11. MATCH 6

The broadcast returns to the North Pole Arena, where the atmosphere has reached a fever pitch following an extraordinary evening of Halloween Horror action.

Orange and crimson spotlights sweep across the packed audience as the enormous entrance screen displays the two gleaming NPCW Universal Tag Team Championship belts.

The championship graphics are surrounded by images of jagged claws, shattered stone, and enormous monstrous silhouettes.

Inside the ring, referee 'Slow-Count' Sam is checking the turnbuckles and preparing for what promises to be an extremely physical confrontation.

Johnny Michaels: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Polar Power Halloween Horror! We've already witnessed one successful championship defense tonight, with Wilber 'Terrorfang' Townsend retaining the Northern Lights Championship against Jasper Fang. But now we turn our attention to the Universal Tag Team Championships, and I have to tell you, Eddie, I don't know whether this ring was designed to withstand what we're about to see!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, somebody had better check the insurance policy, Johnny! We're about to put four absolute monsters inside the same wrestling ring! And I'll tell you something else. The Crimson Maulers have been waiting for an opportunity like this, and I think they're going to make the most of it!"

Johnny Michaels: "The reigning champions, Karnyx and Varak, have established themselves as one of the most physically dominant teams in NPCW. Representing the Primal Expanse, the Ultimate Beasts have built their reputation around overwhelming strength, ferocious offense, and an extraordinary ability to absorb punishment."

Eddie Ellington: "All true! But the Crimson Maulers aren't intimidated by size, Johnny! Brakk Bloodmaw and Vereyk Nightclaw are every bit as dangerous! And with Count Daculescu directing them, they've got the kind of leadership that can turn a championship opportunity into a championship victory!"

Johnny Michaels: "We heard from Count Daculescu earlier tonight during our House of Night Ascends interview. He made it very clear that the Maulers intend to take those championships away from the Primal Expanse. But we also heard from Yeti, who confidently predicted that the Ultimate Beasts would retain their titles."

Eddie Ellington: "Well, Yeti can make all the predictions he likes! He's got his own problems in that Fatal Four-Way Hell in a Cell later tonight! If I were him, I'd be more concerned about the three monsters waiting for him than telling Brakk Bloodmaw and Vereyk Nightclaw what they can't accomplish!"

The arena lights suddenly darken.

A sinister gothic melody echoes through the building as the entrance screen fills with images of a blood-red moon rising above an ancient castle.

Thick crimson smoke rolls across the entrance stage.

COUNT DACULESCU emerges first.

The aristocratic manager wears an immaculate dark suit, his expression one of calm superiority. He pauses beneath the entrance lights and adjusts his cuffs before turning toward the curtain.

He raises one hand.

And from the crimson darkness emerge the CRIMSON MAULERS!

BRAKK BLOODMAW steps forward with the lumbering confidence of a creature accustomed to overwhelming everything in his path. His enormous frame and predatory expression immediately draw attention from the audience.

Beside him stands VEREYK NIGHTCLAW, an equally imposing figure whose movements convey a chilling combination of power and calculating aggression.

The two challengers pause at the top of the ramp, surveying the audience with undisguised contempt.

Count Daculescu gestures toward the ring.

The Maulers begin their advance.

Brakk walks with deliberate, heavy strides, while Vereyk occasionally turns toward the crowd, baring his teeth at spectators who dare to shout insults.

Upon reaching ringside, Count Daculescu pauses and offers a few quiet instructions.

Brakk responds with a predatory grin.

Vereyk nods once.

Then both men climb onto the apron and enter the ring.

They stand side by side in the center of the squared circle, staring toward the entrance stage.

Johnny Michaels: "And here come the challengers! Brakk Bloodmaw and Vereyk Nightclaw, accompanied by Count Daculescu! These two possess devastating power, but what makes them especially dangerous is their willingness to work together to dismantle opponents. They have an enormous opportunity tonight!"

Eddie Ellington: "LOOK AT THEM! Those are CHAMPIONSHIP-CALIBER MONSTERS, Johnny! You think Brakk Bloodmaw is going to be impressed by somebody being bigger than him? You think Vereyk Nightclaw is going to back away because somebody growls? These men aren't here to admire the championships! THEY'RE HERE TO TAKE THEM!"

The gothic music cuts out.

For a brief moment, the arena falls into darkness.

Then an enormous beastly roar echoes throughout the building!

Thunderous drums begin pounding as the entrance screen displays the insignia of the PRIMAL EXPANSE.

Images of ancient forests, frozen mountains, and enormous prehistoric creatures flash across the screen.

Green and icy-blue spotlights illuminate the entrance stage.

MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER emerges from the curtain, wearing an enormous grin.

He raises both arms toward the audience before turning and gesturing dramatically toward the entrance.

Then the reigning champions appear!

KARNYX and VARAK step onto the stage together, the NPCW Universal Tag Team Championships displayed proudly across their shoulders.

The ULTIMATE BEASTS stand motionless for several moments, surveying the enormous crowd before releasing a synchronized roar.

Marcus laughs triumphantly.

The champions begin marching toward the ring.

Karnyx moves with the confidence of an unstoppable force, his enormous frame emphasizing the power advantage that has defined so many of the team's victories.

Beside him, Varak carries himself with equally intimidating authority, occasionally striking one enormous fist against his chest.

Marcus walks between them, loudly proclaiming their superiority to anyone within earshot.

Inside the ring, the Crimson Maulers move toward the ropes.

Brakk and Vereyk stare directly at the approaching champions.

Neither team appears willing to show the slightest sign of weakness.

Marcus climbs onto the apron and holds the ropes apart as Karnyx and Varak enter.

The two teams immediately move toward one another.

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam rushes between them, ordering the competitors back toward their respective corners.

Johnny Michaels: "HERE COME THE CHAMPIONS! KARNYX AND VARAK! THE ULTIMATE BEASTS! And just look at the size of these four competitors! This could be one of the most physically demanding Universal Tag Team Championship matches we've ever witnessed!"

Eddie Ellington: "And look at the expressions on the faces of the Crimson Maulers! They're not frightened! They're not impressed! They're READY! I like that! Count Daculescu has prepared his men for a war, and now we're about to find out whether the Ultimate Beasts are as invincible as they think they are!"

Marcus steps down from the apron as the champions reluctantly hand their title belts to the referee.

'Slow-Count' Sam holds both championships high above his head.

The crowd erupts.

Celeste Orion steps into the center of the ring with her microphone.

Celeste Orion: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! The following contest is a TAG TEAM MATCH scheduled for ONE FALL, and it is for the NPCW UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!"

The audience roars.

Celeste Orion: "Introducing first, the challengers! Accompanied to the ring by COUNT DACULESCU! Representing the HOUSE OF NIGHT! The team of BRAKK BLOODMAW and VEREYK NIGHTCLAW... THE CRIMSON MAULERS!"

Brakk throws both arms outward while Vereyk releases a threatening roar. Count Daculescu applauds from ringside.

Celeste Orion: "And their opponents! Accompanied to the ring by MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER! Representing the PRIMAL EXPANSE! The reigning and defending NPCW UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! KARNYX and VARAK... THE ULTIMATE BEASTS!"

The crowd explodes as Karnyx and Varak raise their arms and release enormous roars.

Celeste exits the ring.

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam completes his final inspection as the competitors take their positions.

Karnyx volunteers to begin for the champions.

Across the ring, Brakk Bloodmaw steps forward for the challengers.

The two monsters advance toward the center of the ring.

The referee signals for the bell!

DING! DING! DING!

Minute 1

Karnyx and Brakk Bloodmaw approach cautiously, the two enormous competitors studying one another before committing to the opening exchange.

Brakk suddenly lunges forward, catching the champion with a heavy forearm and forcing him backward.

At ringside, Count Daculescu begins moving along the apron.

As Karnyx attempts to regain his footing near the ropes, the Count seizes an opportunity while referee 'Slow-Count' Sam is partially obscured by the larger competitors.

Daculescu reaches through the ropes and delivers a sharp, concealed blow to Karnyx's lower back!

The champion recoils!

Brakk immediately capitalizes, driving another powerful strike across his opponent's upper body before forcing him toward the challengers' corner.

Johnny Michaels: "AND WE'VE ALREADY GOT TROUBLE! COUNT DACULESCU JUST TOOK A CHEAP SHOT AT KARNYX! The referee didn't see it, and Brakk Bloodmaw is immediately taking advantage! That is certainly not how this championship match should begin!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, don't be ridiculous! Count Daculescu was simply making sure his client had a fair opportunity to establish himself! Karnyx is built like a mountain, Johnny! A little encouragement from ringside isn't going to hurt him! Besides, look at Brakk! He's taking the fight directly to the champion!"

Karnyx finally breaks away and retreats toward his corner.

Varak extends his hand.

TAG!

Varak enters as Karnyx moves onto the apron.

Minute 2

Varak charges immediately toward Brakk Bloodmaw, determined to prevent the challengers from establishing an early advantage.

He catches Brakk with a heavy blow before driving forward and striking him across the face with a brutal forearm.

Karnyx briefly reenters the ring, joining his partner in an early burst of coordinated offense.

Varak delivers a vicious SPIKE IN THE FACE, forcing Brakk backward!

Karnyx follows by wrapping his enormous arms around the challenger's head and applying a crushing CHINLOCK!

But Brakk refuses to remain trapped.

He fights free, catches Varak moving forward, and drives him into the canvas with a tremendous FANGBREAKER SLAM!

The powerful powerslam shakes the ring!

Johnny Michaels: "THE CHAMPIONS ARE DOUBLE-TEAMING EARLY! VARAK WITH THAT BRUTAL STRIKE, KARNYX WITH THE CHINLOCK! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW COUNTERS WITH THE FANGBREAKER SLAM! What an extraordinary display of power! Both teams are already demonstrating just how dangerous they can be!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND LOOK AT BRAKK! TWO MONSTERS COME AFTER HIM, AND HE STILL MANAGES TO PLANT ONE OF THEM! That's the kind of strength I admire! Varak thought he could overwhelm the challenger, but Brakk Bloodmaw just introduced him to the canvas!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam orders Karnyx back to the apron as Brakk and Varak continue battling.

Minute 3

Brakk Bloodmaw attempts to maintain control after the powerslam, but Varak rises with remarkable speed.

The champion drives a powerful shoulder into Brakk's abdomen and forces him toward the center of the ring.

As the challenger attempts to recover, Varak secures a firm grip around his upper body.

With an impressive demonstration of strength, Varak lifts Brakk off his feet!

POWERSLAM!

Brakk crashes heavily into the canvas!

The enormous challenger rolls onto his side, absorbing the punishment while Varak rises and pounds his chest.

Johnny Michaels: "WHAT A POWERSLAM FROM VARAK! That's an extraordinary amount of weight to lift, and the champion made it look almost effortless! The Ultimate Beasts are demonstrating exactly why their power has made them such successful tag team champions!"

Eddie Ellington: "Impressive, certainly! But don't start celebrating yet! Brakk Bloodmaw isn't somebody you put away with one powerslam! He's absorbed plenty of punishment before, and I guarantee he's got an answer coming!"

Minute 4

Varak advances toward Brakk Bloodmaw, determined to continue the attack.

He catches the challenger around the body and delivers another powerful POWERSLAM!

Brakk crashes to the mat but manages to turn onto his side before Varak can follow up.

As Varak approaches again, Brakk catches him with a sudden strike and forces the champion forward.

He traps Varak's head between his legs, reaches down to secure both arms, and lifts the enormous competitor!

MAULER DRIVER!

The devastating package piledriver drives Varak toward the canvas!

The audience erupts at the incredible display of strength!

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER POWERSLAM FROM VARAK! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW HAS ANSWERED WITH THE MAULER DRIVER! WHAT A PACKAGE PILEDRIVER! I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE THE STRENGTH REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THAT MANEUVER ON SOMEBODY THE SIZE OF VARAK!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S IT! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! Brakk Bloodmaw just folded one of the Universal Tag Team Champions in half! You think these Crimson Maulers are intimidated by size? NOT A CHANCE! They've got power of their own, and they're going to use it!"

Minute 5

Both competitors struggle upright following the brutal exchange.

Varak catches Brakk Bloodmaw with a heavy forearm before securing a grip around his waist.

With a tremendous effort, he lifts the challenger and drives him backward!

SHATTERING SUPLEX!

Brakk crashes onto the canvas!

But as Varak attempts to continue the attack, Count Daculescu moves close to the apron.

The aristocratic manager produces a concealed object and delivers a sharp blow to Varak while referee 'Slow-Count' Sam is occupied checking Brakk's position near the ropes!

Varak recoils, momentarily stunned by the illegal strike.

Brakk uses the opportunity to recover and move toward his corner.

Johnny Michaels: "SHATTERING SUPLEX FROM VARAK! BUT WAIT A MINUTE! COUNT DACULESCU HAS JUST STRUCK THE CHAMPION WITH A FOREIGN OBJECT! THAT'S THE SECOND TIME HE'S BECOME PHYSICALLY INVOLVED IN THIS MATCH! THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, please! Johnny, you can't prove anything! Count Daculescu is a distinguished gentleman! If he's carrying something in his pocket, that's his business! Besides, Varak has been throwing Brakk around for five minutes! Perhaps he should spend less time worrying about ringside and more time protecting himself!"

Brakk extends his hand toward Vereyk Nightclaw.

TAG!

Vereyk enters the ring as Brakk retreats to the apron.

Minute 6

Vereyk Nightclaw advances toward Varak, immediately attempting to exploit the punishment inflicted by his partner and manager.

Varak throws a heavy forearm, but Vereyk absorbs the blow and secures both arms around the champion's enormous torso.

WING CRUSHER!

The crushing bearhug compresses Varak's ribs as Vereyk tightens his grip!

Varak struggles against the pressure, attempting to pry his opponent's arms apart.

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam moves closer, checking whether the champion wishes to submit.

Varak shakes his head emphatically!

HE REFUSES TO QUIT!

Vereyk maintains the pressure for several more moments before Varak finally manages to force enough separation to escape.

Johnny Michaels: "WING CRUSHER FROM VEREYK NIGHTCLAW! WHAT A POWERFUL BEARHUG! Varak is an incredibly strong competitor, but Vereyk has him trapped in a hold that places tremendous pressure on the ribs and lower back! And remember, those are areas already subjected to considerable punishment!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S BEAUTIFUL! Look at the strength of Vereyk Nightclaw! He's squeezing one of the Ultimate Beasts like a tube of toothpaste! Varak can be as stubborn as he likes, but every second in that hold takes something out of him! That's intelligent wrestling!"

Vereyk releases the hold and turns toward his corner.

TAG!

Brakk Bloodmaw returns to the match.

Minute 7

Brakk Bloodmaw approaches the weakened Varak, looking to capitalize on the damage inflicted by the Wing Crusher.

Varak suddenly surges forward with a powerful shoulder tackle, forcing Brakk backward.

He drives the challenger toward the corner before climbing onto the ropes.

The crowd rises as the enormous champion steadies himself!

APEX DESCENT!

Varak launches from the top rope and connects with a devastating flying shoulder clothesline!

Brakk crashes onto the canvas!

But the challenger struggles upright before Varak can establish a cover.

As the champion advances, Brakk catches him around the upper body, lifts him into position, and drives him into the mat!

BLOODMOON DRIVER!

The Michinoku Driver rattles the ring!

Johnny Michaels: "APEX DESCENT! VARAK JUST LAUNCHED HIMSELF OFF THE TOP ROPE! WHAT A SPECTACULAR SHOULDER CLOTHESLINE! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW RESPONDS WITH THE BLOODMOON DRIVER! WHAT AN EXCHANGE! These two enormous competitors are delivering maneuvers that would be impressive from men half their size!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND LOOK AT BRAKK! He's still standing! Varak flies off the ropes like a runaway locomotive, and Brakk answers by driving him into the mat! I love this team, Johnny! They're not intimidated by anything!"

Varak rolls toward his corner and reaches for his partner.

TAG!

Karnyx returns to the contest!

Minute 8

Karnyx storms into the ring and advances directly toward Brakk Bloodmaw.

The champion catches Brakk with a heavy forearm before forcing him toward the center of the ring.

He secures the challenger across his body and drives him down with a devastating CRUSHING BACKBREAKER!

Brakk cries out as his lower back collides with the champion's knee.

But the challenger refuses to remain down.

He struggles upright, catches Karnyx as the champion advances, and hooks him into position.

MAULER DRIVER!

Another brutal package piledriver sends Karnyx crashing toward the canvas!

The audience erupts at the exchange!

Johnny Michaels: "CRUSHING BACKBREAKER FROM KARNYX! BUT BRAKK COMES RIGHT BACK WITH ANOTHER MAULER DRIVER! Incredible! Both teams are showing extraordinary strength and resilience! We're witnessing a championship match built around some of the most punishing offense imaginable!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND THE CHALLENGERS ARE MATCHING THE CHAMPIONS MOVE FOR MOVE! That's what I love about this, Johnny! The Ultimate Beasts are accustomed to overpowering everybody they face, but the Crimson Maulers aren't giving them that luxury!"

Brakk rolls toward his corner.

TAG!

Vereyk Nightclaw enters the ring.

Minute 9

Vereyk Nightclaw moves directly toward Karnyx, attempting to capitalize on the effects of the Mauler Driver.

But Karnyx suddenly catches him by the upper body!

The champion plants his enormous feet, tightens his grip, and lifts Vereyk with one arm!

ONE-HAND TOSS!

Vereyk is launched across the ring and crashes heavily onto the canvas!

The crowd erupts!

Karnyx rises and releases a monstrous roar as Vereyk struggles to regain his footing.

Johnny Michaels: "OH MY GOODNESS! KARNYX JUST THREW VEREYK NIGHTCLAW ACROSS THE RING WITH ONE HAND! ONE HAND! THAT IS AN EXTRAORDINARY DISPLAY OF RAW POWER! I don't care how large your opponent is, lifting and throwing somebody like that requires tremendous strength!"

Eddie Ellington: "All right, I'll admit THAT was impressive! Karnyx just tossed Vereyk like he was throwing out a bag of rubbish! But let's not forget, Vereyk Nightclaw is no ordinary competitor! He'll recover, and when he does, Karnyx had better be ready!"

Vereyk scrambles toward his corner.

TAG!

Brakk Bloodmaw returns to the ring!

Minute 10

Karnyx and Brakk Bloodmaw circle cautiously, both competitors showing the effects of the punishment already sustained.

The two monsters lock up near the center of the ring, each attempting to establish leverage.

Neither can force the other backward.

Karnyx attempts to secure a headlock, but Brakk breaks the grip.

Brakk tries to establish a waistlock, but the champion plants his feet and refuses to be lifted.

For several moments, neither competitor gains a decisive advantage.

Then Brakk suddenly changes tactics.

He slips beneath an attempted forearm, rises sharply, and drives a devastating BLOODMAW UPPERCUT into Karnyx's jaw!

The champion staggers backward!

Johnny Michaels: "BLOODMAW UPPERCUT! WHAT A STRIKE FROM BRAKK BLOODMAW! We saw both men struggling to establish control, and ultimately it was the challenger who found the opening! That uppercut caught Karnyx directly under the jaw!"

Eddie Ellington: "THERE YOU GO! THAT'S THE WAY! Why waste energy trying to lift somebody the size of Karnyx when you can simply punch him in the face? Brakk Bloodmaw understands efficiency, Johnny! That's intelligent wrestling!"

Minute 11

Brakk Bloodmaw presses forward following the uppercut, forcing Karnyx toward the challengers' corner.

Vereyk Nightclaw steps through the ropes, joining his partner in another aggressive double-team attack.

Brakk catches Karnyx around the upper body and delivers a powerful FANGBREAKER SLAM!

The powerslam drives the champion into the canvas!

Vereyk immediately follows, pulling Karnyx upright and trapping him in the crushing WING CRUSHER bearhug!

Karnyx struggles against the pressure, his enormous arms attempting to force the grip apart.

But the champion suddenly plants his feet and powers free!

He catches Vereyk and launches him away with another tremendous ONE-HAND TOSS!

The crowd erupts!

Johnny Michaels: "FANGBREAKER SLAM FROM BRAKK! WING CRUSHER FROM VEREYK! THE CHALLENGERS ARE WORKING TOGETHER BEAUTIFULLY! BUT LOOK AT KARNYX! HE BREAKS FREE AND THROWS VEREYK ACROSS THE RING AGAIN! WHAT EXTRAORDINARY STRENGTH!"

Eddie Ellington: "That's a tremendous escape, I'll give him that! But look at what the Crimson Maulers are doing! They're forcing Karnyx to use every ounce of strength just to survive! That's going to take its toll eventually! Even monsters get tired, Johnny!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam orders Vereyk back toward his corner as Brakk continues the contest.

Minute 12

Karnyx catches Brakk Bloodmaw attempting to advance and drives a heavy forearm into his upper chest.

He secures the challenger across his body and lifts him into position.

CRUSHING BACKBREAKER!

Brakk crashes across the champion's knee before collapsing to the canvas!

But the challenger manages to recover before Karnyx can capitalize.

As the champion approaches, Brakk catches him, lifts him into position, and executes another devastating BLOODMOON DRIVER!

Both men crash heavily onto the mat!

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER CRUSHING BACKBREAKER! BUT BRAKK ANSWERS WITH THE BLOODMOON DRIVER! What a remarkable exchange! Twelve minutes into this championship match, and neither team can establish a decisive advantage! Both competitors are absorbing tremendous punishment!"

Eddie Ellington: "And that's exactly why the Crimson Maulers are so dangerous! Every time the champions think they've got control, Brakk finds another way to hurt them! Count Daculescu has prepared these men perfectly!"

Minute 13

Karnyx rises near his corner, clearly determined to change the momentum.

He catches Brakk Bloodmaw with a powerful forearm before driving him toward the champions' side of the ring.

Varak steps through the ropes to assist.

Karnyx suddenly reaches forward and rakes Brakk's eyes!

The challenger recoils as referee 'Slow-Count' Sam issues an immediate warning.

Varak capitalizes, securing a waistlock around the blinded opponent.

SHATTERING SUPLEX!

Brakk crashes backward onto the canvas!

But he refuses to remain trapped.

As Varak attempts to pull him upright, Brakk counters with a tremendous burst of strength and drives him down with the BLOODMAW BOMB!

The ring shakes from the impact!

Johnny Michaels: "EYE RAKE FROM KARNYX! SHATTERING SUPLEX FROM VARAK! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW COUNTERS WITH THE BLOODMAW BOMB! This is extraordinary! Both teams are taking every opportunity to punish their opponents, and the referee is having a difficult time maintaining order!"

Eddie Ellington: "DID YOU SEE THAT COUNTER?! Brakk was practically blinded, and he STILL found the strength to deliver that Bloodmaw Bomb! That's remarkable! And somebody ought to tell the champions that scratching a man's eyes isn't going to make him any less dangerous!"

Count Daculescu applauds from ringside while Marcus the Beastmaster shouts instructions toward his champions.

Minute 14

Karnyx immediately returns to the offensive, advancing toward the recovering Brakk Bloodmaw.

Varak remains nearby, prepared to assist his partner.

Brakk attempts to defend himself, but Karnyx catches him around the upper body.

With another extraordinary demonstration of strength, the champion lifts Brakk and launches him across the ring!

ONE-HAND TOSS!

Brakk crashes onto the canvas!

Varak moves toward the fallen challenger but cannot establish another clean offensive maneuver before the referee orders him back toward his corner.

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER ONE-HAND TOSS FROM KARNYX! AND THIS TIME HE'S THROWING BRAKK BLOODMAW! That is absolutely astonishing! The champions are using their combined strength to keep the challenger isolated, and Brakk is absorbing an incredible amount of punishment!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, I'll give Karnyx credit! That was impressive! But remember, Johnny, Brakk Bloodmaw is the kind of competitor who can survive punishment that would finish most ordinary wrestlers! And if he gets one opportunity to turn this around, he'll make the champions regret every second of this attack!"

Varak reluctantly retreats to the apron as Karnyx continues stalking the challenger.

Minute 15

Karnyx and Brakk Bloodmaw advance cautiously, both competitors visibly exhausted by the punishing contest.

Neither immediately commits to an attack.

Brakk attempts to establish a collar-and-elbow tie-up, but Karnyx shifts his position and catches the challenger with a sudden EYE RAKE!

Brakk recoils, covering his face.

But the challenger immediately retaliates!

He forces his way through the momentary disadvantage, catches Karnyx around the upper body, and lifts him into position.

BLOODMOON DRIVER!

Karnyx crashes violently into the mat!

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER EYE RAKE FROM KARNYX! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW RESPONDS WITH THE BLOODMOON DRIVER! WHAT A DEVASTATING COUNTER! Both competitors are showing tremendous determination, but these illegal tactics are becoming increasingly frequent!"

Eddie Ellington: "And that's what happens when the pressure starts getting to people! Karnyx knows he's dealing with somebody who can match his strength! So he starts reaching for the eyes! Meanwhile, Brakk keeps answering with actual wrestling moves! You tell me which team looks better prepared!"

Karnyx struggles toward his corner and extends his hand.

TAG!

Varak returns to the match.

Minute 16

Varak charges toward Brakk Bloodmaw, but the challenger immediately catches him with a powerful strike.

Vereyk Nightclaw enters from the challengers' corner, joining his partner in a coordinated assault.

Brakk drives a devastating BLOODMAW UPPERCUT into Varak's jaw!

Varak staggers backward!

Vereyk immediately follows, launching himself forward and delivering a series of brutal JUMPING STOMPS!

The champion struggles against the combined assault.

But Varak manages to catch one of Vereyk's arms and twist it into a punishing ARMBAR!

Vereyk pulls away as the referee attempts to separate the competitors.

Johnny Michaels: "BLOODMAW UPPERCUT FROM BRAKK! JUMPING STOMPS FROM VEREYK! BUT VARAK COUNTERS WITH AN ARMBAR! This has become an extraordinary battle of power and endurance! Neither team is willing to allow the opposition any breathing room!"

Eddie Ellington: "And look at the teamwork from the challengers! Brakk creates the opening, Vereyk immediately follows! That's how you win tag team championships! You don't wait for your opponent to recover, Johnny! You keep attacking until there's nothing left!"

Minute 17

Brakk Bloodmaw continues pressing the attack as Varak attempts to recover from the previous exchange.

Vereyk Nightclaw remains nearby, forcing the champion to divide his attention between both challengers.

Brakk drives a knee into Varak's abdomen and traps both arms beneath his own.

With an enormous effort, he lifts the champion backward!

BEARTRAP!

The devastating double-underhook suplex sends Varak crashing onto his shoulders!

Vereyk remains positioned near the ropes, preventing the champion from escaping toward his corner.

Johnny Michaels: "BEARTRAP FROM BRAKK BLOODMAW! THAT DOUBLE-UNDERHOOK SUPLEX CONNECTED BEAUTIFULLY! And look at the positioning of Vereyk Nightclaw! He's helping cut off the ring and prevent Varak from reaching his partner! That's excellent tag team strategy!"

Eddie Ellington: "EXACTLY! Count Daculescu knows how to prepare a championship team! You isolate one opponent, you punish him, and you keep his partner from getting involved! Varak is learning just how difficult it is to fight two monsters who actually understand teamwork!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam finally directs Vereyk to the apron, leaving Brakk and Varak to continue.

Minute 18

Varak struggles upright as Brakk Bloodmaw advances.

The challenger catches the champion around the waist, lifts him into position, and drives him down with a powerful BLOODMAW BOMB!

The ring shudders from the impact!

But before Brakk can capitalize, Marcus the Beastmaster begins moving toward the corner.

While referee 'Slow-Count' Sam is attempting to restore order following the exchange, Marcus wraps a heavy chain around his fist!

As Brakk approaches the ropes, Marcus drives the chain-wrapped fist into the challenger's upper body!

Brakk staggers backward!

Varak immediately grabs him and rolls him into a cover!

Johnny Michaels: "WAIT A MINUTE! MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER JUST STRUCK BRAKK BLOODMAW WITH A CHAIN-WRAPPED FIST! THAT'S BLATANT INTERFERENCE! AND NOW VARAK HAS THE COVER!"

Eddie Ellington: "OUTRAGEOUS! THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS! Marcus just hit him with a CHAIN! Brakk was already in a brutal match, and now he's getting attacked from outside! WHERE'S THE REFEREE?!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam drops into position!

ONE!

TWO!

VEREYK NIGHTCLAW BURSTS THROUGH THE ROPES!

He dives toward the cover and strikes Varak, breaking up the pinfall attempt!

Johnny Michaels: "VEREYK MAKES THE SAVE! VEREYK NIGHTCLAW HAS KEPT THE CRIMSON MAULERS' CHAMPIONSHIP DREAM ALIVE! And I have to tell you, Eddie, that interference from Marcus was completely unacceptable!"

Eddie Ellington: "For once, we agree! Marcus the Beastmaster is turning this into a robbery! Brakk was fighting a legitimate championship match, and now somebody's hitting him with chains! Somebody ought to throw that Beastmaster out of the building!"

Brakk struggles toward his corner.

TAG!

Vereyk Nightclaw becomes the legal competitor.

Minute 19

Varak manages to regroup and immediately charges toward Vereyk Nightclaw.

Karnyx joins his partner, and the Ultimate Beasts launch another coordinated attack.

Varak catches Vereyk around the upper body and drives him down with the devastating WRECKING CRANE!

Vereyk crashes into the canvas!

Karnyx follows immediately, catching the recovering challenger and driving him backward across an extended knee!

CRUSHING BACKBREAKER!

But Vereyk refuses to remain down.

He surges upright, catches Varak around the torso, and locks in the crushing WING CRUSHER bearhug!

Johnny Michaels: "WRECKING CRANE FROM VARAK! CRUSHING BACKBREAKER FROM KARNYX! BUT VEREYK HAS LOCKED IN THE WING CRUSHER! THIS IS INCREDIBLE! Nearly twenty minutes into the contest, and both teams are still delivering devastating offense!"

Eddie Ellington: "LOOK AT VEREYK! TWO MONSTERS ARE TRYING TO TAKE HIM APART, AND HE STILL FINDS THE STRENGTH TO LOCK IN THAT BEARHUG! That's championship determination! That's what the Crimson Maulers bring to the table!"

Minute 20

Varak eventually forces himself free from the Wing Crusher, stumbling toward the ropes.

Vereyk Nightclaw attempts to follow, but Karnyx steps forward and catches him with a sharp EYE RAKE!

The challenger recoils, momentarily blinded.

Varak immediately charges forward!

RUNNING BIG BOOT!

The enormous boot connects across Vereyk's upper body!

But the challenger refuses to remain helpless.

He recovers quickly enough to launch himself upward and drive a series of JUMPING STOMPS into the champions!

Johnny Michaels: "EYE RAKE FROM KARNYX! RUNNING BIG BOOT FROM VARAK! BUT VEREYK NIGHTCLAW IS STILL FIGHTING BACK WITH THOSE JUMPING STOMPS! These competitors are pushing each other to extraordinary limits!"

Eddie Ellington: "And I LOVE the determination from Vereyk! He's fighting through everything! The champions have tried to overpower him, outnumber him, and now they're reaching for his eyes! But he's still standing! That's the kind of competitor I want on my team!"

Minute 21

The struggle intensifies as Varak and Karnyx continue attempting to overwhelm Vereyk Nightclaw.

Varak catches the challenger with a heavy strike before securing a powerful waistlock.

SHATTERING SUPLEX!

Vereyk crashes onto the canvas!

Karnyx immediately pulls him upright, lifts him across his body, and delivers the devastating RUMBLE-SLAM!

The ring trembles!

But as Karnyx attempts to rise, Vereyk catches him and drives him backward across a punishing NIGHTCLAW BACKBREAKER!

All three competitors stagger from the exchange!

Johnny Michaels: "SHATTERING SUPLEX! RUMBLE-SLAM! BUT VEREYK COUNTERS WITH THE NIGHTCLAW BACKBREAKER! WHAT A SEQUENCE! This has become an extraordinary test of endurance, and I'm amazed that any of these competitors are still standing!"

Eddie Ellington: "And once again, Vereyk Nightclaw refuses to be overwhelmed! The Ultimate Beasts are throwing everything they have at him, but he keeps finding an answer! I'll tell you something, Johnny, Count Daculescu has assembled one of the toughest teams in professional wrestling!"

The referee finally restores order, directing the additional competitors back toward their corners.

Minute 22

Varak advances toward the recovering Vereyk Nightclaw, looking to maintain control of the contest.

The champion catches Vereyk around the body and drives him down with another powerful POWERSLAM!

Vereyk struggles toward the challengers' corner and reaches desperately for his partner.

TAG!

Brakk Bloodmaw storms into the ring!

He catches Varak before the champion can react, lifts him into position, and delivers the devastating BLOODMOON DRIVER!

Varak crashes onto the canvas!

Johnny Michaels: "POWERSLAM FROM VARAK! BUT VEREYK MAKES THE TAG! AND BRAKK BLOODMAW COMES IN WITH THE BLOODMOON DRIVER! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE COUNTERATTACK! The challengers are still very much in this championship match!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S BEAUTIFUL! Vereyk survived the punishment, made the tag, and now Brakk is taking over! That's intelligent tag team wrestling! Count Daculescu must be delighted with what he's seeing!"

Varak struggles toward his corner.

TAG!

Karnyx enters the ring.

Minute 23

Karnyx charges toward Brakk Bloodmaw, attempting to prevent the challenger from building momentum.

At ringside, Marcus the Beastmaster begins moving toward the corner.

He wraps the same heavy chain around his fist and prepares another illegal strike!

As Brakk approaches the ropes, Marcus swings!

But this time, Brakk sees him coming!

He catches the attempted attack, blocks the chain-wrapped fist, and shoves Marcus backward!

The crowd erupts!

Marcus stumbles away from the apron, looking furious.

Johnny Michaels: "AND MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER TRIES AGAIN! HE'S GOT THAT CHAIN WRAPPED AROUND HIS FIST! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW SAW IT COMING AND BLOCKED THE ATTACK! What a tremendous defensive reaction from the challenger!"

Eddie Ellington: "HA! THAT'S WHAT HE GETS! Marcus thought he could pull the same trick twice, but Brakk wasn't having it! You want to interfere in a championship match? At least come up with something ORIGINAL! Brakk Bloodmaw just made that Beastmaster look ridiculous!"

Karnyx advances, but Brakk manages to turn away from the ropes and avoid being caught from behind.

The champion retreats toward his corner.

TAG!

Varak returns to the contest.

Minute 24

Varak advances toward Brakk Bloodmaw, attempting to overwhelm the challenger with a series of heavy strikes.

Brakk absorbs the punishment and forces the champion backward toward the corner.

At ringside, Marcus the Beastmaster moves into position again.

As Brakk approaches the ropes, Marcus reaches forward and attempts to grab him by the head!

The Beastmaster tries to drive the challenger's face into the steel ring post!

But Brakk braces himself, preventing the impact!

He shoves Marcus away before turning back toward the ring.

Varak advances!

But Brakk catches him with a powerful BLOODMAW UPPERCUT!

The champion staggers backward!

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER ATTEMPTED INTERFERENCE FROM MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER! HE TRIED TO DRIVE BRAKK'S HEAD INTO THE RING POST! BUT THE CHALLENGER BLOCKED IT AND CAME RIGHT BACK WITH A BLOODMAW UPPERCUT! This is becoming ridiculous! The referee needs to establish control!"

Eddie Ellington: "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THAT BEASTMASTER! He's been interfering all night! And every time, Brakk finds a way to keep fighting! That's championship toughness! If Marcus wants to wrestle so badly, somebody should put him in the ring with Brakk Bloodmaw and see how long he lasts!"

Minute 25

Varak recovers from the uppercut and advances with renewed aggression.

He catches Brakk Bloodmaw with a vicious SPIKE IN THE FACE, forcing the challenger backward!

But Brakk refuses to retreat.

He catches the champion as he attempts to follow up, lifts him across his shoulders, and drives him down with the devastating MAWBREAKER SLAM!

The fireman's carry slam rattles the ring!

Brakk immediately drops across Varak's chest and hooks the leg!

Johnny Michaels: "MAWBREAKER SLAM! BRAKK BLOODMAW WITH THE FIREMAN'S CARRY SLAM! AND NOW THE COVER! WE COULD HAVE NEW CHAMPIONS!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S IT! COUNT HIM! Brakk has him! Come on, Sam! Let's see a proper count!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam drops into position.

ONE!

TWO!

VARAK KICKS OUT!

The champion forces one shoulder off the canvas!

Brakk sits upright, staring at the referee in disbelief.

Johnny Michaels: "AND VARAK SURVIVES! WHAT A CLOSE TWO-COUNT! Brakk Bloodmaw came within a fraction of a second of winning the Universal Tag Team Championships! What extraordinary resilience from the champion!"

Eddie Ellington: "A FRACTION OF A SECOND?! JOHNNY, THAT REFEREE COUNTS LIKE HE'S WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS! Brakk had him beaten! A normal count would've ended this match! That's why they call him 'Slow-Count' Sam, and now I know EXACTLY why!"

Varak rolls toward his corner and extends his hand.

TAG!

Karnyx returns to the match.

Minute 26

Karnyx enters the ring while Brakk Bloodmaw struggles to recover from the exhausting exchange.

At ringside, Marcus the Beastmaster has become increasingly agitated.

As Brakk moves near the ropes, Marcus suddenly reaches forward and drags him beneath the bottom rope!

The challenger crashes onto the arena floor!

Marcus immediately grabs him around the upper body.

With a tremendous effort, the Beastmaster lifts Brakk and drives him down with a vicious SIDEWALK SLAM ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR!

The crowd erupts in outrage!

Inside the ring, referee 'Slow-Count' Sam is occupied with Karnyx, who has moved toward the opposite corner and is loudly arguing about the challengers' tactics.

The official does not witness the attack!

Johnny Michaels: "OH, COME ON! MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER JUST DRAGGED BRAKK BLOODMAW OUT OF THE RING AND SLAMMED HIM ONTO THE ARENA FLOOR! THAT WAS A SIDEWALK SLAM ON THE CONCRETE! AND THE REFEREE DIDN'T SEE IT! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S IT! I'VE SEEN ENOUGH! Marcus has lost his mind! He's going to get his own team disqualified! Brakk Bloodmaw is trying to win a championship, and this man keeps attacking him from outside! Where's the security?! Where's the commissioner?! Somebody get this under control!"

Marcus quickly retreats toward his corner as Brakk struggles to recover.

The challenger manages to drag himself back onto the apron before the referee can complete a count.

Karnyx turns toward his corner.

TAG!

Varak returns to the match.

Minute 27

Varak advances toward the recovering Brakk Bloodmaw, determined to capitalize on the damage inflicted outside the ring.

Karnyx enters briefly to assist his partner.

Varak catches the challenger around the waist and executes another devastating SHATTERING SUPLEX!

Brakk crashes onto the canvas!

Karnyx immediately pulls him upright and drives him down with a brutal CONCRETE BODY SLAM!

The impact shakes the ring!

But Brakk refuses to remain helpless.

He fights upright, catches Varak as the champion advances, and delivers another punishing BEARTRAP double-underhook suplex!

The exchange spills toward the ropes, and Brakk tumbles through them onto the arena floor.

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam begins counting.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Brakk manages to climb back onto the apron and roll beneath the bottom rope.

Johnny Michaels: "SHATTERING SUPLEX FROM VARAK! CONCRETE BODY SLAM FROM KARNYX! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW STILL MANAGED TO ANSWER WITH THE BEARTRAP! And after tumbling to the floor, he's back in the ring at three! What extraordinary endurance!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S HEART! THAT'S DETERMINATION! That's the kind of competitor who deserves to be champion! Brakk has been thrown around, slammed on the concrete by an interfering manager, and attacked by two monsters, and he's STILL FIGHTING! You can't teach that, Johnny!"

Minute 28

Varak immediately advances toward Brakk Bloodmaw, determined to continue the champions' offensive pressure.

Karnyx remains inside the ring, prepared to assist.

Varak catches Brakk around the upper body and lifts him into a spectacular TILT-A-WHIRL SLAM!

Brakk crashes into the canvas!

Karnyx immediately follows with a massive WILD HAYMAKER, catching the challenger as he attempts to rise!

But Brakk somehow fights through the punishment!

He catches Varak as the champion moves forward and lifts him into position.

MAULER DRIVER!

The package piledriver drives Varak into the canvas!

Johnny Michaels: "TILT-A-WHIRL SLAM FROM VARAK! WILD HAYMAKER FROM KARNYX! BUT BRAKK BLOODMAW ANSWERS WITH THE MAULER DRIVER! WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY DISPLAY OF STRENGTH! These competitors have been fighting for nearly half an hour, and they're still delivering devastating offense!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND THAT'S WHY I LOVE BRAKK BLOODMAW! You think you've got him beaten, and he suddenly picks you up and drives you into the canvas! That's a monster who refuses to quit! Count Daculescu must be incredibly proud of his team tonight!"

Minute 29

Varak slowly rises, visibly feeling the effects of the Mauler Driver.

Brakk Bloodmaw attempts to regain control, but Varak catches him with a sudden strike.

He hooks the challenger's head and drives him down with a powerful NECKBREAKER!

Karnyx immediately follows, catching Brakk around the upper body and launching him across the ring with another incredible ONE-HAND TOSS!

Brakk crashes onto the canvas!

But the challenger manages to recover before the champions can finish their assault.

He catches Varak moving forward and drives him down with another devastating FANGBREAKER SLAM!

Johnny Michaels: "NECKBREAKER! ONE-HAND TOSS! BUT BRAKK ANSWERS WITH THE FANGBREAKER SLAM! What an incredible exchange! Both teams have delivered enough punishment to finish several ordinary wrestling matches, yet somehow neither side has been able to secure the victory!"

Eddie Ellington: "Because these aren't ordinary wrestlers, Johnny! These are MONSTERS! And look at Brakk! Every time the champions think they've finally broken him, he finds another way to fight back! That's championship determination!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam orders the additional competitors back toward their corners.

Minute 30

Varak attempts to maintain control as Brakk Bloodmaw struggles toward the ropes.

At ringside, Marcus the Beastmaster retrieves a steel chair from near the timekeeper's area.

The crowd begins booing as the Beastmaster moves toward the corner.

While referee 'Slow-Count' Sam is occupied with the legal competitors, Marcus raises the chair.

As Brakk approaches the ropes, the Beastmaster swings!

CRACK!

The steel chair crashes into Brakk's upper body!

The challenger recoils from the illegal attack, collapsing toward the canvas.

Marcus quickly withdraws the chair before the referee turns.

Johnny Michaels: "OH, COME ON! MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER HAS JUST HIT BRAKK BLOODMAW WITH A STEEL CHAIR! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! We've seen repeated interference from both managers tonight, but Marcus is becoming increasingly reckless! Somebody has to put a stop to this!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD ENOUGH! Marcus has completely lost his mind! Chains! Ring posts! Concrete floors! NOW STEEL CHAIRS?! And he's supposed to be managing the CHAMPIONS! If those Ultimate Beasts are as good as they claim, why does their manager keep trying to win the match for them?!"

Varak turns toward his corner and extends his hand.

TAG!

Karnyx returns to the ring.

Minute 31

Karnyx advances toward the battered Brakk Bloodmaw, who is struggling to recover from the steel chair attack.

The champion catches him around the upper body and lifts him with one enormous arm.

ONE-HAND TOSS!

Brakk crashes onto the canvas!

Karnyx immediately drops into a cover!

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER ONE-HAND TOSS FROM KARNYX! AND NOW THE CHAMPION HAS THE COVER! AFTER EVERYTHING BRAKK HAS ENDURED, THIS COULD FINALLY BE THE END!"

Eddie Ellington: "COME ON, BRAKK! GET THAT SHOULDER UP! You can't let them steal this championship match after all that interference!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam drops into position.

ONE!

BRAKK KICKS OUT!

The challenger forces his shoulder upward before the referee can continue.

Johnny Michaels: "AND BRAKK BLOODMAW SURVIVES! What extraordinary resilience! Thirty-one minutes into this contest, and the challenger is still refusing to surrender!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! Brakk has more heart than half the roster combined! You can throw him around all night, but he's not going to stay down just because the champions want him to!"

Minute 32

Karnyx rises, visibly frustrated by the challenger's continued resistance.

He grabs Brakk Bloodmaw by the upper body and drags him toward the center of the ring.

Brakk attempts to defend himself, but his exhausted movements are too slow.

Karnyx plants his feet, lifts the challenger with one enormous arm, and launches him across the canvas!

ONE-HAND TOSS!

The impact shakes the ring!

Karnyx immediately drops across Brakk's chest and hooks the leg!

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER ONE-HAND TOSS! KARNYX IS USING HIS EXTRAORDINARY STRENGTH TO DOMINATE THIS EXCHANGE! AND NOW ANOTHER COVER! BRAKK BLOODMAW MAY HAVE FINALLY REACHED HIS LIMIT!"

Eddie Ellington: "GET UP, BRAKK! COME ON! You've survived everything else they've thrown at you! Don't let them finish it now!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam begins counting.

ONE!

BRAKK KICKS OUT AGAIN!

The challenger throws one shoulder upward!

Karnyx sits upright, glaring angrily toward the referee.

Johnny Michaels: "AND BRAKK BLOODMAW KICKS OUT AGAIN! I DON'T BELIEVE IT! That is extraordinary determination! The challenger simply refuses to remain down!"

Eddie Ellington: "HA! THAT'S RIGHT! Karnyx can't believe it! He's throwing everything he has at Brakk, and it STILL isn't enough! That's the kind of competitor who deserves championship gold!"

Brakk drags himself toward his corner.

Vereyk Nightclaw stretches across the ropes.

TAG!

Vereyk enters the contest!

Minute 33

Vereyk Nightclaw storms into the ring, charging directly toward Karnyx.

The champion attempts to intercept him, but Vereyk catches him with a powerful strike.

Varak enters from the champions' corner, and suddenly all four competitors are involved!

Karnyx catches Vereyk and launches him across the ring with another enormous ONE-HAND TOSS!

Varak charges toward Brakk Bloodmaw, catches him around the upper body, and drives him down with the devastating WRECKING CRANE!

But Vereyk has already recovered near the ropes.

He looks toward the two champions, then launches himself over the top rope!

BATWING DIVE TO RINGSIDE!

Vereyk crashes into Karnyx, sending the champion tumbling to the arena floor!

The crowd explodes!

Inside the ring, Brakk struggles upright and charges toward Varak, driving him backward with a thunderous CORNER MAUL AVALANCHE!

Johnny Michaels: "ALL FOUR COMPETITORS ARE INVOLVED! ONE-HAND TOSS FROM KARNYX! WRECKING CRANE FROM VARAK! BUT VEREYK NIGHTCLAW JUST LAUNCHED HIMSELF TO RINGSIDE WITH THE BATWING DIVE! AND BRAKK ANSWERS WITH THE CORNER MAUL AVALANCHE! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SEQUENCE!"

Eddie Ellington: "THIS IS ABSOLUTE CHAOS! AND I LOVE IT! Vereyk just flew through the air like a creature from a nightmare! Brakk is flattening people in the corner! THESE ARE THE CRIMSON MAULERS, JOHNNY! THIS IS WHAT THEY DO!"

At ringside, Karnyx struggles to recover as referee 'Slow-Count' Sam begins counting.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

FOUR!

FIVE!

Karnyx pulls himself toward the ring apron.

SIX!

SEVEN!

The champion finally climbs back beneath the bottom rope!

Johnny Michaels: "KARNYX MAKES IT BACK AT SEVEN! That dive from Vereyk nearly resulted in a countout! And if that had happened, the champions would have been in serious trouble!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, Vereyk knew exactly what he was doing! That was a spectacular attack! And look at the condition of these competitors! Thirty-three minutes, Johnny! Thirty-three minutes of punishment!"

Minute 34

Karnyx struggles upright as Vereyk Nightclaw returns to the ring.

The challenger immediately attacks, catching the champion with a powerful strike before forcing him toward the center of the canvas.

Vereyk hooks Karnyx around the upper body and drives him across an extended knee!

NIGHTCLAW BACKBREAKER!

Karnyx cries out as the impact strikes his lower back!

Brakk Bloodmaw steps through the ropes to assist his partner.

He catches the recovering champion, traps both arms, and executes another tremendous BEARTRAP double-underhook suplex!

But Karnyx somehow powers himself upright!

He catches Brakk around the upper body and launches him across the ring with an enormous ONE-HAND TOSS!

Johnny Michaels: "NIGHTCLAW BACKBREAKER! BEARTRAP! BUT KARNYX COUNTERS WITH ANOTHER ONE-HAND TOSS! WHAT INCREDIBLE STRENGTH! Thirty-four minutes into this championship match, and the champions are still finding ways to fight back!"

Eddie Ellington: "I'll give Karnyx credit, Johnny! That was an extraordinary escape! But look at how much punishment he's taking! The Crimson Maulers are wearing these champions down, and sooner or later, something has to give!"

Minute 35

Vereyk Nightclaw remains near the center of the ring, attempting to recover from the exhausting exchange.

Brakk Bloodmaw steps forward, catching Karnyx with a tremendous BLOODMAW UPPERCUT!

The champion staggers backward!

But Karnyx immediately responds with a devastating CLOTHESLINE!

Brakk crashes onto the canvas!

Vereyk moves forward, but the referee forces the additional competitors to return toward their respective corners.

Johnny Michaels: "BLOODMAW UPPERCUT FROM BRAKK! BUT KARNYX ANSWERS WITH A MASSIVE CLOTHESLINE! These men are exchanging punishing strikes, and I don't know how much longer any of them can continue at this pace!"

Eddie Ellington: "That's what makes this match so extraordinary! You're not watching four ordinary wrestlers! You're watching four monsters who refuse to acknowledge that they're exhausted! Brakk and Vereyk are giving everything they have, and the champions are being forced to do exactly the same!"

Minute 36

Vereyk Nightclaw advances toward Karnyx, looking to regain control.

Brakk Bloodmaw steps through the ropes to assist his partner.

Vereyk catches the champion around the torso and locks in the punishing WING CRUSHER!

The bearhug compresses Karnyx's ribs!

Brakk moves forward, preparing to deliver a devastating BLOODMAW LARIAT while the champion is trapped!

But Karnyx sees the attack coming!

He plants his feet, forces Vereyk's grip apart, and shoves the challenger backward!

Brakk's lariat misses its intended target!

Karnyx immediately catches Vereyk and launches him across the ring!

ONE-HAND TOSS!

The challenger crashes onto the canvas!

Johnny Michaels: "WING CRUSHER FROM VEREYK! BRAKK WAS COMING IN WITH THE LARIAT! BUT KARNYX BROKE FREE! AND ANOTHER ONE-HAND TOSS! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE COUNTER! That could have been a devastating combination from the challengers!"

Eddie Ellington: "NOW THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE! I'll admit it! Karnyx just escaped a very dangerous situation! Vereyk had him trapped, Brakk was ready to take his head off, and somehow the champion found a way out! That's why these belts are so difficult to win!"

Minute 37

Vereyk Nightclaw rises slowly, visibly exhausted by the sustained punishment.

Karnyx advances, but Brakk Bloodmaw steps through the ropes and catches the champion with a heavy strike.

Vereyk immediately follows with a series of vicious JUMPING STOMPS!

Brakk seizes the opportunity, catching Karnyx around the waist and lifting him high!

CRIMSON CRUSH!

The devastating gutwrench powerbomb drives the champion into the canvas!

The crowd erupts!

But Karnyx somehow forces himself upright!

He catches Vereyk advancing and drives him down with a tremendous RUMBLE-SLAM!

All three competitors remain down momentarily!

Johnny Michaels: "JUMPING STOMPS FROM VEREYK! CRIMSON CRUSH FROM BRAKK! BUT KARNYX ANSWERS WITH THE RUMBLE-SLAM! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! Thirty-seven minutes, ladies and gentlemen! Thirty-seven minutes of some of the most physical tag team wrestling we've ever witnessed!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND THE CHALLENGERS ARE STILL FIGHTING! Brakk just delivered that gutwrench powerbomb, and I thought we were about to see new champions! But Karnyx somehow got back up! What does it take to keep these monsters down?!"

Minute 38

Karnyx and Vereyk Nightclaw struggle upright near the ropes.

Vereyk attempts to secure another grip around the champion's torso, but Karnyx catches him first.

With an enormous burst of strength, the champion lifts Vereyk and drives him down with a devastating CONCRETE BODY SLAM!

The momentum carries the challenger toward the ropes, and Vereyk tumbles onto the arena floor!

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam begins counting.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

FOUR!

Vereyk manages to regain his footing and climb back into the ring!

As Karnyx approaches, Vereyk suddenly catches him around the torso!

WING CRUSHER!

The challenger locks in the crushing bearhug!

Karnyx struggles against the pressure, but refuses to submit!

Johnny Michaels: "CONCRETE BODY SLAM FROM KARNYX! VEREYK TUMBLED TO THE FLOOR BUT MADE IT BACK AT FOUR! AND NOW HE'S LOCKED IN THE WING CRUSHER AGAIN! WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY DISPLAY OF RESILIENCE! Neither team is willing to surrender!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND LOOK AT VEREYK! He gets thrown out of the ring, climbs right back in, and immediately goes after the champion! That's determination! That's championship hunger! Count Daculescu has every reason to believe his men can win this!"

Karnyx finally manages to force enough separation to break the bearhug.

Vereyk stumbles toward his corner.

TAG!

Brakk Bloodmaw returns to the match.

Minute 39

Karnyx immediately advances toward Brakk Bloodmaw, determined to prevent the challengers from establishing another offensive advantage.

Varak steps through the ropes to assist his partner.

Karnyx catches Brakk with a powerful WILD HAYMAKER!

The challenger staggers backward!

Varak charges forward!

RUNNING BIG BOOT!

The massive strike connects across Brakk's upper body, sending him crashing toward the canvas!

Brakk struggles to rise, but the champions continue applying pressure.

Johnny Michaels: "WILD HAYMAKER FROM KARNYX! RUNNING BIG BOOT FROM VARAK! THE CHAMPIONS ARE DOUBLE-TEAMING AGAIN! And after thirty-nine minutes, they're somehow still finding the strength to execute these devastating combinations!"

Eddie Ellington: "I don't know how Brakk is still standing, Johnny! He's taken more punishment tonight than most competitors experience in an entire month! But he's still fighting! The Crimson Maulers haven't come this far to surrender now!"

Minute 40

Brakk Bloodmaw struggles upright, clearly exhausted by the relentless championship contest.

Karnyx approaches aggressively, while Varak remains nearby, recovering from the previous exchange.

Brakk attempts to raise his arms in defense, but Karnyx catches him with a powerful strike.

CLOTHESLINE!

The champion drives his enormous arm across Brakk's upper body, sending the challenger crashing onto the canvas!

Varak remains near the ropes, unable to contribute another significant attack before the referee forces him back toward the apron.

Karnyx stands over the fallen challenger, breathing heavily.

Johnny Michaels: "WHAT A CLOTHESLINE FROM KARNYX! BRAKK BLOODMAW IS DOWN AGAIN! Forty minutes, ladies and gentlemen! FORTY MINUTES! These teams have delivered an extraordinary amount of punishment, and somehow we're still waiting for a decisive victory!"

Eddie Ellington: "And that's what makes this a championship match worthy of Halloween Horror! Four enormous competitors, two championships, and forty minutes of violence! I don't know how much more punishment anybody can take! But I'll tell you something, Johnny! The Crimson Maulers are not finished!"

Karnyx pulls Brakk toward the center of the ring, preparing to continue his assault.

At ringside, Marcus the Beastmaster and Count Daculescu begin exchanging hostile words.

The tension between the rival managers is reaching a breaking point.

Minute 41

Karnyx and Brakk Bloodmaw struggle toward their feet as the crowd rises in anticipation.

Both competitors are exhausted.

Both have absorbed extraordinary punishment.

And neither appears willing to surrender.

Brakk attempts to advance, but Karnyx catches him with a heavy forearm.

The challenger staggers toward the ropes.

At ringside, Marcus the Beastmaster suddenly moves forward with a furious expression.

He reaches beneath the bottom rope and grabs Brakk by the leg!

The challenger loses his balance and tumbles onto the arena floor!

Johnny Michaels: "WAIT A MINUTE! MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER HAS GRABBED BRAKK BLOODMAW AGAIN! WHAT IS HE DOING?! THIS HAS GONE FAR ENOUGH!"

Marcus storms toward the fallen challenger and drags him upright.

Inside the ring, Karnyx moves toward the ropes while referee 'Slow-Count' Sam begins demanding that the Beastmaster release his opponent.

But Marcus ignores the warning.

He hooks Brakk around the upper body, lifts him off his feet, and drives him violently down onto the arena floor!

SIDEWALK SLAM ON THE CONCRETE!

The impact echoes throughout ringside!

Johnny Michaels: "OH, COME ON! MARCUS HAS JUST SLAMMED BRAKK BLOODMAW ONTO THE CONCRETE AGAIN! THAT'S A BLATANT ATTACK! AND THIS TIME THE REFEREE SAW EVERYTHING!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S IT! HE'S GONE TOO FAR! MARCUS HAS COMPLETELY LOST CONTROL! Brakk has been fighting for forty-one minutes, and now that man is attacking him on the floor! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!"

At the opposite side of the ring, Count Daculescu suddenly moves forward.

His expression has changed from controlled aristocratic confidence to something far more sinister.

The Count raises one hand toward Karnyx, who is standing near the ropes.

With a sudden movement, Daculescu unleashes a blazing FIREBALL directly toward the champion's face!

Karnyx recoils in shock, throwing both hands toward his face as the fiery burst illuminates the ringside area!

The audience erupts in disbelief!

But referee 'Slow-Count' Sam is focused entirely on Marcus and the fallen Brakk Bloodmaw.

He has witnessed the Beastmaster deliberately assaulting a competitor outside the ring.

And he has seen enough.

The referee turns toward the timekeeper.

He raises both arms.

AND CALLS FOR THE BELL!

DING! DING! DING!

The North Pole Arena erupts into absolute chaos!

Johnny Michaels: "THE REFEREE HAS CALLED FOR THE BELL! 'SLOW-COUNT' SAM HAS STOPPED THE MATCH! AND I BELIEVE HE'S DISQUALIFIED THE ULTIMATE BEASTS BECAUSE OF MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER'S INTERFERENCE!"

Eddie Ellington: "WELL, HE HAD NO CHOICE! Marcus just attacked Brakk Bloodmaw right in front of him! Forty-one minutes, Johnny! FORTY-ONE MINUTES! And after all of that, the Beastmaster has thrown the entire championship match away!"

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam begins arguing with Marcus, who is shouting furiously toward the official.

Karnyx stands near the ropes, holding his face following the sudden fireball attack.

Varak steps into the ring and moves toward his partner, while Count Daculescu retreats several steps from the apron, adjusting his jacket with an almost impossibly composed expression.

At ringside, Vereyk Nightclaw rushes toward the fallen Brakk Bloodmaw, helping his partner recover from the concrete-floor slam.

The audience is roaring, but the confusion surrounding the result has not yet been resolved.

Johnny Michaels: "WHAT AN INCREDIBLE AND CONTROVERSIAL ENDING! We've seen interference from both managers throughout this contest! Count Daculescu has used foreign objects and distractions, and just moments ago he unleashed a fireball toward Karnyx! But the referee witnessed Marcus the Beastmaster attacking Brakk Bloodmaw on the concrete floor, and that appears to be the action that has resulted in the disqualification!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND RIGHTFULLY SO! Marcus had no business doing that! The Crimson Maulers were fighting their hearts out for those championships! They survived everything the Ultimate Beasts threw at them, and now the Beastmaster has ruined their opportunity! I don't care what anybody says, the challengers deserved better than this!"

Inside the ring, referee 'Slow-Count' Sam approaches the timekeeper and delivers his official ruling.

Celeste Orion receives the information and steps into the center of the ring.

Celeste Orion: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! REFEREE 'SLOW-COUNT' SAM HAS RULED THAT MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER INTERFERED IN THE MATCH BY PHYSICALLY ASSAULTING BRAKK BLOODMAW OUTSIDE THE RING!"

The crowd reacts loudly.

Celeste Orion: "THEREFORE, THE ULTIMATE BEASTS HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED!"

A thunderous reaction fills the arena!

Celeste Orion: "YOUR WINNERS, AS A RESULT OF A DISQUALIFICATION... BRAKK BLOODMAW AND VEREYK NIGHTCLAW... THE CRIMSON MAULERS!"

Count Daculescu raises both arms triumphantly at ringside.

Vereyk helps Brakk to his feet, and the two challengers acknowledge their victory with fierce expressions.

But as they look toward the ring, their celebrations quickly become more restrained.

Because the championship belts remain in the possession of the Ultimate Beasts.

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam retrieves both titles and returns them to the defending champions.

Marcus the Beastmaster immediately reaches for the belts, insisting that his team remains the rightful champions.

Johnny Michaels: "AND THERE IS THE IMPORTANT DISTINCTION! THE CRIMSON MAULERS HAVE WON THIS MATCH BY DISQUALIFICATION, BUT THE ULTIMATE BEASTS RETAIN THE UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS! Under the normal championship rules, a title cannot change hands on a disqualification! And after forty-one minutes of extraordinary competition, nobody is walking away with the decisive championship victory they wanted!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S A TRAVESTY! A TRAVESTY, JOHNNY! The Crimson Maulers have WON the match, and they're leaving WITHOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIPS! And who's responsible? MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER! That man has just handed his own team a disqualification and somehow preserved their title reign! I don't care how you look at it, something about that stinks!"

Count Daculescu approaches the ring apron, his expression now cold and furious.

He points toward the championship belts and begins addressing Marcus directly.

Count Daculescu: "You may retain possession of those championships, sir, but do not mistake possession for superiority! Your team has been defeated! The official record shall reflect precisely that!"

Marcus laughs contemptuously and raises one of the belts toward the Count.

Marcus the Beastmaster: "LOOK AT THE BELTS! STILL OURS! STILL THE CHAMPIONS! YOU WANT THEM? COME AND TAKE THEM!"

Brakk Bloodmaw suddenly lunges toward the apron, but Vereyk Nightclaw catches him by the shoulder and holds him back.

Inside the ring, Karnyx and Varak step forward, daring the challengers to enter.

Referee 'Slow-Count' Sam moves between the opposing teams, urgently demanding that everyone remain separated.

Several ringside officials begin approaching as the confrontation threatens to erupt into another fight.

Johnny Michaels: "AND THE TEMPERS ARE STILL FLARING! Count Daculescu and Marcus the Beastmaster are exchanging words, the Crimson Maulers are furious, and the Ultimate Beasts are standing in the ring with the championships they technically retain! This situation is far from settled!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND IT SHOULDN'T BE SETTLED! Johnny, the Crimson Maulers just went forty-one minutes with the reigning champions! FORTY-ONE MINUTES! They endured everything those monsters could throw at them, and the match ends because somebody's manager couldn't control himself! If I were Count Daculescu, I'd be demanding another championship opportunity!"

Count Daculescu finally gestures for his competitors to step away from the ring.

Brakk and Vereyk reluctantly follow, both men glaring toward the champions as they retreat toward the entrance ramp.

Inside the ring, Karnyx and Varak raise their championship belts, but the gesture draws a much more hostile reaction than their entrance earlier tonight.

Marcus continues laughing, apparently unconcerned by the controversy.

Johnny Michaels: "What an extraordinary contest, and what a disappointing conclusion to such a tremendous battle! The Crimson Maulers have earned an official victory, but the Universal Tag Team Championships remain with the Ultimate Beasts. And with the ongoing rivalry between the Primal Expanse and the House of Night, I cannot imagine this controversy will be forgotten anytime soon!"

Eddie Ellington: "Forgotten?! Johnny, Count Daculescu is going to remember this until the end of eternity! And those Crimson Maulers aren't going to forget what happened tonight! They've proved they can stand toe-to-toe with the champions, and next time, they'd better make sure Marcus the Beastmaster is nowhere near the ring!"

Johnny Michaels: "An incredible forty-one-minute championship confrontation ends in disqualification, but the night is far from over! Still to come, Grizelda and the Wicked Witch will settle their struggle for leadership of the Coven in a very special Witch's Duel! And later, four monsters enter Hell in a Cell with a future Universal Championship opportunity at stake! Ladies and gentlemen, Halloween Horror continues!"

CRIMSON MAULERS DEFEAT ULTIMATE BEASTS VIA DISQUALIFICATION AT THE 41:00 MINUTE MARK FOLLOWING INTERFERENCE BY MARCUS THE BEASTMASTER. ULTIMATE BEASTS RETAIN THE NPCW UNIVERSAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS.

The camera captures one final shot of Count Daculescu standing at the entrance ramp alongside the exhausted but furious Crimson Maulers.

Across the arena, Karnyx and Varak remain inside the ring, their championship belts raised beneath the Halloween lighting.

Between them stands Marcus the Beastmaster, wearing a broad, triumphant grin.

But the expression on Count Daculescu's face tells a very different story.

His team has won the match.

His team has not won the championships.

And the House of Night is unlikely to accept that distinction quietly.

The Halloween Horror logo flashes across the screen as the broadcast transitions away from ringside.

12. MATCH 7

The broadcast returns to the North Pole Arena, where the atmosphere has taken on an entirely different character.

The thunderous excitement surrounding the controversial Universal Tag Team Championship contest has given way to an unsettling silence as the arena lights begin to fade.

Above the ring, the enormous Halloween Horror display slowly transforms.

Ancient runes appear across the screen. Black clouds roll over a moonlit forest. Twisted branches reach toward a blood-red moon, while the distant silhouette of a ruined stone tower emerges through the mist.

The arena floor is illuminated by slowly rotating circles of violet light.

Inside the ring, referee 'Honest' Abe stands beside Celeste Orion, both watching as mysterious symbols begin to illuminate along the ring apron.

Johnny Michaels: "Ladies and gentlemen, we're back at Halloween Horror, and what an extraordinary contest we have coming up! For weeks, the struggle for control of the Coven has been building toward this moment. Tonight, two powerful witches will settle that dispute inside the ring! Grizelda goes one-on-one with the Wicked Witch, and the winner will emerge as the undisputed leader of the Coven!"

Eddie Ellington: "And it's about time, Johnny! I'm tired of all the arguing, all the plotting, and all the ridiculous claims about who deserves to command the Coven! As far as I'm concerned, there's only one witch who should be sitting on that throne, and that's the Wicked Witch! She's got the cunning, the experience, and the kind of personality that makes everybody else miserable! Those are the qualifications I look for in a leader!"

Johnny Michaels: "Well, Grizelda would certainly disagree! We've seen this rivalry intensify through their confrontations in recent weeks, and both women have made it abundantly clear that they consider themselves the rightful authority over the Coven. But there's something particularly important about tonight's match."

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, I know! The loser has to admit she's not the most powerful witch in the North! Can you imagine the humiliation? Though frankly, I suspect Grizelda has had plenty of practice looking miserable!"

Johnny Michaels: "Actually, Eddie, I'm referring to the special precautions being taken to ensure this contest has a definitive result. Given the supernatural abilities possessed by these competitors, and the possibility that other members of the Coven might attempt to influence the outcome, a magical barrier will be established around the ring!"

Eddie Ellington: "A magical barrier?! Wonderful! We've gone from steel cages to invisible walls! What's next, Johnny? Are we going to start checking the turnbuckles for flying broomsticks?"

Johnny Michaels: "The purpose is very straightforward. Once both competitors and the referee are inside, the barrier will seal the ring against outside interference. No allies entering the contest, no spells cast from beyond the barrier, and no outside assistance. The witches themselves will still be permitted to employ their supernatural abilities inside the ring!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, that's fine with me! The Wicked Witch doesn't need anybody's help! Give her eleven minutes alone with Grizelda, and we'll find out who really deserves to lead the Coven!"

The arena lights turn a deep emerald green.

A sinister cackle echoes through the building.

The entrance screen displays an enormous black cauldron surrounded by twisting green flames. A crooked silhouette appears above it as the smoke forms the unmistakable image of a witch.

The ominous entrance music of the WICKED WITCH fills the arena.

A thick cloud of emerald mist rolls across the entrance stage.

From within the smoke emerges the WICKED WITCH!

She pauses beneath the glowing green lights, surveying the audience with an expression of contemptuous superiority.

There is no sign of uncertainty in her demeanor.

Tonight is not simply another match.

Tonight represents the opportunity to establish her unquestioned authority over the Coven.

The Wicked Witch slowly raises both hands.

A burst of green magical energy crackles across the entrance screen.

She releases another shrill cackle before beginning her deliberate procession toward the ring.

Fans along the aisle recoil as she passes, her attention fixed entirely upon the squared circle.

At ringside, she examines the illuminated runes surrounding the ring with an approving smile.

She climbs the steps, enters between the ropes, and moves toward the center of the canvas.

With a theatrical flourish, she raises her hands and sends a small swirl of emerald mist curling toward the arena ceiling.

Johnny Michaels: "There she is! The Wicked Witch! One of the most dangerous supernatural competitors in NPCW, and a woman who has never been particularly interested in sharing authority! We've seen her confront Grizelda and assert her claim to leadership, but tonight she's going to have to prove that claim inside the ring!"

Eddie Ellington: "LOOK AT HER, JOHNNY! That's confidence! That's authority! That's a woman who understands that being in charge means making everybody else afraid to question you! The Coven needs leadership, and nobody commands fear quite like the Wicked Witch!"

Johnny Michaels: "She's certainly dangerous, but Grizelda has demonstrated extraordinary magical ability of her own. This is not going to be an easy contest for either competitor!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, I'm sure Grizelda knows a few spells! But there's a difference between knowing magic and knowing how to rule! The Wicked Witch was born for this kind of confrontation!"

The green entrance lights suddenly extinguish.

The arena falls into near-total darkness.

A low, haunting choral melody begins echoing through the building.

The enormous screen transforms into a swirling vortex of black and violet shadows.

Ancient symbols emerge from the darkness, glowing with pale silver light.

Then a tremendous burst of violet illumination reveals the entrance of GRIZELDA!

The formidable witch emerges through a curtain of black mist, her expression cold and utterly composed.

Unlike the theatrical arrogance displayed by her opponent, Grizelda carries herself with a quieter, more ominous certainty.

She pauses at the top of the entrance ramp.

Slowly, she raises one hand.

The violet shadows surrounding her twist upward into the shape of enormous grasping fingers before dissolving into the darkness.

The crowd reacts with a mixture of awe and apprehension.

Grizelda begins walking toward the ring, her eyes fixed upon the Wicked Witch.

Inside the squared circle, the Wicked Witch watches her approach with an arrogant sneer.

Grizelda reaches ringside and briefly examines the runes surrounding the canvas.

A faint smile crosses her face.

She steps onto the apron and enters the ring.

The two witches immediately advance toward one another.

Referee 'Honest' Abe steps between them before their confrontation can begin prematurely.

Johnny Michaels: "And here comes Grizelda! A witch of extraordinary power and determination! She's made it clear that she believes the Coven needs a different kind of leadership, and tonight she has the opportunity to seize that authority for herself! This rivalry has become deeply personal, Eddie!"

Eddie Ellington: "Personal? Of course it's personal! Grizelda wants something that belongs to the Wicked Witch! I don't care how many shadows she summons or how dramatically she walks to the ring! She still has to beat a woman who's spent a lifetime making people regret challenging her!"

The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense as the two competitors retreat toward opposite corners.

Celeste Orion steps into the center of the ring.

Celeste Orion: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! The following contest is a SPECIAL WITCHES BATTLE scheduled for ONE FALL!"

The audience erupts.

Celeste Orion: "TONIGHT, THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH WILL BE RECOGNIZED AS THE UNDISPUTED LEADER OF THE COVEN!"

The crowd responds with enormous anticipation.

Celeste Orion: "TO ENSURE THAT THERE CAN BE NO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE, A MAGICAL BARRIER WILL BE ESTABLISHED AROUND THE RING! ONCE THE BARRIER IS ACTIVATED, NO OUTSIDE COMPETITOR OR EXTERNAL MAGICAL FORCE WILL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE CONTEST!"

The illuminated runes begin pulsing more brightly.

Celeste Orion: "Introducing first, standing in the corner to my left! The mistress of wicked enchantments, the terrifying sorceress who seeks to preserve her authority over the Coven... THE WICKED WITCH!"

The Wicked Witch raises both hands and releases a triumphant cackle as emerald light flickers around her.

Celeste Orion: "And her opponent, standing in the corner to my right! The formidable mistress of shadow magic, who tonight challenges for complete control of the Coven... GRIZELDA!"

Grizelda raises one hand, and a ribbon of violet mist curls upward before disappearing.

Celeste exits the ring as referee 'Honest' Abe completes his instructions.

The two witches slowly approach the center of the canvas.

And then...

The runes surrounding the ring ignite with brilliant silver light!

Four vertical columns of magical energy rise from the corners, stretching upward toward the arena ceiling.

The columns expand into a shimmering dome of translucent violet and silver light, completely enveloping the ring!

For an instant, ancient symbols ripple across the barrier's surface.

A deep, resonant hum fills the arena.

Then the barrier becomes almost invisible, its presence marked only by faintly glowing runes suspended in the air around the ropes.

The wrestlers and referee are sealed inside.

No one else can enter.

Johnny Michaels: "THERE IT IS! THE MAGICAL BARRIER HAS BEEN ACTIVATED! Look at that extraordinary display! The entire ring has been sealed off from outside interference! Whatever happens in this contest, Grizelda and the Wicked Witch are going to have to settle it themselves!"

Eddie Ellington: "GOOD! EXCELLENT! Seal the doors, throw away the keys, and let the witches fight! The Wicked Witch doesn't need a single person coming to her assistance! She's going to prove exactly who deserves to command the Coven!"

Grizelda slowly extends one hand toward the barrier, testing its surface.

A thin ripple of silver light appears before fading.

The Wicked Witch watches and laughs.

The referee gestures for the competitors to separate.

He signals for the bell!

DING! DING! DING!

Minute 1

Grizelda and the Wicked Witch circle cautiously, their eyes locked upon one another.

The Wicked Witch raises one hand, allowing emerald sparks to gather around her fingers.

But Grizelda refuses to wait for her opponent to complete the incantation.

She charges forward, catches the Wicked Witch with a heavy forearm, and secures a grip around her upper body.

As the Wicked Witch attempts to escape, black shadows begin spreading across the canvas beneath her feet.

The shadows twist upward, wrapping around her ankles!

Grizelda suddenly pivots and drives her opponent toward the mat!

SHADOWFALL SLAM!

The devastating side slam drives the Wicked Witch into the canvas as the supernatural shadows appear to pull her downward with additional force!

The ring shudders!

A pulse of violet energy races across the magical barrier.

Johnny Michaels: "SHADOWFALL SLAM! GRIZELDA STRIKES FIRST! WHAT A DEVASTATING MANEUVER! She used that supernatural shadow magic to reinforce a powerful side slam, and the Wicked Witch had absolutely no answer! What an extraordinary opening!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, COME ON! The match just started! The Wicked Witch was still preparing her opening spell! You can't expect somebody to defend herself when the shadows are grabbing her ankles! Although I'll admit, that was a rather clever trick from Grizelda!"

Grizelda rises slowly, staring down at her fallen opponent.

The Wicked Witch rolls toward the ropes, clutching her back as she attempts to recover.

Minute 2

Grizelda maintains her aggressive opening, advancing before the Wicked Witch can establish any meaningful offense.

The Wicked Witch attempts to secure a wristlock, but Grizelda twists beneath the grip and counters with a sudden takedown.

As her opponent struggles to recover, Grizelda catches one arm, hooks a leg, and rolls her into an intricate ENCHANTED CRADLE!

The inside cradle is reinforced by shimmering strands of violet magical energy that coil around the Wicked Witch's shoulders and legs!

The trapped competitor twists desperately, attempting to break the restraint.

But Grizelda maintains the hold, forcing her opponent's shoulders toward the canvas before rolling through and releasing the cradle as she rises.

The magical strands dissolve into sparkling violet mist.

Johnny Michaels: "ENCHANTED CRADLE FROM GRIZELDA! Look at the technique! She's combined a traditional wrestling cradle with magical restraints to prevent the Wicked Witch from escaping! And perhaps even more impressive, Grizelda has controlled the opening two minutes almost entirely!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, don't start awarding her the Coven already, Johnny! The Wicked Witch is studying her! She's letting Grizelda demonstrate everything she's got! You don't reveal your most powerful spells before you've figured out what your opponent is capable of!"

Johnny Michaels: "Well, she had better start responding soon, because Grizelda is building a tremendous advantage!"

The Wicked Witch rises with an angry expression, brushing away the last remnants of violet magic from her arms.

Minute 3

The Wicked Witch attempts to change the pace, advancing toward Grizelda with both hands raised.

A green magical glow gathers around her fingers.

But before she can unleash the spell, Grizelda whispers a short incantation.

A swirling cloud of black mist appears near the ring ropes.

From within the darkness emerges a spectral raven, its eyes glowing with pale violet light!

The supernatural familiar circles above the ring before suddenly diving toward the Wicked Witch!

She turns sharply, raising an arm to defend herself against the unexpected apparition.

The raven dissolves into smoke just before reaching her.

But the distraction is enough!

Grizelda surges forward, catches the Wicked Witch with a powerful forearm, and follows with a driving knee that sends her stumbling backward!

The Wicked Witch attempts to retaliate but cannot establish a clean attack before Grizelda forces her away.

Johnny Michaels: "A SPECTRAL RAVEN! GRIZELDA HAS SUMMONED A FAMILIAR INSIDE THE MAGICAL BARRIER! AND THE DISTRACTION ALLOWED HER TO LAND THAT COMBINATION! The Wicked Witch couldn't tell whether the apparition was going to strike, and Grizelda used the hesitation to her advantage!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, NOW HOLD ON A MINUTE! I THOUGHT WE WEREN'T ALLOWING OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE! WHAT'S THAT BIRD DOING IN THERE?!"

Johnny Michaels: "It's a summoned familiar, Eddie! Grizelda created it using her own magic inside the barrier. The restriction is against outside assistance, not the witches' supernatural abilities!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, that's a convenient distinction! Apparently, if the Wicked Witch brings a friend, it's interference, but if Grizelda conjures a bird out of thin air, it's perfectly acceptable! Somebody ought to have a lawyer examine these rules!"

Grizelda raises her hand, and the last remnants of the spectral raven dissolve into the darkness.

The Wicked Witch watches furiously from the corner.

Minute 4

Both witches advance toward the center of the ring, each attempting to establish control through a combination of traditional wrestling and supernatural force.

The Wicked Witch raises one hand, releasing a sharp burst of emerald energy!

Grizelda counters immediately, sweeping her arm across her body and producing a shimmering shield of violet darkness.

The two magical forces collide with a crackling explosion!

The crowd gasps as sparks scatter across the canvas.

The Wicked Witch attempts to close the distance, but Grizelda catches her with a stiff forearm and forces her backward.

Another emerald burst flies toward Grizelda.

She ducks beneath it and counters with a sharp palm strike followed by a sweeping wave of shadow magic!

The Wicked Witch staggers toward the ropes!

The magical barrier briefly flares silver as the stray emerald energy reaches its surface and dissipates harmlessly.

Johnny Michaels: "WE'RE SEEING AN EXTRAORDINARY EXCHANGE OF SPELLS AND COUNTERS! THE WICKED WITCH IS ATTEMPTING TO USE HER EMERALD MAGIC, BUT GRIZELDA IS COUNTERING EVERYTHING! LOOK AT THOSE SHADOW BURSTS! SHE'S FORCING HER OPPONENT BACKWARD!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, don't get too excited! The Wicked Witch is still finding her range! You can't expect every spell to connect perfectly when you're fighting somebody who keeps throwing darkness around the ring! And frankly, Johnny, somebody ought to make sure that barrier is properly insured!"

Grizelda advances with another series of palm strikes, forcing the Wicked Witch to retreat toward the corner.

For the fourth consecutive minute, Grizelda has established the stronger offensive position.

Minute 5

The Wicked Witch finally responds with renewed aggression.

As Grizelda advances, the Wicked Witch releases a sudden burst of emerald energy that forces her opponent to step backward.

Grizelda immediately counters with a wave of violet shadows!

The two magical forces collide in the center of the ring!

A spectacular exchange begins!

The Wicked Witch lashes out with a sharp forearm, followed by a crackling emerald strike.

Grizelda absorbs the blow and answers with a heavy palm strike!

Another magical burst!

Another counter!

The Wicked Witch drives forward with a spinning strike that catches Grizelda across the shoulder!

Grizelda responds with a burst of shadow magic that sends the Wicked Witch staggering backward!

The crowd roars as both women refuse to yield!

Johnny Michaels: "NOW THIS IS A WITCHES BATTLE! THE WICKED WITCH IS FINALLY FIGHTING BACK! EMERALD MAGIC AGAINST SHADOW MAGIC! STRIKE FOR STRIKE! SPELL FOR SPELL! BOTH COMPETITORS ARE LANDING OFFENSE, AND NEITHER IS WILLING TO GIVE AN INCH!"

Eddie Ellington: "THERE SHE IS! THAT'S THE WICKED WITCH I KNOW! She was just waiting for the right moment! Look at those magical strikes! Look at the precision! Grizelda thought she could dominate this contest, but now she's discovering why the Wicked Witch is feared throughout the North!"

The two women separate near the center of the ring, breathing heavily as the audience continues cheering.

Above them, the magical barrier pulses with alternating green and violet light.

Minute 6

Grizelda advances aggressively, attempting to reestablish her earlier advantage.

The Wicked Witch responds by whispering a sinister incantation.

Her eyes flash emerald green.

EYE OF NEWT CURSE!

A twisting cloud of green magical energy envelops Grizelda's head!

For an instant, the challenger appears disoriented, stumbling sideways as her vision blurs.

The Wicked Witch immediately capitalizes, delivering a sharp forearm followed by a crushing knee strike!

Grizelda staggers backward!

Johnny Michaels: "EYE OF NEWT CURSE! THE WICKED WITCH HAS TEMPORARILY DISORIENTED GRIZELDA! AND SHE'S FOLLOWING WITH A SERIES OF STRIKES! THAT IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF SUPERNATURAL OFFENSE THAT MAKES THIS CONTEST SO UNPREDICTABLE!"

Eddie Ellington: "HA! THAT'S IT! BEAUTIFUL SPELLWORK! Why simply punch somebody when you can make the entire world spin around her head first? The Wicked Witch is showing Grizelda what REAL witchcraft looks like!"

But Grizelda refuses to remain helpless.

She plants her feet, shakes away the effects of the curse, and catches the Wicked Witch attempting another strike.

Suddenly, the shadows beneath the Wicked Witch begin twisting upward!

Grizelda secures her opponent around the upper body!

SHADOWFALL SLAM!

The supernatural side slam drives the Wicked Witch into the canvas with tremendous force!

Another violet pulse races across the magical barrier!

Johnny Michaels: "BUT GRIZELDA COUNTERS! SHADOWFALL SLAM! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE RESPONSE! The Wicked Witch landed that Eye of Newt Curse and followed with a strong combination, but Grizelda recovered and delivered another devastating Shadowfall Slam!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, COME ON! SHE HAD HER! The Wicked Witch had Grizelda completely disoriented! But give Grizelda credit for recovering. I'll admit, she's tougher than she looks! Still, one successful slam doesn't make somebody a leader!"

Grizelda rises slowly as the Wicked Witch rolls toward the ropes, clutching her back.

Minute 7

The Wicked Witch struggles upright near the corner, visibly frustrated by her inability to establish a sustained advantage.

She suddenly raises both hands and directs a powerful burst of telekinetic energy toward Grizelda!

SPECTRAL TURNBUCKLE CRUSH!

The invisible force attempts to seize Grizelda and hurl her violently toward the turnbuckles!

But Grizelda reacts immediately!

She twists her body, plants her feet, and sweeps one hand across the approaching magical force!

The telekinetic grip shatters into fragments of green light!

Grizelda breaks free before she can be thrown into the corner!

Then she charges forward!

The shadows beneath the Wicked Witch surge upward once again!

SHADOWFALL SLAM!

Grizelda drives the Wicked Witch into the canvas with another devastating supernatural side slam!

The crowd erupts!

Johnny Michaels: "THE WICKED WITCH WAS GOING FOR THE SPECTRAL TURNBUCKLE CRUSH! BUT GRIZELDA COUNTERED THE TELEKINETIC ATTACK! AND ANOTHER SHADOWFALL SLAM! WHAT A COUNTER! Grizelda has used that maneuver repeatedly tonight, and the Wicked Witch simply cannot find an answer!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, THAT'S INFURIATING! The Wicked Witch had the perfect strategy! Throw Grizelda into the corner and finish her! But those blasted shadows keep interfering with everything! Somebody ought to make Grizelda turn the lights on!"

Johnny Michaels: "The shadows are part of her own supernatural offense, Eddie! And so far, she's using them very effectively!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, she's certainly getting enough practice! But this match isn't over yet!"

The Wicked Witch struggles onto one knee as Grizelda watches her carefully.

Minute 8

Both witches rise near the center of the ring, their movements becoming noticeably slower after the sustained magical confrontation.

The Wicked Witch attempts to establish a defensive position, raising one hand as emerald energy gathers around her fingers.

But Grizelda advances before the spell can fully develop.

She catches her opponent with a stiff forearm!

The Wicked Witch responds with a defensive magical pulse, attempting to force Grizelda backward.

Grizelda counters with a sweeping motion of her arm, releasing a concentrated burst of violet shadow magic!

The supernatural force cuts through the emerald energy and strikes the Wicked Witch across the upper body!

She stumbles backward!

Grizelda follows with a driving knee and another sharp palm strike, forcing her opponent toward the ropes.

Johnny Michaels: "ANOTHER EXCHANGE OF MAGICAL STRIKES! BUT GRIZELDA HAS THE ADVANTAGE! SHE'S BREAKING THROUGH THE WICKED WITCH'S DEFENSES! Look at that combination! A burst of shadow magic followed by physical strikes! The Wicked Witch is having a very difficult time mounting any sustained offense!"

Eddie Ellington: "I DON'T LIKE THIS, JOHNNY! I DON'T LIKE IT ONE BIT! The Wicked Witch needs to slow this match down! She's allowing Grizelda to dictate the pace, and that's exactly what you DON'T want when somebody's trying to steal your leadership position!"

Grizelda steps backward and raises one hand.

The shadows at her feet spread outward in a dark circle before slowly receding.

Across the ring, the Wicked Witch glares at her rival, visibly furious.

Minute 9

Grizelda approaches the corner, studying her opponent as the Wicked Witch struggles to recover.

She begins climbing toward the top turnbuckle.

The audience rises in anticipation.

Grizelda stands above the ring, raising both arms toward the arena ceiling.

A shimmering circle of violet light appears beneath her boots.

Her body rises several inches above the turnbuckle, supported by supernatural levitation!

BROOMSTICK DESCENT!

Grizelda launches forward, attempting a devastating diving double-foot stomp!

But the Wicked Witch has anticipated the attack!

She raises both hands and releases a powerful burst of emerald energy directly beneath her airborne opponent!

The magical force disrupts Grizelda's descent!

The attack is deflected, forcing Grizelda to twist in midair and land awkwardly on her feet several steps away!

Before she can recover, the Wicked Witch drives a sharp forearm into her upper body!

Johnny Michaels: "BROOMSTICK DESCENT! GRIZELDA WAS GOING FOR THAT LEVITATING DOUBLE-FOOT STOMP! BUT THE WICKED WITCH COUNTERED WITH A BURST OF EMERALD MAGIC! WHAT A DEFENSIVE MANEUVER! That could have been a devastating impact if Grizelda had connected!"

Eddie Ellington: "THERE! THERE IT IS! THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! The Wicked Witch finally anticipated one of Grizelda's tricks! You don't try to fly through the air against somebody who understands levitation, Johnny! That's like trying to beat a fish in a swimming contest!"

Johnny Michaels: "Well, that was certainly an important counter! Grizelda has controlled much of the match, but the Wicked Witch may have found an opportunity to turn things around!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT! This is where experience comes into play! The Wicked Witch knows what she's doing!"

The Wicked Witch rises with renewed confidence, releasing a shrill cackle as Grizelda retreats toward the ropes.

Minute 10

The Wicked Witch advances aggressively, attempting to capitalize on the successful counter.

She catches Grizelda with a forearm and attempts to secure a headlock.

But Grizelda twists beneath the grip and moves behind her opponent.

She secures a tight waistlock.

The Wicked Witch attempts to break free, but Grizelda plants her feet and whispers an ancient incantation.

Glowing violet runes appear beneath the competitors!

Grizelda lifts her opponent backward!

COVEN CIRCLE SUPLEX!

The magical-assisted German suplex drives the Wicked Witch onto her shoulders!

Grizelda arches backward into a perfect bridge as the glowing runes reinforce the hold!

The Wicked Witch's shoulders are trapped against the canvas!

Johnny Michaels: "COVEN CIRCLE SUPLEX! GRIZELDA HAS THE BRIDGE! THE WICKED WITCH IS TRAPPED! THIS COULD BE THE END! THIS COULD DECIDE WHO LEADS THE COVEN!"

Eddie Ellington: "NO! NO! NO! COME ON, WICKED WITCH! BREAK THAT HOLD! YOU CAN'T LOSE THE COVEN LIKE THIS!"

Referee 'Honest' Abe drops into position!

ONE!

The Wicked Witch struggles desperately against the magical restraint.

TWO!

She twists her shoulder, forcing enough separation to break the bridge!

THE WICKED WITCH KICKS OUT!

The crowd erupts!

The glowing runes shatter into harmless violet sparks as Grizelda releases the hold.

Johnny Michaels: "SHE KICKED OUT! THE WICKED WITCH SURVIVES THE COVEN CIRCLE SUPLEX! WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY ESCAPE! Grizelda had that bridge secured beautifully, but the Wicked Witch managed to break free before the three-count!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S RIGHT! THAT'S MY WITCH! SHE'S STILL IN THIS MATCH! It takes more than one fancy suplex and a few glowing symbols to take away her authority! The Wicked Witch knows what's at stake! She's fighting for everything!"

Grizelda rises slowly, her expression remaining cold and focused.

She looks toward the fallen Wicked Witch.

Then toward the magical barrier surrounding the ring.

There is no one waiting to interfere.

No allies approaching the apron.

No outside spellcaster capable of breaking through the protective dome.

Only the two witches.

And the struggle for the Coven.

Minute 11

The Wicked Witch slowly pushes herself upright near the center of the ring.

Her breathing is labored, and the effects of Grizelda's sustained offense are becoming unmistakable.

But she refuses to concede.

She raises one hand, gathering the last remnants of emerald magical energy around her fingers.

Grizelda advances cautiously.

The Wicked Witch attempts to release another magical strike!

But Grizelda ducks beneath the attack!

She catches the Wicked Witch around the upper body, securing a powerful grip.

The trapped competitor attempts to twist free.

But Grizelda maintains control.

Suddenly, the shadows beneath their feet begin swirling!

A deep violet glow emerges from the canvas as Grizelda lifts her opponent.

She twists sharply!

CAULDRON CRASH!

The devastating spinning side slam drives the Wicked Witch violently into the canvas!

AT THE MOMENT OF IMPACT, AN EXPLOSIVE BURST OF VIOLET MAGICAL ENERGY ERUPTS ACROSS THE RING!

The force sends a brilliant pulse of light racing through the protective barrier!

The entire dome flashes silver!

The crowd erupts in astonishment!

The Wicked Witch lies motionless on the canvas!

Grizelda immediately turns her opponent onto her back and hooks the leg!

Johnny Michaels: "CAULDRON CRASH! CAULDRON CRASH FROM GRIZELDA! WHAT A DEVASTATING SPINNING SIDE SLAM! AND DID YOU SEE THAT EXPLOSION OF MAGICAL ENERGY?! THE WICKED WITCH IS DOWN! GRIZELDA HAS THE COVER! THIS COULD BE IT!"

Eddie Ellington: "NO! COME ON! GET UP! DON'T LET IT END LIKE THIS! WICKED WITCH, YOU'VE GOT TO KICK OUT!"

Referee 'Honest' Abe drops into position!

ONE!

The Wicked Witch remains motionless!

TWO!

Grizelda tightens the cover!

The Wicked Witch attempts to move her shoulder!

But she cannot escape!

THREE!

DING! DING! DING!

THE NORTH POLE ARENA ERUPTS!

GRIZELDA HAS WON!

THE BATTLE FOR THE COVEN IS OVER!

Grizelda releases the cover and slowly rises to her knees as referee 'Honest' Abe signals the conclusion of the match.

The Wicked Witch remains on the canvas, stunned by the devastating Cauldron Crash.

Above the ring, the magical barrier suddenly begins reacting.

The emerald light that had flickered throughout the contest slowly fades.

The violet and silver runes grow brighter.

Then the entire dome pulses one final time.

The barrier dissolves into thousands of shimmering particles that drift upward and vanish beneath the arena lights.

The ring is no longer sealed.

The result is final.

Johnny Michaels: "SHE'S DONE IT! GRIZELDA HAS DEFEATED THE WICKED WITCH! WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY CONTEST! ELEVEN MINUTES OF SUPERNATURAL OFFENSE, MAGICAL COUNTERS, AND INCREDIBLE WRESTLING! AND WITH THAT CAULDRON CRASH, GRIZELDA HAS CLAIMED LEADERSHIP OF THE COVEN!"

Eddie Ellington: "NO! NO! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! THE WICKED WITCH HAD HER OPPORTUNITIES! SHE COUNTERED THAT BROOMSTICK DESCENT! SHE SURVIVED THE COVEN CIRCLE SUPLEX! AND NOW ONE CAULDRON CRASH ENDS EVERYTHING?! THIS IS A DISASTER!"

Grizelda slowly rises to her feet.

Referee 'Honest' Abe approaches and raises her arm in victory.

A mixture of cheers, boos, and astonished reactions fills the arena.

The victorious witch closes her eyes for a moment.

Then she raises both hands toward the ceiling.

A swirling column of black and violet mist rises around her before spreading outward into the shape of an enormous spectral crown.

The magical image hangs above the ring for several moments.

Then it dissolves.

Grizelda lowers her hands and looks down at the defeated Wicked Witch.

There is no celebration of friendship.

No gesture of reconciliation.

Only the cold satisfaction of a woman who has accomplished precisely what she came to do.

Celeste Orion steps into the ring with her microphone.

Celeste Orion: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! YOUR WINNER, BY PINFALL... GRIZELDA!"

The audience erupts.

Celeste Orion: "AND AS A RESULT OF THIS VICTORY... GRIZELDA IS NOW THE UNDISPUTED LEADER OF THE COVEN!"

Grizelda raises her arms once more, acknowledging the official announcement.

Nearby, the Wicked Witch begins stirring.

She rolls onto her side, clutching her ribs as she struggles to understand what has happened.

Referee 'Honest' Abe approaches to check on her.

But the Wicked Witch angrily pushes his hand away.

She slowly rises onto one knee.

Then she looks toward Grizelda.

The two witches exchange a long, hostile stare.

Johnny Michaels: "And look at the expression on the face of the Wicked Witch! This is a devastating defeat for a competitor who has made her claim to leadership such a central part of her identity! But tonight, with no outside interference possible, Grizelda proved that she could defeat her rival inside the ring!"

Eddie Ellington: "I'll tell you something, Johnny. I don't like the result. I don't like it at all! But even I have to acknowledge that Grizelda came prepared! Those shadow slams were devastating, that Coven Circle Suplex nearly finished the match, and the Cauldron Crash finally did it. The Wicked Witch simply couldn't find an answer tonight!"

Grizelda takes one deliberate step toward her defeated rival.

The Wicked Witch slowly rises to her feet, using the ropes for support.

She stares directly into Grizelda's eyes.

For several long seconds, neither woman speaks.

Then Grizelda extends one hand.

Not in friendship.

Not in celebration.

But with an unmistakable command.

Grizelda: "The Coven has chosen."

The Wicked Witch looks at the extended hand.

Her expression twists with anger.

Wicked Witch: "You may have won the match..."

She takes one slow step backward.

Wicked Witch: "But do not mistake obedience for devotion."

Grizelda remains completely still.

Grizelda: "I have no need of your devotion."

Her eyes narrow.

Grizelda: "Only your recognition."

The Wicked Witch glares at her for another long moment.

Then she turns away.

Slowly, painfully, she steps through the ropes and descends to the arena floor.

She does not look back.

Inside the ring, Grizelda watches her departure without expression.

Johnny Michaels: "Well, there's certainly no love lost between these two! The Wicked Witch has suffered an enormous setback, and I don't believe for a moment that she's going to forget this defeat. But the stipulation was clear, and the result is official. Grizelda is now the leader of the Coven!"

Eddie Ellington: "And that's what worries me, Johnny! The Coven is an organization built around powerful, dangerous personalities. You think everybody's suddenly going to hold hands and start following Grizelda because she won one match? I don't think so! Leadership is one thing. Keeping that leadership is something else entirely!"

Johnny Michaels: "That's certainly an interesting point. Tonight, Grizelda has won the right to lead. But the real test may be what happens when she attempts to exercise that authority over a group whose members have never been particularly inclined toward obedience!"

The camera returns to the ring.

Grizelda stands alone beneath the violet lights.

The glowing runes surrounding the ring have faded, but a faint swirl of supernatural darkness continues gathering around her feet.

She slowly raises one hand.

And with a final movement, the shadows rise around her like the sweeping folds of a royal mantle.

The message is unmistakable.

The Coven has a new leader.

Johnny Michaels: "An extraordinary victory for Grizelda here at Halloween Horror! And what a night this has been! We've witnessed championship defenses, shocking interference, tremendous rivalries, and now a supernatural struggle for control of the Coven! But the biggest match of the night is still ahead!"

Eddie Ellington: "That's right, Johnny! And if you thought two witches throwing spells around was dangerous, just imagine what's going to happen when four enormous monsters are locked inside Hell in a Cell! I'm not sure the North Pole Arena is going to survive the evening!"

Johnny Michaels: "The Halloween Horror main event is approaching! Infernus Rex! Krampus! Master of the Night! Yeti! Four of the most dangerous competitors in NPCW will collide inside Hell in a Cell, and the winner will earn a future opportunity to challenge for the Universal Championship! But first, what a remarkable result we've just witnessed! Grizelda has defeated the Wicked Witch and seized leadership of the Coven!"

GRIZELDA DEFEATS WICKED WITCH VIA PINFALL AT THE 11:00 MINUTE MARK FOLLOWING THE CAULDRON CRASH. GRIZELDA BECOMES THE UNDISPUTED LEADER OF THE COVEN.

The camera captures one final image of Grizelda standing triumphantly in the center of the ring.

Behind her, the enormous entrance screen displays a swirling crown of violet shadows.

Farther up the ramp, the defeated Wicked Witch pauses briefly beneath the entrance lights.

She turns her head just enough to look back toward the ring.

Her expression is filled with bitterness.

Then she disappears into the darkness.

Inside the ring, Grizelda does not acknowledge her departure.

She simply raises one hand toward the arena ceiling.

The shadows answer.

The Halloween Horror logo flashes across the screen as the broadcast transitions away from ringside.

13. THE HUNT CONTINUES

The broadcast cuts backstage to a quieter section of the North Pole Arena.

The festive Halloween decorations that dominate much of the building are noticeably absent here. Instead, the corridor is illuminated by cold overhead lights, with dark equipment cases lining the walls and the distant sounds of the capacity crowd echoing through the building.

Standing before a large NPCW backdrop is SMOOTH SAMANTHA SATIN, still embracing her spectacular Halloween persona as the BLOODY QUEEN.

Her midnight-blue gown, crimson-lined cape, jeweled crown, and delicate theatrical vampire fangs create a striking contrast with the grim figure standing beside her.

VAN HELSING.

The leader of the Hunter's Enclave stands with his arms folded across his chest, his expression stern and unmistakably troubled.

Although a week has nearly passed since his brutal North Pole Championship confrontation at Fault Line, there are still visible signs of the punishment he endured. His movements are slightly guarded, particularly around his ribs and shoulders.

But his eyes remain sharp.

Focused.

Unforgiving.

Samantha turns toward the camera.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Good evening once again, my creatures of the night. Your Bloody Queen has spent this Halloween among monsters, demons, witches, and creatures of extraordinary power. But my next guest has dedicated much of his existence to confronting precisely those kinds of beings."

She turns toward the imposing hunter.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Ladies and gentlemen, the leader of the Hunter's Enclave... Van Helsing."

Van Helsing acknowledges the introduction with a slight nod.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Van Helsing, six days ago at Fault Line, you challenged Grondar the Revenant for the NPCW North Pole Championship. It was an opportunity you had pursued with extraordinary determination, and one that many believed could finally bring an end to Grondar's championship reign."

She pauses.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "But what happened before that match was nothing short of shocking. You were attacked backstage by the Frost Giants, operating under the influence of Magnus Blackwell. You entered the championship contest already injured, and ultimately Grondar retained the title."

Van Helsing's expression darkens.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "You've had nearly a week to reflect upon what happened. How do you feel about the opportunity that was taken from you?"

Van Helsing remains silent for several moments.

Then he slowly unfolds his arms.

Van Helsing: "Taken from me."

He repeats the words quietly, almost thoughtfully.

Van Helsing: "An interesting way of describing it."

His eyes settle upon Samantha.

Van Helsing: "I have spent a lifetime hunting creatures who possess powers beyond the understanding of ordinary men. Vampires. Revenants. Demons. Abominations that crawl from places where no living soul should venture."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "And do you know what I have learned?"

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Tell me."

Van Helsing: "The most dangerous monsters are not always those with claws and fangs."

His voice grows colder.

Van Helsing: "Sometimes they are the men who stand behind them."

He looks directly toward the camera.

Van Helsing: "Magnus Blackwell."

He allows the name to hang in the silence.

Van Helsing: "You stood in that hallway and watched your Frost Giants descend upon me."

He slowly clenches one fist.

Van Helsing: "You watched them attack my ribs. My back. My shoulders. You watched them attempt to break me before I ever set foot inside the ring."

His jaw tightens.

Van Helsing: "And then you stood at ringside, watching with that same satisfied expression, knowing that your champion was facing a wounded opponent."

He shakes his head slowly.

Van Helsing: "That was not confidence, Magnus."

His voice hardens.

Van Helsing: "That was fear."

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Fear? You're suggesting that Magnus Blackwell was afraid you would defeat Grondar?"

Van Helsing: "I am suggesting nothing."

He looks directly into the camera.

Van Helsing: "I am telling him."

A long silence follows.

Van Helsing: "Grondar the Revenant is a formidable creature. I have never denied that. His strength is extraordinary. His resilience is unquestionable. His championship reign has been built upon victories over some of the most dangerous competitors in NPCW."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "And I entered Fault Line prepared to face him."

His expression becomes grim.

Van Helsing: "What I was not prepared to accept was a coward arranging an ambush to ensure that the contest would never be fought on equal terms."

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Yet despite those injuries, you competed for fifteen minutes. And there were moments during that match when it appeared you might still overcome the disadvantage."

Van Helsing nods.

Van Helsing: "Because that is what hunters do."

He draws a slow breath.

Van Helsing: "We do not abandon the hunt because the darkness grows stronger. We do not turn away because our bodies are wounded. We continue until the threat has been eliminated."

He glances toward his injured ribs.

Van Helsing: "I entered that ring knowing I was injured. I knew every breath would hurt. I knew every impact would be worse because of what had happened backstage."

He looks back toward Samantha.

Van Helsing: "But I also knew that if I walked away, Magnus Blackwell would have accomplished everything he intended."

His voice becomes firm.

Van Helsing: "So I fought."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "And I nearly succeeded."

Smooth Samantha Satin: "There was also the interference from Magnus during the contest itself, when his actions delayed the referee at a crucial moment."

Van Helsing: "Yes."

A bitter smile crosses his face.

Van Helsing: "Even after sending the Frost Giants, he could not simply stand aside and allow his champion to finish the task."

He shakes his head.

Van Helsing: "And in the end, Grondar caught me with the Aftermath. The referee counted three."

He looks directly at the camera.

Van Helsing: "I lost."

The admission is quiet and deliberate.

Van Helsing: "I will not pretend otherwise. I will not erase the result because the circumstances were unjust."

His expression becomes colder.

Van Helsing: "But neither will I forget how that result was arranged."

Samantha nods thoughtfully.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Does that mean you're seeking another opportunity against Grondar the Revenant?"

Van Helsing considers the question.

Van Helsing: "Grondar still possesses the North Pole Championship."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "And Magnus Blackwell still believes that hiding behind monsters makes him untouchable."

His eyes narrow.

Van Helsing: "Neither of those circumstances is permanent."

He steps slightly closer to the camera.

Van Helsing: "I have not forgotten the Revenant. I have not forgotten the Frost Giants. And I have certainly not forgotten the man who gave them their orders."

His voice lowers.

Van Helsing: "The hunt does not end because the prey survives one encounter."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "It ends when there is nothing left to hunt."

Samantha watches him carefully before changing the subject.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "And speaking of hunts, there's another matter I wanted to discuss. Convergence is approaching, and your attention is not limited to the North Pole Championship picture."

Van Helsing slowly turns his head toward her.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "You have a confrontation awaiting you with one of HCW's most dangerous competitors. Terrible Herse."

At the mention of the name, Van Helsing's expression becomes even more severe.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "You placed the Hunter's Enclave mark upon him, making it very clear that he had become a target. And now, at Convergence, the two of you are scheduled to meet. What message do you have for Terrible Herse?"

Van Helsing remains silent for several seconds.

Then he slowly lifts his head.

Van Helsing: "Terrible Herse."

He speaks the name as though delivering a sentence.

Van Helsing: "There are some creatures who believe that crossing from one territory into another makes them immune to judgment."

His eyes remain fixed upon the camera.

Van Helsing: "They believe that borders protect them. That changing arenas changes the rules. That the Hunter's Enclave will not pursue them beyond the boundaries of NPCW."

He shakes his head.

Van Helsing: "They are mistaken."

He raises one hand, pointing toward the camera.

Van Helsing: "When the Enclave marks a target, it is not an invitation."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "It is a declaration."

His voice becomes unmistakably threatening.

Van Helsing: "It means we have seen you. We have measured the danger you represent. And we have determined that the time has come for you to answer for it."

Smooth Samantha Satin: "And that is what awaits Terrible Herse at Convergence?"

Van Helsing: "At Convergence, Terrible Herse will learn what others have already discovered."

He steps closer.

Van Helsing: "You can flee from the Hunter's Enclave."

A brief pause.

Van Helsing: "You can fight us."

Another pause.

Van Helsing: "You can convince yourself that the mark means nothing."

His expression hardens.

Van Helsing: "But once you have been marked..."

He leans slightly toward the microphone.

Van Helsing: "...the hunt has already begun."

Samantha allows the declaration to linger before raising her microphone again.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "A very clear warning. And after everything that happened at Fault Line, I imagine Terrible Herse would be wise not to underestimate your determination."

Van Helsing gives a slight nod.

Van Helsing: "He would be wise to understand something else."

His expression remains cold.

Van Helsing: "I have already been wounded. I have already been beaten. And I have already endured the consequences of trusting that my enemies would face me honorably."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "I will not make that mistake again."

Samantha turns toward the camera, preparing to conclude the interview.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Well, there you have it. Van Helsing remains determined to settle his unfinished business with Magnus Blackwell and Grondar the Revenant, while another dangerous confrontation looms at Convergence against HCW's Terrible Herse."

She smiles faintly.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "And as your Bloody Queen, I must say that tonight's Halloween Horror has certainly reminded us that some monsters are best approached with considerable caution."

But before she can continue...

A dark figure suddenly appears at the far end of the corridor behind Van Helsing.

The camera catches the movement.

Samantha does not.

Neither does the Hunter.

The figure moves swiftly toward them.

Then...

WHAM!

A MASSIVE FOREARM CRASHES INTO VAN HELSING'S UPPER BACK!

The Hunter is driven violently forward into the interview backdrop!

Samantha screams and staggers away!

Smooth Samantha Satin: "OH MY GOD!"

The attacker steps into the light.

TERRIBLE HERSE!

THE HCW COMPETITOR HAS INVADED THE NORTH POLE ARENA!

And he has come directly for the man who marked him!

Van Helsing attempts to turn around, but Herse catches him by the shoulder and drives another crushing forearm into his upper body!

The Hunter crashes sideways into a stack of equipment cases!

The cases topple across the floor with a tremendous metallic crash!

Herse advances immediately, refusing to give his opponent an opportunity to recover.

He grabs Van Helsing by the front of his clothing and drives him backward into the concrete wall!

Van Helsing recoils, his already injured ribs absorbing another devastating impact!

Terrible Herse: "YOU THINK YOU CAN MARK ME?!"

Herse pulls the Hunter upright.

Terrible Herse: "YOU THINK YOU CAN PUT YOUR LITTLE SYMBOL ON ME AND DECLARE OPEN SEASON?!"

He drives a brutal knee into Van Helsing's midsection!

The Hunter doubles over, clutching his ribs.

Terrible Herse: "I'M NOT YOUR PREY!"

Herse catches Van Helsing around the upper body and slams him against another equipment case!

The impact sends a portable light fixture crashing to the floor!

The broadcast camera shakes as the cameraman retreats to avoid the chaos.

Samantha has moved several steps away, her vampire queen cape sweeping behind her as she attempts to summon assistance.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "SECURITY! WE NEED SECURITY BACK HERE! NOW!"

Terrible Herse ignores her completely.

His attention remains fixed upon the Hunter.

Van Helsing attempts to rise, bracing one hand against the equipment case.

Herse advances again.

But this time, the Hunter is ready!

Van Helsing suddenly surges upward and drives a powerful forearm into Herse's jaw!

The HCW competitor staggers backward!

Van Helsing follows with another heavy strike!

And another!

The crowd inside the arena can be heard roaring as the confrontation plays across the enormous screens!

Van Helsing: "YOU WANT THE HUNTER?!"

He drives Herse backward against the corridor wall!

Van Helsing: "THEN FACE HIM!"

Van Helsing attempts another strike, but his damaged ribs suddenly betray him.

He hesitates for a fraction of a second.

And Herse immediately exploits the opening!

The HCW competitor catches the Hunter around the upper body and drives him into the wall with a crushing shoulder tackle!

Van Helsing staggers backward, struggling to remain upright.

Herse seizes him again and throws him across the corridor!

The Hunter crashes into a metal storage cabinet!

The cabinet doors fly open as equipment spills onto the floor.

Van Helsing drops to one knee.

Terrible Herse stands over him, breathing heavily.

Terrible Herse: "LOOK AT ME!"

He grabs the Hunter by the head, forcing him to look upward.

Terrible Herse: "YOU MARKED THE WRONG MAN!"

He shoves Van Helsing backward against the cabinet.

Terrible Herse: "YOU WANT A HUNT?!"

His voice rises.

Terrible Herse: "YOU'VE GOT ONE!"

He steps closer.

Terrible Herse: "BUT AT CONVERGENCE..."

He points directly toward the Hunter.

Terrible Herse: "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S GOING TO BE HUNTED!"

Before Herse can deliver another blow, several NPCW security officers come charging around the corner!

Two officials immediately move between the competitors.

Another pair attempts to force Herse backward.

But the HCW superstar is far from finished!

He shoves one security officer aside and attempts to lunge toward Van Helsing again!

The remaining officers intercept him, forcing him backward toward the far end of the corridor.

Van Helsing uses the cabinet to pull himself upright.

His breathing is heavy.

One hand remains pressed against his injured ribs.

But his expression is no longer merely stern.

It is furious.

Van Helsing attempts to advance toward Herse, but two additional security officers step into his path.

Van Helsing: "LET HIM GO."

The security officers hesitate.

Van Helsing: "I SAID, LET HIM GO!"

Across the corridor, Herse struggles against the officers restraining him.

Terrible Herse: "COME ON, HUNTER! YOU WANTED ME! I'M RIGHT HERE!"

Van Helsing stops struggling.

He slowly straightens his posture, despite the obvious pain.

Then he fixes Herse with a cold, unwavering stare.

Van Helsing: "You have made a grave mistake."

Herse laughs defiantly.

Terrible Herse: "I DON'T THINK SO!"

Van Helsing shakes his head.

Van Helsing: "You believe you have frightened me."

He takes one deliberate step forward.

Van Helsing: "You believe attacking a wounded man from behind makes you dangerous."

His voice becomes quieter.

Van Helsing: "But you have accomplished only one thing."

He raises one hand and points directly toward Herse.

Van Helsing: "You have ensured that when we meet at Convergence..."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "...there will be no mercy."

Herse attempts to break free again, but the security officers force him farther down the corridor.

Terrible Herse: "I'LL SEE YOU AT CONVERGENCE, HUNTER! I'LL SEE YOU THERE!"

His voice echoes as security finally escorts him around the corner and out of sight.

The corridor falls into an uneasy silence.

Equipment lies scattered across the floor.

One of the portable lights flickers beside an overturned storage case.

Samantha cautiously approaches Van Helsing, her earlier playful Halloween demeanor completely gone.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Van Helsing! Are you all right? Do you need medical assistance?"

Van Helsing remains focused on the corridor where Terrible Herse disappeared.

He does not immediately answer.

Finally, he turns toward Samantha.

Van Helsing: "No."

He takes a slow breath.

Van Helsing: "I need him to understand."

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Understand what?"

Van Helsing looks directly toward the camera.

Van Helsing: "That the mark was never a threat."

He pauses.

Van Helsing: "It was a warning."

His eyes narrow.

Van Helsing: "And he has just ignored it."

Van Helsing turns away from the interview position and walks slowly down the corridor, one hand still pressed against his injured ribs.

Samantha watches him depart before turning back toward the camera.

Her expression is serious.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "Ladies and gentlemen, what was supposed to be an interview about the aftermath of Fault Line has turned into an extraordinary confrontation. HCW's Terrible Herse has invaded the North Pole Arena and launched a vicious surprise attack against Van Helsing in retaliation for being marked by the Hunter's Enclave."

She glances toward the scattered equipment.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "And with these two men scheduled to meet at Convergence, I think it's safe to say that what was already a dangerous confrontation has become considerably more personal."

She pauses.

Smooth Samantha Satin: "This is Smooth Samantha Satin, reporting from backstage at Halloween Horror. Back to ringside."

The broadcast cuts to Johnny Michaels and Eddie Ellington, both visibly shocked by what they have just witnessed.

Johnny Michaels: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WHAT AN APPALLING ATTACK! TERRIBLE HERSE HAS COME FROM HCW AND AMBUSHED VAN HELSING RIGHT HERE AT THE NORTH POLE ARENA! And remember, Van Helsing is still recovering from that brutal attack by the Frost Giants before his North Pole Championship match at Fault Line! Herse knew exactly when to strike!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, Johnny, I don't condone attacking somebody during an interview, but there's something Van Helsing ought to understand! You can't go around marking dangerous people and expect them to send you a thank-you card! Terrible Herse obviously took that mark personally, and tonight he delivered his response!"

Johnny Michaels: "A response? He attacked an injured man from behind, Eddie! That's not a response! That's a calculated assault! And when those two meet at Convergence, I have a feeling we're going to see a very different Van Helsing from the one who was ambushed tonight!"

Eddie Ellington: "And Herse had better be ready for that! Because whether you like Van Helsing or not, one thing is certain. That man remembers EVERYTHING! And now he's got another reason to make Convergence very unpleasant for somebody!"

Johnny Michaels: "An explosive confrontation between NPCW and HCW, and another enormous development on the road to Convergence! But ladies and gentlemen, we still have our Halloween Horror main event ahead of us!"

The camera cuts to an ominous image of the massive Hell in a Cell structure suspended above the ring.

Johnny Michaels: "INFERNUS REX! KRAMPUS! MASTER OF THE NIGHT! YETI! Four monsters will be locked inside that steel structure, and the winner will earn a future opportunity to challenge for the NPCW Universal Championship! The stakes could not be higher, and that incredible confrontation is NEXT!"

Eddie Ellington: "FOUR MONSTERS! ONE STEEL PRISON! AND A UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY! Johnny, after everything we've seen tonight, I don't know how Halloween Horror could possibly get any more dangerous!"

The camera lingers on the enormous steel structure as crimson lighting washes across the arena.

The Halloween Horror logo appears across the screen.

ONLY THE FIGHT. ONLY THE NORTH.

14. MAIN EVENT

The broadcast returns to the North Pole Arena for the main event of Polar Power 079 — Halloween Horror Special.

The arena is almost completely dark.

Above the ring, illuminated by slowly rotating crimson spotlights, hangs one of the most intimidating structures in professional wrestling.

HELL IN A CELL.

The enormous steel enclosure looms over the squared circle, its reinforced mesh walls and heavy roof casting a vast shadow across the canvas. Beneath it, the ring has been bathed in an unsettling mixture of blood-red and icy-blue illumination.

The giant entrance screen displays four monstrous silhouettes.

Fire.

Chains.

Darkness.

Ice.

And beneath them, a single message:

FOUR MONSTERS. ONE CELL. ONE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY.

The camera sweeps across the capacity crowd, where thousands of fans are on their feet in anticipation.

At ringside, Johnny Michaels and Eddie Ellington prepare for the final contest of an extraordinary Halloween evening.

Johnny Michaels: "Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached the moment we've been waiting for all night! Our Halloween Horror main event! Four of the most dangerous competitors in NPCW will enter Hell in a Cell, and only one can emerge with the right to challenge for the NPCW Universal Championship! Infernus Rex! Krampus! Master of the Night! And the Alpha Beast, Yeti!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, THIS IS MAGNIFICENT, JOHNNY! Look at that structure! Look at the size of it! You're putting four absolute monsters inside a steel prison, and then you're telling them that whoever survives gets a Universal Championship opportunity! Whoever came up with this idea deserves either a promotion or a psychiatric evaluation!"

Johnny Michaels: "And what a fascinating collection of competitors! Infernus Rex comes into this match with enormous momentum following his victory over Rudolph at Fault Line, although his actions in HCW have already earned him and Count Vlad substantial fines from Commissioner Santa Claus. And remember, Infernus Rex is scheduled to face Jack Lumber for the Convergent Championship inside Hell in a Cell at Convergence Night Two!"

Eddie Ellington: "Which means he has an advantage, Johnny! Two Hell in a Cell matches in less than a month! By the time Convergence arrives, Infernus Rex could be the most experienced monster in this entire type of environment! Although I wouldn't want to be Jack Lumber when that happens!"

Johnny Michaels: "Then there's Krampus, who lost a brutal Northern Lights Championship confrontation against Wilber 'Terrorfang' Townsend last weekend. He'll be looking to rebound tonight, and his ongoing rivalry with the Infernal Legion adds another dangerous element to this contest!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, yes, wonderful. Krampus. The walking Christmas nightmare. The man who believes that carrying chains and looking miserable qualifies him to rule the world! I can appreciate a dangerous competitor, Johnny, but there's something about that horned brute I find particularly unpleasant. Maybe it's the attitude. Maybe it's the smell. Maybe it's Grinch Heyman!"

Johnny Michaels: "We also have the Master of the Night, whose association with Count Daculescu and the House of Night has made him one of the most feared competitors in NPCW. Earlier tonight, he made it clear that he views this steel structure not as a prison for himself, but as a prison for his opponents!"

Eddie Ellington: "Now THAT is a man I admire! Elegant! Intelligent! Dangerous! A creature who understands that terror should be delivered with a little sophistication! If the Master of the Night wins this match, I won't be surprised in the slightest!"

Johnny Michaels: "And finally, Yeti. The self-proclaimed Alpha Beast of the Primal Expanse. He defeated Bigfoot in their Arctic Wastes confrontation at Fault Line, and earlier tonight he demanded that Bigfoot acknowledge him as the undisputed Alpha!"

Eddie Ellington: "And I enjoyed every second of it! That's leadership, Johnny! You challenge the Alpha, you lose, and then you acknowledge the better beast! Simple! Yeti has conquered the Arctic Wastes, and now he intends to conquer Hell in a Cell! I like his chances!"

Johnny Michaels: "Four competitors with four very different motivations, but only one can win! And remember, this is a Fatal Four-Way. The first pinfall or submission decides the contest. There are no eliminations, no disqualifications, and no countouts. And with that steel structure surrounding the ring, the possibilities for destruction are almost limitless!"

Eddie Ellington: "And with all four of these monsters inside, Johnny, I don't think we're going to need a wrestling ring when this is over! We might need a construction crew!"

The arena lights suddenly extinguish.

A deep, echoing toll of an enormous iron bell reverberates throughout the building.

Heavy chains begin rattling across the sound system.

The giant entrance screen displays a twisted winter forest, its ancient trees bent beneath the weight of snow and darkness.

A monstrous horned silhouette emerges through the swirling mist.

Then the terrifying entrance music of KRAMPUS erupts through the arena.

From behind the curtain emerges GRINCH HEYMAN, his expression one of intense calculation.

He pauses beneath the entrance lights and raises one hand toward the tunnel.

And from the darkness steps KRAMPUS.

The enormous horned creature advances slowly, the heavy chains accompanying his appearance clattering against one another.

His expression is savage, his movements deliberate and menacing.

He pauses at the top of the ramp, staring directly at the suspended steel structure.

Then he throws his head backward and releases an enormous guttural roar!

The crowd responds with a tremendous mixture of cheers and boos.

Grinch Heyman gestures toward the ring, speaking urgently to his monstrous client.

Krampus begins walking toward the cell, his eyes fixed upon the enormous structure.

Upon reaching ringside, he stops and places one hand against the steel mesh awaiting him.

He slowly tightens his fingers around it.

Then he smiles.

Krampus enters the ring and moves toward his corner, never taking his eyes off the other entrance tunnel.

Johnny Michaels: "There is Krampus! And after the disappointment of Fault Line, I cannot imagine a more motivated competitor! A victory tonight could immediately restore his championship aspirations, but he'll have to overcome three extraordinarily dangerous opponents!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, I hope he's brought something better than those chains, Johnny! He couldn't defeat Wilber Townsend last weekend, and now he's going to face three monsters at once! Maybe Grinch Heyman should've brought a written apology and asked the others to take it easy on him!"

The ominous music fades.

A low, hypnotic heartbeat echoes throughout the arena.

Crimson moonlight spreads across the entrance stage as enormous gothic windows appear on the giant screen.

The silhouette of a distant castle rises above a landscape of blackened trees.

Then the haunting entrance music of the MASTER OF THE NIGHT begins.

COUNT DACULESCU emerges first, immaculate in his dark formal attire.

Beside him walks the elegant and dangerous MISTRESS OF THE NIGHT.

The two pause and turn toward the entrance.

Through a curtain of crimson mist emerges the MASTER OF THE NIGHT.

He stands perfectly still beneath the blood-red lighting, surveying the arena with an expression of aristocratic superiority.

His eyes settle upon the steel structure.

A slow smile appears.

The Master begins walking toward the ring, accompanied by the Count and Mistress.

His movements are unhurried.

Where others might show apprehension at the prospect of entering Hell in a Cell, the Master appears almost delighted.

At ringside, Count Daculescu offers a final word of instruction.

The Master of the Night responds with a slight nod before entering the ring.

He walks directly toward Krampus, stopping just beyond arm's reach.

The two monsters exchange an ominous stare before referee 'Honest' Abe orders them toward separate corners.

Johnny Michaels: "And here comes the Master of the Night! Accompanied by Count Daculescu and the Mistress of the Night! One of the most calculating competitors in NPCW, and a man who made it abundantly clear earlier tonight that he intends to emerge with the Universal Championship opportunity!"

Eddie Ellington: "LOOK AT THAT CONFIDENCE! Not one trace of fear! Not one moment of hesitation! The Master of the Night understands that a steel cage is only frightening if you believe somebody else controls what happens inside! And with Count Daculescu directing him, he's going to be very difficult to beat!"

The crimson lighting suddenly fades.

An icy wind howls through the sound system.

The entrance screen transforms into a sweeping Arctic landscape, with enormous glaciers, towering mountains, and violent snowstorms.

Through the blizzard emerges the insignia of the PRIMAL EXPANSE.

A thunderous roar shakes the building.

Then ALPHA BEAST YETI emerges from the entrance tunnel!

The enormous white-furred monster pauses at the top of the ramp, his massive frame illuminated by icy-blue spotlights.

He pounds both fists against his chest and throws his head backward!

A tremendous roar echoes through the North Pole Arena!

The audience responds with a deafening reaction.

Yeti looks directly toward the cell.

His expression is not one of concern.

It is one of anticipation.

He begins advancing toward the ring with heavy, powerful strides.

As he reaches ringside, he briefly pauses before the steel enclosure, surveying its height and reinforced roof.

Then he places one enormous hand against the mesh and releases a low, threatening growl.

Yeti steps into the ring and immediately approaches the two competitors already waiting.

Krampus bares his teeth.

The Master of the Night smiles coldly.

Yeti answers them both with another thunderous roar.

Johnny Michaels: "THERE HE IS! THE ALPHA BEAST! YETI! And after defeating Bigfoot in the Arctic Wastes at Fault Line, he has made his ambitions perfectly clear! He intends to establish himself not merely as the leader of the Primal Expanse, but as one of the dominant forces in all of NPCW!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND LOOK AT HIM! That's a beast who understands what power means! Yeti isn't impressed by chains, darkness, or flames! He believes the strongest survives, and tonight he's going to put that belief to the ultimate test! I like his chances, Johnny! I like them a LOT!"

Suddenly, the arena plunges into darkness.

A tremendous explosion echoes through the building!

The entrance screen erupts into a sea of crimson and orange flames.

Molten rock pours across the display as the enormous insignia of the INFERNAL LEGION appears.

Then comes a deep, terrifying roar.

COUNT VLAD emerges from the entrance tunnel, wearing his customary expression of aristocratic superiority.

He pauses at the top of the ramp, surveying the arena before raising both hands.

Columns of flame erupt along the entrance stage!

And through the inferno steps INFERNUS REX!

The monstrous powerhouse advances with heavy, deliberate strides, his immense frame dominating the entrance platform.

His fiery eyes burn with violent intensity.

He pauses beneath the enormous flames and pounds one massive fist against his chest.

Then he releases a deafening roar that seems to shake the arena itself!

Count Vlad smiles approvingly.

The two begin walking toward the ring.

At ringside, Infernus Rex stops before the suspended cell.

He places one enormous hand against the steel mesh.

Then he strikes it violently with his fist!

The metal rattles.

Count Vlad approaches and offers a few final instructions.

Infernus Rex responds with a low growl before climbing onto the apron and stepping into the ring.

The other three competitors immediately turn toward him.

For several seconds, all four monsters stand motionless.

Four enormous figures.

Four dangerous ambitions.

One extraordinary prize.

Johnny Michaels: "AND HERE COMES INFERNUS REX! WHAT AN INTIMIDATING SIGHT! He defeated Rudolph in a brutal No Disqualification Match at Fault Line, and now he has another opportunity to establish himself as one of the most dangerous competitors in NPCW!"

Eddie Ellington: "I LOVE THIS MAN! I LOVE THE POWER! I LOVE THE AGGRESSION! And I especially love that he's completely unconcerned about what anybody thinks of him! Infernus Rex doesn't want to win a popularity contest! He wants to destroy three monsters and walk away with a Universal Championship match!"

Count Vlad, Count Daculescu, the Mistress of the Night, and Grinch Heyman are directed away from the ring as the cell begins to descend.

The enormous structure moves slowly downward.

Steel chains grind above the arena as the walls approach the floor.

The audience begins chanting in anticipation.

Finally, the entire structure settles into position around the ring.

The reinforced steel door is closed.

A heavy chain is wrapped around the entrance.

The lock is secured.

All four competitors are now trapped inside.

And the crowd erupts.

Johnny Michaels: "THE CELL IS LOCKED! THERE IS NO ESCAPE! NO DISQUALIFICATION! NO COUNT-OUT! AND NO ELIMINATIONS! The first pinfall or submission wins the right to challenge for the Universal Championship!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND I WOULDN'T WANT TO BE ANYWHERE NEAR THAT RING RIGHT NOW! Four monsters, one cell, and nobody's coming out until somebody wins! THIS IS GOING TO BE BEAUTIFUL!"

Celeste Orion, having completed her position at the ringside microphone before the enclosure was sealed, makes the official introductions.

Celeste Orion: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! IT IS TIME FOR YOUR HALLOWEEN HORROR MAIN EVENT!"

The North Pole Arena erupts!

Celeste Orion: "THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS A FATAL FOUR-WAY HELL IN A CELL MATCH! THE WINNER WILL EARN A FUTURE OPPORTUNITY TO CHALLENGE FOR THE NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP!"

The crowd roars.

Celeste Orion: "INTRODUCING THE COMPETITORS! FIRST, REPRESENTING THE DEMONIC LEGION... KRAMPUS!"

Krampus releases a guttural roar, raising his heavy arms toward the audience.

Celeste Orion: "SECOND, REPRESENTING THE HOUSE OF NIGHT... THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT!"

The Master slowly raises one hand, offering an arrogant smile beneath the crimson lights.

Celeste Orion: "THIRD, REPRESENTING THE PRIMAL EXPANSE... THE ALPHA BEAST... YETI!"

Yeti pounds his chest and releases an enormous roar.

Celeste Orion: "AND FINALLY, REPRESENTING THE INFERNAL LEGION... INFERNUS REX!"

Infernus Rex throws his head backward and unleashes a thunderous roar as the crowd responds with deafening noise.

Referee 'Honest' Abe moves toward the center of the ring.

He examines all four competitors.

Then he raises one hand.

The bell rings!

DING! DING! DING!

Minute 1

The four monsters immediately spread across the ring, each studying the others for an opening.

For a moment, nobody moves.

Then Infernus Rex suddenly surges forward!

He charges directly toward the Master of the Night, driving a crushing forearm across his upper body!

The Master staggers backward toward the ropes.

Infernus follows, seizing his opponent around the head and neck.

He forces the Master between the ropes and onto the narrow floor separating the ring from the steel wall!

Then he grabs the vampire by the back of the head.

CRASH!

INFERNUS REX RAMS THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT'S HEAD DIRECTLY INTO THE STEEL CAGE!

The metal mesh rattles violently!

The Master recoils, clutching his head.

But Infernus is not finished.

He pulls his opponent upright and drives him face-first against the steel a second time!

The impact draws an enormous reaction from the audience.

Johnny Michaels: "OH MY GOODNESS! WE'VE BARELY STARTED THIS MATCH, AND INFERNUS REX IS ALREADY USING THE CELL AS A WEAPON! HE'S RAMMED THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT HEADFIRST INTO THAT STEEL TWICE! WHAT A VIOLENT OPENING!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! Infernus Rex didn't come here to wrestle a technical exhibition! He came here to HURT PEOPLE! And look at that cage! It's the perfect weapon! No need to bring a chair when you've got several tons of steel surrounding the ring!"

Johnny Michaels: "And the Master of the Night is already in serious trouble! He talked earlier about how comfortable he would be inside this structure, but I don't think he anticipated being introduced to its walls quite so quickly!"

Eddie Ellington: "Oh, he'll recover! I like the Master, Johnny! But I like the attitude from Infernus Rex even more! Make a statement early and make everybody else afraid to approach you!"

Infernus releases another roar as the Master collapses toward the floor.

Elsewhere, Krampus and Yeti begin circling one another inside the ring.

Minute 2

Krampus breaks away from Yeti and charges toward the recovering Master of the Night, who has managed to roll back beneath the ropes.

The horned monster catches the vampire by the throat and forces him upright.

He traps the Master between his legs, preparing to deliver his devastating DEMONIC DRIVER!

But the Master suddenly fights back!

He drives a sharp forearm into Krampus's upper body, breaking the grip before the tombstone piledriver can be completed!

Krampus staggers backward.

The Master seizes the opportunity.

He catches Krampus around the head, surges toward the ropes, and uses the momentum to drive him violently downward!

THE IMPALER!

The slingshot brainbuster sends Krampus crashing onto the canvas!

The crowd erupts!

The Master immediately hooks the leg!

Johnny Michaels: "THE IMPALER! THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT JUST COUNTERED THE DEMONIC DRIVER AND DELIVERED A DEVASTATING SLINGSHOT BRAINBUSTER! AND WE HAVE THE FIRST COVER OF THE MATCH!"

Eddie Ellington: "YES! THAT'S IT! KRAMPUS THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO FINISH THE MASTER EARLY, AND NOW HE'S THE ONE LOOKING AT THE LIGHTS! COUNT HIM, ABE!"

Referee 'Honest' Abe drops into position!

ONE!

TWO!

KRAMPUS KICKS OUT!

The horned monster throws one shoulder upward before the three-count!

Johnny Michaels: "AND KRAMPUS SURVIVES! An incredibly dangerous early opportunity for the Master of the Night, and remember, this match can end at any moment! One successful pinfall eliminates the other three competitors from championship contention!"

Eddie Ellington: "Unfortunately, the big horned nuisance is still moving! But what a counter by the Master! That's intelligence, Johnny! Krampus has power, but the Master has precision!"

Minute 3

The Master of the Night rises following the unsuccessful cover, but he has barely regained his footing when Infernus Rex storms back into the ring!

The Infernal monster catches the Master with a crushing forearm.

Another follows!

The vampire attempts to defend himself, but Infernus forces him backward before locking both arms around his waist.

With a tremendous burst of strength, Infernus Rex lifts the Master into the air!

GUTWRENCH POWERBOMB!

The Master crashes violently into the canvas!

The entire ring shudders from the impact!

Infernus rises and pounds his chest, releasing another guttural roar.

Johnny Michaels: "GUTWRENCH POWERBOMB! WHAT AN ENORMOUS IMPACT FROM INFERNUS REX! The Master of the Night barely had an opportunity to recover from that exchange with Krampus, and now he's been driven into the mat by one of the most powerful competitors in NPCW!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S BEAUTIFUL! That's what I love about a Fatal Four-Way! You can hit somebody with your best move, but there's another monster waiting to hit YOU! And Infernus Rex is making sure everybody understands that he's the most dangerous creature in this cell!"

The Master rolls toward the ropes, clutching his back as Infernus stalks him.

On the opposite side of the ring, Yeti turns his attention toward Krampus.

Minute 4

Krampus struggles upright near the ropes, still recovering from the Impaler.

Yeti advances with enormous, deliberate strides.

The two monsters collide in the center of the ring!

Krampus catches the Alpha Beast with a heavy forearm, but Yeti answers with a thunderous strike of his own!

At ringside, beyond the steel enclosure, Count Daculescu suddenly raises one hand.

A strange crimson shimmer begins rippling across the cage wall.

For an instant, a shadowy duplicate of the Count appears inside the enclosure near the opposite corner!

Referee 'Honest' Abe turns sharply toward the apparition.

The illusion vanishes almost immediately.

But the distraction has momentarily diverted the official's attention!

Yeti seizes Krampus around the upper body, lifts him against the ropes, and drives him violently backward with an enormous crushing slam!

The horned monster crashes onto the canvas!

Yeti follows with a powerful body press before rising triumphantly.

Johnny Michaels: "WHAT WAS THAT?! COUNT DACULESCU APPEARS TO HAVE CREATED SOME KIND OF ILLUSION! THE REFEREE WAS DISTRACTED, AND YETI HAS JUST DRIVEN KRAMPUS INTO THE CANVAS! The magical interference is absolutely extraordinary, but this is Hell in a Cell! There's nothing the official can do about outside involvement unless the rules specifically prohibit it!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, I don't know what I just saw, Johnny, but I liked the result! Yeti just flattened Krampus! And if Count Daculescu can entertain the referee with a few magic tricks while that happens, who am I to complain?"

Krampus rolls toward the ropes, snarling angrily as Yeti pounds his enormous fists against his chest.

Minute 5

Infernus Rex turns toward the recovering Krampus and advances with a furious expression.

The two rivals immediately exchange heavy blows!

Krampus catches Infernus with a powerful forearm.

Infernus answers with a tremendous open-handed strike!

Neither monster retreats.

Then Krampus suddenly steps backward and raises his leg!

SHADOW STRIKE!

The devastating superkick catches Infernus Rex across the jaw!

The Infernal monster staggers.

But he does not fall!

Instead, Infernus pivots violently and swings his enormous arm!

HELLGATE LARIAT!

The discus lariat crashes into Krampus, sending the horned monster sprawling across the canvas!

Johnny Michaels: "SHADOW STRIKE FROM KRAMPUS! BUT INFERNUS REX ANSWERS WITH THE HELLGATE LARIAT! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXCHANGE BETWEEN THESE TWO RIVALS! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LOVE LOST BETWEEN THE DEMONIC LEGION AND THE INFERNAL LEGION!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S THE WAY, INFERNUS! Krampus thought he was going to knock the big man down with a superkick, and Infernus practically took his head off with that lariat! That's how you answer an insult!"

Infernus stands over Krampus, breathing heavily as the crowd roars.

But across the ring, Yeti has already begun advancing.

Minute 6

Yeti charges toward Infernus Rex, but the Infernal monster ducks aside, forcing the Alpha Beast toward the corner.

The Master of the Night suddenly intercepts Yeti with a powerful uppercut!

Krampus rises and approaches from the opposite direction.

For one brief moment, the three monsters exchange glances.

There is no friendship between them.

But all three recognize the same immediate threat.

Yeti.

The Alpha Beast is surrounded!

The Master of the Night catches Yeti around the head and drives him down with a devastating IMPA LER slingshot brainbuster!

Yeti crashes heavily onto the canvas!

But the Alpha Beast immediately begins struggling upright.

Seeing three opponents advancing, he forces himself between the ropes and begins climbing the steel mesh from inside the enclosure!

The crowd rises as Yeti climbs toward the roof!

Infernus Rex follows!

Then Krampus!

And finally, the Master of the Night!

Using the cage's upper framework, the monsters force their way onto the reinforced roof!

The audience erupts as the battle moves high above the ring!

Johnny Michaels: "OH MY GOODNESS! THEY'RE GOING TO THE TOP OF THE CELL! ALL FOUR COMPETITORS ARE CLIMBING ABOVE THE RING! THIS IS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS! THERE'S NOTHING BETWEEN THEM AND A TERRIBLE FALL EXCEPT THAT STEEL ROOF!"

Eddie Ellington: "SOMEBODY STOP THEM! ON SECOND THOUGHT, DON'T STOP THEM! THIS IS MAGNIFICENT! BUT LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THOSE MONSTERS! THAT ROOF WASN'T DESIGNED FOR THIS KIND OF PUNISHMENT!"

On the roof, Yeti catches Infernus Rex and rams his head violently into the steel support frame!

The Infernal monster recoils before retaliating with an enormous CLOTHESLINE ON TOP OF THE CELL!

Yeti crashes backward onto the roof!

The Master of the Night catches him with another punishing strike.

Then Krampus seizes the opportunity!

He grabs Yeti around the upper body and drags him toward a section of the roof already weakened by the tremendous impacts.

Krampus lifts the enormous Alpha Beast!

AND SLAMS HIM DOWN!

CRAAAAASH!

THE ROOF PANEL COLLAPSES!

YETI CRASHES THROUGH THE TOP OF THE CELL AND DOWN INTO THE RING!

THE NORTH POLE ARENA ERUPTS!

Johnny Michaels: "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! KRAMPUS JUST SLAMMED YETI THROUGH THE ROOF OF THE CELL! THE ALPHA BEAST HAS FALLEN ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE RING! THIS IS ABSOLUTE DESTRUCTION!"

Eddie Ellington: "I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SEEING! THE ROOF GAVE WAY! YETI JUST WENT THROUGH THE TOP! HE'S AN ENORMOUS MONSTER, JOHNNY! AND KRAMPUS JUST DROPPED HIM LIKE A BOULDER!"

The Master and Infernus scramble away from the damaged roof section as Yeti lies stunned on the canvas below.

Krampus looks down through the opening and releases a triumphant roar.

Minute 7

The three remaining monsters descend through the damaged section of the cage roof, returning toward the ring as Yeti struggles to recover from the enormous fall.

The Master of the Night reaches the canvas first.

He catches Yeti with a crushing EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!

The Alpha Beast staggers backward!

Krampus immediately approaches, slipping behind Yeti and trapping his arms in the vicious EVIL EMBRACE cross-arm choke!

The horned monster pulls backward, attempting to force Yeti to the canvas.

Infernus Rex remains near the ropes, recovering from the punishment sustained on the cage roof.

But Yeti refuses to surrender!

With an enormous roar, he forces his body forward, drives Krampus backward, and breaks the choke!

As the horned monster falls toward the canvas, Yeti raises one massive boot!

FURRY FOOT STOMP!

The Alpha Beast drives his enormous foot directly into Krampus's face!

The crowd erupts!

Johnny Michaels: "EUROPEAN UPPERCUT FROM THE MASTER! EVIL EMBRACE FROM KRAMPUS! BUT LOOK AT YETI! HE BREAKS FREE AND STOMPS KRAMPUS RIGHT IN THE FACE! AFTER FALLING THROUGH THE ROOF OF THE CELL, THE ALPHA BEAST IS STILL FIGHTING!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S WHY HE'S THE ALPHA! THAT'S WHY HE BEAT BIGFOOT! You can throw him through a cage, you can try to strangle him, and he STILL gets up and stomps somebody in the face! And I have to admit, seeing Krampus get stomped is improving my evening considerably!"

Yeti rises slowly, shaking his head as the three-on-one assault finally breaks apart.

Minute 8

Krampus rolls toward the ropes, furious after the Furry Foot Stomp.

Infernus Rex approaches from the opposite direction.

The two enemies collide in another violent exchange!

Krampus catches Infernus with a hard punch.

Another follows!

Then a sharp kick to the midsection!

HOLIDAY HAVOC!

The horned monster unleashes a relentless combination of punches and kicks, driving Infernus Rex backward toward the ropes!

Infernus attempts to cover up, but Krampus continues the assault with furious determination.

A final crushing strike sends the Infernal monster staggering toward the corner!

Johnny Michaels: "HOLIDAY HAVOC! KRAMPUS IS UNLEASHING A DEVASTATING COMBINATION ON INFERNUS REX! AND THERE'S SO MUCH HISTORY BETWEEN THESE TWO! The rivalry between the Demonic Legion and Infernal Legion has been one of the most bitter conflicts in NPCW!"

Eddie Ellington: "And there he goes again! Krampus throwing punches and kicks like a man who's missed his anger-management appointment! I'll give him credit for the aggression, but he'd better be careful! Infernus Rex is not somebody you want to make angry inside a steel cage!"

Krampus releases another furious roar as Infernus steadies himself against the turnbuckles.

Minute 9

Infernus Rex advances toward Krampus, but Yeti suddenly steps between them.

The Alpha Beast catches Infernus with a powerful forearm!

Krampus moves forward to continue the attack.

The Master of the Night rises nearby.

And once again, three monsters recognize an opportunity to eliminate one rival.

Yeti drives Infernus down with an enormous ICY HAMMER DROP elbow!

Krampus immediately catches the Infernal monster around the upper body and locks in the EVIL EMBRACE!

As Infernus struggles against the choke, the Master of the Night charges forward!

VAMPIRE KNEELIFT!

The crushing knee catches Infernus across the upper body!

But the Infernal monster refuses to collapse!

He forces his way out of the choke, pivots sharply, and drives a devastating HELLGATE LARIAT into Krampus!

THE HORNED MONSTER CRASHES TO THE MAT!

Johnny Michaels: "THREE-ON-ONE AGAIN! THIS TIME INFERNUS REX IS THE TARGET! ICY HAMMER DROP FROM YETI! EVIL EMBRACE FROM KRAMPUS! VAMPIRE KNEELIFT FROM THE MASTER! BUT INFERNUS FIGHTS BACK WITH THE HELLGATE LARIAT!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S THE THING ABOUT THESE FOUR, JOHNNY! Nobody trusts anybody! They'll team up for thirty seconds if it gives them an advantage, and then they'll turn around and knock each other's teeth out! And look at Infernus Rex! THREE monsters couldn't keep him down!"

The temporary alliance dissolves as the competitors separate, each struggling to recover.

Minute 10

The Master of the Night catches Krampus attempting to rise near the ropes.

He drives a sharp forearm into the horned monster's upper body before securing a grip around his waist.

With a powerful twist, the Master lifts Krampus across his knee!

BLOODLINE BACKBREAKER!

Krampus cries out as his lower back crashes across the Master's extended knee!

At ringside, outside the cell, Count Vlad begins shouting toward the competitors.

He moves close to the steel, pounding against the mesh and drawing the Master's attention toward him.

For a brief moment, the vampire turns toward the disturbance.

Count Vlad smiles, having achieved his purpose.

Inside the ring, the other monsters begin recovering while the Master has lost valuable time.

Johnny Michaels: "BLOODLINE BACKBREAKER FROM THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT! WHAT A DEVASTATING MANEUVER! But look at Count Vlad outside the cage! He's attempting to create another distraction! And in a Fatal Four-Way, taking your eyes off the other competitors for even a moment can be disastrous!"

Eddie Ellington: "Well, I can't blame Count Vlad for trying to help his client! And I certainly can't blame the Master for wanting to finish Krampus! Frankly, I think everybody in this match would be better off if they got rid of that horned troublemaker first!"

The Master turns back toward the ring, only to discover that Yeti has begun advancing toward him.

Minute 11

Yeti charges across the canvas, raising one enormous arm!

FRIGID BLAST!

The Alpha Beast attempts his devastating lariat!

But the Master of the Night reacts with remarkable speed!

He ducks beneath the approaching arm and slips behind Yeti!

In one fluid movement, the Master wraps his arm around the Alpha Beast's neck!

BLOOD DRAIN SLEEPER!

The vampire tightens the choke, pulling backward with all his strength!

Yeti staggers toward the center of the ring, attempting to pry the arm away from his throat!

But the Master maintains the hold!

The referee moves closer, checking whether the Alpha Beast wishes to submit.

Yeti shakes his head violently!

HE REFUSES!

Johnny Michaels: "BLOOD DRAIN SLEEPER! THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT HAS THE HOLD LOCKED IN! WHAT A COUNTER TO THE FRIGID BLAST! YETI IS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE! THAT CHOKE IS CUTTING OFF HIS AIR SUPPLY!"

Eddie Ellington: "NOW THAT'S INTELLIGENCE! Yeti came charging in like an avalanche, and the Master simply stepped aside and caught him! This could finish the match, Johnny! You can't be the Alpha if you're unconscious!"

Yeti lowers his center of gravity, plants his enormous feet, and forces himself toward the ropes.

He drives backward, crushing the Master against the turnbuckles!

The grip loosens!

With an enormous roar, Yeti breaks free!

Johnny Michaels: "AND YETI ESCAPES! WHAT INCREDIBLE STRENGTH! THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT HAD THAT SLEEPER LOCKED IN, BUT THE ALPHA BEAST REFUSED TO SUBMIT!"

Eddie Ellington: "I'll give him credit! That was a tremendous escape! These monsters simply refuse to quit!"

Minute 12

The Master of the Night rolls toward the ropes, attempting to recover from the forceful escape.

Krampus rises and notices his opportunity.

The horned monster charges forward, driving the Master through the ropes toward the steel wall!

The vampire attempts to retreat, but Krampus follows.

The two begin climbing the inner cage wall toward the damaged upper framework!

The crowd rises as the confrontation returns to the top of the cell!

Both monsters force themselves onto a solid section of the reinforced roof, keeping clear of the opening created earlier.

Krampus advances with a murderous expression.

The Master attempts to strike first, but Krampus catches him with a heavy forearm.

Then the horned monster charges!

CLOTHESLINE ON TOP OF THE CELL!

Krampus drives his enormous arm across the Master's upper body, sending the vampire crashing onto the reinforced roof!

The metal shudders beneath them!

Johnny Michaels: "THEY'RE BACK ON TOP OF THE CELL! AND KRAMPUS JUST DELIVERED AN ENORMOUS CLOTHESLINE TO THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT! THIS IS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS! WE'VE ALREADY SEEN ONE SECTION OF THAT ROOF COLLAPSE!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, COME ON! NOT AGAIN! Krampus is going to bring the entire structure down! I don't care how much punishment that roof can withstand! Four monsters have been climbing around up there all night!"

The Master rolls away from the edge of the weakened roof section as Krampus rises above him.

Below, Infernus Rex watches the confrontation with renewed interest.

Minute 13

The Master of the Night struggles to escape Krampus, retreating toward the damaged roof opening.

He lowers himself through the opening and drops back toward the ring, landing awkwardly near the ropes.

Infernus Rex is already waiting!

The Infernal monster charges across the canvas as the Master attempts to regain his footing!

BURNING HAMMER!

The devastating running forearm smash crashes directly into the Master's upper body!

The vampire is driven backward and collapses onto the canvas!

Infernus rises with an enormous roar, pounding both fists against his chest.

Johnny Michaels: "BURNING HAMMER! INFERNUS REX CAUGHT THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT WITH THAT DEVASTATING RUNNING FOREARM! THE MASTER HAD JUST ESCAPED FROM THE TOP OF THE CELL, AND NOW HE'S BEEN DRIVEN INTO THE MAT AGAIN!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS IN A FATAL FOUR-WAY! You escape one monster, and another one's standing there waiting for you! Beautiful timing from Infernus Rex! And look at the power behind that forearm! The Master might be immortal, but I guarantee he felt THAT!"

Infernus turns toward the recovering Krampus, who has begun descending from the damaged roof.

The two enemies immediately lock eyes.

Minute 14

Krampus returns to the ring and charges directly toward Infernus Rex!

The Infernal monster meets him with a heavy forearm!

Krampus answers with a vicious kick to the midsection.

He takes one step backward.

SHADOW STRIKE!

The superkick connects across Infernus's jaw!

The enormous monster staggers.

But before Krampus can continue, Infernus suddenly catches him around the head!

He hooks both arms and drives forward!

FUTURE SHOCK DDT!

Krampus crashes headfirst into the canvas!

The audience erupts!

Johnny Michaels: "SHADOW STRIKE FROM KRAMPUS! BUT INFERNUS REX COUNTERS WITH THE FUTURE SHOCK DDT! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXCHANGE! THE DEMONIC LEGION AND INFERNAL LEGION ARE TEARING EACH OTHER APART INSIDE THIS CELL!"

Eddie Ellington: "THERE YOU GO! THAT'S THE WAY, INFERNUS! Krampus thought another superkick was going to finish him, and instead he just had his head planted into the canvas! I LOVE IT!"

Infernus rises and releases another roar as Krampus rolls toward the ropes.

But behind him, the enormous silhouette of Yeti begins moving.

Minute 15

Yeti advances toward Infernus Rex, his massive shoulders rising and falling with every breath.

The Alpha Beast catches Infernus with a tremendous forearm!

The Infernal monster attempts to retaliate, but Yeti forces him backward.

He secures a powerful grip around his opponent's torso.

Infernus tries to defend, but Yeti drives forward with an enormous burst of strength!

ARCTIC BLAST!

The crushing power smash drives Infernus Rex violently into the canvas!

The ring shakes!

Yeti rises and pounds his chest, releasing a thunderous roar.

Johnny Michaels: "ARCTIC BLAST! YETI JUST DROVE INFERNUS REX INTO THE CANVAS! WHAT A TREMENDOUS DISPLAY OF POWER! THE ALPHA BEAST HAS ALREADY SURVIVED A FALL THROUGH THE ROOF OF THE CELL, AND NOW HE'S DELIVERING ONE OF HIS MOST DEVASTATING MANEUVERS!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND THAT'S WHY I LIKE YETI! You can throw him through steel, you can choke him, you can kick him, but you can't stop him! He's proving exactly why he calls himself the Alpha Beast!"

Yeti turns toward the crowd as Infernus rolls toward the ropes, attempting to escape the Alpha Beast's immediate reach.

Minute 16

Krampus suddenly charges toward Infernus Rex, determined to resume their brutal rivalry.

He catches the Infernal monster near the ropes and forces him through them toward the steel enclosure.

Infernus attempts to fight back, swinging an enormous forearm.

Krampus ducks beneath the strike and drives him backward toward the cage wall!

He climbs onto the steel ring steps, using the elevation to launch himself forward!

KRAMPUS LEAPS FROM THE RING STEPS!

HE CRASHES INTO INFERNUS REX, DRIVING HIM VIOLENTLY AGAINST THE STEEL CAGE!

The mesh rattles under the impact!

Both monsters stagger backward!

But Infernus somehow maintains his balance!

He pivots with an enormous roar!

HELLGATE LARIAT!

The discus lariat catches Krampus across the upper body and sends him crashing onto the floor!

Johnny Michaels: "KRAMPUS JUST LAUNCHED HIMSELF OFF THE RING STEPS AND DROVE INFERNUS REX INTO THE CAGE! BUT INFERNUS ANSWERS WITH THE HELLGATE LARIAT! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXCHANGE! THESE TWO ARE DESTROYING EACH OTHER!"

Eddie Ellington: "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET, KRAMPUS! You come flying off the ring steps like some kind of deranged holiday decoration, and Infernus Rex knocks you into next week! Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!"

Krampus lies near the steel wall, clutching his upper body.

Infernus leans against the cage, breathing heavily as the damage from the encounter becomes evident.

Minute 17

Krampus struggles to regain his footing between the ring apron and the cage wall.

Yeti approaches from one direction.

Infernus Rex moves from the other.

And the Master of the Night rises near the corner.

For a moment, all three competitors turn toward the horned monster.

Krampus suddenly realizes he is surrounded.

The three monsters advance together!

Yeti climbs onto the ring steps and launches his enormous body forward!

HE DRIVES KRAMPUS INTO THE STEEL CAGE!

Infernus Rex immediately follows, diving between the ropes and crashing into the horned monster!

KRAMPUS IS DRIVEN AGAINST THE STEEL AGAIN!

The audience erupts!

The Master of the Night seizes the battered monster as he staggers toward the ring.

BLOODLINE BACKBREAKER!

Krampus crashes across the vampire's knee!

But even after that assault, Krampus refuses to remain down!

He catches Infernus from behind, secures a waistlock, and drives him backward with a vicious SINISTER SUPLEX!

The German suplex sends the Infernal monster crashing onto the canvas!

Johnny Michaels: "THREE-ON-ONE! YETI FROM THE RING STEPS! INFERNUS REX THROUGH THE ROPES! BLOODLINE BACKBREAKER FROM THE MASTER! BUT KRAMPUS SOMEHOW ANSWERS WITH THE SINISTER SUPLEX! WHAT INCREDIBLE RESILIENCE!"

Eddie Ellington: "I DON'T BELIEVE IT! Three monsters hit him with everything they had, and the miserable horned brute STILL manages to throw somebody! I don't like Krampus, Johnny, but I'll give him this much. He's practically impossible to keep down!"

Krampus rises with a defiant roar as the other three competitors struggle to recover.

Minute 18

The confrontation continues near the ropes as the three monsters attempt to overwhelm Krampus once again.

Yeti steps forward, releasing an enormous ABOMINABLE GROWL that echoes throughout the arena!

The threatening roar momentarily halts Krampus's advance.

Infernus Rex uses the hesitation to catch the horned monster around the waist!

NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!

The Infernal monster launches Krampus backward onto the canvas!

The Master of the Night immediately follows with a devastating VAMPIRE KNEELIFT!

Krampus staggers from the impact!

But the horned monster suddenly catches the Master around the upper body!

He forces his opponent into position!

DEMONIC DRIVER!

THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER CONNECTS!

The Master of the Night crashes headfirst toward the canvas!

Johnny Michaels: "NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX FROM INFERNUS REX! VAMPIRE KNEELIFT FROM THE MASTER! BUT KRAMPUS HAS FINALLY CONNECTED WITH THE DEMONIC DRIVER! WHAT A TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT MAY BE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, THAT WAS UGLY! I'll give Krampus credit for the maneuver, but I don't have to like it! The Master just got driven into the canvas! And this is getting ridiculous! Everybody's hitting everybody with their biggest moves, and nobody's staying down!"

Krampus attempts to rise, but Yeti charges toward him, forcing the horned monster away from the fallen Master.

Minute 19

Infernus Rex rises near the ropes, still recovering from the German suplex and the relentless punishment of the previous exchanges.

Yeti turns toward him with an enormous roar.

Krampus rises from the canvas.

The Master of the Night struggles upright nearby.

And once again, the three competitors converge upon a common target.

Infernus Rex.

Yeti attacks first!

ARCTIC BLAST!

The crushing power smash drives the Infernal monster toward the canvas!

Krampus immediately follows with a devastating SHADOW STRIKE!

The superkick catches Infernus across the jaw!

And before he can recover, the Master of the Night slips behind him!

BLOOD DRAIN SLEEPER!

The vampire locks his arms around the Infernal monster's neck!

Infernus struggles desperately, attempting to break free!

But the combined punishment has taken a tremendous toll.

Johnny Michaels: "ARCTIC BLAST FROM YETI! SHADOW STRIKE FROM KRAMPUS! AND THE MASTER HAS LOCKED IN THE BLOOD DRAIN SLEEPER! INFERNUS REX IS IN TREMENDOUS TROUBLE! ALL THREE COMPETITORS HAVE TARGETED HIM!"

Eddie Ellington: "WELL, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU'RE THE BIGGEST THREAT! Everybody wants to get rid of Infernus Rex! But look at him! He's still fighting! Three monsters are trying to finish him, and he refuses to surrender!"

Infernus finally manages to drive backward toward the ropes, forcing the Master to loosen the hold.

The Infernal monster breaks free and collapses to one knee.

The temporary alliance dissolves immediately.

Minute 20

Yeti advances toward the recovering Infernus Rex, determined to continue his assault.

Infernus rises and drives a heavy forearm into the Alpha Beast!

Yeti answers with an enormous strike of his own!

The two monsters exchange blows in the center of the ring!

Then Infernus pivots sharply!

HELLGATE LARIAT!

The discus lariat catches Yeti across the upper body!

The Alpha Beast staggers.

But he refuses to fall!

Instead, Yeti steps forward and wraps both enormous arms around Infernus Rex!

ICY EMBRACE!

The crushing bearhug lifts the Infernal monster partially off the canvas!

Infernus struggles desperately as Yeti tightens the hold!

Referee 'Honest' Abe approaches, checking whether the trapped monster wishes to submit.

Infernus releases an enormous roar!

HE REFUSES TO QUIT!

Johnny Michaels: "HELLGATE LARIAT FROM INFERNUS REX! BUT YETI HAS LOCKED IN THE ICY EMBRACE! WHAT AN ENORMOUS BEARHUG! HE'S CRUSHING THE INFERNAL MONSTER'S RIBS! BUT INFERNUS REFUSES TO SUBMIT!"

Eddie Ellington: "WHAT A TEST OF STRENGTH! Two absolute monsters! Neither one willing to admit the other is stronger! I LOVE THIS! Yeti is squeezing him like a giant ice machine, and Infernus is refusing to give up! That's championship determination!"

Infernus finally drives a series of heavy forearms into Yeti's head, forcing the Alpha Beast to loosen his grip.

The two monsters separate, exhausted but still standing.

Minute 21

The Master of the Night rises near the corner, still visibly shaken from the Demonic Driver and the sustained punishment he has absorbed throughout the contest.

Krampus approaches with an unmistakably threatening expression.

The horned monster attempts to seize the vampire around the upper body.

But at ringside, outside the steel structure, Count Vlad begins creating another disturbance!

He pounds against the cage wall and begins shouting toward Krampus, deliberately reminding him of the bitter rivalry between their factions.

Krampus turns his head toward the Count.

For one brief moment, his attention leaves the Master.

And the vampire immediately strikes!

EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!

The crushing blow catches Krampus beneath the jaw!

The horned monster staggers backward!

Johnny Michaels: "EUROPEAN UPPERCUT FROM THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT! BUT ONCE AGAIN, COUNT VLAD HAS PLAYED A ROLE IN CREATING A DISTRACTION! Krampus took his eyes off the Master for just a moment, and he paid for it!"

Eddie Ellington: "WELL, THAT'S HIS OWN FAULT! You can't let somebody standing outside the cage distract you when you're fighting three monsters! Besides, I can't blame Count Vlad for wanting to remind Krampus exactly what he thinks of him! The man has excellent taste!"

The Master steps backward, surveying the ring as his opponents struggle to recover.

Yeti rises near the opposite corner.

Infernus Rex leans against the ropes, breathing heavily.

And Krampus slowly turns back toward the center of the ring.

The entire contest appears to be approaching its breaking point.

Minute 22

The Master of the Night and Yeti begin circling one another near the center of the ring.

Both monsters are exhausted.

Both have survived extraordinary punishment.

And both understand that one decisive maneuver could end the contest.

On the opposite side of the ring, Krampus and Infernus Rex are locked in another furious confrontation near the corner.

Krampus drives a heavy forearm into the Infernal monster's upper body!

Infernus answers with a crushing strike of his own!

The two monsters exchange blows, barely aware of the confrontation developing across the ring.

And then...

Something moves beneath the ring apron.

At first, it appears to be nothing more than a loose section of fabric.

Then a small, powerful hand emerges from beneath the ring.

Followed by an enormous braided copper-red beard.

And finally...

THE UNMISTAKABLE FACE OF TORVALD STONEHELM!

THE MOUNTAIN KING HAS BEEN HIDING UNDER THE RING!

Johnny Michaels: "WAIT A MINUTE! WAIT JUST A MINUTE! WHAT IN THE WORLD?! IS THAT... IS THAT TORVALD STONEHELM?! WHAT IS HE DOING UNDER THE RING?!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! NOT HIM AGAIN! HAS THAT LITTLE LUNATIC BEEN HIDING UNDER THERE THIS ENTIRE TIME?! HOW DID HE EVEN GET INSIDE THE CELL?!"

Torvald slowly crawls out from beneath the ring apron, looking cautiously in both directions.

His enormous braided beard is slightly disheveled.

His copper-red hair is sticking out in several directions.

But somehow...

HE STILL HAS HIS TANKARD OF ALE!

The crowd erupts into laughter and cheers as the Mountain King cautiously rises onto his feet.

Torvald peers around the corner of the ring apron.

Then he looks up at the enormous steel structure surrounding him.

He scratches his beard.

Torvald Stonehelm: "RIGHT... NOW HOW IN THE BLOODY HELL AM I SUPPOSED T' GET OUTTA THIS THING?"

Inside the ring, Krampus and Infernus Rex are still exchanging heavy blows near the corner.

Torvald cautiously moves along the narrow space between the ring apron and the cage wall.

He is almost directly beneath the two fighting monsters when Infernus Rex suddenly glances downward.

The Infernal monster freezes.

His fiery eyes widen.

Infernus Rex: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

Torvald looks up.

He sees the enormous Infernal monster staring directly at him.

For one extraordinary moment, the Mountain King does not move.

Then his eyes widen in absolute horror.

Torvald Stonehelm: "UH-OH."

Infernus Rex reaches through the ropes, extending one enormous hand toward the dwarf!

But Torvald reacts immediately!

He raises his beloved tankard!

AND SWINGS!

CLAAAAAAAAANG!

THE TANKARD CRASHES INTO INFERNUS REX'S HEAD!

The enormous monster staggers backward into the corner!

The North Pole Arena EXPLODES!

Johnny Michaels: "OH MY GOODNESS! TORVALD STONEHELM HAS JUST STRUCK INFERNUS REX WITH HIS TANKARD! IN THE MIDDLE OF HELL IN A CELL! I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SEEING!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, THAT'S IT! THAT LITTLE MENACE HAS COMPLETELY LOST HIS MIND! HE'S BEEN RUNNING FROM THE INFERNAL LEGION ALL NIGHT, AND NOW HE'S HIT INFERNUS REX WITH THE SAME BLOODY TANKARD! DOES HE HAVE A DEATH WISH?!"

Torvald stares at the enormous Infernal monster, who is slumped against the turnbuckles.

He looks at his tankard.

Then back at Infernus.

Torvald Stonehelm: "SORRY, BIG FELLA! NUTTIN' PERSONAL!"

The Mountain King immediately ducks beneath the ring apron again.

For a brief moment, he disappears from sight.

Then he emerges holding an enormous pair of wire cutters!

Johnny Michaels: "NOW WHAT'S HE GOT?! WIRE CUTTERS?! HE'S GOT WIRE CUTTERS!"

Eddie Ellington: "OF COURSE HE DOES! WHY WOULDN'T HE?! He's been under the ring for who knows how long! Apparently he's been planning a home improvement project!"

Torvald scurries toward the steel cage wall.

He positions the cutters against the mesh near the base of the enclosure.

SNIP!

SNIP!

SNIP!

One by one, the steel links begin separating!

The Mountain King uses his enormous forearm strength to pull apart the damaged section, creating a narrow opening near the bottom of the cage wall.

He drops onto his stomach and begins squeezing through!

Torvald Stonehelm: "COME ON, YE BLOODY THING! THE MOUNTAIN KING'S GOT PLACES T' BE!"

With one final enormous shove, Torvald forces himself through the opening!

HE'S OUTSIDE THE CELL!

The crowd erupts as he scrambles to his feet, retrieves his tankard, and begins running toward the entrance aisle!

Johnny Michaels: "HE'S CUT HIS WAY OUT OF THE CELL! TORVALD STONEHELM HAS ESCAPED! HE'S RUNNING UP THE AISLE! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY EXTRAORDINARY!"

Eddie Ellington: "SOMEBODY STOP THAT MAN! HE'S JUST PUT A HOLE IN HELL IN A CELL! I DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO LAUGH OR CALL THE POLICE! AND LOOK AT HIM RUN! HE'S STILL GOT THE ALE!"

Torvald disappears around the entrance stage, leaving behind a badly damaged section of cage wall and one extremely angry Infernus Rex.

Inside the ring, Krampus watches the Infernal monster struggling to regain his footing.

He looks toward the opening in the cage.

Then back toward Infernus.

And the horned monster begins chuckling.

It is a low, sinister laugh.

One that suggests he is finding the entire situation enormously entertaining.

But then...

Krampus turns his head toward the opposite side of the ring.

AND SEES YETI!

The Alpha Beast has caught the Master of the Night near the center of the ring!

The vampire attempts to fight free, throwing a desperate forearm toward the enormous monster.

But Yeti absorbs the strike!

He catches the Master around the upper body!

Then he forces his opponent into position!

Johnny Michaels: "WAIT A MINUTE! LOOK AT YETI! HE'S GOT THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT! HE'S GOT HIM IN POSITION!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH MY GOODNESS! THE MASTER'S IN TROUBLE! YETI HAS HIM! HE'S GOT HIM!"

Yeti lifts the vampire upside down!

The Master struggles desperately, attempting to escape the enormous grip!

But the Alpha Beast locks his arms firmly around his opponent.

He pauses for one terrifying moment.

Then drops!

GLACIAL DRIVER!

THE DEVASTATING TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER CONNECTS!

THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT CRASHES INTO THE CANVAS!

THE NORTH POLE ARENA ERUPTS!

Yeti immediately turns the stunned vampire onto his back!

HE HOOKS THE LEG!

Johnny Michaels: "GLACIAL DRIVER! GLACIAL DRIVER FROM YETI! THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT IS DOWN! THE ALPHA BEAST HAS THE COVER! THIS COULD BE IT! THIS COULD DECIDE THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY!"

Eddie Ellington: "COUNT HIM! COUNT HIM, ABE! YETI HAS GOT HIM! THE ALPHA BEAST HAS GOT HIM!"

Referee 'Honest' Abe drops into position!

ONE!

Krampus turns toward the cover!

Infernus Rex remains staggered in the corner!

TWO!

The Master of the Night attempts to raise one shoulder!

But he cannot escape!

THREE!

DING! DING! DING!

THE NORTH POLE ARENA EXPLODES!

YETI HAS WON!

THE ALPHA BEAST HAS SURVIVED HELL IN A CELL!

AND HE HAS EARNED A FUTURE OPPORTUNITY TO CHALLENGE FOR THE NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Johnny Michaels: "HE'S DONE IT! YETI HAS DONE IT! THE ALPHA BEAST HAS DEFEATED THE MASTER OF THE NIGHT, INFERNUS REX, AND KRAMPUS! TWENTY-TWO MINUTES OF INCREDIBLE DESTRUCTION, AND IT'S THE GLACIAL DRIVER THAT GETS THE VICTORY! WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY MAIN EVENT!"

Eddie Ellington: "I DON'T BELIEVE IT! WHAT A MATCH! WHAT A PERFORMANCE! Yeti was thrown through the roof of the cell! He survived submission holds, lariats, magical distractions, and three monsters trying to destroy him! AND HE STILL WON! That's an ALPHA, Johnny! THAT'S AN ALPHA!"

Johnny Michaels: "And what an extraordinary conclusion! Torvald Stonehelm somehow emerged from beneath the ring, struck Infernus Rex with his tankard, and literally cut his way out of the cell! That moment of chaos left the Infernal monster stunned, and Yeti capitalized on the opening across the ring to deliver the Glacial Driver to the Master of the Night!"

Eddie Ellington: "And I don't think Count Vlad is going to be particularly pleased when he finds out what happened! Torvald has embarrassed the Infernal Legion AGAIN! But you can't take anything away from Yeti! He hit the decisive move, he made the cover, and he got the three-count!"

Johnny Michaels: "And that means the Alpha Beast has earned himself a future Universal Championship opportunity! Just six days after defeating Bigfoot in the Arctic Wastes at Fault Line, Yeti has added another extraordinary victory to his record! What an incredible week for the leader of the Primal Expanse!"

Celeste Orion raises her microphone from ringside as the arena continues roaring.

Celeste Orion: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! YOUR WINNER OF THE HALLOWEEN HORROR FATAL FOUR-WAY HELL IN A CELL MATCH... AND THE MAN WHO HAS EARNED A FUTURE OPPORTUNITY TO CHALLENGE FOR THE NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP..."

She pauses as the audience rises once again.

Celeste Orion: "THE ALPHA BEAST... YETI!"

YETI DEFEATS MASTER OF THE NIGHT, INFERNUS REX, AND KRAMPUS VIA PINFALL ON MASTER OF THE NIGHT FOLLOWING THE GLACIAL DRIVER IN THE 22ND MINUTE. YETI EARNS A FUTURE NPCW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH.

The bell has sounded, but the extraordinary atmosphere inside the North Pole Arena shows no signs of subsiding.

Twenty-two minutes of destruction have left the Hell in a Cell structure battered, its roof partially collapsed and a section of its steel wall cut open by the extraordinary escape of Torvald Stonehelm.

Inside the ring, Yeti stands triumphantly over the fallen Master of the Night.

The enormous Alpha Beast throws his head backward and releases a thunderous roar, pounding both fists against his chest as thousands of fans respond.

Nearby, Krampus pulls himself upright against the ropes. His expression remains savage, but as he looks toward Yeti, a small, unsettling smile crosses his face.

Yeti notices.

For a brief moment, the two monsters exchange a look of grim satisfaction.

No friendship has been formed.

No alliance has been declared.

But both appear to appreciate the fact that Infernus Rex has been denied victory.

Yeti turns toward the recovering Master of the Night, towering over the fallen vampire.

Yeti: "THE NORTH IS OURS, COUNT!"

He throws his head back and releases another enormous roar.

Outside the enclosure, Count Daculescu watches with undisguised displeasure as his defeated client slowly begins to stir.

Johnny Michaels: "What an extraordinary performance from Yeti! The Alpha Beast has survived one of the most destructive matches we've witnessed on Polar Power, and now he has earned himself a future opportunity to challenge for the NPCW Universal Championship! What an incredible way to conclude our Halloween Horror main event!"

Eddie Ellington: "I've got to give him all the credit in the world, Johnny! He went through the ROOF of that cell! He battled three of the most dangerous monsters in this company! And somehow, he found the strength to deliver that Glacial Driver and win the match! Yeti has every reason to call himself the Alpha Beast tonight!"

Above the ring, the enormous machinery begins to operate.

The sound of heavy chains grinding through their mechanisms echoes throughout the building.

Slowly, the damaged HELL IN A CELL structure begins rising toward the arena ceiling.

As the steel walls lift away from the ring, ringside officials cautiously approach, preparing to help the exhausted competitors leave the enclosure.

Yeti remains in the center of the ring, celebrating his victory.

Krampus begins making his way toward the ropes.

Referee 'Honest' Abe checks on the Master of the Night, who is still recovering from the devastating tombstone piledriver.

And in the opposite corner...

INFERNUS REX is getting back to his feet.

The enormous Infernal monster stands slowly, one hand pressed against the side of his head where Torvald Stonehelm's tankard struck him during the closing moments of the contest.

His expression is murderous.

Count Vlad, waiting beyond the rising cage, gestures urgently toward his client.

Infernus growls angrily and steps through the ropes, beginning his departure from the ring.

Johnny Michaels: "And there is Infernus Rex, finally making his way out of the ring. I can only imagine how furious he must be after what happened with Torvald Stonehelm! That tankard shot completely disrupted the final moments of the contest!"

Eddie Ellington: "FURIOUS?! JOHNNY, HE LOOKS READY TO TEAR THE BUILDING APART! And can you blame him? He was fighting for a Universal Championship opportunity, and that little bearded lunatic came crawling out from under the ring and smashed him over the head with a tankard! Count Vlad is going to have a LOT to say about that!"

Infernus Rex reaches the arena floor as the cell rises high enough to allow the competitors to leave.

Count Vlad moves toward him, visibly attempting to calm his monstrous client.

Infernus brushes past the Count, glaring toward the entrance stage.

Then...

The arena lights suddenly change.

A powerful guitar riff erupts through the North Pole Arena!

THE CROWD EXPLODES!

JACK LUMBER'S ENTRANCE MUSIC IS PLAYING!

Johnny Michaels: "WAIT A MINUTE! WAIT JUST A MINUTE! I KNOW THAT MUSIC! THAT'S JACK LUMBER'S MUSIC!"

Eddie Ellington: "WHAT?! WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?! JOHNNY, WE'VE ALREADY HAD ONE UNINVITED VISITOR TONIGHT! WHAT IS GOING ON?!"

The giant entrance screen fills with images of towering pine forests, crashing timber, and the unmistakable red-and-black flannel imagery associated with the HCW powerhouse.

And then...

JACK LUMBER STORMS THROUGH THE ENTRANCE CURTAIN!

The powerful HCW competitor charges onto the stage with an expression of absolute fury.

And in his hands...

IS HIS ENORMOUS PIECE OF LUMBER!

Jack raises the heavy length of timber above his head as the crowd responds with deafening cheers!

There is no elaborate entrance.

No theatrical posing.

And certainly no interest in waiting until November twenty-second.

JACK LUMBER IS COMING FOR INFERNUS REX!

Johnny Michaels: "IT'S JACK LUMBER! THE HCW SUPERSTAR IS HERE AT THE NORTH POLE ARENA! AND HE'S GOT THAT PIECE OF LUMBER WITH HIM! REMEMBER, THESE TWO MEN ARE SCHEDULED TO MEET FOR THE CONVERGENT CHAMPIONSHIP INSIDE HELL IN A CELL AT CONVERGENCE NIGHT TWO!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, THIS IS BAD! THIS IS VERY BAD! Infernus Rex has just spent twenty-two minutes fighting three monsters inside that cell, and now Jack Lumber is charging down the aisle carrying enough timber to build a hunting lodge!"

Count Vlad turns toward the entrance stage.

His expression changes instantly.

Count Vlad: "INFERNUS! BEHIND YOU!"

But the warning comes too late!

Jack Lumber storms down the ramp, his enormous piece of timber gripped tightly in both hands!

Infernus Rex turns toward the approaching HCW powerhouse.

He releases a furious roar and takes one threatening step forward!

But Jack does not hesitate!

He plants his feet!

SWINGS THE LUMBER!

CRAAAAAAAAACK!

THE MASSIVE PIECE OF TIMBER CRASHES ACROSS INFERNUS REX'S UPPER BODY!

THE IMPACT IS THUNDEROUS!

The enormous Infernal monster staggers backward!

For one extraordinary moment, Infernus remains upright, his knees buckling beneath him.

Then his eyes roll upward.

AND INFERNUS REX COLLAPSES!

THE MONSTER FALLS FLAT ONTO THE ARENA FLOOR!

HE'S OUT COLD!

THE NORTH POLE ARENA ABSOLUTELY ERUPTS!

Johnny Michaels: "OH MY GOODNESS! JACK LUMBER HAS JUST KNOCKED INFERNUS REX OUT WITH THAT PIECE OF LUMBER! HE HIT HIM WITH EVERYTHING HE HAD! AND THE INFERNAL MONSTER IS DOWN! INFERNUS REX IS DOWN!"

Eddie Ellington: "I DON'T BELIEVE IT! I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SEEING! Infernus Rex JUST SURVIVED HELL IN A CELL! HE'S ALREADY BEEN HIT OVER THE HEAD WITH A TANKARD TONIGHT! AND NOW JACK LUMBER HAS KNOCKED HIM SENSELESS WITH A TREE!"

Count Vlad recoils in absolute disbelief.

For several seconds, the usually composed aristocrat can do nothing but stare at his fallen client.

Then he turns toward Jack Lumber, his face twisted with rage.

Count Vlad: "YOU INSOLENT BRUTE! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE JUST DONE!"

Jack slowly turns toward the Count.

He raises the enormous piece of lumber again.

Vlad immediately takes two steps backward.

The crowd ROARS with laughter and approval!

Jack does not pursue him.

Instead, he looks down at the motionless Infernus Rex.

Then he plants the end of his timber against the arena floor.

His expression remains stern.

He has come to deliver a message.

And that message has been received.

Johnny Michaels: "WHAT A STATEMENT FROM JACK LUMBER! After the destruction Infernus Rex brought to HCW, after the controversy that led to those enormous fines earlier tonight, Jack Lumber has come directly into NPCW territory and delivered a measure of retaliation!"

Eddie Ellington: "WELL, HE PICKED HIS MOMENT PERFECTLY, DIDN'T HE?! Infernus Rex is exhausted, injured, and barely out of Hell in a Cell, and Jack Lumber decides it's time to start swinging timber! But I'll tell you something, Johnny! Infernus Rex is going to remember this! At Convergence, there won't be an exhausted monster walking out of a twenty-two-minute match! There'll be a FRESH Infernus Rex waiting for him inside that cell!"

Jack Lumber slowly raises his piece of timber toward the arena ceiling.

The crowd rises to its feet.

Then he tilts his head backward.

And bellows at the top of his lungs!

Jack Lumber: "TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRR!"

The cry echoes throughout the North Pole Arena!

But suddenly...

AN ANSWERING ROAR COMES FROM HIGH ABOVE THE RING!

Fans in the Balcony: "TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRR!"

The production cameras swing upward toward one of the upper balconies.

And there, standing together along the railing, is an unmistakable group of fans!

Every one of them is wearing a RED-AND-BLACK FLANNEL SHIRT!

Some have their arms raised.

Others are waving their shirts above their heads.

And stretched between several members of the group is a large, makeshift cardboard sign.

The lettering is uneven.

The paint is clearly homemade.

But the message is impossible to miss.

LUMBER LOUNGE FOREVER

The camera zooms in on the sign as the balcony group erupts into another enormous chant!

Fans in the Balcony: "TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRR!"

Down at ringside, Jack Lumber suddenly looks upward.

He sees the flannel shirts.

He sees the sign.

And for the first time since storming into the arena, a broad grin spreads across his face.

He raises his timber toward the balcony in acknowledgment!

The fans respond by lifting their makeshift sign even higher.

The camera catches several members of the group pounding their fists against the balcony railing and chanting in unison.

Johnny Michaels: "WAIT A MINUTE! LOOK UP THERE! LOOK AT THE BALCONY! RED-AND-BLACK FLANNEL SHIRTS! AND THAT SIGN! 'LUMBER LOUNGE FOREVER!' WE'VE GOT MEMBERS OF THE LUMBER LOUNGE RIGHT HERE AT THE NORTH POLE ARENA!"

Eddie Ellington: "OH, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! HE BROUGHT HIS OWN SUPPORTERS?! WHAT IS THIS, A LUMBERJACK CONVENTION?! LOOK AT ALL THAT FLANNEL! JOHNNY, I'VE NEVER SEEN SO MANY RED-AND-BLACK SHIRTS OUTSIDE OF A HARDWARE STORE!"

Johnny Michaels: "WELL, THEY'RE CERTAINLY MAKING THEIR PRESENCE FELT! AND LISTEN TO THIS CROWD! JACK LUMBER HAS JUST DELIVERED ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS OF HALLOWEEN HORROR!"

Jack Lumber steps forward, plants his timber firmly against the floor, and points directly toward the unconscious Infernus Rex.

Then he turns toward the nearest camera.

Jack Lumber: "INFERNUS! YOU WANTED TO BRING DESTRUCTION TO HCW?!"

He raises his timber.

Jack Lumber: "WELL, NOW THE LUMBERJACK'S COME TO YOUR FOREST!"

He takes one deliberate step closer to the camera.

Jack Lumber: "NOVEMBER TWENTY-SECOND! CONVERGENCE! HELL IN A CELL!"

He points the length of timber directly toward the lens.

Jack Lumber: "AND WHEN THAT TREE COMES DOWN..."

He pauses.

Jack Lumber: "THERE AIN'T GONNA BE ANYBODY LEFT TO CATCH IT!"

He raises the timber high above his head!

Jack Lumber: "TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRR!"

The balcony erupts!

Fans in the Balcony: "TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRR!"

The enormous crowd joins the celebration as Jack Lumber stands triumphantly beside the fallen Infernal monster.

At ringside, Count Vlad remains several steps away, furious but unwilling to approach the armed HCW powerhouse.

Officials have begun moving toward Infernus Rex to check his condition.

Above the ring, the damaged Hell in a Cell structure continues its slow ascent toward the rafters.

The camera captures one final sweeping image of the entire scene.

Jack Lumber, standing with his timber raised.

Infernus Rex, motionless on the arena floor.

Count Vlad, glaring helplessly from a safe distance.

And high above them, the red-and-black flannel shirts and the enormous homemade sign.

LUMBER LOUNGE FOREVER

The broadcast returns to Johnny Michaels and Eddie Ellington at the commentary desk.

Johnny Michaels: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WHAT AN EXTRAORDINARY ENDING TO HALLOWEEN HORROR! Yeti has earned himself a future Universal Championship opportunity with an incredible Hell in a Cell victory! Torvald Stonehelm has somehow managed to evade the Infernal Legion once again! And now Jack Lumber has invaded the North Pole Arena and knocked Infernus Rex unconscious with that enormous piece of timber!"

Eddie Ellington: "WHAT A NIGHT, JOHNNY! Monsters falling through cages! Witches battling for control of the Coven! Championship controversy! A dwarf with a tankard! And now a lumberjack who's apparently brought an entire balcony full of flannel-wearing lunatics with him! I need a vacation!"

Johnny Michaels: "And what implications this has for Convergence! On November twenty-second, Jack Lumber and Infernus Rex will meet for the Convergent Championship inside Hell in a Cell at Scrooge's Glacier Plex! If tonight is any indication, that confrontation could be one of the most violent matches of the entire Convergence weekend!"

Eddie Ellington: "And I wouldn't want to be Jack Lumber when Infernus Rex gets another opportunity to put his hands on him! The Infernal monster is going to be furious! Absolutely furious! Jack had better enjoy tonight, because the next time those two meet, I guarantee there won't be any friendly lumberjacks coming to his rescue!"

Johnny Michaels: "Well, ladies and gentlemen, what an unforgettable Halloween Horror Special! We've witnessed extraordinary matches, unforgettable moments, and developments that will reverberate throughout NPCW in the weeks ahead!"

The broadcast displays a final series of images from the evening.

Lilith standing victorious after her Last Woman Standing Match against Crimson Vane, glaring toward HCW's Korbi Kong.

Wilber "Terrorfang" Townsend raising the Northern Lights Championship.

Grizelda standing triumphantly beneath the violet magical crown after claiming leadership of the Coven.

Yeti delivering the Glacial Driver to the Master of the Night.

And finally, Jack Lumber raising his piece of timber as the Lumber Lounge supporters roar from the balcony.

Johnny Michaels: "But the action doesn't stop here! Be sure to join us NEXT WEEK for another incredible edition of NPCW Polar Power, as the road to Convergence continues! For my broadcast partner Eddie Ellington, and our entire NPCW production team, I'm Johnny 'The Mic' Michaels saying thank you for joining us tonight from the North Pole Arena!"

Eddie Ellington: "AND SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT TANKARD-CARRYING DWARF IS OUT OF THE BUILDING BEFORE WE COME BACK NEXT WEEK!"

Johnny laughs as the arena crowd continues chanting in the background.

Johnny Michaels: "GOOD NIGHT, EVERYBODY! WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!"

The final camera shot returns to the balcony, where the homemade LUMBER LOUNGE FOREVER sign remains proudly displayed above a sea of red-and-black flannel shirts.

The Halloween Horror logo fills the screen.

NPCW POLAR POWER

ONLY THE FIGHT. ONLY THE NORTH.

The broadcast fades to black.

15. BEHIND THE CURTAIN INTERLUDE 003

“THE ROAD TO CONVERGENCE”

The broadcast has ended.

The final images of Jack Lumber standing over the unconscious Infernus Rex, with the Lumber Lounge supporters celebrating high above the North Pole Arena, have faded into darkness.

For several seconds, the screen remains completely black.

No commentary.

No entrance music.

No roaring crowd.

Then...

A faint click.

The screen slowly fades back in.

We are no longer inside the arena.

Instead, the camera reveals the elegantly appointed NPCW President's Office.

It is late in the evening.

Beyond the enormous windows, the North Pole is blanketed in darkness, the distant lights of the surrounding complex shimmering against the snow.

Inside, the office is quiet and immaculate.

Framed photographs document important moments in NPCW history. A polished display cabinet contains commemorative championship memorabilia, while a large NPCW corporate insignia occupies the wall behind an impressive executive desk.

On that desk rests a carefully arranged collection of documents, schedules, and event proposals.

One folder stands apart from the others.

Its cover bears the unmistakable insignia of CONVERGENCE 2026.

Seated behind the desk is KRISTINE KRINGLE.

The CEO and President of NPCW has exchanged the noise and spectacle of Halloween Horror for the quieter demands of corporate leadership.

Immaculately dressed in professional executive attire, Kristine sits comfortably in her chair, reviewing several documents while speaking on the telephone.

Her expression is relaxed, but unmistakably purposeful.

Kristine Kringle: "Well, Max, I think it's safe to say we've had a rather eventful October."

She listens to the voice on the other end of the call.

A faint smile appears.

Kristine Kringle: "Oh, I watched. Believe me, I've been paying attention to everything happening over at HCW."

She leans back slightly.

Kristine Kringle: "And I suspect you've been paying equally close attention to us."

She touches a button on her desk phone, switching the conversation to speakerphone.

The unmistakable voice of HCW's MAX MCGUILLICUTTY fills the office.

Max McGuillicutty: "Oh, I've been paying attention, Kristine. Especially tonight. Quite the Halloween celebration you've put together. Monsters, witches, steel cages... and apparently a lumberjack who decided your main event needed a little extra excitement."

Kristine laughs softly.

Kristine Kringle: "Yes, well, that lumberjack happens to be one of YOUR competitors, Max."

Max McGuillicutty: "And that enormous fire-breathing problem he's chasing happens to be one of YOURS."

Kristine smiles.

Kristine Kringle: "Fair point."

She closes the document she has been reviewing and places it neatly beside the Convergence folder.

Kristine Kringle: "But that's actually why I wanted to speak with you tonight."

Her tone becomes more businesslike.

Kristine Kringle: "October's pay-per-views are behind us now. Both companies have finished their major October events. We've settled some rivalries, started a few new ones, and given our audiences plenty to talk about."

She looks toward the Convergence folder.

Kristine Kringle: "But now it's time to shift our attention to something bigger."

She opens the folder.

Inside are preliminary production layouts, promotional concepts, and the familiar branding of the annual interpromotional supercard.

Kristine Kringle: "Convergence."

There is a brief silence on the other end of the line.

Max McGuillicutty: "November twenty-first and twenty-second."

Kristine Kringle: "Exactly. Two nights. Two promotions. And some of the most anticipated confrontations we've ever put together."

She gestures toward the event schedule on her desk.

Kristine Kringle: "November twenty-first, HCW hosts Night One. November twenty-second, NPCW takes over for Night Two at Scrooge's Glacier Plex."

She pauses.

Kristine Kringle: "And with October finished, I think it's time we really start turning up the heat."

Max McGuillicutty: "I couldn't agree more. The fans already know something special is coming. But after tonight, I think our competitors have decided they don't particularly care about waiting until November."

Kristine raises an eyebrow.

Kristine Kringle: "You noticed that too?"

Max McGuillicutty: "Hard to miss. Terrible Herse has apparently taken his disagreement with Van Helsing directly to your building. And Jack Lumber seems to have settled on a fairly unconventional method of introducing himself to Infernus Rex."

Kristine shakes her head with an amused sigh.

Kristine Kringle: "Yes. My security department has already had a very interesting evening."

Max McGuillicutty: "Tell them to send me the bill."

Kristine Kringle: "Don't tempt me, Max."

Both executives laugh.

Then Kristine's expression becomes more thoughtful.

Kristine Kringle: "But seriously, that's exactly what Convergence is supposed to generate. That feeling that our two worlds are colliding. That old rivalries don't respect company boundaries. That new confrontations can begin with one unexpected encounter."

She turns a page in the folder.

Kristine Kringle: "We've got championship opportunities being decided. We've got competitors representing both organizations. We've got people with years of history suddenly standing across the ring from one another again."

She pauses.

Kristine Kringle: "And we've got an audience that deserves something unforgettable."

Max McGuillicutty: "Now that, Kristine, is something we agree on completely."

Kristine nods.

Max McGuillicutty: "We've both spent the year building our rosters, developing our champions, and giving our competitors opportunities to prove themselves. Convergence is where the whole thing comes together."

Kristine Kringle: "Precisely."

She picks up a pen and taps it lightly against the folder.

Kristine Kringle: "But I want to make one thing very clear, Max. This isn't simply about HCW versus NPCW. I want both nights to feel like part of one enormous event. The stories need to matter. The matches need to deliver. And when the weekend is finished, I want fans from both promotions talking about what they witnessed for the rest of the year."

Max McGuillicutty: "That's exactly what I want too. We didn't bring these companies together for a couple of ordinary wrestling cards."

His voice carries a note of growing enthusiasm.

Max McGuillicutty: "We brought them together because when HCW and NPCW share the same stage, the possibilities become a whole lot bigger."

Kristine smiles approvingly.

Kristine Kringle: "Then I think we're on the same page."

She closes the folder gently.

For a moment, the conversation settles into a comfortable silence.

Then a mischievous expression crosses Kristine's face.

Kristine Kringle: "Of course..."

She pauses deliberately.

Max McGuillicutty: "Of course what?"

Kristine Kringle: "There is one little matter we haven't discussed."

Max McGuillicutty: "And what's that?"

Kristine leans forward, smiling.

Kristine Kringle: "Well, Max, Night One belongs to HCW. Night Two belongs to NPCW."

She gives a small shrug.

Kristine Kringle: "I suppose we'll just have to see which of us puts on the better show."

There is a brief silence.

Then Max laughs.

Max McGuillicutty: "OH, SO THAT'S HOW IT IS!"

Kristine laughs with him.

Kristine Kringle: "What? A little friendly competition never hurt anybody."

Max McGuillicutty: "Friendly competition? Kristine, you're talking to the man who's putting together Night One! By the time HCW finishes on November twenty-first, your people are going to need something extraordinary to top it!"

Kristine raises an eyebrow.

Kristine Kringle: "Oh, I wouldn't worry about us."

She gestures toward the NPCW emblem behind her.

Kristine Kringle: "We've got a few monsters, a few legends, and more than a few surprises of our own."

Max McGuillicutty: "Well, then. May the best promotion win."

Kristine Kringle: "Careful, Max. You might regret saying that."

Max McGuillicutty: "We'll find out in November."

Kristine smiles.

Kristine Kringle: "Yes, we will."

She glances down at the Convergence folder one final time.

Kristine Kringle: "All right, Max. We'll coordinate the remaining announcements and promotional schedule this week. Our teams have a lot of work ahead of them, and I want both nights to be everything we've promised."

Max McGuillicutty: "Agreed. It's going to be a tremendous weekend."

Kristine Kringle: "The biggest of the year, if we do this properly."

Max McGuillicutty: "Then let's make it happen."

Kristine Kringle: "Let's."

She pauses before adding one final thought.

Kristine Kringle: "And Max?"

Max McGuillicutty: "Yes?"

A playful smile returns to her face.

Kristine Kringle: "Good luck on Night One."

She pauses.

Kristine Kringle: "You're going to need it."

Max bursts into laughter.

Max McGuillicutty: "We'll see about that! Good night, Kristine!"

Kristine Kringle: "Good night, Max."

The call ends.

The office becomes quiet again.

Kristine Kringle remains seated behind her desk for several moments, studying the folder in front of her.

She reaches forward and opens it once more.

The camera slowly moves closer.

Across the upper page, the dates are clearly visible.

NOVEMBER 21, 2026 — HCW — NIGHT ONE

NOVEMBER 22, 2026 — NPCW — NIGHT TWO

Below them are the logos of the two promotions, positioned side by side.

Kristine looks toward the enormous windows overlooking the snowy North Pole complex.

Her expression is thoughtful.

Then she glances back at the event folder.

A small, confident smile appears.

Kristine Kringle: "All right, Convergence."

She closes the folder.

Kristine Kringle: "Let's give them something they'll never forget."

The camera lingers on the CONVERGENCE 2026 insignia embossed across the cover.

The office lights slowly fade.

The screen turns black.

Then a low, cinematic musical note begins to rise.

A narrow beam of light cuts through the darkness.

Two separate streams of energy approach from opposite sides of the screen.

They collide in the center with an explosive burst of light.

From the impact emerges the official 2026 CONVERGENCE logo.
