Wrestlefest Episode 003 - Maple Leaf Mayhem - July 1, 2025

Aired - July 1, 2025

Halifax, NS

Opening Segment

[The screen opens with fireworks bursting over the Halifax waterfront. NPCW's red-and-white graphics shimmer across the screen with maple leaves falling slowly in the background. The theme music of Wrestlefest kicks in — upbeat, heroic, and proudly Canadian. The camera cuts to the classic NPCW Webisode desk where KC Rogers and Alton Bell sit ready, decked out in red and white.]

KC ROGERS (bright, beaming): “🎉 HAPPY CANADA DAY, NPCW UNIVERSE! 🎉
We’re comin’ to you live from beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, and welcome to the Wrestlefest Webisode: MAPLE LEAF MAYHEM — your final stop on this wild Polar Meltdown extended weekend!”

ALTON BELL (gruff, authoritative): “That’s right, KC. We’ve seen bodies broken, champions dethroned, and alliances pushed to the edge — and tonight? Tonight may be the most important show of them all. Because every match we’re about to witness has consequences. This isn’t just a party — this is the proving ground.”

KC (nodding): “Five massive matches are on the card today. Let’s break it down for the NPCW Universe watching around the world — and a special shoutout to our Canadian fans coast-to-coast, from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island!”

MATCH 1 — BEST 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS REVENGE MATCH
Santa Claus vs Frankenstein’s Monster
KC: “The third time’s the charm? Dr. Frankenstein demanded one more go, and tonight it’s personal — Santa and Frankenstein’s Monster in a Best Two out of Three Falls grudge match!”

ALTON: “Santa’s ribs have healed, but Monster has nothing to lose and a doctor whispering vengeance in his ear. This one’s going long, and it’s going brutal.”

MATCH 2 — TAG TEAM TURMOIL
Queens of Punishment vs Hunters’ Enclave
KC: “The tag division heats up as Crimson Viper and Dark Duchess lock horns with Mina Harker and Gretel — two teams with vengeance in their hearts and a serious chip on their shoulder.”

ALTON: “Let’s be honest, these four women might steal the whole show. This match is about pain, precision, and positioning in the title scene.”

MATCH 3 — HIGH STAKES WOMEN’S SINGLES MATCH
Wicked Witch vs Mrs. Claus
KC: “This might just decide who’s next in line for the Queen of the North title. The Wicked Witch wants her crown back, and Mrs. Claus is out to prove she’s more than just holiday cheer.”

ALTON: “Goldie Locks better be watching. This match could set her whole summer on fire.”

MATCH 4 — TAG TEAM CHAOS
The Snake Pit vs The Demonic Legion (Krampus & Jack Frost)
KC: “Leiton and Niven Snake are coming off a crushing loss, and they want blood. But they’re facing two of the most terrifying figures in NPCW history — Krampus and Jack Frost.”

ALTON: “The Snake Pit says they want revenge? Tonight, they find out what it costs.”

MAIN EVENT — NORTHERN LIGHTS TRIPLE THREAT TITLE MATCH
Abaddon (C) vs Robin Hood vs Big Bad Wolf
KC: “The Northern Lights Title is on the line in a blockbuster Triple Threat! Can Abaddon hang onto the gold for more than a single day?”

ALTON: “You’ve got two former champs — one a cunning outlaw, the other a savage beast — and then there’s Abaddon, a demon with momentum and malice. This will be carnage with a crown on the line.”

KC (grinning at the camera): “This is what Canada Day is all about — community, chaos, and championship matches!”

ALTON (smirking): “Crack a cold one, find a seat, and prepare for fireworks. Because Maple Leaf Mayhem isn’t just a name — it’s a warning.”

KC: “Let’s get it started! It’s Santa vs Frankenstein’s Monster — Best 2 out of 3 Falls — NOW!”

[Cue rock-heavy match intro theme and transition to the ring for Match 1.]

MATCH 1

Santa Claus vs Frankenstein’s Monster (w/ Dr. Frankenstein)
Best 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match
Commentary: KC Rogers & Alton Bell

KC ROGERS: “Welcome back, NPCW Universe! We are kicking things off here in Halifax with a massive rematch from Polar Meltdown Aftermath — and this time, it’s personal and it’s two out of three falls! Santa Claus wants to end this nightmare once and for all!”

ALTON BELL: “Let’s not kid ourselves, KC. Frankenstein’s Monster was robbed last time. Now with Dr. Frankenstein at ringside and this match built for endurance, Santa’s in way over his jolly red head.”

🛎️ Fall One — Santa's Redemption

Frankenstein’s Monster opens hot, thanks to some early strategy from Dr. Frankenstein. The Monster lands a massive Choke Slam — only partially neutralized — and an Elbow Drop, but Santa digs deep. “The Holiday Hammer” rallies with three consecutive GOOD TIDINGS and traps the Monster in a painful CANDY CANE CRUSH.

KC: “Look at the strength! That’s the power of Christmas spirit right there!”

ALTON: “Bah! He’s lucky Honest Abe’s got the reaction time of a snowman.”

Santa keeps the momentum going and hits DOWN THE CHIMNEY — a big splash that flattens Frankenstein’s Monster. Abe counts… 1… 2… 3!

KC: “Santa scores the first fall! That’s one for Saint Nick!”

ALTON: “Frankenstein wasn’t even warmed up yet! That’s the warm-up fall, KC.”

🛎️ Fall Two — Monster's Rage

Santa tries to stay on top, but a quick toss to the outside by Frankenstein’s Monster sends him crashing. The referee counts... 10!

KC: “Oh no! Santa’s been counted out!”

ALTON: “That’s right! Count out or knock out — it all counts, KC! We’re tied 1-1. And now it’s survival time for that overgrown elf.”

🛎️ Final Fall — Chaos, Chairs & Carnage

The third fall is nasty. Commissioner Bernard tries to keep things fair, but the Demonic Legion’s antics escalate. Frankenstein’s Monster pounds Santa with Axe Handles, Back Smashes, and a brutal Pendulum Backbreaker.

KC: “He’s wearing Santa down — but Claus keeps coming back!”

Santa mounts a final rally with a flurry of GOOD TIDINGS slaps and even a YULETIDE YELL to fire up the crowd. But as momentum swings, Dr. Frankenstein sneaks in a steel chair assist right as Santa hits the ropes.

KC: “HEY! That’s a chair! Come on, Abe, you missed it!”

ALTON: “Oh quit crying, KC. That’s what you call SCIENTIFIC ADVANTAGE. Textbook execution by the Doctor!”

Monster hits one last Back Smash, hooks the leg… 1… 2… 3! It’s over!

Winner: Frankenstein’s Monster (2–1)
ALTON BELL: “Yes! Vengeance complete! Merry MONSTER-mas, Halifax!”

KC ROGERS: “I don’t believe it. It took chair shots, a count out, and constant interference to put Santa down. That’s not justice, that’s a robbery in broad daylight!”

POST-MATCH SUMMARY (Bell Rings Out):

KC: “Well, that's one way to start a Wrestlefest. Santa Claus gave everything he had — but the numbers game and the Doctor's dirty tricks stole this one. Revenge was short-lived.”

ALTON: “Heh. Short-lived like Santa’s win streak! Frankenstein’s Monster proves once again that holiday cheer is no match for scientific brutality. Now let’s see what chaos unfolds next — the Queens of Punishment are up next!”

MATCH 2

Queens of Punishment (Crimson Viper & Dark Duchess) vs. Mina Harker & Gretel
Commentary: KC Rogers & Alton Bell

KC ROGERS: “Alright, NPCW Universe, we’re back with Match 2 here at WrestleFest’s Maple Leaf Mayhem! This one’s got major stakes — the winning team moves one step closer to a shot at the North Star Tag Team Titles!”

ALTON BELL: “And let me make this simple for you, KC — the Queens of Punishment aren’t stepping toward anything. They’re stomping over the competition. Viper and Duchess don’t care about fairy tales — they’re building an empire of pain.”

KC: “No question they’re dangerous, but I’ve got to be honest, Alton — I’ve been watching Mina Harker closely these past few weeks, and something’s off. She’s been acting… erratic. Distracted. Like her mind’s not fully in the match.”

ALTON: “Oh please. Maybe she’s just finally realizing what she’s up against. You don’t bring a crossbow to a royal execution, KC — and the Queens brought the guillotine.”

Opening Flurry

The match starts fast with Gretel rocking Crimson Viper early with a Shining Wizard, forcing the tag to Dark Duchess. Mina enters and looks sharp initially — but things quickly start to unravel. Her timing is off. Her attacks are frantic, even misfiring during a key double-team.

KC: “See what I mean? Mina’s throwing strikes like she’s fighting ghosts out there.”

ALTON: “Maybe she is, KC. But Duchess isn’t. Duchess is just fighting to win — and winning at that.”

Queens Reign Down

As the match progresses, the Queens settle into dominant rhythm. Duchess crushes Mina with a Corner Diving Double Knee Drop, while Viper strings together a series of suplexes and power slams. The Hunters try to mount some offense with flashy double teams, but Mina’s disjointed execution is throwing off their flow.

KC: “Mina and Gretel are known for their chemistry, but tonight Mina’s head just isn’t in sync. She’s rushing. Breathing heavy. And Gretel keeps having to bail her out.”

ALTON: “Maybe Mina left her stake in her other gear bag. But the Queens? They brought their whole arsenal — and a Mad Hatter distraction, naturally.”

Chaos and Double Teams

A big turning point comes in the 18th minute as all four women end up in the ring for a wild free-for-all. Double teams fly on both sides — including the Queens’ devastating Queen’s Checkmate, and the Hunters countering with a flurry of Shining Wizards and Hurricanranas.

KC: “This is wild! Four-way chaos — but still, Mina’s just a tick behind on every exchange. Like she’s reacting on instinct, not strategy.”

ALTON: “Strategy is for planners. The Queens are executioners, KC. That’s why they’ll be wearing those North Star titles before the snow falls.”

Final Sequence

Despite some hard hits from Gretel in the final minutes, Dark Duchess takes over with punishing offense, including a Bow and Arrow Stretch and her signature Frogsplash to seal the win.

1…2…3!

KC: “That’s it! The Queens of Punishment pull it off with a massive win here in Halifax!”

ALTON: “Put that title shot on ice, because it’s heading to the palace! The Queens just took one giant step toward North Star gold.”

Post-Match Analysis

  • KC: “Gretel did her best out there, but Mina… something’s going on. Her heart’s in the ring, but her head might be somewhere else entirely. That could cost them big time moving forward.”

  • ALTON: “What it cost them was this match. And with performances like that, they’ll be hunting titles from the bottom of the rankings. Meanwhile, the Queens are surging — ruthless, united, and dangerous.”

MATCH 3

Wicked Witch vs. Mrs. Claus
Winner moves up the rankings for the Queen of the North Title!
Referee: “Honest” Abe
Commentary: KC Rogers & Alton Bell

KC ROGERS: “We’re back at Maple Leaf Mayhem, and it’s time to sweeten the deal—because this next match is wrapped up in red-and-white stripes and Queen of the North title stakes!”

ALTON BELL: “And unwrapping this present early? The Wicked Witch. Ruthless. Calculating. And, unlike Mrs. Claus, she didn’t build her resume handing out candy canes—she earned it casting curses and snapping ankles!”

KC: “It’s literally a Candy Cane Match, Alton. There are candy cane-striped kendo sticks around the ring. But don’t let the theme fool you—this will be anything but sweet.”

Round-by-Round Mayhem

1st–5th Minutes: The match starts with both competitors trading big offense. The Witch wraps up an early Ankle Lock, but Mrs. Claus counters with powerful splashes and the Claus Clutch! Coven interference is already in play, as a distraction hex swings momentum toward the Witch.

KC: “The Coven is getting involved already—and the ref’s got his hands full!”

ALTON: “That’s called working smarter, KC. And Wicked Witch is the headmistress of that academy.”

6th–10th Minutes: Mrs. Claus fires back with Flying Dropkicks and Claus Crunches, nearly pinning the Witch twice. But Wicked Witch keeps kicking out with venom, and responds with DDTs and a punishing Witch’s Wrath submission hold.

KC: “You can’t deny it—Mrs. Claus is holding her own, even with the Coven circling like buzzards.”

ALTON: “She’s fighting off more than just pain, KC. She's fighting off destiny. And I hate to say it, but tonight it belongs to the Wicked Witch.”

11th–20th Minutes: This becomes a war of attrition, with each woman landing bombs. Mrs. Claus continues to rally with Back Hand Chops and Christmas Light Clotheslines, while the Witch responds with neckbreakers and suplexes.

KC: “Both these women are digging deep! Mrs. Claus may hand out joy, but she's showing pure toughness right now!”

ALTON: “And Wicked Witch is turning this Candy Cane match into a horror story. Just the way I like it.”

Witchcraft and Whiplash

21st–28th Minutes: The Coven unleashes green mist into Mrs. Claus’ eyes. She stumbles—but rallies! Bernard starts barking orders, taunting the Witch and distracting the Coven’s rhythm. The match tilts back to even, though Wicked Witch continues to hammer away with suplexes and dark magic.

KC: “That green mist just blinded Mrs. Claus! Come on, Honest Abe—do your job!”

ALTON: “Oh, he’s doing it, alright. He’s staying out of the way of greatness!”

The Final Stretch (29th–33rd Minutes)

Despite everything, Mrs. Claus won’t quit. She survives another Witch’s Wrath, eats a Black Magic Backbreaker, and still rises. Finally, after landing a Claus Crunch and absorbing a last-gasp Swinging Neckbreaker, Mrs. Claus hits a final Claus Crunch standing splash—and hooks the leg!

1…2…3!!!

KC: “She did it! Mrs. Claus has pinned the Wicked Witch in an all-out holiday brawl!”

ALTON: “You’ve got to be kidding me! This match was stolen faster than a cookie from Santa’s plate!”

KC: “Call it what you want, Alton, but the record books will say it loud and clear: Mrs. Claus wins, and her sleigh just got a direct route toward the Queen of the North Title!”

Post-Match Recap

  • Winner: Mrs. Claus via pinfall at 33:00

  • Key Interference: Coven (Green Mist), Commissioner Bernard (taunting + strategy)

  • Match Type: Candy Cane Match (Holiday-Themed Weapons Legal)

  • Implication: Mrs. Claus climbs the Queen of the North rankings and could be in line for a title shot

KC: “This wasn’t just a win — this was a statement. Mrs. Claus isn’t just jolly. She’s dangerous.”

ALTON: “Dangerous? Please. She's on borrowed time. If she steps in the ring with the real royalty of the North, she’ll get frostbitten.”

MATCH 4

Leiton & Niven Snake (Snake Pit) Vs Krampus & Jack Frost (Demonic Legion w/ Lilith)
Referee: “Honest” Abe
Commentary: KC Rogers & Alton Bell

KC ROGERS: “Coming up now—it’s venom versus villainy! Snake Pit enters the lion’s den as they face off against the dark, cold fury of the Demonic Legion!”

ALTON BELL: “You say lion’s den—I say throne room. Krampus and Jack Frost are not here to play fair, KC. They’re here to break necks, freeze blood, and climb the ranks straight into tag team title contention!”

KC: “Well, with Lilith ringside and the tag division heating up, this is more than a grudge match. This could determine who’s next in line for the NPCW Tag Team Championship!

First Act: Fangs and Fury

The match starts fast as Leiton Snake bursts out with a Sling Blade, and lands a Buckle Bomb for early damage. Krampus shakes it off and claws back with his signature Krampus Krush and Krampus Claw submission.

KC: “Leiton’s speed is unreal—but Krampus just absorbs it like a glacier!”

ALTON: “You don’t rattle Krampus. He drinks pain for breakfast and screams carols backward!”

Lilith tries to distract the ref, but Leiton shrugs it off, keeping the match clean—for now.

Double Teaming and Darkness

Niven Snake tags in for a brutal Samoan Drop, while Leiton follows with a Single Underhook Facebuster! Snake Pit looks sharp—until Krampus flattens both with another Krampus Krush.

The match becomes a flurry of technical violence and supernatural brutality:

  • Curb Stomps and Sling Blades from the Snakes

  • Sinister Suplexes and Evil Embraces from Krampus

  • Jack Frost tags in at minute 12, bringing pure winter vengeance

KC: “Jack Frost may look cool and collected, but there’s a storm in those strikes!”

ALTON: “Frost is the most dangerous technician in NPCW—and with Lilith pulling strings, the Snakes are just mice in a maze.”

Mid-Match Mayhem

Leiton and Niven keep trading tags, but Frost neutralizes a double team and unloads a devastating Winter’s Wrath Crossface that almost gets the win.

The back-and-forth is intense:

  • Snake Pit lands Deadlift Powerbombs, Apron Dropkicks, and a Pedigree Facebuster

  • Frost answers with Frostbite Clutches, Arctic Blasts, and Snowdrift Scissors

  • Krampus joins in on extended double teams, crushing Leiton with Running Powerslams

KC: “Snake Pit is holding strong, but this is turning into a numbers game—Demonic Legion is tag-teaming like a machine!”

ALTON: “That’s not a machine—it’s an apocalypse. These aren’t wrestlers—they’re harbingers.”

Endgame: The Bite Goes Cold

As the minutes tick by, Snake Pit loses steam. Jack Frost reverses a double team at minute 24 with a Frostbite Clutch. The Snakes try to rally, but their coordination starts to falter under the blizzard-like pressure.

Final Sequence (Minutes 26–27):

  • Leiton hits an Enzuigiri

  • Jack Frost answers with an Icy Edge

  • Then straps in the Frostbite Clutch again…

Leiton taps out.

KC: “No! Jack Frost has that Cobra Clutch sunk in deep—Leiton has no choice!”

ALTON: “And there it is! Frostbite claims another soul! The Demonic Legion with a dominant win—and a message sent straight to the tag champions!”

POST-MATCH RECAP

KC: “I’ve got to give it up to Snake Pit—they fought hard, worked together—but the cold winds of the Legion were too much tonight.”

ALTON: “Too much? It was fate! Krampus and Jack Frost just froze the tag division solid. You’re looking at the future champions!”

MAIN EVENT

Abaddon Vs Big Bad Wolf Vs Robin Hood
Referee: “Honest” Abe
Commentary: KC Rogers & Alton Bell

KC ROGERS: “This is it—the Northern Lights Title is on the line! Three of NPCW’s most dangerous forces collide: the unholy juggernaut and current champion Abaddon, the brutal predator Big Bad Wolf, and the cunning crusader Robin Hood!”

ALTON BELL: “Oh, come on KC. This isn’t even fair to Robin Hood. You’ve got a war machine and a wrecking beast. It’s like throwing a bow and arrow into a demolition derby!”

Opening Chaos – Skill Meets Savagery

The first few minutes set the tone—Robin Hood and Abaddon trade heavy strikes, with Robin landing a picture-perfect DDT and a stiff stunner (Arrow’d End), while Abaddon fires back with a Fiendish Strike and a Hellbreaker Backbreaker.

KC: “You can see the strategy already—Robin Hood’s going for precision, while Abaddon wants to bend bones.”

ALTON: “Robin’s already lucky to be breathing after that Hellbreaker. And wait—here comes the Wolf!”

Big Bad Wolf bursts in by minute 5, pancaking Abaddon with a devastating Powerslam and later a Lupine Lariat that sends shockwaves.

No Alliances, No Mercy

The middle stretch is a brutal rotation of dominance:

  • Robin hits a Senton, Pumphandle Brainbusters, and a Package Piledriver

  • Wolf nails Savage Spears and Abdominal Stretches

  • Abaddon drops suplexes, Netherstrikes, and a terrifying ABADDON’S FURY (F-5)

KC: “Robin Hood’s not backing down—he’s taking it right to both monsters!”

ALTON: “And they’re making him pay for it. Look at that teamwork—yes, it’s a triple threat, but Abaddon and Wolf smell blood!”

Unholy Alliance – Temporary Teamwork

At minute 13, Abaddon and Big Bad Wolf double-team Robin Hood in chilling harmony:

  • Abaddon lands Hell’s Fury: a triple non-release powerbomb

  • Wolf locks in the Abdominal Stretch

  • But Robin still lands a Brainbuster in defiance!

KC: “That might’ve been his last gasp! He’s survived two-on-one—but how much more can he take?”

ALTON: “You don’t survive Abaddon. You just delay the inevitable.”

Endgame – The Grip of the Damned

After exchanging spears and kneelifts with Big Bad Wolf, Abaddon unleashes his finisher: the DEMONIC GRIP—a soul-sapping hold that drops even the mightiest to their knees.

KC: “No—he’s locked it in! Big Bad Wolf is trapped—nowhere to go!”

ALTON: “Oh YES! There it is—tap out, Wolf! TAP OUT! ABADDON CLAIMS THE NORTH!”

Big Bad Wolf submits.

WINNER: ABADDON via Submission (DEMONIC GRIP on Big Bad Wolf)

KC: “What a war! Robin Hood fought with fire, Wolf tore through bodies, but in the end... it’s the monster who stands tall.”

ALTON: “All hail the abyss! Abaddon retained the Northern Lights Championship—and the Age of Darkness just got a whole lot colder!”

Post-Match Notes:

  • Abaddon looks nearly unstoppable—now holding major gold.

  • Big Bad Wolf, stunned by the submission, may have just slipped down the ladder.

  • Robin Hood, though not pinned or submitted, put on a gutsy showing—and might demand a one-on-one rematch.

CLOSING

KC ROGERS: “What a spectacular night here at Maple Leaf Mayhem! The fireworks weren’t just outside—they were flying in that ring from the opening bell to the final submission!”

ALTON BELL: “A night of Canadian chaos, controversy, and carnage—and I loved every second of it. This is how you celebrate Canada Day, NPCW style!”

KC: “Let’s run down what this night meant, because the fallout is massive. First off—Santa Claus and Frankenstein’s Monster tore into each other, and if anyone thought this feud was over? Think again.”

ALTON: “Santa better start wishing for backup on his Christmas list—Frankenstein’s Monster is done playing games, and he wants to end the myth once and for all.”

KC: “In the tag scene, the Queens of Punishment sent a chilling message—they are still in the hunt for the North Star Tag Team Titles, and the Blonde Bombshells better keep looking over their shoulders.”

ALTON: “Goldie and her crew are standing in the middle of a storm. The Queens are disciplined, dangerous, and just plain mean.”

KC: “And as for the Queen of the North Championship—that picture is getting crowded. Wicked Witch wants redemption, Mrs. Claus just proved she can win big, and Lilith is lurking, ready to strike.”

ALTON: “Goldie Locks might be holding the title, but she’s surrounded by a rogues’ gallery of future queens—and any one of them could snatch that crown in an instant.”

KC: “Meanwhile, the Demonic Legion is on a warpath. With another dominant tag win, Krampus and Jack Frost are crushing their way through NPCW—and without Paul Heyman, it’s hard to see Snake Pit surviving much longer.”

ALTON: “They’re lost without their handler. Krampus is chaos incarnate. Frost is colder than the Yukon in January. This Legion isn’t just winning—they’re conquering.”

KC: “And let’s talk about our main event—what a finish! Abaddon didn’t just win the Northern Lights Title match—he cemented his dominance, making Big Bad Wolf submit and outlasting Robin Hood to prove he’s the true terror of that division.”

ALTON: “He didn’t squeak it out—he claimed it. That title is locked in the darkness now, and I wouldn’t be surprised if no one ever gets it back.”

KC: “What a night, what a show! But don’t forget—the action rolls on! Our partners at HCW are bringing the Meltdown Pay-Per-View this July 4th. Explosions, grudges, and top-tier brawling—it’s the perfect way to keep the heat of summer burning!”

ALTON: “Fireworks in the States, but brutality in the ring. You do not want to miss HCW Meltdown!”

KC: “For everyone here at NPCW, thanks for spending your Canada Day with us at Maple Leaf Mayhem! I’m KC Rogers—he’s Alton Bell—stay loud, stay proud, and as always... we’ll see you at ringside!”
