The camera descends toward the commentary desk, where KC Rogers and Vera Steele sit beneath the illuminated Northern Belles crest.
KC Rogers: Welcome to Northern Belles Episode 038. We are live on August 16, 2026, from Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum, and one week after history was made in this building, the landscape of the division continues to change.
Vera Steele: Last week answered one major question. Valka survived a five-match tournament series with Crimson Viper and won the deciding contest without interference, controversy, or an unresolved fall. She is the first Aurora Champion.
KC Rogers: And the new champion is here tonight.
The main screen changes.
A recap package begins beneath a low orchestral score.
The final moments of last week’s Aurora Championship Tournament appear.
Valka drives repeated Pendulum Backbreakers into the lower spine of Crimson Viper.
The Queen of Hearts attempts to resist the final lift.
Her damaged back gives way.
Valka traps the arm and leg and rotates through the Flying Phoenix Cradle Suplex.
One. Two. Three. The bell rings.
The crowd explodes again as Valka is shown receiving the Aurora Championship.
KC Rogers: Five matches were required to separate them. Valka won the opening contest. Crimson Viper adjusted and took the next two. Valka forced a fifth match and then won the one that could not be answered.
Vera Steele: What impressed me most was the construction of the finish. Valka did not simply survive until an opportunity appeared. She created the weakness that decided the match. Repeated damage to the lower back prevented Crimson Viper from establishing the base she needed to defend the final cradle.
The replay freezes on Valka standing on the middle turnbuckle with the championship above her head.

The screen fades to black.
A gaslit Victorian street appears.
The image changes to Mina Harker standing across from Morrigan.

Vera Steele: And the last two came against the Coven. She defeated Wicked Willow, then defeated Morrigan despite interference from both women at ringside. Tonight, the opponent changes completely.
A dark cathedral replaces the forest.

KC Rogers: Mina Harker faces Prioress Malveil in our opening contest.
Vera Steele: This is an important change in style. Morrigan tried to overwhelm Mina with speed and combinations. Prioress Malveil is more deliberate. She prefers control, position, and sustained pressure. Mina Harker has been successful when she can force opponents into movement. Tonight she faces someone who will try to deny her that rhythm entirely.

KC Rogers: The conflict surrounding the Coven continues to spread. Two weeks ago, La Bruja Muerte forced Wicked Witch to submit after being cast aside by the very group she once stood beside.
Vera Steele: That victory was significant because there was no disputed ruling. Wicked Witch failed to secure the cover after the Gutwrench Powerbomb, and La Bruja Muerte immediately converted the mistake into the STF.
The screen changes.

KC Rogers: And that matters because one week from tonight, at Fallout, Hard Candy and Cotton Candy challenge the Blonde Bombshells for the North Star Tag Team Championship.
Vera Steele: Championship challengers do not have the luxury of ignoring evidence. Last week provided evidence. Tonight gives them one final competitive opportunity to show that they have corrected it.

The crowd reacts.
KC Rogers: And their final test before Fallout could scarcely be more demanding. The Candy Shoppe Twins face the Queens of Despair, Rosalyn, Queen of Thorns and Malice.
Vera Steele: Rosalyn enters with momentum after defeating Serpenta Veyne last week, though the involvement of Huntsman unquestionably influenced the closing stages of that match. Malice brings the physical force. If Hard Candy and Cotton Candy become disorganized again, this team is capable of punishing the mistake immediately.
The screen changes.

Then the image of Marcus the Beastmaster entering the ring behind the referee flashes across the screen.

Vera Steele: Marcus the Beastmaster physically entered the ring twice. Rapunzel survived the first Sidewalk Slam and nearly reversed the cover. The second directly created the finish. Ursa Titania owns the official victory, but the replay leaves no uncertainty about what decided it.
A silver moon expands across the screen.

KC Rogers: Tonight, Rapunzel faces Moon Silver.
Vera Steele: Moon Silver did not create the damage Rapunzel suffered last week, but she would be irresponsible not to recognize it. Rapunzel’s lower back absorbed two illegal Sidewalk Slams in addition to everything Ursa Titania delivered legally. Recovery is now part of the competitive equation.
The screen abruptly fractures.

Vera Steele: Neither woman showed any intention of reducing the hostility. Dr. Violetta Voss continues to frame Polly Mason as psychologically unfit for the match. Polly Mason sees every one of those statements as another attempt to control the narrative around her.
KC Rogers: Tonight, I will sit down with both of them.
The audience reacts immediately.
KC Rogers: Polly Mason. Dr. Violetta Voss. Together.
The camera briefly moves closer to KC Rogers.
KC Rogers: No interviewer standing between them. No prepared statements delivered from opposite sides of the building. The camera returns to Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum as the lights dim across the arena.
A low heartbeat begins beneath the distant sound of church bells.
Gaslit Victorian streets emerge across the main entrance screen, disappearing gradually beneath rolling silver fog. A narrow white spotlight falls across the center of the stage.
Mina Harker steps through the curtain.
The crowd responds immediately.
She wears dark fitted ring attire accented with deep red and silver. There is noticeably less hesitation in her movement than there was when she returned to competition. Three consecutive victories have changed the way she carries herself, but her expression remains focused rather than celebratory.
KC Rogers: Three matches since returning to competition and three victories for Mina Harker. She defeated Wicked Willow, survived the combined presence of the Coven to defeat Morrigan, and now faces an opponent with an entirely different approach.
Vera Steele: Mina Harker has been successful because she changes direction quickly and attacks during transitions. Prioress Malveil will try to prevent those transitions from occurring. She is comfortable slowing an opponent, controlling the head and neck, and forcing every escape to require effort.
Mina Harker walks down the aisle, briefly acknowledging supporters along the barricade before climbing onto the apron.
She pauses there.
Her eyes move toward the entrance stage.
Then she steps through the ropes and takes her place in the far corner.
The lighting changes.
The silver fog disappears.
A dark cathedral fills the main screen.
Heavy stone pillars rise beneath narrow stained-glass windows. Black candles ignite one after another as a deep choral note begins to resonate throughout the building.
The cathedral doors slowly open.
Prioress Malveil emerges.
She wears severe black-and-silver entrance attire with subtle crimson detailing. Her posture is perfectly upright, her hands folded calmly in front of her as she surveys the ring.
There is no wasted movement.
No acknowledgment of the crowd.
She begins walking toward Mina Harker with deliberate, measured steps.
KC Rogers: There is something very different about the pace of Prioress Malveil even before the bell rings. She does not appear interested in matching the energy of Mina Harker.
Vera Steele: Nor should she. Mina wants reactions. She wants an opponent to reach, chase, and overcommit. Prioress Malveil is at her best when she dictates where the exchange takes place and forces the other competitor to move first.
Prioress Malveil reaches ringside and climbs the steps.
She enters between the ropes and walks directly to her corner.
Referee Honest Abe calls both competitors forward.
He gives his final instructions and checks that both women understand the rules.
Neither looks away from the other.

Prioress Malveil pulls the arm away and catches Mina around the waist.
Mina Harker attempts to turn through the grip.
Prioress Malveil maintains control.
She pulls Mina Harker forward into a wheelbarrow position, lifts her hips from the canvas, then drives her face-first into the mat with a Wheelbarrow Bulldog.
Mina Harker attempts to brace against the descent with both hands.
She cannot stop the impact.
Prioress Malveil immediately remains close, keeping one hand against the shoulder as Mina attempts to rise.
Mina Harker manages to turn underneath the grip and creates enough separation to avoid being trapped again.
KC Rogers: Strong opening from Prioress Malveil. Mina Harker attempted to escape before the lift was completed, but Malveil maintained control and completed the Wheelbarrow Bulldog.
Vera Steele: That is exactly the kind of exchange Mina wanted to avoid. Prioress Malveil did not chase movement. She waited until Mina entered her reach, secured the hips, and eliminated the speed advantage before attacking.
Minute 2
Mina Harker rises quickly and immediately changes the distance.
Instead of reaching for another hold, she steps forward and drives a Spin Kick into the chest of Prioress Malveil.
The impact forces Malveil backward several steps.
Mina Harker advances.
Prioress Malveil catches the approaching leg and twists her opponent toward the canvas.
She steps over Mina’s body, traps the leg, reaches across the head and neck, and applies Sanctified End, the Inverted STF.
Mina Harker immediately reaches toward the ropes.
She is too far away.
Prioress Malveil leans backward and increases the pressure across the neck and lower spine.
Honest Abe moves beside them.
He asks whether Mina Harker submits.
Mina refuses.
She plants both forearms against the canvas and begins dragging herself toward the ropes.
Prioress Malveil attempts to pull her backward.
Mina Harker twists one hip outward, slips the trapped leg free, and rolls away before the hold can be reapplied.
KC Rogers: Mina Harker found the Spin Kick, but Prioress Malveil answered immediately with Sanctified End.
Vera Steele: That was an important response. Mina tried to accelerate the match with a strike. Malveil caught the next approach and converted it into a submission that attacked several areas at once. Mina escaped, but she had to spend considerable energy doing it.

Mina Harker rises near the ropes.
Prioress Malveil approaches carefully.
Mina catches the arm.
She steps behind her opponent, traps one leg across the body, threads the opposite arm backward, and secures the Black Octopus Hold.
The crowd reacts.
Prioress Malveil is forced to balance while Mina Harker twists the shoulder and upper spine.
Honest Abe checks closely.
Prioress Malveil refuses to submit.
She shifts her weight toward one side and begins trying to free the trapped leg.
Mina Harker tightens the hold.
Prioress Malveil finally manages to break her leg free and turns toward Mina.
The moment the hold releases, Malveil runs toward the ropes.
She rebounds with sudden speed and drives both feet into Mina Harker’s upper chest with a Rolling Thunder Front Dropkick.
Mina Harker crashes onto her back.
Both women remain down briefly before beginning to rise.
KC Rogers: The Black Octopus Hold gave Mina Harker her first sustained control of the match, but Prioress Malveil escaped and answered with the Rolling Thunder Front Dropkick.
Vera Steele: Mina attacked multiple points of balance at once, which is why that hold was effective. But Malveil escaped by freeing the leg first. Once the base was restored, she could rotate out and attack before Mina had reset her stance.

Both competitors meet near the center.
Prioress Malveil reaches for the head.

KC Rogers: So naturally, someone decided putting them together in a ring with furniture was the sensible follow-up.

Moonshadow walks toward the ropes.
She stops beneath the image of Crimson Vane and Lilith.
She looks from one champion graphic to the other.
Then she points toward herself.
The crowd responds loudly.
Behind her, Wicked Witch, Velora Synn, and Morgana LeFaye remain scattered around the ring, each forced to confront how close she came to the same opportunity.
KC Rogers: Wicked Witch wanted to restore her authority.
The camera finds Wicked Witch.
KC Rogers: Velora Synn survived more coordinated punishment than perhaps anyone in this match.
The camera moves to Velora Synn.
KC Rogers: Morgana LeFaye came within moments of creating several submissions and near falls of her own.

Then returns to Moonshadow.

Vera Steele: And tonight, it is Moonshadow.
Moonshadow climbs onto the middle turnbuckle.
Silver light pours across the ring.

A replay shows the closing moments of the Fatal Four-Way.
After nearly fifty-six minutes of shifting alliances, submissions, near falls, and constant interruption, Moonshadow catches Morgana LeFaye and drives her into the canvas with the Bodyslam.
Velora Synn attempts to reach the cover.
Wicked Witch delays her.
One.
Two.
Three.
The replay freezes on Moonshadow having her arm raised.
KC Rogers: Fifty-five minutes and forty-seven seconds were required to determine the next challenger for the Queen of the North Championship. Moonshadow survived Wicked Witch, Velora Synn, and Morgana LeFaye, and when the final opportunity appeared, she did not waste it.
Vera Steele: The simplicity of the finish should not disguise what created it. By that point, all four women had absorbed an enormous amount of punishment. Morgana LeFaye did not have the recovery left to defend the Bodyslam or escape the cover, and Velora Synn was delayed just long enough that the save became impossible.
The screen changes.

KC Rogers: Moonshadow now has the championship opportunity.
Vera Steele: What she does not have is an opponent.

Footage shows Crimson Vane raising the championship.
Then Lilith stands across from her.
The championship is held between them.
Vera Steele: The first fall tests conventional wrestling. The second removes distance by chaining the competitors together. If a third fall becomes necessary, both women will take accumulated damage into a Ladder Match.
KC Rogers: Moonshadow earned the right tonight to watch that match very carefully.
The graphic disappears.
Gaslit streets replace it.
Mina Harker traps Prioress Malveil in the Black Octopus Hold.
The replay shows Malveil attempting to turn through the submission.
Mina Harker traps the leg, pulls the shoulder farther backward, and prevents the escape.
Prioress Malveil taps.
KC Rogers: Tonight began with another important victory for Mina Harker. She defeated Prioress Malveil by submission and improved to four consecutive victories since returning to competition.
Vera Steele: And tonight demonstrated something different from the previous victories. Prioress Malveil successfully slowed the pace and repeatedly attacked the head and neck. Mina Harker had to solve a methodical opponent rather than simply survive interference.
The replay freezes on Mina Harker having her arm raised.
KC Rogers: Four opponents. Four victories.
Vera Steele: That is no longer simply a successful return. It is momentum that the rest of the division has to acknowledge.
The screen turns silver-white.
A brilliant aurora forms.
The new Aurora Champion, Valka, appears backstage with the championship over her shoulder.

Valka speaks about defeating Mrs. Claus, Ruby Howl, and Pearl to reach the championship series before surviving five matches with Crimson Viper.
Then the image changes.
Marcus the Beastmaster steps into the interview area.
Behind him comes Ursa Titania.
The two women stand face-to-face.
The championship rests between them.
KC Rogers: The first Aurora Champion also discovered tonight that history does not provide much time for rest.
Vera Steele: Valka explained the path that made her champion. Ursa Titania made it clear that she intends to become the next part of that path.
The replay captures the exchange.
Ursa Titania: I want it.
Ursa Titania: And I will take it.
The image changes to Valka’s response.
Valka: Good.
The crowd cheers again.
KC Rogers: Marcus the Beastmaster believes Ursa Titania represents a physical challenge unlike anything Valka encountered during the tournament.
Vera Steele: He may be correct about the physical challenge. What remains unresolved is whether Ursa Titania has earned the championship match. Making your intention clear and becoming the official challenger are not necessarily the same thing.
The screen darkens.

Lady Guinevere and Sayaka Mizuhana exchange rapid tags against Grizelda and La Bruja Muerte.
The match becomes increasingly physical.
Then Lady Ayame Ryu begins influencing the closing stages from ringside.
She disrupts the concentration of La Bruja Muerte.
She identifies the accumulated damage to the neck.
Lady Guinevere follows the instruction.
The decisive cover follows.
KC Rogers: Lady Guinevere and Sayaka Mizuhana earned an important victory tonight over Grizelda and La Bruja Muerte.
Vera Steele: And Lady Ayame Ryu demonstrated exactly why her presence matters. She never needed to strike anyone. She manipulated attention, identified damage, and gave Lady Guinevere the information necessary to attack the correct weakness.

The Candy Shoppe Twins appear.

The replay then changes to the Queens of Despair isolating each sister.
Sour Candy strikes Malice with the loaded purse.
Later, Huntsman attacks Hard Candy behind the referee’s back.
False Fog catches Cotton Candy across the face.
Despite everything, neither team produces the deciding fall.
The clock reaches thirty minutes.
The horn sounds.
KC Rogers: The Candy Shoppe Twins and Queens of Despair fought to a thirty-minute time-limit draw.
Vera Steele: There was improvement from Hard Candy and Cotton Candy. Their communication was considerably better than it was against Mrs. Claus and Pearl last week. The tags were quicker, the saves were immediate, and they showed greater awareness of which sister needed to recover.
KC Rogers: But they did not win.
Vera Steele: Correct. And next Sunday, improvement alone will not make them champions.

Vera Steele: Tonight showed that the challengers can correct mistakes. It also showed that sustained isolation remains dangerous for them. The Blonde Bombshells are an established championship team. If they identify the same weakness, they will not be interested in allowing thirty minutes for the twins to recover.
The graphic fades.
The arena becomes quiet on screen.
The overturned table from Collision Course appears.
The crowd grows louder.
Footage rolls from earlier tonight.
KC Rogers sits between Polly Mason and Dr. Violetta Voss.
Voss discusses the experiments she performed while Polly Mason was held captive.
Polly calls it exactly what she believed it was.
An attempt to break her.
Then comes the moment that changed the interview.
Dr. Violetta Voss begins humming.

The screen changes again.
Golden light appears.
The replay shows the Wolf Pack surrounding the ring during Moon Silver against Rapunzel.
One member attempts to provide a foreign object.
Rapunzel neutralizes it.
Later, the group finally succeeds in distracting her.
Moon Silver capitalizes.
Then Rapunzel adjusts.
The repeated Bridging Back Racks appear.
Finally, Rapunzel catches Moon Silver.

KC Rogers: Rapunzel also answered last week’s controversy by defeating Moon Silver tonight.
