Dark Fable Episode 005

Aired - February 20, 2026

SHOW OPENING

(Black screen. The sound of a heavy book opening. A candle ignites. Ink creeps across parchment like it’s alive.)
(A choir hums low. A single bell tolls.)

Voice-over (smooth, ominous):
“Once upon a time… they told you monsters weren’t real.”
(beat)
“Here… they win matches.”

(The words burn into the screen like a cursed fairytale title card.)
NPCW: DARK FABLE

Voice-over:
“This is the MYTHIC Division.”
“Welcome… to DARK FABLE.”

SIGNATURE MONTAGE

1) Universal Tag Champions — Hans Trapp & Knecht Ruprecht

(Torchlight. Two silhouettes. Titles glint like weapons.)
Hans Trapp and Knecht Ruprecht stalk to the ring—then a violent cut: a ruthless, synchronized finish. One holds the opponent in place; the other strikes like judgment. They raise the belts slowly, not celebrating—claiming.

2) Sandman

(An hourglass spills sand upward.)
Sandman snaps into motion—cold precision. A sudden, nightmare-fast impact drops his opponent. He stands still as the camera jitters, like reality itself is afraid to focus on him.

3) Frankenstein’s Monster

(Lightning flash. Thunder hit.)
Frankenstein’s Monster absorbs shots that should end anyone—then surges forward and crushes a foe with a catastrophic slam. The ring shakes. The crowd reacts like they’ve seen a myth step off the page.

4) Robin Hood

(A streak like an arrow across the screen transitions the shot.)
Robin Hood slips a strike by inches and counters with surgical speed—clean, heroic, efficient. He points straight into the hard cam, as if calling his next target.

5) Hansel

(Breadcrumbs scatter across the canvas—then dissolve into smoke.)
Hansel fights like someone who learned survival the hard way—quick hands, sharper instincts. A sudden finishing burst flips the match in a heartbeat.

6) Snow White

(Soft light… then a hard snap to impact.)
Snow White shows heart and grit—turning a moment of danger into a clean counter and decisive strike. The fairy tale isn’t fragile here. It fights.

7) Lady Frost, Snow Queen

(Sound drops out. Breath fogs the air.)
Lady Frost moves with chilling control—elegant, merciless. A slick takedown into a finishing hold—she tightens it slowly, eyes calm as winter.

8) Gretel

(A childlike melody warps into something darker.)
Gretel explodes with intensity—fast, determined, ruthless when it counts. She drives through a final sequence like she’s escaping a trap.

(Choir rises. War drums join. The arena looks like a cathedral of combat under dark lighting.)

Voice-over:
“This isn’t the North.”
“This isn’t the light.”
“In DARK FABLE… the story doesn’t end happily.”
(beat)
“It ends… with a winner.”

“This… is DARK FABLE.”

CROWD SHOT AND WELCOMING

Torchlight flickers along the stone ramparts of Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum. The air hums with anticipation — not joy, not celebration — but expectation.

The crowd is divided not by noise… but by allegiance.

Banners bearing the sigil of King Arthur and the Champions of Camelot rise in unified rows. Steel crests glint beneath the lights as fans chant in disciplined rhythm, saluting the crown as if it were still law.

Across the arena, green and gold scarves wave wildly for Robin Hood — the outlaw king of the common cause. The chant for him is not orderly. It is defiant.

Clusters of supporters dressed in deep forest tones lift handmade lanterns for Maid Marion and Lark of Sherwood, their voices raised in fierce, loyal harmony — not pleading for victory, but demanding justice.

A darker pocket of the arena roars with guttural reverence for Frankenstein’s Monster. No pageantry. No poetry. Just thunderous stomps that shake the floor in brutal rhythm.

And above them all — purple and black banners ripple like torn standards of a fallen empire — the supporters of Mordred. They do not chant loudly. They do not cheer wildly. They raise their fists and simply declare:

“Betrayer. King.”

The camera settles at the commentary desk.

Julian Ward:
“Last week, the field narrowed. Not gently. Not cleanly. But decisively.”

Brick Brody:
“Yeah. People stopped talkin’ about destiny and started dealin’ with reality.”

Julian Ward:
“Heracles endured a storm in the Fatal Four-Way qualifier. Sandman, Hansel, Sir Lancelot — all fell away. Strength and survival carried him into the Eternal Flame.”

Brick Brody:
“Biggest engine in the fight. When the chaos cleared, he was still standin’. That’s how you qualify.”

Julian Ward:
“Maid Marion fought through the shadow of Lord Kurogami and defeated Yurei Rinn. Not with spectacle. With persistence.”

Brick Brody:
“She kicked the fear outta that ring. Simple as that.”

Julian Ward:
“Lady Frost halted Lark of Sherwood — calculated interference, cold execution. Momentum stolen in seconds.”

Brick Brody:
“Stolen? No. Taken. If you don’t protect yourself, that’s on you.”

Julian Ward:
“The Merry Band and the Dread Knights battled for thirty minutes. Neither side yielded. A time-limit draw leaves that conflict unresolved.”

Brick Brody:
“That wasn’t a draw. That was two teams too stubborn to die.”

Julian Ward:
“Sir Agravaine forced Prince Charming to submit. Technique over charisma. Control over confidence.”

Brick Brody:
“He bent him until he broke. That’s how fire’s supposed to work.”

Julian Ward:
“And in the main event — the Mythic Crown Tournament shifted permanently. King Arthur fell once more to Frankenstein’s Monster.”

Brick Brody:
“Distraction. Roll-up. Three count. That’s all it takes.”

Julian Ward:
“Frankenstein’s Monster advances to Oathbound.”

Brick Brody:
“And Mordred’s waiting.”

Julian Ward:
“The Mythic Crown Final is now set. Mordred versus Frankenstein’s Monster.”

Brick Brody:
“No heroes. No redemption. Just power.”

Julian Ward:
“And with one Eternal Flame spot still unclaimed… the trials continue.”

TONIGHT ON DARK FABLE

Julian Ward:
“The final qualifier for the Eternal Flame Battle Royal — Scarecrow versus Ares. Chaos meets war.”

Brick Brody:
“Good. Let the scare tactic try to survive an actual god of battle.”

Julian Ward:
“A Queen of the North Title Match Qualifier — Snow White versus Lady Guinevere. The winner challenges Lilith at Oathbound.”

Brick Brody:
“One fights for purity. One fights for legacy. Doesn’t matter. Lilith’s waiting.”

Julian Ward:
“Maid Marion and Lark of Sherwood face Yurei Rinn and Athena.”

Brick Brody:
“That’s grace versus discipline. Forest rebels against cold steel.”

Julian Ward:
“The Round Table Knights — Gawain, Galahad, and Lancelot — stand against Monster’s Bash: Kong, Ogre, and Frankenstein’s Monster.”

Brick Brody:
“Knights versus nightmares. I know which side I’d put money on.”

Julian Ward:
“Lion faces Heracles in a test of raw strength and mythic pride.”

Brick Brody:
“That one’s going to hurt.”

Julian Ward:
“And in our Main Event — The outlaw Robin Hood stands beside royalty. Robin Hood and King Arthur versus Sandman and The Huntsman.”

Brick Brody:
“An outlaw and a king trying to coexist? That’s not a team — that’s a civil war waiting to happen.”

OATHBOUND – SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22

The torchlights dim slightly as Julian’s voice lowers.

Julian Ward:
“On Sunday, Oathbound reshapes the Mythic Division.”

Brick Brody:
“Or burns it down.”

Julian Ward:
“The Eternal Flame Battle Royal will crown the first Eternal Flame Champion.”

Brick Brody:
“Twenty bodies. One survivor. That’s my kind of coronation.”

Julian Ward:
“The North Star Tag Titles — Blonde Bombshells defend against the Queens of Despair. No disqualifications. No countouts.”

Brick Brody:
“Finally. A rule set that makes sense.”

Julian Ward:
“The NPCW Universal Tag Champions — Hans Trapp and Knecht Ruprecht defend against Friar Tuck and Little John.”

Brick Brody:
“Faith versus fear. I’m betting on fear.”

Julian Ward:
“Virtuous Blades versus the Enforcers of Monster’s Bash.”

Brick Brody:
“Steel and scars. That’s going to leave a mark.”

Julian Ward:
“The Queen of the North Championship — Lilith defends against either Snow White… or Lady Guinevere.”

Brick Brody:
“Lilith doesn’t defend. She devours.”

A pause.

Julian Ward:
“And in the Mythic Crown Title Tournament Final… Mordred faces Frankenstein’s Monster.”

The crowd erupts in a mixed roar of hatred and admiration.

Brick Brody:
“Two villains. No heroes. Just power.”

Julian Ward:
“Darkness will reign supreme over the Mythic Division that night. The only question… is which shadow becomes the throne.”

Brick chuckles low.

Brick Brody:
“Good. Heroes are overrated.”

Julian looks directly into the camera.

Julian Ward:
“Oathbound is not about celebration. It is about reckoning.”

The torches flare higher.

Julian Ward:
“And it begins tonight.”

MATCH 1

Entrances & Introductions

Louie Linville stands centered. Hands clasped. Voice ceremonial.

Louie Linville:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall…”
“The winner will claim the final entry into the Eternal Flame Championship Battle Royal at Oathbound.”

A low creaking wind fills the arena. Lantern light flickers across the stage.

Louie Linville:
“From the fields where fear grows tall… the whisper in the wheat… the architect of panic… SCARECROW.”

The lights dim to a sickly amber. Scarecrow emerges slowly, arms loose at his sides, head tilted unnaturally. His movements are uneven — deliberate. He does not acknowledge the crowd. He studies the ring like soil.

Julian Ward (quoted): “Fear rarely rushes.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “It doesn’t have to.”

Thunder cracks.

Louie Linville:
“Accompanied by Zeus… from the battlefields of Olympus… the god of war… ARES!”

War drums pound. Ares storms onto the stage, bronze armor gleaming beneath lightning flashes. Zeus follows, composed and imposing, eyes fixed forward. Ares raises his fists toward the rafters as sparks burst behind him.

Julian Ward (quoted): “War answers fear.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “Let’s see which one survives.”

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Ares attempts an early Elbow Drop, but Scarecrow twists away, reversing the impact. Scarecrow surges up with a crushing Shoulder Block that drives Ares backward.

Julian Ward: “Scarecrow absorbs the first strike and answers immediately.”
Brick Brody: “He’s not intimidated by armor.”

Minute 2

Scarecrow cinches in a grinding Side Chinlock, wrenching Ares downward and forcing him to fight from underneath.

Julian Ward: “Control through suffocation.”
Brick Brody: “Make the war god breathe wrong.”

Minute 3

Ares breaks free and fires a brutal Forearm Smash across Scarecrow’s jaw, snapping his head sideways.

Julian Ward: “Ares reminds him — this is a battlefield.”
Brick Brody: “That’s war talking.”

Minute 4

Scarecrow rebounds, hoisting Ares high and slamming him down with a punishing Back Body Drop.

Julian Ward: “Elevation and impact.”
Brick Brody: “He’s tossing a god around.”

Minute 5

Scarecrow lifts Ares into the Field Spinner — the Airplane Spin — disorienting him before dropping him hard to the canvas.

Scarecrow hooks the leg — but Ares reverses into a sudden counter-cover.

One… Two…
Scarecrow kicks out.

Julian Ward: “A flash of survival from Ares.”
Brick Brody: “That’s instinct.”

Minute 6

Scarecrow traps Ares again in a Side Chinlock, grinding him down with relentless pressure.

Julian Ward: “Back to control.”
Brick Brody: “He’s draining him.”

Minute 7

Zeus steps forward at ringside — lightning flashes — interference looming.

Scarecrow spins and neutralizes the distraction instantly. He storms forward and crushes Ares with a devastating Haymaker Lariat.

Julian Ward: “The interference fails.”
Brick Brody: “Scarecrow saw it coming.”

Minute 8

Scarecrow launches Ares with another Back Body Drop — but Ares answers on the rebound with a crushing Short Arm Clothesline, nearly turning Scarecrow inside out.

Julian Ward: “Simultaneous destruction.”
Brick Brody: “Now it’s ugly.”

Minute 9

Scarecrow charges again — another Haymaker Lariat connects clean. He hooks the leg.

One… Two…
Ares kicks out.

Julian Ward: “Still alive.”
Brick Brody: “War gods don’t quit easy.”

Minute 10

Ares explodes upward with a thunderous Power Bomb, driving Scarecrow into the mat with catastrophic force.

Julian Ward: “That may have shifted everything.”
Brick Brody: “That’s divine violence.”

Minute 11

Scarecrow refuses to fold. He grabs Ares’ arm, wrenches it down into a vicious Power Arm Bar, torquing with ruthless precision. Ares struggles — reaches — fades.

Scarecrow transitions seamlessly into the cover.

One…
Two…
Three.

Julian Ward:
“Scarecrow endures the storm and secures the final place in the Eternal Flame Battle Royal.”

Brick Brody:
“He didn’t overpower Ares. He broke him down.”

Julian Ward:
“The field is now complete. Ten competitors. One flame.”

SCARECROW DEFEATS ARES VIA PINFALL AFTER THE POWER ARM BAR (11:00)

Scarecrow claims the 10th and final spot in the Eternal Flame Championship Battle Royal at Oathbound.

BEHIND THE CURTAIN INTERLUDE - WHERE’S HANA?

Control Booth

Live during Match 1 (Scarecrow vs. Ares)

The control booth overlooks the arena from behind tinted glass. Monitors flicker with split-screen feeds: hard cam, corner cam, crowd shot, commentary desk.

Scarecrow locks in the Power Arm Bar on one screen.

Inside the booth — tension, but professional tension.

Johnny Michaels stands at the center console, headset on, flipping between feeds.

Johnny Michaels:
“Camera two tight on the hold… stay there… stay there… good. Roll lower third for Eternal Flame graphic.”

He adjusts his mic slightly.

“Okay, after the bell we’re going to Segment 4. Is Hana in position for Snow White?”

A production assistant checks her tablet.

A pause.

Another glance.

“…We can’t find her.”

Johnny stops mid-adjustment.

“What do you mean you can’t find her?”

“She checked in earlier. She’s not in the interview corridor. Not in makeup. Not in the locker hallway.”

Johnny exhales sharply.

“Great. Fantastic. That’s live television.”

The door opens.

Alton Bell steps into the booth.

Still. Composed. Unsettling.

“Is there a problem?”

Johnny removes one side of his headset.

“Hana’s up next for the Snow White interview. She’s not in position.”

Alton’s eyes narrow slightly.

“Not in position.”

He looks around the booth — each staff member straightens instinctively.

“Has anyone seen Ms. Nakamura in the last fifteen minutes?”

No one answers.

One assistant shakes their head.

Alton steps toward the glass overlooking the arena.

His tone remains measured.

“We do not miss segments.”

Johnny nods.

“We’ve got Alexandra Jones nearby.”

Alton turns.

“Where?”

On a monitor — Alexandra Jones exits a dressing room corridor.

Alton presses the intercom.

“Alexandra.”

She pauses mid-step and looks up at a nearby camera.

“Yes?”

“Change of assignment. You are conducting the Snow White interview.”

A small flicker of surprise crosses her face — but she nods immediately.

“Understood.”

Alton removes his hand from the console.

“Find Ms. Nakamura.”

No raised voice.

No anger.

Just instruction.

The bell rings for the finish of Match 1.

Cut to Interview..

THE FAIREST CHALLENGE

The camera fades in backstage. Stone walls. Low torchlight. The atmosphere remains heavy.

Alexandra Jones stands centered, poised but alert.

To her right stands Snow White — hands clasped loosely in front of her, expression calm, but not soft. Focused.

Alexandra Jones:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m joined by Snow White. Tonight, you face Lady Guinevere in a Queen of the North Championship Qualifier. The winner challenges Lilith at Oathbound.”

She turns slightly toward Snow.

“Snow… you already had the title match secured. Why put it on the line?”

Snow White exhales slowly. No hesitation.

Snow White:
“Because it was the right thing to do.”

A small pause.

“Guinevere has stood in battle. She has carried responsibility the same way I have. When the opportunity came, I could have protected my position.”

Her eyes steady.

“But protection is not the same as honor.”

Alexandra Jones:
“You respect her.”

Snow White:
“Yes.”

A firm nod.

“I respect her strength. I respect her resolve. And if I am going to stand across from Lilith at Oathbound, I will do so without doubt.”

She looks directly into the camera.

“If I cannot defeat a queen tonight… I have no claim to challenge one.”

A slow, mocking clap echoes from off-camera.

The frame widens.

Lilith steps into view — composed, predatory, amused.

Lilith:
“How noble.”

She circles slightly, not touching Snow — but invading her space.

“You see this, Alexandra? This is why she will never be champion.”

Snow does not move.

Lilith tilts her head.

“You call it fairness. I call it fear disguised as virtue.”

She steps closer.

“A true queen does not offer opportunity. She takes it. Guards it. Dares anyone to try and steal it.”

A faint smile.

“You handed your advantage away because you needed validation.”

Snow White:
“I needed certainty.”

Lilith chuckles.

“You needed reassurance.”

Her voice lowers.

“That is weakness. And weakness does not survive me.”

The air tightens.

A new presence enters the frame.

Lady Guinevere steps in — regal, composed, eyes sharp.

She looks first at Snow. Then at Lilith.

Lady Guinevere:
“I did not ask for charity.”

Her voice is steady — firm, not hostile.

“But I appreciate the respect.”

She turns fully to Snow.

“You gave me a fair path. And I will walk it.”

A beat.

“But do not mistake gratitude for restraint.”

Her gaze sharpens.

“We are friends. We have stood on the same side of battle.”

She steps closer.

“Tonight, that does not matter.”

Lilith watches, amused.

Guinevere’s chin lifts.

“There is only one true queen.”

She looks directly at Snow.

“And I intend for it to be me.”

Snow White nods once.

No anger. No offense.

Only resolve.

Snow White:
“Then let the better queen stand.”

Lilith smirks.

Lilith:
“Oh, I will.”

She steps back into shadow.

Guinevere holds Snow’s gaze a moment longer.

No handshake. No embrace.

Just acknowledgment.

Alexandra carefully re-centers herself.

Alexandra Jones:
“Snow White. Lady Guinevere. The stakes are clear.”

She looks toward the camera.

“Tonight, one woman moves closer to Oathbound. The other walks away.”

The camera lingers.

Snow — unwavering.
Guinevere — resolute.
Lilith — watching from the shadows.

Fade out.

MATCH 2

Entrances & Introductions

Louie Linville stands centered. Voice measured. Ritual-bound.

Louie Linville:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall…”
“The winner will challenge Lilith for the Queen of the North Championship at Oathbound.”

Soft white light fills the stage.

Louie Linville:
“From a kingdom that chose virtue over fear… resilient, unwavering… SNOOOOW WHIIIIITE!”

Snow White emerges without theatrics. No smile. No gesture. She walks with purpose — not to prove purity, but to test it.

Julian Ward (quoted): “Snow White walks into this knowing what it costs.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “Hope’s expensive.”

Regal horns echo through the coliseum.

Louie Linville:
“Accompanied by Merlin… the noble blade of Camelot… LADY GUINEVERE!”

Guinevere steps through golden light, posture flawless. Merlin follows, staff grounded, expression unreadable.

Julian Ward (quoted): “Guinevere does not chase crowns. She claims them.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “Tonight she better.”

Lilith’s music cuts through the air.

She walks to commentary without acknowledging either competitor and takes a seat between Julian and Brick.

Lilith:
“Begin.”

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Merlin suddenly steps forward at ringside, consulting his crystal ball — a subtle diversion. Snow White is momentarily disoriented.

Julian Ward: “Merlin inserts himself immediately.”
Brick Brody: “Guidance? Or manipulation?”
Lilith: “Excuses already.”

Minute 2

Lady Guinevere capitalizes, lifting Snow White and driving her down with a thunderous Alabama Slam.

Julian Ward: “Guinevere wastes no opening.”
Brick Brody: “She hit that like a declaration.”
Lilith: “This is what strength looks like.”

Minute 3

Snow White counters with an Enchanted Whirl — a Tornado DDT — snapping Guinevere to the mat. Merlin again gestures from ringside, whispering guidance.

Julian Ward: “Snow responds with precision.”
Brick Brody: “She’s not rattled.”
Lilith: “Yet.”

Minute 4

Snow surges forward with the Thorn Crown Driver — a brutal Spike DDT — planting Guinevere hard.

Julian Ward: “Impact shifts momentum.”
Brick Brody: “That one hurt.”
Lilith: “Still not enough.”

Minute 5

Merlin throws flash powder as distraction. Snow White shields her eyes too late. Guinevere regains advantage.

Julian Ward: “Another outside influence.”
Brick Brody: “Merlin’s earning his paycheck.”
Lilith: “If she can’t handle distraction, she can’t handle me.”

Minute 6

Snow White snaps back with the Gilded Grip — arm drag into arm bar — wrenching Guinevere down.

Julian Ward: “Control regained.”
Brick Brody: “She keeps finding space.”
Lilith: “Temporary.”

Minute 7

Snow hoists Guinevere into the Kiss of Life — bridging dragon suplex.

Julian Ward: “Bridged perfectly!”
Brick Brody: “That’s championship instinct.”
Lilith: “It won’t last.”

Minute 8

Guinevere attempts a Snap DDT — Snow neutralizes it cleanly.

Julian Ward: “Defense sharpens.”
Brick Brody: “Both women adjusting.”
Lilith: “Guinevere hesitated.”

Minute 9

Guinevere launches a Release German Suplex — Snow reverses mid-motion and drives her down with Witch’s Justice — the Modified Gory Bomb.

Julian Ward: “That counter was surgical.”
Brick Brody: “She turned momentum inside out.”
Lilith: “Hmph.”

Minute 10

Both surge at once. Snow launches a Glass Coffin Dive to the outside. Guinevere answers moments later with a Delayed Fisherman Suplex back inside.

Guinevere stares at Lilith from the outside before reentering the ring.

Julian Ward: “A moment of pride.”
Brick Brody: “Wrong time for it.”
Lilith: “She looks at me like I’m worried.”

Guinevere attempts the pin.

One… Two…
Snow kicks out.

Minute 11

Snow White explodes upward with Happily Never After — the Super Swinging Neckbreaker. Guinevere answers with a Snap DDT in desperation.

Snow lunges into the cover.

One…
Two…
Three.

Julian Ward:
“Snow White earns her place. Virtue meets power at Oathbound.”

Brick Brody:
“She didn’t just survive. She finished.”

Julian Ward:
“The Queen of the North Championship will be contested by two opposing philosophies.”

SNOW WHITE DEFEATS LADY GUINEVERE VIA PINFALL WITH HAPPILY NEVER AFTER (11:00)

Snow White advances to face Lilith at Oathbound.

Snow White rises slowly.

Lilith stands from commentary.

They lock eyes across the ring.

No words.

Only promise.

The camera lingers.

Fade.

MATCH 3

Entrances & Introductions

Louie Linville stands centered in the ring.

Louie Linville:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall…”

He turns toward the stage.

“Representing Sherwood… LARK OF SHERWOOD… and MAAAAID MARION!”

Forest-toned light floods the ramp. Lark bursts out first — kinetic, eyes scanning. Marion follows, composed and focused. They do not pose. They enter.

Julian Ward (quoted): “Sherwood fights as one.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “That matters in tag matches.”

The lights dim.

“Accompanied by Lord Kurogami… YUREI RINN… and her partner… ATHENA!”

Yurei steps through the shadows first — calm, controlled. Athena follows — rigid, disciplined. Zeus stands near the stage. Kurogami remains at ringside.

Yurei and Athena do not acknowledge each other.

Julian Ward (quoted): “An uneasy alliance.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “Uneasy cracks.”

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Lark charges and drives Athena down with a Chokeslam.

Julian Ward: “Lark asserts control immediately.”
Brick Brody: “That’s how you test a partnership.”

Double Chickenwing Facebuster from Lark.
Surprise Small Package from Marion.

Brick Brody: “She’s not waiting for help.”

Yurei remains on the apron, watching.

Minute 3

Double team continues.
Sitout Gourdbuster from Lark.
Victory Roll from Marion.

Athena fires back with the Owl Wing Backbreaker.

Julian Ward: “Athena absorbs and responds.”
Brick Brody: “But she’s fighting alone.”

Yurei offers no immediate tag.

Minute 4

Lark isolates Athena and hits another Sitout Gourdbuster.

Julian Ward: “Sherwood keeps pressure on Athena.”
Brick Brody: “They’ve identified the weak seam.”

Minute 5

Single Leg Dropkick from Lark.

Athena stumbles toward her corner — slight hesitation before tagging.

Julian Ward: “There’s hesitation between them.”
Brick Brody: “That second costs you.”

Minute 6

Lark hits another Dropkick.
Athena counters with Gorgon Clutch.

Both teams tag — Marion and Yurei enter.

Julian Ward: “Momentum shifts through the tag.”
Brick Brody: “Let’s see if this team actually functions.”

Minute 7

Marion lands a Low-Angle Front Dropkick on Yurei.
Tag back to Lark.

Julian Ward: “Clean rotation from Sherwood.”
Brick Brody: “That’s rhythm.”

Julian Ward: “Control interrupted by ego.”
Brick Brody: “That’s not teamwork.”

Minute 14

Lark attempts another Dropkick.
Athena neutralizes again.

Julian Ward: “Athena stabilizes the exchange.”
Brick Brody: “But the tension’s visible.”

Minute 15

Sherwood double teams.
Double Chickenwing Facebuster from Lark.
Lou Thesz Press from Marion.

Athena answers with Gorgon Clutch.

Julian Ward: “Sherwood’s cohesion returns.”
Brick Brody: “They move like partners.”

Minute 16

Athena absorbs it.

Julian Ward: “Sherwood isolates Athena again.”
Brick Brody: “They smell the finish.”

Yurei reaches for the tag. Athena hesitates.

Minute 21

Athena cannot escape.

Julian Ward: “Athena is stranded.”
Brick Brody: “Because her partner doesn’t trust her.”

Marion hooks the leg.

One…
Two…

Julian Ward:
“Sherwood’s unity prevails over division.”

Brick Brody:
“That wasn’t a loss. That was a fracture.”

Julian Ward:
“Yurei and Athena entered as allies. They leave divided.”

After the bell:

Yurei shouts at Athena.

Sherwood exits together.

The opposition stands fractured.

THEY LIVE TO BRING DESTRUCTION

Pre-Recorded – Dr. Frankenstein’s Laboratory

Black screen.

A distant hum begins — mechanical, unstable.
Then thunder.

The image flickers into view.

Stone walls. Iron braces. Coils rising toward a vaulted ceiling split by jagged skylights. Rain lashes against the glass above.

At the center of the chamber —

Frankenstein’s Monster is strapped to a reinforced steel table. Thick leather bindings hold wrists and ankles in place. Bolts gleam against pale skin. Wires snake from his chest and temples into towering Tesla coils that crackle with gathering charge.

Around the perimeter stand three silent figures:

Kong — arms folded, breathing heavy.
Ogre — looming, motionless.
Dragon King — eyes narrowed, observing with cold calculation.

They do not speak.

They watch.

At a control console fashioned from brass and bone stands Dr. Frankenstein.

His hands move feverishly across switches and dials. Gauges tremble. Voltage climbs.

The hum becomes a roar.

Dr. Frankenstein (muttering):
“Yes… yes… the heart must not merely beat… it must burn…”

Lightning tears through the ceiling rods.

A bolt slams into the coil.

Another.

The electricity cascades downward — violently — into the Monster’s body.

His back arches against the restraints. Muscles seize. The table rattles under the strain. The chamber floods with blinding white flashes.

The Monster convulses — not in pain — but in awakening.

The leather straps strain.

The lights flicker.

Outside, thunder answers.

The final surge hits.

The chamber goes dark for half a breath.

Then —

The Monster’s chest rises slowly.

Once.

Twice.

His eyes open.

Not confused.

Focused.

Dr. Frankenstein steps into frame, hair wild, coat sparking at the edges.

He rubs his hands together, breathing fast — exhilarated.

He turns toward the camera — eyes wide with manic certainty.

Dr. Frankenstein:
“They live… THEY LIVE… THEY LIVE TO BRING DESTRUCTION!”

Behind him, the Monster slowly sits upright despite the restraints, head turning slightly — deliberate, controlled.

Kong nods once.

Ogre exhales sharply.

Dragon King’s lips curl faintly.

Dr. Frankenstein spreads his arms as lightning flashes behind him.

“At Oathbound… the Mythic Crown will not be claimed by prophecy… or honor… or destiny…”

His grin widens.

“It will be TAKEN.”

He points back at the Monster.

“My creation has endured kings… crushed legends… and survived disruption!”

The Monster tightens his fists. The metal bindings creak.

“At Oathbound… the final experiment concludes.”

His voice lowers — almost reverent.

“The Mythic Crown will belong to Monster’s Bash.”

The Monster stands — snapping one restraint loose with a violent crack.

The lights flicker again.

Dr. Frankenstein laughs — high, unhinged.

The camera slowly pushes in on the Monster’s face.

Still.

Unblinking.

Alive.

Cut to black.

The thunder does not stop.

The screen fades back to the commentary desk.

For a moment, neither man speaks.

Torchlight flickers behind them.

Julian Ward:
“There is a difference between confidence… and obsession.”

He folds his hands calmly.

“Dr. Frankenstein does not believe he is preparing for a match at Oathbound. He believes he is completing an experiment.”

Brick Brody:
“Good.”

He leans back slightly, unimpressed by the theatrics.

“That wasn’t madness. That was preparation.”

Julian Ward:
“The Monster has already defeated King Arthur. He has already reshaped the Mythic Crown Tournament.”

A beat.

“And if what we just witnessed is escalation…”

Brick Brody:
“It is.”

He nods once.

“Mordred wanted reckoning? He’s getting something bigger than a grudge. He’s getting a weapon.”

Julian Ward:
“At Oathbound, the Mythic Crown will be contested by two forces who do not believe in mercy.”

Brick Brody:
“And after that little lightning show?”

A faint smirk.

“I’m not sure mercy would survive the ring.”

Julian looks directly into the camera.

Julian Ward:
“The laboratory may be controlled.”

A pause.

“Oathbound will not be.”

Fade forward to the next trial.

Brick Brody: “That’s strategy.”

Julian Ward:
“The Round Table pressed Monster’s Bash to the brink… but one mistake changed the outcome.”

Brick Brody:

BEHIND THE CURTAIN INTERLUDE - HANA’S WARNING

Backstage Hallway

The corridor is quieter now. Segment 9 has just ended in a draw.

Hana Nakamura steps briskly down the hallway toward the interview area.

She looks composed — but slightly rushed.

She adjusts her earpiece and straightens her blazer.

A production assistant nods to her.

“You’re up next. Tuck and John are ready.”

She smiles politely.

“Thank you.”

Before she can continue — a voice stops her.

“Ms. Nakamura.”

She turns.

Alton Bell stands in the hallway.

Hands folded behind his back.

Composed.

“Sir.”

She bows her head slightly.

“You were unavailable earlier.”

Her posture stiffens.

“Yes. I—”

She hesitates.

“I had a personal emergency.”

Alton studies her carefully.

“In this division… timing is not optional.”

“I understand.”

She bows slightly again.

“It will not happen again.”

Alton steps a half pace closer.

“This is Dark Fable.”

His tone is calm — but heavy.

“Everyone here carries weight.”

A beat.

“You must be where you are expected to be.”

Hana nods, almost too quickly.

“Yes, Mr. Bell.”

Alton holds her gaze a moment longer.

Then nods once.

“See that you are.”

He steps aside.

Hana exhales slowly — regaining composure — then walks toward the interview position for Segment 10.

The camera lingers on her expression just a moment longer than necessary.

MERRY QUEST FOR THE TITLES

The camera fades in backstage beneath stone arches and dim torchlight.

Hana Nakamura stands poised, earnest as always.

To her right — Friar Tuck, calm but intense.
To her left — Little John, arms folded, quiet strength radiating from him.

Hana Nakamura:
“Gentlemen, this Sunday at Oathbound, you challenge Hans Trapp and Knecht Ruprecht for the NPCW Universal Tag Team Championships.”

She nods respectfully.

“You’ve come close before. Against the Polar Bears. Against the Misfits of Mayhem. Against The Beasts.”

A small pause.

“But you have never held tag team gold in NPCW.”

She looks at them carefully.

“What makes this time different?”

Friar Tuck exhales slowly, hands clasped in front of him.

Friar Tuck:
“Experience.”

He nods once.

“When we faced the Polar Bears, we relied on heart.”

A glance toward John.

“When we faced the Misfits, we relied on instinct.”

Another beat.

“When we faced The Beasts… we relied on faith.”

His expression hardens slightly.

“And faith alone is not enough.”

Little John shifts forward, voice low and deliberate.

Little John:
“We learned.”

He doesn’t raise his tone — he doesn’t need to.

“We learned how champions move. How they isolate. How they break rhythm.”

He looks straight into the camera.

“And we learned what it feels like to walk away empty.”

Hana nods, absorbing it.

“But Hans Trapp and Knecht Ruprecht are different.”

Her voice lowers slightly.

“They are ruthless. Calculated. Cold.”

Friar Tuck’s eyes narrow.

Friar Tuck:
“Yes. They are.”

He doesn’t flinch.

“They do not taunt. They do not boast. They do not waste effort.”

He tilts his head slightly.

“They execute.”

Little John steps half a pace closer.

“And so will we.”

A beat.

“We are not chasing gold anymore.”

He gestures subtly toward Tuck.

“We are claiming it.”

Hana leans in slightly.

“You’re facing Grim Tidings — men who thrive in destruction. Does that concern you?”

Friar Tuck smiles faintly — not humor, but clarity.

Friar Tuck:
“It concerns us enough to prepare.”

His voice firms.

“But it does not frighten us.”

Little John nods once.

“We’ve been tested by power. By chaos. By brutality.”

He clenches a fist slowly.

“Grim Tidings brings none of that we haven’t endured.”

Friar Tuck looks directly into the lens.

“At Oathbound, this isn’t about proving we belong.”

His voice steadies.

“It’s about finishing what we started.”

Little John adds quietly:

“And when the bell rings… there will be no close calls.”

Hana takes a breath.

“So Sunday… history changes?”

Friar Tuck answers without hesitation.

“Yes.”

The camera lingers on both men — steady, united, resolute.

Fade out as torchlight flickers behind them.

MAIN EVENT

Entrances & Introductions

Louie Linville stands centered in the ring. The torches burn higher.

Louie Linville:
“The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall…”

The arena dims to a muted blue.

“Introducing first… the team of HUNTSMAN… and SANDMAN!”

Huntsman steps forward first — precise, controlled, predatory. Sandman follows more slowly, rolling his shoulders as if the night already belongs to him. They do not pose. They measure.

Julian Ward (quoted): “Discipline and decay.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “Two men who don’t need to like each other to hurt you.”

The lights shift to gold and forest green.

“Introducing their opponents… first… from Sherwood Forest… the outlaw who refuses the crown… ROBIN HOOD!”

Robin emerges alone first — deliberate stride, chin high, eyes sharp. No smirk tonight. Only intent.

Julian Ward (quoted): “Rebellion without apology.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “He better stay focused. Kings don’t share spotlights.”

The music shifts again — deeper, regal.

“And his partner… from Camelot… the once and future king… KING ARTHUR!”

Arthur steps through the curtain. He does not raise a hand. He does not gesture. He walks forward like a man who understands weight.

Robin and Arthur meet at center stage.

A look.

Not friendship.

Understanding.

They walk to the ring side by side.

Julian Ward (quoted): “An alliance built on necessity.”
Brick Brody (quoted): “Let’s see if it holds under pressure.”

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Arthur and Huntsman collide immediately.

Flowing DDT from Arthur.
Clothesline from Huntsman.

Julian Ward:
“Arthur asserts early control — grounded, efficient — but Huntsman refuses to concede space. This is not spectacle. This is testing the perimeter.”

Brick Brody:
“Huntsman doesn’t get rattled. You hit him, he hits back. That’s balance.”

Arthur tags Robin.

Minute 2

Huntsman slams Robin hard to the mat.

Julian Ward:
“Huntsman identifies the shift immediately — isolate the faster man, remove rhythm.”

Brick Brody:
“Robin fights in bursts. Huntsman fights in patterns.”

Minute 3

Pop-Up Powerbomb from Robin.
Vertical Suplex from Huntsman.

Julian Ward:
“Robin introduces volatility — explosive offense that changes tempo. But Huntsman keeps bringing it back to structure.”

Brick Brody:
“That’s how you slow an outlaw down. You make him wrestle.”

Minute 4

Arrow’d End connects.
Huntsman reverses the pin attempt and nearly steals the victory.

Julian Ward:
“Robin overreaches — and nearly pays for it. That is the danger of momentum without caution.”

Brick Brody:
“That was close. Huntsman almost made the king watch his partner get pinned.”

Minute 5

All four enter.
Package Piledriver. Abdominal Stretch. Spinebuster. Front Kick.

Julian Ward:
“The ring fractures. No alliances now — only collision.”

Brick Brody:
“This is where trust gets tested. Arthur and Robin aren’t smooth yet.”

Minute 6

Robin lands another Pop-Up Powerbomb.
Near fall.

Julian Ward:
“Robin is pushing the pace — trying to end it before the partnership stabilizes against him.”

Brick Brody:
“He doesn’t want this turning into a grind.”

Minute 7

Another Pop-Up Powerbomb.
Tag to Arthur.

Julian Ward:
“And now the king steps back in. The shift is subtle — Robin destabilizes, Arthur consolidates.”

Brick Brody:
“That’s smarter than I expected.”

Minute 8

Merlin distracts with flash powder.
Arthur capitalizes.

Julian Ward:
“Merlin’s presence introduces advantage — though Arthur rarely relies on it.”

Brick Brody:
“Rarely isn’t never.”

Tag back to Robin.

Minute 9

Another distraction. Robin attempts the pin.

Julian Ward:
“Huntsman survives again — not through dominance, but resilience.”

Brick Brody:
“He’s absorbing punishment and waiting.”

Minute 10

Robin’s Pop-Up Powerbomb neutralized.

Julian Ward:
“Huntsman has adjusted. He’s reading the setup now.”

Brick Brody:
“You don’t let a guy hit the same move three times.”

Minute 11

German Suplex from Robin.
Body Slam from Huntsman.

Julian Ward:
“This is no longer about momentum. It is about endurance.”

Brick Brody:
“And endurance favors the heavier man.”

Minute 12

Huntsman isolates Robin and tags Sandman.

Julian Ward:
“A calculated transition. Sandman enters when fatigue sets in.”

Brick Brody:
“Smart tag. Bring in the man who suffocates pace.”

Minute 13

Sleeper attempt reversed.
Pop-Up Powerbomb lands.

Julian Ward:
“Robin refuses containment.”

Brick Brody:
“But every reversal costs him.”

Minute 14

Double team from Arthur and Robin.
DDT. Indian Deathlock.
Sandman answers with a Standing Clothesline.

Julian Ward:
“For the first time tonight, their timing aligns.”

Brick Brody:
“They’re starting to look like a team.”

Minute 15

Pumphandle Kneecap Brainbuster.
Sleep Dust to the eyes from Sandman.

Julian Ward:
“Sandman does not play by Arthur’s code.”

Brick Brody:
“And that’s why he’s dangerous.”

Minute 16

Arrow’d End connects.
Huntsman saves the match.

Julian Ward:
“Huntsman understands the stakes — he preserves Sandman.”

Brick Brody:
“That’s the first real teamwork from that side.”

Minute 17

Double team attempt by Sandman and Huntsman.
Robin reverses and lands Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Julian Ward:
“Robin survives isolation through instinct.”

Brick Brody:
“Instinct beats coordination when it’s sharp.”

Minute 18

Package Piledriver from Robin.
Huntsman makes the save again.

Julian Ward:
“Robin cannot finish this alone.”

Brick Brody:
“And he finally realizes it.”

Tag to Arthur.

Minute 19

Arthur and Robin double team Sandman.
Arm Trap Crossface.
Pumphandle Kneecap Brainbuster.

Julian Ward:
“Now the partnership is deliberate. Robin destabilizes the spine — Arthur traps the structure.”

Brick Brody:
“That’s dangerous.”

Minute 20

Short Arm Clothesline from Arthur.
Near fall.

Julian Ward:
“Arthur is asserting command.”

Brick Brody:
“He’s done reacting. He’s dictating.”

Minute 21

Sandman attempts Spinning Fist Strike.
Arthur reverses.
Flowing DDT.

Cover.

One…
Two…
Three.

Julian Ward:
“A king and an outlaw found common purpose — and it carried them through.”

Brick Brody:
“They didn’t trust each other at first. By the end, they didn’t hesitate.”

Julian Ward:
“In Dark Fable, alliances are temporary. But tonight, unity prevailed.”

KING ARTHUR & ROBIN HOOD DEFEAT SANDMAN & HUNTSMAN VIA PINFALL AFTER THE FLOWING DDT (21:00)

Arthur stands tall.

Robin nods once.

Not celebration.

Acknowledgment.

Oathbound approaches.

CLOSING

The camera returns to the commentary desk.

Torchlight flickers. The atmosphere feels heavier than before.

Julian Ward:
“Tonight, alliances formed… fractures widened… and Oathbound drew closer.”

He folds his hands calmly.

“Scarecrow claimed the final place in the Eternal Flame Battle Royal. Snow White earned her right to challenge Lilith. Sherwood stood united. Monster’s Bash survived the Round Table. And in our main event — King Arthur and Robin Hood proved that necessity can overcome division.”

Brick Brody:
“Yeah — but none of it felt settled.”

He leans forward slightly.

“Lion and Heracles tore each other apart and walked away even. The Monster keeps getting stronger. Mordred keeps waiting.”

Julian Ward:
“And Sunday… Oathbound.”

The graphic flashes briefly on screen.

“The Eternal Flame Battle Royal will crown the first Eternal Flame Champion. Ten competitors. One survivor.”

Brick Brody:
“Bodies everywhere. No hiding.”

Julian Ward:
“The North Star Tag Titles defended under No Disqualification and No Countout rules. The Universal Tag Team Championship on the line.”

Brick Brody:
“And the Queen of the North Championship — Lilith defending against Snow White.”

Julian Ward:
“And in the Mythic Crown Tournament Final…”

He pauses deliberately.

“Mordred. Frankenstein’s Monster.”

Suddenly —

A producer rushes to the desk off-camera.

Julian’s expression shifts slightly.

Julian Ward:
“We’re being told there’s a disturbance backstage.”

The camera cuts abruptly.

BACKSTAGE – MONSTER’S BASH DRESSING ROOM

The door has been ripped from its hinges.

Inside — chaos.

Steel chairs fly across the room.

A table splinters against concrete.

Mordred drives a forearm into Kong.
Sir Agravaine swings a chair at Dragon King.
The Dread Knights hammer away at Ogre in unison.
The Black Knight shoves Frankenstein’s Monster into lockers.

The room explodes into violence.

No words. No taunts.

Just impact.

A locker door caves inward as Kong hurls one of the Dread Knights through it.

Ogre drives Agravaine backward into a shattered table.

Dragon King and Black Knight exchange heavy strikes in the corner.

In the center —

Mordred stands toe-to-toe with Frankenstein’s Monster.

Forearm.
Elbow.
Forearm again.

Mordred snarls — defiant.

He charges.

The Monster catches him.

One massive hand clamps around Mordred’s throat.

The room slows.

The Dread Knights attempt to intervene — Kong blocks them.

Ogre shoves Agravaine aside.

Mordred struggles — boots kicking.

Frankenstein’s Monster lifts him high.

Higher.

The camera backs up as the Monster turns —

And drives Mordred through the wall.

Drywall explodes outward in a cloud of dust and debris.

Mordred crashes through into the adjacent corridor.

Silence.

The Monster steps through the broken wall opening.

Dust settles around him.

He turns slowly toward the camera.

Unblinking.

Unmoving.

Behind him, chaos continues.

The camera cuts back to the desk.

Julian Ward:
“This… is what awaits at Oathbound.”

His voice remains calm — but firmer.

“The Mythic Crown Final will not be contested between men seeking glory.”

Brick Brody:
“It’ll be contested between destruction and ambition.”

He nods slowly.

“Mordred wants a throne.”

Julian Ward:
“And Frankenstein’s Monster wants to tear it down.”

The camera cuts once more to the Monster, still staring directly into the lens, chest rising slowly.

Julian Ward (voice-over):
“Oathbound will not crown a hero.”

Brick Brody (voice-over):
“It’ll crown whoever survives.”

The Monster’s gaze does not waver.

Fade to black.

OATHBOUND – SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22

POST CREDIT’S SCENE - FOR FAMILY AND HONOR

The screen fades in softly.

The arena is empty now.

The hallway lights are dim.

Inside a small dressing room —

Hana Nakamura sits alone.

Her blazer is off. Hair slightly loosened.

In her hands — a photograph.

A young man. Early twenties. Smiling.

The picture is slightly worn at the edges.

Her thumb brushes the corner of it.

Her eyes glisten — but she does not cry.

A knock at the door.

She straightens immediately, placing the photo face down on the table.

“Yes?”

The door opens slowly.

Lady Ayame Ryu stands in the doorway.

Poised. Elegant. Severe.

Hana stands immediately and bows deeply.

“Lady Ryu.”

Ayame inclines her head slightly — not fully bowing.

“May I enter?”

“Of course.”

Ayame steps inside.

The door closes quietly behind her.

The room feels smaller.

Ayame’s eyes drift briefly to the table.

To the photograph.

Back to Hana.

“You keep his image close.”

Hana freezes.

“I—”

Ayame’s tone remains calm.

“You need not deny it.”

A pause.

“I know about your brother.”

Silence.

Hana’s composure cracks — just slightly.

“My… brother?”

Ayame nods once.

“And his involvement.”

A beat.

“With the Blood Oni Syndicate.”

The words land like a blade.

Hana steps back slightly.

“How do you—”

Ayame lifts a hand gently.

“In this world… information travels through shadows.”

She takes one step closer.

“You believed his name was hidden.”

Another step.

“It is not.”

Hana’s voice lowers to barely above a whisper.

“He left. He cut ties.”

Ayame studies her carefully.

“Did he?”

A long silence.

Hana’s eyes flicker with doubt.

Ayame’s voice softens — but only slightly.

“I did not come to threaten you.”

She looks toward the photograph.

“I came to warn you.”

A beat.

“The Blood Oni Syndicate does not release its own.”

The weight of that hangs in the air.

Hana swallows hard.

“You’re certain?”

Ayame’s expression does not change.

“I am certain enough.”

She moves toward the door.

“We will speak again.”

She pauses before opening it.

“You may find that your emergency… has not yet ended.”

Ayame exits.

The door shuts.

The camera slowly pushes in on Hana.

She turns the photograph back over.

Her brother’s smiling face fills the frame.

Her expression is no longer simply sad.

It is afraid.

Fade to black.
