1. SHOW OPENING

A soft, haunting musical swell begins—glassy chimes over low strings. Snow drifts across a spotlighted runway that fades into the Northern Belles ring. The Northern Lights shimmer overhead like silk being pulled across the sky.

Voice-over, confident and elegant, with steel underneath:
“In the North… beauty is not a weakness.”

“It is power.”

“It is discipline.”

“It is danger wrapped in grace.”

The NORTHERN BELLES logo forms in frost across the screen. For one perfect second, it glows with icy gold light.

Then the ice cracks.

Voice-over:
“Welcome… to the Northern Belles.”

SIGNATURE MONTAGE

Queen of the North Champion — Polly Mason

Polly Mason stands beneath icy white light, the Queen of the North Championship over her shoulder. The Final Crescendo lands. Three is counted. Polly raises the title with an almost disbelieving smile.

Voice-over:
“Some victories prove you never stopped becoming.”

Blonde Bombshells — Alice, Dorothy, and Rapunzel

Alice and Dorothy strike in perfect synchronization, the North Star Tag Team Championships shining between them. Rapunzel stands proudly alongside them as the trio raises their hands.

Voice-over:
“Together, they shine brighter than gold.”

Lilith

Crimson mist surrounds Lilith. A Dread Kick drops her opponent. She slowly turns toward the camera, composed and dangerous, three crimson lights burning behind her.

Voice-over:
“A fallen queen does not surrender her throne.”

Grizelda

Green-black smoke coils around Grizelda as she stands over a bubbling cauldron, smiling wickedly. A flash shows the Witch’s Spike Kick before magical flame fills the screen.

Voice-over:
“Some women do not seek power. They dare others to survive it.”

Voice-over:
“Here, the cold does not crown you…”

“It tests you.”

“It exposes you.”

“And only the strongest…”

“Shine.”

The NORTHERN BELLES logo slams onto the screen in icy gold and steel.

Voice-over, final:
“This… is NORTHERN BELLES.”

2. CROWD SHOT AND WELCOMING

The cameras sweep across a packed North Pole Arena, the crowd already on its feet beneath the blue-white glow of the Northern Belles lighting rig. Signs rise throughout the stands as the broadcast settles on the commentary desk.

At center sits KC Rogers, composed but visibly energized by the atmosphere. Vera Steele sits beside her, headset already in place, studying notes spread across the desk.

There is a third chair tonight.

Seated beside KC is Amara Bell, dressed in a tailored dark blazer over a fitted blouse, her shoulder-length black hair styled in polished loose waves. She wears a headset comfortably, but without any attempt to match the enthusiasm surrounding her.

KC Rogers: Welcome to Northern Belles, live tonight from North Pole Arena! I’m KC Rogers, alongside Vera Steele, and tonight we have somebody new joining us at the desk.

Vera Steele: Somebody who has spent a great deal of time studying this division from outside the ropes.

KC Rogers: Journalist, analyst, and someone who has never been particularly shy about offering an opinion, Amara Bell joins us for the entire broadcast tonight. Amara, welcome to Northern Belles.

Amara Bell: Thank you, KC. I’ve watched the division. I’ve written about the division. Tonight I get to watch it from approximately six feet closer.

KC Rogers: That almost sounded enthusiastic.

Amara Bell: Don’t get used to it.

Vera Steele: I think you two are going to get along wonderfully.

KC Rogers: I was afraid you’d say that.

The camera pulls back briefly as the crowd cheers again.

KC Rogers: It has already been an extraordinary weekend across NPCW. At Age of Ruin, the Blonde Bombshells retained the North Star Tag Team Championship against the War Council.

Vera Steele: A significant defense. The War Council brought physicality and pressure, but the Bombshells maintained their structure. They didn’t get drawn into fighting somebody else’s match.

Amara Bell: And now they have another successful defense on their record. That matters more to me than how impressive it looked.

KC Rogers: You really do remove all the romance from this sport, don’t you?

Amara Bell: Someone has to.

KC Rogers: And then last night on Polar Power 075, we saw two major developments involving Northern Belles competitors. Valka defeated Ursa Titania and regained the Aurora Championship.

Vera Steele: That result changes the competitive picture immediately. Valka lost that championship to Ursa, adjusted, came back into the rematch and corrected the problems that cost her the first time.

Amara Bell: That is what champions are supposed to do.

KC Rogers: You say that like regaining a championship is routine.

Amara Bell: It isn’t routine. But if you want to be treated as exceptional, eventually you have to do exceptional things more than once.

KC Rogers: There it is.

Vera Steele: She did warn us.

KC Rogers: And in last night’s main event, Polly Mason successfully defended the Queen of the North Championship against Lilith.

The crowd reacts loudly at the mention of Polly Mason.

KC Rogers: But that result comes with controversy because Velora Synn interfered and directly cost Lilith the match.

Vera Steele: Which means the result stands, but the circumstances cannot be ignored. Polly Mason retained the championship. Lilith also has legitimate grounds to argue she was denied the opportunity to finish that match on her own terms.

Amara Bell: Both things can be true.

KC Rogers: That almost sounded reasonable.

Amara Bell: I’m occasionally capable of it.

KC Rogers: Occasionally.

Amara Bell: Don’t push your luck.

KC Rogers: And after everything that happened this weekend, tonight’s Northern Belles card is absolutely loaded.

The arena screens flash through images of the competitors scheduled for tonight.

KC Rogers: We begin with the fourth and final Battle Royal determining qualification for the Women’s Convergent Championship opportunity.

Vera Steele: Three qualifiers have already been established. Tonight decides the final woman who moves forward, and Battle Royals punish impatience more than almost any other match type.

Amara Bell: They also expose people who mistake aggression for awareness. You can dominate ten minutes and still lose because you forgot someone was standing behind you.

KC Rogers: Later tonight, the rivalry between two very different partnerships continues as La Bruja Muerte and Grizelda face Ruby Howl and Scarlett Howl.

Vera Steele: That match is going to be physical. The Howl sisters bring speed and coordination. La Bruja Muerte and Grizelda bring experience, disruption, and a willingness to make the match uncomfortable.

Amara Bell: I’m interested in the Howls tonight. People keep talking about their potential. Potential is what commentators say when the résumé is still empty.

KC Rogers: They’ve barely had time to build one.

Amara Bell: Then tonight seems like a good place to start.

KC Rogers: We will also witness the Northern Belles debut of the Beautiful Thorns, Bella Aurelia and Holly Vale.

Vera Steele: Both women arrive with momentum, and they already understand how the other operates. That makes their transition into tag competition worth watching closely.

Amara Bell: Debuts are easy to romanticize. Everyone is undefeated before their first match.

KC Rogers: I can already tell this is going to be a long evening.

Amara Bell: We’ve only been on air a few minutes.

KC Rogers: Exactly.

A graphic flashes across the screen showing Fairest Hunters opposite Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver.

KC Rogers: We also have the Fairest Hunters facing Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver.

Vera Steele: That is a fascinating stylistic match. The Fairest Hunters are at their best when they can control positioning and isolate an opponent. Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver are far more dangerous when the pace becomes unpredictable.

Amara Bell: Then the question is simple. Who gets to dictate the match before the match dictates them?

KC Rogers: And our main event tonight—

The crowd rises again as the final graphic appears.

KC Rogers: Dr. Violetta Voss goes one-on-one with Moonshadow.

Vera Steele: That could become a very technical contest, but for completely different reasons. Voss wants control. She wants a match to become methodical. Moonshadow succeeds when opponents cannot predict where the next opening comes from.

Amara Bell: I want to see what happens when Moonshadow can’t disappear into uncertainty. If Voss forces her to wrestle a disciplined match, then we may learn something important.

KC Rogers: Or maybe Moonshadow proves that discipline only gets you so far when you can’t catch the woman standing across from you.

Amara Bell: There it is.

KC Rogers: What?

Amara Bell: Emotional investment.

KC Rogers: It’s called believing in the competitors.

Amara Bell: I believe they’re competitors too. I just wait for evidence before I decide what that means.

Vera Steele: I’m beginning to reconsider my earlier statement about the two of you getting along wonderfully.

KC Rogers: Too late now. We’ve got a full night ahead of us, the final Convergent qualifier is about to be decided, and Northern Belles is underway from North Pole Arena!

3. MATCH 1

The camera returns to ringside as the Northern Belles graphics sweep across the screen. Inside North Pole Arena, the ring has been cleared for the fourth and final Women’s Convergent Championship qualifying Battle Royal.

KC Rogers: This is the final opportunity. Three women have already earned their places through the previous qualifying Battle Royals. Tonight, one more woman joins them.

Vera Steele: Twenty competitors. One survivor. There is no pinfall and there is no submission elimination. You go over the top rope, both feet touch the floor, and your night is finished.

Amara Bell: Which means being the best wrestler in the ring and being the best Battle Royal wrestler are not necessarily the same thing.

KC Rogers: You really do have a way of stripping everything down to its coldest possible interpretation.

Amara Bell: It saves time.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the fourth and final Women’s Convergent Championship Qualifying Battle Royal! Twenty competitors will enter. Eliminations occur when a competitor is thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the arena floor. The final woman remaining will advance!

The crowd swells as the first entrance begins.

Bridget O'Hare strides onto the stage representing the Iron Ring Academy, bouncing lightly on the balls of her feet before raising one fist toward the crowd. She wastes little time making her way to the ring.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Iron Ring Academy, Bridget O'Hare!

KC Rogers: Bridget O'Hare has developed quickly at the Academy.

Vera Steele: This match rewards awareness. She cannot afford to focus entirely on whoever is standing directly in front of her.

A darker presentation follows as Corvina Ash emerges beneath muted arena lighting, her expression controlled and severe.

Celeste Orion: Also representing the Iron Ring Academy, Corvina Ash!

Amara Bell: Two Academy competitors already. Eventually development has to become performance.

KC Rogers: Apparently tonight is everyone's examination.

Amara Bell: It usually is.

The arena shifts into deeper crimson tones as Crimson Vane appears. She surveys the ring before beginning a measured walk down the aisle.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Polar Division, Crimson Vane!

Vera Steele: Crimson Vane is dangerous here because she is patient. She does not have to manufacture action.

Gilda the Greedy follows, gesturing toward herself and glaring toward the ring as the crowd jeers.

Celeste Orion: Competing as an independent, Gilda the Greedy!

The eerie figure of Glint Grimm emerges next, staring toward the growing collection of competitors already waiting inside the ropes.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Polar Division, Glint Grimm!

Then comes Holly Vale.

The reaction grows noticeably warmer as Holly steps through the curtain. She acknowledges the audience before looking toward the ring with a focused expression.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Iron Ring Academy, Holly Vale!

KC Rogers: And remember, this is only the beginning of Holly Vale's night. Later tonight she joins Bella Aurelia for the Northern Belles debut of the Beautiful Thorns.

Amara Bell: Then she has a decision to make. Spend everything chasing this opportunity, or remember she has another match later.

Vera Steele: In a Battle Royal, trying to conserve too much energy can get you eliminated before energy becomes relevant.

Royal music fills the arena as Lady Guinevere enters with composed confidence.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Mythic Division, Lady Guinevere!

Moments later, Maid Marion receives another strong reaction as she enters and immediately locks eyes with several competitors already inside.

Celeste Orion: Also representing the Mythic Division, Maid Marion!

The atmosphere changes sharply for Morgana Le Faye. She moves slowly onto the stage, surveying the ring as though choosing targets rather than opponents.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Mythic Division, Morgana Le Faye!

Vera Steele: Morgana is someone I would avoid early if possible. She is dangerous enough without giving her opportunities to conserve energy.

Patchwork Paula skips onto the stage with an unpredictable rhythm before stopping suddenly and staring directly toward the ring.

Celeste Orion: Competing as an independent, Patchwork Paula!

A mechanical pulse replaces the music.

Prototype LEXA 9 marches through the entrance with almost no wasted movement, shoulders squared and eyes fixed forward.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Iron Ring Academy, Prototype LEXA 9!

Amara Bell: There is somebody built for this format.

KC Rogers: Power matters, certainly.

Amara Bell: Not just power. No hesitation.

The mood grows darker as Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang emerges representing HCW.

Celeste Orion: Representing HCW, Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang!

Vera Steele: Experienced, opportunistic, and very comfortable allowing other people to make mistakes first.

Sorina follows from the Iron Ring Academy, moving with considerably more energy as she reaches the ring.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Iron Ring Academy, Sorina!

The unpredictable Thimble Hex arrives next, fingers twitching as she studies the crowded ring.

Celeste Orion: Competing as an independent, Thimble Hex!

Then the arena erupts.

The newly regained Aurora Championship gleams around the waist of Valka as she steps onto the stage. She pauses beneath the lights and looks down at the title before raising her eyes toward the ring.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Polar Division, she is the Aurora Champion, Valka!

KC Rogers: What a twenty-four hours for Valka. Last night she defeated Ursa Titania and regained the Aurora Championship.

Amara Bell: And tonight nobody cares about the belt once the bell rings.

KC Rogers: Nobody?

Amara Bell: The other nineteen women certainly shouldn't.

Astrid Ironvale storms through the entrance next, slapping one forearm against the other as she approaches the ring.

Celeste Orion: Representing the Polar Division, Astrid Ironvale!

Heavy footsteps announce Hilda Stormhoof, who marches toward the ring with considerable physical presence.

Celeste Orion: Also representing the Polar Division, Hilda Stormhoof!

Talia Nocturne enters beneath darker lighting, taking her time as she evaluates the ring.

Celeste Orion: Representing HCW, Talia Nocturne!

Then the energy changes.

Rhea Quinn steps onto the stage representing the False Light Forge, already talking before she reaches the aisle.

Rhea Quinn: Look at all of you! Twenty women and not one of you belongs in my way!

The crowd answers loudly.

KC Rogers: Well, we were told Rhea Quinn might have something to say tonight.

Amara Bell: Apparently she has several things to say.

Rhea Quinn reaches ringside, points directly into the ring and continues shouting.

Rhea Quinn: You hear me? Every single one of you! Move when I tell you to move!

Celeste Orion: Representing the False Light Forge, Rhea Quinn!

Vera Steele: Talking is not necessarily a problem. Talking while losing track of nineteen other competitors absolutely can be.

Finally, Anika Stahl emerges.

She pauses beside Rhea Quinn before walking down the aisle with a much calmer demeanor.

Celeste Orion: Also representing the False Light Forge, Anika Stahl!

All twenty competitors fill the ring.

The referee stands outside and checks that every competitor is inside before signaling.

The bell rings.

Chaos erupts immediately.

Hilda Stormhoof crashes into Talia Nocturne near one corner. Morgana Le Faye clubs Gilda the Greedy across the back. Bridget O'Hare catches Thimble Hex attempting to dart between bodies. Prototype LEXA 9 drives straight into Holly Vale while Crimson Vane backs toward the ropes and immediately begins watching the field rather than rushing into the nearest fight.

KC Rogers: Twenty women moving at once! There is almost no clear space anywhere inside that ring!

Vera Steele: The first thirty seconds tell you everything about positioning. The women standing near the center have room to recover. The women trapped against the ropes are already vulnerable.

Amara Bell: And Crimson Vane hasn't committed to anything yet. Smartest woman in the ring so far.

Rhea Quinn: Get off me!

Rhea Quinn drives a forearm into Sorina, turns and shouts at Prototype LEXA 9 across the ring.

Rhea Quinn: LEXA! You want somebody? Come find me!

KC Rogers: Rhea Quinn is challenging practically everybody within hearing distance.

Amara Bell: That's a large group in an arena.

Near the ropes, Prototype LEXA 9 catches Holly Vale, hoists her high and drives her down with a Dominator.

KC Rogers: Dominator by Prototype LEXA 9!

Holly Vale rolls toward the ropes trying to recover, but LEXA 9 is already behind her. LEXA drags Holly upright, drives her chest-first against the top rope, lifts from underneath and forces her over.

Holly Vale lands on the floor with both feet.

KC Rogers: Holly Vale is out! Prototype LEXA 9 has the first elimination!

Vera Steele: Holly never got enough separation after the Dominator. That is the danger here. A move that would normally create a pinfall opportunity instead creates an elimination opportunity.

Amara Bell: And now Holly Vale has plenty of time to prepare for the Beautiful Thorns debut later tonight.

KC Rogers: You make that sound almost helpful.

Amara Bell: I didn't say she wanted the help.

Back inside, Thimble Hex attempts to wrap herself around Bridget O'Hare from behind, but Bridget twists free and catches both legs.

Vera Steele: Bridget has the legs.

Bridget O'Hare turns Thimble Hex into the Clover Hearth, wrenching the modified cloverleaf long enough to drain the fight from Thimble.

KC Rogers: Clover Hearth! But remember, submissions do not eliminate anybody here!

Bridget releases the hold, grabs Thimble beneath the arms and hauls her toward the ropes.

Thimble Hex tries to hook the top strand, but Bridget drives forward and pushes her over.

Both feet hit the floor.

KC Rogers: Thimble Hex eliminated by Bridget O'Hare!

Across the ring, Hilda Stormhoof has Talia Nocturne trapped between two bodies. Hilda clears them away with heavy forearms and pulls Talia inward.

Hilda Stormhoof powers Talia Nocturne up and plants her with a Package Piledriver.

The crowd reacts sharply.

Vera Steele: That is enormous damage this early.

Hilda drags the stunned Talia toward the ropes, lifts her by the waist and tips her over the top.

Talia Nocturne falls to the floor.

KC Rogers: Talia Nocturne is gone!

Amara Bell: That is efficient. Damage first. Elimination second. No unnecessary celebration.

Rhea Quinn: Is that all you've got?

Rhea Quinn shoves Corvina Ash backward, then turns and points toward Hilda Stormhoof.

Rhea Quinn: You! Big girl! I'm still here!

KC Rogers: Rhea Quinn may be attempting to antagonize the entire field.

Vera Steele: In this match, that is tactically questionable.

Near another corner, Gilda the Greedy rakes at Morgana Le Faye's face and attempts to shove her toward the ropes.

Morgana plants her feet, reverses position and snakes an arm around Gilda's neck.

She drops Gilda into a Ground Dragon Sleeper.

Gilda claws at Morgana's arm.

KC Rogers: Morgana Le Faye is draining the strength out of Gilda the Greedy!

Vera Steele: Again, the hold itself cannot eliminate her. But it can take away the strength needed to resist the ropes.

Morgana releases, pulls Gilda to her feet and marches her directly toward the top rope.

Gilda grabs the strand with both hands.

Morgana clubs one arm loose, then the other, and drives Gilda over the top.

Both feet touch the floor.

KC Rogers: Gilda the Greedy has been eliminated!

Amara Bell: Morgana understood the rule perfectly. She didn't waste another second after the sleeper did its job.

Near center ring, Lady Guinevere trades forearms with Anika Stahl. Guinevere attempts to create distance, but Anika steps through and secures the waist.

Anika Stahl deadlifts Lady Guinevere and drives her down with the PSLAM Breaker.

KC Rogers: What power from Anika Stahl!

Rhea Quinn: That's it, Anika! Get her out!

Anika rises and pulls Guinevere toward the ropes. Guinevere attempts to catch Anika with a forearm, but Anika absorbs it, lifts again and dumps Guinevere over the top.

Both feet touch.

KC Rogers: Lady Guinevere has been eliminated by Anika Stahl!

Vera Steele: Very clean. Anika did not allow Guinevere enough time to recover her balance.

Amara Bell: Rhea Quinn seemed happier about that than Anika did.

Rhea Quinn suddenly turns and finds Prototype LEXA 9 directly in front of her.

The two stare at each other.

Rhea Quinn: Took you long enough.

LEXA 9 swings.

Rhea ducks and fires a forearm.

LEXA barely moves.

Rhea Quinn: Fine. Again.

Rhea unloads another forearm, then a third. LEXA catches her, lifts her across the shoulders and drives a knee violently into Rhea's abdomen with a Fireman's Carry Gutbuster.

KC Rogers: Rhea Quinn just got folded across the knee!

Vera Steele: The talking stopped.

Amara Bell: Temporarily.

LEXA 9 drags Rhea toward the ropes.

Rhea Quinn: Put me down! I said put me down!

LEXA powers her upward.

Rhea grabs the top rope with both hands and kicks desperately.

Rhea Quinn: No! No! No!

LEXA pries one hand away, then drives a shoulder into Rhea's back.

Rhea Quinn tumbles over the top and hits the floor.

Both feet land.

KC Rogers: Rhea Quinn has been eliminated by Prototype LEXA 9!

Rhea Quinn: Are you kidding me?

Rhea immediately stands at ringside, pointing furiously into the ring.

Rhea Quinn: LEXA! You didn't beat me! You threw me out!

Amara Bell: That is the match.

KC Rogers: Somebody might want to explain that to Rhea Quinn.

Vera Steele: Preferably from a safe distance.

Officials guide Rhea away while she continues shouting back toward the ring.

Rhea Quinn: I'm not finished with you!

Inside, Hilda Stormhoof charges toward Anika Stahl.

Hilda drives Anika backward with a shoulder, but Anika catches her on the rebound.

The crowd rises as Anika Stahl deadlifts the larger Hilda Stormhoof.

KC Rogers: Incredible strength!

Anika drives Hilda down with another PSLAM Breaker.

Vera Steele: That lift cost Anika energy, but it gave her complete control of the next position.

Anika pulls Hilda toward the ropes. Hilda fights back with a heavy elbow, but Anika ducks underneath, drives forward and powers Hilda over the top.

Hilda Stormhoof crashes to the floor.

KC Rogers: Hilda Stormhoof is gone! Anika Stahl has eliminated another competitor!

Across the ring, Sorina catches Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang with a running strike and attempts to force her toward the ropes.

Selena hooks the leg, twists underneath and takes Sorina down.

Selena cinches in a Cloverleaf.

KC Rogers: Sorina is trapped!

Vera Steele: The purpose here is not a submission. Watch Sorina's legs. She is spending energy trying to reach ropes that cannot save her.

Selena releases.

She grabs Sorina by the waist, pulls her upright and sends her toward the ropes.

Sorina catches herself.

Selena immediately follows with a forearm to the back and lifts.

Sorina goes over.

Both feet hit.

KC Rogers: Sorina eliminated by Selena Blackfang!

The ring is beginning to open.

Patchwork Paula darts unpredictably between Crimson Vane and Astrid Ironvale, laughing as both women turn toward her.

Patchwork Paula swings wildly at Crimson.

Crimson Vane catches the arm and drops immediately into Vane's Vice.

KC Rogers: Vane's Vice! Fujiwara Armbar!

Vera Steele: Paula cannot submit her way out of this, but that arm is becoming useless for holding the ropes.

Crimson releases.

Patchwork Paula scrambles toward the corner using one arm.

Crimson follows, drives a knee into the midsection and uses the damaged arm to turn Paula toward the top rope.

Paula tries to grab on.

Her arm gives.

Crimson Vane sends her over.

Both feet touch.

KC Rogers: Patchwork Paula is eliminated!

Amara Bell: That is the first elimination tonight where the setup directly took away the one thing the opponent needed to survive.

KC Rogers: Grip strength.

Amara Bell: Exactly.

Near the opposite ropes, Astrid Ironvale drives Corvina Ash backward with repeated strikes.

Astrid charges.

Corvina steps aside.

Astrid turns directly into the Ash Fall DDT.

KC Rogers: Ash Fall DDT by Corvina Ash!

Corvina pulls Astrid up slowly.

Astrid attempts to fire one desperate forearm.

Corvina blocks it, spins her around and drives her chest against the ropes.

One hard lift sends Astrid Ironvale over the top.

Both feet hit.

KC Rogers: Astrid Ironvale eliminated by Corvina Ash!

The field has now been cut in half.

Remaining inside are Bridget O'Hare, Corvina Ash, Crimson Vane, Glint Grimm, Maid Marion, Morgana Le Faye, Prototype LEXA 9, Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang, Valka, and Anika Stahl.

KC Rogers: Ten remain! Half the field is gone!

Vera Steele: And now the match changes. There is space. There are fewer blind-side attacks. Positioning becomes easier to read and mistakes become harder to excuse.

Amara Bell: Now we find out who benefited from chaos and who actually knows what to do without it.

Bridget O'Hare charges toward Valka, trying to catch the Aurora Champion before she can reset.

Bridget lands two forearms.

Valka absorbs the third, catches Bridget around the waist and turns sharply.

Valka drives Bridget O'Hare across her knee with a Pendulum Backbreaker.

KC Rogers: Pendulum Backbreaker!

Valka rises and pulls Bridget toward the ropes.

Bridget digs her heels into the canvas.

Valka changes angle, drives a forearm into the back and lifts beneath the thigh.

Bridget O'Hare spills over the top and lands on the floor.

KC Rogers: Bridget O'Hare is eliminated by Valka!

Vera Steele: Valka waited until Bridget's resistance shifted backward. Once Bridget planted herself against the throw, Valka redirected the force upward.

Moments later, Prototype LEXA 9 grabs Crimson Vane from behind.

Crimson immediately drops her weight and traps one arm.

She pivots through and drags LEXA down into the Snare of Silence.

KC Rogers: Snare of Silence! Arm-trap crossface!

LEXA 9 powers upward.

Crimson maintains control long enough to force LEXA onto one knee before releasing and slipping behind.

LEXA turns.

Crimson kicks the leg, grabs the trapped arm again and steers LEXA toward the ropes.

LEXA fights the lift.

Vera Steele: LEXA still has the strength advantage, but that arm has been compromised.

Crimson Vane drives a shoulder beneath LEXA's center of gravity and forces her upward.

Prototype LEXA 9 tips over the top rope.

She lands on both feet.

KC Rogers: Prototype LEXA 9 has been eliminated by Crimson Vane!

Amara Bell: LEXA looked dominant early. Dominant is not the same as durable.

KC Rogers: You have absolutely no interest in letting anybody enjoy a strong performance.

Amara Bell: Strong performances are enjoyable. Results are more useful.

The crowd begins to rally behind Valka, but Maid Marion sees the Aurora Champion occupied with Morgana Le Faye.

Maid Marion attacks from the side.

Valka turns into a forearm.

Maid Marion traps one arm, hooks the head and drives Valka down with an Arm-Trap Neckbreaker.

KC Rogers: Maid Marion just caught Valka!

Maid Marion immediately pulls the champion toward the ropes.

Valka fights up and lands a short elbow.

Maid Marion answers with another strike, forces Valka onto the apron side of the top rope and shoves hard.

Valka loses her grip and drops.

Both feet hit the floor.

KC Rogers: The Aurora Champion is out! Maid Marion eliminates Valka!

The crowd reacts loudly.

Amara Bell: And the championship around Valka's waist this morning did exactly nothing for her tonight.

KC Rogers: She competed less than twenty-four hours after regaining it.

Amara Bell: True. That explains fatigue. It doesn't reverse an elimination.

Vera Steele: And Maid Marion recognized the opening immediately. That was excellent situational awareness.

Maid Marion barely has time to turn before Morgana Le Faye strikes.

Morgana pulls Maid Marion backward and locks in the Ground Dragon Sleeper.

KC Rogers: Morgana has her!

Maid Marion fights desperately, reaching for the ropes.

Morgana releases before Marion can regain balance.

She grabs Maid Marion around the waist and drives her forward.

Maid Marion catches the top rope.

Morgana lands a forearm between the shoulders.

A second.

Then a third.

Maid Marion loses her grip and falls over the top.

Both feet touch.

KC Rogers: Morgana Le Faye eliminates Maid Marion!

Vera Steele: That's what makes the Battle Royal so unforgiving. Maid Marion scores the biggest elimination of her night and has no recovery window afterward.

Amara Bell: Celebration is expensive.

Across the ring, Glint Grimm and Morgana Le Faye collide.

Glint rakes a forearm across Morgana's jaw and drives her backward.

Morgana catches Glint reaching in and locks her into the Sorceress's Embrace.

Glint Grimm struggles, twisting her body and attempting to slip free.

KC Rogers: Glint Grimm trapped by Morgana!

Vera Steele: This is about fatigue now. Every second in that hold takes something away.

Morgana finally releases.

Glint staggers sideways.

Morgana follows with a forearm, then another, walking Glint toward the ropes.

Glint hooks one leg around the bottom strand.

Morgana pulls her free, lifts beneath the waist and sends Glint Grimm over the top.

Both feet hit.

KC Rogers: Glint Grimm eliminated by Morgana Le Faye!

Five competitors remain.

Crimson Vane.

Corvina Ash.

Morgana Le Faye.

Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang.

Anika Stahl.

The crowd rises as each woman retreats into her own section of the ring.

KC Rogers: We are down to five.

Vera Steele: And look at the spacing. Nobody wants to be first to commit.

Amara Bell: Because everyone can finally see everyone else. There are no excuses left.

Anika Stahl makes the first move.

She charges Crimson Vane.

Crimson slips sideways.

Anika turns directly into a strike from Corvina Ash, but powers through it.

Selena Blackfang briefly helps Corvina force Anika toward the ropes.

Vera Steele: Temporary alliance.

Anika fights them both away.

Crimson Vane watches from several feet away.

Amara Bell: There. That's what I mean. Crimson isn't helping anybody until helping herself becomes necessary.

Anika Stahl turns from Corvina, and Crimson strikes.

A sharp kick lands high.

Anika staggers.

Crimson Vane follows with Widow's Howl, driving the Scorpio Rising Axe Kick down across Anika's upper body.

KC Rogers: Widow's Howl!

Anika collapses against the ropes.

Crimson grabs the legs and lifts.

Anika hooks the top strand with one arm.

Crimson shifts her grip, steps underneath and forces Anika's hips above the rope line.

Anika Stahl drops to the floor.

Both feet touch.

KC Rogers: Anika Stahl is eliminated! We are down to four!

Vera Steele: Crimson Vane waited until Anika had already spent energy fighting two other women. That wasn't passive. That was selective.

Amara Bell: Exactly.

Corvina Ash and Morgana Le Faye now trade strikes near center ring.

Corvina lands first.

Morgana answers.

Corvina attempts to grab the head for another Ash Fall DDT, but Morgana shoves her forward.

Corvina Ash reaches the ropes.

Morgana charges.

Corvina tries to sidestep.

Morgana catches her at the waist and drives her upward into the ropes.

Corvina lands on the top strand, trying desperately to stay inside.

KC Rogers: Corvina Ash is hanging on!

Morgana presses forward.

Corvina throws one elbow backward.

Then another.

Morgana absorbs it and shoves again.

Corvina Ash tumbles over.

Both feet hit.

KC Rogers: Corvina Ash has been eliminated by Morgana Le Faye!

Three remain.

Crimson Vane.

Morgana Le Faye.

Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang.

The three women circle slowly.

The pace has completely changed.

All three are breathing heavily.

KC Rogers: Three women left. After all of that chaos, this has become a completely different contest.

Vera Steele: Every movement matters now. Fatigue changes foot placement. Fatigue slows grip recovery. One mistake at the ropes ends everything.

Amara Bell: And all three women know exactly where everyone else is. No surprise eliminations now.

Morgana Le Faye attacks Crimson Vane first.

Selena Blackfang stays back.

Morgana clubs Crimson across the shoulders and forces her toward the ropes.

Crimson hooks both arms around the top strand.

Morgana drives forward.

Selena watches.

KC Rogers: Crimson is in trouble!

Amara Bell: And Selena is doing nothing.

KC Rogers: You approve?

Amara Bell: Entirely.

Crimson Vane kicks backward and catches Morgana in the knee.

Morgana releases.

Crimson turns.

Before either woman can attack again, Selena Blackfang moves.

She catches Morgana Le Faye from behind, hooks both legs and takes her down into a Cloverleaf.

KC Rogers: Selena was waiting for exactly this!

Morgana reaches forward, trying to crawl.

Vera Steele: She doesn't need the ropes to break the hold, but she needs her legs if she wants to survive an elimination.

Selena sits deeper.

Morgana pounds the canvas.

Crimson Vane remains several feet away, choosing not to interfere.

Amara Bell: And now Crimson is returning the favor.

Selena releases the Cloverleaf.

Morgana tries to rise.

Her legs buckle.

Selena Blackfang grabs her around the waist and steers her toward the ropes.

Morgana throws a back elbow.

Selena ducks.

Morgana turns.

Selena drives forward.

Morgana Le Faye goes over the top rope.

She grabs the top strand with one hand.

The crowd rises.

KC Rogers: Morgana is still hanging on!

Selena grabs the wrist.

Morgana tries to pull herself back up.

Selena pries the fingers away one by one.

Morgana Le Faye falls.

Both feet touch the floor.

KC Rogers: Morgana Le Faye is eliminated!

The bell does not ring.

Two remain.

Crimson Vane and Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang stand on opposite sides of the ring.

The audience rises.

Neither woman moves immediately.

KC Rogers: This is it. Crimson Vane. Selena Blackfang. One of these women becomes the final qualifier.

Vera Steele: Both have spent a long time in this match. Both understand the stakes. This is almost a singles match now, except there is only one finish that matters.

Amara Bell: And neither woman can afford to forget it.

Selena Blackfang steps forward first.

Crimson Vane meets her.

They lock up.

Selena forces Crimson backward.

Crimson turns the position and presses Selena toward the ropes.

Selena hooks one arm around the top strand and blocks the lift.

They separate.

KC Rogers: Neither woman willing to give up position.

Vera Steele: Look at their feet. Both are keeping their base wider now. Fatigue makes lateral movement dangerous.

Selena Blackfang fires a forearm.

Crimson Vane answers.

Selena lands another.

Crimson responds with a knee to the abdomen.

Selena doubles over.

Crimson attempts to lift.

Selena blocks.

Amara Bell: Too early.

Crimson releases immediately rather than waste energy.

KC Rogers: You think she knew that?

Amara Bell: She does now.

Selena Blackfang grabs Crimson's arm and attempts to pull her into position for another Cloverleaf setup.

Crimson kicks free.

Selena charges.

Crimson Vane catches her around the torso and throws her backward with the Hunter's Backbreaker Suplex, the Saito Suplex driving Selena hard into the canvas.

The arena erupts.

KC Rogers: Hunter's Backbreaker Suplex!

Crimson Vane remains on one knee for several seconds.

Selena Blackfang rolls toward the ropes.

Vera Steele: This is where exhaustion becomes dangerous. Crimson created the opening, but she still has to complete the elimination.

Amara Bell: And Selena is moving toward the ropes because instinct says ropes mean safety.

KC Rogers: Not tonight.

Crimson Vane rises.

She grabs Selena from behind.

Selena fires an elbow.

Crimson absorbs it.

A second elbow.

Crimson loses her grip.

Selena turns and strikes.

Crimson answers.

Both women stagger.

The crowd grows louder.

KC Rogers: Neither one has much left!

Selena Blackfang lunges.

Crimson Vane sidesteps and sends Selena chest-first into the top rope.

Selena rebounds.

Crimson catches the waist.

Selena grabs the top strand with both hands.

Vera Steele: This is the position. Selena has to keep her hips below the rope.

Crimson Vane lowers her center of gravity.

She lifts.

Selena Blackfang kicks wildly.

One foot rises above the rope.

Then the other.

Selena drapes across the top strand but refuses to release her grip.

KC Rogers: Selena is still holding on!

Crimson pushes upward.

Selena shifts onto the apron side while still clutching the top rope.

Amara Bell: She's not eliminated yet.

Selena Blackfang tries to swing one leg back through.

Crimson Vane catches the boot.

Selena pulls.

Crimson refuses to let go.

Selena reaches toward her with one hand.

That leaves only one hand gripping the rope.

Vera Steele: Bad decision.

Crimson Vane surges forward.

Selena Blackfang loses the remaining grip.

She falls from the apron.

Both feet hit the arena floor.

The bell rings.

KC Rogers: Crimson Vane has done it!

The audience erupts as Crimson Vane collapses to both knees inside the ring, breathing heavily.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and the fourth qualifier for the Women’s Convergent Championship, CRIMSON VANE!

CRIMSON VANE WINS WOMEN’S CONVERGENT CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING BATTLE ROYAL 4 BY LAST ELIMINATING SELENA "WIDOW'S FANG" BLACKFANG AT 50:00.

KC Rogers: Fifty minutes. Twenty competitors. And when there was nobody left to hide behind and nowhere left to recover, Crimson Vane found one final answer.

Vera Steele: Her positioning was excellent throughout the match. She did not chase unnecessary confrontations, she damaged arms before forcing opponents toward the ropes, and in the final stages she repeatedly allowed other competitors to spend energy before committing herself. That is intelligent Battle Royal wrestling.

Amara Bell: And now comes the part that matters.

KC Rogers: She just survived nineteen other women. What more exactly would you like?

Amara Bell: For her to turn qualification into something meaningful. Winning tonight proves she deserved to advance tonight. It does not guarantee anything beyond that.

KC Rogers: Could you possibly allow her thirty seconds to enjoy this?

Amara Bell: She can enjoy it as long as she wants.

KC Rogers: How generous.

Amara Bell: I thought so.

Vera Steele: We are one match into this broadcast.

KC Rogers: I am painfully aware of that.

Inside the ring, Crimson Vane climbs onto the middle rope and raises one arm as the crowd acknowledges the final qualifier. At ringside, Selena Blackfang looks back toward the ring before walking slowly toward the aisle, while Crimson remains standing beneath the Northern Belles lights having secured the final place in the Women’s Convergent Championship field.

4. THE QUEEN STANDS READY

The broadcast cuts backstage to the Northern Belles interview area, where the blue-white division emblem glows behind Alexandra Jones.

Standing beside her is the reigning Queen of the North Champion, Polly Mason.

The championship rests over Polly's shoulder. She is still carrying some of the physical evidence of last night's title defense, but there is no celebration in her posture. She looks composed, alert and very aware that one successful defense has done nothing to quiet the division around her.

Alexandra Jones: Polly, last night on Polar Power you successfully defended the Queen of the North Championship against Lilith, but the finish has already become one of the biggest talking points of the weekend. Velora Synn became involved and struck Lilith, and that interference ultimately cost Lilith the match.

Polly Mason glances down briefly at the championship before looking back toward Alexandra.

Polly Mason: I know what happened.

Alexandra Jones: Does it bother you?

Polly Mason: Of course it bothers me.

Polly adjusts the championship on her shoulder.

Polly Mason: I wanted to beat Lilith because I was better than Lilith. I didn't ask Velora Synn to come down there. I didn't need Velora Synn to come down there. And I certainly didn't know she was going to get involved.

Alexandra Jones: But you did benefit from it.

Polly Mason: I did.

There is no hesitation in the answer.

Polly Mason: I'm not going to stand here and pretend otherwise because everybody saw it. Velora hit her. Lilith got caught, and I finished the match.

Alexandra Jones: So if Lilith says the championship should be hers?

Polly Mason: Then Lilith can say it.

Polly pauses.

Polly Mason: But she needs to say the rest of it too.

Alexandra Jones: Which is?

Polly Mason: Lilith has made a lot of enemies.

The crowd inside the arena can be heard reacting through the backstage feed.

Polly Mason: That's what happens when you spend enough time treating everybody around you like they're disposable. Eventually somebody remembers.

Alexandra Jones: In this case, Velora Synn remembered.

Polly Mason: Apparently.

Alexandra Jones: You don't sound particularly interested in becoming involved in whatever is happening between them.

Polly Mason: Because I'm not.

Polly shakes her head.

Polly Mason: Whatever exists between Lilith and Velora Synn is between Lilith and Velora Synn. If Lilith wants revenge, she knows where to find her. If Velora has something she wants from Lilith, that's their problem.

Alexandra Jones: And if Lilith decides her problem is still you?

Polly Mason: Then she knows where to find me too.

Polly taps the faceplate of the Queen of the North Championship.

Polly Mason: I'm not hiding.

Alexandra Jones: You probably couldn't even if you wanted to, because when we look around Northern Belles right now, there may not be another champion with this many established challengers surrounding her.

Polly gives a small nod.

Alexandra Jones: Moonshadow, a former Queen of the North Champion. Lilith, also a former champion. Crimson Vane, another former champion who just won the final Women's Convergent qualifying Battle Royal tonight.

At the mention of Crimson Vane, Polly's expression becomes slightly more serious.

Alexandra Jones: Then there is La Bruja Muerte. Mina Harker. And, of course, the woman you are scheduled to face at Fault Line, Dr. Violetta Voss.

Polly Mason: That's the job.

Alexandra Jones: That's a very dangerous job.

Polly Mason: It should be.

Alexandra studies her.

Alexandra Jones: You genuinely see it that way?

Polly Mason: Absolutely.

Polly takes the championship from her shoulder and holds it in front of herself for a moment.

Polly Mason: Look at this.

She turns the title slightly toward the camera.

Polly Mason: This is supposed to mean you're at the top of the women's division.

Polly places it back over her shoulder.

Polly Mason: So why would I expect the road to get easier after I win it?

Alexandra Jones: Because the list you just heard includes some of the most dangerous women in NPCW.

Polly Mason: Good.

Alexandra Jones: Good?

Polly Mason: If I beat women nobody respects, then eventually people say the championship doesn't mean anything.

She points lightly toward the belt.

Polly Mason: I don't want that.

Polly Mason: I want Moonshadow believing she can take it back.

Polly Mason: I want Lilith furious about last night.

Polly Mason: I want Crimson Vane looking at this championship after what she just accomplished.

Polly Mason: I want La Bruja Muerte thinking I'm standing in her way.

Polly Mason: I want Mina Harker deciding she can beat me.

Polly Mason: And I want Dr. Violetta Voss walking into Fault Line absolutely convinced that she's already proven she can put me down.

That last name changes the atmosphere.

Alexandra Jones: Because she has.

Polly looks directly at Alexandra.

Alexandra Jones: At Fallout, you and Dr. Violetta Voss met in a Last Woman Standing match.

A brief pause.

Alexandra Jones: Voss won.

Polly Mason: She did.

Again, no excuse.

Alexandra Jones: That means your Fault Line challenger doesn't have to tell herself that she can defeat the Queen of the North Champion.

Alexandra Jones: She already has.

Polly Mason: And that's exactly why she's dangerous.

Alexandra Jones: Does that loss stay with you?

Polly Mason: Every loss stays with me.

Alexandra Jones: Some more than others?

Polly Mason: Definitely.

Polly looks slightly away from the camera as she considers the question.

Polly Mason: A Last Woman Standing match strips everything away. There's no argument about a fast count. There's no rope break. There's no partner saving you. Somebody stays down and somebody doesn't.

She looks back toward Alexandra.

Polly Mason: That night, I stayed down.

Alexandra Jones: And Voss didn't.

Polly Mason: No.

A beat.

Polly Mason: But that was before this.

She grips the Queen of the North Championship.

Polly Mason: That was before I became champion.

Alexandra Jones: Does holding that title make you a different competitor?

Polly Mason: Holding it doesn't.

Polly steps slightly closer.

Polly Mason: What I had to become to earn it does.

The crowd reacts audibly again.

Polly Mason: Violetta Voss has every right to walk into Fault Line confident.

Polly Mason: She has every right to look at me and remember the woman she left lying at Fallout.

Polly Mason: But if that's the only Polly Mason she's preparing for, she's preparing for the wrong woman.

Alexandra Jones: Before Fault Line arrives, though, Dr. Violetta Voss has another major test tonight.

Polly Mason: Moonshadow.

Alexandra Jones: Former Queen of the North Champion against your upcoming challenger.

Polly Mason: I'll be watching.

Alexandra Jones: Closely?

Polly Mason: Very.

Alexandra Jones: Who benefits more from that match tonight? Voss, because she can make another statement before Fault Line, or Moonshadow, because beating your next challenger could immediately put her back into the championship conversation?

Polly Mason: Both.

Alexandra Jones: That's diplomatic.

Polly Mason: It's true.

Polly gestures toward the arena.

Polly Mason: If Moonshadow beats Voss, I'm not going to pretend that doesn't matter. She's already been Queen of the North. She knows exactly what this championship demands.

Polly Mason: And if Voss beats Moonshadow tonight, then she walks toward Fault Line having beaten another former champion right in front of me.

Alexandra Jones: Which would send a message.

Polly Mason: It would.

Alexandra Jones: Would you rather Voss lose tonight?

Polly thinks for only a moment.

Polly Mason: No.

That catches Alexandra slightly by surprise.

Alexandra Jones: No?

Polly Mason: I want the best version of Dr. Violetta Voss at Fault Line.

Alexandra Jones: Even knowing she has already beaten you once?

Polly Mason: Especially because she's already beaten me once.

The champion looks directly into the camera now.

Polly Mason: Because if I beat somebody who comes into Fault Line struggling, people make excuses for her.

Polly Mason: If Voss comes in winning, confident and convinced she's going to do exactly what she did at Fallout—

Polly raises the championship from her shoulder and holds it beside her face.

Polly Mason: —then when she finds out she can't do it again, there won't be anything left to explain.

A noticeable reaction comes from inside the arena.

Alexandra Jones: And what about everybody else? Moonshadow. Lilith. Crimson Vane. La Bruja Muerte. Mina Harker.

Polly Mason: Keep coming.

Alexandra Jones: All of them?

Polly Mason: Every one.

Polly settles the championship firmly back onto her shoulder.

Polly Mason: Being Queen of the North isn't supposed to mean everybody bows to you.

She pauses.

Polly Mason: It means everybody knows exactly where to aim.

Alexandra Jones: Polly Mason, still standing as Queen of the North after last night, but with no shortage of challengers waiting for their opportunity.

Polly Mason: Good.

Alexandra Jones turns toward the camera as Polly gives one final glance toward the championship before walking out of the interview area.

Alexandra Jones: And later tonight, two women very much connected to that championship picture collide when former Queen of the North Champion Moonshadow faces Dr. Violetta Voss, the woman scheduled to challenge Polly Mason at Fault Line.

5. MATCH 2

The camera returns to the ring inside North Pole Arena, where referee "Honest" Abe checks the ropes before taking his position.

A low, ominous sound rolls through the arena.

Grizelda emerges first, moving slowly onto the stage with a crooked smile. She pauses beneath the entrance lights, looking out over the crowd as though their hostility only amuses her.

A darker pulse follows.

La Bruja Muerte appears behind her, considerably more controlled. She stands motionless for a moment before joining Grizelda at the top of the aisle. The two exchange a glance and begin walking toward the ring together.

KC Rogers: Two dangerous women who don't need to like each other very much to recognize what the other brings to a fight.

Vera Steele: Grizelda creates disorder. La Bruja Muerte is much more structured. That combination can be difficult to prepare for because the opponent has to solve two very different problems.

Amara Bell: Assuming they don't become problems for each other.

KC Rogers: You found the pessimistic interpretation quickly.

Amara Bell: I found the unanswered question.

Grizelda slips through the ropes first. La Bruja Muerte follows, immediately taking up position in their corner.

Celeste Orion: The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, GRIZELDA and LA BRUJA MUERTE!

The crowd responds loudly as their opponents' music hits.

Ruby Howl bursts onto the stage first, red hair moving behind her as she throws both arms outward toward the audience.

Scarlett Howl follows a step behind, more measured but equally focused.

The sisters come together at the top of the aisle, bump forearms and then race toward the ring.

KC Rogers: Ruby and Scarlett Howl have something their opponents can never manufacture tonight. Years of instinctive familiarity.

Vera Steele: In tag wrestling, that matters. They shouldn't need to verbally negotiate every transition. They should know where the other woman is.

Amara Bell: Familiarity helps until people start assuming instead of communicating.

KC Rogers: You really have no intention of making this easy for anybody tonight.

Amara Bell: They're wrestling. I'm commenting.

Ruby Howl slides beneath the bottom rope while Scarlett Howl climbs onto the apron and steps through. The sisters stand shoulder to shoulder as Grizelda laughs from across the ring.

Celeste Orion: And their opponents, RUBY HOWL and SCARLETT HOWL!

"Honest" Abe speaks briefly to both teams before sending La Bruja Muerte and Scarlett Howl to their respective corners.

Ruby Howl starts for the Howls.

Grizelda starts opposite her.

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Ruby Howl circles cautiously, but Grizelda abruptly closes the distance and drives her backward into the ropes.

Instead of breaking cleanly, Grizelda gets both hands high around Ruby's throat and begins choking her against the top strand.

"Honest" Abe immediately starts a count.

Ruby grabs at Grizelda's wrists, but Grizelda maintains the blatant choke until the referee reaches four.

Grizelda releases at the last possible moment and steps backward with an exaggerated expression of innocence.

Ruby coughs and rubs at her throat.

KC Rogers: Grizelda testing "Honest" Abe immediately, and she knew exactly how long she could hold that choke.

Vera Steele: More importantly, she has already forced Ruby to react rather than initiate. Even an illegal hold can establish tempo if the referee's count is respected before five.

Amara Bell: That wasn't an accident. If Ruby allows herself to become angry about it, Grizelda gets more than four seconds of advantage.

Minute 2

Ruby Howl answers aggressively, rushing forward with a forearm that catches Grizelda across the jaw.

Ruby follows with another strike and begins building momentum, but Grizelda twists free and reaches her corner.

La Bruja Muerte tags in.

The change is immediate.

Grizelda catches Ruby with a sharp Hex Chop across the chest while La Bruja Muerte enters and sweeps the leg.

La Bruja Muerte immediately transitions into an STF, wrenching back as Ruby reaches toward the ropes.

"Honest" Abe orders Grizelda back to the apron.

Ruby crawls forward, turns her body enough to break La Bruja Muerte's control and scrambles back to her feet.

La Bruja Muerte approaches again.

Ruby catches her suddenly, hoists her and drives her into the canvas with a Michinoku Driver II.

The crowd erupts.

KC Rogers: Ruby Howl absorbed the double-team attack and answered with a Michinoku Driver!

Vera Steele: Excellent recovery. She didn't waste energy arguing with the referee about Grizelda. She solved the immediate problem in front of her.

Amara Bell: Better. Anger was getting her nowhere. Execution got her somewhere.

KC Rogers: I'm sure Ruby will appreciate the approval.

Amara Bell: She shouldn't be listening to me.

Minute 3

Ruby Howl presses the advantage.

She pulls La Bruja Muerte toward center ring, lands a forearm and turns quickly toward the ropes.

Ruby accelerates, rebounds and launches herself through the air.

She crashes across La Bruja Muerte with Red Moon Rising, the diving back senton driving the air from her opponent.

Grizelda starts through the ropes instinctively, but "Honest" Abe orders her back.

Ruby hooks the leg.

One.

Two.

La Bruja Muerte kicks out.

KC Rogers: Red Moon Rising! Ruby Howl is beginning to find rhythm.

Vera Steele: Notice where Ruby landed. She immediately covered from the side nearest Grizelda, forcing Grizelda to travel farther if she wanted to intervene.

Amara Bell: That's the first thing she's done tonight that suggests she isn't simply fighting whoever is standing in front of her.

KC Rogers: You could just say it was smart.

Amara Bell: It was smart.

Minute 4

Ruby Howl reaches down to pull La Bruja Muerte upright.

La Bruja catches the wrist and twists out.

She makes the tag.

Grizelda enters quickly.

Ruby attacks first, chopping Grizelda sharply across the chest.

A second knife-edge chop follows.

Grizelda staggers backward, then suddenly grabs Ruby around the head.

Before Ruby can escape, Grizelda jumps and plants her with a Flying DDT.

Ruby's head snaps against the canvas.

Grizelda rolls onto her back laughing before finally covering.

One.

Two.

Ruby gets a shoulder up.

KC Rogers: Flying DDT from Grizelda, and that stopped Ruby instantly.

Vera Steele: Ruby became predictable. Two consecutive chops made her think the third exchange would happen at the same distance. Grizelda stepped inside that range.

Amara Bell: Momentum feels wonderful until somebody uses it against you.

Minute 5

Grizelda immediately tags La Bruja Muerte back into the match.

La Bruja steps through the ropes as Ruby Howl struggles upright.

Ruby turns.

La Bruja Muerte fires the Nightshade Kick directly into her jaw.

The superkick sends Ruby collapsing backward.

La Bruja covers.

One.

Two.

Ruby kicks out.

La Bruja Muerte looks toward Grizelda, then tags her back in.

KC Rogers: Nightshade Kick nearly ended it.

Vera Steele: The rapid tags are important. They're preventing Ruby from identifying a stable rhythm. Every time she adapts to one opponent, the other one enters.

Amara Bell: And Scarlett hasn't been in the match yet. That's becoming a problem.

KC Rogers: Ruby is trying to fight through it.

Amara Bell: Exactly. Trying to fight through everything is sometimes another way of refusing to make the obvious decision.

Minute 6

Grizelda reaches for Ruby Howl.

This time Ruby fights first.

One knife-edge chop lands.

Then another.

A third drives Grizelda backward.

Ruby takes one step toward her corner.

Grizelda grabs the wrist.

Ruby spins through and cracks another chop across Grizelda's chest, forcing the grip loose.

Scarlett Howl stretches her hand as far as possible from the apron.

Ruby moves toward her, but Grizelda cuts the path off again.

KC Rogers: Ruby is fighting for that corner now.

Vera Steele: And this is where earlier damage matters. She has enough offense to create openings, but she is not creating enough separation to complete the tag.

Amara Bell: She's been in the match six minutes. Scarlett is fresh. There should be one objective now.

Minute 7

Grizelda tackles Ruby Howl down before she can escape and begins stomping repeatedly at the torso.

"Honest" Abe warns Grizelda to back away.

She does, eventually.

Ruby rolls onto one knee.

Grizelda charges again.

Ruby explodes upward, catches her around the body and drives her down with another Michinoku Driver II.

Both women stay down momentarily.

The crowd begins clapping rhythmically.

Scarlett Howl pounds the turnbuckle.

Ruby crawls toward the corner.

Grizelda reaches after her ankle.

Ruby kicks the hand away.

She dives.

Tag.

Scarlett Howl enters.

KC Rogers: Finally! Scarlett Howl gets the tag!

Vera Steele: That Michinoku Driver wasn't just offense. It was distance creation. That's the important distinction.

Amara Bell: Six minutes later than I would have preferred, but yes, she finally made the correct choice.

KC Rogers: I don't think Ruby was waiting for your preferred schedule.

Amara Bell: Clearly.

Minute 8

Scarlett Howl rushes toward Grizelda.

Grizelda ducks beneath the first strike.

As Scarlett turns, Grizelda grabs a handful of hair.

She yanks Scarlett backward into a snap mare.

Before Scarlett can rise, Grizelda grabs the hair again and snaps her forward a second time.

"Honest" Abe intervenes, warning Grizelda about the hair.

Grizelda responds by performing another exaggerated shrug.

Scarlett rises angrily.

KC Rogers: Another shortcut from Grizelda.

Vera Steele: And Scarlett needs to control the reaction. Grizelda is inviting emotional decisions.

Amara Bell: The referee is already watching her closely. Scarlett doesn't need revenge. She needs patience.

Minute 9

Scarlett Howl approaches more cautiously.

Grizelda feints forward.

Scarlett does not bite.

The two reset.

Grizelda reaches for the head.

Scarlett slips behind her and locks her arms around the waist.

Grizelda tries to widen her base.

Scarlett powers her upward into an electric-chair position, shifts forward and drives Grizelda face-first into the canvas with an Electric Chair Facebuster.

The audience comes alive.

Scarlett turns Grizelda over.

One.

Two.

Grizelda kicks out.

KC Rogers: Beautiful adjustment from Scarlett Howl!

Vera Steele: She stopped chasing Grizelda's movement. Once Grizelda had to initiate, Scarlett could counter the entry.

Amara Bell: That's improvement.

KC Rogers: Was that praise?

Amara Bell: Observation.

Minute 10

Scarlett Howl brings Grizelda upright.

Grizelda suddenly catches her with both hands around the throat and drives her backward.

"Honest" Abe starts another count.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Grizelda releases.

Scarlett reacts instantly and hooks Grizelda around the body.

She lifts her vertically and drives her down with a Vertical Suplex.

Both women scramble toward their corners.

Grizelda tags La Bruja Muerte.

Scarlett tags Ruby Howl.

The crowd rises as the fresh legal exchange begins.

KC Rogers: Double tag! Ruby Howl and La Bruja Muerte are legal!

Vera Steele: Watch Ruby now. She is not truly fresh. She spent a long stretch isolated earlier.

Amara Bell: And this is where people confuse time on the apron with recovery. You don't magically erase damage because your partner wrestled for three minutes.

Minute 11

Ruby Howl enters aggressively.

She lands a knife-edge chop to La Bruja Muerte.

Another follows.

La Bruja attempts to redirect the arm, but Ruby pulls free and lands a third chop.

La Bruja Muerte backs into the ropes.

Ruby charges.

La Bruja moves aside.

Ruby stops herself before colliding with the ropes, turns and lands another chop as La Bruja approaches.

La Bruja Muerte absorbs it and drops to one knee.

Ruby quickly reaches back.

Tag to Scarlett Howl.

KC Rogers: Much better tag awareness from Ruby now.

Vera Steele: She won the exchange and left before fatigue could turn advantage into vulnerability.

Amara Bell: That's the difference between using momentum and becoming addicted to it.

Minute 12

Scarlett Howl enters while Ruby Howl remains momentarily inside the ropes.

The sisters attempt to coordinate.

Scarlett catches La Bruja Muerte from behind, looking for a Belly-to-Back Pendulum Facebuster.

At the same moment, Ruby charges for a Running Back Elbow Smash.

La Bruja Muerte sees both attacks developing.

She twists away from Scarlett's grip.

Ruby's elbow misses as La Bruja ducks.

The Howls nearly collide.

La Bruja Muerte shoves Ruby toward the ropes and forces her back to the apron before "Honest" Abe completes the referee's count.

KC Rogers: La Bruja Muerte just neutralized the Howls' double-team attempt.

Vera Steele: Because they telegraphed it. Coordination only helps if the opponent cannot see the sequence forming.

Amara Bell: Familiarity became assumption. Exactly what I mentioned before the match.

KC Rogers: I knew that was coming.

Amara Bell: Then we both learned something.

Minute 13

Scarlett Howl turns back toward La Bruja Muerte.

La Bruja immediately springs upward.

Her knees catch Scarlett across the upper chest and face.

Scarlett snaps backward from the Codebreaker.

La Bruja Muerte rolls through and makes the cover.

One.

Two.

Scarlett Howl kicks out.

Ruby Howl shouts encouragement from the apron.

KC Rogers: Codebreaker! Scarlett Howl barely escaped!

Vera Steele: That came directly from the failed double-team attempt. Scarlett was still mentally resetting when La Bruja attacked.

Amara Bell: That's what good wrestlers do. They don't wait politely for you to reorganize.

Minute 14

La Bruja Muerte drives Scarlett Howl backward toward a neutral corner.

Scarlett catches her with a forearm.

La Bruja responds.

Scarlett lands another and finally creates enough space to reach toward Ruby Howl.

Ruby tags herself in and immediately leaps onto the middle rope.

Scarlett catches La Bruja from behind and drives her down with a Belly-to-Back Pendulum Facebuster.

Ruby follows with a Step-Up Enzuigiri as La Bruja attempts to rise.

La Bruja Muerte staggers into the corner but fires back, catching Scarlett with a Step-Up Corner High Knee before "Honest" Abe can send her fully out of the ring.

The referee finally restores order.

KC Rogers: Everybody landed something there!

Vera Steele: And nobody gained full control. The Howls executed their sequence more cleanly this time, but La Bruja still found a defensive answer before the ring could be reset.

Amara Bell: That's a dangerous habit for La Bruja Muerte. Even when she loses an exchange, she makes sure the other side pays for it.

Minute 15

During the confusion, La Bruja Muerte reaches her corner.

Grizelda tags in but remains just inside the ropes as La Bruja catches Scarlett Howl, who has become legal again during the exchange.

La Bruja Muerte hooks both of Scarlett's arms and drives her face-first into the canvas with the Curse Breaker.

Grizelda immediately grabs Scarlett by the hair, jerks her upright and snaps her over with another Hair Pull Snap Mare.

Scarlett rolls through, gets to one knee and drives her forehead into La Bruja Muerte with a headbutt before the referee forces La Bruja back toward the apron.

Scarlett then turns toward Grizelda.

KC Rogers: Scarlett Howl is being forced to fight through two completely different styles again.

Vera Steele: And that headbutt mattered. It prevented La Bruja from lingering in the ring long enough to extend the double-team.

Amara Bell: But Scarlett is spending energy simply surviving sequences now. That's usually when a match starts moving away from you.

Minute 16

Grizelda tags La Bruja Muerte back in.

La Bruja steps through and catches Scarlett Howl, driving her down with a Snap Suplex.

Scarlett rolls through the impact and forces herself upright.

La Bruja approaches again.

Scarlett catches her.

She locks both arms around La Bruja Muerte, lifts her off the mat and drives her down with a Full Nelson Slam.

The crowd surges.

Scarlett reaches immediately toward her corner.

Tag.

Ruby Howl enters.

KC Rogers: Full Nelson Slam! And Scarlett makes the tag!

Vera Steele: Excellent timing. She did not stay in to admire the move. She used the impact to create a safe transition.

Amara Bell: That's the most disciplined thing either Howl sister has done all match.

KC Rogers: You have been keeping a very specific ledger tonight.

Amara Bell: That's my job.

Minute 17

Ruby Howl and La Bruja Muerte approach cautiously.

Neither commits immediately.

Ruby reaches for a leg.

La Bruja sprawls backward.

They reset.

La Bruja Muerte steps inside and hooks both arms.

She drives Ruby down with the Curse Breaker.

KC Rogers: Curse Breaker!

La Bruja moves toward the cover.

Ruby catches one of her legs, twists through and traps La Bruja Muerte in an Inverted Cloverleaf.

The audience rises.

La Bruja reaches for the ropes.

Ruby sits back and applies more pressure.

Grizelda shouts from the corner.

La Bruja Muerte drags herself forward and finally reaches the bottom rope.

"Honest" Abe orders the break.

Ruby releases immediately.

KC Rogers: Ruby Howl almost turned the entire match around with that Inverted Cloverleaf!

Vera Steele: That was intelligent counter-wrestling. Ruby took the leg presented during the attempted cover instead of forcing herself upright first.

Amara Bell: But now she has to capitalize. Nearly winning and winning are separate categories.

KC Rogers: You really don't permit much daylight between those categories.

Amara Bell: There isn't any.

Minute 18

Ruby Howl pulls La Bruja Muerte away from the ropes.

Ruby attempts to lift her.

La Bruja blocks.

Ruby tries again.

La Bruja Muerte suddenly breaks free and shoves Ruby backward.

Ruby rebounds off the ropes.

La Bruja Muerte leaps.

Both knees drive directly into Ruby Howl's chest and jaw with a Codebreaker.

Ruby crashes flat onto the canvas.

KC Rogers: CODEBREAKER!

La Bruja Muerte immediately hooks both legs.

"Honest" Abe drops into position.

One.

Two.

Three.

The bell rings.

KC Rogers: That's it! La Bruja Muerte pins Ruby Howl!

Scarlett Howl steps through the ropes a fraction too late as "Honest" Abe waves her back.

La Bruja Muerte releases the cover and rises slowly.

Grizelda enters beside her with a wide grin.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, your winners, GRIZELDA and LA BRUJA MUERTE!

LA BRUJA MUERTE AND GRIZELDA DEFEATS RUBY HOWL AND SCARLETT HOWL VIA PINFALL AT 18:00 MINUTE MARK.

KC Rogers: The Howl sisters had several moments where it looked like their chemistry might carry them through, but La Bruja Muerte found the opening when it mattered and finished Ruby Howl cleanly with the Codebreaker.

Vera Steele: The difference was control of transitions. Ruby and Scarlett were dangerous when they established their offense, but twice their attempts at coordinated double-team sequences became readable. La Bruja Muerte repeatedly disrupted those transitions, and by the closing minutes the Howls were spending too much energy recovering rather than dictating.

Amara Bell: They looked promising.

KC Rogers: I sense another sentence coming.

Amara Bell: There is. Promising teams still lose.

KC Rogers: And winning teams?

Amara Bell: Get to prove whether they can do it again.

KC Rogers: You really are committed to never allowing a result to exist by itself.

Amara Bell: Results don't exist by themselves.

At ringside, Ruby Howl sits against the barricade holding her jaw while Scarlett Howl crouches beside her.

Inside the ring, Grizelda raises both arms dramatically before attempting to lift La Bruja Muerte's arm as well.

La Bruja pulls it away and simply stares toward the fallen Howls.

Vera Steele: And that might tell you something about this partnership too.

Amara Bell: They won together.

A pause.

Amara Bell: I wouldn't assume that means they trust each other.

The camera lingers on La Bruja Muerte and Grizelda standing side by side but distinctly separate as the broadcast prepares to move on.

6. MATCH 3

The camera returns to the ring, where "Honest" Abe is already in position as the lighting shifts for the third match of the evening.

The atmosphere changes first.

Patchwork Paula and Patchwork Piper emerge side by side, with Puppetmaster following several steps behind them. The two Dolls make their way down the aisle with their attention fixed on the ring while Puppetmaster remains composed behind them, watching everything without approaching either woman.

KC Rogers: The Patchwork Dolls have always been difficult to prepare for because there is an unpredictability to the way they operate.

Vera Steele: But underneath the presentation, they are an experienced team. Paula and Piper understand positioning and timing together.

Amara Bell: And they already have one advantage tonight. Neither one of them spent fifty minutes in a Battle Royal earlier.

KC Rogers: That is very clearly aimed at Holly Vale.

Amara Bell: It is a fact aimed at Holly Vale.

Patchwork Paula slips into the ring while Patchwork Piper steps onto the apron. Puppetmaster takes his place at ringside.

Celeste Orion: The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Puppetmaster, PATCHWORK PAULA and PATCHWORK PIPER, the PATCHWORK DOLLS!

The crowd response shifts sharply when the next entrance begins.

Bella Aurelia appears first, pausing at the top of the aisle.

A moment later, Holly Vale joins her.

The two stand together beneath the Northern Belles lighting before turning toward one another and exchanging a brief nod.

Then they begin their first walk toward a Northern Belles ring as an official team.

KC Rogers: Here they are. The Northern Belles debut of the Beautiful Thorns.

Vera Steele: We already know Holly Vale has had a demanding night. She competed earlier in the Convergent qualifying Battle Royal. Now we see whether she and Bella Aurelia can operate as a unit.

Amara Bell: This is the useful part of a debut. Forget the entrance. Forget the name. Show me whether they function when something goes wrong.

KC Rogers: You could give them until the opening bell.

Amara Bell: I have.

Bella Aurelia climbs onto the apron and steps through the ropes first. Holly Vale follows, and the two move immediately toward their corner.

Celeste Orion: And their opponents, making their Northern Belles tag team debut, BELLA AURELIA and HOLLY VALE, the BEAUTIFUL THORNS!

The crowd applauds as Bella Aurelia and Holly Vale raise their arms together.

Across the ring, Patchwork Paula watches without expression.

"Honest" Abe checks both corners.

Bella Aurelia begins for the Beautiful Thorns.

Patchwork Paula begins for the Patchwork Dolls.

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Bella Aurelia closes quickly and catches Patchwork Paula with a forearm smash across the jaw.

Paula responds by wrapping Bella in a wrenching side headlock, grinding down and forcing Bella toward the ropes.

Bella drives an elbow into the ribs and creates enough separation to reach toward her corner.

Holly Vale tags herself in quickly.

Bella catches Paula with another forearm as Holly enters and spins around Paula's body with a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors.

Patchwork Paula rolls across the canvas and comes up near the ropes.

KC Rogers: Fast start from the Beautiful Thorns, and already we are seeing them combine offense.

Vera Steele: The important part is that Bella created the opening first. Holly entered after Paula's balance was already compromised.

Amara Bell: Coordinated. Not complicated. That is usually the right way to start.

Minute 2

Patchwork Paula tries to regain her footing.

Bella Aurelia tags back in almost immediately.

Holly Vale stays close long enough for Bella to step forward.

Bella Aurelia lands the Kiss of Fate, driving a superkick into Paula's jaw.

Paula falls backward.

Before she can recover, Holly Vale runs in and crashes down across her with a Meteora.

"Honest" Abe quickly orders Holly back toward the apron.

Bella hooks the leg.

One.

Two.

Patchwork Paula kicks out.

KC Rogers: Kiss of Fate followed by the Meteora! The Beautiful Thorns are attacking in combinations.

Vera Steele: And Paula is already being forced to defend multiple directions. The legal wrestler changes, but the pressure has been continuous.

Amara Bell: This is what I wanted to see. They are not wrestling like two singles competitors who happen to share a corner.

Minute 3

Bella Aurelia reaches down for Patchwork Paula.

Paula catches her immediately and pulls her into another wrenching side headlock.

Bella tries to turn into the hold.

Paula tightens her grip and drops her weight, slowing the pace dramatically.

Bella pushes forward until she can reach her corner.

Holly Vale stretches out her hand.

Bella Aurelia makes the tag.

Holly steps into the ring as Paula releases the headlock and backs away.

KC Rogers: Patchwork Paula doing what she can to slow the pace.

Vera Steele: That is the correct adjustment. The Beautiful Thorns were building speed. Paula made the match smaller and more controlled.

Amara Bell: And Bella didn't waste time proving she could escape alone. She tagged out.

KC Rogers: You approve of that.

Amara Bell: Completely.

Minute 4

Holly Vale moves toward Patchwork Paula.

Paula attempts to grab her around the head.

Holly breaks the grip, hooks Paula and drives her face-first into the canvas with a Sitout Facebuster.

Paula rolls away.

Holly follows.

As Holly reaches down, Patchwork Paula suddenly catches her and drives her down with a One-Hand Bulldog.

Both women rise quickly.

Holly backs toward the corner and reaches behind her.

Tag to Bella Aurelia.

KC Rogers: Both women landed heavily there.

Vera Steele: Holly won the first exchange but stayed close enough for Paula to answer immediately.

Amara Bell: And again the Beautiful Thorns use the tag instead of forcing a second exchange. That's disciplined.

Minute 5

Bella Aurelia enters and lands another forearm smash across Patchwork Paula's face.

Paula stumbles backward but immediately dives low.

She catches Bella's legs and rolls her backward into a School Girl.

"Honest" Abe drops down.

One.

Bella Aurelia kicks free.

Both women rise.

Bella looks toward Paula more cautiously now.

KC Rogers: Patchwork Paula nearly stole one there.

Vera Steele: That is why Bella cannot become too comfortable attacking straight ahead. Paula will change levels and look for leverage.

Amara Bell: A one-count still matters. It tells Bella that she can be caught.

Minute 6

Bella Aurelia takes her time approaching.

Patchwork Paula reaches for another headlock.

Bella catches the arm, turns through and sends Paula over with a Hip Toss.

Bella rises immediately and pauses for a brief pose toward the crowd.

That moment gives Paula enough time to recover.

Patchwork Paula catches Bella from behind, pulls her down with a Snapmare and clamps on a Chinlock.

Bella reaches toward her corner.

Paula leans backward.

Bella drives herself up, breaks the grip and reaches far enough.

Tag to Holly Vale.

KC Rogers: Bella Aurelia got a little theatrical after the Hip Toss and Paula took advantage.

Vera Steele: That is unnecessary recovery time given to the opponent.

Amara Bell: Good entrance. Good offense. Bad moment to admire yourself.

KC Rogers: There is the debut review.

Amara Bell: You asked for commentary.

Minute 7

Holly Vale enters with speed.

She charges Patchwork Paula and leaps for a Front Dropkick.

Paula reads it.

She shifts sideways and knocks Holly's legs away before the kick can connect.

Holly lands awkwardly and rolls through.

Paula backs toward her corner.

Holly reaches hers.

Both women tag.

Bella Aurelia enters for the Beautiful Thorns.

Patchwork Piper enters for the first time for the Patchwork Dolls.

The crowd reacts as the two fresh legal competitors meet near center ring.

KC Rogers: First appearance in the match for Patchwork Piper.

Vera Steele: And that matters because Bella has already had multiple exchanges. Piper comes in with far less accumulated damage.

Amara Bell: This is where the match becomes more interesting. Now the Beautiful Thorns have to deal with someone they haven't established a rhythm against yet.

Minute 8

Patchwork Piper steps forward aggressively.

Bella Aurelia beats her to the opening.

Bella explodes forward and drives a Running Bicycle Knee into Piper's face.

Piper drops immediately.

Bella hooks the leg.

One.

Patchwork Piper kicks out.

Bella remains kneeling beside her for a moment, surprised by how quickly Piper escaped.

KC Rogers: Running Bicycle Knee from Bella Aurelia, but only a one-count!

Vera Steele: That tells Bella two things. The move landed cleanly, but Piper is still extremely fresh.

Amara Bell: Which means Bella shouldn't start chasing the pin every time something lands.

Minute 9

Bella Aurelia brings Patchwork Piper upright.

Piper suddenly hooks the head and snaps Bella over with a Snap Mare.

Bella hits the canvas and sits up.

Piper drives a short strike between the shoulder blades before moving toward her corner.

Tag to Patchwork Paula.

Paula steps through as Bella rises.

KC Rogers: Patchwork Piper didn't stay in long.

Vera Steele: Smart tag. She disrupted Bella, created a positional advantage and brought Paula back into a favorable situation.

Amara Bell: That is what established teams do. Not every tag needs to come because you're desperate.

Minute 10

Patchwork Paula approaches.

Bella Aurelia sees her coming.

Bella suddenly bursts forward and drives another Running Bicycle Knee into Paula.

Paula collapses.

Bella covers.

One.

Two.

Patchwork Paula kicks out.

The crowd reacts.

Bella sits back and looks toward "Honest" Abe, who confirms the two-count.

Paula rolls toward her corner.

She reaches.

Tag to Patchwork Piper.

KC Rogers: Closer that time! Bella Aurelia nearly had Patchwork Paula!

Vera Steele: The same knee produced a one-count against Piper and a two-count against Paula. That reflects the difference in accumulated damage.

Amara Bell: And now Bella has information. The knee works. The question is whether she becomes predictable trying to force it.

Minute 11

Patchwork Piper enters immediately.

Bella Aurelia turns toward her.

Piper charges and wipes Bella down with a Clothesline.

Bella hits the canvas hard.

Piper pulls her back upright and attempts to keep her away from the Beautiful Thorns corner.

Bella slips around her.

She dives toward Holly Vale.

Tag.

Holly steps through as Bella rolls to the apron.

KC Rogers: Patchwork Piper nearly stopped Bella from making that tag.

Vera Steele: Bella's timing saved her. Another second trapped in the wrong half of the ring and Piper could have begun isolating her.

Amara Bell: And Holly needs to make this tag count. She has had the heavier workload tonight because of the Battle Royal earlier.

Minute 12

Holly Vale meets Patchwork Piper near center ring.

Piper reaches for the arm.

Holly pulls free, hooks her opponent and lifts.

Holly Vale drives Patchwork Piper down with a Falcon Arrow.

The crowd rises.

Holly sits for a moment after the impact, breathing heavily.

Rather than covering, she looks toward her corner.

Bella Aurelia reaches out.

Holly gets to her feet and makes the tag.

KC Rogers: Falcon Arrow by Holly Vale, but she chooses the tag instead of the cover.

Vera Steele: That could be fatigue management. Holly knows exactly how much she has already spent tonight.

Amara Bell: Good. Pretending fatigue doesn't exist doesn't make you tougher. It makes you careless.

KC Rogers: You are giving Holly more credit now than you did before the match.

Amara Bell: She's earning it.

Minute 13

Bella Aurelia enters as Patchwork Piper forces herself upright.

Piper swings a forearm.

Bella reads it, catches the arm and pulls Piper forward.

Bella Aurelia hooks the body and drives Piper down with a Snap Suplex.

Bella floats directly into the cover.

One.

Two.

Patchwork Paula rushes into the ring and breaks the pin.

"Honest" Abe immediately orders Paula back toward her corner.

Bella argues for only a second before returning to Piper.

She reaches behind her.

Tag to Holly Vale.

KC Rogers: Patchwork Paula saves the match!

Vera Steele: That was necessary. Piper did not look like she was getting out before three.

Amara Bell: And that save tells the Beautiful Thorns something too. The Patchwork Dolls are beginning to run out of clean answers.

Minute 14

Holly Vale enters quickly.

Patchwork Piper catches her immediately with a Clothesline.

Holly hits the mat but rolls through and gets back up.

Piper charges again.

This time Holly catches her.

Holly Vale lifts Patchwork Piper and drives her down with another Falcon Arrow.

Both women remain on the mat for several seconds.

Holly looks toward her corner.

Bella Aurelia is ready.

Holly crawls over and tags.

KC Rogers: Falcon Arrow again, but Holly Vale paid for it before she could deliver it.

Vera Steele: That exchange matters physically. Holly had to absorb the Clothesline before executing a power move.

Amara Bell: And she immediately got out. That's the right choice.

KC Rogers: No argument this time?

Amara Bell: None.

Minute 15

Bella Aurelia steps into the ring.

Patchwork Piper is still trying to rise.

Bella closes the distance and drives a Heart Punch into Piper's chest.

Piper drops backward.

Bella covers.

One.

Two.

Patchwork Piper gets a shoulder up.

Bella looks toward Holly Vale, then back toward Piper.

KC Rogers: Another two-count!

Vera Steele: Piper's reactions are slowing. That shoulder came up later than before.

Amara Bell: Now Bella has to resist the temptation to rush. When an opponent is deteriorating, impatience can give them the one counter they need.

Minute 16

Bella Aurelia pulls Patchwork Piper back to her feet.

Piper reaches for a forearm.

Bella gets underneath it and sends Piper over with another Hip Toss.

This time Bella pauses again for a quick pose.

Piper tries to roll toward her corner.

Bella catches her before she can reach Patchwork Paula.

She drops into the cover.

One.

Two.

Patchwork Piper kicks out again.

Bella exhales sharply.

KC Rogers: Piper survives another cover.

Vera Steele: Bella is beginning to accumulate near falls, but notice that Piper keeps moving toward the Patchwork Dolls corner after every one.

Amara Bell: Which means Bella should stop giving her even half a second after these moves.

KC Rogers: You are not particularly fond of the posing.

Amara Bell: I am fond of winning.

Minute 17

Bella Aurelia grabs Patchwork Piper's wrist and pulls her away from the corner.

Bella reaches back.

Holly Vale tags in.

The Beautiful Thorns move together.

Bella keeps control of the wrist and pulls Piper forward into a Short-Arm Lariat.

Piper spins down to the mat.

Holly immediately takes over.

She pulls Piper up and drives her down with another Falcon Arrow.

Piper rolls onto one knee and fires a desperate forearm into Bella as Bella begins moving back toward the apron.

"Honest" Abe steps between them and restores order.

KC Rogers: Short-Arm Lariat into the Falcon Arrow! Excellent combination from the Beautiful Thorns!

Vera Steele: This is what tag-team structure looks like. Bella controls direction. Holly supplies the high-impact finish to the sequence.

Amara Bell: And Piper is still fighting. That forearm didn't change control, but it proves she hasn't mentally checked out.

Minute 18

Holly Vale keeps Patchwork Piper near the Beautiful Thorns corner.

Bella Aurelia tags herself back in.

Bella catches Piper with another Heart Punch.

Piper staggers into Holly.

Holly Vale turns with her momentum and sends Piper flying with a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors.

Piper crashes near center ring.

Holly immediately exits as "Honest" Abe directs her back to the apron.

Bella stands over Piper, watching her attempt to rise.

KC Rogers: Another clean double-team sequence.

Vera Steele: And this one was even more efficient. Piper never regained a stable base between the Heart Punch and the Headscissors.

Amara Bell: This is the point where the debut has become convincing. They have repeated their coordination after the match stopped being easy.

KC Rogers: That sounded suspiciously close to praise.

Amara Bell: It was praise.

Minute 19

Patchwork Piper drags herself upright.

Patchwork Paula stretches desperately from the apron.

Piper reaches toward her corner.

Bella Aurelia intercepts.

Piper swings a forearm.

Bella ducks underneath.

Piper turns.

Bella Aurelia explodes forward.

The Running Bicycle Knee crashes directly into Patchwork Piper's face.

Piper drops flat onto the canvas.

Bella immediately hooks both legs.

"Honest" Abe drops into position.

One.

Two.

Patchwork Paula starts through the ropes.

Three.

The bell rings before Paula can get there.

KC Rogers: That's it! Bella Aurelia gets the three-count!

Holly Vale steps into the ring as Bella releases the cover and rises.

Patchwork Paula stops beside Piper, realizing she arrived too late.

At ringside, Puppetmaster remains still, watching the result.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, your winners, BELLA AURELIA and HOLLY VALE, the BEAUTIFUL THORNS!

BEAUTIFUL THORNS DEFEATS PATCHWORK DOLLS VIA PINFALL AT 19:00 MINUTE MARK.

KC Rogers: The Northern Belles debut of the Beautiful Thorns ends with a victory! Bella Aurelia pins Patchwork Piper with the Running Bicycle Knee!

Vera Steele: And the important part is how they arrived there. The opening offense was coordinated, their tags stayed frequent, and when Holly Vale's workload became a factor, they adjusted rather than pretending it wasn't happening. By the final minutes, they had isolated Piper and repeatedly cut off the route to Paula.

Amara Bell: Good debut.

KC Rogers: Just good?

Amara Bell: Yes.

KC Rogers: Nineteen minutes, a victory, repeated double-team combinations—

Amara Bell: And one match.

KC Rogers: There it is.

Amara Bell: They proved they belong in the conversation tonight. Now they have to prove tonight wasn't unusual.

Vera Steele: I believe KC was hoping for approximately ten additional seconds before that qualification.

Amara Bell: She should know me better by now.

Inside the ring, Bella Aurelia and Holly Vale stand together as "Honest" Abe raises both of their arms.

Holly looks visibly fatigued after competing twice tonight, but she smiles toward Bella.

Bella responds by raising Holly's arm higher.

Across the ring, Patchwork Paula kneels beside Patchwork Piper while Puppetmaster watches from the floor.

The camera settles on the victorious Beautiful Thorns as their first Northern Belles match ends with their hands raised.

7. THE DOCTOR IS IN

The broadcast cuts backstage to the Northern Belles interview area, where Alexandra Jones stands beneath the blue-white division emblem.

Beside her is Dr. Violetta Voss.

Voss is composed in her ring gear, shoulders squared and expression almost clinically calm despite her main event approaching. Standing just behind her is Count Daculescu, dressed impeccably, hands folded behind his back as he watches Alexandra with quiet interest.

Alexandra Jones: Earlier tonight we heard from the Queen of the North Champion, Polly Mason. Now I'm joined by the woman who will challenge her at Fault Line, Dr. Violetta Voss, accompanied by Count Daculescu.

Voss gives a slight nod.

Alexandra Jones: But before we get to Fault Line, you have a major assignment tonight. In our main event, you face former Queen of the North Champion Moonshadow.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Assignment?

Alexandra Jones: Match, then.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Better.

A faint smile appears on Count Daculescu's face.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Moonshadow is not an assignment. She is a test subject.

Alexandra Jones: That's an interesting description for a former Queen of the North Champion.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Why?

Alexandra Jones: Because Moonshadow has already proven she can reach the top of this division.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Which makes her useful.

Voss turns slightly toward the camera.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Anybody can examine mediocrity and produce predictable results. There is no value in that. Moonshadow has held the championship. She has defeated elite competition. She moves differently from most women in this division, thinks differently and forces opponents to react differently.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Good.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I want difficult variables.

Alexandra Jones: Because of Polly Mason?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Because of me.

Alexandra raises an eyebrow.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Everybody wants tonight to be about Fault Line. Everybody wants to look at Moonshadow and ask what she tells us about my chances against Polly Mason.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I don't require Moonshadow to tell me whether I can defeat Polly Mason.

A brief pause.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I have already done it.

Count Daculescu: Quite decisively.

Alexandra Jones: You're referring to Fallout.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Naturally.

Alexandra Jones: At Fallout, you defeated Polly Mason in a Last Woman Standing match.

Voss looks directly into the camera.

Dr. Violetta Voss: She stayed down.

Count Daculescu: And that is the detail everyone keeps attempting to decorate with unnecessary language.

Alexandra Jones: What do you mean?

Count Daculescu: They call it history. They call it context. They call it motivation.

He steps slightly closer.

Count Daculescu: Dr. Violetta Voss calls it evidence.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Exactly.

Alexandra Jones: Polly spoke about that earlier tonight. She didn't make an excuse for the loss.

Dr. Violetta Voss: No. She wouldn't.

For the first time, Voss sounds almost approving.

Dr. Violetta Voss: That is one of the reasons I respect her.

Alexandra Jones: Respect?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Do not confuse respect with mercy.

Alexandra Jones: I wasn't planning to.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Good.

Voss folds her arms.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Polly Mason understands something many wrestlers never learn. Denial is useless. She lost. She accepted it. Then she improved.

Alexandra Jones: She also became Queen of the North Champion afterward.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Yes.

Alexandra Jones: Doesn't that make this a different match at Fault Line?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Of course it does.

Alexandra Jones: So the result at Fallout doesn't necessarily predict what happens next.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Now you're asking the correct question.

Count Daculescu watches Voss without interrupting.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I do not expect the same Polly Mason.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I would be disappointed if I got her.

Alexandra Jones: Earlier tonight Polly said almost the same thing about you. She said if you are preparing for the woman you defeated at Fallout, you are preparing for the wrong woman.

A small smile crosses Voss's face.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Excellent.

Alexandra Jones: Excellent?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Yes.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Because champions should evolve.

She takes a small step toward Alexandra.

Dr. Violetta Voss: But evolution does not erase anatomy.

Alexandra Jones: Explain that.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Polly Mason may be stronger now. More confident. More experienced. She may understand pressure better. She may even believe that championship has transformed her.

Voss pauses.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Her joints still bend in the same directions.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Her lungs still require oxygen.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Her nervous system still reacts to trauma.

Dr. Violetta Voss: And pain does not care whether you're carrying a championship.

Count Daculescu: A crown changes status, Alexandra. It does not change mortality.

Alexandra Jones: That's an unsettling way to describe a championship match.

Count Daculescu: Only if one is sentimental about championships.

Alexandra Jones: And you're not?

Count Daculescu: I am sentimental about victory.

Voss glances toward him.

Dr. Violetta Voss: He's learning.

Count Daculescu: From the doctor.

Alexandra Jones: Let's return to tonight. Moonshadow presents a completely different challenge from Polly Mason.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Yes.

Alexandra Jones: She is elusive. Difficult to read. She changes pace quickly. She has championship experience. What specifically concerns you?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Nothing concerns me.

Alexandra Jones: Nothing?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Concern is emotional language.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I account for variables.

Alexandra Jones: Then what variables does Moonshadow present?

Voss nods once, apparently preferring the wording.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Movement.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Distance.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Timing.

Dr. Violetta Voss: She wants opponents looking for her instead of controlling her.

Alexandra Jones: How do you prevent that?

Dr. Violetta Voss: You stop chasing.

Alexandra Jones: That's it?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Most wrestlers make the mistake of believing speed must be answered with speed.

Dr. Violetta Voss: It doesn't.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Speed can be answered with positioning.

Count Daculescu: A locked door does not need to run faster than the person trying to escape through it.

Alexandra Jones: And you believe Voss can close that door tonight?

Count Daculkescu: I believe Moonshadow will eventually discover that there are fewer exits than she imagined.

Alexandra Jones: Moonshadow has been Queen of the North before. A victory tonight could put her directly back into the title conversation.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Then she has something worth fighting for.

Alexandra Jones: Does that make her more dangerous?

Dr. Violetta Voss: It makes her more motivated.

Alexandra Jones: There's a difference?

Dr. Violetta Voss: A substantial one.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Motivation makes people push through fatigue.

Dr. Violetta Voss: It also makes them take chances they otherwise wouldn't.

Alexandra Jones: And you plan to exploit those chances.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I plan to observe them.

Alexandra Jones: And then?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Exploit them.

Count Daculescu gives the smallest approving nod.

Alexandra Jones: There is another layer to tonight. Polly Mason said she intends to watch your match closely.

Dr. Violetta Voss: She should.

Alexandra Jones: Does that add any pressure?

Dr. Violetta Voss: No.

Alexandra Jones: None?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Why would it?

Alexandra Jones: Because your future opponent will be studying you.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Then I hope she takes notes.

Alexandra Jones: You're comfortable giving her information?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Alexandra, I am not performing a demonstration for Polly Mason tonight.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I am wrestling Moonshadow.

She looks directly into the camera again.

Dr. Violetta Voss: If Polly sees something useful, wonderful.

Dr. Violetta Voss: If she sees something frightening, even better.

Alexandra Jones: Earlier, Polly said she actually wants you to win tonight.

That produces a slightly longer pause.

Alexandra Jones: She said she wants the best version of Dr. Violetta Voss at Fault Line. No excuses. No questions.

Voss smiles.

Not broadly.

Just enough.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Now that is interesting.

Alexandra Jones: Why?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Because she thinks confidence will make me easier to understand.

Alexandra Jones: You don't believe it will?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Confidence isn't what makes me dangerous.

Alexandra Jones: What does?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Preparation.

Count Daculescu: And preparation is rarely visible until it is too late.

Alexandra Jones: You've both spoken extensively about defeating Polly once already. What happens if she defeats you at Fault Line?

For the first time, Count Daculescu's expression hardens slightly.

Voss, however, remains completely composed.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Then she will have proven something.

Alexandra Jones: That she is better than you?

Dr. Violetta Voss: On that night.

Alexandra Jones: That's a very clinical distinction.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Accuracy usually is.

Alexandra Jones: But you don't expect that outcome.

Dr. Violetta Voss: No.

Alexandra Jones: Why?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Because Polly Mason believes Fault Line is an opportunity to prove that Fallout no longer defines her.

Alexandra Jones: And you?

Dr. Violetta Voss: I believe Fault Line is an opportunity to prove Fallout was not an exception.

The crowd inside the arena can be heard reacting through the backstage feed.

Count Daculescu: One victory can be dismissed as circumstance.

He looks directly toward the camera.

Count Daculescu: Two become a pattern.

Alexandra Jones: And tonight?

Dr. Violetta Voss: Tonight is not about Polly Mason.

Alexandra Jones: It's about Moonshadow.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Precisely.

Voss steps closer to the camera.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Moonshadow, you have been Queen of the North.

Dr. Violetta Voss: You know what championship-level competition feels like.

Dr. Violetta Voss: You know how quickly one mistake changes everything.

She pauses.

Dr. Violetta Voss: So when you step into the ring with me tonight, understand something.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I am not overlooking you because of Fault Line.

Dr. Violetta Voss: I am studying you because of tonight.

Another pause.

Dr. Violetta Voss: And when the examination is finished, we'll see whether the former champion still belongs in the same conversation as the next one.

Alexandra Jones: Strong words from the number-one challenger.

Count Daculescu: Not strong words, Alexandra.

He looks toward Voss.

Count Daculescu: A diagnosis.

Voss gives him a brief sideways glance.

Dr. Violetta Voss: Don't overdo it.

Count Daculescu smiles faintly.

Alexandra Jones: Dr. Violetta Voss faces Moonshadow later tonight in our main event, and at Fault Line she challenges Polly Mason for the Queen of the North Championship.

Voss turns away first.

Count Daculescu gives Alexandra a courteous nod before following her out of the interview area.

The camera remains with Alexandra Jones as the pair disappear down the corridor.

Alexandra Jones: Tonight, Moonshadow provides the examination. At Fault Line, Polly Mason may be facing the doctor with championship gold on the line.

8. MATCH 4

The camera returns to the ring as "Honest" Abe takes his position for the fourth match of the evening.

A storybook melody begins, but its sweetness quickly gives way to a harder rhythm as Snow White and Gretel appear at the entrance.

The Fairest Hunters pause together beneath the Northern Belles lighting. Snow White looks calmly toward the ring while Gretel rolls her shoulders and stares down the aisle with considerably less patience.

They begin their walk toward ringside.

KC Rogers: The Fairest Hunters have developed into a fascinating combination. Snow White brings precision and timing. Gretel brings a willingness to turn almost any exchange into a fight.

Vera Steele: And that contrast works when they maintain structure. Neither woman needs to imitate the other.

Amara Bell: Tonight structure matters even more, because their opponents aren't coming alone.

The camera shifts toward the entrance.

A howl echoes through North Pole Arena.

The reaction immediately changes.

Lupina Redclaw emerges first, eyes fixed on the ring.

Beside her comes Moon Silver, carrying herself with colder restraint.

Behind them, members of the Wolf Pack emerge and spread out slightly across the stage before following the pair down the aisle.

KC Rogers: And there is exactly what Amara was referring to. Lupina Redclaw, Moon Silver, and the Wolf Pack.

Vera Steele: The referee has to be aware of everything outside the ring. The Fairest Hunters cannot afford to become distracted by it either.

Amara Bell: Which is easier to say from this desk than when several people are standing six feet away waiting for you to look in the wrong direction.

Snow White and Gretel stand together inside the ring as Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver enter.

The Wolf Pack remains at ringside.

Celeste Orion: The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, SNOW WHITE and GRETEL, the FAIREST HUNTERS!

The crowd responds warmly.

Celeste Orion: And their opponents, accompanied to the ring by the WOLF PACK, LUPINA REDCLAW and MOON SILVER!

"Honest" Abe moves between the teams and issues a clear warning toward the Wolf Pack before turning back to the competitors.

Gretel starts for the Fairest Hunters.

Lupina Redclaw begins opposite her.

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Gretel charges immediately and meets Lupina Redclaw near center ring.

Lupina drives a boot into Gretel's midsection and reaches toward her corner.

Moon Silver tags in quickly.

Lupina Redclaw stomps Gretel down while Moon Silver enters at speed and drives directly through her with an Alpha Strike spear.

Gretel rolls toward the ropes from the impact.

But she recovers quickly.

As Moon Silver turns, Gretel lands a forearm, drives her backward and creates enough separation to climb quickly toward the top rope.

Gretel launches.

She crashes down across Moon Silver with a Frog Splash.

"Honest" Abe immediately orders Lupina Redclaw back onto the apron.

KC Rogers: Furious opening minute! The Wolf Pack team attacked together, and Gretel answered with a Frog Splash!

Vera Steele: Gretel did something important there. She didn't remain underneath the pressure. She created space immediately after the spear and changed the vertical level of the match.

Amara Bell: But she also climbed the ropes less than sixty seconds into a match with an entire group standing at ringside. That's confident. We'll find out whether it's wise.

Minute 2

Gretel keeps the pressure on Lupina Redclaw, who has become legal again during the reset.

Lupina steps forward.

Gretel fires a Pump Kick directly into her chest and jaw.

Lupina Redclaw stumbles backward toward the ropes.

Gretel considers following but instead turns toward her own corner.

Tag.

Snow White enters.

KC Rogers: Gretel lands the Pump Kick and immediately brings in Snow White.

Vera Steele: Good decision. Successful offense is often the safest moment to tag because the opponent cannot contest the transition.

Amara Bell: And nobody has to prove they can wrestle ten consecutive minutes just because they're capable of it.

Minute 3

Snow White enters with speed and drives Lupina Redclaw toward the ropes.

Lupina slips underneath and falls to the outside.

Snow White does not hesitate.

She runs across the ring, rebounds and launches herself through the ropes with the Glass Coffin Dive.

Snow White crashes into Lupina Redclaw, sending both women into the floor near the barricade.

The crowd rises.

"Honest" Abe begins counting.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Snow White rolls back into the ring first.

Six.

Seven.

Lupina Redclaw drags herself toward the apron.

Eight.

She slides underneath the bottom rope.

KC Rogers: Lupina Redclaw beats the count at eight after the Glass Coffin Dive!

Vera Steele: That was effective offense from Snow White, but she also put herself outside with the entire Wolf Pack nearby.

Amara Bell: Which is why I wouldn't do it twice.

KC Rogers: Noted.

Minute 4

Lupina Redclaw pushes herself upright.

Snow White catches her immediately, hooks the head and drives her down with the Thorn Crown Driver, spiking Lupina with the DDT.

Snow White turns toward the ropes.

The Wolf Pack suddenly moves.

Several members crowd close to the apron.

One reaches in and grabs at Snow White's leg while another drives a quick strike into her side from outside the referee's line of sight.

Snow White stumbles away from the ropes.

"Honest" Abe turns too late.

The Wolf Pack has already separated.

KC Rogers: Come on! The Wolf Pack just got involved!

Vera Steele: And "Honest" Abe didn't see enough to call it. That interference disrupted Snow White immediately after she had taken control.

Amara Bell: Which means it worked.

KC Rogers: That doesn't make it acceptable.

Amara Bell: I didn't say it did. I said it worked.

Minute 5

Snow White gets back to her feet and immediately points toward the Wolf Pack.

"Honest" Abe warns her to stay focused on the legal opponent.

A howl erupts from ringside.

Then another.

Several members of the Wolf Pack begin howling loudly from different sides of the ring.

"Honest" Abe turns and shouts toward them.

Snow White looks in the same direction for a fraction too long.

Lupina Redclaw approaches from behind and drives Snow White forward into the ropes.

KC Rogers: The Wolf Pack is deliberately dragging the referee's attention away!

Vera Steele: And Snow White's attention with it. That's the bigger mistake. She cannot control whether the referee becomes distracted. She can control whether she does.

Amara Bell: This is what outside numbers are designed to do. The interference doesn't always need to be physical.

Minute 6

Lupina Redclaw drives Snow White toward the ropes.

Snow White reverses position and sends Lupina toward the opposite side.

Lupina rebounds.

Rather than continue running, she drops low and slides through the ropes.

Snow White approaches.

Lupina Redclaw suddenly launches herself through the ropes and collides with Snow White on the floor with a Suicide Dive.

Both women crash near the aisle.

"Honest" Abe begins his count.

One.

Two.

Three.

Snow White pushes herself upright.

Four.

She rolls underneath the bottom rope.

Lupina Redclaw follows shortly after and reaches toward her corner.

Tag to Moon Silver.

KC Rogers: Snow White gets back inside at four, but Lupina has created the opening she wanted.

Vera Steele: And she tags immediately after the dive. She spent the energy, then transferred control to the fresher partner.

Amara Bell: That's good tag wrestling. Hurt somebody, then make somebody else continue the work.

Minute 7

Moon Silver steps into the ring as Snow White attempts to stand.

Moon Silver grabs her immediately.

She lifts Snow White high.

Snow White tries to shift her weight.

Moon Silver drives her down hard with a Sitout Powerbomb.

Moon Silver remains seated for a moment before releasing and standing over her opponent.

KC Rogers: Sitout Powerbomb from Moon Silver!

Vera Steele: Snow White has absorbed several consecutive impacts now. The Wolf Pack interference disrupted her rhythm, the Suicide Dive took more out of her, and now the Powerbomb compounds it.

Amara Bell: This is the first point in the match where Snow White looks like she's reacting instead of deciding.

Minute 8

Moon Silver reaches down and attempts another Sitout Powerbomb.

Snow White blocks the lift.

Moon Silver tries again.

Snow White slips free and catches an arm.

She turns into the Gilded Grip, attempting to transition the Arm Drag into an Arm Bar.

Moon Silver rolls through before the hold can be secured.

She rises quickly.

Snow White approaches.

Moon Silver explodes forward and drives her down with a Running Shoulder Block.

Snow White lands hard.

Moon Silver walks toward her corner.

Tag to Lupina Redclaw.

KC Rogers: Snow White nearly turned that around with the Gilded Grip, but Moon Silver had the counter.

Vera Steele: Snow White found the right idea. Attack the arm and disrupt the power game. She simply couldn't secure the second phase.

Amara Bell: And almost controlling something doesn't count as controlling it.

Minute 9

Lupina Redclaw enters as Snow White forces herself upright.

Snow White catches her first.

She jumps and drives a knee into Lupina's face with the Kiss of Spite.

Lupina drops backward.

Before Snow White can capitalize, two members of the Wolf Pack jump onto the apron from opposite directions.

"Honest" Abe turns toward one.

The other reaches inside.

Snow White is struck from behind during the confusion.

Lupina Redclaw recovers and joins the attack, driving Snow White down before the Wolf Pack members retreat.

KC Rogers: Again! Again the Wolf Pack is involved!

Vera Steele: Snow White landed the better move and still lost control of the exchange because she was forced to account for multiple bodies.

Amara Bell: This is why managers and factions matter. People talk about wrestling as though the ring exists in isolation. It doesn't.

KC Rogers: They are still cheating.

Amara Bell: Yes, KC. I noticed.

Minute 10

Snow White fights back.

She catches Lupina Redclaw around the waist.

Lupina tries to block.

Snow White powers through and launches her backward with the Kiss of Life, bridging into the Dragon Suplex.

Lupina's shoulders hit the canvas.

"Honest" Abe drops toward the count.

Before he can establish position, Lupina twists out and rolls through.

Snow White rises.

Lupina catches her from behind with a Double Axehandle across the back.

Snow White drops to one knee.

She looks toward her corner.

Gretel reaches out.

Snow White dives.

Tag.

KC Rogers: Kiss of Life from Snow White, but Lupina answers and Snow White finally reaches Gretel!

Vera Steele: Important tag. Snow White has spent several minutes absorbing offense and dealing with outside interference.

Amara Bell: And Gretel has had enough time to watch exactly what the other side has been doing.

Minute 11

Gretel enters fast.

Lupina Redclaw responds by reaching toward Moon Silver.

Moon Silver tags.

The Wolf Pack pair converge.

Lupina catches Gretel with an Enzuigiri.

Moon Silver follows immediately with a Running Shoulder Block.

Gretel crashes backward.

She rolls through the impact, gets to her feet and catches Lupina Redclaw before she can fully leave the ring.

Gretel hooks her from behind and launches her overhead with a Half Nelson Suplex.

"Honest" Abe orders Lupina out as Moon Silver turns toward Gretel.

KC Rogers: Gretel walked directly into the double-team and still managed to throw Lupina with the Half Nelson Suplex!

Vera Steele: That's physical resilience, but she cannot afford to make a habit of absorbing two attacks to deliver one.

Amara Bell: It looks impressive. It also shortens your night.

Minute 12

During the reset, Lupina Redclaw becomes legal again.

Gretel meets her near center ring.

Gretel fires a Sliding Knee Strike into Lupina's upper body.

Lupina rolls backward.

Gretel follows and reaches down.

Lupina Redclaw suddenly catches the head and twists Gretel down with a Reverse Neckbreaker.

Both women move quickly.

Gretel catches Lupina rolling through and attempts a cover.

One.

Lupina Redclaw kicks out strongly.

KC Rogers: Only one!

Vera Steele: Gretel covered immediately after a mixed exchange where she had just absorbed the Reverse Neckbreaker. She didn't have enough control to secure the body.

Amara Bell: That pin was hopeful rather than convincing.

KC Rogers: You make hope sound like a tactical error.

Amara Bell: During a pin attempt, it usually is.

Minute 13

Lupina Redclaw is up first.

She catches Gretel around the head.

Gretel tries to pull away.

Lupina turns sharply and drives Gretel down with another Reverse Neckbreaker.

Gretel lands awkwardly and rolls onto her side.

Lupina stands over her, breathing harder now but clearly in control.

KC Rogers: Another Reverse Neckbreaker from Lupina Redclaw.

Vera Steele: And now she's attacking the same area repeatedly. Gretel's neck and upper back are becoming the target.

Amara Bell: Repetition isn't boring when it works.

Minute 14

Lupina Redclaw pulls Gretel toward the Wolf Pack corner.

Tag to Moon Silver.

Lupina catches Gretel and drives her down with another Reverse Neckbreaker.

Moon Silver enters immediately and crashes into Gretel with a Running Shoulder Block.

Gretel rolls toward the center.

Lupina remains inside long enough to continue the combination.

Gretel fires back.

A Pump Kick catches Lupina Redclaw cleanly and forces her backward.

"Honest" Abe finally gets Lupina out.

KC Rogers: Gretel breaks the double-team with that Pump Kick!

Vera Steele: But she is still absorbing more than she is avoiding. That's the concern now.

Amara Bell: And every time she has to fight two women, the Wolf Pack side wins the energy exchange even if Gretel lands the last strike.

Minute 15

Lupina Redclaw is again the legal competitor after another quick tag.

Lupina catches Gretel and drives her down with a Powerslam.

Moon Silver steps through but does not get a clean opportunity to add anything before "Honest" Abe begins directing her back.

Gretel uses the moment.

She gets to her knees and catches Lupina Redclaw with an Enzuigiri.

Lupina falls sideways.

Gretel tries to crawl toward Snow White.

KC Rogers: Gretel still fighting toward her corner!

Vera Steele: That Enzuigiri bought distance, but look at her movement. She's slow getting off the mat now.

Amara Bell: This is where crowd noise can become misleading. They hear a comeback. I see somebody whose recovery time is getting longer.

KC Rogers: You really do have a gift for removing optimism from a building.

Amara Bell: I didn't cause the fatigue.

Minute 16

Moon Silver tags in during the scramble.

She enters and catches Gretel, driving her head-first into the canvas with a DDT.

Gretel rolls onto her knees.

Moon Silver reaches down.

Gretel suddenly hooks her from behind.

She lifts.

Gretel spins Moon Silver through and drives her down with the K-360, the Belly-to-Back Flipping GTS catching Moon Silver violently on the way down.

The crowd erupts.

Both women collapse.

KC Rogers: K-360! Gretel found the counter!

Vera Steele: That's the best opening Gretel has created in several minutes.

Amara Bell: Now the only question is whether she has enough left to use it.

Minute 17

During the scramble, Lupina Redclaw tags back in.

Gretel sees her coming.

Lupina attempts to grab the waist.

Gretel breaks free.

She creates one step of distance and drives another Pump Kick into Lupina's face.

Lupina Redclaw falls backward into the ropes.

Gretel remains standing but bends forward with both hands on her thighs.

KC Rogers: Pump Kick lands again!

Vera Steele: But Gretel isn't following immediately. That's fatigue.

Amara Bell: Exactly. The move worked. The body didn't give her the second action quickly enough.

Minute 18

Gretel approaches.

Lupina Redclaw swings first.

Gretel ducks.

She fires a Superkick into Lupina's jaw.

Lupina staggers backward but does not fall.

Gretel steps forward.

Lupina Redclaw catches her around the head, jumps and twists.

Lupina drives Gretel into the canvas with a Tornado DDT.

Both women remain down.

KC Rogers: Superkick from Gretel, Tornado DDT from Lupina!

Vera Steele: This has become a battle of recovery now. Neither woman is avoiding enough damage to sustain control for long.

Amara Bell: Which makes the next mistake more important than the previous move.

Minute 19

Gretel and Lupina Redclaw rise almost together.

Gretel gets behind first.

She hooks Lupina.

Lupina tries to break the waistlock.

Gretel powers through.

She launches Lupina into another K-360 Belly-to-Back Flipping GTS.

Lupina collapses.

Gretel crawls over and hooks a leg.

One.

Lupina Redclaw kicks out.

The crowd groans.

Gretel sits upright in disbelief.

Lupina rolls away, grabs Gretel's head on the way through and snaps her down with another Reverse Neckbreaker.

Both women are down again.

KC Rogers: Another K-360, and Lupina Redclaw still kicks out at one!

Vera Steele: Gretel did not have enough leverage on that cover. She executed the move, but she was too exhausted to secure the shoulders properly.

Amara Bell: That's exactly what fatigue does. The audience sees the move and assumes the hard part is over. Sometimes the hard part is everything after it.

Minute 20

Gretel struggles to her feet.

Snow White stretches desperately from the apron.

Gretel takes one step toward her.

Lupina Redclaw gets there first.

She catches Gretel around the body.

Gretel attempts to widen her base.

Lupina adjusts her grip.

She lifts.

Lupina Redclaw drives Gretel hard into the canvas with a Powerslam.

Gretel lies flat.

Lupina immediately hooks both legs.

"Honest" Abe drops into position.

One.

Two.

Three.

The bell rings.

KC Rogers: Lupina Redclaw gets the three!

Moon Silver enters the ring immediately as Lupina rises.

The Wolf Pack erupts at ringside.

Snow White steps through the ropes and kneels beside Gretel.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, your winners, LUPINA REDCLAW and MOON SILVER!

LUPINA REDCLAW AND MOON SILVER DEFEATS FAIREST HUNTERS VIA PINFALL AT 20:00 MINUTE MARK.

KC Rogers: The Wolf Pack had an influence on this match, there's no denying it, but in the end Lupina Redclaw put Gretel away with that Powerslam.

Vera Steele: The outside involvement mattered, particularly during Snow White's stretch in the match. But the finish itself came from accumulated damage. Gretel absorbed repeated neckbreakers, double-team offense, a Tornado DDT and a Powerslam earlier in the match. By the twentieth minute, her recovery was visibly deteriorating.

Amara Bell: That's the distinction people won't want to make.

KC Rogers: Which distinction?

Amara Bell: The Wolf Pack interfered. That's true. Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver also wrestled an effective match. That's also true.

KC Rogers: And you don't think one invalidates the other.

Amara Bell: Facts don't cancel each other because they're inconvenient.

Inside the ring, Moon Silver raises Lupina Redclaw's arm.

The Wolf Pack gathers around the apron, howling toward the crowd.

Across the ring, Snow White helps Gretel sit up.

Vera Steele: The Fairest Hunters will have legitimate complaints about the outside involvement, but they will also have to study what happened after the interference. The Wolf Pack side repeatedly isolated one competitor and forced long defensive stretches.

KC Rogers: And for Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver, another significant victory tonight on Northern Belles.

Amara Bell: A victory.

KC Rogers: You're not adding anything?

Amara Bell: I thought I'd give you this one.

KC Rogers: I'm touched.

Amara Bell: Don't be.

The camera catches KC Rogers looking sideways toward Amara Bell as Vera Steele suppresses the faintest smile between them.

In the ring, Lupina Redclaw, Moon Silver and the Wolf Pack continue their celebration while Snow White helps Gretel back toward the ropes.

9. MAIN EVENT

The arena lights dim as the crowd rises for the main event.

A low howl rolls through North Pole Arena.

Moonshadow steps through the entrance beneath silver-blue lighting, moving slowly at first before stopping at the top of the aisle. She looks toward the ring without acknowledging the crowd, her expression controlled and predatory.

A second howl answers from somewhere deeper in the arena.

Several members of the Wolf Pack become visible near the aisle, hanging back rather than formally joining the entrance.

KC Rogers: Former Queen of the North Champion Moonshadow has been waiting for another opportunity to force herself back into that championship conversation.

Vera Steele: And this is the kind of match that can do it. Beat the woman already scheduled to challenge for the title, and you make yourself impossible to ignore.

Amara Bell: Which is why tonight matters more for Moonshadow than any speech about what she used to be. Former champion is history. Beating Voss would be current evidence.

Moonshadow slides beneath the bottom rope and immediately moves toward a neutral corner.

Celeste Orion: The following contest is tonight's main event and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, former Queen of the North Champion, MOONSHADOW!

The arena lighting changes.

The atmosphere becomes colder.

Dr. Violetta Voss appears at the entrance with Count Daculescu walking several steps behind her.

Voss shows no reaction to the crowd. Her eyes remain fixed entirely on Moonshadow.

Count Daculescu follows with a measured pace, his attention shifting briefly toward the members of the Wolf Pack near ringside before returning to the ring.

KC Rogers: Earlier tonight, Dr. Violetta Voss made it clear she does not consider this a rehearsal for Fault Line.

Vera Steele: She shouldn't. Looking past Moonshadow would be a major mistake.

Amara Bell: Especially after spending the afternoon explaining how prepared she is. Preparation becomes very easy to measure once the bell rings.

Voss steps through the ropes.

She does not pose.

She simply removes her entrance gear, passes it through the ropes to Count Daculescu and turns toward Moonshadow.

Celeste Orion: And her opponent, accompanied to the ring by COUNT DACULESCU, the number-one contender to the Queen of the North Championship, DR. VIOLETTA VOSS!

"Honest" Abe moves between both women and gives his final instructions.

Neither takes her eyes off the other.

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Dr. Violetta Voss approaches immediately and reaches for Moonshadow's waist.

Voss attempts to pull her backward into a Slingshot Suplex.

Moonshadow shifts her hips before the lift can develop.

She lands behind Voss, turns her around and clamps on a Front Facelock.

Voss tries to posture upward.

Moonshadow drops her weight and forces Voss down toward one knee.

Voss reaches for the wrist but cannot immediately break the grip.

Moonshadow keeps the hold secured and makes Voss carry her weight before finally releasing as Voss backs toward the ropes.

KC Rogers: Moonshadow anticipated the Slingshot Suplex and shut it down before Voss could establish control.

Vera Steele: Excellent use of body position. Moonshadow didn't try to overpower her. She changed her center of gravity and turned the failed lift into head-and-neck control.

Amara Bell: And that's the first variable Voss didn't get to dictate.

KC Rogers: One minute in and you're already keeping score.

Amara Bell: That's generally how competition works.

Minute 2

Voss steps forward more cautiously.

Moonshadow suddenly circles toward the ropes.

A howl erupts from ringside.

Two members of the Wolf Pack move at once.

One jumps onto the apron and draws "Honest" Abe's attention.

Another reaches through the ropes and catches Voss from behind.

Voss turns directly into a second strike as Moonshadow joins the attack.

The two outside figures retreat before the referee turns back.

Moonshadow drives Voss down and hooks the leg.

One.

Two.

Voss kicks out.

KC Rogers: The Wolf Pack just got involved in the second minute of this main event!

Vera Steele: And Moonshadow nearly converted that interference directly into a victory.

Amara Bell: Which tells you exactly why outside numbers matter.

KC Rogers: You said the same thing earlier tonight.

Amara Bell: Because apparently nobody at ringside learned anything from the earlier match.

Minute 3

Moonshadow stays on the attack.

She drives Voss backward with a forearm, pulls her toward center ring and knocks her flat.

Moonshadow steps over the body, turns and leaps.

She drops a Flying Knee Drop across Voss's upper chest.

Voss rolls toward the ropes clutching her sternum.

Moonshadow follows.

KC Rogers: Flying Knee Drop from Moonshadow! She has controlled almost all of these opening minutes.

Vera Steele: More importantly, she is not allowing Voss time to establish the slower technical pace she prefers.

Amara Bell: Voss said earlier that you don't answer speed with speed. That's true.

A pause.

Amara Bell: But you still have to answer it with something.

Minute 4

Voss backs toward the ropes.

Moonshadow closes in.

At ringside, Count Daculescu moves around the corner.

As "Honest" Abe turns briefly toward the Wolf Pack, Daculescu reaches through the ropes.

His fingers rake across Moonshadow's eyes.

Moonshadow recoils, one hand immediately covering her face.

The crowd boos.

Voss steps forward, but Moonshadow lashes out blindly.

She catches Voss, knocks her down and drops another Flying Knee Drop across the upper body.

KC Rogers: Count Daculescu just gouged the eyes of Moonshadow!

Vera Steele: And even with compromised vision, Moonshadow found enough awareness to land that knee.

Amara Bell: Now both sides have introduced outside involvement.

KC Rogers: That does not make it even.

Amara Bell: I didn't say even. I said both.

Minute 5

Moonshadow is still rubbing at one eye.

Voss attacks immediately.

She catches one arm, threads the other and drives Moonshadow down onto the canvas.

Voss turns through and locks in the Diagnosis, the Rings of Saturn trapping both arms and wrenching across the shoulders.

Moonshadow kicks violently against the mat.

"Honest" Abe drops beside her and asks if she submits.

Moonshadow shakes her head.

She twists her hips and begins inching toward the ropes.

Voss adjusts the pressure.

Moonshadow reaches.

Her boot finds the bottom rope.

"Honest" Abe orders the break.

Voss releases at four.

KC Rogers: The Diagnosis! Voss finally gets control of the match!

Vera Steele: And notice the target. Moonshadow had just used explosive upper-body offense. Voss immediately attacks the shoulders and arms.

Amara Bell: This is much more like what Voss described earlier. Reduce movement by controlling structure.

Minute 6

Voss pulls Moonshadow away from the ropes.

Moonshadow tries to turn free.

Voss steps behind her, locks around the waist and lifts.

She drives Moonshadow down with a Belly-to-Back Suplex.

Moonshadow rolls toward her side.

Voss follows and drives a forearm into the upper back.

Moonshadow attempts to rise.

Voss pulls her back down again.

KC Rogers: Dr. Violetta Voss has completely changed the pace.

Vera Steele: Exactly what she needed. Every time Moonshadow starts to rise, Voss forces her back to the mat.

Amara Bell: This is what control actually looks like. Nothing dramatic. Just fewer choices for the opponent.

Minute 7

Moonshadow crawls toward the ropes.

Count Daculescu approaches again.

He reaches upward, looking for another eye rake.

This time Moonshadow sees him.

She catches his wrist.

The crowd erupts.

Daculescu's eyes widen.

Moonshadow twists the arm away and shoves him backward from the apron.

Voss charges.

Moonshadow turns at the last instant.

Voss misses the opening strike.

Moonshadow takes her down and immediately leaps into another Flying Knee Drop.

The knee crashes across Voss's chest.

KC Rogers: Not this time! Moonshadow caught Count Daculescu, and then caught Voss!

Vera Steele: That's ring awareness. Moonshadow remembered exactly where the interference came from earlier.

Amara Bell: And Daculescu tried the same solution twice.

KC Rogers: Which you disapprove of?

Amara Bell: I disapprove of repeating something after the opponent has had time to recognize it.

Minute 8

Another howl comes from ringside.

A member of the Wolf Pack moves toward one side of the ring, shouting toward Voss.

Another moves along the opposite side.

Voss turns toward the distraction.

Then stops.

She does not follow.

Moonshadow approaches from behind.

Voss pivots suddenly, catches her arm and traps her in an Abdominal Stretch.

Moonshadow grimaces as Voss leans into the hold.

The Wolf Pack continues shouting from ringside.

Voss ignores them.

KC Rogers: Voss saw the distraction coming this time!

Vera Steele: More than that. She used it. Moonshadow expected Voss to react outward, and instead Voss turned inward and caught her.

Amara Bell: That is adjustment.

KC Rogers: You sound impressed.

Amara Bell: I am. Temporarily.

Minute 9

Voss releases the Abdominal Stretch and creates several feet of distance.

She charges.

Voss throws a Running Knee Strike.

Moonshadow sidesteps.

Voss's momentum carries her toward the ropes.

Moonshadow grabs her from behind and throws Voss through the ropes to the floor.

Voss lands hard near Count Daculescu.

"Honest" Abe begins counting.

One.

Two.

Three.

Voss pushes herself upright.

Four.

She slides back underneath the bottom rope.

KC Rogers: Moonshadow redirected that Running Knee and sent Voss all the way to the floor!

Vera Steele: Voss committed too much forward momentum. Once Moonshadow moved, there was no safe way to stop.

Amara Bell: And she got back in at four. No panic. No wasted time arguing outside.

Minute 10

Voss rises immediately after re-entering.

Moonshadow charges.

Voss catches her and locks in another Abdominal Stretch.

Moonshadow twists, throws an elbow backward and breaks the hold.

Voss turns.

Moonshadow fires forward with the Lunar Lariat.

The impact spins Voss to the canvas.

Moonshadow falls to one knee from the effort.

KC Rogers: Lunar Lariat! Moonshadow broke the hold and answered immediately!

Vera Steele: Voss is targeting the torso because she wants to compromise rotational movement. Moonshadow just proved she still has enough explosiveness to generate force through that lariat.

Amara Bell: For now.

KC Rogers: There it is.

Amara Bell: I'm not going to pretend accumulated damage stops existing because a move lands.

Minute 11

Voss again looks for the Abdominal Stretch.

She catches Moonshadow from the side and begins locking the hold.

A howl erupts.

One member of the Wolf Pack jumps onto the apron.

Another pounds the mat from ringside.

Voss turns her head.

That moment is enough.

Moonshadow breaks free, catches Voss and rolls her into a tight cover.

One.

Two.

Voss kicks out.

The crowd rises.

KC Rogers: Another two-count for Moonshadow after the Wolf Pack distraction!

Vera Steele: That is the danger of thinking you've solved an interference pattern. The form changed slightly, and Voss still gave away a fraction of concentration.

Amara Bell: Which is all Moonshadow needed.

KC Rogers: Voss has now survived multiple two-counts.

Amara Bell: Surviving them is useful.

A pause.

Amara Bell: Needing to survive them repeatedly is less encouraging.

Minute 12

Both women rise.

Voss charges first.

She lands a Running Knee Strike into Moonshadow's upper body.

Moonshadow staggers backward but stays upright.

Voss moves in again.

Moonshadow suddenly catches the head and arm.

She turns behind Voss and locks in the Lycan Lock.

The Dragon Sleeper tightens.

Voss reaches upward, trying to peel the forearm away.

Moonshadow pulls backward.

"Honest" Abe asks Voss if she submits.

Voss shakes her head.

Moonshadow leans farther back.

Voss refuses.

She shifts her hips, plants one foot and manages to roll enough to relieve the pressure before reaching toward the ropes.

KC Rogers: Lycan Lock! Moonshadow has the number-one contender trapped!

Vera Steele: This is dangerous for Voss because the Dragon Sleeper attacks the neck while restricting her ability to see where she is in relation to the ropes.

Amara Bell: And this is the first point tonight where Voss has looked genuinely close to losing control of her own body position.

Minute 13

Moonshadow does not let Voss fully recover.

She catches her again.

The Lycan Lock is reapplied.

Voss reaches backward.

Moonshadow tightens the Dragon Sleeper.

Voss turns her hips and eventually slips enough of the pressure to roll free.

Moonshadow immediately follows.

She pushes Voss onto her back and hooks both legs.

One.

Two.

Voss kicks out.

Moonshadow sits upright.

Voss rolls toward the ropes, breathing heavily.

KC Rogers: Another two-count! Moonshadow is getting closer!

Vera Steele: Voss survived the submission pressure, but she is giving up increasingly dangerous pinning positions afterward.

Amara Bell: That's the problem with escaping something like the Lycan Lock. The escape costs energy too.

KC Rogers: And Moonshadow knows it.

Amara Bell: She'd better.

Minute 14

Voss reaches the ropes and pulls herself upward.

Moonshadow approaches.

Voss throws an elbow.

Moonshadow ducks.

She drives Voss chest-first into the ropes.

Voss rebounds.

Moonshadow reaches forward and drags Voss's face across the top rope, raking the eyes against the cable.

"Honest" Abe immediately warns her.

Moonshadow releases before the referee reaches five.

Voss staggers backward, both hands covering her eyes.

Moonshadow catches her from behind.

She turns Voss down onto the canvas and stacks the shoulders tightly.

"Honest" Abe drops into position.

One.

Two.

Three.

The bell rings.

The arena erupts.

KC Rogers: MOONSHADOW HAS PINNED DR. VIOLETTA VOSS!

Voss rolls immediately toward the ropes, still holding her face.

Count Daculescu climbs onto the apron, furious with "Honest" Abe, but the referee points toward the timekeeper and signals that the decision stands.

Moonshadow rises slowly in the center of the ring.

The Wolf Pack erupts at ringside.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, former Queen of the North Champion, MOONSHADOW!

MOONSHADOW DEFEATS DR. VIOLETTA VOSS VIA PINFALL AT 14:00 MINUTE MARK.

KC Rogers: What a result! Moonshadow has just defeated the woman scheduled to challenge Polly Mason at Fault Line!

Vera Steele: And that cannot be dismissed. Moonshadow survived sustained technical control, escaped the Diagnosis, repeatedly created pinning opportunities and forced Voss to spend energy defending the Lycan Lock late in the match.

Amara Bell: And now everybody has a problem.

KC Rogers: Everybody?

Amara Bell: Voss has a problem because she just lost before a championship match.

Amara Bell: Polly Mason has a problem because another former champion just defeated her next challenger.

Amara Bell: And Moonshadow has a problem because now expectations change.

KC Rogers: You cannot simply give her the moment.

Amara Bell: I am giving her the moment.

KC Rogers: It doesn't sound like it.

Amara Bell: Moonshadow beat Dr. Violetta Voss. That's significant.

A brief pause.

Amara Bell: Now she has to prove it wasn't simply significant tonight.

KC Rogers: There it is.

Vera Steele: There was also interference on both sides. The Wolf Pack influenced several moments, and Count Daculescu tried to alter the match as well.

KC Rogers: But the official record will show one thing. Moonshadow defeated Dr. Violetta Voss.

Inside the ring, Moonshadow climbs onto the middle rope and raises one arm.

At ringside, the Wolf Pack howls toward her.

Voss now stands beside Count Daculescu, staring back into the ring.

There is no shouting.

No immediate confrontation.

Just a long, cold stare from Dr. Violetta Voss toward the woman who has just beaten her.

KC Rogers: Earlier tonight Voss said that one victory could be dismissed as circumstance and two could become a pattern.

Amara Bell: She was talking about Polly Mason.

KC Rogers: I know.

Amara Bell: I imagine she wishes you hadn't remembered.

Vera Steele: Whatever Voss planned to carry into Fault Line, she now carries something else with it. A loss to Moonshadow.

KC Rogers: And whatever Moonshadow wanted when she walked into this building tonight, she may have just forced her way directly back into the Queen of the North conversation.

The final image holds on Moonshadow standing on the ropes while Dr. Violetta Voss watches from the aisle, the implications of the result hanging over both women.

10. CLOSING

The camera returns to the commentary desk as the final images of Moonshadow's victory fade from the arena screens. Behind KC Rogers, Vera Steele, and Amara Bell, the crowd inside North Pole Arena is still buzzing from the main event.

KC Rogers: What a night it has been here at North Pole Arena. Before we go, Vera, I think we should probably acknowledge that we survived an entire broadcast with our special guest.

Amara Bell: Survived?

Vera Steele: I believe KC expected considerably more conflict.

KC Rogers: I got plenty.

Amara Bell: You became emotionally attached to several conclusions that weren't supported by enough evidence.

KC Rogers: And somehow that's my fault.

Amara Bell: I didn't say fault.

A small smile appears on Vera's face.

Vera Steele: Amara, thank you for joining us tonight. You brought a very different perspective to the desk.

Amara Bell: Thank you, Vera.

KC Rogers: That's it? She gets a sincere thank-you?

Amara Bell: She asked better questions.

KC Rogers: I walked directly into that.

Vera Steele: You did.

KC Rogers: Nevertheless, Amara Bell, thank you for being with us tonight.

Amara Bell: I enjoyed it, KC.

KC Rogers: You hid it remarkably well.

Amara Bell: Professional training.

The camera shifts briefly toward the ring as highlights begin appearing on the arena screens.

KC Rogers: And there is a lot to look back on from tonight.

The screen shows the final moments of the fourth Women's Convergent Championship qualifying Battle Royal.

KC Rogers: Twenty women entered the final qualifying Battle Royal, and after fifty exhausting minutes it was Crimson Vane standing alone after last eliminating Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang.

Vera Steele: Crimson Vane wrestled that match intelligently. She conserved energy, picked her moments and became increasingly aggressive as the field narrowed.

Amara Bell: And now the qualification is finished. Her next match matters more than the fifty minutes she just survived.

The replay changes to La Bruja Muerte driving both knees into Ruby Howl with the Codebreaker.

KC Rogers: La Bruja Muerte and Grizelda defeated Ruby Howl and Scarlett Howl, with La Bruja Muerte putting Ruby away with the Codebreaker.

Vera Steele: The Howls showed promising coordination, but La Bruja Muerte repeatedly disrupted their transitions and controlled the closing stages.

Amara Bell: Promising is still promising. Tonight, La Bruja Muerte and Grizelda won.

The screens move to the Northern Belles debut of the Beautiful Thorns.

Bella Aurelia drives the Running Bicycle Knee into Patchwork Piper before the three-count.

KC Rogers: And what a debut for the Beautiful Thorns. Bella Aurelia and Holly Vale defeated the Patchwork Dolls, despite Holly already having competed in that fifty-minute Battle Royal earlier tonight.

Vera Steele: Their tag structure impressed me. Frequent changes, clean combinations and intelligent management of Holly's workload.

Amara Bell: A good first match.

KC Rogers: We are keeping that on tape.

Amara Bell: You should. If they keep winning, it may eventually become useful evidence.

The replay changes again.

The Wolf Pack is shown interfering during the Fairest Hunters match before Lupina Redclaw eventually drives Gretel down with the winning Powerslam.

KC Rogers: Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver defeated the Fairest Hunters, though the involvement of the Wolf Pack certainly played a role throughout that match.

Vera Steele: It did. But Lupina and Moon Silver also did an effective job isolating their opponents and forcing both Snow White and Gretel through extended defensive stretches.

Amara Bell: Which becomes particularly relevant considering what awaits the Fairest Hunters later this week.

KC Rogers: We'll get to that in just a moment.

The final replay shows Moonshadow pinning Dr. Violetta Voss in the main event.

The crowd inside the arena cheers loudly again.

KC Rogers: And then our main event. Former Queen of the North Champion Moonshadow defeated the number-one contender, Dr. Violetta Voss.

Vera Steele: That result has consequences. Voss is heading toward Fault Line and a Queen of the North Championship match with Polly Mason. Tonight, Moonshadow reminded everyone that she remains capable of defeating championship-level opposition.

Amara Bell: Which means the title picture became more complicated in fourteen minutes.

KC Rogers: Earlier tonight, Polly Mason told us she would be watching.

Vera Steele: She saw her Fault Line challenger lose.

KC Rogers: And she saw another former Queen of the North Champion make a very strong argument that she still belongs near that championship.

Amara Bell: An argument.

KC Rogers: I knew you were going to say that.

Amara Bell: Winning one match earns attention. What you do after earning attention determines whether you keep it.

KC Rogers: And there is going to be plenty happening before we return next week.

A graphic appears for Dark Fable 037 — October 9.

KC Rogers: This Thursday on Dark Fable 037, two Northern Belles matches will be part of the program.

The first match graphic appears.

KC Rogers: The Queens of Despair face Lark of Sherwood and Maid Marion.

Vera Steele: That is going to be a physical confrontation, especially considering the growing tensions around the Mythic Division.

A second graphic replaces it.

KC Rogers: And the North Star Tag Team Championship will be defended when champions Blonde Bombshells face the Fairest Hunters.

Amara Bell: Which makes tonight's loss more important for Snow White and Gretel. They have only a few days to correct what went wrong before facing the champions.

KC Rogers: The Blonde Bombshells retained against the War Council at Age of Ruin. Now another challenge arrives.

The screen transitions to Polar Power 076 — October 10.

KC Rogers: Then Friday night on Polar Power 076, two more Northern Belles matches.

The first graphic appears.

KC Rogers: The Candy Shoppe Twins face the Grimm Sisters.

Vera Steele: Two established teams with very different approaches. That could have important implications for the tag-team picture.

The graphic changes.

KC Rogers: And Mina Harker goes one-on-one with La Bruja Muerte.

Amara Bell: La Bruja Muerte won tonight. Mina Harker is another woman with championship aspirations. That match should tell us something useful.

KC Rogers: And then we return next week for another enormous edition of Northern Belles.

The Northern Belles logo fills the arena screen before the first semifinal graphic appears.

KC Rogers: The Women's Convergent Championship qualifying tournament moves into the semifinals.

CRIMSON VIPER appears on one side of the graphic.

BELLONA appears on the other.

KC Rogers: Crimson Viper, the Queen of Hearts, faces Bellona.

Vera Steele: Both women have already survived the qualifying stage. From here forward, there is no Battle Royal chaos to hide inside. It becomes one opponent, one match and one route toward the final.

The graphic changes.

CRIMSON VANE appears opposite LA BRUJA MUERTE.

KC Rogers: And after both women won tonight, Crimson Vane meets La Bruja Muerte in the other semifinal.

Amara Bell: That's the match I'm most interested in.

KC Rogers: Really?

Amara Bell: Crimson Vane just survived fifty minutes. La Bruja Muerte controlled the finish of her tag match. Two very different victories. Now only one of them advances.

Vera Steele: And stylistically, neither woman will be able to wrestle the same match she did tonight.

Another graphic appears.

KC Rogers: Also next week, the Monsters of Myth face Northern Freight.

Vera Steele: A significant physical test for both teams.

The next graphic shows Emberlyn Black opposite Pearl.

KC Rogers: Emberlyn Black goes one-on-one with Pearl.

Amara Bell: Another match where opportunity matters only if somebody does something with it.

KC Rogers: You really did bring one philosophy with you tonight.

Amara Bell: Consistency is valuable.

The final graphic appears.

The Aurora Championship sits prominently between Valka and Ursa Titania.

The crowd immediately reacts.

KC Rogers: And after Valka regained the Aurora Championship from Ursa Titania last night on Polar Power, they meet again next week.

KC Rogers: Valka versus Ursa Titania.

KC Rogers: The Aurora Championship on the line.

Vera Steele: They already know they can beat each other. That changes everything psychologically. There is no illusion of invulnerability on either side.

Amara Bell: And now Valka has the more difficult position.

KC Rogers: Because she's champion?

Amara Bell: Because regaining something proves you can recover it. Keeping it proves the recovery wasn't temporary.

KC Rogers: I suppose I should have expected that.

Amara Bell: By now, yes.

The camera widens to include all three women at the desk as the crowd continues behind them.

KC Rogers: Fifty minutes of Battle Royal competition. A successful Northern Belles debut for the Beautiful Thorns. Victories for La Bruja Muerte, Lupina Redclaw and Moon Silver. And in our main event, Moonshadow defeats the woman headed toward a Queen of the North Championship match at Fault Line.

Vera Steele: Tonight changed several conversations in this division. Next week, some of those conversations become decisions.

KC Rogers: Amara, one last chance. Did Northern Belles impress you tonight?

Amara Bell looks toward KC for a moment.

Amara Bell: Ask me again after next week.

KC Rogers: I should have known.

Vera Steele: You absolutely should have.

KC Rogers: For Vera Steele, for our special guest Amara Bell, and for everyone behind the scenes here at North Pole Arena, I'm KC Rogers.

The camera begins pulling away from the commentary desk and rising above the crowd.

KC Rogers: Thank you for joining us for another night of Northern Belles.

The Northern Belles logo fills the screen.

KC Rogers: THE NORTH BELONGS TO THE BOLD.

POST CREDITS SCENE: “OLD WOUNDS”

The arena is almost empty now.

The lights over North Pole Arena have been reduced to their working level. Production cases are being rolled toward the loading area. Ring crew members strip cables from around the commentary position while technicians dismantle lighting equipment above the entrance stage.

Most of the audience is gone.

Most of the performers are too.

One unattended production camera remains active near the backstage corridor, capturing whatever happens to pass through its field of view.

At the far end of the hallway, Selena "Widow's Fang" Blackfang and Talia Nocturne emerge from the locker room area with their bags over their shoulders.

Neither woman is dressed for television anymore.

They are leaving.

A few yards ahead of them stands Count Vlad Dragomir.

The two HCW visitors slow immediately.

Selena says something to Talia.

The camera is too far away to capture it.

They approach Vlad.

The conversation lasts less than a minute.

There is no aggression.

Quite the opposite.

Selena speaks first, her usual hard expression giving way to something noticeably more respectful.

Talia adds something of her own.

Vlad listens.

He answers quietly.

Whatever is said, both women give him a respectful nod.

Selena offers her hand.

Vlad takes it.

Talia does the same.

There is history in the exchange even if the camera cannot hear any of it.

Vlad says something final before turning and continuing down the corridor.

Selena watches him leave for several seconds.

Then she adjusts the strap of her bag.

Talia Nocturne: Ready?

Selena Blackfang: Yeah.

They start walking again.

They make it perhaps twenty feet.

Then both stop.

Standing ahead of them is Goldie Locks.

No championship belt.

No wrestling gear.

No entrance lights.

Just the Northern Belles General Manager standing in the middle of the backstage corridor with her arms folded.

For several seconds, nobody speaks.

Talia Nocturne slowly lowers her bag from her shoulder.

Selena Blackfang does not.

Instead, a smile gradually appears.

Not friendly.

Familiar.

Selena Blackfang: Well.

Goldie Locks: Selena.

Her eyes move toward Talia.

Goldie Locks: Talia.

Talia Nocturne: Goldie.

Another silence.

A production worker pushing a road case notices the three women ahead and immediately changes direction.

Selena looks around the corridor.

Selena Blackfang: General Manager now.

Goldie Locks: That's right.

Selena Blackfang: Funny how things change.

Goldie Locks: Some things do.

Goldie looks directly at her.

Goldie Locks: Some things don't.

The smile remains on Selena's face, but her eyes harden.

Talia takes half a step closer to her partner.

Goldie Locks: I hope you both enjoyed your evening.

Selena Blackfang: We did.

Goldie Locks: Good.

A beat.

Goldie Locks: And I hope you discovered something while you were here.

Selena Blackfang: What's that?

Goldie Locks: That the NPCW roster isn't quite as easy to walk through as you may have thought.

The smile disappears from Selena's face for just a moment.

Then it returns.

Sharper.

Selena Blackfang: I was in the final two.

Goldie Locks: You were.

Selena Blackfang: Nineteen other women in that Battle Royal.

Goldie Locks: Twenty total.

Selena Blackfang: And I was the last one standing opposite Crimson Vane.

Goldie Locks: Yes.

Selena spreads one hand slightly.

Selena Blackfang: Doesn't sound much like I struggled with your roster.

Goldie Locks: You were still defeated by Crimson Vane.

Silence.

The tension changes instantly.

Talia turns her head slightly toward Selena.

Selena takes one slow step forward.

Goldie does not move.

They are now only a few feet apart.

Selena Blackfang: You always did know how to find the irritating part of a conversation.

Goldie Locks: And you always preferred conversations where nobody mentioned the result.

Selena Blackfang: Results?

Selena gives a quiet laugh.

Selena Blackfang: You want to talk to me about results?

Goldie's expression tightens.

Talia watches both women carefully.

Goldie Locks: We're talking about tonight.

Selena Blackfang: Are we?

The smile fades completely now.

Selena Blackfang: Because when you look at me, Goldie, I don't think you're thinking about tonight.

A long pause.

Selena Blackfang: I think you're remembering Boxing Day.

Goldie Locks says nothing.

Selena Blackfang: Wrestlefest.

Still nothing.

Selena Blackfang: You put your career on the line.

Talia Nocturne: Selena.

It is quiet.

Not a warning exactly.

But close.

Selena never looks away from Goldie.

Selena Blackfang: And I beat you.

Goldie Locks: I remember.

Selena Blackfang: I would hope so.

Goldie Locks: I remember all of it.

Selena Blackfang: Good.

Goldie Locks: Including everything that came before it.

That lands differently.

Selena's jaw tightens.

Goldie looks briefly toward Talia.

Goldie Locks: I remember HCW.

Goldie Locks: I remember you two.

Goldie Locks: I remember Korbi Kong.

Goldie Locks: I remember exactly how brave the three of you were when you decided one woman wasn't enough of a numbers advantage.

Talia's expression hardens.

Talia Nocturne: Be careful.

Goldie Locks: I'm not the one visiting somebody else's building.

The corridor goes silent again.

Even the distant production noise seems smaller now.

Selena steps closer.

Almost nose-to-nose.

Selena Blackfang: You think that desk changed you?

Goldie Locks: No.

Selena Blackfang: You think putting "General Manager" beside your name means anything to me?

Goldie Locks: No.

Selena Blackfang: Good.

Goldie Locks: But it should mean something to you while you're standing in my division.

That finally wipes the smile completely away.

Talia moves alongside Selena now.

The old visual is unmistakable.

Two women standing opposite Goldie Locks.

Just like before.

Goldie notices it too.

She glances from one to the other.

Goldie Locks: Familiar.

Talia Nocturne: Don't.

Goldie Locks: I'm just appreciating the nostalgia.

Selena gives a quiet breath through her nose.

Selena Blackfang: You have gotten comfortable.

Goldie Locks: I've gotten responsible.

Selena Blackfang: Is that what retirement feels like?

That word hangs there.

Retirement.

Goldie's eyes narrow.

Selena knows exactly what she has done.

Selena Blackfang: Because you seem comfortable with it.

Goldie Locks: You won that match.

Selena Blackfang: I know.

Goldie Locks: You ended my active career.

Selena Blackfang: I know that too.

Goldie Locks: And I've never disputed either fact.

Selena studies her.

Goldie Locks: But don't confuse ending my wrestling career with erasing me.

For the first time, Selena does not immediately answer.

Goldie Locks: I'm still here.

Goldie Locks: You're standing in a division I run.

Goldie Locks: You entered one of my qualifying matches.

Goldie Locks: You made the final two.

A slight nod.

Goldie Locks: And you lost.

Selena's eyes flash.

Talia subtly reaches across and touches Selena's forearm.

Just once.

Enough.

Selena looks down at the hand.

Then back at Goldie.

The smile returns.

Colder than before.

Selena Blackfang: Keep enjoying your retirement, Goldie.

Goldie Locks: I intend to.

Selena Blackfang: Good.

She takes a small step backward.

Selena Blackfang: You earned it.

The meaning behind the words is unmistakable.

Goldie does not react.

Selena Blackfang: Come on, Talia.

Talia lifts her bag again.

She walks past Goldie first.

For a moment, Selena remains where she is.

The two former rivals stare at one another.

Neither blinks.

Then Selena steps past.

She stops beside Goldie's shoulder.

Does not look at her.

Selena Blackfang: Some results last forever.

Goldie Locks: And some people spend forever talking about the last one because they don't like the newest one.

Selena's head turns slightly.

She almost stops.

Talia Nocturne: Selena.

Another beat.

Then Selena continues walking.

Talia follows beside her.

Neither woman looks back.

Goldie Locks remains alone in the corridor, watching them disappear through the backstage exit.

Only after the door closes does she release the breath she had been holding.

Her expression never softens.

A production assistant appears at the far end of the hallway.

Production Assistant: Maam? We're almost cleared out.

Goldie Locks: I'll be there in a minute.

The assistant nods and disappears.

Goldie looks once more toward the door through which Selena Blackfang and Talia Nocturne departed.

Then she turns in the opposite direction.

The unattended camera continues recording for several seconds after everyone has left the frame.

Static hallway.

Road cases.

Half-dismantled Northern Belles signage.

Then the feed cuts to black.
