The stakes have never been higher for the Misfits of Mayhem. After a humiliating loss to the Amigos, Commissioner Cratchit is giving them one last chance to prove their worth, booking them against the Yukon Trappers, a grizzled, veteran tag team and former NPCW champions. If they want to be taken seriously in the NPCW—or at least be seen as slightly less ridiculous—they must win.
That means… it’s training time.
PART 1: Training—or Something Like It

| At the Gym Training Hard |
The gym is packed with NPCW hopefuls, veteran stars, and over-enthusiastic gym rats. Negropolis and Mason stand in the middle of the training floor, looking entirely out of place.
Ace MacDougall, their burly, ever-sarcastic manager, claps his hands. "Right, lads! This ain't a walk in the park! We're gettin' ready to take down the Yukon Trappers, so get yer butts in gear!"
Negropolis groans, looking at the exercise equipment like it's a torture chamber. Mason, however, rubs his hands together excitedly.
Mason vs. The Weights:
Mason approaches a ridiculously oversized barbell, flexing at himself in the mirror. "Alright, here we go! Maximum power!" He grips the bar with all his might, strains, grunts dramatically, and… absolutely nothing happens.
Negropolis watches, arms crossed. "Mason, the weights haven’t moved an inch."
Mason gasps for breath. "They will… eventually… IF I DON’T DIE FIRST!"
Negropolis sighs, walking off toward the ring as Flippers adorably tilts his head at Mason’s struggle.
Mason vs. The Exercise Ball:
Mason, determined, swaps the too-heavy weights for a seemingly harmless exercise ball.
Ace raises an eyebrow. “That’s a fancy dodgeball, lad. What’re ye doin’ with it?”
Mason grins, standing on the ball proudly. "Building core strength, boss!"
Negropolis looks up from his jump rope. “Oh, this should end well.”
And it does not.
Mason wobbles… wobbles… wobbles—and then crashes to the ground, knocking over an NPCW rookie in the process.
“I think I pulled something, Neggie.”
“Your dignity?”
Mason vs. The Bike:
Mason climbs onto a stationary bike, gripping the handles like he’s riding into battle.
Ace stares at him. "Pedal, lad!"
Mason glares. "I am!"
Nothing moves.
Negropolis sighs, walking back toward the ring. "Mason, it's unplugged."
Mason yelps, looking around wildly. “Sabotage! I was set up! Someone’s rigging this gym!”
Ace facepalms.
Meanwhile, Negropolis works in the ring, practicing his signature moves, jump rope training (which he gets tangled in within ten seconds), and running drills—where Mason, finally free from the cursed bike, decides to join in.
Negropolis does a lap gracefully.
Mason tries one step, trips, and launches himself into Flippers, sending the poor penguin waddling away in distress.
Ace sighs. "Well, lads… progress is progress… I guess?"
PART 2: Mason’s Lucky Break—or So He Thinks

As Negropolis continues his training (mostly shaking off Mason-related injuries), Mason notices a pretty blonde gym patron nearby. She notices Flippers, smiling.
"Oh my gosh! Is that a penguin?!"
Mason, beaming, hoists Flippers onto his shoulder like a proud father holding his newborn child. "Sure is! Best emotional support animal in the business!"
She giggles, petting Flippers. “That is literally the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”
Mason, immediately sensing an opportunity, puffs up his chest. "Wanna know a secret?"
She leans in slightly. “Sure…”
Mason whispers dramatically, “We are undefeated when Flippers is at ringside.”
She laughs. “That is a very interesting statistic.”
After some brief back-and-forth flirting, she pulls out her phone, writes something down on a piece of paper, and hands it to Mason.
"Here’s my number. Call me sometime."
She winks at him before walking away, mouthing ‘Call me’ one more time.
Mason stares at the paper in disbelief, holding it high like he’s uncovered a lost treasure.
Negropolis walks over, wiping sweat from his brow. "What’s that?"
Mason grins proudly, shoving the paper in Negropolis’s face. "LOOK WHAT I GOT, NEGGIE!"
Negropolis squints, reading the paper. His face twists in pure disbelief.
“…How?”
Mason laughs dramatically, shaking his head. “You can’t question Flippers’ magic, Neggie. You just have to trust.”
Negropolis stares at Flippers, who blinks innocently.
"I hate everything about this."
PART 3: The Nemeses Arrive—Time for Redemption

As Mason basks in his victory, the gym doors swing open, and in walks the Three Amigos—the very team who embarrassed the Misfits in their debut.
Amigo 2 snickers. “Well, well, look who’s here.”
Amigo 3 grins, stretching his arms dramatically. “Training, huh? You guys trying to win this time?”
Negropolis clenches his fists. Mason glares, holding Flippers tighter.
Words fly. Teasing grows. Ego swells.
Then—Negropolis steps forward, pointing at Amigo 1.
"You. Me. Right here. Right now."
Amigo 1 laughs, rolling his shoulders. "Oh? You sure, pal?"
Negropolis nods sharply. “Let’s go.”
Unofficial Match: Negropolis vs. Amigo 1
The match starts off competitive, with Negropolis hitting his BLACK DOOM early, but Amigo 1 counters with a solid dropkick.
Negropolis continues to gain momentum, landing a THRUST KICK and the infamous BITCH SLAP, knocking Amigo 1 silly.
Mason cheers like a lunatic, lifting Flippers high. "NEGGIE’S ON FIRE!"
Negropolis keeps pressing forward, dodging Amigo 1’s attacks and launching him out of the ring.
The ref starts the count.
1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…10.
Amigo 1 throws his hands up and walks off, refusing to continue.
Negropolis sneers victoriously.
Ace laughs. “Lads, it ain’t a real match, but that’s what redemption looks like!”
Mason dances excitedly, holding his newfound love connection number in one hand, Flippers in the other.
Negropolis, for once, feels victorious—even if Mason and his penguin-induced flirting magic remain an ongoing personal nightmare
