Rudolph charges through an opponent with explosive force, his hardened black half-face mask covering one eye and his shortened metal-tipped antlers catching the arena lights.
The music begins to build.
Grondar the Revenant raises the North Pole Championship.
Rudolph stares directly toward him from across the ring.
Rapid flashes cut between them.
Grondar the Revenant standing beside the Frost Giants.
Rudolph fighting alongside Donner and Blitzen.
Grondar the Revenant crushing an opponent beneath his power.
Rudolph launching himself forward without hesitation.
The screen cuts to black.
A deep bell tolls.
Master of the Night slowly raises his head beneath the darkness.
The image immediately cuts to Santa Claus, standing beneath brilliant white light with his eyes fixed forward.
Another flash.
The Crimson Maulers tear into Santa Claus.
Master of the Night watches.
Santa Claus fights back.
The music accelerates.
Infernus Rex steps over the top rope and turns toward the camera, his enormous frame filling the screen.
Flames erupt behind him.
A succession of violent images follows.
Infernus Rex driving an opponent into the mat.
Master of the Night extending one hand from the shadows.
Santa Claus throwing a heavy right hand.
Rudolph lowering his metal-tipped antlers.
Grondar the Revenant clutching the North Pole Championship against his chest.
The North Pole Arena suddenly fills the screen beneath brilliant blue-white lighting.
Thousands of fans rise as snow-like sparks fall above the entrance stage.
Voice-over:
“The darkness has come north.”
A flash of Master of the Night.
“But hope still stands.”
Santa Claus looks directly into the camera.
“Power holds the throne.”
Grondar the Revenant raises the North Pole Championship.
“And tonight…”
Rudolph steps forward.
“…the challenger comes for it.”
The music reaches its peak.
Infernus Rex roars beneath a burst of fire.
Santa Claus raises his fists.
Master of the Night disappears into darkness.
Rudolph charges.
Grondar the Revenant braces for impact.
The POLAR POWER logo slams onto the screen as ice fractures outward.
Voice-over:

The logo holds for one final beat.
The broadcast cuts live to the North Pole Arena.
The broadcast cuts to a sweeping live shot of the North Pole Arena.
Blue-white spotlights move across the packed stands.
The crowd is already on its feet.
A loud chant rolls through the building.
“RU-DOLPH!”
“RU-DOLPH!”
The camera finds several fans wearing shortened imitation antlers and black half-masks.
Another section answers with heavy boos as a fan raises a replica North Pole Championship beside a sign reading:

The camera sweeps down toward ringside.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels and Eddie Ellington sit behind the commentary desk.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Welcome live to the North Pole Arena! Welcome to Polar Power! I am Johnny Michaels, alongside Eddie Ellington, and tonight may be one of the most consequential nights we have seen in the Polar Division in a very long time.
Eddie Ellington: Consequential for some people. Painful for others. Possibly both if your name happens to be Rudolph or Santa Claus.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: We will get to both of those matches, but first, what a week it has been since we were last together.
A highlight appears on the arena screen.
Ursa Titania raises the Aurora Championship while Marcus the Beastmaster stands beside her.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Last Saturday, Ursa Titania ended the reign of Valka and became the new Aurora Champion.
Eddie Ellington: Exactly as I predicted.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: After Marcus the Beastmaster attacked Valka behind the referee’s back.
Eddie Ellington: You always have to spoil a perfectly good championship celebration with details.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: They are fairly important details.
Eddie Ellington: The only detail that matters is who walked out holding the championship. That was Ursa Titania.
The screen changes.
Wilber “Terrorfang” Townsend stands with the Northern Lights Championship raised while Peter Cottontail watches from inside the ring.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And Wilber “Terrorfang” Townsend survived perhaps the closest challenge of his Northern Lights Championship reign against Peter Cottontail.
Eddie Ellington: Survived is the right word. Peter Cottontail had him in trouble, and I mean real trouble.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Peter proved that he belongs in that championship picture.
Eddie Ellington: He proved something else too. The champion can be beaten. Everybody watching that match saw it.
The highlight disappears.
The live crowd fills the screen again.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: But tonight we begin with six matches, and every one of them carries its own implications.
A graphic appears.
GLINT GRIMM VS ASTRID IRONVALE
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: We begin with Glint Grimm going one-on-one with Astrid Ironvale.
Eddie Ellington: Now that is an interesting one. Astrid Ironvale has already shown she did not come here to ease herself into anything. She wants competition, she wants attention, and beating Glint Grimm will get both.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Glint Grimm has never been an easy opponent to solve.
Eddie Ellington: Nobody said easy. I said useful. Beat somebody difficult and people remember your name.
The graphic changes.
POLLY MASON VS LA BRUJA MUERTE
NON-TITLE MATCH
The crowd cheers loudly at the sight of the Queen of the North Champion.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Queen of the North Champion Polly Mason will also be in action tonight against La Bruja Muerte. The championship is not on the line.
Eddie Ellington: Which means this is a wonderful opportunity for La Bruja Muerte. She does not need to win a championship tonight. She only needs to beat the woman carrying it.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And a victory over Polly Mason would certainly make a powerful argument for a future title opportunity.
Eddie Ellington: Exactly. Champions love calling these non-title matches until they lose one. Then suddenly everybody wants to discuss technicalities.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Polly Mason has never been someone who backs away from competition.
Eddie Ellington: That sounds admirable until somebody beats you and spends the next month reminding everyone that they pinned the champion.
The graphic changes again.
POLAR BEAR 1 VS JOLLY GREEN
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: We will also see Polar Bear 1 in singles competition against Jolly Green.
Eddie Ellington: That is not a wrestling match. That is a structural integrity test for the ring.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Two enormously powerful competitors.
Eddie Ellington: Exactly. Whoever reinforced those turnbuckles deserves hazard pay.

MIRROR SAINTS VS POLAR BEARS 2 & 3
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And later tonight, tag team competition as the Mirror Saints meet Polar Bear 2 and Polar Bear 3.
Eddie Ellington: Completely different problem for the Mirror Saints. They can be clever, they can move, they can create angles, but sooner or later one of those Bears gets his hands on you.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Mirror Saints have built their reputation on coordination.
Eddie Ellington: Coordination is excellent. So is not being thrown through the canvas.
The arena lighting dims slightly as the next graphic appears.
The North Pole Championship fills the center of the screen.
On one side stands Rudolph.
On the other stands Grondar the Revenant, with Magnus Blackwell behind him.
The crowd becomes considerably louder.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And then we arrive at the match this building has been waiting for.
The chant begins again.
“RU-DOLPH!”
“RU-DOLPH!”
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The North Pole Championship will be defended tonight. Grondar the Revenant puts the title on the line against Rudolph.
Eddie Ellington: And I hope everybody chanting remembers what happened seven nights ago.
Footage rolls.
Grondar the Revenant stands over one of Rudolph’s fallen partners as the referee completes the count.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Last week gave the champion the victory, but it did not give him Rudolph.
Eddie Ellington: That is some impressive rewriting of history. Rudolph brought backup. Grondar brought backup. At the end of the night, Grondar’s team won.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: But every time Rudolph looked across that ring at the champion, you could feel what tonight meant.
Footage shows Rudolph, his black half-face mask covering one eye, staring directly at Grondar.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Rudolph fought his way back from injury. He returned with those antlers shortened and reinforced, that protective mask over his damaged eye, and one objective above everything else.
Eddie Ellington: Revenge.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The North Pole Championship.
Eddie Ellington: Revenge first. Championship second. And that is exactly why Magnus Blackwell has been smiling all week.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Explain that.
Eddie Ellington: Because Grondar does not need to hate Rudolph. He does not need revenge. He does not need closure. He only needs to beat him. Rudolph is walking into the biggest match of his career carrying months of anger with him.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: That anger may be exactly what brought him back here.
Eddie Ellington: Anger gets you into fights. It does not necessarily win championships.
The graphic remains for another moment before disappearing.
Then the lights on the arena screen turn black.

The reaction surges again.

Santa Claus looks directly into the camera.
Then Brakk Bloodmaw crashes into him from the side.
Vereyk Nightclaw joins the attack.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Last week, Santa Claus gave Master of the Night exactly the answer he demanded.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Tonight, in our main event, Santa Claus goes one-on-one with Master of the Night.
The crowd erupts.
Eddie Ellington: And this time there are no messages. No interviews. No speeches about hope. Santa Claus has to stand in the ring with the man who has been reaching into every dark corner of this division.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Master of the Night wanted Santa Claus.
Eddie Ellington: Be careful what you celebrate.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Because tonight he gets him.
The camera pulls back from the commentary desk.
The North Pole Arena is standing.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Six matches. The Queen of the North Champion in action. The North Pole Championship on the line. And Santa Claus against Master of the Night in our main event.
Eddie Ellington: Championships, monsters, reindeer, witches, giants and Santa Claus picking fights with darkness. Just another perfectly reasonable Saturday night at the North Pole.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Polar Power starts right now!
The crowd roars as the camera turns toward the entrance stage.
The lights inside the North Pole Arena dim.
A pale silver glow spreads across the entrance stage.
A low, haunting rhythm begins as drifting mist rolls along the floor.
Glint Grimm steps through the curtain.
She pauses beneath the lights.
No smile.
No gesture toward the crowd.
She simply turns her head toward the ring and begins walking.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Glint Grimm has built a reputation around precision. She does not waste much movement, and when she finds the neck or the back, she can string offense together very quickly.
Eddie Ellington: And she has experience, Johnny. That matters tonight. Everybody is excited about Astrid Ironvale, but excitement does not replace knowing how to survive twenty or thirty minutes in this ring.
Glint Grimm reaches ringside, climbs onto the apron, and steps between the ropes.
She walks directly toward her corner and stretches one arm across the top rope.
The lighting changes.
A heavy metallic drumbeat begins.
White light floods the entrance stage.
Astrid Ironvale emerges.
The crowd gives her a strong reaction.
She stops at the top of the aisle, shoulders squared, then raises one arm briefly.
Nothing exaggerated.
She lowers it and starts toward the ring.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Two weeks ago, Astrid Ironvale made an immediate impression in her Polar Power debut. Strength, confidence, and absolutely no hesitation.
Eddie Ellington: She also learned quickly that everybody here hits back. That is the part newcomers sometimes forget.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: She certainly did not look overwhelmed.
Eddie Ellington: Neither did the iceberg until the ship arrived.
Astrid Ironvale reaches ringside.
She climbs the steps and enters through the ropes.
Glint Grimm watches from the opposite corner.
Astrid Ironvale walks toward the center.
“Honest” Abe immediately steps between them.
Celeste Orion enters the ring with microphone in hand.
Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty-minute time limit!
The crowd cheers.
Celeste Orion: Introducing first... Glint Grimm!
Glint Grimm steps out of her corner and gives a short stare toward the hard camera.
Celeste Orion: And her opponent... from Ironvale Ridge... the Iron Maiden of the Vale... Astrid Ironvale!
The crowd responds loudly.
Astrid Ironvale raises one fist.
Celeste Orion exits the ring.
“Honest” Abe calls both competitors toward the center.
He gives final instructions.
Neither woman looks away from the other.
They separate.
The referee signals.
The bell rings.
Minute 1
Glint Grimm immediately closes distance before Astrid Ironvale can establish her power.
Glint Grimm catches Astrid Ironvale by the head, turns sharply, and drops backward with Death’s Whisper, driving her into the canvas with a reverse DDT.
Astrid Ironvale tries to brace and pull herself free during the rotation, but Glint Grimm has the head secured too tightly.
Astrid Ironvale hits hard.
Glint Grimm rolls to one knee and watches her rise.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Excellent opening from Glint Grimm. She went directly after the head and neck before Astrid Ironvale could impose her strength.
Eddie Ellington: That is experience. Do not stand around admiring the newcomer. Put her on her head before she gets comfortable.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Astrid tried to stop the rotation, but Glint had Death’s Whisper locked in cleanly.
Eddie Ellington: And now Astrid knows this is not another introduction. The match has started.
Minute 2
Astrid Ironvale rises and advances.
Glint Grimm gives ground for only a moment.
Then she suddenly springs upward.
Both knees catch Astrid Ironvale across the chest and jaw.
Gravebite.
The Codebreaker snaps Astrid Ironvale backward onto the canvas.
Astrid had started to bring her arms up defensively, but she is a fraction too late.
Glint Grimm gets back to her feet first.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Gravebite connects, and Glint Grimm has controlled the opening two minutes.
Eddie Ellington: She is making Astrid react. That is important. Big powerful wrestlers love deciding the pace. Glint has not allowed that yet.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Two attacks, both directly through the center.
Eddie Ellington: And both around the head and upper body. There is a plan here.
Minute 3
Glint Grimm sees Astrid Ironvale getting upright and charges for Veil Breaker.
Astrid Ironvale reads the running clothesline.
She catches the attacking arm, redirects Glint Grimm’s momentum, and sends her toward the ropes.
Glint Grimm turns back.
Astrid Ironvale charges.
Running hip attack.
The impact drives Glint Grimm backward and sends her to the canvas.
The crowd reacts loudly.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: There is the answer from Astrid Ironvale! She reverses Veil Breaker and turns the entire exchange around.
Eddie Ellington: That was much better. Glint Grimm got predictable. Three straight minutes of charging the same opponent will eventually get you caught.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And Astrid used Glint’s own momentum to create the opening.
Eddie Ellington: Exactly. Strength is dangerous. Strength with timing is worse.
Minute 4
Both women rise quickly.
Glint Grimm attacks first.
She leaps and drives both knees into Astrid Ironvale with another Gravebite.
Astrid stumbles backward but stays upright long enough to turn.
As Glint Grimm moves back toward her, Astrid Ironvale whips one leg upward.
Axe kick.
The heel crashes down across Glint Grimm’s upper back and shoulder.
Both women stagger away from the exchange.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Gravebite from Glint, axe kick from Astrid! Neither woman giving up ground now.
Eddie Ellington: And that is where Glint needs to be careful. She is landing clean offense, but Astrid is answering with heavier impact.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Glint Grimm may have the faster combinations.
Eddie Ellington: Speed is wonderful until somebody drops a leg across the back of your skull.
Minute 5
Glint Grimm approaches cautiously.
Astrid Ironvale steps underneath her center of gravity.
She hooks Glint and launches her overhead.
Bridging fallaway slam.
Glint Grimm crashes across her shoulders as Astrid Ironvale holds the bridge momentarily before releasing.
Glint Grimm rolls toward the ropes.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: What power from Astrid Ironvale! She took Glint Grimm off her feet and launched her.
Eddie Ellington: That is the danger. Glint controlled the first two minutes, but now Astrid has finally gotten her hands around her.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And that fallaway slam changes the physical tone of this match.
Eddie Ellington: You cannot finesse gravity.
Minute 6
Glint Grimm comes back firing.
She slips behind Astrid Ironvale, locks around the waist, and throws her with Specter Snap.
German suplex.
Astrid Ironvale lands hard but immediately rolls through.
Glint Grimm starts to rise.
Astrid catches both arms.
She drives Glint Grimm down with the Ironfall Driver.
The underhook slam driver plants Glint into the canvas.
The crowd surges.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Specter Snap from Glint Grimm, but Astrid Ironvale comes right back with the Ironfall Driver!
Eddie Ellington: That was a statement. Glint throws her and Astrid gets back up angry.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Ironfall Driver landed with enormous force.
Eddie Ellington: And now we find out how much of that neck work from the opening minutes still matters, because Glint’s own neck just took a beating.
Minute 7
Glint Grimm forces herself upright.
She waits for Astrid Ironvale to turn.
Glint springs onto her back and drives both knees into the spine.
Echo of Betrayal.
Astrid Ironvale drops forward.
Glint Grimm tries to follow.
But Astrid recovers, catches her around the body, and sends her flying again with another bridging fallaway slam.
Both women remain down briefly.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Echo of Betrayal connects, but Astrid answers with another fallaway slam!
Eddie Ellington: That is becoming the story. Glint Grimm keeps landing, but she cannot keep Astrid Ironvale from answering.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And every answer from Astrid requires Glint to absorb tremendous impact.
Eddie Ellington: Precision versus punishment. We will see which one runs out first.
Minute 8
Both women circle.
Neither commits.
Glint Grimm feints toward the waist.
Astrid Ironvale backs away.
Astrid steps forward.
Glint slips outside her reach.
For several seconds, each woman refuses to provide the other with an opening.
Then Glint Grimm suddenly shoots behind Astrid Ironvale.
She lifts.
Moonlit Crossing.
The bridging Northern Lights suplex drives Astrid onto her shoulders.
“Honest” Abe drops.
One!
Two!
Astrid Ironvale powers out.
Both women scramble upward.
Astrid charges immediately and blasts Glint Grimm with another running hip attack.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: First cover of the match! Moonlit Crossing nearly gave Glint Grimm the victory!
Eddie Ellington: Nearly. And look what happened afterward. Astrid got up and ran straight through her.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: But Glint forced the first serious two-count.
Eddie Ellington: Which means Astrid now knows she cannot get careless for even a second.
Minute 9
Glint Grimm catches Astrid Ironvale coming forward.
Gravebite.
The Codebreaker snaps Astrid’s head and shoulders backward.
Glint tries to capitalize.
But Astrid Ironvale rises, grabs Glint, turns her upside down, and spikes her into the canvas with a piledriver.
Glint Grimm collapses flat.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Gravebite lands again, but what a response! Spike piledriver from Astrid Ironvale!
Eddie Ellington: That is what I mean by punishment. Glint keeps winning individual exchanges and then getting dropped on her head.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Neither woman has established sustained control.
Eddie Ellington: No, but Astrid is making every mistake hurt.
Minute 10
Glint Grimm catches Astrid Ironvale as she closes.
She hooks her and drives her down with Soul Scoop.
The scoop slam puts Astrid flat on her back.
Glint moves toward her.
Astrid Ironvale rises faster than expected.
She plants.
Axe kick.
Glint Grimm is driven down again.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Soul Scoop from Glint Grimm, immediately answered by the axe kick.
Eddie Ellington: Glint cannot admire anything tonight. Every time she gets half a breath, Astrid takes it away.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Still, those repeated takedowns are accumulating.
Eddie Ellington: On both of them.
Minute 11
Glint Grimm rebounds from the ropes.
Veil Breaker.
The running clothesline catches Astrid Ironvale cleanly and knocks her down.
Glint turns to follow.
But Astrid rises.
She catches Glint Grimm around the waist, turns her, and spikes her with another piledriver.
Glint folds onto the canvas.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Veil Breaker finally lands cleanly, but again Astrid Ironvale comes right back with that piledriver.
Eddie Ellington: Glint Grimm is winning seconds. Astrid is trying to win the match.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: You cannot dismiss how much offense Glint has landed.
Eddie Ellington: I am not dismissing it. I am counting how many times she has been dumped on her head afterward.
Minute 12
Astrid Ironvale moves in.
Glint Grimm spins behind her.
Echo of Betrayal.
Both knees bury into Astrid’s back.
Astrid Ironvale drops to the mat and rolls onto her side.
This time there is no immediate answer.
Glint Grimm stays close and watches her carefully.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Echo of Betrayal, and finally Glint Grimm stops the immediate counterattack.
Eddie Ellington: Smart. Attack the back. Astrid needs that back for the fallaway slam and the Ironfall Driver.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: That may be the first sign of accumulated damage showing.
Eddie Ellington: Or she is taking three seconds to remember where she is. Either way, Glint should keep attacking.
Minute 13
Astrid Ironvale creates separation.
She climbs.
Glint Grimm starts to rise.
Astrid launches.
Diving headbutt.
She crashes directly into Glint Grimm’s upper body and drives her flat.
Both women feel the impact.
Astrid pushes herself up first.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Diving headbutt from Astrid Ironvale!
Eddie Ellington: Dangerous move, but when you have a skull like a battering ram, apparently you use it.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Astrid put her own body at risk to stop Glint’s momentum.
Eddie Ellington: That tells you she respects what Glint has been doing.
Minute 14
Glint Grimm slips behind Astrid Ironvale again.
Specter Snap.
The German suplex sends Astrid across her shoulders.
Glint rises.
Astrid Ironvale turns quickly and races forward.
Running hip attack.
The strike drives Glint Grimm back into the turnbuckles.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Another Specter Snap, another immediate response from Astrid!
Eddie Ellington: Glint is wrestling a woman who refuses to stay down long enough for anything to become momentum.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: But Astrid is being forced to recover from a tremendous number of throws.
Eddie Ellington: Then Glint better hope thirty of them work, because twenty apparently have not.
Minute 15
Glint Grimm comes off the ropes.
Veil Breaker.
The running clothesline drives Astrid Ironvale down.
Astrid rolls through.
She regains her footing.
Glint turns.
Running hip attack.
Both women crash to the canvas after the collision.
The crowd applauds the exchange.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Fifteen minutes gone, and they are still answering almost everything the other throws.
Eddie Ellington: And now conditioning matters. Anybody can look dangerous for five minutes. Do it after fifteen minutes of suplexes, piledrivers, Codebreakers, and hip attacks.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Neither competitor has allowed fatigue to create hesitation.

The crowd applauds both women as the broadcast prepares to move on.

Smooth Samantha Satin stands beneath the illuminated Polar Power emblem wearing a very short deep-black dress, polished heels, and silver earrings. Her microphone rests lightly in one hand.
Standing beside her is Magnus Blackwell.
Beside Magnus Blackwell stands the North Pole Champion.
Grondar the Revenant.
The North Pole Championship rests over Grondar’s shoulder.
He does not acknowledge the camera.
He does not acknowledge Smooth Samantha.
He simply stands there, enormous and motionless.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Ladies and gentlemen, later tonight the North Pole Championship will be defended when Grondar the Revenant faces the number-one contender, Rudolph.
A loud reaction can be heard from inside the arena.
Magnus Blackwell gives the faintest smile.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Magnus, this rivalry has become increasingly personal. Rudolph fought his way back from a serious injury, confronted you and Grondar, and demanded this opportunity. He glances toward Grondar.

The arena erupts in boos.

A slight pause.

Her expression has hardened.
The camera lingers on the empty corridor for another beat before the broadcast cuts away.
The lights inside the North Pole Arena dim.
A low drumbeat begins.
Purple light spreads across the entrance stage as smoke curls along the floor.
Grizelda steps through the curtain first.
She raises one hand slowly.
Behind her, La Bruja Muerte emerges.
The crowd responds with loud boos.
La Bruja Muerte pauses beneath the purple lighting before spreading her arms and staring toward the ring.
Eddie Ellington: Now we are talking, Johnny. Forget the championship for a moment. La Bruja Muerte has an opportunity tonight to beat the Queen of the North Champion without needing to worry about taking the title home.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And beating Polly Mason in any circumstance would certainly place La Bruja Muerte directly into the championship conversation.

Eddie Ellington: And somehow stole the victory.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: He did not steal anything. He hit a belly-to-belly suplex and pinned him cleanly.
Eddie Ellington: I still do not like it.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: That does not change the result.

He raises one arm as he starts up the aisle.
Inside the ring, Polar Bear 1 sits upright.
He looks toward the departing winner.
His expression is anything but satisfied.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: A hard-earned victory for Jolly Green.
Eddie Ellington: Enjoy it now. I have a feeling Polar Bear 1 is going to remember every second of this.
The camera alternates between Jolly Green on the aisle and Polar Bear 1 staring after him as the broadcast prepares to continue.
The broadcast cuts backstage.
The interview area is lit in cool white and deep blue.
Smooth Samantha Satin stands with microphone in hand.
Beside her is Rudolph.
The crowd inside the arena erupts the instant he appears on screen.
His look is immediately different.
The bruising that once lingered around his face is gone.
Both antlers have been shaved down shorter and now end in sharpened metal tips.
Most striking of all, the old eyepatch is gone.
In its place sits a hard black half mask that covers one side of his face and completely shields the injured eye.
A heavy chain hangs around his neck.
He stands square to the camera, jaw tight, eyes locked forward.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the number-one contender for the North Pole Championship... Rudolph.
The crowd can still be heard cheering from inside the arena.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Later tonight, you challenge Grondar the Revenant for the North Pole Championship. Just moments ago, Magnus Blackwell stood in this very interview area and made it very clear that he believes your injured eye is still a weakness. He suggested that tonight it may be hurt all over again.
A brief pause.
Smooth Samantha Satin: What is your response?
Rudolph lets the question hang for a moment.
He raises one hand and taps lightly against the black mask.
Rudolph: My response is right here.
He lowers his hand.
Rudolph: Magnus Blackwell keeps staring at this mask like it is some kind of warning label.
Rudolph: He thinks it means I am fragile.
A hard shake of the head.
Rudolph: It does not mean fragile.
Rudolph: It means prepared.
The crowd reacts.
Smooth Samantha Satin: So you are not bothered by what he said?
Rudolph: Bothered?
A small humorless smile crosses his face.
Rudolph: No.
Rudolph: I expected it.
Rudolph: Men like Magnus Blackwell always talk the same way.
Rudolph: They look for scars.
Rudolph: They look for pain.
Rudolph: They look for the place where they think a man broke.
He leans slightly toward the camera.
Rudolph: Then they make the mistake of believing that surviving the break did not make him harder.
The crowd pops again.
Smooth Samantha Satin: He specifically said courage would not protect your eye tonight.
Rudolph: He is right.
That answer gives Smooth Samantha a brief pause.
Rudolph: Courage will not protect it.
Rudolph: This will.
He taps the mask again.
Rudolph: And if Grondar wants to spend the whole night trying to tear through steel just to get to one side of my face...
A pause.
Rudolph: Then he is going to learn something.
Smooth Samantha Satin: What is that?
Rudolph: While he is busy chasing old damage...
His voice hardens.
Rudolph: I am going to be taking back my championship.
The crowd roars.
Smooth Samantha Satin: You said my championship.
Rudolph: Because it is.
Rudolph: I have listened to people talk for months like Grondar the Revenant built that title.
Rudolph: Like Magnus Blackwell made it matter.
He shakes his head again.
Rudolph: No.
Rudolph: That championship mattered before either one of them ever touched it.
Rudolph: And I know exactly what it means to carry it.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Earlier tonight Magnus Blackwell said that last week you had partners, but tonight there will be nobody to tag. He made it sound as if that gives Grondar an even bigger advantage.
Rudolph: Good.
That answer comes immediately.
Rudolph: I do not want partners.
Rudolph: I do not want excuses.
Rudolph: I do not want Magnus Blackwell standing somewhere tomorrow morning saying Grondar only lost because something distracted him, or because the match was chaotic, or because there were too many moving parts.
Rudolph: I want Grondar alone.
Rudolph: I want him in the ring.
Rudolph: I want him with that championship in his hands.
Rudolph: And I want to take it from him myself.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Last week, when the two of you stood across the ring from each other, there was a moment where it looked like you could have tagged in and gone after him immediately. You chose not to. Was that restraint? Strategy? Or were you saving it for tonight?
Rudolph stares for a moment before answering.

She steps slightly closer.

Rudolph does not look away from the camera.

A beat.
Rudolph: The pain.
Rudolph: The recovery.

He slowly shakes his head.
Rudolph: I am not hiding.

The crowd explodes.
Rudolph: And when that bell rings, Grondar is going to find out the same thing Magnus Blackwell is about to find out.
He steps closer to the camera.
Rudolph: I did not come back to survive.
A pause.
Rudolph: I came back to rumble.
The reaction from the arena grows even louder.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Rudolph challenges Grondar the Revenant for the North Pole Championship later tonight.
Rudolph takes one final step forward.
His good eye burns with focus through the camera.
Rudolph: Grondar...
A pause.
Rudolph: Hold that title tight while you still can.
He turns and walks out of frame.
Smooth Samantha watches him go.
Then looks back into the camera.
Smooth Samantha Satin: The challenger looks ready.
The camera lingers for one more second on the empty interview space before the broadcast cuts away.
The broadcast returns to the North Pole Arena.
The lights dim as a slow, measured rhythm begins over the sound system.
Silver light spreads across the entrance stage. Two illuminated panels appear on the entrance screen, each reflecting the image of the ring from a slightly different angle.
Elyra Moane steps through the curtain.
She pauses, surveys the arena, and turns toward the entrance.
Sorin Savax and Vael Thorne, the Mirror Saints, emerge beside her.
The crowd responds with boos.
Sorin stands with his hands clasped behind his back, his expression controlled. Vael rolls his shoulders and studies the ring without acknowledging the audience.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Here come the Mirror Saints, accompanied by Elyra Moane. These two have a very distinctive approach. Sorin Savax is dangerous when he gets behind an opponent, and Vael Thorne can attack from several different positions.
Eddie Ellington: Very impressive. They have technique, they have coordination, and they have Elyra looking after them. Unfortunately, they are about to wrestle two enormous Polar Bears.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: You were just praising their abilities.
Eddie Ellington: I can appreciate a fine watch and still recognize when somebody is about to step on it.
Elyra Moane begins walking down the aisle.
Sorin Savax and Vael Thorne follow side by side.
At ringside, Elyra gives both men a few quiet instructions.
Sorin enters first. Vael follows and takes a position beside him.
Both turn toward the entrance.
A deep roar echoes through the arena.
The entrance screen fills with falling snow and massive paw prints.
Polar Bear 2 and Polar Bear 3 step through the curtain.
The crowd responds loudly.
Polar Bear 2 raises his enormous arms while Polar Bear 3 slams one paw against his chest.
The two start down the aisle.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Earlier tonight, Polar Bear 1 went through a tremendous twenty-four-minute battle with Jolly Green, ultimately coming up short. Now Polar Bear 2 and Polar Bear 3 look to get their team back into the win column.
Eddie Ellington: And I expect them to do exactly that. The Mirror Saints can have all the elaborate plans they want. One good swat from either of these Bears and the planning committee is finished.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Jolly Green demonstrated earlier that the Polar Bears can be beaten.
Eddie Ellington: He beat one Bear. These two brought a friend. Completely different situation.
Polar Bear 2 and Polar Bear 3 reach ringside.
They climb onto the apron together and step through the ropes.
Vael Thorne moves toward them.
Elyra Moane immediately calls him back.
“Honest” Abe positions himself between the teams.
Celeste Orion steps to center ring.
Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty-minute time limit!
The crowd cheers.
Celeste Orion: Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Elyra Moane... Sorin Savax and Vael Thorne... the Mirror Saints!
Sorin and Vael stand together.
Elyra Moane applauds from ringside.
Celeste Orion: And their opponents... Polar Bear 2 and Polar Bear 3... the Polar Bears!
The crowd responds loudly.
Both Bears raise their massive paws.
Celeste Orion exits.
“Honest” Abe directs each team toward its corner.
Sorin Savax steps forward for the Mirror Saints.
Polar Bear 2 remains inside for the Polar Bears.
The referee checks both competitors.
He signals for the bell.
The match begins.

Polar Bear 2 advances immediately.
Sorin Savax circles to his side, avoiding a direct collision.
As Polar Bear 2 reaches for him, Sorin slips behind the Bear and leaps onto his back.
He hooks one arm beneath the chin and locks his hands together.
Viscera Clutch.
Polar Bear 2 tries to pull the arms apart, but Sorin keeps the rear naked choke secured.
The Bear drops to one knee.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Viscera Clutch already! Sorin Savax has gone directly after the neck of Polar Bear 2!
Eddie Ellington: Get him off your back! He is half your size!
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Size does not make a chokehold ineffective. Sorin has excellent positioning here.
Polar Bear 2 struggles toward his corner.
He reaches backward and grabs the top rope.
Then he stretches out one paw.
Polar Bear 3 makes the tag.
“Honest” Abe orders Sorin Savax to release the hold.
Eddie Ellington: There you go! That is why you bring a partner. Let Polar Bear 3 handle the little hitchhiker.
Minute 2
Polar Bear 3 enters and immediately wraps both arms around Sorin Savax.
Bear hug.
Sorin grimaces as the larger competitor squeezes.
Polar Bear 2 steps back through the ropes before “Honest” Abe can direct him fully toward the apron.
He reaches forward and claws across Sorin’s face.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Bear hug from Polar Bear 3, and Polar Bear 2 follows with an eye rake! That is illegal double-team offense!
Eddie Ellington: Polar Bear 2 was helping his partner adjust his grip.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: With his claws?
Eddie Ellington: They are Bears, Johnny. They do not have delicate little fingertips.
Sorin Savax fights through the pressure.
He drives his feet against Polar Bear 3’s thigh, twists out of the bear hug, and slips behind him.
Viscera Clutch!
Sorin locks the rear naked choke around Polar Bear 3’s neck.
Polar Bear 2 finally returns to the apron as “Honest” Abe steps closer to inspect the hold.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Sorin Savax escapes the bear hug and immediately goes back to the Viscera Clutch! He is finding the same opening against both Bears.
Eddie Ellington: Because they are being too generous. Stop giving him your back!
Minute 3
Polar Bear 3 forces himself upright and reaches backward.
He finally breaks Sorin Savax’s grip.
Sorin steps away and fires a rapid series of palm strikes into the Bear’s upper body.
The blows force Polar Bear 3 backward.
But the Bear suddenly catches Sorin’s arms.
He turns him around and locks in a full nelson.
Polar Bear 3 lifts Sorin and swings him violently into the canvas.
Iron Curtain!
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Palm strikes from Sorin, but Polar Bear 3 answers with the Iron Curtain! What an impact!
Eddie Ellington: That is how you deal with somebody who keeps climbing onto your back. Pick him up and put him through the floor.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Sorin landed directly across his shoulders and upper back.
Eddie Ellington: And I would imagine his plans just became considerably less elaborate.
Minute 4
Sorin Savax struggles to his feet.
Polar Bear 3 advances again.
Sorin catches him by the throat with both hands.
He drives upward and powers the Bear off his feet.
Two-hand chokeslam!
The crowd reacts as Polar Bear 3 crashes onto the canvas.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Incredible strength from Sorin Savax! He just chokeslammed Polar Bear 3!
Eddie Ellington: I will give him that one. I did not think he had the strength to lift the Bear.
Polar Bear 3 pushes himself upright.
As Sorin moves forward, the Bear catches both arms again.
Another swinging full nelson slam!
Iron Curtain!
Sorin Savax hits the mat and rolls toward his corner.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: But Polar Bear 3 responds with a second Iron Curtain! Sorin cannot afford to keep absorbing those slams.
Eddie Ellington: Now that is the difference. Sorin produces one impressive chokeslam. Polar Bear 3 answers by doing what he does best all over again.
Sorin Savax reaches his corner.
He tags Vael Thorne.
At the opposite corner, Polar Bear 3 tags Polar Bear 2.

Vael Thorne enters as Polar Bear 2 steps through the ropes.
Both competitors initially hold their positions.
Vael watches the Bear’s hands.
Polar Bear 2 watches Vael’s feet.
Neither commits to the opening exchange.
Then Vael Thorne suddenly turns and tags Sorin Savax back into the match.
Sorin enters quickly as Vael approaches Polar Bear 2 from the side.
Elyra Moane calls instructions from ringside.
Vael Thorne spins and drives his heel into Polar Bear 2’s upper body.
Silent Sever!
The Bear staggers.
Sorin Savax leaps onto his back and locks in the Viscera Clutch.
Polar Bear 2 releases a tremendous primal growl and fights to remain upright.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Silent Sever from Vael Thorne, followed by the Viscera Clutch from Sorin Savax! Excellent coordination by the Mirror Saints!
Eddie Ellington: They needed two men to deal with one Bear. That tells you everything.

Vael Thorne steps back inside and reaches for Polar Bear 2.
He traps one arm and twists his body into the AntiCross Octopus Hold.
Polar Bear 2 fights against the pressure.
Sorin Savax releases the Viscera Clutch, takes hold of the Bear, and drives him backward with an exploder suplex.
Polar Bear 2 rolls through the landing and surges upright.
He catches Sorin across his body.
Blizzard Slam!
The powerslam drives Sorin Savax into the mat.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: AntiCross Octopus Hold from Vael, exploder suplex from Sorin, but Polar Bear 2 comes back with the Blizzard Slam!
Eddie Ellington: There! That is the power advantage I have been talking about. Two men attack him, and he still finds a way to flatten one of them.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Mirror Saints have been effective together, but Polar Bear 2 has not been overwhelmed.
Eddie Ellington: Overwhelmed? He just powerslammed Sorin after they both tried to take him apart!

He traps the Bear’s head and drives him into the canvas with a brainbuster.

Vael moves toward the cover.
But the Bear forces himself upright and catches Vael around the body.

The spinning side slam sends Vael Thorne crashing onto the mat.
Polar Bear 2 rolls away from the impact.
Vael recovers quickly enough to turn back toward him.
He hooks the leg.
“Honest” Abe drops.

Polar Bear 2 kicks out!
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Brainbuster from Vael Thorne, Snowstorm Spin from Polar Bear 2, and Vael nearly steals the victory!
Eddie Ellington: Steals is right. The Bear had just planted him with that side slam!
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: But Vael recognized that Polar Bear 2 was still feeling the brainbuster and took advantage.

Polar Bear 2 reaches his corner and tags Polar Bear 3.
The two Bears charge together.
Polar Bear 2 swings one massive paw across Vael Thorne’s chest.
The swat drives Vael backward.
Polar Bear 3 raises both arms and brings them down across Vael’s upper back.

Vael drops to one knee.

The crowd grows louder.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. The North Pole Championship is on the line, and this is the opportunity Rudolph has fought so hard to regain.
Eddie Ellington: He wanted the match, Johnny. He demanded the match. Well, now he has it, and there is nowhere to hide.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Earlier tonight, Magnus Blackwell made some very pointed remarks about Rudolph’s previously injured eye.
Eddie Ellington: He raised a legitimate concern. You do not walk into a championship match against Grondar the Revenant carrying a physical vulnerability and expect nobody to notice.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: There is a difference between recognizing an injury and threatening to deliberately reinjure someone.
Eddie Ellington: Magnus understands competitive strategy. Rudolph ought to be thanking him for the free advice.
A loud metallic drumbeat begins.
White light floods the entrance stage.
Rudolph steps through the curtain.
The arena erupts.
He stands beneath the entrance lights, his powerful frame filling the screen.
His bruises have healed.
Both antlers have been shortened to equal lengths, with metal tips secured at their ends.
A hard black half mask covers one side of his face, completely protecting the previously injured eye.
A heavy gold chain hangs around his neck.
Rudolph looks directly toward the ring.
He raises one fist.
The crowd responds with another thunderous cheer.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Look at the challenger! Rudolph has changed his appearance, but he has not changed his objective. Tonight, he wants to reclaim the North Pole Championship.
Eddie Ellington: I see the mask. I see those metal-tipped antlers. I see a man who has spent a lot of time preparing for another fight with Grondar.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And I see a man who refused to let a serious injury end his pursuit of the championship.
Eddie Ellington: Wonderful. Put it on a greeting card. The champion is not going to be impressed.
Rudolph starts down the aisle.
He does not stop to acknowledge the fans.
His good eye remains fixed on the ring.
The camera follows him to ringside.
He climbs the steel steps, removes his chain, and hands it to an attendant.
Then he steps through the ropes.
Rudolph walks directly to the center of the ring.
He turns toward the entrance and waits.
The lights dim.
A low mechanical rumble rolls through the North Pole Arena.
The entrance screen turns black.
A single image appears.

The image fractures.
An enormous impact of sound echoes through the arena.
Magnus Blackwell steps onto the entrance stage.
He wears a tailored dark suit and carries his cane.
He pauses beneath the lighting and slowly surveys the audience.
The crowd boos.
Magnus turns toward the curtain.
Grondar the Revenant emerges.
The North Pole Championship is secured around his waist.
He stops beside Magnus Blackwell.
His enormous frame is motionless.
He looks toward the ring.
Toward Rudolph.
The champion begins walking.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And here comes the North Pole Champion. Grondar the Revenant has held that championship since Polar Meltdown, and tonight he faces a challenger who has made taking it back his entire purpose.
Eddie Ellington: That is a beautiful sight, Johnny. Look at the champion. No nerves. No emotional speeches. No grand promises. Just a man coming to work.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Rudolph has earned this opportunity, but there is no denying the challenge standing in front of him.
Eddie Ellington: Grondar is not interested in Rudolph’s comeback story. He is interested in keeping his championship, and Magnus Blackwell has prepared him for exactly that.
Magnus Blackwell walks several steps ahead of the champion.

Then he turns.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty-minute time limit, and it is for the NORTH POLE CHAMPIONSHIP!
The crowd erupts.
Celeste Orion: Introducing first, the challenger... Rudolph!
Rudolph steps out of his corner and raises both arms.
The arena responds with another enormous cheer.
He turns toward Grondar and points directly at the championship.
Celeste Orion: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Magnus Blackwell... he is the reigning and defending NORTH POLE CHAMPION... Grondar the Revenant!
The crowd rains boos upon the champion.
Grondar unfastens the championship and raises it above his head.
Magnus Blackwell applauds from ringside.
Grondar hands the title to “Fast Count” Frank.
The referee displays it to Rudolph.
The challenger looks directly at the championship.
Then back at Grondar.
“Fast Count” Frank raises the belt above his head and hands it to the timekeeper.
He calls both competitors toward the center.
He gives final instructions.
Rudolph leans forward.
Grondar stares down at him.
The referee separates them.
He signals.
The bell rings.
Minute 1
Rudolph moves immediately.
He closes the distance and turns his body, attempting to catch Grondar the Revenant with the Reindeer Kick.
Grondar reads the mule kick.
He catches Rudolph’s leg before the strike can connect.
The champion pulls the leg upward, forcing Rudolph off balance.
Rudolph tries to twist free.
At ringside, Magnus Blackwell suddenly climbs onto the apron.
He raises his cane and begins arguing with “Fast Count” Frank.
The referee turns toward him.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Rudolph goes for the Reindeer Kick, but Grondar catches the leg! And what is Magnus Blackwell doing?
Eddie Ellington: Asking a perfectly reasonable question about those metal antlers.

With “Fast Count” Frank occupied, Grondar pulls Rudolph forward and drives a heavy forearm into his upper body.
The challenger staggers.
Grondar follows with another crushing blow, driving Rudolph toward the corner.
Rudolph tries to cover up but cannot stop the second strike.
Magnus Blackwell finally steps down from the apron.
“Fast Count” Frank turns back toward the action.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Grondar takes advantage of the distraction and gains control in the opening minute!
Eddie Ellington: He countered the kick and followed up. That is called wrestling.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: You know exactly what Magnus was doing.
Eddie Ellington: I know Rudolph came charging forward and got caught. Everything after that is an excuse.
Minute 2
Rudolph fights his way out of the corner.
He creates enough separation to step forward.
Then he lunges toward Grondar with a headbutt.
The champion braces.
He catches Rudolph by the shoulders before the impact can develop and forces his head downward.
Rudolph tries to drive forward again.
Grondar widens his stance and shoves the challenger away.
Both men reset.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Rudolph attempts the headbutt, but Grondar neutralizes it before he can generate any force.
Eddie Ellington: That is what preparation looks like. Grondar knows exactly what Rudolph wants to do with that head.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The champion used his size and positioning to prevent the attack.
Eddie Ellington: And Rudolph has already learned that the mask does not make him unstoppable.

Grondar the Revenant steps forward.
He turns his hips and drives a side kick into Rudolph’s body.
Rudolph staggers backward.
The champion moves in to follow up.
But Rudolph lowers his center of gravity and charges forward.
He drives his head into Grondar’s stomach, keeping the metal-tipped ends of his antlers clear of the champion.
The head ram forces Grondar backward.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Side kick from Grondar, but Rudolph comes right back with a head ram to the gut!
Eddie Ellington: That mask must give him a lot of confidence.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: He used his head and upper body to drive the champion backward. The metal tips did not make contact.
Eddie Ellington: I am still keeping an eye on those antlers.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The important point is that Rudolph just moved Grondar backward under his own power!
Eddie Ellington: Once. Let us not organize a parade.

Rudolph advances again.
Grondar suddenly lowers his shoulder and charges.

The champion drives directly through Rudolph, taking him off his feet.
The challenger crashes into the canvas.
The crowd reacts sharply.
Grondar immediately drops into a cover.
“Fast Count” Frank moves into position.
But Rudolph shifts his weight and traps the champion’s shoulders.

Grondar the Revenant rises first.
He catches Rudolph as the challenger attempts to stand.

For a moment, Rudolph is suspended above the champion.

The impact shakes the ring.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Rudolph tried to get his hands on Magnus Blackwell, but the referee stopped him. He cannot allow Magnus to pull his attention away from the champion!

He grabs Rudolph’s arm, turns him, and drives him down with another pumphandle slam.

As Grondar approaches, Rudolph suddenly springs forward.

Grondar catches it as he rises.
Rudolph is already airborne.
The champion brings the chair up directly into the challenger’s oncoming body.

Magnus Blackwell retrieves the North Pole Championship from the timekeeper.
He climbs the ring steps.
Inside the ring, Grondar rises slowly.
The champion looks down at Rudolph.
Magnus enters and hands him the championship.
Grondar raises it above his head.
The boos grow louder.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Rudolph had the champion down on one knee. He was setting up the Guiding Light, and Magnus Blackwell changed the outcome of this match.
Eddie Ellington: Rudolph had an opportunity. Grondar finished the match. You can argue about everything in between, but the champion is still the champion.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: This was a competitive championship contest until that final interference. Rudolph survived two spears, a gorilla press into a spinebuster, and two pumphandle slams. He had begun to build momentum when the chair came into play.
Eddie Ellington: And he should have been watching Grondar, not worrying about putting on a show for the people chanting his name.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Grondar the Revenant retains the North Pole Championship, but the circumstances of this finish leave serious questions for Elias Coldmere and the Polar Division. Rudolph earned this opportunity, and the involvement of Magnus Blackwell prevented us from seeing whether he could complete that comeback.

Grondar the Revenant stands in the center of the ring with the North Pole Championship raised above his head.
Magnus Blackwell stands beside him, applauding.
Rudolph remains on the canvas.
“Fast Count” Frank moves toward the challenger and checks on him.
At ringside, the camera briefly catches the steel chair lying beside the apron.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: There it is. The evidence is right there at ringside.
Eddie Ellington: What I see is the North Pole Champion holding his championship.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And what I see is Rudolph being denied the chance to finish this match without outside interference.
Inside the ring, Rudolph begins to move.
He rolls onto his side and pushes himself onto one elbow.
Grondar lowers the championship.
For a moment, he looks directly at the challenger.
Rudolph raises his head.
His uncovered eye settles on the title.
Then on Grondar.
Magnus Blackwell notices.
He places one hand against the champion’s arm and quietly directs him toward the ropes.
Grondar steps over the top rope.
Magnus follows him down the ring steps.
The champion raises the North Pole Championship again as he begins walking up the aisle.
Inside the ring, Rudolph reaches one knee.
He watches the champion leave.
He does not look away.
The camera alternates between Grondar the Revenant holding the North Pole Championship high and Rudolph kneeling in the center of the ring.

The Polar Power interview area is illuminated by the familiar blue-white lighting.
Smooth Samantha Satin stands before the camera wearing fitted black shorts, a matching crop top, and black heels. Her hair falls neatly over her shoulders as she raises her microphone.
Standing beside her is Elyra Moane.
The Mirror Saints, Sorin Savax and Vael Thorne, stand just behind her.
Both men are still in their wrestling gear following their victory over the Polar Bears earlier tonight.
Elyra Moane briefly looks Samantha up and down.
Her expression tightens.
She gives the interviewer a distinctly disapproving glance before returning her attention to the camera.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time are Elyra Moane and the Mirror Saints. Earlier tonight, Sorin Savax and Vael Thorne defeated Polar Bear 2 and Polar Bear 3 in tag team competition.
Samantha turns toward Elyra.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Elyra, the Mirror Saints have made a considerable impression since arriving in the Polar Division. What comes next for your team?
Elyra Moane glances at Samantha’s outfit once more.
Elyra Moane: Before we begin, Samantha, I do hope the wardrobe department has not experienced some unfortunate reduction in its budget.
Samantha smiles politely.
Smooth Samantha Satin: I assure you, the wardrobe department is doing just fine.
Elyra Moane: How reassuring.
She smooths the front of her jacket.
Elyra Moane: Now, to your question.
Elyra gestures toward the two wrestlers standing beside her.
Elyra Moane: The Mirror Saints did not come to the Polar Division to make an impression.
Elyra Moane: They came here for one thing.
A pause.
Elyra Moane: The Universal Tag Team Championships.
The crowd inside the arena responds.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Currently held by the Ultimate Beasts, Karnyx and Varak.
Elyra Moane: I am quite aware of who holds them.
Elyra Moane: And I am equally aware that the Ultimate Beasts have accumulated a rather impressive collection of victories.
She turns toward Sorin Savax.
Elyra Moane: But championships are not awarded for being physically intimidating.
She looks toward Vael Thorne.
Elyra Moane: They are won by competitors who understand timing, precision, discipline, and the ability to adapt.
Smooth Samantha Satin: There are several other teams pursuing those championships. The Crimson Maulers have already made their ambitions clear. You have also faced the Polar Bears tonight.
Elyra Moane: Yes. And we defeated them.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Do you believe that victory should place the Mirror Saints ahead of the other contenders?
Elyra Moane: I believe it should demonstrate that we are prepared to face them.
She looks directly into the camera.

Her expression hardens.

Sorin Savax: We understand that.

Vael looks directly into the camera.

A smooth, familiar voice interrupts.

The camera widens.
Count Vlad steps into frame wearing an immaculate dark suit, a deep burgundy waistcoat, and a carefully folded silk pocket square.
A faint smile rests on his face.
He pauses beside Smooth Samantha Satin.
Count Vlad: Good evening, my dear Samantha.
He takes her free hand and bows his head over it with old-fashioned courtesy.
Count Vlad: How delightful to find you illuminating yet another dreary corner of this establishment.
Smooth Samantha Satin: Count Vlad. An unexpected pleasure.
Count Vlad: The pleasure, I assure you, is entirely mine.
His eyes briefly take in her outfit.

He turns toward Elyra Moane.
His expression becomes warmly formal.

He inclines his head.

Elyra straightens slightly.
Elyra Moane: Thank you, Count Vlad.
Count Vlad: A most intriguing union. I trust the wedding arrangements are proceeding to your satisfaction.

He gives an approving nod.

A pause.

He folds his hands behind his back.

A pause.

He turns toward Sorin and Vael.

Count Vlad: But there is another collection of gentlemen whose company I believe you might find considerably more challenging.
A pause.

The crowd watching on the arena screens reacts loudly.
Smooth Samantha Satin: The Infernal Legion?
Count Vlad: Precisely.
Count Vlad: Next Saturday. Right here on Polar Power.
He raises one finger.
Count Vlad: A six-man tag team contest.
Count Vlad: The Mirror Saints, joined by their esteemed associate, Ashen Vicar.
He looks toward Elyra.
Count Vlad: Against Abaddon...
A slight pause.
Count Vlad: Marax the Deceiver...
His smile returns.
Count Vlad: And Infernus Rex.
The reaction from the arena grows louder.

His tone remains perfectly cordial.

He pauses.

He glances toward the two wrestlers.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for our main event. One week ago, Santa Claus accepted the challenge of the Master of the Night. Moments later, the Crimson Maulers attacked him, and Santa found himself fighting against overwhelming numbers.
Eddie Ellington: That is one interpretation. My interpretation is that Santa made a very public challenge, discovered how seriously the opposition takes its business, and immediately demanded another fight.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa fought off that attack long enough for security to intervene, and he went directly to Elias Coldmere to request tonight's match.
Eddie Ellington: Which brings us to the interesting question. Was that courage, or did Santa allow his pride to make a decision his body was not ready for?
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: He has had a week to prepare.
Eddie Ellington: So has the Master of the Night. And unlike Santa, he does not have an entire arena expecting him to be everybody's hero.
The arena lights brighten.
A familiar festive melody begins.
The entrance screen fills with images of the North Pole, snow-covered rooftops, and the illuminated North Pole Arena.
Santa Claus steps through the curtain.
The crowd erupts.
He pauses at the top of the entrance ramp, dressed in his familiar wrestling attire.
He looks around the arena.
Then he raises one arm.
Santa Claus: HO! HO! HO!
The crowd answers with another enormous cheer.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Listen to this reception! Santa Claus has faced some extraordinary challenges in the Polar Division, but he has never stopped answering them.
Eddie Ellington: I respect that he keeps showing up. I question whether he has considered the benefits of an occasional quiet evening at home.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: That has never been his approach.
Eddie Ellington: And that may be exactly what the Master of the Night is counting on.
Santa Claus starts down the aisle.
He acknowledges the fans reaching toward him, but his expression is noticeably more serious than usual.
He reaches ringside and looks up at the entrance screen.
For a moment, the camera catches him studying the darkened stage.
Then he climbs the steps and enters the ring.
Santa walks toward the center, raises both arms, and gives the crowd one more booming laugh.
Santa Claus: HO! HO! HO!
The crowd cheers.
Santa lowers his arms and turns toward the entrance.
His smile disappears.
The arena lights go out.
A low, resonant bell sounds.
The entrance screen becomes a field of darkness.
A second bell echoes through the building.
Deep crimson light begins spreading across the stage.
A pale mist rolls out from beneath the curtain.
Count Daculescu emerges first.
He wears an immaculate dark suit and walks with his hands clasped behind his back.
He stops beneath the crimson lighting and turns toward the entrance.
A figure appears behind him.
The Master of the Night steps through the curtain.
The crowd responds with thunderous boos.
He pauses beside Count Daculescu.
Neither acknowledges the audience.
The Master of the Night raises his head and looks directly toward Santa Claus.
Inside the ring, Santa steps forward.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: There he is. The man responsible for issuing the challenge that brought us to this moment.
Eddie Ellington: Look at him, Johnny. No wasted movement. No playing to the crowd. He knows exactly why he is here.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And Count Daculescu is accompanying him tonight. After what happened last week, I hope “Honest” Abe keeps a very close eye on ringside.
Eddie Ellington: Count Daculescu is a distinguished gentleman supporting one of his wrestlers. There is nothing unusual about that.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: His association with the Crimson Maulers certainly makes his presence noteworthy.
Eddie Ellington: Everybody has friends, Johnny. Some of us simply have more interesting friends than others.
The Master of the Night begins walking toward the ring.
Count Daculescu follows several steps behind.
The crowd boos throughout their approach.
At ringside, the Master of the Night pauses and looks up at Santa Claus.
Santa stands in the center of the ring.
He does not look away.
The Master of the Night climbs onto the apron and steps through the ropes.
Count Daculescu takes his place at ringside.
“Honest” Abe moves between the competitors.
Celeste Orion enters the ring with microphone in hand.
Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty-minute time limit, and it is your MAIN EVENT of the evening!
The crowd erupts.
Celeste Orion: Introducing first... Santa Claus!
Santa raises his right arm.
The arena responds with another enormous cheer.
Celeste Orion: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Count Daculescu... the Master of the Night!
The crowd rains boos upon him.
The Master of the Night slowly raises his arms.
Count Daculescu applauds from ringside.
Celeste Orion exits.
“Honest” Abe calls both men toward the center.
He gives final instructions.
Santa Claus listens without taking his eyes off his opponent.
The Master of the Night looks directly back at him.
The referee separates them.
He signals for the bell.
The main event begins.
Minute 1
Neither competitor immediately commits.
Santa Claus steps toward the center.
The Master of the Night circles to his right.
Santa turns with him.
The two men briefly lock up before separating.
Santa Claus raises both arms and lets out a tremendous Yuletide Yell.
Santa Claus: HO! HO! HO!
The crowd answers enthusiastically.
The Master of the Night watches without expression.
As Santa steps forward, the Master of the Night suddenly catches him.
He hooks the challenger around the body, lifts, and drives him into the canvas with the Carpathian Driver.
Santa lands heavily across his upper back and shoulders.
The crowd reacts sharply.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Carpathian Driver! Santa Claus barely had time to establish himself before the Master of the Night struck!
Eddie Ellington: That was magnificent. Santa wanted to rally the crowd, and the Master of the Night reminded him that this is a wrestling match.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: A tremendous opening move from the Master of the Night.
Eddie Ellington: That is how you silence an arena, Johnny. You do not argue with the people cheering. You put their favorite wrestler flat on his back.
Minute 2
Santa Claus forces himself upright.
The Master of the Night advances.
Santa gets underneath him, locks around the body, and launches him overhead.
Tinsel Toss!
The belly-to-belly suplex sends the Master of the Night crashing onto the canvas.
The crowd erupts.
Santa rises and advances.
But the Master of the Night catches him as he approaches.
He lifts Santa, turns, and drives him across a raised knee.
Bloodline Backbreaker!
Santa drops to the canvas, clutching his back.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Tinsel Toss from Santa Claus, but the Master of the Night responds with a Bloodline Backbreaker!
Eddie Ellington: Notice where that backbreaker landed. Right through the middle of Santa's back. You weaken that area, and suddenly lifting a man for another belly-to-belly suplex becomes much more difficult.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa showed that he can match his opponent's power, but the Master of the Night has answered immediately.
Eddie Ellington: And I suspect he intends to keep answering until Santa runs out of questions.
Minute 3
The Master of the Night catches Santa Claus as he attempts to rise.
He secures the head and begins setting up the Impaler.
The Master tries to lift Santa for the slingshot brainbuster.
But Santa braces his feet.
He drops his weight and prevents the lift.
The Master of the Night attempts to pull him upward again.
Santa drives one arm against his opponent's body and forces separation.
Both men reset.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa Claus neutralizes the Impaler! That was an extremely important defensive play.
Eddie Ellington: Smart move by Santa. I will give him that. You do not want to take a slingshot brainbuster this early in the match.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: He recognized the setup and stopped it before the Master of the Night could complete the lift.
Eddie Ellington: But now he has shown the Master exactly how he intends to defend it. That information may become useful later.
Minute 4
Both competitors approach cautiously.
Santa Claus reaches for a collar-and-elbow tie-up.
The Master of the Night steps away.
They circle.
Santa advances again, but the Master shifts his position and forces another reset.
The crowd begins chanting for Santa.
Santa plants his feet.

He reaches forward and clamps one hand around Santa's throat.
Santa immediately grabs at the wrist.
The Master tightens his grip and drives Santa backward toward the corner.
“Honest” Abe moves closer and orders the release.
The Master of the Night holds the throat claw for another moment before letting go.
Santa Claus staggers out of the corner, drawing a deep breath.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Claw to the throat from the Master of the Night, and “Honest” Abe had to intervene to get that hold released.
Eddie Ellington: Santa wanted to stand in front of him. The Master gave him an opportunity to reconsider.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: That hold restricted Santa's breathing and put tremendous pressure on his neck.
Eddie Ellington: Which follows the same pattern as the Bloodline Backbreaker. The Master of the Night is making it increasingly difficult for Santa to generate the power he relies upon.
Minute 5
Santa Claus moves out of the corner.
He lowers his shoulder and charges.
Reindeer Charge!
The running shoulder block catches the Master of the Night across the upper body and drives him backward.
The crowd cheers.
Santa turns to follow.
But the Master of the Night steps inside the attack and drives a sharp knee into Santa's midsection.
Vampire Kneelift!
Santa doubles over.
The Master steps back and watches him struggle to regain his footing.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Reindeer Charge connects! But the Master of the Night answers with that Vampire Kneelift!
Eddie Ellington: Excellent positioning. Santa came forward with all that momentum, and the Master intercepted him before he could launch another attack.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa Claus is still finding openings, but he has been unable to sustain his offense.
Eddie Ellington: Because the Master of the Night is controlling the distance. He is allowing Santa to come forward and punishing him when he does.
Minute 6
Santa Claus turns toward his opponent.
The Master of the Night slips behind him.
He wraps one arm around Santa's neck and locks his hands together.
Blood Drain Sleeper!
Santa immediately reaches upward, trying to pry the arm away.
The Master pulls him backward.
Santa drops to one knee.
“Honest” Abe moves into position.
“Honest” Abe: Do you submit?
Santa Claus: NO!
The crowd begins chanting.
“SAN-TA! SAN-TA!”
The Master of the Night tightens the sleeper.
Santa plants one foot.
Then the other.
He slowly forces himself upright.
The Master attempts to drag him backward again, but Santa drives his body toward the ropes.
He catches the top rope with one hand.
“Honest” Abe orders the break.
The Master of the Night releases the sleeper.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Blood Drain Sleeper! Santa Claus refuses to submit and fights his way to the ropes!
Eddie Ellington: He survived the hold, but look at him. That was a tremendous amount of effort just to get back to his feet.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Master of the Night has been targeting the neck and upper body throughout this match.
Eddie Ellington: And now he is attacking Santa's stamina. Every second spent fighting a sleeper is another second of energy he cannot use to launch his own offense.
Minute 7
Santa Claus steps away from the ropes.
He catches the Master of the Night with a heavy forearm and drives him backward.
The Master stumbles toward the corner.
Santa advances.
He forces the Master of the Night down near the turnbuckles.
The crowd rises as Santa steps backward.
He looks toward the corner, preparing to launch himself into Down the Chimney.
But at ringside, Count Daculescu moves toward the apron.
He reaches inside his jacket and produces a small concealed object.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Wait a minute! Count Daculescu has something in his hand!
Santa turns toward the movement.
As he approaches the ropes, Count Daculescu reaches upward and strikes him with the concealed object.
Santa recoils.
His attempt to launch Down the Chimney is interrupted before he can complete the splash.
Count Daculescu immediately withdraws his hand and slips the object back into his jacket.
“Honest” Abe turns toward ringside, but the object has already disappeared.
Santa Claus points directly at Count Daculescu.
The referee approaches the ropes and orders the Count to step away.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Count Daculescu just struck Santa Claus with a foreign object! He stopped Down the Chimney before Santa could launch!
Eddie Ellington: I saw Santa turn toward ringside. Perhaps he should have kept his attention on his opponent.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: You saw the object!
Eddie Ellington: I saw Count Daculescu move his hand. You are making a rather dramatic accusation against a distinguished gentleman.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The referee needs to keep him away from this ring.
Eddie Ellington: The referee should concentrate on the two men who are actually wrestling.
Minute 8
Santa Claus turns back toward the center of the ring.
He raises both arms.
Santa Claus: HO! HO! HO!
The crowd answers loudly.
The Master of the Night advances.
Santa steps toward him.
But the Master moves behind the larger man.
He traps one of Santa's arms and wraps the other around his head and neck.
Night's Dominion!
The cobra clutch and dragon sleeper hybrid forces Santa backward.
Santa struggles to maintain his footing.
The Master of the Night tightens the hold and pulls him down to one knee.
“Honest” Abe moves closer.
“Honest” Abe: Do you submit?
Santa Claus: NO!
The crowd begins another chant.
“SAN-TA! SAN-TA!”
Santa fights to stand.
He reaches backward, attempting to break the grip.
The Master keeps the hold secured.
Finally, Santa manages to drive toward the ropes and force the break.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Night's Dominion! Santa Claus refuses to submit!
Eddie Ellington: But he was trapped for a long time, Johnny. Look at the pressure through the neck and shoulder. The Master of the Night is taking away Santa's ability to generate power.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa found the ropes again, but he is being forced to fight out of increasingly dangerous positions.
Eddie Ellington: And unlike the people in this arena, the Master is not getting distracted by the chanting. He is working methodically.
Minute 9
Santa Claus pushes himself upright.
He turns toward the Master of the Night.
Then charges.
Reindeer Charge!
The running shoulder block catches the Master and drives him backward.
The crowd erupts.
Santa moves forward to follow up.
But the Master of the Night catches him as he approaches.
He steps behind Santa, traps the arm, and applies Night's Dominion again.
Santa tries to twist away.
The Master pulls him backward and tightens the dragon sleeper.
“Honest” Abe moves close.
“Honest” Abe: Do you submit?
Santa Claus: NO!
Santa plants both feet.
He strains against the hold.
The crowd rises as he begins forcing himself upright.
The Master of the Night pulls him backward again.
Santa reaches toward the ropes.
He catches the top rope.
The referee orders the break.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Reindeer Charge from Santa, but the Master of the Night catches him in Night's Dominion for the second consecutive minute!
Eddie Ellington: That is brilliant wrestling. Santa keeps coming forward, and the Master keeps converting his momentum into that submission hold.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa Claus refuses to surrender!
Eddie Ellington: Refusing to surrender is admirable. Escaping the same hold without getting caught in it again would be considerably more useful.

Santa Claus pulls himself away from the ropes.
The Master of the Night advances immediately.
He drives a knee upward into Santa's midsection.
Vampire Kneelift!
Santa doubles over and drops to one knee.
The Master forces him onto his back.
He hooks the leg.
“Honest” Abe drops.

Santa Claus kicks out!
The crowd responds loudly.
The Master of the Night rises and looks down at his opponent.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Vampire Kneelift and a cover, but Santa Claus kicks out at one!
Eddie Ellington: The Master may have covered a little too quickly. He had Santa down, but he did not fully secure the shoulders.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa still had enough strength to escape decisively.
Eddie Ellington: Strength, perhaps. But he is breathing heavily, and the Master of the Night has been dictating this match.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: There are still twenty minutes available under the time limit.
Eddie Ellington: I do not think the Master intends to need them.

Santa Claus rises near the center of the ring.
The Master of the Night moves toward him.
Santa suddenly swings one hand upward.
Good Tidings!
The open-handed strike catches the Master across the side of the head.
The crowd erupts.
The Master of the Night staggers backward.
Santa advances.
He drives another heavy forearm into the Master's upper body, forcing him toward the ropes.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Good Tidings! Santa Claus catches the Master of the Night cleanly!
Eddie Ellington: A very heavy slap, Johnny. I would prefer that the Master avoid taking another one.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa finally has an opportunity to build some sustained momentum.
Eddie Ellington: Then he had better use it quickly. The Master of the Night is not going to stand there and admire his work.

Both men approach cautiously.
Santa Claus reaches for a tie-up.
The Master of the Night steps away.
Santa follows, but the Master changes direction and forces another reset.
They lock up briefly.
Santa attempts to drive his opponent toward the corner.
The Master of the Night slips free before Santa can establish control.
He circles behind the larger man.

The strike catches Santa across the midsection.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Another Vampire Kneelift from the Master of the Night! Santa was trying to establish a power position, but the Master slipped away and intercepted him.

The Master of the Night approaches cautiously.
Santa steps underneath him and attempts to secure a body lock.
He prepares to launch another Tinsel Toss.
But the Master of the Night immediately widens his stance.
He hooks one arm around Santa's shoulder and shifts his weight backward.
Santa tries to lift.
The Master drives his feet firmly into the canvas and prevents the suplex.
Santa attempts to adjust his grip.
The Master of the Night twists free.
Both men separate.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa Claus attempts the Tinsel Toss, but the Master of the Night neutralizes it!
Eddie Ellington: There is that accumulated punishment showing itself. Santa threw him earlier in the match. Now he cannot complete the same lift.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Master also recognized the setup and used his positioning to prevent the suplex.
Eddie Ellington: Exactly. He has studied Santa, he has attacked the back, and now he is shutting down the moves that made Santa dangerous in the opening minutes.
Minute 14
Santa Claus moves forward again.
He catches the Master of the Night with Good Tidings.
The open-handed strike snaps the Master's head to one side.
The crowd cheers.
Santa advances.
But the Master of the Night steps inside the next attack.
Vampire Kneelift!
The knee drives into Santa's midsection.
Santa staggers backward.
He remains standing, but his breathing is heavy.
The Master of the Night studies him carefully.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Good Tidings from Santa, but another Vampire Kneelift from the Master of the Night!
Eddie Ellington: And look at Santa. He is trying to push through the punishment, but every time he advances, the Master has another answer.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa Claus is still fighting, but he needs to change the pattern of this match.
Eddie Ellington: He needed to change it five minutes ago. The Master of the Night has established exactly the kind of contest he wanted.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: We are approaching the fifteen-minute mark, and Santa is still looking for that one decisive opening.
Eddie Ellington: Meanwhile, the Master is looking for the finish.

Santa Claus pushes himself away from the ropes.
He squares his shoulders and advances.
The crowd rises, urging him forward.

He catches Santa around the body and lifts him.

The Master of the Night drives Santa Claus across his raised knee.
The impact folds Santa backward before he collapses onto the canvas.
The crowd gasps.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Bloodline Backbreaker! Santa Claus has been driven into the canvas!
Eddie Ellington: That is it! That is exactly the opening the Master of the Night has been working toward!
The Master of the Night immediately turns Santa onto his back.
He hooks the leg firmly.
“Honest” Abe drops into position.

The bell rings.
A wave of boos rolls through the North Pole Arena.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Master of the Night has defeated Santa Claus!
Eddie Ellington: A tremendous victory! He said he would come here and beat Santa, and that is exactly what he has done!
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Fifteen minutes of relentless pressure from the Master of the Night, and the second Bloodline Backbreaker was enough to secure the pinfall.
Eddie Ellington: He had a plan, Johnny. He attacked the neck, attacked the back, kept Santa from establishing any sustained momentum, and finished him in the center of the ring.
The Master of the Night rises slowly.
Count Daculescu climbs the ring steps.
The referee raises the winner's arm.
Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner... the Master of the Night!
The crowd boos loudly.
Count Daculescu enters the ring and stands beside the winner.
He gives the Master of the Night a satisfied nod.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa Claus survived the Blood Drain Sleeper and escaped Night's Dominion twice. He continued fighting through everything the Master of the Night threw at him, but tonight he could not find the finish.
Eddie Ellington: And that is the difference between determination and execution. Santa was determined to win. The Master of the Night actually did it.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: We also cannot ignore the involvement of Count Daculescu during the seventh minute. That interference interrupted Santa's attempt to deliver Down the Chimney.
Eddie Ellington: The Master of the Night just pinned Santa Claus after a clean Bloodline Backbreaker. You cannot explain away the result by discussing something that happened eight minutes earlier.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The result stands. The Master of the Night wins tonight's main event, and Santa Claus must now regroup after a difficult defeat.
MASTER OF THE NIGHT DEFEATS SANTA CLAUS VIA PINFALL WITH THE BLOODLINE BACKBREAKER AT THE 15:00 MINUTE MARK.
The Master of the Night walks toward the ropes.
He pauses and looks back.
Santa Claus is sitting against the bottom turnbuckle, one hand pressed against his lower back.
Count Daculescu joins the winner.
The Master of the Night raises one arm toward the crowd.
The boos intensify.
He lowers his arm and steps through the ropes.
Count Daculescu follows him up the aisle.
Inside the ring, Santa Claus remains seated.
He watches them leave.
His expression is pensive.
He looks down at the canvas for several seconds.
The crowd begins chanting.
“SAN-TA! SAN-TA!”
Santa slowly raises his head.
He looks around the arena.
The cheers grow louder.
He places one hand against the middle rope and pushes himself upright.
He stands near the corner, still recovering.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: You can see the disappointment on Santa Claus's face. He wanted this match, he wanted to answer last week's attack, and tonight the Master of the Night got the victory.
Eddie Ellington: He has every reason to be disappointed. He made the challenge personal, and the Master beat him.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: But look at Santa. He is still standing. He is listening to this crowd, and I do not believe tonight's result has diminished his determination.
Eddie Ellington: Determination is one thing. Next time, he needs a better plan.
Santa Claus walks slowly toward the center of the ring.
He looks toward the entrance, where the Master of the Night and Count Daculescu have disappeared.
Then he turns back toward the audience.
The crowd continues chanting his name.
Santa takes a deep breath.
His expression remains serious.
He raises one arm.
Not in celebration.
In acknowledgment.
The crowd responds with a sustained cheer.
He lowers his arm and looks once more toward the entrance.
His jaw tightens.
The disappointment is still there.
But so is the determination.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Santa Claus leaves tonight without the victory he came for. But judging by that expression, this is not a man who intends to let one defeat decide what happens next.
The camera holds on Santa Claus standing alone in the ring as the main-event broadcast comes to an end.
The broadcast returns to the North Pole Arena.
Santa Claus has left the ring, but the crowd remains energized following an eventful evening of Polar Power.
The camera sweeps across the audience before settling on the commentary desk.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels and Eddie Ellington are ready to close the show.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Ladies and gentlemen, what a night here at the North Pole Arena. We have seen championship controversy, new contenders making their intentions known, and a main event that leaves Santa Claus with plenty to think about.
Eddie Ellington: He should be thinking about the Bloodline Backbreaker. That was a very convincing argument from the Master of the Night.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: We'll get to our main event in a moment, but first, let's look back at everything that happened tonight.
A replay montage begins.
Glint Grimm drives Astrid Ironvale into the canvas with the Phantom Fall.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: We opened with a tremendous twenty-nine-minute contest between Glint Grimm and Astrid Ironvale. Both women pushed each other to the limit before Glint secured the victory with the Phantom Fall.
Eddie Ellington: Astrid showed plenty of power, but Glint Grimm showed why experience matters. She found the opening and finished the match before the time limit could become a factor.

La Bruja Muerte launches from the apron and crashes into Polly Mason with a diving crossbody.
Then Lilith appears at ringside.
The Queen of the North Championship strikes Polly.
The footage cuts to “Honest” Abe completing the count.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Queen of the North Champion, Polly Mason, suffered a countout defeat against La Bruja Muerte after Lilith intervened and struck Polly with her own championship belt.
Eddie Ellington: And La Bruja Muerte got the victory. You can debate the circumstances all week, but that result is going in the record books.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: La Bruja Muerte certainly has a victory over the champion to point to, but Lilith made it clear that her issues with Polly Mason are far from settled.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Jolly Green came through a punishing twenty-four-minute match against Polar Bear 1, finally securing the pinfall with a belly-to-belly suplex.
Eddie Ellington: I am still not happy about that result.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: I don't believe anyone expected you to be.
Eddie Ellington: Polar Bear 1 had that match within his grasp. Next time, he needs to finish the job before Jolly Green starts throwing him around again.

Vael Thorne secures the Owari Death Clutch Dragon Sleeper.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: The Mirror Saints also picked up an important victory tonight, defeating Polar Bear 2 and Polar Bear 3 when Vael Thorne forced a submission.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Elyra Moane made it clear that the Mirror Saints are pursuing the Universal Tag Team Championships. But Count Vlad offered them a challenge of his own.
Eddie Ellington: And they accepted it! Next week, the Mirror Saints and Ashen Vicar will face Infernus Rex, Abaddon, and Marax the Deceiver in six-man tag team competition.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: An enormous challenge for Elyra's group, and one of several major matches already confirmed for next week's show.
The montage changes again.
Rudolph connects with a flying dropkick.
Grondar the Revenant drops to one knee.
Then the footage shows Magnus Blackwell supplying the steel chair.
Grondar strikes Rudolph during the attempted Guiding Light.
The three-count follows.
The arena boos.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And then came our North Pole Championship match. Rudolph fought his way back from injury and challenged Grondar the Revenant, only to have his opportunity taken away when Magnus Blackwell introduced a steel chair into the match.
Eddie Ellington: Grondar retained his championship. That's the result, Johnny.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: It is the result. But Rudolph was building momentum, and he had the champion down on one knee before that interference.
Eddie Ellington: Grondar has survived another challenger. Whether Rudolph likes the finish or not, the North Pole Championship is still around the waist of Grondar the Revenant.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: And judging by the look on Rudolph's face when the champion left the ring, I doubt we've heard the last of this.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Determination, Eddie. He stood in that ring, listened to the crowd, and looked toward the entrance as though he were already thinking about what comes next.
Eddie Ellington: Well, I hope he's thinking about a better strategy. The Master of the Night won't be any easier to defeat the next time they meet.

Eddie Ellington: Van Helsing has made his intentions toward Grondar clear, but he had better concentrate on the enormous Bear standing in front of him next Saturday.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Wilber survived a tremendous challenge from Peter Cottontail last week, and now he must prepare for a very different opponent.
Eddie Ellington: Mari Lwyd brings an unusual style and tremendous physical presence. But Wilber has been finding ways to retain that championship, and I expect he'll have a plan for this challenge as well.

Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Count Vlad proposed this match as a test of the Mirror Saints, and Elyra accepted without hesitation.
Eddie Ellington: Which means there can be no excuses afterward. They accepted the challenge. Now they have to deliver.

Eddie Ellington: And Lilith has made it very clear that she has not forgotten losing that title.
Johnny “The Mic” Michaels: Polly Mason will have an opportunity to settle matters with the woman who attacked her tonight.
Eddie Ellington: She had better be ready. Lilith is not coming into that match looking for a friendly reunion.
