Dave “The Brute” Kent’s Brutally Honest Preview of Nightmare at the North Pole 2025

Dave “The Brute” Kent’s Brutally Honest Preview

By Dave “The Brute” Kent

Nightmare at the North Pole used to settle grudges; this year it’s settling scores. With Polar Power melting into chaos, Northern Belles soaked in drama, and Chill Factor teetering on a full-blown supernatural incident, both nights of this event are stacked thicker than Yeti’s neck.

Time for The Brute’s brutally honest breakdown.

❄ NIGHT 1 PREVIEW ❄

Bella Aurelia vs Ursa Titania

Bella and Ursa used to be Beauty and the Beast — now they’re just the scorched earth left behind. Titania turned on Bella after their losing streak and hasn’t looked back, fighting like she wants to erase her ex-partner’s existence. Bella better come in fierce; if she comes in glowing and hopeful, Ursa’s going to smash that shine right out of her.

Negropolis vs Sandman

Negropolis has charisma, atmosphere, and spooky swagger… but none of that matters when Sandman decides it’s bedtime. Sandman has quietly become one of NPCW’s most brutally efficient workers. If Negropolis doesn’t stop brooding and start swinging, he’s going to be a gothic stain on the mat.

Polar Bears vs River Reapers (Huck Finn & Tom Sawyer)

Polar Bears suddenly remember they’re monstrous and dangerous again. Meanwhile, Huck and Tom fight like they’re daring each other to do something stupid — entertaining, but not exactly strategic. The Reapers need focus; the Bears need only to keep mauling.

Crimson Vane vs Moonshadow

Vane is still burning over her Northern Belles loss, but emotional wildfire tends to burn her more than her opponents. Moonshadow keeps rising, quiet but deadly. If Vane loses her cool — which is basically her trademark — Moonshadow walks out with the statement victory.

Robin Hood, Friar Tuck & Little John vs Jack Frost, Abaddon & Mystery Partner

Robin Hood’s crew has teamwork and charm, but Frost and Abaddon have venom — and probably a partner with even worse intentions. If the surprise third man is anyone aligned with darkness, medieval math says the Merry Band is about to get clobbered.

Northern Lights Championship

Champion Rich Athlete vs Van Helsing
Rich Athlete isn’t preparing for a title defense — he’s prepping for a one-man fashion show. He’ll strut out dripping in gold, waving champagne, and reminding everyone they’re “privileged” just to breathe the same air. Van Helsing, meanwhile, isn’t impressed by money or robes; he’s hunting a predator, and Athlete’s arrogance makes him an easy target. If Rich spends more time posing than punching, Van Helsing walks out with the belt while Athlete whines about “poor people luck.”

North Star Tag Team Championship

Champions Blonde Bombshells (Dorothy & Alice) vs Mrs. Claus & Pearl
The Bombshells have crisp teamwork, great pacing, and the best timing in the division. Mrs. Claus and Pearl have heart, guts, and holiday magic behind them — but that doesn’t win titles by itself. Champs are favored unless nostalgia sneaks in and steals the room.

MAIN EVENT – North Pole Championship

Champion Mean Jack Mason vs Yeti
Mason’s been a raging, violent storm lately — but Yeti is a full-blown blizzard. Mason’s confidence is sky-high, maybe too high, especially with the Horde’s internal cracks widening. If he slips even once, Yeti is taking that belt and Mason can start blaming “backstage politics” by sunrise.

❄ NIGHT 2 PREVIEW ❄

Snow White vs Luciana Albano

Snow White is popular but still needs that killer instinct. Luciana has grit and talent but lacks big-match experience. Someone has to step up; someone has to swing harder. Right now it’s a coin flip.

WARGAMES MATCH

King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawain, Sir Galahad & Prince Charming
vs
Frankenstein’s Monster, Kong, Ogre, Dragon King & Black Knight
Camelot has the story, the honor, the fanfare… and absolutely none of the mass. The monster squad is basically a walking natural disaster. Arthur better have Merlin hiding under his cloak, or this ends with Camelot getting shoveled out of the double cage.

Grimm Sisters vs Penny Coppersnap & Sorina

The Grimm Sisters are ascending fast and finally wrestling like they believe it. Penny and Sorina are exciting but reactive — and if you’re reacting to the Grimms, you’re already losing. If Penny doesn’t get unpredictable early, this ends in a hurry.

Marcus the Beastmaster vs Big Bad Wolf

This one is personal. Marcus wants to rip Wolf apart for betraying Yeti and the Horde. Wolf is naturally vicious; Marcus is a straight-up brawler with fists like sledgehammers. This isn’t technical — this is two animals fighting in the woods with cameras rolling.

Universal Championship

Champion Mean Jack Mason vs Krampus
Mason pulling double duty is wild enough — doing it against Krampus is borderline suicidal. Krampus feeds on chaos and Mason’s life is one long buffet. If fatigue hits the champ early, the Universal Title is going back to the underworld.

Queen of North Championship

Champion Lilith vs Goldie Locks
Lilith’s grip over the division is ironclad and unsettling. Goldie has momentum but she hasn’t faced anything like this witchcraft-fueled wrath. If Lilith actually respects her? Goldie has a shot. If Lilith doesn’t? Expect a magically enhanced beatdown.

NPCW Tag Team Championship

Guiding Force (Kris Kringle & Rudolph) vs The Beasts
This rematch depends entirely on which Beasts show up. If the ferocious, wild, dominant Beasts storm the ring, this becomes a war. If the subdued, inconsistent version shows up? Guiding Force retains without breaking a sweat. Kris and Rudolph are steady — the Beasts are the variable that might decide everything.

Loser Must Retire – Best 2 of 3 Falls

Santa Claus vs Sinister Klaus
Two Clauses enter — one Claus leaves. Sinister Klaus is hot, vicious, and fully in his villain era. Santa is fueled by heart, legacy, and fan sorrow. This will be emotional, messy, dramatic, and almost certainly riddled with interference. Retirement matches aren’t clean — this one won’t even pretend.

FINAL BRUTE TAKE

Night 1 sets the table. Night 2 flips it over.
If this show delivers even half of its potential, NPCW walks into the new year transformed — one way or another.
