman burst onto the NPCW scene and made a target out of Jolly Green. Interference after interference, match after match—Sandman got inside Jolly’s head early and just wouldn’t let go."

DAVE “THE BRUTE” KENT:
(Sighs, arms folded, unimpressed)
"Yeah, that was the story… for about six weeks. But let’s be honest here, KC—this feud got cold faster than a popsicle in a blizzard. After May, it vanished off the radar. No TV. No heat. They tried to revive it, but by then? Momentum was dead."

(Points at the camera)
"And yet it ends up with a First Blood Match on the Supercard? Come on. This should be buried mid-show on a house loop in Moosejaw. Not opening Polar Meltdown. Sandman’s been the only interesting part of this snoozefest. He’s creepy, unpredictable, actually has a presence."

(Turns to KC)
"Jolly Green? Sorry. He’s a novelty act. Big guy. Colorful outfit. Midcarder at best. This spot should’ve gone to someone with fire, not frostbite."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Nods smugly, brushing off his shirt)
"I hate to say it… no, wait—I love to say it—Brute’s right. Sandman’s a breakout. Jolly Green’s a lumbering Green Giant knockoff trying to fight horror villains with farmer’s market energy. You don’t beat Sandman with kale and kindness."

KC ROGERS:
(Cutting in, trying to stabilize tone)
"Okay, okay—look, I get where you two are coming from. This feud’s momentum did stall. But let’s not ignore the early impact it had. The attacks were personal. Sandman tried to ruin Jolly’s legacy, and when Jolly fought back, he didn’t do it alone—he brought in Paul Bunyan, and they gave us some pretty memorable tag matches on the road."

(Beat)
"And say what you want, a First Blood Match ups the stakes. It’s visceral. It’s violent. And it’s the perfect setting to end this grudge."

KC ROGERS:
(Lifts card, glancing down)
"Let’s get to the picks—starting right here at the desk. I’m going with Sandman. He’s twisted, he’s focused, and he’s going to do whatever it takes to make Jolly bleed first."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
"Sandman. Easy. Jolly’s heart isn’t in it anymore. Sandman ends this fast, and maybe finally moves on to someone worth fighting."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
"Three for three. Sandman. Now give him someone like Krampus or Mordred next, and let’s see what the maniac really does."

KC ROGERS:
(Smiling as she shuffles cards)
"And off-camera, our picks break like this—Johnny ‘The Mic’ Michaels goes with Sandman, Samantha is backing Jolly Green, Louie Linville—also Jolly Green, and Slick Ricky Vega? He’s on Team Sandman."

KC ROGERS:
(Tallying up on fingers)
"So that’s five to two in favor of Sandman. The darkness may be rising—but you can never count out the heart of a giant. Either way, someone’s bleeding, and we’ll find out who when the bell rings."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
"Let’s just hope it’s over fast so we can get to the real matches."

DAVE “THE BRUTE” KENT:
"First blood… should be the last word on this feud."

[MATCH 2: VAN HELSING & MYSTERY PARTNER vs. MONSTER’S BASH (Kong & Ogre)]

"The Hunter Returns… But Who’s Watching His Back?"

[VISUAL: CUT BACK TO THE DESK from a cinematic teaser]
Clips flash across the screen—Van Helsing loading silver bullets, Kong roaring into the lens, Ogre slamming Hansel into a ring post. Ominous shadows creep over the NPCW logo. A bloody glove falls to the ground. A silhouette of Van Helsing stands alone beneath a flickering spotlight.
Overlay: MATCH 2 – VAN HELSING & MYSTERY PARTNER vs. KONG & OGRE

KC ROGERS:
(Voice calm but intense, leaning into the desk)
"Now this next match… is personal. Van Helsing, the relentless monster hunter who stood beside Santa Claus and Rudolph through the darkest hours of Madness, now finds himself alone—and in the crosshairs of the Monster’s Bash."

(Clips of Hansel being stretchered out flash briefly)
"His loyal tag team partner Hansel was injuredtaken out—by Kong and Ogre in a brutal showdown that shocked fans across the polar provinces. And now, at Polar Meltdown, Van Helsing steps back into the fight with a mystery partner… or maybe, no partner at all."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Leans forward, dramatic pause, sunglasses gleaming)
"Let me stop you right there, KC. I don’t care if he shows up with Blitzen, Donner, the Easter Bunny, or Santa Claus’ left boot—this is suicide."

(Throws his hands up)
"Van Helsing is a brooding, broody, brooder who thinks moody monologues and silver stakes are enough to fight actual monsters. He’s going to step in there with Kong, who’s basically a walking glacier with fists, and Ogre, who looks like he bench-presses grizzly bears. And we’re supposed to believe some mystery tag partner is going to turn the tide?"

KC ROGERS:
(Defensive but intrigued)
"I don’t know, Eddie. Look, yes, he’s taking a risk, but Van Helsing’s never backed down from a fight. And there’s plenty of buzz backstage—maybe Blitzen? Donner? Even Comet or Prancer—guys who’ve fought shoulder-to-shoulder with him before. He’s got allies. He’s got heart."

DAVE “THE BRUTE” KENT:
(Tapping the desk lightly)
"Sure. But chemistry matters. Whoever it is—it’s not Hansel, and they haven’t trained together. That’s a problem. You’re going up against a team that’s been on a warpath—Kong and Ogre are synced, savage, and stinking of victory."

(Glances off-camera)
"I’ll tell you a name that hasn’t been mentioned yet: Sinbad. That’s one wildcard I might get behind. He’s unpredictable. He’s tough. He’s been in some wars. But even then—he’s walking into a two-headed wrecking crew without rhythm."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Grinning, snarky)
"Exactly. This isn’t a horror movie, KC. Van Helsing doesn’t get a heroic last-minute save and a dramatic speech. He gets flattened. Kong and Ogre? They don’t care about storylines. They care about destruction—and tonight, they’re getting dinner served on a silver stake."

KC ROGERS:
(Looking toward camera)
"Well, no matter who shows up, the heart of this match can’t be denied. Van Helsing’s fighting for revenge. For Hansel. For the Enclave. And if that mystery partner shows up ready? This could be the upset of the night."

(Holds up prediction card)
"As for my pick—I’m going with Van Helsing and his mystery partner. It’s a gamble, but if anyone’s earned faith, it’s the Hunter."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Laughing)
"Blind loyalty, KC. You love these doomed romantics. My pick? Kong and Ogre—and they won’t just win, they’ll end whoever steps in that ring with Helsing."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
"Agreed. They’ve got size, power, and momentum. Van Helsing’s walking in with hope—but Kong and Ogre bring certainty. My pick: Monster’s Bash."

KC ROGERS:
(Holding up cue cards for audience tally)
"And here’s how the rest of our panel sees it:
Johnny ‘The Mic’ Michaels – Van Helsing and Partner
Smooth Samantha – Van Helsing and Partner
Louie Linville – Kong and Ogre
Slick Ricky Vega – Kong and Ogre"

KC ROGERS:
(Tallying fingers)
"So it’s 4–3 in favor of Kong and Ogre. Close call, but the monsters have the edge on paper. Let’s just hope Van Helsing’s partner isn’t still wrapping their wrists when the bell rings."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Dryly)
"Better hope they brought a priest and a miracle."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Flatly)
"And maybe a stretcher."

[MATCH 3: MAID MARION vs. MOONSHADOW]

“Honor in the Shadows: The Merry Band vs. The Wolf Pack – Chapter One”

[VISUAL: RETURN FROM PROMO PACKAGE]
The screen flickers with shots of the Wolf Pack howling at the moon under a blood-red sky, intercut with the Merry Band running through darkened woods. A flash of Moonshadow landing a moonsault in the May dark match. Maid Marion drawing her bow in a stormy forest. Overlay: MATCH 3 – MAID MARION vs. MOONSHADOW.

KC ROGERS:
(Turning to camera with energy)
"And now we dive into Match 3—the opening salvo in what’s being called the Merry Band vs. Wolf Pack Trilogy here at Polar Meltdown. It starts with Maid Marion—beloved archer and loyal heart of the Merry Band—going head-to-head with the sleek, cold-blooded predator Moonshadow of the Wolf Pack."

DAVE “THE BRUTE” KENT:
(Leaning forward, arms crossed with a critical edge)
"Let’s not sugarcoat it, KC. This match feels like it was taped to the side of the Supercard with a glue stick. There’s no story here—no real build, no heat, not even a backstage attack to spice things up. Just two faction members thrown into the mix because they’re attached to bigger groups."

(Pointing toward the camera)
"And that’s where I take issue with Ms. Sweetins’ booking. This is her first Supercard—if you’re trying to make a statement, why this match? Why not give Moonshadow, who’s been putting in consistent, quality work for months, a match with actual spotlight potential? Instead, we get this afterthought."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Snorting, smug)
"Couldn’t agree more, Brute. This isn’t a match—it’s a formality. A checkmark in the trilogy column. And spoiler alert? This is going to be the first of three wins the Wolf Pack is walking away with. This match? It’s over before it starts."

(Smirks and tilts shades)
"Maid Marion is tough, sure. She’s got heart. She can shoot an arrow. But heart doesn’t beat hunger. Moonshadow has been tearing it up last few months, and she’s finally getting a little shine on the main card. She’s not letting that slip."

KC ROGERS:
(Trying to balance the discussion)
"Alright, I hear the criticism—and I don’t disagree that this match didn’t get the build it probably deserves. But that doesn’t mean the match itself won’t deliver. You’ve got two incredibly skilled women with very different styles—Marion’s precision and technique against Moonshadow’s feral unpredictability."

(Glancing toward Dave)
"And remember, Moonshadow did defeat Maid Marion in that dark match back in May… so this might be Marion’s chance at redemption."

DAVE “THE BRUTE” KENT:
(Shrugs)
"Or it’ll be a repeat. My money’s on Moonshadow. She's cold, calculating, and knows how to capitalize. Maid Marion’s bounced around too much—tags, trios, singles, no consistency. Moonshadow’s been focused. That matters."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Grinning)
"One down, two to go. Let the Wolf Hunt begin."

KC ROGERS:
(Holding up cue cards)
"Well, here’s how the picks shake out:

  • I’m going with Moonshadow—she’s just too dangerous to bet against.

  • Eddie and Dave both backing Moonshadow.

  • Johnny 'The Mic' Michaels also goes with Moonshadow.

  • Samantha is the lone voice of the Merry Band tonight—she’s picking Maid Marion.

  • Louie Linville and Slick Ricky Vega—both say Moonshadow."

KC ROGERS:
(Counting it out)
"That’s 6–1 in favor of Moonshadow. The experts are calling it a blowout—but Maid Marion has surprised us before. She might just have one more trick up her quiver."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Deadpan)
"She’ll need a magic arrow… and maybe a miracle."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Chuckling)
"Or a full moon reversal clause."

KC ROGERS:
(Smiling, wrapping up)
"Either way, this is just the beginning of what promises to be an epic Merry Band vs. Wolf Pack clash. But for now—advantage, Wolf Pack."

[MATCH 4: NORTH STAR TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT FINAL]

The Blonde Bombshells (Dorothy & Alice) vs. The Queens of Punishment (Crimson Viper & Dark Duchess)
“Crowns, Chaos, and KABOOM.”

[VISUAL: OPEN ON A TITLE BELT RESTING ON A VELVET PILLOW.]
Hard cinematic cuts of the tournament’s rise—Dorothy and Alice exploding into action, hitting KABOOM on Moonshadow and Moon Silver. The Queens of Punishment stomping out Mrs. Claus and Pearl. Cut to a shot of the glittering North Star Tag Team Titles spinning under icy lighting. The screen flashes: MATCH 4 – TOURNAMENT FINAL.

KC ROGERS:
(Excitement brimming, sitting up straighter with a proud smile)
"Oh, this one has electricity running through it—this is the moment two teams have been fighting for all winter long! It’s the North Star Tag Team Title Tournament Final—and we’ve got the red-hot rebels, The Blonde Bombshells, taking on the battle-hardened Queens of Punishment!"

(Clips show Dorothy and Alice standing tall with Goldie Locks behind them, arms crossed and smirking)
"Dorothy and Alice came into this tournament looking to shake up the hierarchy—they rebelled against the so-called ‘respect your elders’ energy of the locker room, and they’ve been burning a path through the division ever since. Regina and Malice? Gone. Moonshadow and Moon Silver? Done. Scarlett and Gretel? Boom."

(Flashing the ‘KABOOM’ catchphrase graphic on screen)
"And now they’re undefeated, riding a wave of momentum into Polar Meltdown. If there’s a team that feels destined for gold right now… it’s them."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(With rare approval, nodding slightly)
"You know what? No argument from me, KC. They’ve surprised me. I thought this was another gimmick team thrown together to sell some T-shirts. But they’ve shown cohesion, timing, and more importantly, they’ve won smart."

(Looks down at notes)
"They don’t just throw moves around—they work as a unit, they strategize, and they’ve leaned into the rebel angle without becoming sloppy. That’s rare. And honestly, it’s why they’re in this final."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Snorts, taking off sunglasses dramatically)
"Are we watching the same show? I’m not saying the Bombshells aren’t talented, but this is the deep end now. You don’t face a team like the Queens of Punishment and act like you’re still playing hopscotch backstage."

(Clips of Crimson Viper locking in a submission and Duchess powerbombing Pearl)
"These women are ruthless, calculated, veterans. And don’t forget—they’re trained in madness. I don’t care how many matches the Bombshells won—you’ve never truly wrestled until Mad Hatter’s whispering chaos in your ear from ringside."

(Laughs)
"You think Dorothy and Alice are gonna outsmart that? In a title final?"

KC ROGERS:
(Holding her ground)
"Experience counts—but so does momentum. The Bombshells have never looked sharper. Their double-team finisher is one of the most protected moves in the division right now, they’re showing confidence, and they’ve got Goldie Locks behind them—maybe not ringside, but in their corner all the same."

DAVE “THE BRUTE” KENT:
(Raises a brow)
"And we can’t ignore the Mad Hatter variable. The guy is... unstable. He's cost the Queens other matches—just ask Regina. He may be a genius or a grenade depending on the night."

(Beat)
"That could be the deciding factor."

KC ROGERS:
(Smirks knowingly)
"And here’s how the predictions are lining up backstage:

  • I’m picking the Blonde Bombshells—they’re on fire, and they’re ready.

  • Dave agrees—it’s rare, but here we are.

  • Eddie, of course, sticking with the Queens.

  • Johnny 'The Mic' Michaels – Bombshells.

  • Smooth Samantha – Bombshells.

  • Louie Linville – Bombshells.

  • Slick Ricky Vega – Queens of Punishment."

KC ROGERS:
(Counting them out)
"That’s 5 to 2 in favor of Dorothy and Alice. Looks like the panel believes Polar Meltdown might just be the night for a KABOOM-level coronation."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Smirking, shaking head)
"Watch the throne. The Queens didn’t come all this way to hand it over to a pair of candy-colored rookies with glitter boots and attitude."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Blunt)
"They’re not rookies anymore, Eddie. If the Queens want that gold—they’re going to have to earn it."

KC ROGERS:
(With gleam in her eye)
"One team walks in with fire. One team walks in with fear. Only one walks out with the North Star Tag Team Titles. We'll find out if this is truly the era of rebellion… or if the Queens still reign."

[MATCH 5: FACTION WAR CONTINUES – TAG TEAM CLASH]

Merry Band (Friar Tuck & Little John) vs. The Howlers (Howler 1 & Howler 2)
"Two Teams. One Feud. Zero Mercy."

[VISUAL: INTENSE MUSIC OVERLAYS CLIPS OF FRIAR TUCK AND LITTLE JOHN STANDING BACK-TO-BACK—CLUB AND AXE IN HAND—FOLLOWED BY THE HOWLERS STALKING IN THE DARK UNDER A BLOOD MOON.]

KC ROGERS:
(Leaning in with a touch of urgency in her voice)
"And now we get the second act in the Merry Band vs. Wolf Pack trilogy—and let me tell you, this one’s a biggie. We’ve got Friar Tuck and Little John, the loyal hammers behind Robin Hood, stepping into the ring with the Wolf Pack’s savage enforcers, The Howlers."

(A side-by-side graphic of both teams flexes on screen, followed by a flash of their faction logos)
"This one’s more than just a grudge—it’s a measuring stick for where these tag teams stand in the division hierarchy."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Hands steepled, smirking confidently)
"You’re exactly right, KC—but let’s call it what it is. The Merry Band were riding high until they ran into the Polar Bears, and that title match loss? It crushed their momentum like a falling log."

(Cuts to slow-motion of the Polar Bears pinning Little John)
"Meanwhile, The Howlers? They’ve been doing the dirty work for Big Bad Wolf all year—and winning while they do it. They've sharpened their claws in singles, six-man tags—you name it."

(Eyes widen behind his sunglasses)
"And now they finally get to work as a unit, side-by-side, against a team that looks like they’re still nursing their bruised egos."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Firm nod of agreement)
"Trajectory matters in wrestling—and right now, these teams are going in opposite directions. The Howlers have looked meaner and more polished with every outing. Their tandem offense is getting tighter, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they put themselves into tag title conversations after tonight."

(Sternly)
"Meanwhile, the Merry Band? That title loss showed they’ve got a ceiling. And they’ve been stuck under it ever since."

KC ROGERS:
(Defensive, but passionate)
"I don’t disagree that the Merry Band stumbled—but that doesn’t erase what they’ve done to get here. Tuck and Little John fought their way to the top of the tag ranks with grit and powerhouse synergy. And I think tonight—they’re coming out swinging with something to prove."

(Clips of their hard-hitting matches play)
"Sometimes a loss wakes you up. I wouldn’t count them out just yet."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Chirps with mock sincerity)
"Aww, a redemption arc. How fairy-tale appropriate."

(Winks at the camera)
"But this isn’t storytime, KC. The Howlers hunt in packs, and at Polar Meltdown, they’re taking two pelts home."

KC ROGERS:
(Rolling her eyes playfully)
"You can howl all you want, Eddie, but here’s how the predictions stack up for this faction-fueled fight:

  • I’m going with the Merry Band. They’re hungry to climb back.

  • Eddie picks The Howlers, no surprise.

  • Dave agrees—The Howlers.

  • Johnny 'The Mic' Michaels – Howlers.

  • Smooth Samantha – Merry Band.

  • Louie Linville – Howlers.

  • Slick Ricky Vega – Merry Band."

KC ROGERS:
(With a shrug and smile)
"That makes it 4 to 3 for the Howlers—but it's a close one, and I think that’s a testament to the unpredictability of this match."

DAVE “THE BRUTE” KENT:
(Grim tone)
"It won’t be pretty. This one’s going to be bruises, brawling, and maybe a stretcher."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Chuckling)
"Good. I’m bringing popcorn."

KC ROGERS:
(Looking straight to camera)
"Will the Merry Band bounce back or will the Wolf Pack feast on more momentum? We’ll find out when fists fly at Polar Meltdown!"

[MATCH 6 – "BATTLE FOR HIS SOUL"]

Demonic Legion (Krampus, Jack Frost & Abaddon w/ Lilith)
vs.
House of Heyman’s Snake Pit (Leiton, Niven & Tobias Snake w/ Grinch Heyman)
Stipulation: Winner Gains the Services of Grinch Heyman

[VISUAL: DARK, DRAMATIC MUSIC PLAYS OVER MONTAGE—HEYMAN HOLDING KRAMPUS’ ARM IN VICTORY, THEN BEING PUBLICLY SHOVED TO THE MAT… CLIPS OF JACK FROST FREEZING OPPONENTS, ABADDON SMASHING THROUGH DOORS… CUT TO HEYMAN IN A DARK ROOM, LIGHTING A MATCH AS THE SNAKE PIT NODS IN THE SHADOWS BEHIND HIM.]

KC ROGERS:
(Takes a breath, her green dress catching the light as she leans in)
"And now… we get to one of the most emotional matches on the card. Not just because of what’s at stake—but because of who is at stake. The man in the middle, the mastermind behind monsters and mercenaries alike… the one and only Grinch Heyman."

(Camera shows a clip of Heyman walking between the Snake Pit and his former clients, his face a mask of regret and resolve.)
"This is a battle for his soul. For his future. And perhaps… for his legacy."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Adjusts his sunglasses and shakes his head slowly)
"You know, KC… I respect the Grinch. I do. I’ve said for years that the man has a mind for wrestling warfare. But this? This right here? This was a mistake."

(Leans into the camera, his voice dripping with disbelief)
"You don’t challenge demons with a bunch of mercenaries on a losing streak and expect to win. Snake Pit started hot, sure. But lately, they’ve been about as reliable as a snowman in a sauna. And now he’s gambling everything—the rights to his own services—on a team that hasn’t delivered?"

(Shakes head again)
"And what’s worse… he’s been seen talking to Rudolph. And the Blonde Bombshells. What is this, a face turn? Is the Grinch going soft?"

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Tapping his notepad, eyes hard through his mask)
"Normally, I’d say Heyman has a trick up his sleeve. That he’s the smartest man in the room. But I’m with Eddie on this one."

(Clips play of Krampus hurling a steel chair, Jack Frost blasting opponents with his icy mist, and Abaddon flattening a local competitor.)
"Krampus, Frost, Abaddon… under Lilith, they’re not just unhinged—they’re focused. Dangerous. This version of the Demonic Legion is terrifying. And Heyman built this monster—now he’s trying to slay it? Not happening."

KC ROGERS:
(Solemnly nods)
"I’ll admit—Heyman’s history with Krampus and Frost is legendary. What they did at Nightmare at the North Pole was historic. But that ended badly. Very badly. Krampus publicly humiliated the man who made him, and now Lilith controls the Legion like a puppeteer yanking on chaos itself."

(Brief pause as a still of Lilith posing in the shadows behind Abaddon flashes onscreen)
"On the other hand, Snake Pit—Leiton, Niven, and Tobias—they’re talented, dangerous when they click. But they haven’t clicked since spring."

(She sighs)
"I’m afraid this story ends in fire for House of Heyman."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Grinning)
"Poetic. Just not optimistic. I’m going with the Demonic Legion—and if Heyman wants to survive, he better start kissing Lilith’s boots tonight."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Nods, pen tapping slowly)
"Same. Demonic Legion. You don’t outrun your past in NPCW… not when it walks like Krampus and smashes like Abaddon."

KC ROGERS:
(With a touch of sympathy in her voice)
"Well, that’s a grim sweep from the desk. Let’s see how the rest of the crew weighed in:

  • KC Rogers – Demonic Legion

  • Eddie Ellington – Demonic Legion

  • Dave Kent – Demonic Legion

  • Johnny 'The Mic' Michaels – Demonic Legion

  • Smooth Samantha – Snake Pit (‘The House Always Wins!’ as she wrote—classic Heyman slogan!)

  • Louie Linville – Demonic Legion

  • Slick Ricky Vega – Demonic Legion"

(She glances at the tally)
"That’s 6–1 for the Demonic Legion. But let me remind everyone: Grinch Heyman didn’t get where he is by playing fair. If there’s one man in NPCW who can pull off a miracle—or manufacture one—it’s him."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Laughing)
"He better start working now then, because unless that miracle involves holy water, garlic, and a flamethrower, he’s about to be absorbed into the Legion—body and soul."

KC ROGERS:
(Facing camera, eyes intense)
"Will Grinch Heyman find redemption—or become another soul lost to the shadows? We find out at Polar Meltdown. The future of a wrestling mastermind hangs in the balance."

[MATCH 7 – NORTHERN LIGHTS TITLE MATCH]

Champion Big Bad Wolf (Wolf Pack) vs Robin Hood (Merry Band)
Match Type: "I QUIT" – The match ends only when one competitor utters the words “I Quit.”

[VISUAL: VIDEO PACKAGE PLAYS — cinematic orchestral music underscored by howling winds and rising drums. Clips flash of Big Bad Wolf’s devastating title win at Madness in March, his sneering grin as he raises the belt. Cut to Robin Hood, smirking with charm during early promos, then transforming into a focused, determined warrior, aided by Maid Marion. Highlights of their past singles bouts. Cut to their draw in May—both men bloodied, neither backing down.]

KC ROGERS:
(Voice calm but electric with tension)
"And now… we come to the third and final chapter in the Merry Band vs Wolf Pack trilogy. It’s more than a championship match—it’s a test of will, of endurance, and of soul."

(The camera tightens on KC as she speaks earnestly to the NPCW Universe)
"For the Northern Lights Title, Big Bad Wolf defends his gold against the reformed, refocused Robin Hood in an I Quit match—where the only way to win… is to make your opponent say those two devastating words."

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Leaning in with weighty gravitas, mask unmoving)
"Look, this feud has been heated, it’s been storied, it’s had six-man tag battles, mind games, and more than a few low blows. But let’s talk brass tacks."

(Footage plays of Big Bad Wolf brutalizing opponents and smirking while doing it)
"Big Bad Wolf has been a dominant Northern Lights Champion since Madness in March. That belt has become a collar around his neck—because he controls it. He’s confident, calculated, cruel when needed. And in this format? He’s in his element."

(Dave points a gloved finger into the camera)
"Robin Hood might have a shiny new conscience thanks to Maid Marion whispering in his ear—but that doesn’t change the fact that Big Bad Wolf beat him when it counted, and held him to a draw the last time. He’s never beaten the Wolf. And tonight, he’s gonna have to break him."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Hands folded behind his head, grinning with smug certainty)
"You’re both being too generous to Robin Hood. He’s got heart? Great. He’s passionate? Cute. But what’s he gonna do when the Alpha of the NPCW Jungle—Big Bad Wolf—sinks his claws in and starts to twist? You don’t win these matches with honor, KC. You win them with hatred."

(He lowers his glasses slightly)
"And Big Bad Wolf? He's overflowing with it."

KC ROGERS:
(Passionate, eyes lighting with conviction)
"That’s exactly why this match favors Robin Hood, Eddie. Yes, he’s never beaten the Wolf. Yes, the Wolf has been dominant. But this isn’t about pins or submissions. This is about breaking someone's spirit. And let me tell you: Robin Hood doesn’t quit. Not when his Merry Band is watching. Not when justice is on the line."

(Clips play of Robin Hood valiantly refusing to tap out, shaking off beatings, rising again)
"He’s grown. He’s shed his ego. He’s fighting for something bigger than gold—redemption. And this match… this match is tailor-made for a man like him."

DAVE KENT:
(Dryly)
"Poetic, KC. But poetry doesn’t beat a wolf’s bite."

PREDICTIONS ROUND-UP:

KC Rogers: Robin Hood
Eddie Ellington: Big Bad Wolf
Dave Kent: Big Bad Wolf
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Big Bad Wolf
Smooth Samantha: Robin Hood
Louie Linville: Robin Hood
Slick Ricky Vega: Big Bad Wolf

KC ROGERS:
(Reads off the tally with a heavy breath)
"So it’s 4–3 in favor of the Big Bad Wolf heading into this final act of the trilogy…"

(She stares straight into the camera)
"But let me say this loud and clear… If Robin Hood can find the fire to finally make the Wolf say ‘I Quit,’ it might just be the most emotional moment in NPCW history."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Rolling his eyes)
"Or the most delusional. Hope doesn’t beat hunger. And Big Bad Wolf? He’s starving to humiliate Robin one last time."

DAVE KENT:
(Flatly)
"Hope’s nice. But pain wins matches like this. And Big Bad Wolf has made a career out of it."

[VISUAL: SPLIT SCREEN – On one side, Big Bad Wolf snarling with the Northern Lights Title glinting in the background. On the other, Robin Hood taping up his fists, eyes narrowed with purpose.]

KC ROGERS:
(Quietly, with gravitas)
"Two warriors. One title. One word that decides everything. At Polar Meltdown, either the Wolf howls in victory… or Robin Hood makes history."

[MATCH 8 – NPCW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH]

Champions: The Polar Bears (Polar Bear 1 & Polar Bear 2)
Challengers: The Misfits of Mayhem (Negropolis & Madman Mason)
With: Flippers the Penguin (mascot) & Ace MacDougal (manager)

[VISUAL: HYPE PACKAGE BEGINS — sweeping shots of snow-capped arenas, blizzard-charged lights flashing as Polar Bear 1 and 2 deliver thunderous powerbombs. The camera slows for impact, crowd roaring as ice and snow graphics smash across the screen. Cut to the Misfits arriving in chaos—Negropolis’s dark aura contrasting with Madman Mason’s wild-eyed grin. Flippers waddles out, waving a tiny Misfits flag, sending fans into hysterics.]

KC ROGERS:
(Grinning broadly)
"This one’s got all the ingredients of a classic, folks—power vs unpredictability, cold fury vs chaotic fun, and let’s face it… Flippermania is running wild in the NPCW!"

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Immediately dismissive)
"I’m sorry, KC, are we seriously still talking about Flippers the Penguin? This is supposed to be the NPCW Tag Team Championships, not a zoo exhibit!"

(He scoffs, leaning forward with a smug look)
"When these two goons—Negropolis and Mason—first showed up from HCW, I thought, ‘Okay, maybe they’ll bring some real Mayhem to NPCW.’ What did they do? Lost to the Amigos. THE AMIGOS! And now we’re calling them contenders?"

DAVE "THE BRUTE" KENT:
(Cold and analytical)
"Eddie’s got a point. There was a moment where I thought these Misfits were going to be dangerous. They’re both capable singles guys. But between that rocky start and… the circus act that came with Flippers, I think they lost their edge."

(Clips roll of the Misfits goofing with Flippers between matches)
"And that’s all fine for merch sales and kids in the crowd, but the Polar Bears are hunters. They’re apex predators in the tag division. They haven’t just won — they’ve dominated. Comet & Prancer. Donner & Blitzen. Tuck & Little John. It’s not just about power. It’s about precision."

KC ROGERS:
(Fired up, clapping back)
"And yet the only team to give the Polar Bears trouble? The Misfits. A draw AND a clean win in non-title action. That’s not a fluke. That’s momentum."

(Clips flash of Negropolis catching Polar Bear 1 with a chokeslam while Mason dives onto Polar Bear 2. Flippers hops onto the apron waving a Misfits banner as the crowd goes nuts.)

"Negropolis is the shadowy brute. Mason’s unpredictable and wild. They have chemistry now. They’ve grown. And they’ve got the people on their side. This isn’t the Misfits of March. This is the Mayhem of June."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Rolling his eyes)
"Please. The only thing Mayhem about them is the merch table. When the Polar Bears are angry? That’s a storm you don’t come back from. And they’re angry. Losing to the Misfits? Drawing with them? That’s a blemish on their reign they’re gonna want to erase with force."

DAVE KENT:
(Firmly)
"This one won’t go long. The Polar Bears are coming in with a message. And the Misfits? Sorry, boys. Your fifteen minutes are up."

KC ROGERS:
(Leaning in passionately)
"You’re all underestimating what happens when a team finds their groove. When they find the crowd. When they find Flippermania."

(Cut to crowd footage — children and adults wearing “Team Flippers” shirts, penguin plushes in hand. Chants of “MIS-FITS! MIS-FITS!” echo.)

"This isn’t just about tag belts anymore. This is about heart. About resilience. And tonight, I believe the Misfits might just shock the world… again."

PREDICTIONS ROUND-UP:

  • KC Rogers: Misfits of Mayhem

  • Eddie Ellington: Polar Bears

  • Dave Kent: Polar Bears

  • Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Polar Bears

  • Smooth Samantha: Misfits of Mayhem

  • Louie Linville: Polar Bears

  • Slick Ricky Vega: Polar Bears

KC ROGERS:
(Smirking)
"5 to 2 for the Polar Bears… but we’ve all seen crazier things in NPCW. Especially when penguins are involved."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Deadpan)
"If that penguin wins gold, I’m moving to the South Pole."

DAVE KENT:
(Dry as ice)
"If Flippers gets a tag title before The Howlers, we need to start rethinking the booking around here."

[VISUAL: SPLIT SCREEN – The Polar Bears standing tall under falling snow, titles raised above their heads. Opposite them, the Misfits of Mayhem — Negropolis ominous and looming, Mason laughing wildly… and Flippers, flapping his wings proudly atop a podium draped in “FLIPPERMANIA LIVES!” banners.]

KC ROGERS:
"Snow meets chaos. Ice meets madness. And only one team walks out of Polar Meltdown with the gold."

[MATCH 9 – QUEEN OF THE NORTH TITLE MATCH]

Champion: Wicked Witch (Alpha Witch of the Witch’s Coven)
Challenger: Mrs. Claus
Title on the Line: Queen of the North Championship

[VISUAL: A storm brews over a frozen forest as the ominous laughter of the Wicked Witch echoes. Flashes of her standing alongside the Coven—Wicked Willow, Morrigan, and Grizelda—light up the shadows. Her cold eyes stare down at the camera as her hands curl around the Queen of the North title.]

KC ROGERS:
(With fire in her voice)
"Every kingdom has its tyrant. And here in the North, the reign of the Wicked Witch has cast a shadow across everything we hold dear. But one woman—a legend in red—hasn’t backed down once."

(Clips roll of the Witch’s shocking debut alongside her Coven—Wicked Willow, Morrigan, and Grizelda—attacking Mrs. Claus and Dorothy, nearly blinding them with a blinding flash of spellfire.)

KC (CONT’D):
"And now, Mrs. Claus—matriarch of the North, heart of the NPCW—gets her chance at redemption. A chance to take back what was stolen."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Dryly, almost amused)
"Redemption? Come on, KC. This isn’t a Hallmark special. This is NPCW. And the Wicked Witch doesn’t care about your festive fairy tales. She’s here to dominate, and she’s doing it with the most dangerous Coven we’ve ever seen."

(He gestures to the screen showing the Wicked Witch with a Muta Lock on Mina Harker, grinning sadistically as Wicked Willow, Morrigan, and Grizelda circle the ring like wolves.)

DAVE KENT:
(Calm and analytical)
"You want to talk dominance? Just watch the Queen of the North Tournament finals. The Wicked Witch didn’t just win it—she orchestrated it."

(Clips roll of her victory over Wicked Willow in the finals—though it wasn’t a true clash, but the culmination of a dark pact between the two, securing the crown for the Alpha Witch.)

"It wasn’t about the fight. It was about control. And nobody plays the game like her."

KC ROGERS:
(Determined)
"Control can only last so long when you’re facing someone who refuses to be broken. Mrs. Claus took everything the Coven threw at her and still rose. She didn’t run. She didn’t quit. She FOUGHT."

(Video montage: Mrs. Claus taking down Morrigan with a snow shovel. Standing her ground against Grizelda. Comforting Pearl backstage. Her war paint streaked with frost and blood.)

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Rolling his eyes)
"And she lost. Let’s not forget—Wicked Witch already defended her title against her. And Mrs. Claus won… by disqualification. That’s not triumph. That’s technicality."

DAVE KENT:
(Firmly)
"Facts are facts. The Witch hasn't been pinned or submitted since arriving in NPCW. Her Coven watches every move. And when you fight one… you fight them all."

KC ROGERS:
(Pointing directly at camera)
"Then maybe it’s time someone stood up to all of them. Mrs. Claus isn’t just fighting for herself. She’s fighting for Dorothy. For Snow Maiden. For every woman who’s been left in the snow by the Coven’s cruelty."

[VISUAL SPLIT: On one side, the Wicked Witch sits on her throne of twisted black ice, bathed in green and purple light, title draped over her shoulder, her Coven behind her. On the other side, Mrs. Claus steps through swirling snow, the crowd chanting her name, flanked by hope and resolve.]

PREDICTIONS ROUND-UP:

  • KC Rogers: Mrs. Claus

  • Eddie Ellington: Wicked Witch

  • Dave Kent: Wicked Witch

  • Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Wicked Witch

  • Smooth Samantha: Mrs. Claus

  • Louie Linville: Wicked Witch

  • Slick Ricky Vega: Wicked Witch

KC ROGERS:
(Voice rising)
"You all count her out. But when that bell rings, and that snow starts falling, Mrs. Claus will rise. She’s the soul of this season, and she won’t let darkness reign forever."

EDDIE ELLINGTON:
(Smirking)
"And when the snow settles, you’ll see one thing… The Witch always wins."

DAVE KENT:
(Matter-of-fact)
"Tonight we don’t just crown a champion. We determine who controls the cold heart of NPCW."

[FADE OUT on the Queen of the North title as it glows with dark energy in the hands of Wicked Witch… and a red-gloved hand reaches for it through the storm.]

[MAIN EVENT – NPCW TITLE MATCH]

Steel Cage Match

Champion: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Powerhouse (Reindeer Coalition)
Challenger: Frankenstein’s Monster (Alpha Monster of Monster’s Bash)

[VISUAL: Thunder cracks over the North Pole skyline. The camera pans up a steel cage being lowered from the rafters, sparks flying as it hits the ground with a booming clang. Cut to Rudolph, bloodied but defiant, staring across from a snarling Frankenstein’s Monster, green skin glistening under the pale arena lights.]

 Dave Kent (Lead Analysis):

(Leaning forward, gruff tone)
"Let’s be real here. I’m not buying into the ‘hero’s journey’ fairy tale everyone’s trying to paint for Rudolph. Yeah, he’s had a gutsy run, I’ll give him that. But I don’t see him as a true champion—not yet. Not until he beats Santa head-to-head, clean, in the middle of the ring."

(Replays air of Rudolph pinning Frankenstein’s Monster in the six-man tag match at Madness in March, winning Santa’s title. The shot lingers on the confusion and chaos as Rudolph barely survives the final moments.)

Eddie Ellington:

(Smirking confidently)
"You’re damn right, Dave. That title win? A fluke born from chaos. Ever since then, the Monster’s Bash has been hunting Rudolph. They’ve tested him, worn him down, and now their crown jewel—Frankenstein’s Monster—is ready to take what was never Rudolph’s to begin with."

(Clips roll of sneak attacks backstage, chaotic six-man matches, and the terrifying sight of Monster’s Bash looming behind Rudolph as he’s laid out on the mat.)

KC Rogers (Counterpoint):

(Shaking her head, eyes blazing)
"You two can mock him all you want, but Rudolph’s never backed down. He’s survived the Bash, one by one, from Igor to Mummy to Gillman. Frankenstein may have a win and a draw over him, but a steel cage changes everything."

(Visual: The steel cage being lowered as Rudolph looks up defiantly, his breath frosting in the cold air.)

"That cage is no place for Frankenstein’s hulking frame—it’s a prison. He can’t hide behind his monsters. He can’t escape. And he sure as hell can’t bully his way to gold like he did in the past."

Dave Kent (Continues):

(Dismissively)
"This whole reign has been survival. That’s not domination. That’s not what a North Pole Champion is supposed to look like. He’s holding the belt like a placeholder, waiting for the true king—Santa Claus—to return."

KC Rogers (Snapping Back):

"And yet he's still standing, isn’t he? No matter how many monsters came for him, he never stayed down. That steel cage is a great equalizer. Rudolph doesn’t need to hide—he thrives in a fight."

Eddie Ellington:

(Laughing coldly)
"‘Thrives’? Against that behemoth? The cage doesn’t help Rudolph—it traps him with a living weapon! Frankenstein’s Monster isn’t climbing out. He’s tearing the door off and walking through fire to grab that belt."

"Polar Meltdown isn’t about size. It’s about heart. It’s about fighting back against the darkness. Rudolph didn’t just win the title—he earned it. And inside the steel, he’s going to prove it to the world."

Dave Kent:

(Cold and grim)
"Then he better be ready… because at Polar Meltdown, the Monster gets loose."

[FINAL IMAGE: The cage fully lowers. Rudolph, blood-red nose glowing in the dim light, grips the ropes as Frankenstein’s Monster glares at him from the other side—chains clinking on his wrists. Title belt raised. Stakes sky-high. One way out: through the Monster.]
