Aired - February 27, 2026
(Black screen. The sound of a heavy book opening. A candle ignites. Ink creeps across parchment like it’s alive.)
(A choir hums low. A single bell tolls.)
Voice-over (smooth, ominous):
“Once upon a time… they told you monsters weren’t real.”
(beat)
“Here… they win matches.”
(The words burn into the screen like a cursed fairytale title card.)
NPCW: DARK FABLE
Voice-over:
“This is the MYTHIC Division.”
“Welcome… to DARK FABLE.”
SIGNATURE MONTAGE
1) Universal Tag Champions — Hans Trapp & Knecht Ruprecht
(Torchlight. Two silhouettes. Titles glint like weapons.)
Hans Trapp and Knecht Ruprecht stalk to the ring—then a violent cut: a ruthless, synchronized finish. One holds the opponent in place; the other strikes like judgment. They raise the belts slowly, not celebrating—claiming.
2) Sandman
(An hourglass spills sand upward.)
Sandman snaps into motion—cold precision. A sudden, nightmare-fast impact drops his opponent. He stands still as the camera jitters, like reality itself is afraid to focus on him.
3) Frankenstein’s Monster
(Lightning flash. Thunder hit.)
Frankenstein’s Monster absorbs shots that should end anyone—then surges forward and crushes a foe with a catastrophic slam. The ring shakes. The crowd reacts like they’ve seen a myth step off the page.
4) Robin Hood
(A streak like an arrow across the screen transitions the shot.)
Robin Hood slips a strike by inches and counters with surgical speed—clean, heroic, efficient. He points straight into the hard cam, as if calling his next target.
5) Hansel
(Breadcrumbs scatter across the canvas—then dissolve into smoke.)
Hansel fights like someone who learned survival the hard way—quick hands, sharper instincts. A sudden finishing burst flips the match in a heartbeat.
6) Snow White
(Soft light… then a hard snap to impact.)
Snow White shows heart and grit—turning a moment of danger into a clean counter and decisive strike. The fairy tale isn’t fragile here. It fights.
7) Lady Frost, Snow Queen
(Sound drops out. Breath fogs the air.)
Lady Frost moves with chilling control—elegant, merciless. A slick takedown into a finishing hold—she tightens it slowly, eyes calm as winter.
8) Gretel
(A childlike melody warps into something darker.)
Gretel explodes with intensity—fast, determined, ruthless when it counts. She drives through a final sequence like she’s escaping a trap.
(Choir rises. War drums join. The arena looks like a cathedral of combat under dark lighting.)
Voice-over:
“This isn’t the North.”
“This isn’t the light.”
“In DARK FABLE… the story doesn’t end happily.”
(beat)
“It ends… with a winner.”
“This… is DARK FABLE.”
“Previously at OATHBOUND…”
(Black screen.)
The sound of a match striking stone.
A single ember glows.
Voice-over (low, measured):
“An oath was made…”
Cut — Takuma Ryujin standing alone in the ring, Eternal Flame raised high.
“…and a flame was lit.”
Quick flashes — bodies flying over the top rope — Huntsman falling last.
Alton Bell’s voice echoes faintly:
“Defended every week.”
Cut — Blonde Bombshells celebrating, bruised but still champions.
“…the North Star did not fall.”
Cut — Knecht Ruprecht’s Driving Knee crushing Friar Tuck.
“…the Universal Tag Titles remain in ruthless hands.”
Cut — Kong driving Sir Gawain into the mat with the Spine Crusher.
“…monsters enforced their will.”
Cut — Lilith locking in Demon’s Embrace. Snow White fading.
“…and the Queen did not surrender her throne.”
Lightning cracks.
Mordred’s face twisted in pain.
The Clamp tightening.
His hand tapping.
The Monster crowned.
“…and destiny… submitted.”
Frankenstein’s Monster stands unmoving, Mythic Crown gleaming.
Dr. Frankenstein’s whisper overlaps the final image:
“I gave him inevitability.”
The ember flares into flame.
Voice-over:
“Now the hunted becomes the hunted.”
Quick cut — Takuma Ryujin staring down the stage.
Cut — Huntsman watching from the shadows.
Cut — Mordred clutching his back.
Cut — Lilith standing alone beneath cold light.
Voice-over:
“The fire must burn.”
“The crown must be defended.”
“And consequence… never rests.”
The screen burns into the words:
NPCW: DARK FABLE
The bell tolls once.
Fade into the live arena.
Segment 2 – Crowd & Welcome
The bell toll still echoes as the cameras sweep across Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum.
Torchlight flickers against stone-textured walls. Gold and crimson banners hang from the rafters. The crowd stands — not in carnival energy — but in anticipation.
Five stars shine brightest in the sea of raised signs and armored replicas.
Star One – Takuma Ryujin.
A cluster of fans in black and crimson stand shoulder to shoulder, fists raised in disciplined silence. One holds a hand-painted Eternal Flame sigil. Another bows slightly toward the ring — not cheering, but honoring. The chant rises, controlled and unified:
“RYU-JIN.”
Star Two – Frankenstein’s Monster.
A heavier section of the arena pounds the barricade in rhythm. No smiles. No irony. A massive banner reads: INEVITABLE. A child on his father’s shoulders wears a crude stitched mask. The chant is slower. Deeper.
“MON-STER.”
Star Three – King Arthur.
Blue and silver flags wave. A replica sword catches the light. The fans chant his name with hope, not frenzy. A woman in the front row presses a cardboard shield to her chest like a vow.
“AR-THUR.”
Star Four – Robin Hood.
Green scarves lifted high. A handful of fans in feathered caps lean over the barricade. Their chant is defiant, rhythmic, rebellious.
“RO-BIN! RO-BIN!”
Star Five – Maid Marion and Lark of Sherwood.
Two young girls hold a sign: THE SHERWOOD STANDS. Marion’s supporters cheer with quiet pride. Lark’s fans are sharper, louder — belief mixed with something new… something dangerous.
The camera settles at the commentary desk.
Julian Ward:
“Good evening. We are live from Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum… and if you can still feel the smoke in the air, it is because Oathbound has not yet finished burning.”
Brick Brody:
“It didn’t burn, Julian. It scorched. It scarred. And it proved something I’ve been saying for months — mercy doesn’t survive in the Mythic Division.”
Julian Ward:
“At Oathbound, an oath was made… and a champion was crowned. Frankenstein’s Monster forced Mordred to submit and claimed the Mythic Crown in a moment that may alter this division permanently.”
Brick Brody:
“Mordred thought destiny was his. Turns out destiny has hands — and they’re stitched together and stronger than steel.”
Julian Ward:
“The Eternal Flame still burns as well. Takuma Ryujin survived the Crucible and now carries a mandate issued by General Manager Alton Bell — the Flame must be defended every week.”
Brick Brody:
“That’s not a mandate. That’s a target painted on his back.”
Julian Ward:
“And tonight, that target stands across from The Huntsman.”
The camera cuts briefly to the stage — dark.
Julian Ward:
“Match One — Eternal Flame Championship. Takuma Ryujin versus The Huntsman. A hunter who nearly outlasted the field at Oathbound… and now returns with singular focus.”
Brick Brody:
“If Ryujin slips even once, the Flame goes out. Hunters don’t ask twice.”
Julian Ward:
“Match Two — Athena faces Lark of Sherwood. A test of discipline versus defiance.”
Brick Brody:
“Athena doesn’t test people. She breaks them to see what spills out.”
Julian Ward:
“Match Three — Knecht Ruprecht versus Robin Hood. After Oathbound, where Ruprecht’s Driving Knee crushed Friar Tuck…”
The crowd murmurs.
Brick Brody:
“Good. It should hurt to remember.”
Julian Ward:
“Robin Hood seeks retribution.”
Brick Brody:
“He better bring more than arrows.”
Julian Ward:
“Match Four — Morgana Le Faye against Maid Marion.”
A ripple of tension moves through the crowd.
Julian Ward:
“Two women bound to very different visions of power.”
Brick Brody:
“Morgana doesn’t wrestle for applause. She wrestles for control.”
Julian Ward:
“And Match Five — King Arthur versus Dragon King.”
A roar from the Arthur faithful.
Brick Brody:
“Arthur keeps stepping into fire. At some point, he’s gonna realize the dragon breathes back.”
Julian Ward:
“And in our Main Event — a non-title contest — Universal Champion Mean Jack Mason faces Sir Lancelot.”
The crowd buzz intensifies.
Brick Brody:
“Non-title or not, that’s a collision. Mason doesn’t like knights. Knights don’t like outlaws. Somebody’s ego is walking out dented.”
Julian Ward:
“Oathbound changed the hierarchy. Titles were defended. Thrones were protected. And one crown was claimed by inevitability.”
The camera briefly shows the Mythic Crown resting on a pedestal near the stage.
Julian Ward:
“Tonight, consequence continues.”
Brick Brody:
“It always does.”
The camera pans to the ring.
Torchlight flares.
The Eternal Flame logo burns across the screen.
Entrances & Introductions
The lights dim to embers.
A single red glow pulses on the stage.
Takuma Ryujin steps forward, Eternal Flame Championship held at his side — not raised, not flaunted. Lady Ayame Ryu walks a half-step behind him, composed, unreadable. The champion does not look to the crowd. He looks to the ring.
Julian Ward:
“Takuma Ryujin eliminated The Huntsman at Oathbound to claim the Eternal Flame. Tonight, he must prove that victory was not circumstance… but destiny.”
Brick Brody:
“Hunters remember the one that got away. And tonight? He’s got a clear shot.”
The lights shift to cold forest green.
The Huntsman emerges slowly. No theatrics. No wasted motion. He scans the ring as if tracking prey.
Julian Ward:
“He came within a breath of survival at Oathbound. Eliminated last by this very champion.”
Brick Brody:
“You don’t eliminate a man like that and walk away clean. He’s been waiting.”
In the ring, Louie Linville stands centered.
Louie Linville:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall… with no time limit… and it is for the NPCW Eternal Flame Championship.”
He turns.
“Introducing first — the challenger… The Huntsman.”
A pause.
“And his opponent… accompanied by Lady Ayame Ryu… he is the reigning… and defending… NPCW Eternal Flame Champion… Takuma Ryujin.”
The championship is presented. The bell rings.
Minute (1)
Huntsman surges first with an Ace Crusher — Takuma reverses mid-motion and immediately lifts into a Bridging Dragon Suplex, holding tight.
Julian Ward:

Brick Brody:

Minute (2)
Lady Ayame steps onto the apron — Celestial Balance. The referee’s vision clouds for a moment. Huntsman barrels through with a brutal Clothesline that nearly turns Takuma inside out.
Julian Ward:

Brick Brody:
“Champion’s got help and still eats the line. I like that.”
Minute (3)
Takuma hoists Huntsman into a Deadlift German Suplex. Huntsman fires back immediately with a crushing Full Nelson Slam.

Julian Ward:
“The challenger dictating pace.”
Brick Brody:
“Slow-Count Sam better keep up. This one’s speeding.”

Julian Ward:
“Strike for strike.”
Brick Brody:
“That Uppercut takes teeth home as souvenirs.”
Minute (6)
Delayed Gutwrench Suplex by Huntsman — held… and dropped with authority.
Julian Ward:
“Huntsman leaning into strength.”
Brick Brody:
“He’s wearing the Flame down.”
Minute (7)
Another Vertical attempt — Takuma slips free, neutralizes, and regains footing.
Julian Ward:
“The champion survives.”
Brick Brody:
“Barely.”
Minute (8)
Bridging Dragon Suplex again from Takuma — Huntsman explodes up with a Clothesline.
Julian Ward:
“Momentum seesaws.”
Brick Brody:
“They’re trading control like it’s a debt.”
Minute (9)
Takuma breaks through with a Kamigoye. Huntsman absorbs the knee flush.
Julian Ward:
“That knee landed clean.”
Brick Brody:
“And he didn’t go down. That’s the scary part.”
Minute (10)
Woodsman Uppercut by Huntsman — Takuma staggers.
Julian Ward:
“The challenger refuses to fold.”
Brick Brody:
“Good. Champions shouldn’t get easy nights.”
Minute (11)
Deadlift German from Takuma. Vertical Suplex counter from Huntsman. Both crash to the mat.
Julian Ward:
“Exhaustion creeping in.”
Brick Brody:
“Good. Tired men make mistakes.”
Minute (12)
Dash Middle Kicks reversed — Full Nelson Slam by Huntsman.
Julian Ward:
“Huntsman reading the pattern.”
Brick Brody:
“He’s figuring him out.”
Minute (13)
Deadlift German Suplex again — this time no escape.
Julian Ward:
“Takuma doubling down.”
Brick Brody:

Julian Ward:
“The challenger relentless.”
Brick Brody:
“He smells it.”

“The champion fading.”
Brick Brody:
“Flames burn brightest before they die.”
Minute (16)
Flying Crossbody from Huntsman — connects.
Julian Ward:
“A desperate aerial strike.”
Brick Brody:
“Hunters adapt.”
Minute (17)
Takuma explodes upward — Super Spike Piledriver. Huntsman driven into the mat.
Julian Ward:
“That may have shifted everything.”
Brick Brody:
“He spiked him like a trophy.”
Minute (18)
Neutralizer from Huntsman — brutal impact.
Julian Ward:
“He answered immediately!”
Brick Brody:
“That’s toughness.”
Minute (19)
Another Woodsman Uppercut — Takuma barely standing.
Julian Ward:
“Champion in danger.”
Brick Brody:
“This is where champions are made or buried.”
Minute (20)
Dash Middle Kicks — Clothesline in response.
Julian Ward:
“They refuse to separate.”
Brick Brody:
“Because one of them has to fall.”
Minute (21)
Northern Lights Suplex by Takuma — perfect bridge.
Julian Ward:
“Technically flawless.”
Brick Brody:
“Doesn’t mean enough.”
Minute (22)
Another Northern Lights — Huntsman counters with a Clothesline.
Julian Ward:
“Balance restored.”
Brick Brody:
“Neither giving the other a breath.”
Minute (23)
Super Spike Piledriver by Takuma — Huntsman answers with another Clothesline.
Julian Ward:
“The punishment mounting.”
Brick Brody:
“They’re both breaking.”

Post-Match Commentary
Julian Ward:
“Takuma Ryujin has done it. The Eternal Flame remains lit.”
Brick Brody:
“He earned it. That wasn’t clean. That wasn’t easy. That was survival.”
Lady Ayame Ryu steps into the ring, retrieving the championship.
Takuma rises slowly, belt raised only slightly — not triumphant, but resolute.
Julian Ward:
“The Huntsman came for retribution. He leaves with consequence. And as mandated by Alton Bell… the Flame must be defended again next week.”
Brick Brody:
“Then somebody better step up fast. Because the champion’s running out of pieces.”
Takuma stares down at the fallen Huntsman.
The Flame graphic burns across the screen.
TAKUMA RYUJIN DEFEATS THE HUNTSMAN VIA PINFALL (KAMIGOYE) — ETERNAL FLAME CHAMPIONSHIP RETAINED.
(Follows Dark Fable Production & Commentary Guide v1.0 )
Backstage.
Stone walls. Low torchlight. The Mythic Division crest hangs behind them like a warning rather than a welcome.
Hana Nakamura stands poised, microphone in hand. Beside her — the Universal Champion, Mean Jack Mason.
Black vest. Title slung casually over one shoulder. Bruises faintly visible beneath the collar.
Hana Nakamura:
“Universal Champion Mean Jack Mason… welcome to Dark Fable. Welcome to Camelot Coliseum.”
She smiles warmly, but her tone carries gravity.
“This is your first appearance here. You were scheduled earlier this season… but that visit was cancelled after your injury in the North Pole. How does it feel to finally step into the Mythic Division?”
Mason smirks, adjusts the championship on his shoulder.
Mean Jack Mason:
“Feels expensive.”
A beat.
“Yeah, I got banged up in the snow. Things happen. But let’s be honest, Hana — I didn’t exactly rush back down here either.”
He glances toward the arena entrance.
“Oathbound was about crowns and flames. Mythic Crown. Eternal Flame. Big tournament. Big moments.”
He shrugs.
“Didn’t want my star power outshining the field while they were trying to carve each other up.”
He flashes that crooked grin.
“Now Oathbound’s done… dust settled… figured I’d drop in. See what Camelot’s really about.”
Hana nods, leaning in slightly.
Hana Nakamura:
“You are the Universal Champion. This division has seen monsters crowned and champions tested weekly. When should the Mythic Division expect to see you defend that championship here?”
Mason looks directly into the camera.
His expression shifts — not arrogance, but challenge.
Mean Jack Mason:
“When I see somebody worthy enough to get a shot.”
He smiles again — slow.
A voice cuts in from off-screen.
Sir Lancelot:
“Worthy?”
Lancelot steps into frame, silver armor catching the torchlight. His jaw is set.
“You stand here beneath Camelot banners and speak of worth as though you are the judge.”
He steps closer.
“There are many worthy competitors in this division. Including myself.”
The tension tightens.
Mason looks Lancelot up and down — unimpressed.
Mean Jack Mason:
“You?”
He chuckles softly.
“You think you can hang with me?”
He steps forward until they are nearly nose to nose.
“Tell you what. Since you’re feeling brave… sure. I’ll put the title on the line tonight.”
Hana’s eyes widen slightly.
Mason continues.
“TV time limit. Quick and clean. You survive? Maybe you impress me.”
Before Lancelot can respond—
A measured voice enters.
Alton Bell:
“No. No, no.”
Alton Bell steps into frame, hands folded behind his back. His expression is calm — almost amused.
“I have been attempting to secure the Universal Champion’s presence on this program for weeks.”
He looks at Mason, unblinking.
“And now that you have so generously accepted a championship defense… you do not get to diminish it.”
Bell turns slightly toward Lancelot.
“If the Universal Championship is to be contested in the Mythic Division… it will be under the standard thirty-minute time limit.”
A beat.
“Not a reduced television allowance.”
Mason’s smirk tightens.
Mean Jack Mason:
“You making the rules for me now?”
Alton Bell:
“I am ensuring that if you lose… there will be no excuses.”
Lancelot’s eyes never leave Mason.
Sir Lancelot:
“Thirty minutes is more than enough.”
Mason adjusts the title on his shoulder again.
He leans in close to Lancelot.
Mean Jack Mason:
“Hope you’re ready to use every second of it.”
Alton Bell steps between them slightly — not forceful, just present.
Alton Bell:
“Then it is settled.”
He looks into the camera.
“Tonight. Main Event. Universal Championship. Thirty-minute time limit.”
Bell walks off without further acknowledgment.
Hana looks between the two men — the tension thick.
Hana Nakamura:
“Universal Championship… tonight.”
Mason smirks one last time before walking out of frame.
Lancelot remains.
Still.
Focused.
Entrances & Introductions
The arena darkens to storm-grey.
Thunder rolls.
Athena emerges first — chin lifted, eyes forward, bronze armor catching the torchlight. Zeus walks behind her, silent, towering, hands folded like judgment waiting to be delivered.
Julian Ward:
“Athena walks with doctrine. She does not compete — she corrects.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s got Zeus behind her. That’s not confidence. That’s leverage.”
The lights shift to forest green.
Lark of Sherwood steps onto the stage alone. No Robin. No fanfare. Just focus. She rolls her shoulders once and heads for the ring.
Julian Ward:
“Lark has grown beyond rebellion. Tonight is not about protest — it is about proof.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s stepping into a storm.”
Louie Linville stands centered.
Louie Linville:

He gestures.
“Introducing first… accompanied by Zeus… Athena.”
A pause.
“And her opponent… Lark of Sherwood.”
The bell rings.
Minute (1)
Lark of Sherwood strikes first — she hooks Athena’s arms and drives her down with a Double Chickenwing Facebuster. Athena absorbs the impact.
Julian Ward:
“Lark wastes no time. Immediate control.”
Brick Brody:
“That’s guts. You don’t ease into a goddess.”
Minute (2)
Athena rises and catches Lark mid-charge — she plants her with WISDOM’S WRATH (Pedigree). Lark attempts to defend but is driven face-first into the mat.
Julian Ward:
“Athena responds with authority.”
Brick Brody:
“That’s the difference between impulse and experience.”
Minute (3)
Athena charges Lark in the corner for SHIELD BASH — Lark sidesteps and reverses. Lark immediately hooks Athena again and hits another Double Chickenwing Facebuster. Athena cannot defend in time.
Julian Ward:
“Lark anticipated the assault.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s studying her. That’s dangerous.”
Minute (4)

Julian Ward:
“The challenger building momentum.”
Brick Brody:
“Zeus doesn’t look pleased.”
Minute (5)

Julian Ward:
“Simultaneous execution. Neither yielding.”
Brick Brody:
“This is getting mean.”
Minute (6)
Athena regains footing — Zeus steps onto the apron and executes Lightning Rod Interference, drawing attention momentarily. Athena capitalizes with a crushing forearm strike. Lark answers by lifting Athena into a Sitout Gourdbuster.
Julian Ward:
“Zeus inserts himself.”
Brick Brody:
“And still Lark answers. That’s resilience.”
Minute (7)
Athena lifts Lark high into PALLAS DROP (Gorilla Press Slam). Lark crashes down but rolls through and fires back with a Shining Wizard. Both competitors stagger.
Julian Ward:
“Power versus precision.”
Brick Brody:
“They’re emptying the chamber.”

Athena spins Lark into OWL WING BACKBREAKER. Lark neutralizes the full impact, twisting partially free before landing.
Julian Ward:
“Lark absorbing just enough to survive.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s hanging by instinct.”
Minute (9)
Athena drives Lark into the corner with SHIELD BASH. Lark rebounds and launches a Diving Crossbody to the floor, wiping Athena out. Athena barely makes it back inside at the seven count.
Julian Ward:
“Risk from Lark.”
Brick Brody:
“That could’ve ended her.”
Minute (10)
Lark connects with another Shining Wizard. Athena absorbs the strike and collapses. Lark attempts the pin.

Julian Ward:
“Athena survives.”
Brick Brody:
“That was close.”

Julian Ward:
“Sherwood Destroyer!”
Brick Brody:
“She might’ve cracked her.”
Minute (12)
Athena counters mid-sequence — she hits WISDOM’S WRATH. Lark answers immediately with a Fireman’s Carry Cutter. Both women lie still for a moment.
Julian Ward:
“They will not allow the other to control this.”
Brick Brody:
“This is a war of adjustments.”
Minute (13)
Athena rises first and delivers another WISDOM’S WRATH. Lark absorbs the punishment and struggles to her knees.
Julian Ward:
“Athena imposing will.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s grinding her down.”
Minute (14)
Zeus distracts the referee with Command of the Skies. During the momentary confusion, Lark counters Athena with a Fireman’s Carry Cutter.
Julian Ward:
“Interference again — but Lark capitalizes regardless.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s not backing down from the gods.”
Minute (15)
Lark hits another Fireman’s Carry Cutter clean. She hooks the leg.
1…
Athena kicks out early. Lark slams the mat.
Julian Ward:
“Athena refuses defeat.”
Brick Brody:
“That frustration’s creeping in.”
Minute (16)
Athena locks in GORGON CLUTCH (Rear Chinlock with Knee in Back). Lark struggles free and drives Athena down with a Double Chickenwing Facebuster.
Julian Ward:
“Submission into counter.”
Brick Brody:
“That was desperation strength.”
Minute (17)
Athena lifts Lark into OWL WING BACKBREAKER. Lark attempts to defend but cannot stop the impact.
Julian Ward:
“Athena regaining command.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s wearing her down piece by piece.”
Minute (18)

Brick Brody:
“They’re past tired.”
Minute (19)
Lark strikes with a Rolling Cutter. Athena cannot defend and drops hard.
Julian Ward:
“Lark surges again.”
Brick Brody:
“That might be the turning point.”
Minute (20)
Athena applies GORGON CLUTCH once more. Lark breaks free and fires a Single Leg Dropkick into Athena’s chest.
Julian Ward:
“Precision from Lark.”
Brick Brody:
“She’s finding openings.”
Minute (21)
Zeus suddenly grabs the referee and tosses him from the ring — Summon the Storm. In the chaos, Lark rebounds off the ropes and delivers a Single Leg Dropkick directly to Athena’s jaw.
The referee scrambles back inside.

Zeus steps toward the ring apron, furious. Athena remains motionless.
Julian Ward:
“Tonight was meant to reaffirm Athena’s authority. Instead… it has shifted momentum.”
Brick Brody:
“Lark just proved she’s not a footnote.”
LARK OF SHERWOOD DEFEATS ATHENA VIA PINFALL (SINGLE LEG DROPKICK) AT MINUTE (21).
Entrances & Introductions
Louie Linville stands centered in the ring.
Louie Linville:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall… with no time limit.”
He turns deliberately toward the stage.
Louie Linville:
“Introducing first… accompanied by Fenwick Grimbough… representing Grim Tidings… KNECHT… RUPRECHT.”
Ruprecht marches to the ring with rigid posture, jaw set. Fenwick trails behind clutching his rulebook, eyes darting, whispering strategy.
Julian Ward: “Ruprecht carries the discipline of Grim Tidings like a weapon, Brick. Every step is measured. Every strike deliberate.”
Brick Brody: “Measured? He’s a walking punishment. And Fenwick’s back there making sure the rules bend just enough.”
The lights shift.
Louie Linville:
“And his opponent… from Sherwood Forest… ROBIN HOOD.”
Robin emerges to a strong reaction, bow slung across his back. He scans the crowd, nods once, then heads toward the ring with purpose.
Julian Ward: “Robin Hood represents resistance. He fights for something greater than himself.”
Brick Brody: “Yeah? Tonight he’s fighting a brick wall with knees.”
The bell tolls once.
Minute 1
Knecht Ruprecht steps forward immediately and drives a brutal Overhead Chop down across Robin Hood’s shoulder. Robin attempts to brace, but the strike lands flush and drops him to a knee.
Julian Ward: “Ruprecht opens with authority. That Overhead Chop landed with full intent.”
Brick Brody: “That’s not a chop. That’s a warning shot.”
Minute 2
Robin Hood fires back. He springs forward and snaps a sharp Superkick into Knecht Ruprecht’s jaw. Ruprecht attempts to absorb it, but the impact staggers him back against the ropes.
Julian Ward: “Robin answers decisively with a Superkick.”
Brick Brody: “Good. Don’t trade hands with him—take his head off.”
Minute 3
Knecht Ruprecht surges forward and blasts Robin with a series of Forearm Smashes to the chest and jaw. Robin absorbs one—but counters the final swing, hooking Ruprecht’s head and spiking him with a sharp DDT.
Julian Ward: “Back and forth momentum. Robin turns aggression into leverage.”
Brick Brody: “That’s smart. You don’t outmuscle Ruprecht—you outthink him.”
Minute 4
Knecht Ruprecht climbs and drops a crushing Flying Kneedrop across Robin’s sternum. Robin rolls through the impact, pops to his feet, and hoists Ruprecht into a thunderous Pop-Up Powerbomb.
Both men hit hard.
Julian Ward: “Neither man yielding.”
Brick Brody: “That’s escalation. We’re past feeling out.”
Minute 5
Ruprecht regains footing and hammers Robin with more Forearm Smashes. Robin retaliates instantly with another precise Superkick, snapping Ruprecht’s head back.
Julian Ward: “Robin’s striking remains sharp.”
Brick Brody: “But he’s taking damage every exchange.”
Minute 6
Knecht Ruprecht corners Robin and unloads relentless Forearm Smashes, driving him into the turnbuckles. Robin absorbs the punishment, struggling to create space.
Julian Ward: “Ruprecht applying suffocating pressure.”
Brick Brody: “That’s how you break a hero—slow and steady.”
Minute 7
Ruprecht charges and drives a vicious Driving Knee to the Midsection into Robin’s ribs. Robin stumbles forward but fires back with a desperate Superkick, catching Ruprecht flush again.
Julian Ward: “Robin refusing to collapse.”
Brick Brody: “He’s running on pride now.”
Minute 8
Knecht Ruprecht swings another Overhead Chop that lands across Robin’s chest. Robin immediately counters—hoisting Ruprecht once more and delivering another thunderous Pop-Up Powerbomb.
The crowd roars.
Julian Ward: “Robin is matching power with power.”
Brick Brody: “That’s dangerous. You keep lifting a man like that, eventually he stays down.”
Minute 9
Chaos.
Fenwick Grimbough stumbles near the apron and accidentally strikes Referee “Honest” Abe with his rulebook. The referee staggers.
Robin seizes the moment and locks Knecht Ruprecht into a tight Sharpshooter, sitting deep.
Julian Ward: “Robin has the Sharpshooter applied!”
Brick Brody: “Fenwick just caused chaos—and now it might cost them!”
Ruprecht grimaces—but does not submit.
Fenwick avoids disqualification.
Minute 10
Ruprecht stomps viciously on Robin’s leg with a brutal Stomp on the Leg, targeting the base of the Sharpshooter. Robin answers with a crashing Senton.
Robin then lunges toward Fenwick on the apron, attempting retaliation—but misses entirely.

Brick Brody: “He’s got him dead center!”
Knecht Ruprecht struggles. His hands claw at the mat.
He taps.
The bell tolls.

Post-Match Commentary
Julian Ward: “Robin Hood endures interference, absorbs punishment, and forces submission. Tonight, resistance prevails.”
Brick Brody: “Ruprecht underestimated him. You don’t let a man keep coming at your legs and expect to walk out.”
Julian Ward: “Grim Tidings sought control. Instead, they have suffered consequence. Robin Hood stands taller in Sherwood… and Dark Fable shifts once more.”
Backstage.
Torchlight flickers against cold stone walls. The Mythic Crown rests over the massive shoulder of Frankenstein’s Monster. The gold gleams against scarred flesh.
Hana Nakamura stands composed but visibly awed beside them.
Hana Nakamura:
“Ladies and gentlemen… I am joined by Dr. Frankenstein… and the new Mythic Crown Champion… the Alpha Monster.”
The Monster does not blink. He does not shift. He simply stands — immovable.
Dr. Frankenstein gently adjusts the title plate, admiring the engraving.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“Behold. Proof of perfection.”
He smiles thinly.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“I constructed inevitability… and inevitability has claimed its throne.”
He runs a hand across the Monster’s shoulder.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“This reign will not be brief. It will not be chaotic. It will not be debated. It will be… long.”
Hana nods carefully.
Hana Nakamura:
“There are many watching, Doctor. Mordred seeks redemption. King Arthur seeks restoration. Sinbad, Robin Hood… all potential challengers.”
She gestures toward the title.
Hana Nakamura:
“Who do you believe will step forward first?”
Dr. Frankenstein laughs softly — not loud, but cutting.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“Worthy?”
He tilts his head.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“You speak as though worth is common.”
He looks at the Monster.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“There is no one… at this time.”
A voice interrupts.
Sinbad (off-camera):
“Then perhaps you’re not looking hard enough.”
The camera widens.
Sinbad steps into frame — eyes steady, jaw set.
He stands tall, defiant but controlled.
Sinbad:
“I’ve crossed storms that would swallow lesser men. I’ve faced beasts that made sailors pray.”
He looks directly at the Monster.
Sinbad:
“And I don’t bow to inevitability.”
Dr. Frankenstein studies him with open amusement.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“You are brave.”
A beat.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“Bravery is not qualification.”
He turns away dismissively.
Dr. Frankenstein:
“When the time comes… you will be measured.”
He begins walking.
The Monster turns last — staring at Sinbad without expression.
Then follows his creator.
Sinbad remains still. His jaw tightens.
He watches them disappear down the corridor.
Sinbad (quiet, controlled):
“I will get my shot.”
He does not shout it.
He states it.
The torchlight flickers.
Fade.

Louie Linville:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall… with no time limit.”
The arena lights dim to deep crimson.
A low rumble echoes as firelight flickers across the stage.
The silhouette of a massive form steps through smoke — scales, armor, and menace.
Dragon King emerges slowly, rolling his shoulders as Dr. Frankenstein follows at a measured pace, hands clasped behind his back. The Doctor says nothing. He only watches.
Julian Ward:
“Power without conscience is always dangerous. And tonight, that power is guided.”
Brick Brody:
“Guided? That’s a war machine with a doctorate standing next to it. Arthur better bring more than speeches.”
The red glow fades.
A single white spotlight pierces the darkness.
King Arthur steps onto the stage, cloak draped behind him, jaw set. Merlin walks at his side, calm, unreadable.
Arthur does not gesture to the crowd. He walks forward as if approaching a battlefield.

KING ARTHUR WINS WITH A FLOWING DDT OVER DRAGON KING AT MINUTE 17!!!
The screen fades in to black silk curtains stirring in a cold wind.
A single candle ignites.
Then another.
Then dozens.
We are inside a ruined throne hall — stone cracked, stained glass shattered, vines crawling up fractured pillars. Moonlight pours through a broken cathedral window.
At the center stands a black throne carved with thorns.
Seated upon it — Regina, the Evil Queen.
Her crown gleams in crimson torchlight. Her expression is not rage.
It is certainty.
To her right stands Malice — draped in dark violet and black, horned silhouette outlined against flame. Her eyes glow faintly green.
To Regina’s left stands Rosalyn, the Queen of Thorns, fingers slowly tracing the vine-wrapped hilt of a dagger.
Behind them — silent, massive, axe resting at his side — The Huntsman.
Regina rises slowly from the throne.
Regina:
“They cheered when we fell.”
Her voice is silk layered over steel.
Regina:
“They celebrated weakness as if it were victory.”
Malice steps forward, cloak dragging across the stone.
Malice:
“The Blonde Bombshells were fortunate. Fortune is not destiny.”
Her eyes flare brighter.
Malice:
“Sleep is temporary. So is triumph.”
Rosalyn smiles faintly — almost gently — before dragging her fingers along a stone column. Thorns burst from the cracks, crawling outward.
Rosalyn:
“The garden is patient. It always reclaims what blooms.”
The Huntsman tightens his grip on the axe. Wood creaks beneath his hand.
Regina walks down the throne steps, each heel echoing.
Regina:
“The Mythic Ladies Division does not belong to laughter.”
She pauses.
Regina:
“It belongs to rulers.”
Malice tilts her head.
Malice:
“And rulers do not beg.”
Rosalyn’s thorns creep across the floor now, encircling the throne.
Rosalyn:
“They strangle.”
The camera shifts behind them — the four silhouetted against moonlight.
Regina turns slightly, her eyes catching the flame.
Regina:
“We lost a battle.”
A slow smile forms.
Regina:
“We do not lose wars.”
Malice lifts her hand — a faint shimmer of dark energy flickers between her fingers.
Malice:
“Let the division sleep comfortably tonight.”
The Huntsman steps forward one heavy step.
Regina (cold, final):
“We are coming.”
The candles extinguish all at once.
Darkness.
Only the faint sound of vines tightening around stone.
Cut to black.
The arena darkens to ember-lit shadow.
A single bell tolls.
Smoke crawls across the stage.
ENTRANCES & INTRODUCTIONS
Sir Lancelot steps through first.
Polished steel. White cloak. No smile.
Merlin walks behind him, staff grounded with quiet authority.
Lancelot pauses at the ramp — not to pose — but to look toward the ring as if approaching a battlefield.
Julian Ward: “Sir Lancelot enters not as a knight of romance… but as a warrior seeking restoration.”
Brick Brody: “Restoration? He’s stepping into a fight with a man who doesn’t care about Camelot or chivalry.”
Lancelot removes his cloak at ringside and ascends the steps.
He does not acknowledge the crowd.
He watches the entrance.
The lights cut completely.
A cold white spotlight hits the stage.
Mean Jack Mason steps forward slowly.
The Universal Championship hangs over his shoulder.
Ace MacDougal walks beside him, speaking low in his ear.
Mason does not respond.
He smirks.
Brick Brody: “There’s the champion. No myth. No poetry. Just a man who breaks people.”
Julian Ward: “Mean Jack Mason has ruled by dismantling opponents mentally before finishing them physically.”
Mason climbs into the ring and stands nose-to-nose with Lancelot.
Louie Linville:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall… with no time limit… and it is for the NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP!”
He turns toward the challenger.
“Introducing first… accompanied by Merlin… from Camelot… SIR LANCELOT!”
Measured applause.
Louie pivots.
“And his opponent… accompanied by Ace MacDougal… from North Pole City… he is the reigning… defending… NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION… MEAN… JACK… MASON!”
Mason raises the championship once — then hands it off without ceremony.
Referee is ‘Honest’ Abe (+0).
The bell rings.
1st Minute
Mason explodes forward with a barrage of repeated punches — the Therapy Session — driving Lancelot back into the ropes.
Lancelot answers with a sharp Rolling Elbow that snaps Mason’s head sideways.
Julian Ward: “The champion opens with pressure. Lancelot responds with precision.”
Brick Brody: “Good. Hit him back. But Mason likes chaos.”
2nd Minute
Mason lunges for the Personality Disorder — but Lancelot slips free, launches upward, and crashes down with a Running Shooting Star Press.
The champion absorbs the impact hard.
Julian Ward: “Beautifully timed reversal!”
Brick Brody: “He surprised Mason. That won’t happen twice.”
3rd Minute
Mason waits.
Baits.
Catches Lancelot mid-motion.
PERSONALITY DISORDER.
The Stunner drops the challenger flat.
Julian Ward: “He walked him into it.”
Brick Brody: “That’s ring IQ. That’s champion instinct.”
4th Minute
Snap suplex from Mason — the Backroom Buster.
Lancelot answers again — Running Shooting Star Press.
Both men stay aggressive.
Julian Ward: “This is not a cautious main event.”
Brick Brody: “Good. I hate cautious.”
5th Minute
Mason drives the Final Diagnosis elbow down across Lancelot’s chest.
Lancelot fires back with a Superkick that staggers the champion.
Julian Ward: “Neither man yielding.”
Brick Brody: “They’re trying to break each other.”

Rude Awakening — Lou Thesz Press — Mason rains down fists.
Another Superkick from Lancelot snaps Mason upright.
Julian Ward: “The challenger refuses to be smothered.”
Brick Brody: “He’s burning energy.”
7th Minute
Final Diagnosis again.
Superkick again.
They trade center-ring.
No retreat.
Julian Ward: “The champion tests durability.”
Brick Brody: “And the knight keeps standing.”
8th Minute
Lancelot lines up another Superkick.
Mason ducks.
Final Diagnosis lands flush.
Cover.
One… two…
Kickout.
Julian Ward: “Close.”
Brick Brody: “Too close.”
9th Minute
Mason hooks the Sleeperhold.
He drags Lancelot to the mat and cinches it tight.
The challenger fights to his feet.
Refuses to submit.
Julian Ward: “The champion shifting to suffocation.”
Brick Brody: “Drain him. Knights need air too.”
10th Minute
Ace MacDougal shouts from ringside, pointing out a weakness.
Lancelot refuses the distraction and blasts Mason with a Rolling Elbow.
Julian Ward: “The challenger stays focused.”
Brick Brody: “Ace tried. Mason doesn’t need help.”
11th Minute
Exhaustion creeps in.
Mason sees it first.
He slips behind.
Sleeperhold again.
This time deeper.
This time tighter.
Lancelot reaches.
Struggles.
Knees buckle.
Merlin shouts from ringside.
The arm drops once.
Twice.
The challenger taps.
The bell rings.
Julian Ward: “Mean Jack Mason retains the Universal Championship by submission. He did not overpower Sir Lancelot — he endured him.”
Brick Brody: “He choked the myth out of him. That’s what a real champion does.”
Julian Ward: “Sir Lancelot fought with honor. But tonight, endurance outweighed valor.”
MEAN JACK MASON WINS WITH A SLEEPERHOLD OVER SIR LANCELOT ON MINUTE 11
The smoke hangs low over the arena floor.
Mean Jack Mason stands at the top of the ramp, the Universal Championship draped over his shoulder. In the ring, officials help Sir Lancelot to one knee. The knight refuses assistance for a moment — then finally accepts it.
The camera returns to the desk.
Julian Ward:
“Tonight, champions endured.”
Measured. Calm.
“Takuma Ryujin defended the Eternal Flame Championship against The Huntsman in a match defined by brutality and resolve. The Huntsman hunted with precision… but Ryujin stood in the fire and did not burn.”
A replay shows Ryujin absorbing punishment before striking decisively.
Brick Brody:
“The Huntsman brought traps. He brought pressure. He brought violence.”
A low scoff.
“But Takuma brought something worse — stubborn pride. You don’t keep the Eternal Flame by being clever. You keep it by refusing to die.”
Julian Ward:
“Takuma Ryujin remains Eternal Flame Champion.”
A slight pause.
“And in our Main Event, Mean Jack Mason forced Sir Lancelot into submission. The challenger fought with conviction. He fought with honor. But the Universal Championship does not reward belief. It rewards control.”
Replay of the Sleeperhold tightening.
Brick Brody:
“Lancelot had heart. Mason had leverage.”
A dry chuckle.
“And leverage always wins.”
Julian Ward:
“The Universal Championship remains where it began tonight. But nothing leaves Dark Fable unchanged.”
The graphic shifts.
Julian Ward:
“Next week… Takuma Ryujin defends the Eternal Flame Championship once more. His challenger — The Black Knight.”
The tone deepens.
“Ryujin survived the hunt. Now he faces discipline forged in steel.”
Brick Brody:
“Black Knight doesn’t chase you. He marches through you. Takuma wants to call himself fire? Let’s see how bright he burns when iron closes around his throat.”
The next graphic appears.
Julian Ward:
“And in a rematch born at Oathbound… Queen of the North Champion Lilith defends her crown against Snow White.”
A subtle weight in his voice.
“Their first encounter altered the division. This one may define it.”
Brick Brody:
“Snow White still believes she can outlast darkness.”
He leans forward.
“Lilith doesn’t outlast you. She breaks you. And she enjoys it.”
Julian nods slightly.
“Two championships. Two trials. Fire and frost.”
The final shot returns to Mason standing alone in silhouette at the top of the stage.
“Tonight, the champions stand.”
A beat.
“Next week… they are tested.”
Brick Brody:
“In Dark Fable, nobody stays comfortable for long.”
The screen fades to black.
No celebration.
No relief.
Only the promise of consequence.
