The NORTHERN BELLES logo forms in frost across the screen. For one perfect second, it glows with icy gold light.

Silver-blue light rolls across the lower bowl while icy gold spotlights sweep through the upper levels. Thousands of supporters are already standing beneath the enormous illuminated Northern Belles emblem above the entrance stage.
The camera moves through the crowd.
Signs rise throughout the building.

KC Rogers sits beneath the illuminated crest, dressed in a tailored dark blue suit. Beside her, Vera Steele watches the entrance stage with her headset already in place.
KC Rogers: Welcome to Northern Belles Episode 039. We are live from Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum, and for the first time since Fallout, the women of Northern Belles are back inside this building.
The crowd cheers.
KC Rogers: I am KC Rogers, alongside Vera Steele, and one week ago the Queen of the North Championship changed hands, one of the most personal rivalries in this division reached a brutal conclusion, and several questions that existed when we were last here now have very different answers.
Vera Steele: Fallout created answers, but it also created consequences. The championship changed hands. A new number one contender now knows exactly who she is pursuing. And several women who were not officially part of the Queen of the North Championship match made certain they became part of the championship picture before the night was over.
The enormous main screen turns black.
A single image appears.
The Queen of the North Championship.
Then Crimson Vane and Lilith appear on opposite sides of it.
The words form beneath them.

The crowd inside Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum boos loudly as the footage plays. At Fallout, Count Vlad’s interference directly created the first fall for Lilith.
KC Rogers: The first fall will remain one of the defining controversies of that championship match. Crimson Vane was in control when Count Vlad struck her with the Transylvania Spike. Lilith took the cover and went ahead one fall to none.
Vera Steele: And that matters when evaluating everything that followed. Crimson Vane was forced into the Chain Match already trailing because of an action she had no opportunity to defend against.
The footage changes.
The heavy chain connects both women.
Crimson Vane fights through the punishment.
Three corners are touched.
Lilith pulls her away from the fourth.
Later, Crimson Vane tries again.
First corner.
Second.
Third.
The chain stretches tight.
Crimson Vane dives.
Her hand reaches the fourth turnbuckle.
The bell rings.
The replay confirms that Crimson Vane won the second fall by touching all four corners at the thirty-six-minute mark, forcing the championship into the deciding Ladder Match.
KC Rogers: That brought the match level. One fall each. After thirty-six minutes, there was no longer a champion and challenger trying to win a conventional match. There were two exhausted competitors and a championship hanging above them.
Vera Steele: And Crimson Vane had already shown she could recover from what happened in the opening fall. She survived the disadvantage, won the Chain Match under its own rules, and forced Lilith into the final environment.
The footage moves forward.
Ladders surround the ring.
Both women are exhausted.
The clock reaches fifty-three minutes.
Crimson Vane gets to the ladder first.
She opens it beneath the championship.
She climbs. One rung. Then another.
Her fingertips approach the title.
Count Vlad moves.
The crowd inside the Coliseum begins booing before the replay reaches the moment.
Count Vlad climbs onto the apron.
The Transylvania Spike strikes Crimson Vane again.
She falls backward from the ladder.
The footage slows.
Lilith opens her eyes.
Count Vlad points upward.
Lilith climbs.
She reaches the championship.
She unhooks it.
The bell rings.
The screen freezes on Lilith sitting atop the ladder with the Queen of the North Championship in her hands.
LILITH — FIRST THREE-TIME QUEEN OF THE NORTH CHAMPION
At Fallout, Lilith defeated Crimson Vane two falls to one at fifty-three minutes, becoming the first woman in NPCW history to hold the Queen of the North Championship three times. But the deciding opening was again created when Count Vlad struck Crimson Vane with the Transylvania Spike as she was climbing toward the championship.
KC Rogers: History was made. Lilith became the first three-time Queen of the North Champion.
The crowd reacts with a mixture of cheers and boos.
KC Rogers: That record is permanent. So are the circumstances surrounding it.
Vera Steele: Lilith still had to climb the ladder. She still had to retrieve the championship. But competitive analysis cannot ignore the cause of the opening. Crimson Vane was climbing toward the title when Count Vlad removed her from the contest.
The screen shows Crimson Vane recovering after the bell.
Her attention is not on the championship.
It is on Count Vlad.
KC Rogers: And Crimson Vane knew exactly where to look when it was over.
Footage shows the former champion advancing toward Count Vlad.
Then everything changes.
Emberlyn Black appears.
She attacks Crimson Vane.
The replay accelerates.
Lilith rises with the championship.
Emberlyn Black turns toward her.
So does Velora Synn.
They strike simultaneously from opposite sides.
Lilith collapses.
The championship falls from her hands.
The crowd roars at the footage.
KC Rogers: And somehow, becoming champion was only the beginning of Lilith’s problems.
Emberlyn Black pulls the new champion upright.
She positions Lilith directly above the Queen of the North Championship.
Both arms are hooked.

Lilith is driven face-first and chest-first onto her own championship.
The camera cuts to Velora Synn.
She bends down.
She takes the Queen of the North Championship.
She raises it above her head.
The image freezes.
Vera Steele: That was not a celebration. It was a statement.
The replay resumes.
Velora Synn looks down at Lilith.
Then she drops the championship directly onto the fallen champion.
Emberlyn Black stands beside her.
Nearby, Crimson Vane gets back to her feet and points directly toward Count Vlad.
The Fallout footage confirms that Emberlyn Black and Velora Synn struck the newly crowned champion together, Emberlyn Black delivered a Pedigree onto the title, and Velora Synn raised the championship before dropping it back onto Lilith.
KC Rogers: In the span of only a few minutes, the Queen of the North Championship picture became considerably more dangerous.
Vera Steele: Lilith has the championship. Moonshadow has the guaranteed opportunity. Crimson Vane has a legitimate grievance against Count Vlad. Emberlyn Black physically inserted herself into the aftermath. And Velora Synn did not merely attack the champion. She picked up the championship and raised it.
The screen fades into cold silver moonlight.

On August 16, Moonshadow survived nearly fifty-six minutes and pinned Morgana LeFaye at 55:47. Velora Synn nearly broke the fall, but Wicked Witch delayed her just long enough for the three-count to stand.
KC Rogers: Two weeks ago, Moonshadow entered this building knowing she had one opportunity to move directly into the Queen of the North Championship picture.
Vera Steele: Fifty-five minutes and forty-seven seconds later, she had done it.
KC Rogers: At the time, she did not know whether she would eventually face Crimson Vane or Lilith.
The screen changes.
Moonshadow appears on one side.
The new champion, Lilith, appears on the other.
The Queen of the North Championship turns slowly between them.
KC Rogers: Now she knows.
The crowd cheers.
Vera Steele: And Moonshadow has the cleanest position of anyone surrounding the championship. She does not need to attack the champion from behind. She does not need to demand recognition. She won the match that made her number one contender.
The graphic fades.
A brilliant aurora spreads across the screen.
The Aurora Championship appears.
Then Valka.
The crowd rises.

KC Rogers: The Queen of the North Championship is not the only title with challengers beginning to gather.
The replay shows Valka discussing the tournament that made her the inaugural Aurora Champion.
Then heavy footsteps approach.
Marcus the Beastmaster enters the interview area.
Behind him comes Ursa Titania.
The two women stand face-to-face.
Neither retreats.
The championship rests between them.
The replay reaches the exchange.
Ursa Titania: I want it.
A beat.
Ursa Titania: And I will take it.
Valka: Good.
The audience cheers.
The footage continues.
Ursa Titania: You will fall again.
Valka: Probably.
A louder reaction.
Valka: I have fallen before.
Valka: The difficult part is keeping me there.
The screen freezes on the two women staring across the Aurora Championship. On August 16, Ursa Titania directly challenged Valka, telling the inaugural champion that she wanted the title and would take it; Valka welcomed the challenge rather than retreating from it.
KC Rogers: Valka spent an entire tournament proving that she could become the first Aurora Champion. Her first response to Ursa Titania was not to ask for time. It was to welcome the fight.
Vera Steele: But this is a very different physical problem from the opponents Valka faced through that tournament. Ursa Titania presents size, force, and the presence of Marcus the Beastmaster at ringside. If that challenge becomes official, Valka will have to build an entirely different championship strategy.
The aurora disappears.
The main screen turns black.

The atmosphere inside Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum changes.
Footage begins.
Polly Mason and Dr. Violetta Voss fight around the ring.
A Powerbomb sends Polly Mason onto the apron.
A Backdrop Driver sends her violently to the floor.
Both women use the announce area.
Neither stays down.
The referee repeatedly begins counting.
Seven. Eight. Nine.
The footage reaches the twenty-fifth minute.
Polly Mason is on the arena floor.
Dr. Violetta Voss climbs onto the apron.
She launches herself down onto Polly Mason.
Both women crash to the floor.
The referee counts.

Dr. Violetta Voss begins crawling toward the barricade.

She gets one foot underneath her.

Dr. Violetta Voss uses the barricade to stand.

At Fallout, Dr. Violetta Voss survived the final count by using the barricade to reach her feet, while Polly Mason reached one knee but could not stand before ten. The match ended at the twenty-five-minute mark.
KC Rogers: Twenty-five minutes. Two women pushed to physical exhaustion. Dr. Violetta Voss was standing when the referee reached ten.
Vera Steele: And that final distinction is all the stipulation required. Polly Mason was moving. She was conscious. She was trying to rise. None of that changes the result. Dr. Violetta Voss reached her feet before ten. Polly Mason did not.
The replay shows earlier punishment.
Polly Mason driven onto the ring apron.
Polly Mason crashing onto the floor.
Then Dr. Violetta Voss being slammed onto the announce table.
The table collapses when the punishment is returned.
KC Rogers: Neither woman escaped cleanly. Dr. Violetta Voss survived two counts that reached nine. Polly Mason absorbed punishment that would have ended most matches long before the final count.
Vera Steele: But Last Woman Standing is not scored on accumulated damage. The only final measurement is whether you can stand. On that night, Dr. Violetta Voss could.
The footage shows the aftermath.
Polly Mason sits against the barricade, exhausted.
There is no Ace MacDougal at ringside.
No Flippers.
Both remained backstage with her brother Jack Mason following the events surrounding his own match.
KC Rogers: And Polly Mason fought that match under circumstances that were anything but ordinary. The people who normally stand beside her were backstage with Jack Mason, and she still fought alone for twenty-five minutes.
Vera Steele: That provides context. It does not erase the loss. And knowing Polly Mason, I doubt she would want it to.
The Fallout footage fades.
The Northern Belles logo forms across the screen.
Then tonight’s match card begins appearing one contest at a time.
WAR COUNCIL VS PATCHWORK PAIGE AND PATCHWORK PAULA
KC Rogers: Tonight begins with tag team competition as the War Council faces Patchwork Paige and Patchwork Paula.
Vera Steele: An immediate opportunity for both teams to establish position on the first Northern Belles card after Fallout.

KC Rogers: The Black Chapel meets the unusual combination of Lady Guinevere and Mother Earth.
Vera Steele: That pairing interests me. Lady Guinevere operates with structure and discipline. Mother Earth brings a very different physical presence. Their ability to coordinate will matter as much as their individual strengths.
The screen changes.
MORGAN LE FAYE VS SAYAKA MIZUHANA
KC Rogers: Morgan Le Faye goes one-on-one with Sayaka Mizuhana.
Vera Steele: Both are capable of changing a match rapidly once they gain control. The first sustained advantage may tell us a great deal about which style governs that contest.

Vera Steele: There is already history surrounding both women, and neither enters tonight in a neutral position. Wicked Witch is trying to restore control after losing the number one contender match. Grizelda has repeatedly placed herself near the instability surrounding the Coven. Tonight there is no partner to absorb the consequences. They have to settle the match directly.

Inside the ring, referee Fast Count Frank checks the ropes before exchanging a brief word with the timekeeper.
At the commentary position, KC Rogers looks toward the entrance stage.
KC Rogers: We are ready for our first match of the evening, and the tag team division opens Northern Belles Episode 039. The War Council, accompanied by Zeus, faces Patchwork Paige and Patchwork Paula, with the Puppetmaster at ringside.
Vera Steele: Two teams built around very different forms of control. The War Council wants to impose strength, structure and sustained pressure. Patchwork Paige and Patchwork Paula are far less conventional. Their movement can be difficult to predict, and with the Puppetmaster directing them, opponents cannot assume the obvious attack is the one coming next.
A deep roll of thunder moves through the Coliseum.
The lighting dims.
White lightning tears across a darkened sky on the enormous main screen.
A heavy orchestral rhythm begins beneath the sound of marching drums.
Zeus steps through the curtain first.
He stops at the center of the stage, dressed with the imposing ceremonial presence expected of the figure who commands the War Council.
He slowly raises one hand.
Another thunderclap strikes.
Athena emerges.
She carries herself with measured confidence, shoulders square and eyes already fixed upon the ring.
A moment later, Bellona appears beside her.
Where Athena looks controlled, Bellona projects aggression. She rolls one shoulder and stares down the aisle as though she would prefer the bell to have already sounded.
The three stand together beneath flashing white light.
Then Zeus leads them toward the ring.
KC Rogers: There is very little uncertainty surrounding the intentions of the War Council. They are not coming out here to create movement for its own sake. Athena and Bellona want control.
Vera Steele: And they achieve it in different ways. Athena is more deliberate. She establishes position before increasing pressure. Bellona is much more willing to turn a small opening into immediate impact. If they maintain clean tags, those approaches complement each other extremely well.
Zeus reaches ringside and steps to the floor beside the corner.
Athena climbs onto the apron and enters through the ropes.
Bellona follows.
Both women move toward the center before turning toward the entrance.
The arena lighting changes completely.
The white lightning disappears beneath uneven purple and amber illumination.
The main screen fills with hanging marionette strings.
A wooden puppet theatre slowly forms between them.
The curtain across the digital stage opens.
The Puppetmaster steps through the real entrance at precisely the same moment.
He moves slowly onto the stage.
Behind him come Patchwork Paige and Patchwork Paula.
The sisters move almost in synchronization, but not perfectly.
Each step is fractionally offset from the other, creating the unsettling impression that two separate sets of strings are directing them.
They stop when the Puppetmaster stops.
He raises one hand.
Both women lift their heads.
Then the trio begins toward the ring.
KC Rogers: There is always something unsettling about the presentation of Patchwork Paige and Patchwork Paula.
Vera Steele: Presentation aside, they are dangerous because they do not always operate at a conventional rhythm. Opponents prepare for recognizable transitions. These two can break those transitions simply by moving at a different time than expected.
Patchwork Paige reaches the apron first.
Patchwork Paula climbs beside her.
The Puppetmaster remains on the floor, directly between their corner and the aisle.
Across the ring, Zeus watches him carefully.
Fast Count Frank immediately looks toward both managers.
He points first toward Zeus.
Then toward the Puppetmaster.
His instruction is clear.
Remain outside the ring.
Neither man argues.
Celeste Orion steps into the center with the microphone.
Celeste Orion: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall.
The crowd responds.
Celeste Orion: Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Zeus, the team of Athena and Bellona... the WAR COUNCIL!
Athena raises one arm.
Beside her, Bellona strikes one fist against the opposite palm.
Zeus watches from ringside with complete confidence.
Celeste Orion turns toward the opposite corner.
Celeste Orion: Their opponents, accompanied by the Puppetmaster... Patchwork Paige and Patchwork Paula!
Patchwork Paige steps forward.
Patchwork Paula remains slightly behind her.
The Puppetmaster raises both hands from the floor as though presenting his creations to the Coliseum.
Celeste Orion exits the ring.
Bellona moves onto the apron for the War Council.
Patchwork Paula does the same for her team.
That leaves Athena and Patchwork Paige as the legal competitors.
Fast Count Frank checks both women.
He signals toward the timekeeper.
The bell rings.
Minute 1
Athena immediately takes the center of the ring.
Patchwork Paige circles to her left, keeping several feet between herself and the stronger opponent.
Athena reaches once for the upper body.
Patchwork Paige slips away.
They reset.
This time Athena closes the distance more quickly.
She gets both hands beneath the arms of Patchwork Paige and lifts.
Patchwork Paige attempts to shift her weight backward before the elevation is complete.
It is too late.
Athena presses her completely overhead.
The crowd reacts as Patchwork Paige is held high above the canvas.
Athena steps forward and drives her down with the Pallas Drop, the Gorilla Press Slam.
Patchwork Paige crashes hard across her back.
She immediately rolls toward the ropes, attempting to prevent a second power move.
Athena does not pursue recklessly.
Instead, she turns toward her corner.
Bellona reaches over the top rope.
The tag is made.
KC Rogers: Strong opening for Athena. Patchwork Paige tried to change her balance during the lift, but Athena already had the hips elevated. Once the Pallas Drop was established, there was very little Paige could do.
Vera Steele: The important part was what came afterward. Athena did not chase a second attack. She landed the Gorilla Press Slam and immediately transferred the advantage to Bellona. That is disciplined tag-team wrestling.
Minute 2
Bellona steps through the ropes as Patchwork Paige regains her footing.
The pace immediately changes.
Bellona charges forward.
Patchwork Paige sidesteps and sends Bellona toward the ropes.
As Bellona turns back toward the center, movement at ringside catches the referee’s attention.
Zeus steps closer to the apron and sharply calls toward Fast Count Frank.
The referee turns.
Zeus points toward the opposite corner, insisting that Patchwork Paula has entered illegally.
She has not.
For several seconds, Fast Count Frank is forced to look away from the legal competitors.
Vera Steele: Zeus has deliberately taken the referee’s attention.
KC Rogers: And Patchwork Paige is taking advantage of the opportunity.
With Bellona still recovering near the center, Patchwork Paige races toward the turnbuckles.
She climbs rapidly.
Bellona turns.
Patchwork Paige launches backward.
Moonsault.
She crashes directly across Bellona and drives her to the canvas.
The crowd erupts.
Fast Count Frank finally turns back toward the match.
Bellona rolls toward her corner before Patchwork Paige can establish a cover.
She reaches upward.
Athena takes the tag.
KC Rogers: The distraction from Zeus did not help the War Council at all. It prevented the referee from seeing the buildup, but Patchwork Paige was the one who capitalized with the Moonsault.
Vera Steele: That is the danger of introducing unnecessary variables. Bellona expected the distraction to produce an opening. Instead, she lost visual contact with Patchwork Paige and absorbed a top-rope attack.
Minute 3
Athena enters quickly.
Bellona does not immediately leave.
The tag becomes a coordinated attack.
Athena catches Patchwork Paige first.
She hooks both arms.
Patchwork Paige attempts to lower her base.

She had multiple opportunities where separation existed and never completed the tag to Patchwork Paula. Against a team as physically coordinated as Athena and Bellona, that eventually became unsustainable.
KC Rogers: And the finishing sequence showed exactly how quickly Athena can recover. She was thrown to the floor, returned at the count of six, saw that Patchwork Paige had not recovered from the first Goddess Bomb, and immediately went back to the same attack.

She looks toward Alexandra Jones.
Polly Mason: She won.
A pause.
Polly Mason: I am not going to stand here and dress it up.
Her jaw tightens.
Polly Mason: I am not going to tell you the referee counted too fast.
Polly Mason: I am not going to tell you I slipped.
Polly Mason: I am not going to tell you I would have been standing if I had one more second.
Her voice gets harder.
Polly Mason: I had ten.
The crowd becomes quieter.

She holds up one finger.

The ring has been reset following the opening contest. Referee Fast Count Frank stands near the center, checking the turnbuckles and speaking briefly with the timekeeper.
At ringside, KC Rogers looks toward the entrance stage.
KC Rogers: We move immediately back into tag team competition. Lady Isolde Blackthorne and Prioress Malveil, the Black Chapel, face Lady Guinevere and Mother Earth.
Vera Steele: And there are two important presences outside the ring. Prince John accompanies the Black Chapel. Merlin stands with Lady Guinevere and Mother Earth. Both men are capable of influencing decision-making without ever becoming legal competitors.
The arena lights dim.
Black-and-silver illumination spreads slowly across the stage.
The enormous screen transforms into the interior of a dark medieval cathedral.

He wears elaborate dark royal attire accented with gold, carrying himself with the smug authority of a man who believes the room already belongs to him.
He stops at the center of the stage.
Behind him, two figures emerge.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne comes first.
Her posture is elegant and severe. Dark noble attire frames her like ceremonial armor, and her expression remains cold as she surveys the ring.
Beside her walks Prioress Malveil.
Black-and-silver entrance attire hangs sharply from her shoulders. Her hands remain folded calmly in front of her. There is no visible frustration from her recent submission loss to Mina Harker.
Only focus.
Prince John begins walking.
The Black Chapel follows several steps behind.
KC Rogers: Prioress Malveil was defeated by Mina Harker two weeks ago, but there is nothing tentative about her tonight.
Vera Steele: Nor should there be. One loss does not invalidate her strengths. Prioress Malveil remains extremely dangerous once she controls the head and neck. The issue tonight is whether she and Lady Isolde Blackthorne can maintain that control against two opponents with very different physical profiles.

The legendary wizard carries his staff in one hand, his expression thoughtful as he looks beyond his own team toward Prince John.
KC Rogers: An unusual combination, but potentially a very effective one. Lady Guinevere brings discipline, timing and technical control. Mother Earth brings tremendous strength.
Vera Steele: And that difference can make them difficult to prepare for. If the tags are timed correctly, the Black Chapel will have to repeatedly adjust from precision to power.

Vera Steele: The Neckbreaker was clean and effective. The problem came afterward. Lady Isolde Blackthorne allowed the movement from Merlin to interrupt her concentration. Whether you call it a curse or a distraction, the competitive effect is the same.

That draws another roar.

Her expression remains composed.
Lilith: Moonshadow did something these two did not.
She points first toward Velora Synn.

Three security officers finally pull Lilith toward one side of the interview area.

The entire backstage area seems to quiet around her.

Blood has begun to show slightly at the corner of her lip.

For the first time since entering the scene, Velora Synn’s expression changes.

A beat.
Crimson Vane: Now you have all of it.
Security begins dragging her backward.

She disappears into the corridor.
The crowd inside the arena roars.
On the opposite side of the interview area, Lilith is finally released by security.
She immediately retrieves the Queen of the North Championship from the floor.
She looks toward the corridor where Crimson Vane disappeared.
Then toward Velora Synn.
Then Emberlyn Black.
Then the screen displaying the name of Moonshadow.
One champion.
Three immediate threats.
And one former champion who has just declared something much larger.
KC Rogers: The Queen of the North Championship picture was already volatile. It may now be on the verge of becoming uncontrollable.
Vera Steele: Lilith has the championship, but look at the situation surrounding her. Moonshadow owns the official title opportunity. Emberlyn Black and Velora Synn have physically targeted her. Crimson Vane clearly considers her business with Count Vlad unfinished. And now she has invoked the Hunters Enclave and the Infernal Legion.
KC Rogers: And perhaps the most striking part of that entire confrontation was what Emberlyn Black and Velora Synn did when Crimson Vane attacked.

Inside the ring, referee Honest Abe checks the ropes before speaking briefly with the timekeeper.
At the commentary desk, KC Rogers adjusts her headset.
KC Rogers: Somehow we have to turn our attention back to competition after what just happened backstage, and Match Four brings us an intriguing singles contest. Dark Duchess, the Queen of Spades, faces Rapunzel.
Vera Steele: And this is an important match for both women. Rapunzel wants to keep herself moving forward in a division where championship opportunities are becoming increasingly competitive. Dark Duchess has the technical tools to slow that momentum considerably.
KC Rogers: And Dark Duchess will have Dark Hatter at ringside.
Vera Steele: Which means Rapunzel has to maintain awareness beyond the ropes without allowing that awareness to become distraction. That distinction sounds small. In a competitive environment, it is enormous.
The arena lighting begins to dim.
Golden light disappears.
Black spreads across the entrance stage.
A single playing card rotates slowly across the enormous main screen.

The card turns.
Its edges begin burning with dark violet flame.
The image expands until the entire screen becomes an ornate black royal court.
A slow, ominous orchestral theme begins.
Dark Hatter steps through the curtain first.
He does not acknowledge the crowd.
He steps to one side.
Dark Duchess emerges.
The Queen of Spades walks onto the stage with regal severity.
Black and deep purple dominate her entrance attire. Silver details run along the edges like sharpened decoration rather than ornament.
She stops beside Dark Hatter.
Neither speaks.
Dark Duchess lifts her chin and looks directly toward the ring.
Then they begin down the aisle.
KC Rogers: Dark Duchess does not waste much energy presenting herself to the audience. Everything about this entrance is directed toward the woman waiting at the end of it.
Vera Steele: That suits her style. She wants positional control. She wants to manipulate the head, neck and shoulders. The more deliberate she can make the match, the more dangerous she becomes.
At ringside, Dark Hatter takes his position on the floor.
Dark Duchess climbs onto the apron.
She pauses.

The golden lighting catches the details of her ring attire as she looks around Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum.

KC Rogers: Listen to the response for Rapunzel.
Vera Steele: And notice the change in expression once she saw Dark Duchess. Enjoying the entrance is one thing. Once she reaches that ring, she knows the pace has to change immediately.
Rapunzel reaches ringside.
She briefly looks toward Dark Hatter
He stares back.
No words are exchanged.
Rapunzel climbs onto the apron and steps through the ropes.
She moves toward the center.
Dark Duchess meets her there.
Honest Abe immediately steps between both women.
He gives his instructions.
Then he turns toward Dark Hatter.
Honest Abe points toward the floor and makes clear that Dark Hatter is expected to remain outside the ring.

KC Rogers: A major announcement tonight. A Women’s Convergent Championship, created jointly through NPCW and Heritage Championship Wrestling, and Northern Belles will spend the coming weeks determining who represents NPCW at Convergence.
Vera Steele: And consider the path required just to reach that championship match. You first have to survive a twenty-woman Battle Royal. That is a completely different competitive environment from a singles match. Position matters. Awareness matters. One mistake near the ropes can eliminate someone before endurance ever becomes relevant.
KC Rogers: Then the four Battle Royal winners move into semifinal competition.

The atmosphere inside the building has changed.
The announcement of the Women’s Convergent Championship still hangs over the division, but now the lighting darkens and the giant Northern Belles emblem above the entrance stage fades into shadow.
Inside the ring, Honest Abe checks the ropes before speaking briefly with the timekeeper.
Celeste Orion stands near the center with microphone in hand.
At the commentary desk, KC Rogers looks toward the entrance stage.
KC Rogers: It is time for tonight’s main event, and there may not be a championship attached to this match, but the implications surrounding it are substantial. Wicked Witch faces Grizelda.
Vera Steele: And this has moved beyond an ordinary rivalry. Wicked Witch has already suffered a submission loss to La Bruja Muerte, and two weeks ago she failed to win the Queen of the North Number One Contender Fatal Four-Way. Grizelda has made it increasingly clear that she sees instability inside the Coven and intends to exploit it.
Green fire spreads across the stage.
The arena darkens beneath sickly emerald light.
Twisted trees rise across the enormous main screen as a deep bell tolls.
A silhouette appears through rolling smoke.
Wicked Witch steps through the curtain.
She stops beneath the entrance arch.
Tall.
Severe.
Controlled.
There is no exaggerated movement and no acknowledgment of the hostile reaction rolling through the Coliseum.
Her eyes remain fixed on the ring.
KC Rogers: There is a great deal of pressure on Wicked Witch tonight.
Vera Steele: And she cannot wrestle as though she is trying to erase every recent loss with one move. That creates impatience. She has to remain disciplined and treat Grizelda as the immediate problem.
Wicked Witch begins down the aisle.
Green light follows her toward ringside.
She climbs onto the apron and steps through the ropes.
She moves directly to the center.
The lights change.
Green becomes deep violet.
A crooked village appears across the main screen beneath a bruised purple sky.
Lanterns begin swinging despite the absence of wind.
A low cackle travels through the sound system.
Then the music begins.
Grizelda steps through the curtain.
She pauses.
A crooked smile appears immediately when she sees Wicked Witch waiting in the ring.
The crowd reacts loudly.
Grizelda slowly raises both hands as though presenting the woman standing across from her.
Then she starts toward the ring.
KC Rogers: There is confidence in Grizelda tonight.
Vera Steele: Confidence is useful only if it remains attached to execution. Wicked Witch is physically dangerous, experienced, and capable of ending a match through both impact and submission. Grizelda cannot allow the larger conflict surrounding the Coven to make her careless.
Grizelda reaches ringside.
She circles one corner before climbing onto the apron.
She looks directly toward Wicked Witch.
The smile remains.
She enters.
Both women immediately move toward the center.
Honest Abe steps between them before either can close the remaining distance.
Celeste Orion raises the microphone.
Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is tonight’s MAIN EVENT and is scheduled for one fall!
The Coliseum erupts.
Celeste Orion: Introducing first... WICKED WITCH!
Green light flashes across the arena.
Wicked Witch raises her chin but otherwise remains motionless.
Celeste Orion turns.
Celeste Orion: Her opponent... GRIZELDA!
Grizelda spreads her arms.
The crowd responds loudly.
Celeste Orion exits the ring.
Honest Abe brings both women forward.
He gives his final instructions.
Neither breaks eye contact.

Wicked Witch closes first and catches Grizelda around the waist.

This time Grizelda sees it.
She steps backward at the last possible moment.
Wicked Witch adjusts in the air but cannot land cleanly.

KC Rogers: Grizelda neutralizes the Winged Monkey Bomb.
Vera Steele: And that may matter later. The first Crossbody worked. Wicked Witch repeated it without changing the setup. Grizelda had already seen the timing.

She catches Grizelda as she moves forward.

Wicked Witch pulls Grizelda upright.
She catches the head and rotates through a Swinging Neckbreaker.
Grizelda lands hard.
But as Wicked Witch rises, Grizelda rolls toward her.
She catches the head.

The sudden movement drives Wicked Witch into the mat.
The crowd responds.
KC Rogers: Swinging Neckbreaker answered by the Flying DDT.
Vera Steele: Grizelda is doing an excellent job attacking during Wicked Witch’s recovery. She is not always winning the first exchange, but she is preventing Wicked Witch from owning the second.

She takes the hair again.

Honest Abe warns her immediately.
Grizelda maintains control.

Vera Steele: And this time Wicked Witch never generated an answer. The head and neck have now absorbed several high-impact attacks followed by repeated forced rotation.

Both women stand near the center.
Neither moves immediately.
Grizelda breaks the hesitation.

The strike lands across Wicked Witch’s upper chest.
Another step forward.
A second sharp strike forces Wicked Witch backward.
She tries to raise her guard.

KC Rogers: Grizelda is starting to dictate where these exchanges occur.
Vera Steele: Because she has stopped chasing the larger move. She is using simple strikes to force Wicked Witch backward and disrupt the stance. That is often more effective than searching constantly for a finish.

Wicked Witch suddenly creates distance.
She runs toward the ropes.
She climbs.

This time it lands.
Grizelda is driven backward by the Diving Crossbody.
But as both women scramble upright, Grizelda plants one foot.

The boot drives into Wicked Witch’s chest again.

KC Rogers: Winged Monkey Bomb connects, and somehow Grizelda still answers with another Witch’s Spike Kick.
Vera Steele: That is resilience, but it is also good spatial awareness. Grizelda knew Wicked Witch would rise in front of her after the Crossbody. She attacked before either woman was fully reset.

Wicked Witch pushes herself upright first.
She catches Grizelda around the waist.
Emerald Execution.
The Spinebuster drives Grizelda into the canvas.
The crowd reacts.
Grizelda forces herself onto one elbow.
She catches Wicked Witch approaching.

The strike lands.
Wicked Witch absorbs it.

Honest Abe immediately begins counting.
Wicked Witch catches the wrist.
She turns.
The choke is broken.

The reversal drives Grizelda hard into the mat.
The audience applauds the sequence.

Vera Steele: That was the most technically important minute of the match. Both women were reading transitions rather than moves. Wicked Witch won the final exchange because she changed from controlling the head to controlling the entire body.

Grizelda rolls toward the ropes.

KC Rogers: Witch’s Wrath does not get fully established.
Vera Steele: Excellent defense from Grizelda. She reacted before both control points were secured. Once the upper body and legs are trapped simultaneously, escaping becomes exponentially more difficult.

Wicked Witch repeatedly found success with power, but Grizelda became increasingly effective at attacking during the transition into those larger moves. In the final minute, she recognized the Gutwrench lift early enough to escape and immediately attacked before Wicked Witch could reset.

She extends one hand.

She looks toward them.

The crowd reacts.

A roar rises from the audience.

The word hangs in the air.

Her expression is furious.

Grizelda turns back toward Morrigan and Wicked Willow.

The crowd responds loudly.

She taps one finger against her own chest.

The crowd grows louder.

At the entrance, Morrigan and Wicked Willow exchange a look.

Honest Abe blocks her path.
Grizelda never looks away from the women on the stage.

She raises one finger.

The crowd quiets enough to hear every word.

She points toward herself.

A pause.
Grizelda: Or you can be exiled from the Coven.
A loud reaction moves through the building.
Morrigan’s expression hardens.
Wicked Willow remains almost unnervingly still.
KC Rogers: That is an ultimatum.
Vera Steele: And Grizelda is attempting to turn one victory into a transfer of authority over the entire Coven.

The two women are separated only by Honest Abe.

Vera Steele: The victory gives her leverage. It does not automatically give her authority. That decision now falls to Morrigan, Wicked Willow, and perhaps most importantly Wicked Witch herself.

A pause.
Vera Steele: It is about whether anyone still recognizes her authority.
The camera tightens on Wicked Witch.
Her expression shifts from anger to something colder.
The Northern Belles logo begins forming in the corner of the screen as the main event ends.
The broadcast returns to a wide shot of Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum.
The lights have risen following the main event, but Wicked Witch is still visible at ringside making her way toward the entrance.
There is no Morrigan beside her.

At the top of the aisle, the two members of the Coven have already disappeared backstage without giving Grizelda an answer.
The camera returns to the commentary desk.
KC Rogers: What a night this has been on the first Northern Belles after Fallout. Championships have changed the direction of this division, new opportunities have been created, and our main event may have begun a fight over the existence of the Coven itself.
Vera Steele: And very little was resolved quietly. We came into tonight with Fallout still influencing almost every major story in this division. We leave with even more pressure surrounding several of them.

KC Rogers: And the conflict has now expanded beyond the championship itself with Crimson Vane’s warning on behalf of the Hunters Enclave.
