EPISODE 1.01 - “Long Shadow in the Snow”
A doctor resurfaces.
A secret network tightens its grip.
And from the North Pole to the Alaskan wilds, the Misfits learn that some shadows stretch farther than anyone imagined.
Scene 1
Undisclosed small town in Alaska – Dusk
Polly Mason walks alone down a snowy, deserted street. Dusk settles in, the sky bruised with fading light. She moves with purpose, but her eyes constantly scan her surroundings.
Behind her, two shadowy figures emerge and begin following at a careful distance.
Polly notices.
She calmly turns down an off‑street alleyway, boots crunching in the snow. She makes it only a few steps before two more figures step out ahead of her, blocking the path.
She stops.
The two behind her close in.
From the far end of the alley, a gray‑haired man with glasses steps forward, smiling pleasantly.
Polly: Dr. Goodefellow.
Goodefellow: Polly. It’s good to see you again. How have you been?
Polly: Fine. What do you want? I figured you’d be far away from Alaska by now.
Goodefellow: I wanted to check in on my favorite subject.
He pulls a small music box from his coat and opens it. An eerie tune fills the alley. Polly’s expression tightens—her eyes unfocus for a moment, madness threatening to surface.
Then she straightens… and smiles.
Polly: Sorry, Doc. That doesn’t work on me anymore. Thanks to Dr. Casey.
Anger flashes across Goodefellow’s face. He signals to the figures.
Before they can move, chaos erupts.
A body flies past Polly and slams into the snow. A second follows. Behind Goodefellow, two more crumple to the ground.
Goodefellow turns just in time for Polly’s fist to connect. He collapses.
Behind Polly stand Leiton Snake and Tobias Snake. Niven Snake steps forward from the front.
Leiton: Nice right hook, boss.
Polly smirks and produces zip ties.
A black van pulls up at the alley entrance, driven by Constable Noel Jinglemark.
Polly: Load them up. Take them to Sanctuary.
The Snake Pit obeys.
Leiton: What about you? Your brother won’t like you being alone.
Polly: Niven and Tobias go with Noel. You’re coming with me. I’ll meet you all there in a couple days.
The van doors slam shut.
Scene 2
Backroads outside of town – Night
Polly and Leiton drive through snow‑covered backroads until they reach a small isolated cabin.
Polly: Wait here.
She exits the truck and knocks once.
The door opens to a shaggy blond man with a short beard.
Brian: Hey cuz. Come on in.
Inside, his twin Bruce sits at the table with coffee.
Bruce: What brings you out this way?
Polly: I’m tracking down some of Moreau’s associates. I wanted to check on you two after the deprogramming.
Bruce: The serum’s gone. Just the dreams now.
Brian: What about Susie Brenner?
Polly’s tone darkens.
Polly: Still under Moreau’s influence. She’s with Yeti in NPCW. Her programming was deeper than anyone else’s.
They ask about Moreau.
Polly: Not yet. But the Hunters’ Enclave shut down over twenty‑five of his complexes. Lady Molly’s arrested hundreds.
She warns them to stay hidden.
Back in the truck:
Leiton: They okay?
Polly: They’re getting there. Now let’s get back to Sanctuary.
Scene 3
Sanctuary
Leiton reunites with his brothers before heading to the training center.
Polly meets with Lady Molly.
Polly: Any information from Goodefellow?
Lady Molly: Not yet.
Polly: How’s the search for a cure for Susie?
Lady Molly: The Winchesters found a journal detailing what Moreau and Goodefellow did. It’s incomplete. The second journal is in Stockholm—but Agent Buckle is already on it.
Later, in her quarters, Polly watches Northern Belles, focusing on Feral and Ursa Titania.
She calls the Snake Pit.
Polly: Boys. Get your gear together. We leave tomorrow.
Leiton (over comms): Where to?
Polly: I’ll tell you on the way.
She then lifts a secure phone and dials.
Epilogue — The Call
North Pole – Edie’s apartment
Jack Mason and Edie sit together on the couch. Flippers sleeps nearby.
The special phone rings.
Jack: Hello… Polly… I’m glad to hear that… Edie and I are great… No date yet… You visited Brian and Bruce? Good… And the Snakes are keeping you safe? Good.
A pause.
Jack: Okay… What is it you want to tell me?
Another pause.
Jack: Are you sure?
Jack: Yeah. I can look into that.
He hangs up.
Edie: Is everything okay with Polly?
Jack: Yeah… but you won’t believe this.
