Aired - October 23
INTERLUDE 005: INTO THE DARK
The screen is black.
A heavy, ancient book opens. One page turns.
A candle ignites blue before bleeding into blood-red flame.
Black ink spreads across the parchment, forming a crown.
An arrow pierces the crown.
A black card falls across the page.
Dragon fire consumes its edges. An oni mask emerges from the flames.
A low choir rises. Heavy drums begin.
NARRATOR: “Crowns are tested.”
Rapid flashes begin.
KING ARTHUR — The Mythic Crown Championship gleams upon his shoulder. Arthur stands before Camelot’s throne, his expression stern, his kingdom’s banners hanging behind him.
JOHN HENRY — A mighty hammer crashes against an iron anvil. Sparks explode as John Henry raises his head, his expression unyielding.
NARRATOR: “Heroes are hunted.”
ROBIN HOOD — Deep within Sherwood’s shadows, Robin Hood draws his bow. The arrow flies directly toward the camera.
SEVERIN CROWNE — A black card turns slowly between Severin Crowne’s fingers. He offers a faint, calculating smile as darkness consumes the image.
NARRATOR: “Monsters wear gold.”
BLOOD MOON WARDEN — A crimson moon dominates the sky. Beneath its terrible light stands the imposing silhouette of the Blood Moon Warden.
THE BLACK CHAPEL — Flickering candles illuminate a dark sanctuary. The ominous figures of The Black Chapel emerge from the shadows as the candles extinguish one by one.
NARRATOR: “And every victory leaves a scar.”
The music drops.
One bell tolls.
The NPCW: DARK FABLE crest fills the screen.
NARRATOR: “In DARK FABLE… the story does not end happily.”
A moment of silence.
NARRATOR: “It ends with a winner.”
A final bell rings.
NARRATOR: “This… is DARK FABLE.”
The screen cuts hard to a sweeping live shot of Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum, its enormous crowd illuminated beneath the towering banners of Camelot.
DARK FABLE — EPISODE 039 — OCTOBER 23, 2026
The broadcast returns live to Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum.
The cameras sweep across the packed arena. Thousands of spectators stand beneath the towering stone arches and royal banners of Camelot. The atmosphere is electric, with the crowd anticipating another night of conflict within the Mythic Division.
Several signs stand out among the audience.
"FREE ROBIN HOOD!"
"THE KING HAS LOST HIS WAY!"
"SIX STRAIGHT – JOHN HENRY!"
Another enormous banner stretches across an entire section.
"THE REBELLION WILL RISE!"
A familiar chant begins spreading through the Coliseum.
"ROBIN HOOD!" "ROBIN HOOD!" "ROBIN HOOD!"
Before the broadcast reaches the commentary desk, however, the arena screens illuminate.
The camera cuts backstage.
THE ROYAL THRONE ROOM
The elaborate throne room set has once again been assembled within the Coliseum's backstage complex.
Massive stone columns frame the chamber. Crimson and gold banners hang from the walls, while burning torches illuminate the raised royal dais.
At its centre sits King Arthur.
The reigning Mythic Crown Champion is dressed in his royal attire, the championship prominently displayed beside his throne. His posture is regal, his bearing unmistakably that of a sovereign.
But his expression is anything but peaceful.
The events of the previous week have clearly left their mark. Robin Hood has escaped imprisonment. Excalibur has disappeared from its ancient stone. And despite an extensive search and a royal bounty of $250,000, the king has received no satisfaction.
Seated to his right is Severin Crowne, immaculate in his tailored black suit. He sits comfortably in his prominent position beside the throne, one leg crossed over the other, watching proceedings with practiced interest.
To the king's left sits Merlin, his ancient staff resting beside his chair. The wizard appears troubled, occasionally studying the king as though considering something he has not yet found the courage to say.
On the main floor stand the assembled members of Camelot's court.
To one side are Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawain, and Sir Galahad, the three knights standing in their formal armor.
Opposite them stand Sir Agravaine, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Tin Man, the formidable enforcers of the Shadow Court.

Between these two groups stands a formally dressed Court Usher, holding a parchment containing the names of those granted an audience.
The usher clears his throat.
Court Usher: "Your Majesty. The first petitioners are ready to be received."
King Arthur: "Then let them approach. I would prefer that tonight's business proceed without further unnecessary delay."
Severin Crowne allows the faintest smile.
Severin Crowne: "Of course, Your Majesty. A productive court is an orderly court."
The usher strikes the floor with his ceremonial staff.
Court Usher: "Presenting His Royal Highness, PRINCE JOHN! Accompanied by the representatives of THE BLACK CHAPEL... LADY ISOLDE BLACKTHORNE and PRIORESS MALVEIL!"
The chamber doors open.
Prince John enters first, dressed in extravagant royal clothing, followed by the imposing figures of Lady Isolde Blackthorne and Prioress Malveil.
The two women make a striking contrast to their patron's elaborate presentation. Lady Isolde carries herself with cold aristocratic composure, while Prioress Malveil advances with the severe discipline of someone accustomed to commanding obedience.
Prince John immediately bows.
Then bows lower.
Then drops to one knee.
Prince John: "Your Most Glorious Majesty! Sovereign of Camelot! Protector of the realm! Champion among champions! How fortunate we are to bask once more in the wisdom of your magnificent court!"
King Arthur regards him without enthusiasm.
King Arthur: "Rise, John. And come to your point."
Prince John struggles awkwardly back to his feet.
Prince John: "Naturally, Your Majesty! Naturally! I would never dream of wasting your exceedingly valuable time!"
He gestures proudly toward the two women.
Prince John: "I come before you representing two most extraordinary ladies! Lady Isolde Blackthorne! Prioress Malveil! Together, the formidable Black Chapel!"
Lady Isolde Blackthorne inclines her head respectfully.
Prioress Malveil remains silent.
Prince John: "Your Majesty, these women deserve recognition. They deserve opportunity. Indeed, I would go so far as to declare that their continued exclusion from the championship picture represents a most regrettable oversight!"
King Arthur: "And what precisely are you requesting?"
Prince John: "The North Star Tag Team Championships, Your Majesty! A championship opportunity against the newly crowned Fairest Hunters!"
The king leans back slightly.
Prince John: "The ladies Snow White and Gretel are certainly accomplished competitors. Their recent victory over the Blonde Bombshells was most impressive. But surely such distinguished champions should welcome the opportunity to defend their titles against opponents of equally distinguished standing!"
King Arthur: "You believe your representatives are entitled to such an opportunity?"
Prince John: "I do, Your Majesty. Most emphatically!"
He pauses, then offers a conspiratorial smile.
Prince John: "And naturally, I would never approach the throne without expressing my appreciation for the tremendous responsibilities that accompany royal leadership."
He produces a small velvet pouch.
The unmistakable sound of gold coins fills the room.
Prince John: "A modest contribution to the continued prosperity of Camelot."
The Court Usher approaches, accepts the pouch, and carries it to a table beside the throne.
King Arthur considers the offering.
King Arthur: "A championship opportunity for the Black Chapel..."
Before he can continue, Severin Crowne leans toward the king.
He speaks quietly into Arthur's ear.
The camera cannot make out the words.
But the king's expression changes.
He nods.
King Arthur: "Yes. Yes, quite right."
Severin Crowne settles back into his chair.
King Arthur: "Prince John, your request has been heard. And I agree that the North Star Tag Team Championships should be defended against worthy challengers."
Prince John beams.
Prince John: "Your Majesty's generosity knows no—"
King Arthur: "However, the Fairest Hunters shall first defend their championships against REGINA and MALICE!"
Prince John's smile disappears.
King Arthur: "The Queens of Despair have served this court faithfully. Their accomplishments deserve recognition. They shall receive the first championship opportunity."
Prince John: "But... Your Majesty, I was under the impression—"
King Arthur: "Once that championship contest has been settled, the Black Chapel may receive its opportunity."
Prince John: "Afterward?"
King Arthur: "Precisely."
Prince John: "But surely, Your Majesty, given the extraordinary qualities of my representatives, an immediate opportunity might be more—"
Severin Crowne: "John."
The single word interrupts him.
Severin Crowne regards the prince with a courteous but distinctly cold expression.
Severin Crowne: "His Majesty has acknowledged your request. He has even provided a path toward the championship opportunity you seek. I would strongly recommend accepting that generosity."
Prince John opens his mouth again.
But before he can respond, Tin Man steps away from the assembled court.
The enormous metallic figure advances toward the prince.
Each heavy footstep echoes across the stone floor.
Prince John looks upward.
Tin Man says nothing.
He simply stops directly before the smaller man.
Prince John swallows.
Prince John: "A most generous ruling, Your Majesty! Most generous indeed!"
He bows quickly.
Prince John: "We are grateful beyond words! The Black Chapel thanks you for your wisdom!"
Lady Isolde Blackthorne studies Severin Crowne for a brief moment before turning toward the throne.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne: "We shall remember your promise, Your Majesty."
Prioress Malveil: "And we shall be prepared when our opportunity arrives."
King Arthur: "See that you are."
Prince John bows one final time before hurriedly escorting the two women toward the exit.
Tin Man watches until the doors close.
THE SECOND PETITIONER
King Arthur releases an irritated breath.
King Arthur: "Is there more?"
The Court Usher examines his parchment.
Court Usher: "One additional petitioner awaits an audience, Your Majesty."
King Arthur: "And who is this petitioner?"
The usher hesitates.
Court Usher: "A merchant, Sire. A humble trader who claims to have travelled a considerable distance to speak before the throne."
King Arthur: "A merchant?"
Court Usher: "Yes, Your Majesty. An elderly man."
Severin Crowne glances toward the doors.
Severin Crowne: "Perhaps he brings information. Your Majesty's reward has been widely publicized."
The king straightens immediately.
King Arthur: "Then bring him forward!"
The usher strikes his ceremonial staff against the floor.
Court Usher: "Presenting... a merchant from the outer roads of Camelot!"
The heavy doors open.
A solitary figure enters.
He appears elderly, stooped beneath the weight of his years. A long, weather-beaten hooded cloak conceals almost his entire body.
One hand clutches a wooden walking cane.
With each step, the cane taps softly against the stone floor.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
The assembled knights watch with mild curiosity.
Sir Gawain exchanges a glance with Sir Galahad.
Sir Agravaine folds his arms impatiently.
Merlin leans forward slightly, studying the stranger from beneath his heavy brows.
The old merchant approaches the foot of the throne.
He stops.
His head remains bowed.
King Arthur examines him.
King Arthur: "Well then, old one... what brings you before the throne of Camelot?"

The merchant does not immediately answer.
His shoulders move slightly beneath the cloak.
Then a low, almost inaudible whisper escapes from beneath the hood.
Merchant: "I have... come... to deliver..."
The rest is lost in the quiet of the chamber.
King Arthur: "What was that?"
The merchant whispers again.
Merchant: "A message... for the king..."
Sir Agravaine: "Speak properly, old man!"
Severin Crowne raises one hand, silencing the knight.
He rises slowly from his chair.
Severin Crowne: "My good fellow, His Majesty has granted you an audience. The least you can do is make yourself understood."
The merchant remains motionless.
Severin Crowne: "Speak up."
A pause.
Severin Crowne: "And remove your hood. You stand before the King of Camelot."
For several seconds, nothing happens.
Then the merchant begins to move.
Slowly, the hunched shoulders straighten.
The bent spine rises.
The walking cane falls away from his hand.
It strikes the stone floor with a sharp clatter.
The figure stands taller.
Much taller.
Merlin suddenly rises halfway from his seat.
Merlin: "Arthur..."
But the warning comes too late.
The merchant raises his head.
When he speaks again, the frail whisper is gone.
In its place is a younger voice.
A stronger voice.
One filled with unmistakable defiance.
Merchant: "I am here to tell the king..."
He reaches for the hood.
Merchant: "...that the REBELLION BEGINS NOW!"
He tears the hood backward.
ROBIN HOOD!
The Coliseum EXPLODES!
The arena audience has been watching the entire confrontation on the enormous screens, and the reaction is deafening.
"ROBIN HOOD!" "ROBIN HOOD!" "ROBIN HOOD!"
Inside the throne room, the assembled court freezes in astonishment.
Sir Lancelot steps forward.
Sir Gawain instinctively reaches toward his sword.
Sir Galahad stares in disbelief.
Severin Crowne's carefully controlled expression vanishes for the briefest instant.
And upon the throne...
King Arthur rises.
His face twists with fury.
King Arthur: "ROBIN HOOD!"
Robin Hood stands defiantly at the foot of the throne.
The marks of his recent imprisonment remain visible upon his face. His movements betray lingering pain, but he refuses to lower his eyes.
Robin Hood: "Good evening, Your Majesty."
King Arthur: "YOU!"
He descends one step from the dais.
King Arthur: "You dare enter MY court? You dare stand before MY throne after escaping lawful imprisonment?"
Robin Hood: "I thought you would appreciate a personal visit. You've been spending a great deal of money trying to find me."
The crowd roars again.
King Arthur: "YOU INSOLENT THIEF!"
The king points directly at him.
King Arthur: "GIVE ME BACK EXCALIBUR!"
Robin Hood's expression grows more serious.
Robin Hood: "You've accused me of a great many things, Arthur. Perhaps one day you'll discover which of them are actually true."
King Arthur: "DO NOT SPEAK TO ME OF TRUTH!"
He turns toward his knights.
King Arthur: "SEIZE HIM!"
Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawain, and Sir Galahad advance immediately.
Across the chamber, Sir Agravaine and the Sheriff of Nottingham move to cut off the escape.
Tin Man begins advancing from the opposite side.
Robin Hood takes one step backward.
But he does not appear frightened.
Instead, he smiles.
Robin Hood: "I was rather hoping you'd say that."
THE MERRY BAND STRIKES!
Suddenly, the chamber doors burst open!
ALLAN A DALE! FRIAR TUCK! LITTLE JOHN!
And emerging behind them...
THE BLOOD-MOON WARDEN!
The four men storm into the throne room!
Little John charges directly into Sir Gawain, driving the knight backward with a tremendous shoulder block.
Friar Tuck intercepts Sir Galahad, catching the knight around the waist and throwing him into a nearby ceremonial table.
The table crashes sideways, scattering parchment and goblets across the floor.
Allan A Dale confronts the advancing Sir Lancelot, catching him with a sudden forearm before the knight can reach Robin Hood.
The two men grapple near the base of the throne.
Across the chamber, the Sheriff of Nottingham charges forward.
But the Blood-Moon Warden steps into his path.
The masked warrior catches the Sheriff with a crushing blow across the upper body, driving him backward into Sir Agravaine.
Both men stagger.
King Arthur: "GUARDS! GUARDS! STOP THEM!"
Tin Man advances toward the Blood-Moon Warden.
The two imposing figures collide in the centre of the chamber.
Metal crashes against armor as Tin Man attempts to overpower the masked warrior.
The Warden braces himself, forcing the enormous enforcer backward just long enough for Robin Hood to move toward the doors.
Severin Crowne retreats toward the side of the throne, protecting himself from the brawl rather than becoming involved.
Severin Crowne: "Your Majesty! Remain behind the throne!"
King Arthur: "I WILL NOT HIDE FROM AN OUTLAW!"
Robin Hood turns at the doorway.
His eyes meet the king's.
Robin Hood: "You spent last week telling the world there was no forest deep enough to hide me from your judgment."
He pauses.
Robin Hood: "Well, Arthur... I'm not hiding."
The crowd erupts.
Robin Hood: "And this is only the beginning."
Little John shoves Sir Gawain backward one final time.
Friar Tuck breaks away from Sir Galahad.
Allan A Dale forces Sir Lancelot away from the doorway.
The Blood-Moon Warden delivers a final powerful shove that drives Tin Man against the nearby stone column.
Blood-Moon Warden: "Robin! Now!"
The five rebels retreat through the chamber doors.
Robin Hood is the last to disappear.
The doors slam shut behind them.
King Arthur: "AFTER THEM!"
The assembled knights surge toward the exit.
But the doors suddenly open again.
ELIAS COLDMERE enters, accompanied by a squad of NPCW security officers.
The Mythic Commissioner surveys the devastation.
Overturned furniture.
Scattered parchment.
Several royal knights recovering from the unexpected assault.
And an absolutely furious king.
Elias Coldmere: "Your Majesty! We received reports of a disturbance. What has happened?"
King Arthur: "WHAT HAS HAPPENED?"
Arthur strides directly toward the commissioner.
King Arthur: "That criminal! That treacherous outlaw! ROBIN HOOD has just stood before my throne and declared rebellion against Camelot!"
Elias Coldmere looks toward the damaged doorway.
Elias Coldmere: "Robin Hood was here?"
King Arthur: "HE WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE!"
The king points toward the centre of the room.
King Arthur: "He brought his brigands into my court! Attacked my knights! Made a mockery of my royal authority!"
Severin Crowne approaches.
Severin Crowne: "His Majesty is quite correct, Commissioner. The outlaw deliberately staged this intrusion. It was no accidental encounter. He intended to humiliate the crown in front of the entire kingdom."
Elias Coldmere's expression hardens.
Elias Coldmere: "Security will secure the corridors. No one involved is to be permitted backstage without authorization."
He turns to his officers.
Elias Coldmere: "Move."
The security personnel hurry from the chamber.
But King Arthur is not finished.
King Arthur: "NO!"
The commissioner stops.
King Arthur: "I am finished allowing this insolent outlaw to embarrass me!"
He steps forward, his voice carrying the absolute certainty of royal command.
King Arthur: "I WANT ROBIN HOOD TONIGHT!"
Elias Coldmere: "Your Majesty?"
King Arthur: "IN THE RING!"
The king points toward Sir Lancelot and Sir Agravaine.
King Arthur: "A SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH!"
King Arthur: "I shall stand beside SIR LANCELOT and SIR AGRAVAINE!"
He looks directly into the camera.
King Arthur: "And ROBIN HOOD may bring whichever two traitors he wishes to stand beside him!"
Sir Lancelot glances toward the king, then gives a solemn nod.
Sir Agravaine steps forward eagerly.
Sir Agravaine: "The outlaw will answer for his insolence, Sire."
King Arthur: "I WANT HIM BROUGHT BEFORE ME TONIGHT, COMMISSIONER!"
Elias Coldmere considers the demand.
He adjusts his jacket and faces the king.
Elias Coldmere: "Very well, Your Majesty."
A moment passes.
Elias Coldmere: "The match will take place tonight."
The king's expression shifts from fury to grim satisfaction.
Elias Coldmere: "You, Sir Lancelot, and Sir Agravaine against Robin Hood and two partners of his choosing."
He pauses.
Elias Coldmere: "It will be the second match of tonight's broadcast."
King Arthur: "GOOD!"
Elias Coldmere: "I shall have the announcement delivered to the competitors immediately."
King Arthur turns toward the damaged chamber doors.
King Arthur: "He wanted a rebellion."
His eyes narrow.
King Arthur: "Then tonight, he shall learn the price of declaring war upon a king."
Severin Crowne steps alongside him.
Severin Crowne: "An appropriate response, Your Majesty."
He looks toward the exit.
Severin Crowne: "The outlaw has made his opening move. Now he must live with the consequences."
The camera slowly pulls away from the throne.
King Arthur stands at the centre of his assembled court, furious but resolute.
Beside him, Severin Crowne watches with that familiar, calculating expression.
And behind them, Merlin remains silent.
His gaze lingers upon the doors through which Robin Hood escaped.
The broadcast cuts away.
BACK AT THE COMMENTARY DESK
The camera returns to ringside, where Julian Ward and Brick Brody sit in stunned silence.
The Coliseum crowd continues chanting.
"ROBIN HOOD!" "ROBIN HOOD!" "ROBIN HOOD!"
Julian Ward: "Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to NPCW Dark Fable. I'm Julian Ward, alongside Brick Brody, and I scarcely know where to begin after what we've just witnessed."
Brick Brody: "I'll tell you where to begin, Julian! Robin Hood just walked straight into the king's court, revealed himself in front of the entire Shadow Court, and declared a rebellion! That's either the bravest thing I've seen in a long time or the stupidest!"
Julian Ward: "Seven days ago, King Arthur announced a quarter-million-dollar bounty for the return of Robin Hood and the missing Excalibur. The outlaw had escaped imprisonment, and the king believed the entire kingdom would be turned against him."
Brick Brody: "Instead, Robin brought the fight straight to his front door! And he didn't come alone. Allan A Dale, Friar Tuck, Little John, and the Blood-Moon Warden just knocked the royal court around like a bunch of recruits!"
Julian Ward: "The Blood-Moon Warden has already demonstrated his willingness to stand against the Shadow Court. And now he has openly joined Robin Hood in defying the king. This is no longer simply an effort to free one imprisoned man. It has become an organized resistance."
Brick Brody: "And here's what I want to know. Arthur keeps shouting about Excalibur, but did you see Robin Hood carrying the sword? Because I didn't. The king's got himself a missing weapon, an escaped prisoner, and now a rebellion. That's a whole lot of trouble for a fellow who already wears the Mythic Crown!"
Julian Ward: "There remains no public proof that Robin Hood personally took Excalibur. But whatever the truth behind its disappearance, the consequences have now become considerably more dangerous."
Brick Brody: "And the king just demanded a fight! Not next week. Not next month. TONIGHT!"
The arena screens illuminate with a hastily prepared match graphic.
TONIGHT – MATCH 2 – SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
KING ARTHUR, SIR LANCELOT & SIR AGRAVAINE
VS.
ROBIN HOOD & TWO PARTNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED
Julian Ward: "And we can now confirm that Mythic Commissioner Elias Coldmere has officially sanctioned that contest. Tonight, in our second match, the reigning Mythic Crown Champion King Arthur will join Sir Lancelot and Sir Agravaine against Robin Hood and two partners of his choosing."
Brick Brody: "I don't care who Robin brings, Julian. He's getting in the ring with the king who locked him up, one of the greatest knights Camelot has ever produced, and a man like Agravaine who'd gladly break him in half just to earn another nod from the throne."
Julian Ward: "And consider the implications for King Arthur. He is the reigning Mythic Crown Champion, a man whose authority has become increasingly intertwined with his dominance inside the ring. Tonight, that authority will be challenged directly by the man he has sought to imprison."
Brick Brody: "And don't expect a clean little sporting contest with a handshake afterward. The king wants blood. Robin Hood wants a rebellion. That's a dangerous combination."
Julian Ward: "But that is only one of six major contests scheduled for tonight. And the ramifications of the Shadow Court's growing influence extend across the entire card."
TONIGHT'S MATCHES
The first match graphic appears.
MATCH 1 – TAG TEAM CONTEST
THE BLACK CHAPEL
LADY ISOLDE BLACKTHORNE & PRIORESS MALVEIL
VS.
QUEENS OF PUNISHMENT
Julian Ward: "We open tonight with the very women we just saw petitioning the king. Lady Isolde Blackthorne and Prioress Malveil, the Black Chapel, face the Queens of Punishment."
Brick Brody: "And they'd better be ready to wrestle instead of counting Prince John's gold. The king's just told them they're going to have to wait while Regina and Malice get the first crack at the Fairest Hunters. If the Black Chapel wants people to take that next opportunity seriously, winning tonight would be a damn good start."
Julian Ward: "The reigning North Star Tag Team Champions, Snow White and Gretel, now find themselves facing increasing attention from the Shadow Court. And tonight's opening contest may influence how the Black Chapel approaches its future championship ambitions."
The graphic changes.
MATCH 3 – NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP
HANSEL – CHAMPION
VS.
SEVERIN CROWNE – CHALLENGER
The Universal Championship rotates between the competitors.
Footage from the Mythic Division's recent stop in Osaka appears on the screen.
Severin Crowne reverses a sunset flip and traps Hansel for the three-count.
The replay fades into the confrontation from last week's Dark Fable, where Elias Coldmere officially granted Severin Crowne his championship opportunity.
Julian Ward: "And one of the most significant championship matches in recent Dark Fable history takes place tonight. The reigning NPCW Universal Champion, Hansel, defends against Severin Crowne."
Brick Brody: "And before anybody starts talking about royal favoritism, let's remember what happened in Osaka. Crowne PINNED the Universal Champion! He earned this match inside the ring. Now he gets to find out whether he can do it when the championship is on the line."
Julian Ward: "Hansel acknowledged that defeat last week but made it clear he intends to answer it tonight. For Crowne, a victory would bring the most prestigious championship in NPCW into the possession of one of the Shadow Court's most influential members."
Brick Brody: "And that's what makes this dangerous for Hansel. Crowne has spent weeks showing everyone he can manipulate power outside the ring. In Osaka, he proved he can win inside it. Now he's got the opportunity to put both together."
Julian Ward: "Although after the incident we witnessed moments ago, one must wonder whether Severin Crowne can completely separate the turmoil surrounding King Arthur from the biggest championship opportunity of his career."
The next graphic appears.
MATCH 4 – SIX-WOMAN TAG TEAM CONTEST
HYDRA VEYNE, MEDUSSA NEMESIS & SERPENTA VEYNE
VS.
ROSALYN THE QUEEN OF THORNS, MORGANA LE FAYE & YUREI RINN
Julian Ward: "Our fourth contest brings together six dangerous women from across the Mythic Division. Hydra Veyne, Medussa Nemesis, and Serpenta Veyne join forces against Rosalyn the Queen of Thorns, Morgana Le Faye, and Yurei Rinn."
Brick Brody: "Six women who know how to hurt somebody, Julian. And when you put that many dangerous personalities in one ring, the question isn't whether there's going to be violence. It's whether anybody can keep her own partners under control long enough to win."
Julian Ward: "An intriguing combination of competitors, each bringing a very different approach to the contest. Their ability to function as teams may be just as important as their individual abilities."
The screen changes again.
MATCH 5 – TAG TEAM CONTEST
THE VIRTUOUS BLADES
VS.
THE MERRY BAND – FRIAR TUCK & LITTLE JOHN
Julian Ward: "And if tonight's confrontation in the throne room was any indication, our fifth match could be particularly combustible. The Virtuous Blades face Friar Tuck and Little John of the Merry Band."
Brick Brody: "We just watched Tuck and Little John throw those royal knights around backstage! Now they're expected to get into a ring and wrestle representatives of that same kingdom? I don't think anybody's forgotten what happened in the throne room."
Julian Ward: "And we must remember that the Merry Band defeated Sir Agravaine and the Sheriff of Nottingham during the recent Osaka house show. Their opposition to the Shadow Court has already produced meaningful victories."
Brick Brody: "Exactly. The king can call them outlaws all he wants, but those men can fight. And after tonight's little uprising, I suspect the Virtuous Blades are going to be eager to remind them what happens when you challenge Camelot."
The lights on the arena screens darken.
A tremendous hammer strike echoes throughout the Coliseum.
Sparks scatter across the screen.
The image of John Henry appears.
Then the enormous figure of Kong.
Behind the monster, the calculating face of Dr. Frankenstein emerges from the darkness.
MAIN EVENT – SINGLES CONTEST
JOHN HENRY
VS.
KONG
The crowd erupts.
Julian Ward: "And tonight's main event continues one of the most extraordinary winning streaks in the Mythic Division. John Henry, fresh from his tenth consecutive victory, faces perhaps his greatest physical challenge yet... Kong."
Footage from last week's Dark Fable appears.
John Henry lifts the enormous Ogre overhead.
The scene changes to the decisive bearhug.
Ogre submits.
At ringside, Dr. Frankenstein watches in silent disbelief.
Julian Ward: "Last week, John Henry forced Ogre to submit in just four minutes. Ten consecutive victories, and another of Dr. Frankenstein's enormous creations has failed to bring him down."
Brick Brody: "And now the doctor has brought out KONG! You want to talk about a monster, Julian? There he is! John Henry has been lifting giants, throwing monsters, and making men twice his size give up. But Kong is something else entirely!"
Julian Ward: "There is an unmistakable pattern emerging. Dr. Frankenstein continues to place increasingly formidable opposition before John Henry, apparently determined to discover the limits of his extraordinary strength."
Brick Brody: "And maybe tonight he finds them! Ten wins are impressive. Eleven would be even better. But you don't get number eleven just because you've won the first ten. You have to survive the monster standing in front of you."
Julian Ward: "A tremendous main event awaits us. John Henry against Kong. Power against power, with Dr. Frankenstein once again watching closely."
The complete match lineup fills the screen.
TONIGHT ON NPCW DARK FABLE – EPISODE 039
MATCH 1: Black Chapel vs. Queens of Punishment
MATCH 2: Six-Man Tag Team – King Arthur, Sir Lancelot & Sir Agravaine vs. Robin Hood & Two Partners TBA
MATCH 3: Universal Championship – Hansel (Champion) vs. Severin Crowne
MATCH 4: Hydra Veyne, Medussa Nemesis & Serpenta Veyne vs. Rosalyn the Queen of Thorns, Morgana Le Faye & Yurei Rinn
MATCH 5: Virtuous Blades vs. Merry Band – Friar Tuck & Little John
MAIN EVENT: John Henry vs. Kong
The camera returns to the commentary desk.
Julian Ward: "Six matches tonight. The Universal Championship will be defended. The extraordinary rise of John Henry faces another immense test. But perhaps most significantly, we have witnessed the beginning of something that may alter Camelot itself."
Brick Brody: "I'll tell you what it's altered, Julian. King Arthur isn't just angry anymore. He's got a man challenging his authority right to his face, and now the whole kingdom knows it. You don't get to call something a rebellion and then pretend it's just another wrestling rivalry."
Julian Ward: "Seven days ago, Robin Hood was a fugitive being hunted across the realms. Tonight, he has declared open resistance to the throne. His companions have demonstrated that they are willing to fight beside him. And before this evening is over, the king himself will face that rebellion inside an NPCW ring."
Brick Brody: "And I want to see whether Robin Hood has any idea what he's started. It's easy to stand in front of a throne and shout that you're starting a rebellion when you've got four men waiting to help you escape. It's a whole different proposition when King Arthur gets his hands on you in the ring."
Julian Ward: "Those answers will come later tonight. But first, the opening contest. The Black Chapel, having just petitioned the king for a championship opportunity, must turn its attention to the Queens of Punishment."
Brick Brody: "Enough talking about crowns, kings, and promises. We've got six matches to get through, Julian. And after the way this show has started, I don't expect anybody to show much mercy."
Julian Ward: "The struggle for the future of Camelot has entered a new and dangerous chapter. Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to DARK FABLE."
The camera slowly leaves the commentary desk.
Inside the ring, Louie Linville stands with microphone in hand as the official completes the final inspection of the ropes.
On the giant screen above the entrance, a final image briefly appears.
Robin Hood standing before the throne.
His declaration echoes once more.
Robin Hood: "THE REBELLION BEGINS NOW!"
The image dissolves into the Dark Fable crest.
The arena lights begin to dim.
MATCH 1 – THE BLACK CHAPEL VS. QUEENS OF PUNISHMENT – NEXT.

Referee: "Honest" Abe
The broadcast returns to the ring inside Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum, where the audience remains energized by the extraordinary confrontation that opened tonight's broadcast.
The declaration of rebellion by Robin Hood continues to dominate conversations throughout the arena. But the focus now shifts toward the opening contest, where two very different interpretations of power and punishment are about to collide.
Inside the ring, "Honest" Abe finishes checking the ropes while Louie Linville stands near the timekeeper's table, preparing his introduction.
The arena lights dim.
A deep church bell tolls.
Once.
Twice.
Then a low, haunting choral arrangement begins filling the Coliseum.
Dark crimson light spreads across the entrance arch. The image of an ancient chapel appears upon the enormous screens, its stained-glass windows illuminated by flickering candlelight.
Two figures emerge from the darkness.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne steps forward first, carrying herself with the cold dignity of a woman accustomed to judgment rather than negotiation.
Beside her walks Prioress Malveil, stern and imposing, her expression reflecting the unwavering conviction of someone who believes punishment is an obligation rather than a choice.
Together, they are THE BLACK CHAPEL.
A moment later, Prince John appears behind them.
Unlike his two representatives, the prince looks distinctly dissatisfied.
Only moments ago, he stood before King Arthur requesting an immediate opportunity at the North Star Tag Team Championships. Instead, the king awarded the first opportunity to Regina and Malice, leaving the Black Chapel waiting.
Prince John gestures angrily toward the ring before regaining his composure and beginning the walk.
Julian Ward: "We begin tonight's competition with the Black Chapel, accompanied by Prince John. Earlier this evening, the prince requested a North Star Tag Team Championship opportunity for Lady Isolde Blackthorne and Prioress Malveil. His Majesty acknowledged that request, but made it clear that Regina and Malice would receive the first opportunity against the reigning champions."
Brick Brody: "And Prince John is furious, Julian! He walked into that throne room with another bag of gold, expecting to buy his way straight into a championship match. Instead, he got told to wait his turn! And when he started complaining, Tin Man stepped forward and suddenly the prince remembered how to say thank you!"
Julian Ward: "Nevertheless, the Black Chapel has been promised an opportunity following the Queens of Despair's championship contest. But if these women intend to establish themselves as credible challengers, tonight's result will matter."
Brick Brody: "And these aren't two women who need somebody to tell them how to hurt an opponent. Isolde can tie you up and twist you apart. Malveil looks at wrestling like she's handing down a sentence. They just need to make sure Prince John doesn't get in the way."
At ringside, Prince John gestures grandly toward the ropes.
Lady Isolde ascends the steps without acknowledging him.
Prioress Malveil follows, entering the ring and immediately surveying the arena.
The two women stand together near their corner.
The choral music fades.
A sharp metallic sound echoes through the building.
The arena screens turn black.
Four playing-card symbols slowly emerge.
Hearts.
Diamonds.
Clubs.
Spades.
The heart turns crimson.
The spade turns midnight black.
A distorted orchestral arrangement begins as the symbols collide and shatter across the screen.
Crimson Viper, the Queen of Hearts, appears beneath the entrance arch.
She surveys the Coliseum with a commanding expression, seemingly delighted by the opportunity to demonstrate her authority through violence.
Beside her emerges Dark Duchess, the Queen of Spades, whose cold composure provides a dangerous contrast to her partner's more openly aggressive bearing.
Behind them walks the enigmatic Dark Hatter.
He pauses at the entrance, watching the ring with unsettling interest before following his representatives down the aisle.
Together, the two women are the QUEENS OF PUNISHMENT.
Julian Ward: "And their opponents tonight represent another formidable combination. Crimson Viper, the Queen of Hearts, and Dark Duchess, the Queen of Spades, accompanied by the ever-unpredictable Dark Hatter."
Brick Brody: "Now this is a dangerous team! The Queens of Punishment don't need a lecture about royalty. They think the whole world should kneel before them already. And that Dark Hatter is the sort of fellow who can make a fight miserable without ever stepping between the ropes."
Julian Ward: "Both teams possess considerable technical ability, and both have demonstrated a willingness to use methods that many competitors would consider excessive. With Prince John and the Dark Hatter at ringside, maintaining control of this match may prove particularly difficult for our official."
Brick Brody: "Then Honest Abe had better keep his eyes open. Two queens, two women from a chapel, and two managers who think the rules are suggestions. Sounds like an excellent way to start the night."
Crimson Viper climbs the ring steps and enters first.
Dark Duchess follows, pausing to examine the Black Chapel across the ring.
Dark Hatter remains on the floor, standing opposite Prince John.
The two managers exchange an extended look.
Neither offers a greeting.
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring and raises his microphone.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a TAG TEAM MATCH scheduled for ONE FALL, with a THIRTY-MINUTE TIME LIMIT!"
The Coliseum responds.
Louie Linville: "Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by PRINCE JOHN... a solemn union of judgment and punishment... LADY ISOLDE BLACKTHORNE and PRIORESS MALVEIL... THE BLACK CHAPEL!"
Lady Isolde raises her chin as Prioress Malveil stands motionless beside her.
Prince John applauds enthusiastically from ringside.
Louie Linville: "And their opponents... accompanied by the DARK HATTER... representing the Queen of Hearts and the Queen of Spades... CRIMSON VIPER and DARK DUCHESS... THE QUEENS OF PUNISHMENT!"
Crimson Viper throws her arms outward, accepting the audience's reaction as though it were a royal tribute.
Dark Duchess offers only a cold smile.
"Honest" Abe moves between the teams and delivers his instructions.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne elects to begin for the Black Chapel.
Crimson Viper steps forward for the Queens of Punishment.
Their partners move toward the respective corners.
The referee checks both competitors.
The bell rings.
Minute 1
Lady Isolde Blackthorne advances cautiously, extending one hand as she attempts to establish a collar-and-elbow tie-up.
Crimson Viper meets her near the centre of the ring.
Both women struggle briefly for position before Crimson Viper forces her opponent backward.
Lady Isolde attempts to twist free, but the Queen of Hearts maintains control of her upper body.
Crimson Viper suddenly shifts her grip.
She hooks the arm, positions herself beneath her opponent, and lifts.
Delayed Vertical Suplex!
Lady Isolde remains suspended upside down as Crimson Viper demonstrates her strength.
The audience reacts to the prolonged hold.
Then Crimson Viper falls backward, driving Lady Isolde into the canvas with tremendous force.
The impact leaves the Black Chapel representative clutching her lower back.
Crimson Viper rises and gestures imperiously toward her opponent.
But Lady Isolde refuses to engage in another immediate power exchange.
She rolls toward her corner and reaches upward.
Prioress Malveil accepts the tag.
Across the ring, Crimson Viper withdraws toward her own corner.
Dark Duchess enters.
Julian Ward: "A powerful opening from Crimson Viper, who held Lady Isolde Blackthorne suspended before delivering that delayed vertical suplex. The impact was substantial, and Isolde has wisely elected to bring in her partner."
Brick Brody: "That's how you introduce yourself! Pick somebody up, hold them there long enough for the whole building to see it, then drop them flat on their back! Viper didn't just want to hurt Isolde. She wanted to embarrass her."
Julian Ward: "Both teams have made early changes. We will now see whether Prioress Malveil can establish a different rhythm against Dark Duchess."
Minute 2
Dark Duchess enters aggressively, circling Prioress Malveil before attempting to catch her with a quick headscissors.
She springs upward.
Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors!
Malveil is thrown across the canvas, rolling toward the ropes.
Dark Duchess immediately looks toward her corner.
Crimson Viper reaches forward.
Tag!
The Queens begin working together.
Dark Duchess drags Malveil upright while Crimson Viper approaches from the opposite side.
Crimson Viper catches the disoriented opponent around the head and turns sharply.
Swinging Neckbreaker!
Malveil crashes onto her back.
The Queens of Punishment appear to have established immediate control.
But Prioress Malveil fights back.
As Dark Duchess attempts to follow with another attack, Malveil catches her around the waist, forces her forward and drives her face-first into the canvas.
Wheelbarrow Bulldog!
The crowd reacts sharply.
Dark Duchess rolls away holding her face as Crimson Viper moves forward to protect her partner.
"Honest" Abe demands that the illegal competitor return to the apron.
Julian Ward: "Excellent teamwork from the Queens of Punishment. The tilt-a-whirl headscissors and swinging neckbreaker placed Malveil under immediate pressure, but that wheelbarrow bulldog was a significant counterattack."
Brick Brody: "And that tells me something about Malveil. She doesn't panic when she's getting beaten up. She waits until somebody gets too close, then drives their face into the mat. That's a useful quality when you're fighting two women who love working together."
Julian Ward: "The opening exchanges have been highly physical. Neither team appears willing to concede control, and the referee has already needed to intervene to maintain the proper legal pairing."
Minute 3
Dark Duchess attempts to restore the Queens' advantage.
She catches Prioress Malveil from behind and threads both arms around the upper body.
Straight Jacket Choke!
The hold restricts Malveil's shoulders and neck, forcing her to struggle for leverage.
Crimson Viper watches from the corner, urging her partner to tighten the hold.
But Malveil gradually works her feet beneath her.
She shifts her hips, turns through the pressure and breaks the grip.
Dark Duchess attempts to regain control, but Malveil strikes first.
She catches the Queen of Spades around the upper body.
Faithbreaker Suplex!
Dark Duchess is lifted vertically before being driven into the canvas.
The impact breaks the Queens' momentum.
Malveil rises to one knee and watches her opponent carefully.
Dark Duchess moves toward the ropes, attempting to recover.
"Honest" Abe restores order as the opening double-team pressure finally subsides.
Julian Ward: "The Straight Jacket Choke was applied effectively by Dark Duchess, but Prioress Malveil escaped and answered with the Faithbreaker Suplex. The Black Chapel is refusing to surrender the early advantage."
Brick Brody: "I like that suplex. Nothing fancy, nothing wasted. She took the Queen of Spades off her feet and drove her into the ring. That's the kind of punishment that makes somebody think twice about grabbing you again."
Julian Ward: "Malveil has now answered two periods of sustained pressure with decisive counters. Her resilience is becoming a significant factor."
Minute 4
Prioress Malveil presses forward before Dark Duchess can completely recover.
She catches her opponent around the waist, shifts into position and lifts again.
Faithbreaker Suplex!
The second vertical suplex sends Dark Duchess crashing heavily onto the canvas.
Malveil rises immediately and reaches to pull her opponent away from the ropes.
But at ringside, Dark Hatter suddenly begins moving along the apron.
He calls toward Malveil, making an exaggerated gesture as though directing her attention toward something behind her.
Malveil turns instinctively.
For one moment, her focus leaves her opponent.
That is all Dark Duchess needs.
The Queen of Spades slips around the distracted competitor, catches her arm and draws her into a sudden trap near the Queens' corner.
Malveil struggles to escape as Dark Duchess uses the ropes and her positioning to prevent an immediate counter.
"Honest" Abe notices the developing situation and orders Dark Hatter away from the apron.
The manager retreats, appearing entirely satisfied.
Dark Duchess releases her opponent and reaches toward the corner.
Tag!
Crimson Viper returns to the ring.
Julian Ward: "Another Faithbreaker Suplex from Malveil, but Dark Hatter has intervened through misdirection. He drew her attention away just long enough for Dark Duchess to escape and maneuver her into a vulnerable position."
Brick Brody: "That's what the Hatter does, Julian! He doesn't need to hit anybody. He gets you looking where you shouldn't be looking, and suddenly you're trapped. Malveil had that exchange won until she started paying attention to the wrong man."
Julian Ward: "And now Crimson Viper returns. The Queens have survived another dangerous attack and successfully changed the legal competitor."
Minute 5
Crimson Viper advances toward Prioress Malveil, looking to restore the aggression established during the opening minute.
She reaches for a tie-up.
But Malveil catches her arm and immediately changes levels.
She twists beneath the Queen of Hearts, traps the leg and forces her downward.
Sanctified End!
The inverted STF is locked in!
Crimson Viper cries out as Malveil draws back on the hold, twisting her opponent's neck and placing tremendous pressure across the trapped leg.
"Honest" Abe drops beside them.
"Honest" Abe: "Do you submit?"
Crimson Viper shakes her head violently.
She refuses!
Malveil tightens the hold.
Crimson Viper begins dragging herself toward the ropes, using her free arm to inch across the canvas.
Dark Duchess shouts encouragement from the corner.
Finally, Crimson Viper manages to force enough separation to escape the submission attempt.
She rolls toward her corner, clutching her neck.
Malveil rises slowly, recognizing that the hold has taken a considerable toll on her as well.
Both teams make the change.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne enters for the Black Chapel.
Dark Duchess returns for the Queens of Punishment.
Julian Ward: "The Sanctified End was secured, and Crimson Viper was in serious difficulty. She refused to submit, but that hold placed considerable pressure upon the neck and lower body."
Brick Brody: "That's a nasty submission, Julian. Malveil had her twisted in two different directions. I'll give Viper credit for surviving it, because there are plenty of wrestlers who would've surrendered right there."
Julian Ward: "A very important escape for the Queens. Both teams now bring in fresh competitors after five increasingly punishing minutes."
Minute 6
Dark Duchess wastes little time upon returning.
She charges toward Lady Isolde Blackthorne, reaching for the head and shoulders.
Queen's Checkmate!
The Queen of Spades attempts her double-knee facebreaker.
But Lady Isolde recognizes the danger.
She catches her opponent before the maneuver can be completed, shifts her weight and twists behind her.
The facebreaker is reversed!
Lady Isolde immediately threads an arm beneath Dark Duchess's chin and pulls her backward.
Royal Guillotine!
The Dragon Sleeper is secured!
Dark Duchess arches backward as the pressure forces her neck into an unnatural position.
She attempts to pry the arm away, but Lady Isolde tightens her grip.
"Honest" Abe asks whether the Queen of Spades wishes to submit.
Dark Duchess refuses.
She fights desperately, twisting her shoulders and gradually working free of the hold.
Lady Isolde releases before the struggle can carry them into the ropes.
Both women retreat toward their corners.
Tags are made.
Prioress Malveil returns.
Crimson Viper enters opposite her.
Julian Ward: "An excellent counter from Lady Isolde Blackthorne! She prevented Queen's Checkmate and immediately transitioned into the Royal Guillotine. Dark Duchess was forced to defend a very dangerous Dragon Sleeper."
Brick Brody: "That's the danger of dropping backward into a facebreaker against somebody who knows submissions. Duchess thought she had the attack lined up, and Isolde turned it into a choke. She was one mistake away from having her neck twisted apart."
Julian Ward: "Both sides have now threatened significant submissions. Through six minutes, neither has been able to force a surrender or sustain complete control."
Minute 7
Crimson Viper returns with noticeably greater aggression.
She advances toward Prioress Malveil, catches her with a forearm across the upper chest and immediately moves behind her.
Malveil attempts to turn through the grip.
But Crimson Viper maintains control around the waist.
Belly-to-Back Suplex!
Malveil is lifted off her feet and driven backward onto the canvas.
The impact leaves her momentarily stunned.
Crimson Viper rises and drags her opponent farther from the Black Chapel corner.
She delivers a hard forearm to the shoulder, attempting to prevent Malveil from getting upright.
Prince John pounds the apron in protest.
Crimson Viper ignores him.
Malveil eventually pushes herself to one knee, but the Queen of Hearts remains directly in front of her.
Julian Ward: "A strong belly-to-back suplex from Crimson Viper. She has now shifted her attention toward the upper body and is attempting to isolate Prioress Malveil away from her partner."
Brick Brody: "Smart wrestling. Malveil has been dangerous whenever she gets her hands on somebody, so Viper is making sure she spends more time on her back than on her feet."
Julian Ward: "The Queen of Hearts has restored a measure of control. But given what we have already witnessed from Malveil, she cannot afford to become careless."
Minute 8
Crimson Viper continues protecting her advantage, keeping Prioress Malveil near the centre of the ring.
Malveil reaches for a waistlock, but Crimson Viper breaks contact before the hold can settle.
Both women circle cautiously.
At ringside, however, Prince John has apparently grown dissatisfied with the proceedings.
He leaves the Black Chapel corner and marches directly toward the commentary desk.
Prince John: "This is an outrage! An absolute outrage! Are you gentlemen watching the same contest I am?"
Brick Brody turns toward him.
Brick Brody: "Unfortunately, I am. And I'd appreciate it if you'd stop shouting in my ear."
Prince John: "My representatives are being subjected to the most disgraceful treatment! I demand that you acknowledge the extraordinary injustice taking place!"
Julian Ward: "Your Highness, both teams have been competing aggressively. The referee has not identified any violation requiring a disqualification."
Prince John: "Then perhaps the referee is as blind as you two!"
Back inside the ring, Malveil attempts to advance, but Crimson Viper keeps her distance and refuses to offer a clean opening.
"Honest" Abe watches the exchange while occasionally glancing toward the commotion at ringside.
Dark Hatter remains opposite the prince, apparently amused by the entire spectacle.
Prince John finally returns toward his corner, still protesting loudly.
Brick Brody: "There he goes. He spent more time arguing with us than helping his own team. I'm starting to understand why King Arthur keeps losing patience with him."
Julian Ward: "The disturbance has not altered the match itself. Crimson Viper maintained her defensive positioning, but Malveil continues searching for an opportunity to regain control."
Minute 9
Prioress Malveil finally catches Crimson Viper stepping forward.
She drives a hard strike into the Queen of Hearts' midsection, forcing her to bend forward.
Malveil immediately secures the head.
Penance DDT!
Crimson Viper is driven face-first into the canvas.
The audience responds sharply.
Malveil rises slowly, looking down at her opponent with the same stern expression she carried into the ring.
Crimson Viper rolls onto her side, clutching her head.
Malveil pulls her opponent away from the ropes, but the prolonged struggle has clearly taken something out of her.
She turns toward her corner.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne extends her hand.
Tag!
Lady Isolde returns to the contest while Crimson Viper struggles to regain her footing.
Prince John applauds from ringside, apparently convinced that his recent complaints have inspired the turnaround.
Julian Ward: "Penance DDT! Prioress Malveil has found the opening she was seeking, and Crimson Viper has absorbed a substantial impact to the head and neck."
Brick Brody: "That's how you end a stalemate. Stop reaching for holds, kick somebody in the stomach and drive their head into the ring. Malveil made that one count."
Julian Ward: "And now Lady Isolde returns. The Black Chapel has an opportunity to build upon its partner's successful counterattack."
Minute 10
Crimson Viper attempts to create distance from the advancing Lady Isolde Blackthorne.
She slips between the ropes and drops to the floor, seeking a moment to recover from the Penance DDT.
But Lady Isolde refuses to allow the retreat.
She races toward the opposite ropes.
Rebounds.
And launches herself through the opening!
Suicide Dive!
Lady Isolde crashes into Crimson Viper at ringside, driving both women backward against the barricade.
The Coliseum erupts.
Both women struggle upright.
Lady Isolde attempts to follow with another attack, but Crimson Viper suddenly surges forward.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
The flying clothesline catches Lady Isolde with tremendous force!
Both women collide heavily near the ringside barrier.
Crimson Viper remains down on the floor, holding her shoulder after the violent exchange.
Lady Isolde manages to stagger back toward the apron and pull herself into the ring.
"Honest" Abe begins counting the Queen of Hearts.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Crimson Viper pushes herself onto one knee.
FOUR!
FIVE!
She begins crawling toward the apron.
SIX!
SEVEN!
Dark Hatter gestures urgently toward the ropes.
EIGHT!
Crimson Viper slides beneath the bottom rope!
She beats the count!
The match continues.
Julian Ward: "An extraordinary exchange outside the ring! Lady Isolde connected with the suicide dive, but Crimson Viper answered with Off With Their Heads. The Queen of Hearts barely returned before the referee's count could reach ten."
Brick Brody: "That's the kind of fighting I came to see! Isolde threw herself through the ropes, and Viper nearly took her head off! But look at the damage. Both women are hurting, and we've only reached ten minutes."
Julian Ward: "The physical demands of this match are increasing. That ringside collision may influence both competitors' ability to execute their offense as we continue."
Minute 11
Lady Isolde Blackthorne moves toward Crimson Viper as the Queen of Hearts rises near the ropes.
She catches her around the head and begins turning into a Judicial Neckbreaker.
But Crimson Viper plants her boots and prevents the rotation.
She twists underneath the arm.
Slips behind her opponent.
And locks her hands around the waist.
Belly-to-Back Suplex!
Lady Isolde crashes backward into the canvas.
Crimson Viper rises unsteadily, still feeling the effects of the previous minute's exchange.
She pulls Isolde upright and drives a forearm into her upper back.
The Black Chapel representative staggers toward the ropes.
Crimson Viper follows, refusing to allow her opponent enough time to recover.
Julian Ward: "The Judicial Neckbreaker was countered, and Crimson Viper has answered with another belly-to-back suplex. That is becoming one of her most effective weapons tonight."
Brick Brody: "And notice the timing. Isolde thought she had the neckbreaker ready, but Viper planted her feet and turned the whole thing around. That's good wrestling, especially when you're already hurting."
Julian Ward: "The Queen of Hearts appears determined to capitalize before the Black Chapel can regain its momentum."
Minute 12
Crimson Viper maintains control near the centre of the ring.
She catches Lady Isolde with a sharp strike to the upper body before securing a front facelock.
Isolde attempts to block the lift.
But Crimson Viper shifts her weight and powers upward.
Delayed Vertical Suplex!
Once again, the Queen of Hearts holds her opponent suspended above the canvas.
Lady Isolde struggles to escape, but the grip remains secure.
Crimson Viper falls backward.
The impact drives Isolde into the mat.
For several seconds, the Black Chapel representative remains down.
Crimson Viper rises and looks toward her partner, but before she can secure another hold, Lady Isolde manages to crawl toward her corner.
Prioress Malveil reaches forward.
Tag!
Malveil enters as Lady Isolde retreats to the apron.
Julian Ward: "Another delayed vertical suplex from Crimson Viper. She has returned to the same technique that established her advantage in the opening minute, and Lady Isolde has absorbed considerable punishment."
Brick Brody: "And it hasn't gotten any softer the second time! Viper is making a point. If she gets her hands around you, she can put you on your back. Isolde was smart to get out of there."
Julian Ward: "The tag brings Prioress Malveil back into the contest. She now faces a Crimson Viper who has regained a significant measure of confidence."
Minute 13
Crimson Viper immediately meets Prioress Malveil near the centre.
She catches her opponent in a front facelock and attempts to lift.
Snap Suplex!
Malveil crashes onto her back.
But Crimson Viper refuses to release the grip.
She rolls through.
Pulls Malveil upright.
And delivers a second Snap Suplex!
The crowd reacts.
Again, Crimson Viper maintains control.
She forces the Black Chapel representative upward one more time.
A third Snap Suplex!
Malveil lands heavily, clutching her lower back.
Crimson Viper rises and steps backward, surveying the damage.
Prince John shouts angrily from ringside, demanding that his representative respond.
Malveil struggles onto one knee, her expression hardening with frustration.
Julian Ward: "Three consecutive snap suplexes from Crimson Viper. She has now established a sustained period of offensive control, and Prioress Malveil is absorbing repeated punishment to her back."
Brick Brody: "That's how you wear somebody down. One suplex hurts. Two make it difficult to breathe. Three start making your body question whether it wants to get up again. Viper is doing excellent work."
Julian Ward: "The Queens have become increasingly effective at keeping their opponents on the defensive. But neither team has yet managed to secure a decisive pinfall attempt."
Minute 14
Crimson Viper forces Prioress Malveil toward the Queens' corner.
Dark Duchess reaches over the top rope.
Tag!
The Queens of Punishment move together.
Crimson Viper catches Malveil around the waist and lifts her into another belly-to-back suplex.
The impact drives Malveil backward onto the canvas.
Before she can recover, Dark Duchess moves in.
She traps both arms and forces Malveil into a Straight Jacket Choke!
Malveil struggles beneath the pressure, attempting to break the grip.
Crimson Viper remains nearby, preventing an immediate escape toward the ropes.
"Honest" Abe orders the illegal competitor back toward the apron.
Crimson Viper finally complies, but only after giving her partner enough time to strengthen the hold.
Malveil eventually twists sideways and forces enough separation to break the choke.
She rolls toward the centre, breathing heavily.
Dark Duchess follows, determined to maintain the pressure.
Julian Ward: "Another effective combination from the Queens of Punishment. Crimson Viper delivered the belly-to-back suplex, and Dark Duchess followed with the Straight Jacket Choke. Malveil has been unable to establish a sustained response."
Brick Brody: "And that's what happens when you get trapped in the wrong corner. One queen throws you around, the other tries to choke you out, and there's nobody coming to rescue you unless your partner can get past the referee."
Julian Ward: "The Queens have used their teamwork very effectively. Lady Isolde remains on the apron, watching her partner struggle to regain control."
Minute 15
Prioress Malveil manages to force herself upright near the ropes.
Crimson Viper returns as the legal competitor and immediately advances.
At ringside, Prince John attempts to involve himself.
He climbs onto the apron and begins shouting toward the Queen of Hearts.
Prince John: "You! Cease your disgraceful conduct immediately!"
Crimson Viper turns toward him with obvious irritation.
Malveil approaches from behind, attempting to take advantage of the distraction.
But Prince John suddenly swings his arm across the ropes, trying to strike Crimson Viper.
The Queen of Hearts moves aside.
His arm catches Prioress Malveil instead!
The crowd erupts.
Prince John freezes in horror.
Prioress Malveil staggers backward, stunned by the accidental blow.
Crimson Viper sees the opening.
She charges.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
The flying clothesline crashes into Malveil, sending her sprawling across the canvas!
Crimson Viper immediately hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
Prioress Malveil kicks out!
Crimson Viper sits upright, frustrated by the early escape.
At ringside, Prince John is still protesting that his accidental strike was somehow the Queen of Hearts' fault.
Julian Ward: "An extraordinary mistake from Prince John! His attempt to interfere struck his own representative, and Crimson Viper immediately capitalized with Off With Their Heads. But Malveil escaped the cover at one."
Brick Brody: "There he goes again! Prince John spends half the night sticking his hands where they don't belong, and now he's hit his own wrestler! He did the same sort of thing to Will Scarlett last week. You'd think he'd learn!"
Julian Ward: "The mistake nearly proved costly, but Malveil remains in the match. The Queens continue to control the more significant exchanges as we reach the halfway point of the time limit."
Minute 16
Both competitors show the effects of fifteen punishing minutes.
Prioress Malveil rises slowly, protecting her upper body.
Crimson Viper approaches, but neither woman commits immediately.
They circle.
Malveil reaches for a tie-up.
Crimson Viper withdraws.
Another engagement produces only a brief struggle before both women separate again.
The audience grows restless.
Then Crimson Viper suddenly changes levels.
She catches Malveil by the legs and pulls her to the canvas.
Sharpshooter!
Malveil cries out as the Queen of Hearts turns her over and applies pressure across the lower back.
Dark Duchess enters during the confusion, moving quickly toward her trapped opponent.
As the first hold is released in the struggle, Dark Duchess catches Malveil around the head and arm.
Spade's Edge Crossface!
The Queen of Spades wrenches backward, tightening the submission.
"Honest" Abe moves toward the illegal competitor, demanding that she release the hold and return to her corner.
But Malveil manages to free one arm.
She drives her open palm sharply into Dark Duchess's face!
Divine Palm!
The strike breaks the submission and sends Dark Duchess staggering backward.
Crimson Viper advances again, preventing Malveil from reaching her partner.
Julian Ward: "A remarkable sequence of submission attempts from the Queens of Punishment. Crimson Viper applied the Sharpshooter, and Dark Duchess followed with Spade's Edge. But Malveil found an opening and broke the crossface with the Divine Palm."
Brick Brody: "That's a brutal combination. Attack the back, attack the neck, make somebody decide which part of her body hurts worse. But Malveil had one hand free, and she used it to smack Duchess right in the face. Good for her."
Julian Ward: "The referee is having increasing difficulty controlling the double-team attacks. This has become a prolonged struggle between two teams unwilling to surrender even the smallest advantage."
Minute 17
Dark Duchess attempts to resume the attack after recovering from the Divine Palm.
She catches Prioress Malveil from behind as the Black Chapel representative attempts to rise.
Camel Clutch!
Dark Duchess sits back, drawing Malveil's head and shoulders upward while forcing her body against the canvas.
Crimson Viper remains near the corner, recovering from the earlier exchanges.
Malveil struggles against the pressure.
She works one knee beneath her.
Then the other.
Dark Duchess attempts to maintain her grip, but Malveil powers upward.
She catches the Queen of Spades around the waist and abruptly changes direction.
Wheelbarrow Bulldog!
Dark Duchess is driven face-first into the canvas!
The crowd reacts.
Malveil remains on one knee, exhausted by the effort required to escape.
Across the ring, Lady Isolde reaches over the ropes, urging her partner toward the corner.
But Dark Duchess rises enough to block the path.
Julian Ward: "The Camel Clutch placed Prioress Malveil under serious pressure, but once again she has answered with the wheelbarrow bulldog. Her ability to counter while absorbing punishment has kept the Black Chapel in this contest."
Brick Brody: "That was a terrific escape. Duchess had her bent backward, and Malveil somehow got her feet underneath her and drove the Queen of Spades into the ring. That's not easy after seventeen minutes."
Julian Ward: "But the damage continues to accumulate. Malveil has spent significant portions of this match fighting out of dangerous positions."
Minute 18
Crimson Viper moves quickly to restore the Queens' advantage.
She catches Prioress Malveil as the latter attempts to reach her corner.
Swinging Neckbreaker!
Malveil is driven sharply into the canvas.
Dark Duchess immediately moves toward the turnbuckles.
She climbs to the middle rope, watching Malveil struggle beneath her.
Corner Diving Double Knee Drop!
Both knees crash into the upper body of the fallen opponent!
The impact forces a cry from Malveil.
The Queens of Punishment appear to have overwhelmed her.
But Malveil refuses to stay down.
She catches Dark Duchess by the wrist as the Queen of Spades approaches again.
Ripcord Middle Kicks!
Malveil pulls her opponent forward and delivers a succession of sharp kicks into the midsection.
Dark Duchess staggers backward.
Crimson Viper attempts to intervene, but "Honest" Abe moves between them and orders the illegal competitor away.
Malveil remains standing, breathing heavily.
Her expression is one of exhausted determination.
Julian Ward: "The swinging neckbreaker and diving double knee drop were devastating, but Malveil answered with those ripcord middle kicks. She continues to find ways to resist sustained double-team pressure."
Brick Brody: "I don't know how much more of this she can take, Julian. Those knees landed hard. But I'll tell you something about Malveil: she doesn't seem to know when she's supposed to stay down."
Julian Ward: "And that refusal has kept the contest competitive. Eighteen minutes have elapsed, and neither team has found a decisive finish."
Minute 19
Prioress Malveil catches Crimson Viper moving forward.
The Queen of Hearts attempts to secure another front facelock.
But Malveil shifts beneath the grip and traps her opponent's leg.
Sanctified End!
The inverted STF is locked in again!
Crimson Viper twists violently, refusing to allow the hold to settle completely.
She manages to turn through the pressure and break free before Malveil can force a submission.
Both women scramble upright.
Crimson Viper immediately catches her opponent around the head.
Snap Suplex!
She rolls through.
A second Snap Suplex!
Malveil crashes onto her back.
But as Crimson Viper attempts to continue, Malveil catches the leg again.
She twists.
And forces the Queen of Hearts back down!
Sanctified End!
Crimson Viper is trapped once more!
"Honest" Abe drops beside the competitors.
"Honest" Abe: "Do you give up?"
Crimson Viper shakes her head.
She refuses to submit!
The Queen of Hearts claws toward the ropes and eventually forces the release.
Malveil rolls backward, visibly frustrated that the hold has failed her again.
Julian Ward: "Another extraordinary exchange. Malveil repeatedly threatened the Sanctified End, while Crimson Viper answered with successive snap suplexes. The final submission attempt was secured, but once again the Queen of Hearts refused to surrender."
Brick Brody: "That's three different occasions tonight when Viper has found herself fighting that hold. And she still hasn't tapped. You can question her attitude, but you cannot question her toughness."
Julian Ward: "The cumulative damage must be substantial. Both competitors have absorbed repeated attacks to the neck, back and shoulders, and neither appears capable of maintaining control for more than a brief period."
Minute 20
Prioress Malveil rises slowly.
Across from her, Crimson Viper pushes herself upright near the ropes.
Malveil moves immediately toward the Queen of Hearts.
She reaches for the leg, looking to secure the Sanctified End yet again.
But Crimson Viper reacts first.
She breaks the grip, steps backward and launches herself forward.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
The flying clothesline catches Malveil flush across the upper body!
The Black Chapel representative crashes onto her back.
Crimson Viper falls beside her and immediately hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe slides into position.
ONE!
TWO!
LADY ISOLDE BLACKTHORNE MAKES THE SAVE!
Lady Isolde charges through the ropes and breaks the cover just before the third count!
The crowd erupts.
Crimson Viper sits upright, furious at the interruption.
Lady Isolde retreats toward her corner as the referee orders her back outside.
Malveil rolls onto her side, barely moving.
Crimson Viper rises and looks toward her partner.
Tag!
Dark Duchess enters.
Julian Ward: "Off With Their Heads connects again! Crimson Viper had the cover, but Lady Isolde arrived just in time to prevent the three-count. That may have saved the match for the Black Chapel."
Brick Brody: "That was close, Julian! Malveil wasn't getting out of that cover on her own. Isolde had to come in and save her. That's what a partner is supposed to do, and she couldn't have waited another second."
Julian Ward: "Twenty minutes have elapsed. The Queens have come closer to securing a pinfall, but the Black Chapel has survived another serious threat."
Minute 21
Dark Duchess enters and immediately advances toward the exhausted Prioress Malveil.
She catches her around the head and attempts to drag her toward the Queens' corner.
But Malveil plants her feet.
She catches the Queen of Spades around the waist and suddenly shifts her weight.
Wheelbarrow Bulldog!
Dark Duchess crashes face-first into the canvas.
The impact sends her rolling toward the ropes.
Malveil rises unsteadily and follows, refusing to allow the fresher opponent time to establish another submission.
She drives a forearm into Dark Duchess's upper back.
Then another.
Dark Duchess attempts to turn into the attack, but Malveil maintains control of the wrist and pulls her away from the ropes.
Prince John applauds loudly, calling for his representative to finish the match.
Julian Ward: "The wheelbarrow bulldog connects again! Malveil has used that maneuver repeatedly tonight, and it continues to provide an effective answer whenever the Queens attempt to control her at close range."
Brick Brody: "And that's what makes her dangerous. She's exhausted, she's been beaten around for twenty minutes, but she still knows exactly how to turn somebody over and plant their face. Duchess walked straight into it."
Julian Ward: "An important response from the Black Chapel. With the time limit approaching its final third, every successful exchange becomes increasingly significant."
Minute 22
Prioress Malveil attempts to capitalize on the wheelbarrow bulldog.
She catches Dark Duchess near the centre and reaches for the leg.
Sanctified End!
But the Queen of Spades recognizes the setup.
She twists her body, frees the trapped leg and threads her arm around Malveil's head.
Spade's Edge Crossface!
The hold is secured!
Malveil is forced onto the canvas as Dark Duchess wrenches backward with both arms.
The audience rises.
"Honest" Abe kneels beside the trapped competitor.
"Honest" Abe: "Do you submit?"
Malveil refuses.
She attempts to pull her arm free.
Dark Duchess tightens the grip.
The Black Chapel representative cries out but continues struggling.
Lady Isolde leans desperately over the ropes, shouting encouragement.
Slowly, Malveil inches toward the nearest rope.
She stretches her free hand.
And finally catches the bottom strand.
"Honest" Abe orders the break.
Dark Duchess releases at the referee's count, clearly dissatisfied.
Julian Ward: "Spade's Edge Crossface! Dark Duchess countered the attempted Sanctified End and secured a dangerous submission of her own. Malveil refused to surrender and managed to reach the ropes."
Brick Brody: "Now that was a beautiful counter. Malveil went looking for the same hold again, and Duchess was ready. She trapped the head, locked the arm and nearly tore her opponent apart. But you still have to make somebody quit, and Malveil wouldn't do it."
Julian Ward: "That refusal is becoming the defining feature of this contest. Both teams have connected with significant submissions, yet neither has been able to force the decisive surrender."
Minute 23
Prioress Malveil retreats toward her corner, looking to create an opportunity for her partner.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne reaches over the ropes.
Tag!
The Black Chapel begins working together.
Malveil catches Dark Duchess around the upper body and lifts.
Faithbreaker Suplex!
The Queen of Spades crashes onto her back.
Lady Isolde immediately follows with a vicious roundhouse kick as Dark Duchess struggles upward.
The strike catches her across the side of the head.
Dark Duchess staggers.
But she refuses to fall.
Instead, she catches Lady Isolde as the latter reaches forward.
Spade's Edge Crossface!
Lady Isolde is dragged to the canvas!
Malveil immediately moves toward the hold, forcing Dark Duchess to release before the submission can become fully decisive.
"Honest" Abe steps between the women, ordering Malveil back toward the corner.
Dark Duchess rolls away, clutching her head after the roundhouse kick.
Julian Ward: "The Black Chapel has answered with its own combination attack. The Faithbreaker Suplex and roundhouse kick connected, but Dark Duchess somehow managed to threaten Spade's Edge again before the hold was broken."
Brick Brody: "That's remarkable toughness from the Queen of Spades. She got suplexed, kicked in the head, and still had enough left to catch Isolde in a crossface. These women are beating the life out of one another."
Julian Ward: "Twenty-three minutes have elapsed, and this contest continues to swing between dangerous offense and determined defensive wrestling."
Minute 24
Prioress Malveil moves quickly as Dark Duchess struggles upright.
She catches her opponent with a sharp kick to the midsection.
Then steps forward.
Superkick!
The blow catches Dark Duchess beneath the chin and sends her staggering backward.
Lady Isolde moves into position.
She catches the Queen of Spades from behind.
Velvet Backstabber!
Dark Duchess is driven backward across Isolde's knees!
The crowd reacts sharply.
The Black Chapel has finally assembled a sustained combination of its own.
But Dark Duchess refuses to surrender control.
As Lady Isolde approaches, the Queen of Spades suddenly springs upward.
Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors!
Lady Isolde is thrown across the canvas.
Dark Duchess lands on one knee, breathing heavily.
Prioress Malveil returns to the centre as the referee orders the legal competitors to remain engaged.
The four women eventually separate into their proper positions.
Julian Ward: "A tremendous combination from the Black Chapel. The superkick and Velvet Backstabber connected, but Dark Duchess answered with the tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Neither team has been able to sustain a finishing sequence."
Brick Brody: "I don't know how Duchess is still moving after that backstabber. She got dropped straight across Isolde's knees and somehow found the strength to throw her across the ring. That takes experience and a lot of stubbornness."
Julian Ward: "Six minutes remain in the scheduled time limit. Both teams are showing considerable fatigue, but the intensity has not diminished."
Minute 25
Prioress Malveil advances toward Dark Duchess, who is struggling to regain her balance.
She catches the Queen of Spades in a tight headlock.
Dark Duchess attempts to push her away.
But Malveil shifts her grip and forces her opponent forward.
Rite of Silence!
The Headlock Driver plants Dark Duchess violently into the canvas!
The crowd gasps at the impact.
Dark Duchess rolls onto her side, holding her head.
Malveil rises slowly, looking toward the fallen opponent.
She reaches down to continue the attack.
But Dark Duchess manages to crawl toward her corner.
Crimson Viper stretches her arm through the ropes.
Tag!
The Queen of Hearts returns.
Malveil watches her approach, breathing heavily after the prolonged exchange.
Julian Ward: "Rite of Silence from Prioress Malveil! That headlock driver was a particularly dangerous attack, and Dark Duchess has been fortunate to reach her corner before further punishment could follow."
Brick Brody: "That was ugly, Julian! Malveil dropped her straight down, and Duchess had to crawl out of there. That's not a bad decision after twenty-five minutes. Sometimes the smartest move is getting somebody fresh into the fight."
Julian Ward: "The Queens have made that change. But Crimson Viper has already endured considerable punishment, particularly from repeated submission attempts. Whether she can now capitalize remains to be seen."
Minute 26
Crimson Viper enters cautiously.
Prioress Malveil immediately advances, attempting to catch the Queen of Hearts before she can establish momentum.
She secures the front facelock.
Faithbreaker Suplex!
But Crimson Viper blocks the lift!
She plants her boots, breaks the grip and catches Malveil around the waist.
Then she powers upward.
Sitout Powerbomb!
Malveil is driven into the canvas with tremendous force!
The Coliseum erupts.
Crimson Viper immediately hooks both legs.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
TWO!
LADY ISOLDE MAKES THE SAVE!
For the second time tonight, Lady Isolde Blackthorne charges into the ring and breaks a seemingly decisive pinfall attempt!
Crimson Viper slams one hand against the canvas in frustration.
Prince John cheers wildly from ringside.
Dark Hatter watches the interrupted cover with visible displeasure.
Malveil remains down, struggling to recover from the powerbomb.
Julian Ward: "Sitout Powerbomb! Crimson Viper countered the Faithbreaker Suplex and appeared to have the victory secured, but Lady Isolde has saved her partner for the second time tonight!"
Brick Brody: "And that was even closer than the first one! Malveil got driven straight down, and there was no chance she was kicking out before three. Isolde has kept this team alive twice now."
Julian Ward: "Twenty-six minutes have elapsed. The time limit is becoming a very real factor, and both teams are now desperate to produce a decisive finish."
Minute 27
Prioress Malveil forces herself upright as Crimson Viper approaches.
The Queen of Hearts reaches for another power maneuver.
But Malveil catches her with a sudden strike to the midsection.
She hooks the head.
Penance DDT!
Crimson Viper is driven face-first into the canvas!
The crowd reacts.
Malveil rises and attempts to follow, but Crimson Viper surges upward with one final burst of aggression.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
The flying clothesline catches Malveil across the chest!
Both women collapse onto the canvas.
For several seconds, neither moves.
"Honest" Abe begins checking both competitors.
Finally, Crimson Viper rolls toward her corner.
Dark Duchess reaches over the ropes.
Tag!
The Queen of Spades returns.
Julian Ward: "Penance DDT from Malveil, answered immediately by another Off With Their Heads from Crimson Viper. Both women have absorbed tremendous punishment, and the Queen of Hearts has finally managed to bring her partner back into the contest."
Brick Brody: "They're running on instinct now, Julian. Malveil hits a DDT, Viper gets up and nearly takes her head off. Neither woman has enough left to keep attacking. That's what twenty-seven minutes of this kind of fighting does to you."
Julian Ward: "Three minutes remain. Dark Duchess returns knowing that the Queens have very little time left to secure a victory."
Minute 28
Dark Duchess advances toward Prioress Malveil, attempting to catch her before she can recover.
But Malveil rises suddenly.
She steps forward.
Superkick!
The strike catches Dark Duchess flush beneath the chin!
The Queen of Spades staggers backward, nearly collapsing against the ropes.
Malveil attempts to close the distance, but her own exhaustion prevents an immediate follow-up.
Dark Duchess clutches the top rope to remain upright.
Crimson Viper reaches desperately from the apron.
Dark Duchess turns toward her corner.
Tag!
Crimson Viper returns once again.
Malveil stands near the centre, breathing heavily.
Across from her, the Queen of Hearts rises slowly.
Both women understand how little time remains.
Julian Ward: "Another superkick from Prioress Malveil, and Dark Duchess has been forced to make an immediate tag. Crimson Viper returns with less than two minutes remaining in the scheduled contest."
Brick Brody: "Neither team can afford to waste another second. Duchess got caught clean with that kick and had to get out. Now it's back to Viper and Malveil, two women who've already beaten each other half to death."
Julian Ward: "We have entered the final moments of the time limit. Unless one team can secure a decisive fall or submission, this contest may finish without a winner."
Minute 29
Prioress Malveil advances toward Crimson Viper.
She catches the Queen of Hearts with a sharp kick to the midsection.
Crimson Viper doubles forward.
Malveil immediately hooks the head.
Penance DDT!
The Queen of Hearts crashes into the canvas!
The audience rises.
Malveil attempts to drag her opponent into position for another attack.
But Crimson Viper refuses to remain down.
She struggles upright, catches Malveil around the waist and lifts.
Belly-to-Back Suplex!
Malveil is driven backward onto the canvas.
Both women remain down.
Prince John pounds the apron, shouting for Malveil to rise.
Dark Hatter gestures urgently toward Crimson Viper.
"Honest" Abe checks both competitors.
The referee glances toward the timekeeper.
Only seconds remain.
Julian Ward: "Penance DDT from Malveil, answered by another belly-to-back suplex from Crimson Viper! Both women are down, and we are approaching the thirty-minute limit."
Brick Brody: "Somebody has to get up! You've got two teams who've been beating each other for nearly half an hour, and neither one can finish the other. Forget the managers yelling at ringside. The wrestlers have to find one last move!"
Julian Ward: "The referee is watching the clock. The competitors must act immediately if they intend to secure a decision."
Minute 30
The entire Coliseum is on its feet.
Prioress Malveil slowly rises near the centre of the ring.
Across from her, Crimson Viper forces herself upright using the ropes.
Both women stagger toward one another.
Malveil strikes first.
She catches the Queen of Hearts with a hard forearm and immediately secures the front facelock.
Faithbreaker Suplex!
Crimson Viper is lifted vertically before crashing onto the canvas!
The crowd erupts.
Malveil struggles to rise.
She reaches toward her opponent, desperate to finish the contest.
But Crimson Viper somehow pushes herself upright.
She catches Malveil as the Black Chapel representative approaches.
Belly-to-Back Suplex!
Malveil crashes backward onto the mat!
Both competitors collapse.
Crimson Viper rolls toward her opponent.
Malveil attempts to turn onto her stomach.
Neither can immediately secure a cover.
The referee looks toward the timekeeper.
The final seconds disappear.
THIRTY MINUTES!
THE BELL RINGS!
Crimson Viper lifts her head in confusion.
Prioress Malveil remains on one knee, struggling to understand why the referee has stopped the contest.
"Honest" Abe moves between them.
He signals toward the timekeeper's table.
The thirty-minute time limit has expired!
THE MATCH IS A DRAW!
The audience responds with a mixture of applause, frustration and astonishment.
Prince John immediately climbs onto the apron.
Prince John: "A DRAW? Absolutely not! My representatives were clearly the superior team!"
Across the ring, Dark Hatter enters and begins protesting just as loudly on behalf of the Queens of Punishment.
"Honest" Abe refuses to reconsider the ruling.
He points toward the timekeeper once more.
The decision stands.
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen... this contest has reached its THIRTY-MINUTE TIME LIMIT!"
The crowd applauds the effort of both teams.
Louie Linville: "Therefore, the official result of this match... is a THIRTY-MINUTE TIME-LIMIT DRAW!"
Prioress Malveil sits near the ropes, exhausted.
Lady Isolde Blackthorne enters and helps her partner to her feet.
Crimson Viper rises slowly in the opposite corner, supported by Dark Duchess.
For several seconds, the four women regard one another across the ring.
There is no celebration.
No handshake.
No acknowledgment of friendship.
Only the recognition that neither team was able to defeat the other.
Prince John continues protesting, insisting that the result should not diminish the Black Chapel's promised championship opportunity.
Dark Hatter responds with a mocking gesture toward the prince before directing his own representatives toward the ropes.
The two teams leave by opposite sides of the ring.
Julian Ward: "An extraordinary opening contest. Thirty minutes of punishing competition between two highly accomplished teams, and neither side has been able to secure the decisive result. We witnessed sustained double-team offense, repeated submission attempts, and two potentially decisive pinfalls interrupted by Lady Isolde Blackthorne. Yet when the final bell sounded, the Black Chapel and the Queens of Punishment remained deadlocked."
Brick Brody: "And I'll tell you something, Julian. Both teams had chances to win. Crimson Viper nearly finished Malveil twice, and Isolde had to save her both times. But Malveil kept fighting, kept landing those DDTs and suplexes, and kept trying to make somebody submit. Nobody quit. Nobody stayed down. That's thirty minutes of punishment with nothing settled."
Julian Ward: "For the Black Chapel, this result creates an interesting question. Earlier tonight, King Arthur acknowledged their request for a North Star Tag Team Championship opportunity after the Queens of Despair receive their chance against the Fairest Hunters. But a thirty-minute draw leaves them without the victory they undoubtedly hoped would strengthen their case. And for the Queens of Punishment, their ability to match a team seeking championship contention may warrant further consideration. Neither side has established superiority, and this rivalry may be far from concluded."
THE BLACK CHAPEL AND THE QUEENS OF PUNISHMENT WRESTLED TO A 30-MINUTE TIME-LIMIT DRAW.
The broadcast shows one final image of the two teams retreating along opposite sides of the Coliseum.
Prince John continues speaking angrily to his representatives.
On the opposite side, Dark Hatter pauses and looks back toward the ring.
His expression suggests that he considers the contest unfinished.
The camera returns to the commentary desk.
Julian Ward: "A demanding opening contest, and an unresolved result. But ladies and gentlemen, the stakes are about to become considerably more personal."
Brick Brody: "That's right, Julian. We've had thirty minutes of punishment. Now we're getting something else entirely. The king himself is coming to fight!"
The arena screens darken.
The royal crest of Camelot appears.
It is suddenly pierced by an arrow.
The image fractures.
MATCH 2 – SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
KING ARTHUR, SIR LANCELOT & SIR AGRAVAINE
VS.
ROBIN HOOD & TWO PARTNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED
Julian Ward: "The rebellion that began in the throne room earlier tonight now moves into the ring. King Arthur has demanded Robin Hood face him, and Mythic Commissioner Elias Coldmere has granted that request. A six-man tag team contest that may determine the direction of Camelot's growing conflict."
Brick Brody: "And after what happened backstage, I don't expect the king to be in a forgiving mood. Robin Hood declared war. Now he gets to find out what happens when the king answers."
The screen fades to black.

The broadcast returns backstage to the interview area inside Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum.
The distant roar of the audience can still be heard echoing through the stone corridors. Security personnel continue moving throughout the building following the extraordinary events that opened tonight's broadcast.
Standing before the Dark Fable backdrop is Hana Nakamura, microphone in hand.
But tonight, she is not alone.
Beside her stands the man whose dramatic return has shaken the very foundations of Camelot.
Robin Hood.
The outlaw has abandoned the elderly merchant's cloak he wore during his confrontation with King Arthur. He is dressed in his familiar Sherwood attire, although the effects of his recent imprisonment remain visible. There are marks upon his face, and his movements occasionally betray the pain of injuries that have not fully healed.
Nevertheless, his expression is confident.
Standing immediately behind him is the imposing Blood-Moon Warden, silent and watchful beneath his ominous mask.
To one side are the three familiar members of the Merry Band.
Allan A Dale stands with his arms folded, his usual easygoing expression tempered by the seriousness of the occasion.
Friar Tuck remains composed, though his eyes reveal the determination that has sustained the Merry Band throughout its struggle against the Shadow Court.
And towering over the gathering is Little John, his immense arms crossed across his chest.
The five men present a united front.
Hana Nakamura: "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm backstage with Robin Hood, the Blood-Moon Warden, and members of the Merry Band following what can only be described as one of the most extraordinary confrontations we've witnessed on Dark Fable."
She turns toward Robin.
Hana Nakamura: "Robin, just over a week ago, you were a prisoner beneath Camelot. Last Friday, King Arthur revealed that you had escaped, accused you of stealing Excalibur, and placed a quarter-million-dollar bounty on your return."
She pauses.
Hana Nakamura: "And tonight, rather than remain hidden, you walked directly into his throne room and declared that a rebellion had begun. Why? Why take such an enormous risk?"
Robin Hood considers the question for a moment.
Then he smiles faintly.
Robin Hood: "Because hiding was precisely what Arthur expected me to do."
He looks directly toward the camera.
Robin Hood: "He expected me to run back to Sherwood, disappear among the trees, and spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder while he sent his knights searching every road and village."
A pause.
Robin Hood: "He expected fear."
The smile disappears.
Robin Hood: "And that's the problem with the man sitting on that throne. He has become so accustomed to people fearing his authority that he's forgotten what happens when someone simply refuses to be afraid."
Hana Nakamura: "But this is different from the conflicts you've had with the king before. You used the word rebellion. That's not a small declaration."
Robin Hood: "No, Hana. It isn't."
He glances toward his companions before continuing.
Robin Hood: "And I didn't use it lightly."
Robin Hood: "There was a time when Arthur stood for something. Camelot was supposed to represent justice. A kingdom where the powerful were expected to protect the weak. Where a man's worth wasn't measured by the gold in his purse or the title attached to his name."
His expression hardens.
Robin Hood: "Now look at it."
Robin Hood: "A king who demands obedience instead of earning loyalty. Knights who enforce his will without questioning whether that will is just. And a Shadow Court that has turned intimidation, punishment, and political favors into the ordinary business of the realm."
He shakes his head.
Robin Hood: "That's not the Camelot people were promised."
Hana Nakamura: "And you believe the answer is open resistance?"
Robin Hood: "I believe people have to stand up."
His answer is immediate.
Robin Hood: "Not just me. Not just the Merry Band. Everyone who has watched this kingdom change and convinced themselves that keeping their heads down is the safest thing to do."
He gestures toward the camera.
Robin Hood: "I'm talking about the people of Sherwood. The villages beyond Nottingham. The men and women who work the fields, maintain the roads, fill the markets, and keep Camelot alive while its rulers sit above them deciding who deserves favor and who deserves punishment."
Robin Hood: "I'm talking about the competitors who've been threatened, humiliated, or told to kneel simply because they dared to disagree with the king."
He pauses.
Robin Hood: "And I'm talking about the knights who still remember that their oaths were supposed to mean something."
Hana glances toward Friar Tuck.
Hana Nakamura: "Friar Tuck, you've stood beside Robin throughout this ordeal. Do you believe Camelot has reached the point where rebellion is necessary?"
Friar Tuck steps forward.
Friar Tuck: "Hana, there is a difference between respecting authority and surrendering one's conscience to it."
He speaks calmly, but with unmistakable conviction.
Friar Tuck: "A king may command a man's actions. He may control his lands, impose his laws, and demand that his subjects respect the institutions of his kingdom."
A pause.
Friar Tuck: "But no king can command a man to believe that injustice is righteousness simply because it comes from a throne."
Friar Tuck: "We have watched Arthur turn against those who once stood beside him. We have watched men punished for refusing to kneel. We have watched the machinery of Camelot turned against anyone who questions the Shadow Court."
He looks toward Robin.
Friar Tuck: "There comes a time when remaining silent is no longer patience. It becomes permission."
Little John nods firmly.
Little John: "And we've given him enough permission."
Hana Nakamura: "Little John, you were part of the group that stormed the throne room earlier tonight. You attacked members of the king's own court, including the Virtuous Blades. Aren't you concerned about what happens when the Shadow Court retaliates?"
Little John steps forward.
Little John: "Let them."
His answer is blunt.
Little John: "We've been fighting the king's men for weeks. They locked Robin away. They threatened the rest of us. They tried to make an example out of anyone who wouldn't fall in line."
He folds his arms again.
Little John: "And we're still here."
Little John: "If Arthur thinks another beating is going to frighten us into submission, he's welcome to try."
Allan A Dale steps closer, offering a more measured response.
Allan A Dale: "And let's not forget something, Hana. For all the proclamations, all the threats, and all those grand royal speeches, the king's men can be beaten."
Allan A Dale: "We've proved that inside the ring. We've proved it outside the ring. And tonight we proved it in the very chamber where Arthur expects everyone to bow."
He glances toward Little John.
Allan A Dale: "Not that I recommend breaking royal furniture as a regular pastime."
Little John gives a brief, restrained smile.
But Allan's expression quickly becomes serious again.
Allan A Dale: "The point is, the Shadow Court wants people to believe resistance is hopeless. Every time somebody stands against them and survives, that belief gets a little harder to maintain."
Hana Nakamura: "And what about the Blood-Moon Warden? You've become an increasingly important figure in the resistance to the Shadow Court. You intervened when its members attacked Mordred, and you yourself suffered at their hands. Tonight, you've openly aligned yourself with Robin Hood."
She turns toward the imposing masked warrior.
Hana Nakamura: "Why join this rebellion?"
The Blood-Moon Warden remains silent for several seconds.
Then he slowly raises his head.
Blood-Moon Warden: "Because I have seen what happens when power is allowed to answer only to itself."
His voice is low and deliberate.
Blood-Moon Warden: "The Shadow Court believes its strength gives it the right to decide who may stand and who must fall."
He looks toward the camera.
Blood-Moon Warden: "But strength does not make a man righteous."
A pause.
Blood-Moon Warden: "And a crown does not make him untouchable."
The masked warrior folds his arms.
Blood-Moon Warden: "I stand with Robin Hood because there are things worth defending that no king has the authority to take away."
Hana turns back toward Robin.
Hana Nakamura: "Robin, your companions have made their positions very clear. But I have to ask about the danger you're inviting. King Arthur has already imprisoned you once. He has accused you of stealing Excalibur. And that $250,000 bounty is still hanging over your head."
She pauses.
Hana Nakamura: "Aren't you concerned that declaring a rebellion will encourage even more people to come after you?"
Robin Hood nods slowly.
Robin Hood: "Of course I'm concerned."
His answer catches Hana slightly off guard.
Robin Hood: "I'm not going to stand here and pretend there isn't a cost to what we're doing. I know exactly what Arthur is capable of. I've seen the inside of his dungeon. I've felt the consequences of refusing his orders."
He briefly glances toward the marks upon his wrists.
Robin Hood: "And I know the people who stand beside me may suffer because of the choices we're making."
He looks toward Friar Tuck, Little John, Allan A Dale, and the Blood-Moon Warden.
Robin Hood: "But every man standing here understands that risk. No one has been forced to join me."
He turns back toward Hana.
Robin Hood: "And I'm not asking every farmer, merchant, or villager to pick up a sword and march against Camelot."
Robin Hood: "I'm asking them to remember that they have a voice. That loyalty is supposed to be earned. That refusing an unjust command does not make someone a traitor."
His expression becomes resolute.
Robin Hood: "Because if everyone continues bowing simply because they're afraid of what happens when they stand, then Arthur has already won."
A moment of silence follows.
Hana Nakamura: "There's also the question of Excalibur. The king continues to accuse you of taking the sword. Is there anything you want to say about that allegation?"
Robin Hood studies her for a moment.
Robin Hood: "Arthur has already decided I'm guilty."
He shakes his head.
Robin Hood: "He decided that before anyone produced a witness. Before anyone produced the sword. Before anyone could explain how a weapon supposedly protected by the ancient magic of Camelot disappeared while the king was away."
His expression hardens.
Robin Hood: "And now he wants everyone else to accept his conclusion simply because he wears a crown."
Hana Nakamura: "But can you tell us what happened to the sword?"
Robin Hood: "I can tell you that finding the truth is rather more important than finding someone convenient to blame."
He pauses.
Robin Hood: "And if Arthur truly wants the truth about Excalibur, perhaps he should begin asking questions instead of issuing threats."
Hana considers the response before turning to the most immediate issue.
THE SIX-MAN CHALLENGE
Hana Nakamura: "All right, Robin. Let's talk about what happens next."
She looks toward the assembled members of the rebellion.
Hana Nakamura: "Earlier tonight, King Arthur demanded that you face him in a six-man tag team match. Mythic Commissioner Elias Coldmere made the match official."
Hana Nakamura: "It will be King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, and Sir Agravaine against you and two partners of your choosing."
She gestures toward the men standing behind him.
Hana Nakamura: "Looking at the people standing here, I imagine you have several options."
Robin Hood smiles.
Robin Hood: "I'd say that's a fair assessment."
Hana Nakamura: "So who will it be?"
Robin Hood looks over his shoulder.
Allan A Dale raises an eyebrow.
Friar Tuck folds his hands calmly.
Little John offers a broad, confident grin.
The Blood-Moon Warden remains motionless.
Robin Hood turns back toward Hana.
Robin Hood: "Well, now. That would rather spoil the surprise, wouldn't it?"
Hana Nakamura: "You aren't going to tell us?"
Robin Hood: "Not yet."
Hana Nakamura: "But the match is next. Surely you have to make a decision."
Robin Hood: "Oh, the decision has been made."
His smile widens slightly.
Robin Hood: "I simply see no reason to make Arthur's preparations any easier."
Hana Nakamura: "So you know who your partners will be?"
Robin Hood: "I do."
Hana Nakamura: "And they're ready?"
Robin Hood: "Very."
Hana Nakamura: "Can you at least give us a hint?"
Robin Hood considers the question theatrically for a moment.
Then his expression becomes serious.
Robin Hood: "All right. I'll give you this."
He looks directly into the camera.
Robin Hood: "Arthur believes that if he can defeat me, he can defeat this rebellion."
He shakes his head.
Robin Hood: "He's wrong."
Robin Hood: "He could put me back in that dungeon tomorrow. He could double his bounty. He could send every knight in Camelot into Sherwood."
A pause.
Robin Hood: "But he cannot imprison an idea. And he cannot frighten every person who has finally decided that enough is enough."
He glances toward his companions.
Robin Hood: "Tonight, he'll discover that standing against the Shadow Court is no longer something a handful of outlaws are prepared to do."
He returns his attention to the camera.
Robin Hood: "And as for the two men standing beside me..."
A faint smile returns.
Robin Hood: "Well, His Majesty will find out soon enough."
Hana Nakamura: "One last question, Robin. What happens if you win tonight?"
The smile disappears.
Robin Hood: "Then the king learns something he should have understood long ago."
He pauses.
Robin Hood: "That wearing the crown doesn't make him stronger than the people who refuse to kneel."
Another pause.
Robin Hood: "And if we lose?"
He looks directly into the lens.
Robin Hood: "The rebellion continues."
Hana lowers her microphone slightly, visibly affected by the conviction in his voice.
Hana Nakamura: "Well, ladies and gentlemen, you've heard it directly from Robin Hood. The rebellion has begun, but the identities of his two partners remain a mystery."
Hana Nakamura: "And with the six-man tag team contest scheduled next, we won't have to wait much longer to discover who will stand beside him against King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, and Sir Agravaine."
She turns toward Robin one final time.
Hana Nakamura: "Thank you, Robin. And good luck tonight."
Robin Hood: "Thank you, Hana."
He takes a step away, then stops.
Robin Hood: "And one more thing."
Hana raises her microphone again.
Robin Hood: "If Arthur is watching..."
He looks directly into the camera.
Robin Hood: "You wanted me brought before you, Your Majesty."
A pause.
Robin Hood: "You should have been more careful what you wished for."
Robin Hood turns and walks down the corridor.
Allan A Dale follows, exchanging a brief look with Friar Tuck.
Little John places one enormous hand upon Robin's shoulder as the group approaches the next stone archway.
The Blood-Moon Warden remains behind for a moment.
He looks back toward the camera.
Blood-Moon Warden: "A throne may stand for a thousand years."
His voice is quiet.
Blood-Moon Warden: "But even stone can fracture."
He turns and follows the others into the darkness.
Hana Nakamura watches them disappear before addressing the audience one final time.
Hana Nakamura: "A warning to the king, a declaration to the realm, and two mystery partners about to be revealed. Back to ringside."
The camera holds on the empty corridor.
Beyond the stone archway, the distant Coliseum crowd begins chanting again.
"ROBIN HOOD!"
"ROBIN HOOD!"
"ROBIN HOOD!"
The picture slowly fades.
MATCH 2 – SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
KING ARTHUR, SIR LANCELOT & SIR AGRAVAINE
VS.
ROBIN HOOD & TWO MYSTERY PARTNERS
NEXT.

Referee: "Honest" Abe
The broadcast returns to Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum.
Thirty minutes of punishing competition between the Black Chapel and the Queens of Punishment have left the audience energized, but the atmosphere changes as the enormous arena screens suddenly turn black.
A solitary golden crown appears.
Beneath it, the royal seal of Camelot slowly materializes.
Then the sound of ceremonial trumpets fills the building.
The crowd begins booing immediately.
Golden light illuminates the entrance arch. Massive royal banners descend across the screens, displaying the insignia of the Shadow Court.
KING ARTHUR emerges beneath the stone archway.
The reigning Mythic Crown Champion wears his royal cloak over his wrestling attire, the championship secured around his waist. His expression is stern, his jaw set with unmistakable anger.
There is no ceremonial wave.
No acknowledgment of the spectators.
Only the unmistakable determination of a king who believes his authority has been challenged before the entire realm.
To his right walks Sir Lancelot, the legendary Knight of Camelot, his expression composed but unusually severe.
To his left stands Sir Agravaine, who carries himself with open hostility, glaring toward the ring as though eager to begin the confrontation.
Behind them walks Merlin, his ancient staff in hand, his expression troubled by the events that have brought the kingdom to this moment.
The four men begin their procession toward the ring.
Julian Ward: "Ladies and gentlemen, we now arrive at a contest that was not scheduled when tonight's broadcast began. Earlier this evening, Robin Hood infiltrated the royal throne room, openly declared rebellion against King Arthur, and escaped with the assistance of his companions. The king demanded an immediate confrontation, and Mythic Commissioner Elias Coldmere sanctioned this six-man tag team match."
Brick Brody: "And look at the king, Julian! That's not a man coming to defend his championship or wrestle a sporting contest. That's a man whose prisoner escaped, whose sword disappeared, and whose throne room was invaded by the same outlaw he's spent weeks trying to destroy!"
Julian Ward: "For Arthur, this has become an intensely personal matter. His authority, his reputation, and the legitimacy of his increasingly uncompromising rule have all been challenged. Tonight, he intends to answer that challenge in the ring."
Brick Brody: "And he's brought two serious fighters with him. Sir Agravaine doesn't need an invitation to hurt somebody, and Sir Lancelot is one of the finest knights Camelot has ever produced. If Robin Hood thinks he's walking into another easy escape, he's in for a nasty surprise."
The royal party reaches ringside.
King Arthur climbs the steps first.
He removes the Mythic Crown Championship and raises it toward the crowd, provoking another enormous chorus of boos.
Sir Agravaine steps through the ropes and immediately takes position beside the king.
Sir Lancelot enters last.
He pauses briefly, looking toward the championship in Arthur's hands before turning toward the entrance.
Merlin remains at ringside.
The royal music fades.
For several seconds, the Coliseum is filled only with boos and scattered chants.
Then a familiar sound echoes throughout the building.
A bowstring being drawn.
The audience rises.
An arrow flies across the enormous screens.
It strikes the royal crown.
The image fractures.
Green and gold light spreads across the entrance arch as the familiar music of Sherwood Forest begins.
ROBIN HOOD steps into view.
The Coliseum explodes!
"ROBIN HOOD!"
"ROBIN HOOD!"
"ROBIN HOOD!"
The outlaw stands beneath the archway, dressed in his familiar green attire. The physical evidence of his recent imprisonment remains visible, but there is no uncertainty in his expression.
Beside him stands the imposing BLOOD-MOON WARDEN.
The masked warrior surveys the ring, his attention fixed upon the men who attacked him and his allies during the Shadow Court's recent displays of power.
Robin Hood looks toward the ring.
His eyes meet those of King Arthur.
The king steps toward the ropes, glaring at the outlaw.
Robin Hood offers a faint smile.
Then he and the Blood-Moon Warden begin walking toward the ring.
Julian Ward: "And here comes the man at the centre of Camelot's growing crisis. Robin Hood, who only recently escaped imprisonment beneath the royal castle, has now declared that his resistance to the Shadow Court will no longer be confined to isolated confrontations."
Brick Brody: "He's got nerve, I'll give him that. Walking into the king's throne room dressed like an old merchant was one thing. Coming down here and looking Arthur straight in the eye after that stunt is something else."
Julian Ward: "And beside him stands the Blood-Moon Warden, who has already demonstrated his willingness to confront the Shadow Court. He was among those who attempted to protect Mordred when the king's forces attacked him."
Brick Brody: "That's a powerful ally. But there's still one man missing, Julian. Robin promised us a surprise. I want to know who in Camelot has enough courage, or enough hatred for the king, to become the third member of this team."
Robin Hood and the Blood-Moon Warden stop halfway down the aisle.
Neither continues toward the ring.
Instead, they turn toward the entrance.
King Arthur looks puzzled.
Sir Agravaine steps closer to the ropes.
The lights dim once more.
A deep, resonant bell sounds.
Then the arena screens ignite with crimson fire.
The ETERNAL FLAME CHAMPIONSHIP appears.
The audience begins roaring before the next figure even emerges.
From beneath the entrance arch steps...
MORDRED!
The reigning Eternal Flame Champion stands beneath the crimson light, the championship resting prominently across his shoulder.
The Coliseum erupts!
Julian Ward: "MORDRED! The reigning Eternal Flame Champion! Robin Hood has chosen Mordred as his third partner!"
Brick Brody: "OH, THAT'S BEAUTIFUL! Look at the king's face! Of all the men Robin Hood could have brought, he picked Mordred! The very man Arthur has been trying to break for weeks!"
The camera cuts immediately to the ring.
King Arthur's expression changes from astonishment to disgust.
He takes a step toward the ropes.
King Arthur: "THIEVES AND TRAITORS!"
The king points furiously toward the entrance.
King Arthur: "EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!"
Mordred remains motionless for a moment.
Then he raises the Eternal Flame Championship.
The crowd erupts again.
Robin Hood applauds the gesture before stepping aside to allow Mordred to join him.
The three men begin walking toward the ring together.
Julian Ward: "Consider the significance of this alliance. Mordred defeated the Sheriff of Nottingham to capture the Eternal Flame Championship. He subsequently refused to kneel before King Arthur and suffered a brutal assault by the Shadow Court. Now he stands beside Robin Hood and the Blood-Moon Warden in open opposition to the throne."
Brick Brody: "And the king has every reason to be furious. Mordred isn't just another fighter. He's carrying a championship that Arthur desperately wanted back under royal control. Now he's standing beside the outlaw who just declared rebellion!"
Julian Ward: "There is also the longstanding personal history between Arthur and Mordred. Tonight's confrontation has become far more than a dispute between the king and the Merry Band."
Brick Brody: "Three men who have already paid a price for defying the throne, and all three have decided they've had enough. This could get ugly."
Robin Hood reaches ringside first.
He looks toward King Arthur before climbing the steps.
The Blood-Moon Warden follows, stepping over the ropes with his attention fixed upon Sir Agravaine.
Mordred enters last.
He removes the Eternal Flame Championship from his shoulder and raises it once more.
King Arthur advances immediately.
"Honest" Abe moves between the two men, preventing a confrontation before the introductions are completed.
King Arthur: "You disgrace the name of Camelot!"
Mordred stares back at him.
Mordred: "Then perhaps Camelot should remember what that name once stood for."
The crowd roars.
Sir Agravaine moves forward, but Robin Hood steps beside Mordred.
Robin Hood: "Patience, gentlemen. The bell hasn't rung yet."
King Arthur glares at him.
Robin Hood smiles.
Robin Hood: "Though I understand His Majesty has been having difficulty waiting for things lately."
"Honest" Abe orders both teams toward their respective corners.
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a SIX-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH scheduled for ONE FALL!"
The crowd responds with another enormous roar.
Louie Linville: "Introducing first... accompanied to the ring by the legendary wizard MERLIN... representing the royal court of Camelot... SIR AGRAVAINE!"
Sir Agravaine steps forward and raises one arm.
Louie Linville: "His partner... one of the most celebrated knights in the history of Camelot... SIR LANCELOT!"
Sir Lancelot acknowledges the introduction with a restrained nod.
Louie Linville: "And their partner... sovereign of Camelot... ruler of the realm... the reigning NPCW MYTHIC CROWN CHAMPION... KING ARTHUR!"
Arthur steps into the centre and raises the championship above his head.
The boos become deafening.
Louie Linville: "And their opponents... representing those who have declared resistance to the Shadow Court... the mysterious and formidable BLOOD-MOON WARDEN!"
The masked warrior raises one arm.
Louie Linville: "His partner... the reigning NPCW ETERNAL FLAME CHAMPION... MORDRED!"
Mordred steps forward with the championship raised proudly.
Louie Linville: "And their partner... the outlaw of Sherwood... the man who has declared rebellion against the throne of Camelot... ROBIN HOOD!"
The Coliseum erupts again.
Robin Hood raises his fist toward the audience.
King Arthur stares at him with undisguised contempt.
"Honest" Abe collects both championships for safekeeping and completes his final instructions.
Sir Agravaine steps forward for the royal team.
The Blood-Moon Warden moves toward the centre for the rebels.
Robin Hood and Mordred take their positions on the apron.
King Arthur and Sir Lancelot withdraw to their corner.
At ringside, Merlin watches the proceedings intently.
The referee checks both competitors.
The bell rings.
Minute 1
Sir Agravaine charges immediately, attempting to overwhelm the Blood-Moon Warden before the masked warrior can establish his offense.
The two collide near the centre.
Sir Agravaine catches his opponent around the head and drives him toward the ropes.
He forces the Warden's upper body across the top strand before pulling backward.
Reverse Neckbreaker on the Top Rope!
The masked warrior's neck snaps against the tension of the ropes.
But the Blood-Moon Warden refuses to remain trapped.
He twists free, pushes himself upright and launches forward.
Dropkick!
Both boots strike Sir Agravaine across the chest, sending him staggering backward.
The force of the exchange carries the Blood-Moon Warden through the ropes and onto the arena floor.
"Honest" Abe immediately begins counting.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
The Warden rises beside the apron.
FOUR!
He grabs the bottom rope.
FIVE!
The Blood-Moon Warden slides back into the ring!
Sir Agravaine immediately advances again.
Julian Ward: "An aggressive opening from Sir Agravaine, who connected with a reverse neckbreaker across the top rope. But the Blood-Moon Warden answered with a powerful dropkick before being forced to return from the outside."
Brick Brody: "And that's exactly what I expected from Agravaine. No feeling-out process. No courtesy. He came out looking to hurt somebody. But that Warden is no easy target, Julian. He kicked the knight halfway across the ring!"
Julian Ward: "Both competitors have established their intentions immediately. This contest is unlikely to resemble a conventional sporting encounter."
Minute 2
Sir Agravaine attempts to press forward again.
But the Blood-Moon Warden changes levels, catches the knight around the legs and forces him onto the canvas.
The masked warrior immediately steps through the trapped legs.
Boston Crab!
Sir Agravaine cries out as the Warden turns him onto his stomach and sits backward, applying enormous pressure through the lower back.
"Honest" Abe moves closer.
Sir Agravaine refuses to submit.
He pushes upward with both arms, attempting to relieve the pressure.
But the Blood-Moon Warden widens his stance and pulls harder.
At ringside, Merlin watches with concern.
King Arthur shouts toward his struggling knight.
Sir Agravaine finally manages to twist his hips enough to disrupt the hold and force separation.
He crawls toward the ropes while the Warden rises behind him.
Julian Ward: "Boston Crab from the Blood-Moon Warden! Sir Agravaine was unable to prevent the hold from being applied, and the pressure across his lower back was considerable."
Brick Brody: "That's a nasty way to slow down a knight. You can't charge somebody if you can't straighten your back. Agravaine wanted a brawl, and the Warden decided to make him wrestle."
Julian Ward: "The masked warrior has now established the more significant early advantage, although the royal team remains capable of changing that balance very quickly."
Minute 3
Sir Agravaine staggers toward his corner, still protecting his lower back.
As the Blood-Moon Warden approaches, King Arthur suddenly calls for his partners to attack.
The royal corner erupts into motion.
Sir Agravaine catches the Warden from behind with a Rear High Knee!
The strike drives the masked warrior forward.
Sir Lancelot enters during the confusion, catching the Warden around the arms.
Pedigree!
The Blood-Moon Warden is driven face-first into the canvas!
"Honest" Abe immediately moves toward the illegal competitors.
But King Arthur steps through the ropes before order can be restored.
He drags the masked warrior upright.
Short-Arm Clothesline!
The champion drives his opponent backward with tremendous force.
The crowd erupts in boos.
But the Blood-Moon Warden fights back.
He struggles upright, catches Sir Agravaine approaching from the side and launches another dropkick!
The blow sends the knight backward into the ropes.
Robin Hood and Mordred move toward the ring, demanding that the referee restore order.
"Honest" Abe finally forces Arthur and Lancelot back toward their corner.
Julian Ward: "A coordinated assault by all three members of the royal team! Sir Agravaine connected with the high knee, Sir Lancelot delivered the Pedigree, and King Arthur followed with a short-arm clothesline. But the Blood-Moon Warden still found enough strength to answer with another dropkick."
Brick Brody: "Now that's how you punish somebody! Three men, three heavy strikes, and not a moment wasted. Arthur isn't here to entertain anybody. He's here to break this rebellion before it gets started."
Julian Ward: "But the referee must maintain control. If these coordinated attacks continue without proper tags, this contest could deteriorate very quickly."
Minute 4
Sir Agravaine maintains pressure against the Blood-Moon Warden, forcing him toward the ropes.
The masked warrior attempts to recover from the previous assault.
But movement appears near the ringside barricade.
SEVERIN CROWNE!
The influential Shadow Court adviser has emerged from the backstage corridor.
He approaches the ring without fanfare, his immaculate black suit standing in sharp contrast to the violence unfolding inside.
Robin Hood notices him immediately.
Robin Hood: "What's he doing here?"
"Honest" Abe turns toward the rebels' corner to address the complaint.
In that moment, Severin Crowne steps close to the apron.
The Blood-Moon Warden is trapped against the ropes.
Crowne drives a sharp elbow directly into his throat!
The masked warrior staggers backward, clutching his neck.
Sir Agravaine immediately moves forward to capitalize.
Severin Crowne withdraws from the apron, straightening his cuff as though nothing unusual has occurred.
The Coliseum erupts in outrage.
Robin Hood points furiously toward him.
"Honest" Abe turns, but the damage has already been done.
Severin Crowne offers the referee a courteous nod before retreating toward the aisle.
Julian Ward: "Unbelievable! Severin Crowne has appeared at ringside and driven an elbow into the throat of the Blood-Moon Warden! The official's attention was diverted, and the Shadow Court adviser has interfered directly in this contest."
Brick Brody: "That's a man who understands opportunity, Julian. Crowne saw the opening, took his shot and got out before the referee could do anything about it. I wouldn't want to take an elbow to the throat from anybody, but especially not when I'm already getting beaten by three knights!"
Julian Ward: "And remember, Severin Crowne challenges Hansel for the Universal Championship later tonight. His involvement here may only deepen the hostility surrounding that encounter."
Minute 5
Sir Agravaine attempts to exploit the damage inflicted by Severin Crowne.
He catches the Blood-Moon Warden around the legs and forces him onto the canvas.
Modified Cloverleaf!
The knight twists both legs into position and sits backward, concentrating pressure through the lower back.
The masked warrior struggles beneath the hold.
He reaches toward the ropes but cannot immediately find them.
"Honest" Abe asks whether he wishes to submit.
The Blood-Moon Warden refuses!
He twists his shoulders and attempts to catch Sir Agravaine's arm.
Armbar!
For a moment, the Warden manages to threaten the knight's elbow, forcing Agravaine to readjust his grip.
But Sir Agravaine maintains the stronger position and reapplies pressure through the Modified Cloverleaf.
The Warden continues fighting.
Finally, he shifts enough weight to break the hold.
Sir Agravaine rises and immediately retreats toward his corner.
Tag!
King Arthur enters.
Julian Ward: "The Modified Cloverleaf was applied effectively by Sir Agravaine, but the Blood-Moon Warden refused to submit. He even threatened an armbar during the struggle before eventually escaping."
Brick Brody: "That masked man has some toughness. Agravaine had him bent backward, and he still found a way to fight for the arm. But now the king is coming in, and that's bad news when you've already taken this much punishment."
Julian Ward: "The Blood-Moon Warden has carried the entire burden of the rebellion's offense through the opening five minutes. He desperately needs an opportunity to recover."
Minute 6
King Arthur advances immediately.
The Blood-Moon Warden attempts to meet him with a raised guard.
But the king drives a hard strike into his midsection.
Arthur catches both arms.
KING'S DECREE!
The Pedigree drives the Blood-Moon Warden face-first into the canvas!
The Coliseum reacts sharply.
King Arthur rises and looks contemptuously toward the rebels' corner.
Robin Hood leans forward, shouting encouragement to his fallen partner.
But the Blood-Moon Warden forces himself upright.
As Arthur approaches again, the masked warrior springs forward.
Dropkick!
The blow catches the champion across the chest, sending him staggering backward.
The Warden lands heavily but immediately begins crawling toward his corner.
Before he can complete the tag, Arthur reaches his own corner.
Sir Lancelot extends his hand.
Tag!
The legendary knight enters.
Julian Ward: "King's Decree from Arthur! The champion connected with his devastating Pedigree, but the Blood-Moon Warden somehow recovered enough to answer with another dropkick."
Brick Brody: "That's the king's finishing move, Julian! He caught the Warden clean, and that masked lunatic still got up and kicked him in the chest. You have to respect that kind of punishment tolerance."
Julian Ward: "And now Sir Lancelot enters. The royal team has rotated its competitors effectively, while the rebels have yet to make their first legal tag."
Minute 7
Sir Lancelot approaches with calculated precision.
The Blood-Moon Warden rises near the centre of the ring.
The knight catches him with a sharp strike and immediately hooks both arms.
Pedigree!
The masked warrior crashes face-first into the canvas!
Sir Lancelot rises and moves to continue the attack.
But the Blood-Moon Warden catches his approaching leg.
He sweeps the knight onto his back.
Boston Crab!
Sir Lancelot struggles as the masked warrior twists him over and sits backward.
The audience rises, urging the Warden to maintain the hold.
Lancelot refuses to submit.
He plants his hands against the canvas and forces his way toward the ropes.
Eventually, the knight catches the bottom strand.
"Honest" Abe orders the release.
Sir Lancelot rises and returns toward his corner.
Tag!
Sir Agravaine enters again.
Julian Ward: "A Pedigree from Sir Lancelot, immediately answered by another Boston Crab from the Blood-Moon Warden. The masked warrior has now threatened submissions against both Sir Agravaine and Sir Lancelot."
Brick Brody: "And Lancelot was smart enough to get himself to the ropes. He may be one of Camelot's greatest knights, but even great knights have lower backs that can be bent the wrong way."
Julian Ward: "The royal team has made another change. Sir Agravaine returns against a competitor who has absorbed a remarkable amount of punishment."
Minute 8
Sir Agravaine catches the Blood-Moon Warden before he can move toward his corner.
He forces him against the ropes and drives a forearm into his upper back.
The knight grabs the masked warrior around the head and pulls him across the top strand.
Reverse Neckbreaker on the Top Rope!
The Warden's neck snaps against the ropes.
The impact sends him tumbling through the strands to the arena floor.
"Honest" Abe begins counting.
ONE!
TWO!
The Blood-Moon Warden pushes himself upright.
THREE!
FOUR!
He slides beneath the bottom rope!
Sir Agravaine immediately moves toward him, preventing an escape toward the rebels' corner.
Robin Hood leans over the ropes, urging his partner to reach him.
But Agravaine positions himself directly between the masked warrior and the waiting hands.
Julian Ward: "Another reverse neckbreaker across the top rope from Sir Agravaine, and once again the Blood-Moon Warden has been forced to recover outside the ring."
Brick Brody: "The royal team has figured something out. Keep the Warden away from his corner, keep hurting his neck, and make him work just to get back into the ring. That's good, old-fashioned tag team wrestling."
Julian Ward: "Robin Hood and Mordred remain on the apron, unable to intervene legally. The longer this isolation continues, the more difficult recovery becomes for their partner."
Minute 9
Sir Agravaine advances again.
The Blood-Moon Warden attempts to defend himself near the ropes.
But the knight slips behind him and drives his knee upward.
Rear High Knee!
The strike catches the masked warrior across the upper back and neck.
The Warden stumbles forward, clutching the ropes to remain upright.
Sir Agravaine follows with a hard forearm to the shoulders.
The masked warrior attempts to turn, but the knight cuts him off with another shove into the corner.
At ringside, Merlin watches the assault.
King Arthur calls toward his knight.
King Arthur: "Do not allow him to escape!"
Sir Agravaine nods and drags the Blood-Moon Warden back toward the centre.
Julian Ward: "Another rear high knee from Sir Agravaine. The royal team has concentrated a great deal of offense upon the Blood-Moon Warden's head, neck and upper back."
Brick Brody: "And that's how you break somebody down. He may be tough enough to survive a few big attacks, but every blow to the same area makes the next one worse."
Julian Ward: "The masked warrior remains isolated. His partners are becoming increasingly frustrated, but they must wait for a legal opportunity to enter."
Minute 10
The Blood-Moon Warden attempts to fight his way out of the royal corner.
He drives forward and throws a powerful forearm toward Sir Agravaine's head.
But the knight raises his guard.
He catches the incoming arm and redirects the strike.
The forearm is neutralized!
Sir Agravaine immediately twists the captured wrist and forces the masked warrior backward.
The Warden attempts another strike, but Agravaine maintains his distance and refuses to offer a clean target.
The knight eventually releases the arm and steps toward his corner.
Tag!
King Arthur returns.
The crowd begins booing again.
The champion steps through the ropes, his attention fixed entirely upon the exhausted Blood-Moon Warden.
Julian Ward: "The attempted forearm from the Blood-Moon Warden was successfully neutralized by Sir Agravaine. He has once again prevented the masked warrior from creating enough separation to reach his partners."
Brick Brody: "And look who gets the tag. Arthur is coming in against a man who's already taken ten minutes of punishment. The king knows exactly when to make his presence felt."
Julian Ward: "The tactical advantage remains with the royal team. But the Blood-Moon Warden has repeatedly demonstrated that he can produce sudden offense even while under considerable pressure."
Minute 11
King Arthur advances confidently.
He catches the Blood-Moon Warden around the head and attempts to force him downward.
But the masked warrior twists free.
He catches the champion in a front facelock.
BLOOD-MOON DROP!
The DDT drives King Arthur head-first into the canvas!
The Coliseum erupts!
Robin Hood and Mordred lean forward from their corner.
The Blood-Moon Warden rolls onto the champion and hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
TWO!
KING ARTHUR KICKS OUT!
The crowd groans.
The Blood-Moon Warden rises slowly, looking toward the referee.
King Arthur rolls onto his side, visibly shaken by the impact.
At ringside, Merlin steps closer to the apron, watching the champion recover.
Julian Ward: "BLOOD-MOON DROP! The Warden has planted King Arthur with a devastating DDT and nearly secured the victory! The champion escaped at two."
Brick Brody: "That's what I've been warning about, Julian! You can beat a man for ten minutes, but if you give him one opening, he can still put you flat on your face. Arthur came dangerously close to losing this match!"
Julian Ward: "An enormous momentum shift. The Blood-Moon Warden has finally created a genuine opportunity to change the direction of this contest."
Minute 12
King Arthur struggles upright, clearly irritated by the near fall.
The Blood-Moon Warden advances again.
But the champion catches him before he can secure another hold.
Atomic Drop!
The masked warrior jolts upright from the impact, staggering backward.
Arthur follows, attempting to capitalize.
But the Warden plants his feet and fires a powerful forearm.
Forearm Smash!
The strike catches the champion across the jaw!
Arthur staggers backward.
The Blood-Moon Warden advances with another forearm, forcing the king toward the ropes.
Robin Hood pounds the turnbuckle pad, urging his partner onward.
King Arthur manages to regain his footing and raise his guard.
Both men stand near the centre, breathing heavily.
Julian Ward: "Atomic Drop from King Arthur, answered by a tremendous forearm smash from the Blood-Moon Warden. The champion has been unable to restore complete control following that earlier DDT."
Brick Brody: "And the Warden is fighting angry now. That forearm caught Arthur clean, and the king didn't like it one bit. This isn't the punishment session he expected."
Julian Ward: "The masked warrior has now begun matching the champion physically. We may be witnessing the opening the rebels have needed."
Minute 13
King Arthur attempts to reassert control with a sudden attack.
He catches the Blood-Moon Warden with a sharp strike and forces him toward the centre.
But the masked warrior shifts beneath the grip and catches the champion's legs.
Boston Crab!
Arthur struggles as the Warden turns him onto his stomach.
Mordred sees the opening.
The Eternal Flame Champion enters during the confusion, moving immediately toward the trapped king.
As Arthur breaks the submission and pushes himself upward, Mordred catches him around the head and shoulders.
Inverted Sitdown Faceslam!
The king is driven face-first into the canvas!
The Coliseum erupts.
Sir Agravaine attempts to intervene, but "Honest" Abe moves to restore order.
Arthur manages to rise, catching the Blood-Moon Warden as the masked warrior approaches again.
Jumping Knee Drop!
The champion brings his knee down across the Warden's upper body.
Both men remain on the canvas, recovering from the rapid exchange.
Julian Ward: "A chaotic sequence involving Mordred! The Blood-Moon Warden threatened another Boston Crab, and the Eternal Flame Champion followed with an inverted sitdown faceslam. But King Arthur managed to answer with a jumping knee drop."
Brick Brody: "Now they're getting personal! Mordred saw his chance to put the king's face into the ring, and he took it. But Arthur isn't going to let that pass without an answer. That knee drop landed hard."
Julian Ward: "The emotional intensity is increasing. We are seeing the consequences of a rivalry that extends far beyond tonight's six-man contest."
Minute 14
King Arthur rises and immediately catches the Blood-Moon Warden around the waist.
Atomic Drop!
The masked warrior staggers forward.
Arthur advances, looking to continue the attack.
But the Blood-Moon Warden suddenly turns and charges.
He drives the champion backward toward the corner.
BREAK THE BARRICADE!
The corner splash crushes Arthur against the turnbuckles!
The impact shakes the ring.
King Arthur stumbles out of the corner, clutching his upper body.
The Warden advances again, forcing the champion to retreat toward the ropes.
Mordred reaches desperately for a tag.
Robin Hood does the same.
But Arthur manages to step between the masked warrior and his waiting partners.
Julian Ward: "Break the Barricade! The Blood-Moon Warden has driven King Arthur into the corner with tremendous force. That was a significant response to the champion's atomic drop."
Brick Brody: "He nearly flattened the king against those turnbuckles! That's a big man coming across the ring with everything he's got. Arthur felt every bit of that collision."
Julian Ward: "But the champion remains determined to prevent a tag. The Blood-Moon Warden has carried an extraordinary workload in this contest."
Minute 15
King Arthur catches the advancing Blood-Moon Warden with a sudden kick to the midsection.
The masked warrior doubles forward.
The champion traps both arms.
KING'S DECREE!
The Pedigree drives the Blood-Moon Warden face-first into the canvas!
Arthur immediately rolls him onto his back and hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
THE BLOOD-MOON WARDEN KICKS OUT!
The crowd erupts.
King Arthur rises abruptly, glaring toward the official.
King Arthur: "HOW?"
The champion turns back toward the masked warrior.
The Blood-Moon Warden is already struggling onto one knee.
Arthur stares in disbelief.
At ringside, Merlin watches silently.
Robin Hood pounds the turnbuckle, urging his partner to keep fighting.
Julian Ward: "A second King's Decree! But the Blood-Moon Warden escaped the cover at one! That is an extraordinary display of resilience after fifteen minutes of sustained punishment."
Brick Brody: "I don't know what this masked man is made of, Julian! He's taken two King's Decrees, multiple neckbreakers, and half the royal court beating on him. And he just kicked out at ONE!"
Julian Ward: "The champion appears genuinely frustrated. His most dangerous maneuver has failed to secure the victory, and the Blood-Moon Warden remains determined to continue."
Minute 16
King Arthur approaches the Blood-Moon Warden with renewed aggression.
The masked warrior manages to rise near the ropes.
He catches the champion around the upper body and attempts to force him backward.
Throw Out of Ring!
But Arthur recognizes the attempt.
He plants his boots and catches the top rope before the Warden can complete the movement.
The champion twists free, forcing his opponent backward.
The attempted elimination to the floor is neutralized.
Arthur steps away and looks toward his corner.
Tag!
Sir Agravaine returns.
The knight immediately advances toward the exhausted masked warrior.
Julian Ward: "The Blood-Moon Warden attempted to throw King Arthur from the ring, but the champion defended effectively and prevented the maneuver."
Brick Brody: "And that was smart. Arthur wasn't about to let himself get dumped over the ropes after everything that's happened. He blocked it, got free, and made the tag. No reason to keep taking unnecessary punishment."
Julian Ward: "The royal team continues rotating its competitors. Sir Agravaine now faces a Blood-Moon Warden who has still not managed to make a legal tag."
Minute 17
Sir Agravaine enters aggressively.
He slips behind the Blood-Moon Warden and drives his knee upward.
Rear High Knee!
The masked warrior staggers forward.
But he immediately turns, catching the knight's legs as Agravaine attempts another attack.
Boston Crab!
The Blood-Moon Warden turns the knight onto his stomach and sits backward.
Sir Agravaine struggles, reaching toward the ropes.
The Warden maintains the pressure for several seconds before the knight finally twists enough to break the hold.
Blood-Moon Warden rises slowly.
He looks toward his corner.
Robin Hood reaches forward.
The masked warrior lunges.
TAG!
ROBIN HOOD ENTERS!
The Coliseum explodes!
Julian Ward: "At last! The Blood-Moon Warden has escaped another exchange with Sir Agravaine and made the tag! Robin Hood enters this contest for the first time!"
Brick Brody: "Seventeen minutes, Julian! That masked man fought almost this entire match by himself. Now Robin is coming in fresh, and Agravaine is the one who's going to have to deal with him!"
Julian Ward: "An enormous moment for the rebels. Their leader now has the opportunity to confront one of the very knights responsible for enforcing the king's authority."
Minute 18
Robin Hood charges into the ring.
Sir Agravaine rises to meet him.
Both men stop near the centre, briefly measuring one another.
Agravaine advances first, attempting to catch the outlaw around the upper body.
Robin avoids the initial grip, but the knight follows and manages to lift him across his shoulders.
Over-the-Shoulder Back-to-Belly Piledriver!
Robin Hood is driven downward with tremendous force!
The crowd reacts sharply.
Sir Agravaine rises and reaches for the outlaw again.
But Robin suddenly springs upward.
ARROW'D END!
The Stunner catches Sir Agravaine flush beneath the chin!
The knight crashes backward onto the canvas.
Robin Hood immediately covers.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
SIR AGRAVAINE KICKS OUT!
Robin rolls backward and rises, breathing heavily.
The knight struggles onto one knee, visibly shaken by the sudden counterattack.
Julian Ward: "A devastating piledriver from Sir Agravaine, but Robin Hood answered immediately with Arrow'd End! The Stunner nearly secured the victory, although Agravaine managed to escape the cover at one."
Brick Brody: "That's the difference a fresh man makes. Robin took a nasty piledriver, but he still had enough left to catch Agravaine with that Stunner. The knight didn't see it coming."
Julian Ward: "The outlaw has immediately changed the momentum of this contest. His presence has also intensified the hostility between the opposing corners."
Minute 19
Sir Agravaine rises slowly, still recovering from Arrow'd End.
Robin Hood approaches before the knight can regain his balance.
He catches Agravaine with a sharp forearm and forces him toward the centre.
The knight attempts to raise his guard.
But Robin catches his head.
ARROW'D END!
A second Stunner!
Sir Agravaine is driven backward, collapsing onto the canvas.
The Coliseum erupts.
Robin Hood remains standing over him for a moment.
He glances toward King Arthur.
The champion glares back from the apron.
Robin gives him a deliberate nod before turning toward his own corner.
Mordred extends his hand.
Tag!
THE ETERNAL FLAME CHAMPION ENTERS!
The crowd rises again.
Julian Ward: "Another Arrow'd End from Robin Hood! Sir Agravaine has now absorbed two consecutive Stunners, and the outlaw has made the tag to Mordred."
Brick Brody: "And now the knight's trouble gets worse! Robin knocked him flat twice, and instead of wasting time arguing with the king, he brings in the Eternal Flame Champion. That's teamwork."
Julian Ward: "And remember, Mordred enters this contest with his own grievances against the Shadow Court. His rivalry with Sir Agravaine has already included a championship confrontation."
Minute 20
Mordred enters aggressively.
Sir Agravaine struggles to rise and immediately attempts to intercept the champion.
He catches Mordred around the waist.
Release German Suplex!
The Eternal Flame Champion is thrown backward, landing heavily across his shoulders.
Sir Agravaine rises, attempting to capitalize.
But Mordred forces himself upright.
He lowers his shoulders and charges.
SPEAR!
The impact drives Sir Agravaine into the canvas!
The Coliseum erupts.
Mordred immediately hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe slides into position.
ONE!
SIR AGRAVAINE KICKS OUT!
The Eternal Flame Champion rises to one knee.
Sir Agravaine rolls toward the ropes, clutching his midsection.
Mordred watches him with cold determination.
Julian Ward: "A release German suplex from Sir Agravaine, answered by a tremendous Spear from Mordred! The Eternal Flame Champion nearly secured the pinfall in his first major exchange."
Brick Brody: "That's one way to settle an old score! Agravaine threw him across the ring, and Mordred got up and drove straight through him. You don't need a long speech when you've got a Spear like that."
Julian Ward: "The rebels have now established sustained momentum through consecutive tags. Sir Agravaine is struggling to recover from the combined offense of Robin Hood and Mordred."
Minute 21
Sir Agravaine attempts to recover near the ropes.
Mordred advances again, catching the knight around the upper body.
He lifts.
Sitout Powerbomb!
Sir Agravaine crashes into the canvas!
The crowd reacts.
Mordred rises, looking to continue the attack.
But Agravaine scrambles toward the ropes.
As the Eternal Flame Champion closes in, the knight catches him around the head.
Reverse Neckbreaker on the Top Rope!
Mordred is snapped across the rope and tumbles to the arena floor!
"Honest" Abe begins counting.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Mordred struggles upright near the barricade.
FOUR!
FIVE!
He begins moving toward the apron.
SIX!
Sir Agravaine watches from the ring, urging the referee to continue.
SEVEN!
Mordred slides beneath the bottom rope!
He beats the count.
Sir Agravaine advances immediately.
Julian Ward: "A tremendous sitout powerbomb from Mordred, but Sir Agravaine answered with another reverse neckbreaker across the top rope. The Eternal Flame Champion was forced to return from the floor at seven."
Brick Brody: "That's veteran survival from Agravaine. He was getting beaten from one side of the ring to the other, and he found the ropes at exactly the right moment. He nearly got Mordred counted out."
Julian Ward: "The momentum has shifted once again. Both men are visibly fatigued, but the intensity of their personal rivalry continues to drive the exchanges."
Minute 22
Sir Agravaine catches Mordred as the champion rises near the ropes.
He hooks the head and turns sharply.
Rolling Cutter!
Mordred is driven face-first into the canvas.
The knight rises, looking toward his corner.
But before he can retreat, Mordred forces himself upright.
He charges.
SPEAR!
The second Spear of the match drives Sir Agravaine backward with tremendous force!
Both men collapse onto the canvas.
The audience rises, urging the Eternal Flame Champion onward.
Mordred pushes himself onto one knee.
Sir Agravaine rolls toward the ropes, struggling for breath.
King Arthur pounds the turnbuckle pad in frustration.
Julian Ward: "Rolling Cutter from Sir Agravaine, answered by another Spear from Mordred! Neither man has been able to sustain a clear advantage."
Brick Brody: "And that second Spear was vicious! Agravaine put him down with the cutter, but Mordred got right back up and drove through him. These two haven't forgotten anything that's happened between them."
Julian Ward: "Both competitors have absorbed considerable punishment. At this stage, a single mistake could determine the result."
Minute 23
Sir Agravaine rises near the centre.
Mordred advances, attempting another attack.
But the knight catches him around the waist.
Release German Suplex!
The Eternal Flame Champion is thrown backward onto his shoulders.
Sir Agravaine rises, believing he has regained control.
But Mordred forces himself upright.
He springs forward.
Dropkick!
Both boots strike Sir Agravaine across the chest.
The knight staggers backward into the ropes.
Mordred remains down momentarily, recovering from the suplex.
Sir Agravaine uses the opportunity to reach his corner.
Sir Lancelot extends his hand.
Tag!
The legendary knight enters once more.
Julian Ward: "A release German suplex from Sir Agravaine, answered by a dropkick from Mordred. And now Sir Lancelot returns to the contest."
Brick Brody: "That's a smart tag. Agravaine has taken a beating from Robin and Mordred. Get somebody fresh in there before it gets any worse."
Julian Ward: "Sir Lancelot has had relatively limited involvement since the opening portion of this match. He now faces a fatigued Eternal Flame Champion."
Minute 24
Sir Lancelot advances toward Mordred.
The Eternal Flame Champion rises near the centre.
Lancelot catches him with a sharp strike before moving toward the ropes.
He accelerates.
Running Shooting Star Press!
But Mordred recognizes the attack.
He rolls away!
Sir Lancelot crashes onto the canvas without connecting!
The crowd reacts sharply.
Mordred rises and immediately retreats toward his corner.
Blood-Moon Warden reaches over the ropes.
Tag!
The masked warrior returns to the match.
Sir Lancelot rises slowly, holding his midsection after the missed aerial attack.
Julian Ward: "The Running Shooting Star Press was avoided by Mordred, who immediately made the tag to the Blood-Moon Warden. A costly missed opportunity for Sir Lancelot."
Brick Brody: "That's the danger of throwing yourself into the air against a man who's still got enough awareness to move. Lancelot committed, Mordred got out of the way, and the knight landed hard."
Julian Ward: "The Blood-Moon Warden returns after having endured seventeen consecutive minutes of competition earlier in this contest. We will now see how much he has recovered."
Minute 25
Sir Lancelot rises and immediately approaches the Blood-Moon Warden.
The masked warrior attempts to establish a defensive position.
But Lancelot catches him with a sharp forearm and forces him toward the canvas.
The knight moves toward the ropes.
He rebounds with tremendous speed.
Running Shooting Star Press!
This time, the maneuver connects!
Sir Lancelot crashes across the Blood-Moon Warden's upper body.
The masked warrior rolls onto his side, clutching his ribs.
Lancelot rises slowly, looking toward his corner.
King Arthur extends his hand.
Tag!
The champion returns.
Julian Ward: "The Running Shooting Star Press connects this time! Sir Lancelot has corrected the mistake that cost him the previous exchange, and the Blood-Moon Warden has absorbed another significant impact."
Brick Brody: "That's experience. He missed it once, adjusted the setup, and landed the second attempt. Lancelot still knows how to wrestle, Julian. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise."
Julian Ward: "And now King Arthur returns. The champion has another opportunity to secure the victory against a competitor who has endured enormous punishment."
Minute 26
King Arthur enters and immediately catches the Blood-Moon Warden before he can rise.
He traps the masked warrior's legs, twists them into position and forces him onto the canvas.
Indian Deathlock!
The champion applies tremendous pressure through the knees and lower body.
Blood-Moon Warden struggles beneath the hold.
"Honest" Abe moves closer.
"Honest" Abe: "Do you submit?"
The Warden shakes his head.
He refuses!
King Arthur tightens the hold.
The masked warrior cries out but continues fighting.
Robin Hood and Mordred shout encouragement from the corner.
Arthur leans backward, attempting to force the submission.
But the Blood-Moon Warden refuses to surrender.
Finally, the masked warrior manages to shift his body and break the hold.
King Arthur rises, visibly frustrated.
He looks toward his corner.
Sir Agravaine extends his hand.
Tag!
The knight enters again.
Julian Ward: "Indian Deathlock from King Arthur! The champion applied tremendous pressure, but the Blood-Moon Warden refused to submit. After twenty-six minutes, this masked warrior continues to demonstrate extraordinary resilience."
Brick Brody: "I don't know what else the king can do to this man! He's hit him with King's Decree twice, he's worked the legs, and the Warden keeps fighting. But don't forget, Agravaine is coming back in, and he's got something to prove after the beating he's taken."
Julian Ward: "The royal team appears to be preparing another coordinated attack. But after so much punishment on both sides, the outcome remains uncertain."
Minute 27
Sir Agravaine enters and immediately advances toward the Blood-Moon Warden.
The masked warrior rises near the centre.
Agravaine attempts to catch him with another strike.
But the Warden moves first.
Dropkick!
Both boots crash into the knight's chest!
Sir Agravaine staggers backward, nearly collapsing against the ropes.
The Blood-Moon Warden rises, preparing another attack.
But Agravaine manages to retreat toward his corner.
He reaches desperately toward Sir Lancelot.
Sir Agravaine: "LANCELOT! TAG!"
The legendary knight stands on the apron.
For one moment, he looks directly at Sir Agravaine's outstretched hand.
Then he looks toward King Arthur.
A long second passes.
And SIR LANCELOT STEPS DOWN FROM THE APRON!
The Coliseum gasps.
Sir Agravaine stares in disbelief.
King Arthur freezes.
Julian Ward: "Wait a moment! Sir Lancelot has stepped away from the apron! Sir Agravaine was attempting to make the tag, but Lancelot has refused!"
Brick Brody: "WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING? His own partner needs him, Julian! Agravaine is reaching for a tag, and Lancelot just walked away!"
King Arthur steps toward the ropes.
King Arthur: "LANCELOT!"
Sir Lancelot remains on the arena floor.
He slowly turns toward the king.
King Arthur: "RETURN TO YOUR POSITION!"
Lancelot does not move.
The crowd begins roaring.
King Arthur: "THAT IS AN ORDER!"
The champion steps down from the apron and confronts the knight at ringside.
King Arthur: "YOU WILL OBEY YOUR KING!"
Sir Lancelot meets his gaze.
His expression remains calm.
But he does not return to the apron.
Inside the ring, Sir Agravaine turns toward the confrontation.
Sir Agravaine: "YOUR MAJESTY! WHAT IS HE DOING?"
That distraction proves fatal.
Behind him, the Blood-Moon Warden rises.
The masked warrior charges.
DROPKICK!
The second dropkick catches Sir Agravaine flush across the chest!
The knight crashes onto his back!
The Blood-Moon Warden immediately hooks the leg!
"Honest" Abe drops into position!
ONE!
King Arthur turns toward the ring!
TWO!
The champion lunges toward the apron!
THREE!
THE BELL RINGS!
THE REBELS HAVE WON!
The Coliseum EXPLODES!
Robin Hood throws both arms into the air!
Mordred charges through the ropes!
The Blood-Moon Warden releases the cover and rolls backward onto his knees.
"Honest" Abe signals that the fall is complete.
King Arthur stops at the apron.
He stares into the ring in absolute disbelief.
Sir Agravaine lies on the canvas, holding his chest after the decisive dropkick.
And at ringside...
Sir Lancelot remains motionless.
Julian Ward: "THE BLOOD-MOON WARDEN HAS PINNED SIR AGRAVAINE! The rebels have defeated the royal team! But the decisive moment came when Sir Lancelot refused the tag and stepped away from his own corner!"
Brick Brody: "I DON'T BELIEVE IT! Lancelot just abandoned his own partners! Agravaine needed the tag, Arthur went down to confront him, and the Blood-Moon Warden took advantage! That was the opening, Julian! That was the whole damn match!"
Julian Ward: "The implications of what we have just witnessed may extend far beyond this result. One of Camelot's greatest knights has openly refused a command from his king, and that decision has directly contributed to the defeat of the royal team."
THE AFTERMATH – THE KNIGHT'S CHOICE
The arena remains in absolute uproar.
Robin Hood drops beside the exhausted Blood-Moon Warden and grabs him around the shoulders.
Mordred joins them, helping the masked warrior back to his feet.
The three men raise their arms together.
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen... your winners by PINFALL... ROBIN HOOD, the BLOOD-MOON WARDEN, and the reigning ETERNAL FLAME CHAMPION... MORDRED!"
The Coliseum erupts again.
"ROBIN HOOD!"
"ROBIN HOOD!"
"ROBIN HOOD!"
But the cameras turn toward ringside.
King Arthur stands directly before Sir Lancelot.
His face is flushed with fury.
King Arthur: "YOU!"
He points toward the ring.
King Arthur: "YOU COST ME THIS MATCH!"
Sir Lancelot says nothing.
King Arthur: "I COMMANDED YOU TO RETURN TO YOUR POSITION!"
The knight slowly raises his head.
Sir Lancelot: "I heard you."
The king stares at him.
King Arthur: "Then why did you refuse?"
Sir Lancelot studies the man before him.
For several seconds, the noise of the Coliseum fills the silence between them.
Then he answers.
Sir Lancelot: "Because there comes a time when a knight must decide whether he serves the crown..."
He pauses.
Sir Lancelot: "...or the ideals that crown was supposed to represent."
The crowd erupts!
King Arthur looks stunned.
King Arthur: "TREASON!"
Sir Lancelot does not flinch.
Sir Lancelot: "Call it what you wish, Arthur."
He takes one step backward.
Sir Lancelot: "But I will not mistake obedience for honor any longer."
The king's expression twists with rage.
King Arthur: "YOU SWORE AN OATH TO ME!"
Sir Lancelot: "I swore an oath to Camelot."
A pause.
Sir Lancelot: "I believed those were the same thing."
He slowly shakes his head.
Sir Lancelot: "Tonight, I can no longer pretend they are."
King Arthur stands speechless for a moment.
Then his face hardens.
King Arthur: "You will regret this."
Sir Lancelot meets his gaze.
Sir Lancelot: "Perhaps."
He glances toward the ring.
Sir Lancelot: "But I would regret remaining silent even more."
The knight turns away from the king.
And walks toward the ring.
King Arthur: "LANCELOT!"
Sir Lancelot does not turn.
He climbs the ring steps.
Robin Hood notices him immediately.
The outlaw steps away from the celebration.
Mordred turns toward the approaching knight.
The Blood-Moon Warden stands beside them.
For one moment, the three rebels watch Sir Lancelot enter the ring.
The Coliseum grows louder.
Sir Lancelot walks directly toward Robin Hood.
The two men stand face-to-face.
The legendary knight extends his hand.
Sir Lancelot: "You said the rebellion had begun."
Robin Hood studies him.
Sir Lancelot: "Then perhaps it's time Camelot remembered what a true knight is supposed to defend."
A faint smile crosses Robin's face.
He takes the extended hand.
THE COLISEUM EXPLODES!
ROBIN HOOD AND SIR LANCELOT SHAKE HANDS!
Mordred steps forward.
For a moment, the Eternal Flame Champion regards the knight with a cautious expression.
The history between Camelot's royal family and the throne's greatest warrior is not something easily set aside.
But Mordred slowly nods.
Sir Lancelot returns the gesture.
The Blood-Moon Warden steps alongside them.
Then Robin Hood raises Sir Lancelot's arm.
THE REBELS STAND TOGETHER!
The Coliseum erupts into another deafening chant.
"CAMELOT!"
"CAMELOT!"
"CAMELOT!"
The four men stand together in the centre of the ring.
Robin Hood raises one fist.
Sir Lancelot raises his arm beside him.
Mordred lifts the Eternal Flame Championship high above his head.
The Blood-Moon Warden stands behind them, imposing and resolute.
At ringside, King Arthur watches in absolute fury.
Sir Agravaine has finally rolled out of the ring, where Merlin is checking on him.
But the king barely notices.
His attention remains fixed upon the scene inside the ring.
His greatest knight.
His rebellious opponent.
The Eternal Flame Champion who refused to kneel.
And the masked warrior whose resilience ultimately defeated his royal team.
All standing together.
King Arthur grips the Mythic Crown Championship tightly against his side.
His expression is a mixture of rage, disbelief and betrayal.
Julian Ward: "Ladies and gentlemen, we have witnessed something extraordinary. Robin Hood, the Blood-Moon Warden, and Mordred have defeated the royal team in twenty-seven minutes. But the result itself may be overshadowed by the actions of Sir Lancelot. The legendary knight refused to accept a tag from Sir Agravaine, openly defied King Arthur, and has now joined the men who declared rebellion against the throne earlier tonight."
Brick Brody: "And don't underestimate what that means, Julian! Arthur just lost more than a wrestling match. He lost one of his greatest knights! Lancelot didn't get pinned. He didn't get beaten into changing sides. He made a choice. He decided he'd rather stand beside the men the king calls traitors than continue taking orders from the man sitting on the throne. And Agravaine paid for it when the Warden knocked him flat!"
Julian Ward: "A choice that may reshape the future of Camelot. Earlier tonight, Robin Hood declared that people needed to stand against the Shadow Court rather than remain silent out of fear. Now one of the most celebrated knights in Camelot's history has answered that call. The rebellion has secured its first major victory inside the ring, and it has gained an ally whose significance extends far beyond this evening. The king's authority has suffered a profound blow, and the consequences of Sir Lancelot's decision may only be beginning."
ROBIN HOOD, BLOOD-MOON WARDEN & MORDRED DEFEAT KING ARTHUR, SIR LANCELOT & SIR AGRAVAINE BY PINFALL IN THE 27TH MINUTE AFTER BLOOD-MOON WARDEN PINS SIR AGRAVAINE FOLLOWING A DROPKICK. SIR LANCELOT REFUSES THE TAG AND JOINS THE REBELS FOLLOWING THE MATCH.
The cameras return to the ring for one final image.
Robin Hood, Mordred, the Blood-Moon Warden, and Sir Lancelot stand together beneath the lights of the Coliseum.
Four men who have now placed themselves openly against the authority of the throne.
On the arena floor, King Arthur remains motionless.
His championship rests against his shoulder.
His eyes burn with fury.
Merlin approaches him cautiously.
Merlin: "Arthur..."
The king raises one hand.
He does not wish to hear another word.
Inside the ring, Robin Hood raises Sir Lancelot's arm once more.
The crowd erupts.
And the camera returns to the king.
King Arthur turns away from the ring.
His expression is thunderous.
He begins walking toward the backstage entrance, followed by Merlin and the battered Sir Agravaine.
For the first time tonight, the royal procession carries no sense of triumph.
Only humiliation.
And the unmistakable knowledge that Camelot's rebellion has grown stronger.
The camera lingers on the celebrating rebels.
The image slowly fades.
THE REBELLION HAS BEGUN.

Referee: "Honest" Abe
The broadcast returns to Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum, where the audience remains energized by the extraordinary events of the previous contest.
The rebellion has secured its first major victory.
King Arthur has suffered a humiliating defeat.
And Sir Lancelot, one of Camelot's greatest knights, has openly abandoned the royal court to stand beside Robin Hood.
But the evening's consequences are far from over.
The arena screens illuminate with footage from the Mythic Division's recent Super House Show in Osaka, Japan.
October 14, 2026.
The reigning Universal Champion, Hansel, catches Severin Crowne in a sunset flip.
But the challenger shifts his weight.
The pinning combination is reversed.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Severin Crowne defeats the Universal Champion in a non-title encounter.
The footage freezes on Crowne's victorious expression.
Then the image changes.
Tonight.
The Universal Championship appears in the centre of the screen.
HANSEL VS. SEVERIN CROWNE
NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The camera returns to the commentary desk.
Julian Ward: "Ladies and gentlemen, what an extraordinary evening this has already become. We have witnessed a declaration of rebellion, the defeat of the royal team, and the stunning decision by Sir Lancelot to turn his back on King Arthur. But now we turn our attention to one of the most prestigious championships in professional wrestling. The NPCW Universal Championship will be defended."
Brick Brody: "And the timing couldn't be more interesting, Julian. The Shadow Court has just been humiliated. The king lost his match, one of his greatest knights walked away, and now the man who sits beside the throne gets his opportunity to bring home the biggest championship in the company. If you're Severin Crowne, there's a lot riding on this one."
Julian Ward: "Indeed. Severin Crowne earned this opportunity by defeating Hansel in Osaka, although that contest was not for the championship. Tonight, however, the title is at stake, and the champion has made it clear he does not intend to repeat the outcome of that encounter."
Brick Brody: "And that's what I love about this match. Hansel is the champion. Crowne is the man who beat him. You can talk about royal politics all you want, but when that bell rings, somebody has to prove he can win when the championship is actually on the line."
THE CHALLENGER'S ENTRANCE
The arena lights dim.
A sharp metallic chime echoes through the Coliseum.
Across the enormous screens, black parchment appears beneath the royal seal of Camelot.
The seal slowly fractures.
Its pieces rearrange into the unmistakable insignia of the Shadow Court.
A measured orchestral composition begins, accompanied by the rhythmic sound of a ceremonial gavel striking stone.
Then the name appears.
SEVERIN CROWNE.
The crowd erupts in boos.
Severin Crowne emerges beneath the entrance arch, dressed in his dark wrestling attire, his presentation immaculate and deliberately restrained.
There is no extravagant celebration.
No theatrical acknowledgment of the audience.
He simply pauses beneath the lights, surveys the Coliseum, and adjusts the cuffs of his entrance jacket.
His expression is composed.
Almost unnervingly so.
Considering what has just happened to the royal team, the absence of visible concern is remarkable.
Crowne begins walking toward the ring.
Every movement is deliberate. Every expression carefully controlled.
At ringside, he pauses to examine the Universal Championship displayed upon the arena screens.
Then he climbs the steps and enters.
He stands near the centre, looking toward the entrance through which the champion will soon appear.
Julian Ward: "There is the challenger. Severin Crowne has become one of the most influential figures surrounding King Arthur's reign. His position within the Shadow Court provides him considerable political influence, but tonight he must demonstrate that influence is matched by his ability inside the ring."
Brick Brody: "And he already has, Julian. He beat Hansel in Osaka. Maybe the champion didn't like the way it happened, but the referee counted three. That's all that matters. Crowne knows how to win, and he's clever enough to make sure his opponents underestimate him."
Julian Ward: "But tonight presents a different challenge. Hansel has had time to examine that defeat, prepare for his opponent, and consider how the challenger used his own momentum against him. Crowne cannot assume the same approach will succeed twice."
Brick Brody: "And don't overlook what the Universal Championship would mean to the Shadow Court. If Crowne wins tonight, you've got the Mythic Crown around Arthur's waist and the Universal Championship with his closest adviser. That's a tremendous amount of power."
THE CHAMPION'S ENTRANCE
Crowne's music fades.
The arena falls briefly into darkness.
Then brilliant golden light spreads across the entrance arch.
A majestic musical theme rises, carrying a sense of triumph and determination.
The Universal Championship appears upon the enormous screens.
Beneath it, a single name.
HANSEL.
The Coliseum erupts!
The reigning NPCW Universal Champion emerges beneath the golden lights, the championship secured around his waist.
Hansel pauses at the entrance, allowing the audience's reaction to wash over him.
His expression is serious.
He remembers Osaka.
He remembers the reversed sunset flip.
And he remembers the sight of Severin Crowne celebrating a victory over the Universal Champion.
Tonight, the circumstances are different.
Tonight, the championship is on the line.
Hansel begins walking toward the ring.
The crowd rises along the aisle, applauding as the champion passes.
He acknowledges the spectators with a brief nod but never takes his eyes from the man waiting between the ropes.
Upon reaching ringside, Hansel removes the Universal Championship from his waist.
He raises it high above his head.
The audience erupts once more.
Inside the ring, Severin Crowne watches without changing his expression.
Hansel climbs the steps and enters.
He walks directly toward the centre and raises the championship again.
Crowne finally offers a faint smile.
The champion lowers the belt.
Neither man speaks.
Julian Ward: "The reigning Universal Champion has arrived, and the significance of this defense cannot be overstated. Hansel has carried the championship with distinction, but tonight he faces an opponent who has already demonstrated that he can defeat him."
Brick Brody: "And that's what makes this dangerous, Julian. The champion isn't walking in against somebody he's already beaten half a dozen times. He's facing a man who knows exactly what it's like to pin his shoulders to the mat. That gets inside your head, whether you admit it or not."
Julian Ward: "The circumstances surrounding the Shadow Court may provide additional motivation for Crowne. But Hansel has an opportunity to answer that Osaka defeat in the most decisive manner possible: by retaining the championship."
Brick Brody: "I've got a feeling we're about to find out which one of these men learned more from that first match."
THE FORMAL INTRODUCTIONS
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring.
"Honest" Abe stands beside him, holding the Universal Championship.
The two competitors take their positions in opposite corners.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL... and it is for the NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP!"
The Coliseum erupts.
Louie Linville: "Introducing first... the challenger! Representing the Shadow Court of Camelot... a man whose influence extends from the royal throne to the very corridors of NPCW authority... SEVERIN CROWNE!"
Severin Crowne steps forward and slowly raises one arm.
The boos grow louder.
He appears entirely unconcerned.
Louie Linville: "And his opponent... the reigning and defending NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION... HANSEL!"
The champion raises both arms as the Coliseum erupts.
"Honest" Abe lifts the Universal Championship above his head.
He turns toward each side of the arena, displaying the belt.
Then he hands it to the timekeeper.
Hansel steps forward.
Severin Crowne meets him near the centre.
The two men stare at one another.
Severin Crowne: "You were warned. The result in Osaka was not an accident."
Hansel: "Then prove it again."
Crowne's smile fades.
"Honest" Abe separates the competitors.
He checks both men and signals to the timekeeper.
The bell rings.
Minute 1
Hansel and Severin Crowne circle cautiously near the centre of the ring.
Neither commits immediately.
Crowne reaches forward, testing the champion's guard.
Hansel responds with a feint before stepping away.
They circle again.
The challenger attempts to secure a wristlock, but Hansel twists through the grip and changes levels.
He catches Crowne by the leg.
Spinning Toe Hold!
The champion twists the trapped leg, forcing the challenger to the canvas.
Crowne attempts to turn through the pressure, but Hansel maintains control and completes another rotation.
The challenger grimaces as the hold places considerable strain upon his knee and ankle.
"Honest" Abe checks the trapped competitor.
Crowne refuses to submit.
He finally manages to twist his hips and force enough separation to escape.
Hansel rises immediately, refusing to allow the challenger a free opening.
Julian Ward: "An intelligent opening from Hansel, who has immediately targeted the challenger's leg with a spinning toe hold. Severin Crowne struggled to defend the maneuver, and that early pressure may become significant as this match progresses."
Brick Brody: "And I like what the champion is doing. He's not charging in trying to knock Crowne's head off because of what happened in Osaka. He's taking away the man's mobility. That's a smart adjustment, especially against somebody who likes to use positioning and leverage."
Julian Ward: "The champion has established the first meaningful advantage. But Crowne remains composed, and we know how dangerous he can become when an opponent grows overconfident."
Minute 2
Severin Crowne rises cautiously, testing the leg that Hansel targeted moments earlier.
The challenger advances with his hands raised.
But Hansel moves first.
He accelerates toward the ropes, rebounds, and launches himself into the air.
Dropkick!
Both boots strike Crowne across the chest!
The challenger staggers backward and crashes onto the canvas.
Hansel lands cleanly and rises immediately.
He catches Crowne as the challenger attempts to stand, forcing him toward the centre.
The champion maintains a tight grip around the upper body, preventing the challenger from retreating toward the ropes.
Crowne finally manages to shove himself free.
But he remains on the defensive.
Julian Ward: "A clean dropkick from Hansel, who continues to dictate the opening pace. The challenger has not yet established a meaningful offensive sequence, and the champion appears determined to prevent Crowne from settling into the contest."
Brick Brody: "That's what speed gives you, Julian. Crowne wanted another measured exchange, but Hansel changed the pace and planted two boots in his chest. The challenger needs to stop reacting and start making something happen."
Julian Ward: "The opening two minutes have belonged primarily to the champion. An encouraging beginning for Hansel after his previous defeat to this opponent."
Minute 3
Severin Crowne attempts to regain control through a collar-and-elbow tie-up.
He catches Hansel around the shoulder and drives him toward the ropes.
The champion twists free.
He rebounds off the opposite side and charges forward.
Flying Forearm Smash!
The strike catches Crowne across the jaw, sending him staggering backward.
But the challenger refuses to fall.
As Hansel approaches again, Crowne catches him around the upper body and forces him toward the nearest corner.
He drives the champion face-first into the turnbuckle!
Hansel staggers backward, clutching his face.
Crowne immediately follows with a hard forearm across the upper back.
The champion turns to face him.
Crowne steps backward, surveying the damage before advancing again.
Julian Ward: "The flying forearm connected, but Severin Crowne has finally answered by driving Hansel into the turnbuckle. That impact has interrupted the champion's momentum and given the challenger his first substantial opening."
Brick Brody: "There he is! That's the Crowne I expected. Hansel came flying in, and Crowne put him straight into the corner. You don't always have to outwrestle a fast opponent. Sometimes you just need to introduce his face to the turnbuckle."
Julian Ward: "The challenger is beginning to respond, but Hansel has demonstrated that he can recover quickly and reestablish his offense."
Minute 4
Severin Crowne attempts to maintain the pressure near the corner.
He catches Hansel with a forearm across the shoulders before reaching for another hold.
But the champion twists free and drives a sharp strike into the challenger's midsection.
Crowne doubles forward.
Hansel hooks his arms around the upper body and lifts.
Spine Crusher!
The champion drives Crowne down across his back with tremendous force.
The impact echoes throughout the Coliseum.
Crowne arches upward, clutching his lower back.
Hansel rises and immediately positions himself between the challenger and the ropes.
He catches Crowne by the wrist and pulls him back toward the centre, refusing to surrender the advantage.
Julian Ward: "A powerful Spine Crusher from Hansel. The champion has responded immediately to the turnbuckle attack and is now beginning to concentrate his offense upon the challenger's back."
Brick Brody: "And that one hurt. Crowne thought he'd found his opening in the corner, but Hansel turned it around and planted him. Now the challenger has a bad leg and a hurting back. That's not where you want to be four minutes into a championship match."
Julian Ward: "The champion continues to execute with precision. His approach tonight appears considerably more deliberate than the one that resulted in his defeat in Osaka."
Minute 5
Hansel drags Severin Crowne toward the centre of the ring.
The challenger attempts to rise, but the champion catches him with a sharp strike and forces him back onto the canvas.
Hansel steps backward and springs upward.
Atomic Knee Drop!
The champion drives his knee into the challenger's upper body!
Crowne cries out and rolls onto his side.
But as Hansel attempts to pull him upright, the challenger suddenly surges forward.
POLICY ADJUSTMENT!
A vicious elbow smash catches Hansel across the side of the neck!
The champion staggers backward.
Crowne moves to capitalize, but Hansel responds with another short strike, sending the challenger down again.
The champion immediately drops into a cover.
"Honest" Abe slides into position.
ONE!
TWO!
SEVERIN CROWNE KICKS OUT!
Hansel rises to one knee, breathing heavily after the elbow strike.
The challenger rolls toward the ropes.
Julian Ward: "Atomic Knee Drop from Hansel, but Severin Crowne answered with Policy Adjustment, that dangerous elbow strike to the neck. The champion nevertheless recovered enough to secure a two-count."
Brick Brody: "That elbow is a nasty weapon, Julian. Crowne doesn't throw it for show. He drives it straight into the neck, and it can change a match in a heartbeat. But Hansel wasn't letting him follow up. Smart move to force the cover while the challenger was still down."
Julian Ward: "Our first significant pinfall attempt has failed, but the challenger has demonstrated that he can turn a defensive position into dangerous offense with very little warning."
Minute 6
Severin Crowne rises near the ropes, still feeling the effects of the knee drop.
Hansel advances immediately.
The challenger attempts to intercept him with a raised forearm.
But the champion ducks beneath the strike.
He rebounds from the ropes.
Flying Forearm Smash!
Crowne is struck flush across the upper body and crashes onto his back!
Hansel immediately hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
TWO!
CROWNE KICKS OUT!
The crowd groans.
Hansel releases the cover and rises.
He takes a moment to examine his opponent, carefully considering the next attack rather than rushing into another pinning attempt.
Crowne rolls toward the ropes, attempting to create distance.
Julian Ward: "Another flying forearm from the champion, and another two-count. Hansel has now threatened victory in consecutive minutes, but Crowne continues to escape before the decisive count."
Brick Brody: "And this is where the champion has to be careful. You can get frustrated when a man keeps kicking out. Crowne is counting on that. He wants Hansel to start making mistakes."
Julian Ward: "The champion has maintained the greater share of offense, but the challenger remains dangerous. Neither of those near falls has diminished Crowne's ability to answer unexpectedly."
Minute 7
Severin Crowne rises cautiously.
Hansel approaches, looking to continue the momentum established by the previous forearm.
He springs forward.
Dropkick!
Both boots strike the challenger across the chest!
Crowne staggers backward toward the corner.
The champion rises and immediately follows.
But Crowne catches him before another attack can connect.
He twists sideways and drives Hansel into the turnbuckle!
The champion's upper body collides with the padded corner.
Crowne holds him there for a moment before releasing the grip.
Hansel stumbles backward, shaking his head.
The challenger advances, attempting to exploit the impact.
But the champion raises his guard, preventing an immediate continuation.
Julian Ward: "Dropkick from Hansel, but once again Crowne has answered by driving the champion into the turnbuckles. The challenger has been using the corners effectively to interrupt Hansel's faster attacks."
Brick Brody: "Because Crowne understands where he is. You don't have to match speed with speed if you can make the ropes and turnbuckles do some of the work for you. Every time Hansel comes charging in, he risks getting planted in that corner."
Julian Ward: "The tactical contrast is becoming clear. Hansel continues looking to maintain a mobile offense, while Crowne is attempting to turn the champion's aggression against him."
Minute 8
Hansel shakes off the impact against the turnbuckles and immediately charges again.
Crowne attempts to cut him off.
But the champion springs forward.
Flying Forearm Smash!
The blow catches the challenger across the jaw.
Crowne staggers backward.
Hansel follows, attempting to secure another hold.
But the challenger suddenly catches him by the upper body and changes direction.
Crowne throws Hansel through the ropes!
The champion crashes onto the arena floor!
The crowd reacts sharply.
"Honest" Abe orders Crowne away from the ropes and begins his count.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Hansel pushes himself upright beside the apron.
FOUR!
FIVE!
The champion grabs the bottom rope.
SIX!
Hansel slides back into the ring!
Crowne immediately advances, attempting to catch him before he regains his footing.
Julian Ward: "The flying forearm connected, but Severin Crowne managed to throw the champion through the ropes. Hansel returned at the count of six, avoiding a potentially disastrous count-out."
Brick Brody: "And that's another useful adjustment from the challenger. Every time Hansel gets something going, Crowne finds a way to stop the momentum. This time he sent him straight to the floor."
Julian Ward: "The champion has now absorbed repeated impacts against the ring structure and the arena floor. That cumulative damage may become increasingly significant."
Minute 9
Severin Crowne catches Hansel as the champion rises from the canvas.
He drives a hard forearm into the upper back.
Hansel stumbles forward.
Crowne immediately catches him around the waist, pulls him into position and secures the head between his legs.
He lifts.
PILEDRIVER!
The champion is driven head-first toward the canvas!
The impact sends a sharp reaction throughout the Coliseum.
Hansel collapses onto his side, clutching his neck.
Crowne rises slowly.
He looks toward the fallen champion, studying the effect of the maneuver.
Then he reaches down and begins drawing Hansel away from the ropes.
The challenger has clearly shifted his attention toward the champion's head and neck.
Julian Ward: "A devastating piledriver from Severin Crowne. The challenger has now established his most dangerous offensive sequence of the match, and the impact to Hansel's head and neck is particularly concerning."
Brick Brody: "That's how you stop a man from flying around the ring! Pick him up and drive him into the canvas. Hansel has been using those forearms and dropkicks all night. Let's see how quickly he moves after a piledriver."
Julian Ward: "The challenger has finally seized a substantial advantage. The champion must find a way to recover before Crowne can build upon that attack."
Minute 10
Severin Crowne attempts to maintain control as Hansel rises near the centre.
The challenger catches him around the head, moving toward the ropes.
He appears to be preparing State Sanction, his slingshot suplex.
But Hansel plants his feet and prevents the lift.
The champion drives a short strike into Crowne's midsection.
Then he catches the challenger around the waist.
Belly-to-Belly Suplex!
Crowne is thrown across the canvas!
The Coliseum erupts.
Hansel rises and immediately follows.
He hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
TWO!
SEVERIN CROWNE KICKS OUT!
The champion releases the cover and rises.
Crowne rolls onto his side, visibly frustrated that his attempted suplex was interrupted.
Julian Ward: "State Sanction was attempted, but Hansel prevented the challenger from completing the slingshot suplex and answered with a powerful belly-to-belly. The resulting cover produced another two-count."
Brick Brody: "Good counter from the champion. Crowne thought he had him positioned for State Sanction, but Hansel stopped it before the lift. That's what happens when you spend too much time setting up a move against somebody who still has plenty of fight left."
Julian Ward: "Ten minutes have elapsed, and the champion has now survived the challenger's most sustained period of offense. The balance remains extremely competitive."
Minute 11
Hansel moves immediately toward the recovering Severin Crowne.
He catches the challenger with a short forearm and forces him down near the centre.
The champion steps backward.
Then springs upward.
Atomic Knee Drop!
The knee crashes into Crowne's upper body!
The challenger cries out and rolls onto his back.
Hansel immediately follows, hooking the leg.
"Honest" Abe begins the count.
ONE!
CROWNE KICKS OUT!
The champion releases the cover.
Crowne rises enough to reach for Hansel, again attempting to secure the setup for State Sanction.
But the champion twists away before the slingshot suplex can be completed.
Hansel steps backward, maintaining a guarded stance.
The challenger slowly pushes himself upright.
Julian Ward: "Another Atomic Knee Drop from the champion. Hansel secured a cover, but Crowne escaped at one and was again unable to complete State Sanction when he attempted to respond."
Brick Brody: "And now you're seeing frustration from both men. Hansel keeps knocking him down but can't keep his shoulders on the mat. Crowne keeps looking for that suplex and can't get it properly set up. Somebody has to change something."
Julian Ward: "Both competitors have clearly studied one another's offense. Their ability to recognize and interrupt familiar techniques may ultimately determine the championship."
Minute 12
Severin Crowne approaches cautiously, wary of another sudden strike from the champion.
Hansel feints toward the upper body.
Then changes levels.
He catches the challenger's leg and twists.
Spinning Toe Hold!
Crowne is forced onto the canvas as the champion rotates around the trapped leg.
The challenger attempts to defend, but Hansel maintains pressure upon the knee and ankle.
Crowne struggles toward the ropes.
The champion finally releases the hold and catches the challenger as he attempts to rise.
He forces Crowne backward into a pinning position.
"Honest" Abe slides into position.
ONE!
TWO!
CROWNE KICKS OUT!
Hansel rises and immediately looks toward the referee.
Two fingers are raised.
The champion nods, accepting the count before returning his attention to the challenger.
Julian Ward: "The spinning toe hold returns, and Hansel has again targeted the leg that he attacked during the opening minute. The challenger was unable to defend the hold effectively, and the champion followed with another two-count."
Brick Brody: "That's smart championship wrestling. Go back to something that worked earlier. Crowne has been throwing elbows and looking for piledrivers, so Hansel is making sure he has to stand on a leg that's already been twisted around."
Julian Ward: "The champion has now produced several significant pinfall opportunities. But Crowne continues to escape, and those unsuccessful covers are beginning to create a sense of urgency."
Minute 13
Hansel advances toward Severin Crowne, looking to maintain his advantage.
The challenger rises near the centre.
Hansel accelerates toward the ropes.
He rebounds.
Flying Forearm Smash!
The strike catches Crowne across the jaw!
But the challenger remains standing long enough to reach forward and catch the champion.
Crowne drives a hard knee into Hansel's midsection.
Then he hooks the upper body and lifts.
PILEDRIVER!
Hansel crashes into the canvas!
The audience reacts sharply.
Both men remain down for several seconds.
Crowne rolls onto one knee, clutching the leg that has absorbed repeated punishment.
Hansel remains on his side, holding his neck.
Julian Ward: "Another flying forearm from Hansel, but Severin Crowne answered with a second piledriver! That is a dangerous development for the champion, whose head and neck have now absorbed repeated high-impact attacks."
Brick Brody: "And that's what makes Crowne so dangerous. He'll take a shot if it means he gets to deliver something worse. Hansel caught him with the forearm, but Crowne drove him into the mat. I know which man I'd rather be right now."
Julian Ward: "Both competitors are beginning to show the cumulative damage of this contest. Thirteen minutes have elapsed, and neither has managed to establish a decisive advantage."
Minute 14
Hansel slowly rises, shaking his head as he attempts to recover from the piledriver.
Severin Crowne advances with his hands raised.
But the champion moves first.
He catches the challenger in a front facelock.
Crowne immediately attempts to twist free.
But Hansel maintains the grip, pulling the challenger downward and forcing him to support additional weight through his neck and shoulders.
The champion plants his feet and tightens the hold.
Crowne struggles, attempting to work one arm between his head and the champion's grip.
Hansel adjusts his position, preventing the escape.
For several seconds, the challenger is forced to remain trapped beneath the pressure.
Finally, Crowne manages to turn enough to reduce the strain and separate.
He retreats toward the ropes, breathing heavily.
Julian Ward: "A sustained front facelock from Hansel. Rather than immediately attempting another high-impact maneuver, the champion has chosen to control Crowne's head and neck, forcing him to work for every inch of separation."
Brick Brody: "And that's a useful way to slow things down when you've just taken a piledriver. Make the other man carry your weight. Make him struggle. Give yourself a chance to get your balance back without letting him attack you again."
Julian Ward: "The champion has demonstrated considerable discipline. But with both men showing increasing fatigue, the danger of a sudden mistake continues to grow."
Minute 15
Severin Crowne advances toward the centre, looking to reestablish control.
He reaches for Hansel's upper body.
But the champion ducks beneath the attempt.
Hansel catches the challenger's arm, twists around behind him and suddenly drops backward.
Sunset Flip!
The Coliseum erupts!
It's the same maneuver that proved so costly in Osaka!
Crowne immediately attempts to shift his weight, recognizing the danger.
But this time, Hansel maintains the stronger position.
"Honest" Abe drops into place.
ONE!
TWO!
SEVERIN CROWNE KICKS OUT!
The champion releases the hold and rises.
Crowne rolls backward, visibly irritated.
For one moment, the two men remain opposite one another, each fully aware of the significance of the exchange.
Hansel gives a brief nod.
Crowne responds with a cold stare.
Julian Ward: "Sunset Flip! Hansel has returned to the maneuver that ultimately cost him the non-title encounter in Osaka. But this time the champion maintained the pinning position, forcing Crowne to escape at two."
Brick Brody: "Now that's interesting! Hansel hasn't forgotten how he lost. He went right back to the same move, and this time Crowne couldn't reverse it. That tells me the champion has been studying the mistake he made."
Julian Ward: "An important psychological moment. The champion has demonstrated that the technique itself was not necessarily the problem in Osaka. The issue was allowing Crowne to reverse the position."
Minute 16
Severin Crowne rises with renewed urgency.
He charges toward Hansel, attempting to catch him before the champion can establish another pinning combination.
But Hansel catches the challenger's arm.
Armdrag!
Crowne is thrown across the canvas.
The champion rises and approaches again.
But the challenger manages to catch him around the upper body.
Crowne forces Hansel toward the ropes.
He hooks the head and uses the tension of the strands to assist the lift.
STATE SANCTION!
The Slingshot Suplex connects!
Hansel crashes backward onto the canvas!
The challenger immediately rolls into a cover.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
HANSEL KICKS OUT!
Crowne rises abruptly, glaring toward the referee.
He had finally connected with one of his signature maneuvers, but the champion has escaped almost immediately.
Julian Ward: "State Sanction connects! Severin Crowne finally completed the slingshot suplex after having earlier attempts interrupted. But Hansel escaped the cover at one."
Brick Brody: "And I don't think Crowne expected that. He finally landed the move he wanted, and the champion barely stayed down long enough for the referee to count. That has to be frustrating after sixteen minutes."
Julian Ward: "The challenger has now demonstrated that he can execute his major offense despite the damage to his leg and back. But he remains unable to turn that offense into a decisive pinfall."
Minute 17
Hansel rises near the ropes as Severin Crowne approaches.
The challenger attempts to secure another front facelock.
But the champion changes levels.
He catches both legs and drives Crowne onto his back.
Boston Crab!
The Coliseum erupts as Hansel steps through the trapped legs and turns the challenger onto his stomach.
Crowne cries out as the pressure begins concentrating across his lower back.
The injured leg is also placed under considerable strain.
"Honest" Abe drops beside the challenger.
"Honest" Abe: "Do you submit?"
Severin Crowne shakes his head.
He refuses!
Hansel sits backward, tightening the hold.
The challenger struggles desperately, inching forward on his forearms.
He reaches toward the ropes.
Not yet.
Crowne pushes forward again.
Finally, his hand catches the bottom strand!
"Honest" Abe orders the break.
Hansel releases the hold.
Crowne rolls onto his side, clutching his lower back.
Julian Ward: "Boston Crab from the Universal Champion! Hansel has returned to the challenger's lower body and forced Crowne into a prolonged defensive struggle. The challenger refused to submit, but that hold clearly caused significant damage."
Brick Brody: "And remember, Julian, Hansel started this match working the leg. Now he's using the Boston Crab to stretch the back and the knees together. That's a nasty combination when you've already taken a spine crusher and several other heavy attacks."
Julian Ward: "The challenger survives, but the champion has come dangerously close to forcing a submission. Seventeen minutes have elapsed, and both men are showing the effects of a demanding championship contest."
Minute 18
Severin Crowne rises slowly near the ropes.
Hansel advances, attempting to keep the pressure on the challenger's injured lower body.
But Crowne suddenly catches the champion around the upper body.
He twists sharply.
And throws Hansel through the ropes!
The Universal Champion crashes onto the arena floor!
The crowd reacts with alarm.
"Honest" Abe immediately begins counting.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Hansel rolls onto his stomach and begins pushing himself upright.
FOUR!
FIVE!
The champion crawls toward the apron.
SIX!
He reaches for the bottom rope.
SEVEN!
Hansel slides into the ring!
He beats the count!
Crowne immediately approaches, attempting to strike before the champion can rise.
But Hansel rolls away from the ropes and forces himself back onto one knee.
Julian Ward: "A second throw through the ropes from Severin Crowne, and this time Hansel needed until the count of seven to return. The champion's recovery is becoming noticeably slower."
Brick Brody: "That's what happens when the damage adds up. Earlier he was back in at six. Now it's seven. Keep throwing a man around like that, and sooner or later he stops getting up."
Julian Ward: "The challenger has created another significant opening. But a count-out would not ordinarily transfer the Universal Championship, and Crowne must still secure a pinfall or submission if he intends to leave with the title."
Minute 19
Hansel rises near the centre of the ring.
Severin Crowne advances, attempting to maintain the momentum established by the ringside attack.
But the champion suddenly springs forward.
Flying Forearm Smash!
The strike catches Crowne across the jaw!
The challenger staggers backward but manages to remain standing.
As Hansel attempts to follow, Crowne catches him around the head and twists sharply.
THE MAJORITY DROP!
The neckbreaker drives the champion into the canvas!
The Coliseum reacts sharply.
Hansel rolls onto his side, clutching his neck.
Crowne rises slowly and looks down at his opponent.
He takes a measured breath before reaching down to pull the champion away from the ropes.
Julian Ward: "A powerful flying forearm from Hansel, answered by the Majority Drop! Severin Crowne has once again concentrated his offense upon the champion's neck, and that is becoming a serious concern."
Brick Brody: "That's a brutal neckbreaker, Julian. Crowne has been working that area with elbows, piledrivers and now the Majority Drop. You can only take so many of those before the body stops cooperating."
Julian Ward: "Nineteen minutes have elapsed. The champion remains competitive, but Crowne's repeated attacks to the head and neck may be approaching a decisive point."
Minute 20
Severin Crowne advances toward the recovering champion.
Hansel attempts to rise, but the challenger catches him around the upper body.
The champion reacts quickly.
He drops beneath the grip and catches Crowne's leg.
Spinning Toe Hold!
The challenger cries out as Hansel twists the knee and ankle once more.
Crowne attempts to force his way free, but the champion maintains the pressure.
Finally, the challenger manages to disrupt the hold.
Both men stagger upright.
Hansel reaches forward, attempting to continue the attack.
But Crowne catches him with a hard strike to the midsection.
He hooks the champion around the head.
PILEDRIVER!
For the third time tonight, Hansel is driven toward the canvas with devastating force!
The Coliseum gasps.
Crowne rolls onto his side, breathing heavily.
Hansel remains down, holding his neck.
Both men have absorbed tremendous punishment.
Julian Ward: "The spinning toe hold connects once again, but Severin Crowne answered with a third piledriver! The champion's neck has been subjected to extraordinary punishment throughout this contest."
Brick Brody: "Three piledrivers, Julian! THREE! I don't care how tough Hansel is, that kind of punishment catches up with you. Crowne has taken plenty of damage himself, but he's doing everything he can to make sure the champion remembers this match."
Julian Ward: "Twenty minutes have elapsed. Both men are visibly exhausted, and the next decisive exchange may well determine who leaves Camelot as Universal Champion."
Minute 21
Severin Crowne rises slowly near the centre.
Hansel pushes himself onto one knee, shaking his head as he attempts to recover from the piledriver.
The challenger advances.
But the champion suddenly surges upward.
He catches Crowne around the upper body and turns sharply.
POWER SLAM!
The champion drives the challenger into the canvas with tremendous force!
The Coliseum erupts!
Hansel immediately hooks the leg.
"Honest" Abe drops into position.
ONE!
TWO!
SEVERIN CROWNE KICKS OUT!
The audience groans.
Hansel rolls backward, exhausted.
Crowne turns onto his side, clutching his ribs.
The champion slowly rises and looks toward the referee.
Two fingers.
Only two.
Hansel nods and turns back toward the challenger.
Julian Ward: "POWER SLAM! Hansel has somehow produced another tremendous offensive maneuver after absorbing three piledrivers. The champion nearly retained the Universal Championship, but Severin Crowne escaped at two."
Brick Brody: "How much more can either man take? Hansel has been dropped on his head repeatedly, and he just found enough strength to plant Crowne with a powerslam. The challenger kicked out, but neither one is moving quickly anymore."
Julian Ward: "Twenty-one minutes have elapsed. Both competitors are exhausted. The championship remains undecided, and every movement now carries enormous significance."
Minute 22
Hansel rises slowly near the centre of the ring.
Across from him, Severin Crowne pushes himself upright using the ropes.
The crowd rises.
Both men stagger toward one another.
Crowne strikes first.
POLICY ADJUSTMENT!
The elbow smash catches Hansel across the side of the neck!
The champion staggers backward.
The challenger attempts to follow with another attack.
But Hansel suddenly drops beneath the approaching arms.
He catches Crowne around the waist.
And rolls backward!
SUNSET FLIP!
THE SAME MANEUVER FROM OSAKA!
The Coliseum erupts!
Crowne immediately attempts to shift his weight.
He remembers the reversal.
He tries to turn the champion's momentum against him again.
But this time, Hansel has anticipated the movement.
The champion adjusts his grip and maintains the stronger position.
Both of Crowne's shoulders are pressed against the canvas!
"Honest" Abe drops into position!
ONE!
Crowne struggles!
TWO!
The challenger attempts one final bridge!
THREE!
THE BELL RINGS!
HANSEL RETAINS THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
The Coliseum EXPLODES!
Hansel releases the pinning combination and rolls backward, exhausted.
Severin Crowne sits upright in complete disbelief.
He looks toward the referee.
"Honest" Abe raises three fingers.
The decision is final.
Crowne pounds the canvas with one fist.
Across the ring, Hansel struggles onto one knee.
The champion looks toward the official, waiting for confirmation.
Then he raises both arms.
The audience erupts again.
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring as the Universal Championship is returned to the referee.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen... the winner of this contest, by PINFALL in the twenty-second minute..."
A brief pause.
Louie Linville: "...and STILL NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION... HANSEL!"
"Honest" Abe presents the championship to Hansel.
The champion raises it high above his head.
Severin Crowne remains seated near the ropes, his expression utterly cold.
Twenty-two minutes of competition.
And the challenger has been defeated by the same maneuver he used to defeat the champion in Osaka.
Julian Ward: "An extraordinary conclusion! Hansel has retained the NPCW Universal Championship in twenty-two minutes, defeating Severin Crowne with the sunset flip! The very maneuver that cost him the non-title match in Osaka has now secured his championship defense."
Brick Brody: "And that's got to sting for Crowne! He beat Hansel by reversing that sunset flip in Japan, but tonight the champion was ready. Crowne tried to shift the weight again, and Hansel held him down for three. That's a clever piece of wrestling from the champion."
Julian Ward: "The Universal Championship remains with Hansel, and he has answered his Osaka defeat in the most meaningful way possible. Severin Crowne earned his opportunity, came dangerously close on several occasions, but ultimately failed to capture the championship. The result is official, and the Shadow Court's hopes of adding the Universal Championship to its collection have been denied."
RESULT: HANSEL DEFEATS SEVERIN CROWNE BY PINFALL IN THE 22ND MINUTE FOLLOWING A SUNSET FLIP TO RETAIN THE NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
The celebration continues inside Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum.
Hansel stands in the centre of the ring, exhausted but triumphant, the Universal Championship raised above his head.
The audience responds with another enormous ovation.
Across the ring, Severin Crowne has finally pulled himself upright using the ropes.
He watches the champion celebrate.
His expression is no longer merely disappointed.
It is cold.
Calculating.
And unmistakably furious.
Hansel lowers the championship and turns toward the ropes, preparing to leave.
Then the crowd suddenly begins booing.
The camera cuts toward the entrance.
Three figures are advancing down the aisle.
TIN MAN!
SIR AGRAVAINE!
THE SHERIFF OF NOTTINGHAM!
The enforcers of the Shadow Court have arrived!
Sir Agravaine still shows the effects of his earlier defeat against the rebels. His movements are stiff, his expression twisted with anger.
Beside him, the immense metallic figure of Tin Man advances with mechanical determination.
And the Sheriff of Nottingham marches toward the ring, his gaze fixed upon the Universal Champion.
Julian Ward: "Wait a moment. We have members of the Shadow Court approaching the ring! That's Tin Man, Sir Agravaine, and the Sheriff of Nottingham! What are they doing here?"
Brick Brody: "I think I know exactly what they're doing, Julian! The king lost his match, Lancelot walked away, and now Crowne has failed to capture the Universal Championship. The Shadow Court has had enough humiliation for one night!"
Hansel turns toward the advancing men.
He immediately recognizes the danger.
The champion hands the Universal Championship to the referee and raises his fists.
"Honest" Abe moves toward the ropes, attempting to prevent the approaching men from entering.
But Tin Man steps onto the apron.
The enormous enforcer climbs over the top rope.
Sir Agravaine and the Sheriff of Nottingham enter from opposite sides.
Hansel is surrounded.
The champion turns toward Tin Man.
But before he can move, Sir Agravaine attacks from behind!
REAR HIGH KNEE!
The strike catches Hansel across the upper back!
The champion staggers forward.
Directly into Tin Man.
SHORT-ARM CLOTHESLINE!
The enormous metallic arm crashes across the champion's chest!
Hansel is knocked violently onto his back.
The Coliseum erupts in boos.
"Honest" Abe attempts to intervene.
"Honest" Abe: "GET OUT OF THE RING! THE MATCH IS OVER!"
But the Sheriff of Nottingham steps into his path.
Sheriff of Nottingham: "Stand aside."
The official refuses.
The Sheriff forces him backward toward the corner.
Meanwhile, Hansel struggles onto one knee.
He throws a desperate forearm toward Sir Agravaine.
The strike connects!
Agravaine staggers backward.
Hansel rises and catches him with another forearm.
Then he turns toward the approaching Sheriff of Nottingham.
Dropkick!
The blow catches the Sheriff across the chest!
The audience erupts.
But the resistance lasts only a moment.
Tin Man catches the champion from behind.
He wraps his enormous arms around Hansel's upper body and lifts.
POWER SLAM!
The Universal Champion is driven into the canvas!
Julian Ward: "This is a disgraceful attack! Hansel has just completed a grueling twenty-two-minute championship defense, and now three members of the Shadow Court are assaulting him! He has no opportunity to defend himself against these numbers!"
Brick Brody: "And that's the whole point, Julian! They're not trying to win a wrestling match. They're trying to make an example out of the man who just embarrassed Severin Crowne! I don't like the champion's chances against those three, especially after the punishment he absorbed tonight."
Hansel attempts to roll onto his stomach.
But Sir Agravaine catches him.
The knight drives a series of heavy stomps into the champion's upper back.
The Sheriff of Nottingham joins him.
Together, they drag Hansel upright.
Tin Man approaches.
The three men force the champion into the corner.
Sir Agravaine delivers another knee to the midsection.
The Sheriff follows with a crushing forearm across the chest.
Then Tin Man charges forward.
RUNNING CORNER SPLASH!
The enormous metallic enforcer crushes Hansel against the turnbuckles!
The champion collapses onto the canvas.
The crowd erupts in fury.
"SHADOW COURT SUCKS!"
"SHADOW COURT SUCKS!"
"SHADOW COURT SUCKS!"
Severin Crowne has remained near the ropes throughout the attack.
Now he rises fully.
He straightens his jacket and slowly approaches the fallen Universal Champion.
Sir Agravaine, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Tin Man step aside.
Crowne looks down at Hansel.
The champion struggles onto his elbows.
Severin Crowne: "You seem to have misunderstood something."
His voice is quiet.
Measured.
Severin Crowne: "Winning a match does not exempt you from its consequences."
Hansel attempts to rise.
But Sir Agravaine immediately drives another knee into his back, forcing him down.
Crowne crouches beside the champion.
Severin Crowne: "You have your championship."
He glances toward the Universal Championship lying near the ropes.
Severin Crowne: "Congratulations."
A pause.
Severin Crowne: "But do not mistake possession for power."
He rises.
Then looks toward Tin Man.
A single nod.
The enormous enforcer reaches down and drags Hansel upright.
Sir Agravaine and the Sheriff of Nottingham seize the champion's arms, preventing him from escaping.
Hansel struggles, but his exhausted body cannot overcome the combined strength of three attackers.
Tin Man steps backward.
Then charges.
DEVASTATING BIG BOOT!
The strike catches Hansel across the upper chest and sends him crashing onto the canvas!
The champion lies motionless for several seconds.
The Coliseum erupts in outrage.
Julian Ward: "Enough! This is no longer an attempt to intimidate the champion. This is a deliberate assault by the Shadow Court, and Severin Crowne is standing there overseeing every moment of it!"
Brick Brody: "They've made their statement, Julian! Hansel kept the Universal Championship, but the Shadow Court wants everybody to know there is a price for beating one of its most influential members. And after what happened to King Arthur earlier tonight, they're determined that somebody is going to pay."
NPCW security personnel begin rushing down the aisle.
Several officials follow.
Inside the ring, Severin Crowne notices their approach.
He raises one hand.
The attack stops.
Tin Man steps backward.
Sir Agravaine releases the champion.
The Sheriff of Nottingham turns toward the arriving officials.
But Crowne does not immediately leave.
He walks toward the Universal Championship, which remains near the ropes where the referee placed it before the assault.
He bends down.
Picks it up.
And studies the gold plates.
For several seconds, the challenger holds the championship he failed to win.
Then he walks toward Hansel.
Crowne kneels beside the fallen champion.
And carefully places the Universal Championship across his chest.
Severin Crowne: "Keep it."
A pause.
Severin Crowne: "For now."
He rises.
Without another word, Severin Crowne exits the ring.
Tin Man, Sir Agravaine, and the Sheriff of Nottingham follow him.
Security personnel move toward the ring, but the four members of the Shadow Court make no attempt to continue the confrontation.
They simply walk away.
As though the attack were an ordinary matter of business.
The camera follows them up the aisle.
Crowne never looks backward.
Inside the ring, the officials gather around Hansel.
"Honest" Abe kneels beside the champion, carefully removing the championship from his chest so the medical personnel can examine him.
Hansel begins moving, eventually pushing himself onto one elbow.
The audience applauds as he attempts to rise.
But the damage is obvious.
He has survived a championship defense against one of the most dangerous challengers in NPCW.
And then suffered a vicious assault at the hands of the Shadow Court.
The Universal Championship remains his.
But the victory has come at a tremendous cost.
Julian Ward: "What an appalling conclusion to an otherwise outstanding championship match. Hansel defeated Severin Crowne cleanly in the twenty-second minute, retaining the Universal Championship. That result cannot be disputed. But the Shadow Court has now answered defeat with another coordinated act of violence. Tin Man, Sir Agravaine, and the Sheriff of Nottingham have attacked an exhausted champion, and Crowne has made his intentions unmistakable."
Brick Brody: "And this is why I keep saying championships don't protect you from the people who want them, Julian. Hansel won the match. He proved he could beat Crowne when it mattered. But the Shadow Court doesn't care about congratulations or sportsmanship. They were humiliated earlier tonight, and they weren't going to let another defeat pass without answering it."
Julian Ward: "Tonight has exposed two very different responses to the authority of King Arthur and his allies. Earlier, Sir Lancelot refused to obey a command that violated his understanding of honor. Now the remaining enforcers of the Shadow Court have demonstrated that their allegiance remains firmly with those who use power to punish resistance. Hansel remains the Universal Champion, but the question is no longer merely who holds the title. It is how far the Shadow Court is prepared to go when its authority is challenged."
The camera returns to the ring.
Hansel is seated against the bottom turnbuckle, supported by two officials.
He refuses assistance when one of them attempts to take the championship from his hands.
Instead, the champion grips the belt tightly.
He looks toward the entrance.
His expression is no longer triumphant.
It is filled with anger.
On the arena screens, the official result remains displayed.
HANSEL – STILL NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION.
The champion slowly raises the belt.
The Coliseum responds with a sustained ovation.
But the final image is not one of celebration.
It is of a battered champion, sitting beneath the weight of his title, staring toward the corridor through which his attackers disappeared.
The screen fades to black.
THE SHADOW COURT HAS ANSWERED.

The broadcast returns backstage inside Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum.
The atmosphere is considerably quieter than the chaos that unfolded only moments earlier.
The camera moves through the medical treatment area, where several members of the NPCW medical staff are attending to an injured competitor.
Seated upon a treatment bench is the reigning NPCW Universal Champion, Hansel.
The champion is visibly battered.
His neck and shoulders have been examined following the three piledrivers he absorbed during his championship defense against Severin Crowne. Bruising is visible across his upper body, and every movement appears uncomfortable.
But it is not pain that dominates his expression.
It is anger.
The Universal Championship rests across his knees.
Standing nearby is Hana Nakamura, who waits until one of the medical personnel finishes speaking with the champion before approaching.
Hana Nakamura: "Hansel, thank you for taking a moment to speak with me. First, I have to ask... how are you feeling?"
Hansel looks up slowly.
Hansel: "How do I look, Hana?"
He gestures toward his bruised shoulders.
Hansel: "I just spent twenty-two minutes defending the Universal Championship against one of the most dangerous men in this division. I took three piledrivers. I fought through everything he threw at me."
He pauses.
Hansel: "And I won."
He lifts the championship slightly.
Hansel: "I beat Severin Crowne. One, two, three. Right in the middle of that ring."
His expression hardens.
Hansel: "But apparently that wasn't enough for him."
Hana Nakamura: "That's what I wanted to ask you about. After your victory, Tin Man, Sir Agravaine, and the Sheriff of Nottingham entered the ring and attacked you. Severin Crowne stood there overseeing the assault."
She glances toward the championship.
Hana Nakamura: "You managed to retain your title, but the Shadow Court clearly wanted to send a message. What do you have to say to them?"
Hansel looks down for a moment.
Then he rises from the treatment bench.
A medical attendant instinctively reaches toward him.
Hansel raises one hand, indicating that he is capable of standing on his own.
He takes the Universal Championship and places it across his shoulder.
Hansel: "A message?"
He lets out a short, humorless laugh.
Hansel: "They wanted to send me a message?"
He looks directly toward the camera.
Hansel: "Then let me send one right back."
His voice becomes harder.
Hansel: "Severin Crowne... you got exactly what you asked for tonight."
Hansel: "You beat me in Osaka. You walked around acting like that made you the rightful Universal Champion. You demanded your opportunity. You got your match."
He taps the championship on his shoulder.
Hansel: "And when it mattered, when this championship was actually on the line, you couldn't beat me."
A pause.
Hansel: "So what did you do?"
His eyes narrow.
Hansel: "You called your friends."
Hansel: "You brought Tin Man. You brought Sir Agravaine. You brought the Sheriff of Nottingham. Three men to attack somebody who had just finished a championship match."
He shakes his head in disgust.
Hansel: "That's not power, Crowne."
Hansel: "That's cowardice."
Hana Nakamura: "Do you believe this was retaliation for your victory, or was it connected to everything else that has happened to the Shadow Court tonight?"
Hansel: "Both."
His answer is immediate.
Hansel: "Look at what happened tonight, Hana. King Arthur got beaten. Sir Lancelot finally decided he'd had enough and walked away. Robin Hood and his people stood up to the king, and the king couldn't stop them."
Hansel: "Then Severin Crowne had his chance to restore a little pride to that precious Shadow Court by bringing home the Universal Championship."
He pauses.
Hansel: "And he failed."
Hansel: "So they did what they always do when things don't go their way. They used numbers. They used intimidation. They tried to make somebody pay for embarrassing them."
He looks toward the championship again.
Hansel: "Well, they picked the wrong somebody."
Hana Nakamura: "You've made it clear that you're angry. But considering what happened out there, are you concerned that continuing this confrontation could put your health, or your championship reign, in danger?"
Hansel nods slowly.
Hansel: "Of course there's danger."
He gestures toward the medical area.
Hansel: "You think I don't understand that? I can barely turn my head without feeling what happened out there."
His expression hardens again.
Hansel: "But being Universal Champion isn't supposed to be comfortable."
Hansel: "It means you defend this championship against the best competitors in NPCW. It means you accept the challenges that come with carrying the most important prize in this company."
He raises the belt slightly.
Hansel: "And it means that when somebody tries to take it from you, you make them earn it."
A pause.
Hansel: "Severin Crowne couldn't earn it."
Hansel: "So his friends tried to beat it out of me."
He looks directly into the camera.
Hansel: "Well, I'm still standing."
Hansel: "And I'm still the Universal Champion."
Hana Nakamura: "So what happens now?"
Hansel takes a moment before responding.
Hansel: "Now?"
He adjusts the championship across his shoulder.
Hansel: "Now I make something perfectly clear."
Hansel: "I'm not finished with the Shadow Court."
Hansel: "Not with Crowne. Not with Agravaine. Not with that walking pile of metal they call Tin Man. And certainly not with the Sheriff of Nottingham."
Hansel: "They wanted my attention?"
He pauses.
Hansel: "They've got it."
THE COMMISSIONER ARRIVES
Before Hana can respond, a calm voice interrupts from beyond the camera.
Elias Coldmere: "Good."
Hana Nakamura turns toward the approaching figure.
The camera widens.
Standing in the doorway is ELIAS COLDMERE, Commissioner of the Mythic Division.
He is dressed in a dark, immaculately tailored suit, his expression controlled and serious.
Unlike the chaotic figures who have dominated tonight's confrontations, Coldmere carries himself with the quiet authority of a man accustomed to making difficult decisions without raising his voice.
He steps into the medical area.
Hana Nakamura: "Commissioner Coldmere."
Elias Coldmere: "Miss Nakamura."
He turns toward the champion.
Elias Coldmere: "Hansel."
Hansel regards him cautiously.
Hansel: "Commissioner."
Elias Coldmere studies the champion's condition.
Elias Coldmere: "First, congratulations on retaining the Universal Championship."
Hansel: "Thank you."
Elias Coldmere: "Your performance was exceptional. You defeated a challenger who had already beaten you once, and you did so under considerably greater pressure."
A pause.
Elias Coldmere: "Unfortunately, what followed was considerably less admirable."
Hansel lets out a bitter laugh.
Hansel: "That's one way of putting it."
Elias Coldmere: "I have reviewed the footage. The match was over. The decision was official. There was no legitimate reason for the subsequent assault."
Hansel: "Then do something about it."
The commissioner meets his gaze.
Elias Coldmere: "I intend to."
Hana Nakamura: "Commissioner, does that mean disciplinary action against the Shadow Court?"
Elias Coldmere: "Their conduct will be addressed through the appropriate channels. But I did not come here tonight to announce a disciplinary ruling."
He turns back toward Hansel.
Elias Coldmere: "I came because I heard what you just said."
Hansel: "Which part?"
Elias Coldmere: "That you are not finished with the Shadow Court."
Hansel nods.
Hansel: "I'm not."
Elias Coldmere: "Good. Because neither is the Universal Championship picture."
The champion narrows his eyes.
Hansel: "What does that mean?"
Elias Coldmere folds his hands in front of him.
Elias Coldmere: "The NPCW and HCW Convergence event takes place in November. It is an important commitment for both organizations, and the championship landscape must be considered in that context."
He pauses deliberately.
Elias Coldmere: "But once Convergence has concluded, your next Universal Championship defense has already been determined."
Hana immediately raises her microphone.
Hana Nakamura: "Commissioner, against whom?"
Elias Coldmere looks directly at Hansel.
Elias Coldmere: "After Convergence, you will defend the NPCW Universal Championship..."
He allows the words to settle.
Elias Coldmere: "...against Severin Crowne."
Hansel shakes his head with visible irritation.
Hansel: "Again?"
But the commissioner raises one finger.
Elias Coldmere: "And Sir Agravaine."
The champion stares at him.
Hana Nakamura: "Wait... both of them?"
Elias Coldmere: "Correct."
He pauses.
Elias Coldmere: "A TRIPLE THREAT MATCH."
The camera moves closer to Hansel.
For several seconds, he says nothing.
Then he lets out a disbelieving laugh.
Hansel: "You've got to be kidding me."
Elias Coldmere: "I assure you, I am not."
Hansel: "I just beat Crowne. Clean. In the middle of the ring."
He points toward the bruises upon his upper body.
Hansel: "Then Agravaine helps jump me after the match."
His voice rises.
Hansel: "And now they're both getting a shot at my championship?"
Hana Nakamura: "Commissioner, I think that's a fair question. Doesn't this effectively give two members of the Shadow Court the opportunity to accomplish together what Severin Crowne couldn't accomplish tonight?"
Elias Coldmere remains composed.
Elias Coldmere: "It does create that possibility."
He turns toward the champion.
Elias Coldmere: "And I would be doing you a disservice if I suggested otherwise."
Hansel: "Then explain it."
Elias Coldmere: "The Universal Championship is not an instrument of royal patronage. It is not a prize that can be allocated by decree, nor is it something the Shadow Court can claim simply because it possesses influence."
His tone remains measured.
Elias Coldmere: "But I have two men whose actions and ambitions have placed them directly in the championship picture. One defeated you in Osaka before losing tonight's title match. The other has now made himself an active participant in this dispute."
Elias Coldmere: "I intend to resolve that dispute in the ring."
Hansel: "By putting me in there against both of them?"
Elias Coldmere: "Yes."
A pause.
Elias Coldmere: "And I want you to understand precisely what that means."
Hana turns her microphone toward the commissioner.
Elias Coldmere: "In a Triple Threat Match, you will not have to be the competitor who is pinned or forced to submit to lose the Universal Championship."
Hansel listens without interruption.
Elias Coldmere: "If Severin Crowne defeats Sir Agravaine, or if Sir Agravaine defeats Severin Crowne, the championship changes hands."
Elias Coldmere: "You could remain standing and still lose your title."
He pauses.
Elias Coldmere: "That is the risk."
Hansel adjusts the championship across his shoulder.
Hansel: "So I have to watch both of them."
Elias Coldmere: "Precisely."
Hansel: "And they can work together against me."
Elias Coldmere: "They may attempt to."
The commissioner tilts his head slightly.
Elias Coldmere: "But when the Universal Championship is at stake, alliances have an unfortunate tendency to become less reliable."
Hansel considers the comment.
Elias Coldmere: "Only one man can leave that match as champion."
A silence follows.
Hana Nakamura: "Hansel, you've just learned that your next title defense will be against two members of the same faction, including the man you defeated tonight and one of the men who attacked you afterward."
She pauses.
Hana Nakamura: "What's your reaction?"
Hansel looks toward Elias Coldmere.
Then toward the Universal Championship.
For a moment, his expression suggests that he is weighing the implications of the announcement.
Then he smiles.
Not because he finds the situation amusing.
But because his anger has finally found a direction.
Hansel: "You know something, Commissioner?"
Elias Coldmere: "I'm listening."
Hansel: "When I won this championship, I knew what carrying it meant."
He shifts the belt into both hands.
Hansel: "I knew every wrestler in NPCW would eventually want a piece of me. I knew I'd have to face men who were bigger, stronger, more experienced, or willing to do whatever it took to win."
Hansel: "That's what being Universal Champion demands."
He looks toward the commissioner.
Hansel: "But here's something the Shadow Court doesn't understand."
He taps the championship.
Hansel: "This isn't Arthur's title."
Hansel: "It isn't Crowne's title."
Hansel: "And it certainly doesn't belong to Sir Agravaine just because he knows how to attack somebody from behind."
He lifts the championship toward the camera.
Hansel: "This is the NPCW Universal Championship."
Hansel: "And as long as I'm carrying it, nobody gets to decide who deserves it by pointing at a throne or waving a royal decree."
His voice becomes stronger.
Hansel: "Crowne wants another chance? Fine."
Hansel: "Agravaine wants to step out from behind his friends and fight for himself? Even better."
He looks directly into the camera.
Hansel: "They can come together. They can make all the plans they want. They can convince themselves that putting two Shadow Court members in the same ring guarantees them a new champion."
He shakes his head.
Hansel: "But they'd better remember something."
A pause.
Hansel: "I beat Severin Crowne tonight."
Hansel: "And if I have to beat him again, I'll beat him again."
Hansel: "If Sir Agravaine wants to get involved, I'll deal with him too."
He turns toward Elias Coldmere.
Hansel: "You want a Triple Threat Match after Convergence?"
Elias Coldmere: "That is the match."
Hansel gives a firm nod.
Hansel: "Then BRING IT ON!"
He raises the championship.
Hansel: "Because I'm not going anywhere."
Hansel: "And neither is this title."
Elias Coldmere studies him for a moment.
Then gives a restrained nod of approval.
Elias Coldmere: "Very well."
He adjusts his jacket.
Elias Coldmere: "Then the matter is settled."
Elias Coldmere: "After Convergence, Hansel will defend the NPCW Universal Championship against Severin Crowne and Sir Agravaine in a Triple Threat Match."
He looks toward the championship one final time.
Elias Coldmere: "In the meantime, Champion, I suggest you follow the instructions of our medical staff."
Hansel offers a faint smile.
Hansel: "I'll manage."
Elias Coldmere: "See that you do."
The commissioner turns and exits the medical area.
Hana Nakamura remains beside the champion.
She looks toward the corridor through which Coldmere departed.
Hana Nakamura: "Well, that was certainly unexpected."
Hansel: "Not the way I would've chosen to end the night."
He glances down at the championship.
Hansel: "But I meant what I said."
Hana Nakamura: "You aren't backing down?"
Hansel looks up.
Hansel: "Not a chance."
He pauses.
Hansel: "Severin Crowne thinks everything has a price. Every favor. Every position. Every person."
He lifts the Universal Championship.
Hansel: "Well, there's one thing he hasn't been able to buy."
Hana Nakamura: "What's that?"
Hansel: "This."
He raises the championship.
Hansel: "And if he wants it, he's still going to have to beat me."
Hana Nakamura nods.
Hana Nakamura: "Thank you, Hansel. And congratulations again on retaining the Universal Championship."
Hansel: "Thank you, Hana."
The champion slowly returns to the treatment bench, allowing the medical staff to resume examining his neck and shoulders.
But he keeps the Universal Championship close.
Hana Nakamura turns toward the camera.
Hana Nakamura: "Ladies and gentlemen, an extraordinary announcement from Mythic Commissioner Elias Coldmere. Following November's Convergence event, the NPCW Universal Championship will be defended in a Triple Threat Match."
Hana Nakamura: "The reigning champion, Hansel, against two members of the Shadow Court... Severin Crowne and Sir Agravaine."
Hana Nakamura: "And judging by the champion's response, tonight's attack has only made him more determined to stand against them."
She pauses.
Hana Nakamura: "Back to ringside."
The broadcast transitions to a championship graphic.
Against a dark background, the NPCW Universal Championship slowly rotates.
Three figures emerge around it.
On the left, SEVERIN CROWNE.
On the right, SIR AGRAVAINE.
And at the centre, the reigning champion, HANSEL.
ANNOUNCED FOR AFTER CONVERGENCE – NOVEMBER 2026
NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
HANSEL (C) VS. SEVERIN CROWNE VS. SIR AGRAVAINE
The championship graphic holds for several seconds.
Then the camera briefly returns to the medical area.
Hansel sits upon the treatment bench.
His expression remains stern.
He places one hand firmly upon the Universal Championship.
And looks directly into the camera.
The image fades to black.
THE SHADOW COURT WANTS THE UNIVERSE.
THE CHAMPION ISN'T READY TO SURRENDER IT.

Referee: "Honest" Abe
The broadcast returns to Scrooge's Camelot Coliseum, where the audience is still absorbing the extraordinary developments that have unfolded throughout tonight's Dark Fable.
The rebellion against King Arthur has claimed a major victory. Sir Lancelot has abandoned the royal court. Hansel has successfully defended the Universal Championship, only to suffer a vicious attack by the Shadow Court.
And now another confrontation awaits, bringing together six women whose backgrounds are steeped in ancient mythology, sorcery, and the darker traditions of the realms.
The camera returns to the commentary desk.
Julian Ward: "Ladies and gentlemen, we return to competition following another significant announcement from Mythic Commissioner Elias Coldmere. After November's Convergence event, Hansel will defend the Universal Championship against Severin Crowne and Sir Agravaine in a Triple Threat Match. But right now, our attention turns toward a six-woman contest featuring the Monsters of Myth against Thorn and Crown and Yurei Rinn."
Brick Brody: "And what a collection of dangerous women we've got here, Julian. Three monsters on one side, two women who know their way around the darker arts on the other, and somebody from Lord Kurogami's circle thrown into the middle of it. I wouldn't want to be the referee in this one."
Julian Ward: "The contrast in styles should be fascinating. The Monsters of Myth possess an unusual combination of strength, speed, and coordinated aggression. Their opponents bring a very different approach, particularly the dangerous submission abilities of Morgana Le Faye."
Brick Brody: "And don't forget who's coming to ringside. Lord Kurogami doesn't involve himself in matters without a reason. Whatever his interest in this contest, you can be certain he'll be watching every mistake."
THE MONSTERS OF MYTH ENTER
The arena lights dim.
A low, ominous rumble spreads throughout the Coliseum.
Across the enormous screens, ancient stone carvings emerge from darkness. Serpentine figures twist around ruined columns, their eyes glowing beneath an unnatural green light.
A heavy, pounding rhythm begins.
Three figures emerge beneath the entrance arch.
HYDRA VEYNE.
MEDUSSA NEMESIS.
SERPENTA VEYNE.
The MONSTERS OF MYTH have arrived.
Hydra Veyne leads the procession, carrying herself with the imposing confidence of a competitor who intends to establish physical superiority from the opening bell.
Beside her walks Medussa Nemesis, her expression cold and predatory. She studies the ring as though measuring the distance between herself and her next victim.
Serpenta Veyne follows with noticeably different energy, moving with agile precision, her gaze constantly shifting as she surveys the audience and the arena floor.
The three women stop beneath the entrance arch.
Then begin advancing together.
Julian Ward: "An imposing combination. Hydra Veyne brings considerable power, Serpenta Veyne possesses exceptional agility, and Medussa Nemesis adds another dangerous physical dimension. If these three establish coordinated offense, their opponents could face serious difficulty."
Brick Brody: "And that's what I like about them. They don't all wrestle the same way. Hydra can throw somebody across the ring, Serpenta can attack from angles you don't expect, and Medussa can hit you hard enough to make you forget what you were planning. That's a dangerous combination."
Julian Ward: "The question will be whether they can maintain that coordination against a trio with its own considerable experience and unconventional abilities."
The three competitors enter the ring.
Hydra moves directly toward the centre, looking across the Coliseum with confidence.
Medussa takes position beside her.
Serpenta climbs onto the middle turnbuckle, surveying the audience before stepping back down.
Their music fades.
THORN AND CROWN – WITH YUREI RINN
A cold wind seems to sweep through the Coliseum.
The enormous screens turn black.
Slowly, crimson roses emerge against the darkness.
Thorns begin spreading across the image, winding around an ancient crown.
A haunting orchestral theme rises.
Then the image changes.
The crown fractures beneath a dark violet flame.
ROSALYN THE QUEEN OF THORNS emerges first.
She advances with regal composure, surveying the Coliseum with the imperious confidence of a woman who considers herself beholden to no one.
Beside her walks MORGANA LE FAYE.
The legendary sorceress moves with deliberate calm, her gaze fixed upon the three women waiting inside the ring.
There is something unsettling about the stillness of her expression.
She does not appear intimidated by the numerical equality of the contest or by the formidable physical presence of her opponents.
Instead, she looks almost curious.
Then the entrance music changes.
A deep ceremonial drum begins sounding.
Dark Japanese imagery spreads across the enormous screens.
The imposing insignia of the Blood Syndicate appears.
And from beneath the entrance arch emerges YUREI RINN.
The mysterious competitor advances with controlled intensity, her expression unreadable.
Walking behind her is LORD KUROGAMI.
The formidable leader of the Blood Syndicate studies the arena with cold authority, his presence bringing an unmistakably ominous dimension to the proceedings.
Yurei Rinn approaches Rosalyn and Morgana.
The three women exchange brief looks.
There is no elaborate display of friendship.
Only the understanding that they share a common objective tonight.
Lord Kurogami gestures toward the ring.
The three competitors begin their walk.
Julian Ward: "An intriguing alliance indeed. Rosalyn the Queen of Thorns and Morgana Le Faye, representing Thorn and Crown, are joined tonight by Yurei Rinn, who arrives accompanied by Lord Kurogami."
Brick Brody: "And I wouldn't mistake this for some friendly little arrangement, Julian. These are dangerous personalities with their own ambitions. But they don't have to like one another to win. They just have to know when to stand aside and let the right woman do the damage."
Julian Ward: "Morgana Le Faye is particularly dangerous in a contest of this nature. Her command of technical wrestling and submission holds can create an immediate threat, even against opponents who possess a significant physical advantage."
Brick Brody: "And if you give a woman like Morgana an arm, a leg, or an exposed neck, don't be surprised when she tries to twist it into something that no longer works properly."
The three women reach ringside.
Rosalyn climbs the steps first.
Morgana follows, stepping between the ropes without taking her eyes from Hydra Veyne.
Yurei Rinn enters last.
At ringside, Lord Kurogami positions himself near their corner, folding his arms as he studies the opposition.
The six competitors stand opposite one another.
THE FORMAL INTRODUCTIONS
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring.
"Honest" Abe positions himself between the teams.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a SIX-WOMAN TAG TEAM MATCH scheduled for ONE FALL!"
The Coliseum responds.
Louie Linville: "Introducing first... a trio representing the legendary creatures and ancient terrors of the realms... HYDRA VEYNE... MEDUSSA NEMESIS... and SERPENTA VEYNE... THE MONSTERS OF MYTH!"
The three women step forward, acknowledging the introduction with confident expressions.
Louie Linville: "And their opponents... accompanied to the ring by LORD KUROGAMI... representing THORN AND CROWN... ROSALYN THE QUEEN OF THORNS and MORGANA LE FAYE... alongside their partner... YUREI RINN!"
Rosalyn raises her chin proudly.
Morgana slowly extends one hand toward the opposition before lowering it again.
Yurei Rinn remains motionless.
"Honest" Abe completes the final instructions.
Hydra Veyne steps forward for the Monsters of Myth.
Morgana Le Faye elects to begin for her team.
The other four women take their positions on the aprons.
Lord Kurogami watches from ringside.
The referee signals for the bell.
Minute 1
Hydra Veyne advances immediately, attempting to impose her considerable strength upon Morgana Le Faye.
The sorceress approaches cautiously, raising both arms as the two women meet near the centre.
Hydra secures a collar-and-elbow tie-up and immediately begins forcing her opponent backward.
Morgana attempts to shift her position, looking for an opportunity to turn beneath the grip.
But Hydra maintains control.
She changes her hold, moving quickly behind the sorceress.
Both arms lock around the waist.
Morgana attempts to brace herself.
But Hydra powers upward.
RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX!
Morgana Le Faye is launched backward through the air!
She crashes heavily onto her shoulders and upper back.
The Coliseum responds sharply.
Hydra Veyne rises immediately, watching the sorceress roll onto her side.
There is no hesitation in her expression.
She approaches Morgana and catches her with a heavy forearm across the shoulders, preventing an immediate return to her feet.
Morgana attempts to turn toward her corner, but Hydra remains between her and the waiting hands of Rosalyn and Yurei Rinn.
The sorceress finally pushes herself onto one knee.
Hydra responds by grabbing her wrist and drawing her toward the Monsters' corner.
She reaches backward.
Tag!
Serpenta Veyne enters.
Hydra withdraws toward the apron as her more agile partner advances on the recovering sorceress.
Julian Ward: "A tremendous opening from Hydra Veyne. She established physical control immediately and delivered that release German suplex with considerable force. Morgana Le Faye had no opportunity to defend the maneuver, and the Monsters of Myth have already made their first tag."
Brick Brody: "That's exactly how you deal with somebody like Morgana, Julian. Don't stand around waiting for her to twist your arms into knots. Get your hands on her, lift her off the mat, and throw her. Hydra just made that look easy."
Julian Ward: "And now Serpenta Veyne enters. The Monsters appear determined to maintain a rapid pace and prevent Morgana from establishing her preferred technical approach."
Brick Brody: "They've made the right start. But you can't afford to become careless around a woman like Morgana. One mistake, and that whole advantage can disappear."
Minute 2
Serpenta Veyne approaches the recovering Morgana Le Faye with remarkable speed.
The sorceress rises near the centre of the ring.
But before she can establish another hold, Serpenta springs forward.
SWINGING HURRICANRANA!
The agile competitor catches Morgana around the head with both legs and swings through the movement.
The sorceress is thrown across the canvas!
Serpenta lands cleanly and immediately looks toward her corner.
Hydra Veyne moves through the ropes.
Medussa Nemesis follows!
THE MONSTERS OF MYTH SWARM THEIR OPPONENT!
"Honest" Abe immediately steps forward, demanding that the illegal competitors return to their corner.
But the three women are already moving.
Hydra catches Morgana as the sorceress struggles upright.
She traps both arms behind the upper body.
DOUBLE UNDERHOOK SUPLEX!
Morgana is lifted and driven into the canvas!
The impact leaves her momentarily stunned.
Medussa Nemesis immediately advances from the opposite side.
She lowers her shoulder.
And charges!
SPEAR!
The collision drives Morgana violently backward!
The Coliseum reacts with a mixture of surprise and alarm at the rapid combination.
Three women.
Three devastating maneuvers.
All directed toward the same opponent.
Rosalyn steps through the ropes, furious at the assault.
Yurei Rinn moves forward as well.
But "Honest" Abe immediately orders both women back, determined to restore control before the contest descends into a six-woman brawl.
Meanwhile, Morgana refuses to remain down.
As Serpenta moves toward her again, the sorceress suddenly catches the younger competitor around the head.
DDT!
Serpenta Veyne is driven face-first into the canvas!
The audience erupts.
Morgana releases the hold and rolls away, struggling to regain her balance after absorbing the three-woman assault.
Hydra and Medussa retreat toward their corner as the referee finally restores order.
Serpenta pushes herself onto one knee, clutching her head.
Across the ring, Morgana rises slowly.
Her expression has changed.
The initial shock of the Monsters' attack has disappeared.
In its place is something considerably colder.
At ringside, Lord Kurogami watches the developing confrontation with a measured expression.
Julian Ward: "An extraordinary sequence from the Monsters of Myth! Serpenta Veyne opened with the swinging hurricanrana, Hydra Veyne followed with the double underhook suplex, and Medussa Nemesis delivered that crushing Spear. But Morgana Le Faye has somehow responded with a DDT!"
Brick Brody: "Now THAT was a beating, Julian! The Monsters hit her from three different directions before the referee could get anybody out of the ring. I thought Morgana was finished right there!"
Julian Ward: "But she found an opening against Serpenta and connected with the DDT. That counterattack may have been essential to keeping her team in this contest."
Brick Brody: "And that tells you why Morgana is dangerous. You can throw her around, you can knock her down, but if you give her even one clean opening, she can turn the entire fight around. The Monsters had better finish what they started."
Minute 3
Serpenta Veyne rises near the centre of the ring.
The effects of Morgana's DDT are still apparent, but the agile competitor refuses to surrender the momentum established by her teammates.
She accelerates toward the ropes.
Rebounds.
And springs toward the sorceress!
SWINGING HURRICANRANA!
Serpenta catches Morgana around the head with both legs!
The movement sends the sorceress tumbling across the canvas!
The Coliseum reacts sharply.
Serpenta rises immediately, convinced she has regained the advantage.
She moves toward Morgana, reaching down to pull her upright.
But the sorceress is waiting.
As Serpenta closes the distance, Morgana catches her extended arm.
She twists beneath the grip.
Turns sharply.
And drags the Monster of Myth toward the canvas!
SORCERESS'S EMBRACE!
MORGANA LE FAYE HAS LOCKED IN HER SUBMISSION!
The sorceress traps Serpenta in a punishing hold, controlling her upper body while applying tremendous pressure through the captured arm and shoulder.
Serpenta cries out immediately.
She attempts to twist free.
But Morgana tightens the hold.
Hydra Veyne rushes toward the ropes.
Medussa Nemesis moves to enter.
But neither woman can reach her partner before "Honest" Abe drops beside the trapped competitor.
"Honest" Abe: "DO YOU SUBMIT?"
Serpenta attempts to escape again.
Morgana draws back harder.
The pressure increases.
Serpenta reaches desperately toward the ropes.
They are too far away!
Morgana refuses to release the hold.
SERPENTA VEYNE TAPS OUT!
THE BELL RINGS!
THE MATCH IS OVER!
The Coliseum erupts in surprise!
THREE MINUTES!
MORGANA LE FAYE HAS FORCED SERPENTA VEYNE TO SUBMIT!
Morgana releases the hold immediately and rises to one knee.
Serpenta rolls onto her side, clutching her arm and shoulder.
Hydra Veyne and Medussa Nemesis enter the ring, but the decision has already been made.
"Honest" Abe moves between the competitors.
He signals toward the timekeeper.
The result stands.
Julian Ward: "SORCERESS'S EMBRACE! Morgana Le Faye has forced Serpenta Veyne to submit! An extraordinary reversal of momentum! The Monsters of Myth dominated much of the opening two minutes with their coordinated assault, but Morgana found the submission and ended this contest in just three minutes!"
Brick Brody: "And that, Julian, is why I told you the Monsters couldn't afford to make a mistake! They had her beaten down. They hit her with a hurricanrana, a suplex, a Spear, everything! But Serpenta got too close one time, Morgana caught that arm, and suddenly the whole match was over!"
Julian Ward: "A remarkable demonstration of technical efficiency from the legendary sorceress. Rosalyn and Yurei Rinn never needed to enter the contest. Morgana Le Faye endured the opening attack and secured the decisive submission herself. The victory belongs to her entire team, but the finish was entirely her achievement."
THE OFFICIAL DECISION
Louie Linville steps into the centre of the ring.
Louie Linville: "Ladies and gentlemen... the winners of this contest, by SUBMISSION in the THIRD MINUTE..."
The Coliseum responds.
Louie Linville: "ROSALYN THE QUEEN OF THORNS... YUREI RINN... and MORGANA LE FAYE!"
"Honest" Abe raises Morgana's arm.
The sorceress accepts the victory with an expression of cold satisfaction.
Rosalyn the Queen of Thorns enters the ring and approaches her partner.
She studies Serpenta Veyne, who is being helped upright by Hydra and Medussa.
Then she turns toward Morgana.
Rosalyn the Queen of Thorns: "An efficient conclusion."
Morgana Le Faye allows the faintest smile.
Morgana Le Faye: "They mistook aggression for control."
She looks toward the retreating Monsters.
Morgana Le Faye: "A common mistake."
Yurei Rinn joins the celebration, standing beside the two members of Thorn and Crown.
At ringside, Lord Kurogami watches the victorious trio with a measured expression.
He offers a restrained nod toward Yurei.
The three women raise their arms together.
Across the ring, Hydra Veyne looks furious.
Medussa Nemesis stands beside her, clearly dissatisfied that their early advantage produced nothing more than a rapid defeat.
Serpenta Veyne continues holding her arm as the Monsters retreat toward the ropes.
They had established control.
They had overwhelmed their opponent.
But one moment of technical precision proved decisive.
Julian Ward: "An unexpectedly swift conclusion to a contest that appeared, for much of its opening, to favor the Monsters of Myth. Their three-woman combination was punishing, but Morgana Le Faye demonstrated that a submission specialist requires only one opportunity to change the outcome. A significant victory for Thorn and Crown and Yurei Rinn."
Brick Brody: "And there's your lesson, Julian. You can spend all night showing everybody how powerful your team is. But if you don't finish the job, somebody like Morgana can make you pay in seconds. Serpenta found that out the hard way."
Julian Ward: "The result reinforces the dangers of underestimating technical experience. The Monsters of Myth possessed the stronger opening, but Morgana's submission proved decisive. A reminder that physical dominance and victory are not always the same thing."
RESULT: ROSALYN THE QUEEN OF THORNS, MORGANA LE FAYE & YUREI RINN DEFEAT HYDRA VEYNE, MEDUSSA NEMESIS & SERPENTA VEYNE BY SUBMISSION IN THE 3RD MINUTE AFTER MORGANA LE FAYE FORCES SERPENTA VEYNE TO SUBMIT TO THE SORCERESS'S EMBRACE.
The camera returns to the ring for one final image.
Morgana Le Faye stands in the centre, her arm raised.
Rosalyn and Yurei Rinn stand beside her.
At ringside, Lord Kurogami remains composed, watching his associate celebrate the victory.
On the opposite side of the ring, the Monsters of Myth retreat toward the entrance, their disappointment unmistakable.
The final image lingers upon Morgana.
Her expression is calm.
Almost indifferent.
As though the outcome had never truly been in doubt.
The screen fades to black.
THORN AND CROWN STAND VICTORIOUS.
