7. QUEEN OF CAMELOT

The broadcast cuts backstage to the Northern Belles interview area.

The blue-white backdrop glows beneath cold overhead lighting. The Northern Belles emblem shines in icy gold and steel behind Alexandra Jones, who stands at center frame with microphone in hand.

Beside her stands Lady Guinevere.

The reaction from inside Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum is immediate.

A warm cheer rolls through the building.

Guinevere acknowledges it with a restrained smile, but there is tension behind her composure tonight.

She stands straight.

Regal.

Controlled.

Yet there is a heaviness in her expression that has become increasingly difficult to ignore whenever the subject turns toward Camelot.

Alexandra Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, joining me now is Lady Guinevere.

The crowd responds again.

Alexandra Jones: Guinevere, there has been growing concern across the Mythic Division surrounding King Arthur.

The smile disappears completely.

Alexandra Jones: Over recent weeks we have watched the King become increasingly severe in the way he deals with dissent.

A pause.

Alexandra Jones: He has declared the Merry Band outlaws.

Another.

Alexandra Jones: He has placed a bounty upon them.

Another.

Alexandra Jones: And at Age of Ruin, Robin Hood will challenge him for the Mythic Crown Championship under the condition that if Robin loses, he must kneel before Arthur.

The crowd inside the Coliseum reacts loudly.

Guinevere lowers her eyes briefly.

Then looks toward Alexandra Jones.

Lady Guinevere: Camelot was never meant to be ruled through fear.

Her voice is quiet.

But firm.

Lady Guinevere: A crown is not permission to silence everyone who disagrees with you.

A reaction rises.

Lady Guinevere: It is responsibility.

She pauses.

Lady Guinevere: Responsibility to listen.

Another.

Lady Guinevere: Responsibility to protect.

Another.

Lady Guinevere: And responsibility to understand that loyalty which has to be forced is not loyalty at all.

The crowd cheers.

Alexandra Jones: Those are strong words concerning your husband.

Guinevere does not retreat from them.

Lady Guinevere: They are honest words concerning my husband.

A beat.

Lady Guinevere: I love Arthur.

She looks directly into the camera.

Lady Guinevere: That has not changed.

Another pause.

Lady Guinevere: But loving somebody does not require pretending you cannot see what is happening to them.

Her expression grows more troubled.

Lady Guinevere: The man I knew believed strength came from the people standing beside him.

A pause.

Lady Guinevere: Lately, it feels as though Arthur measures strength by how many people he can force beneath him.

The crowd murmurs.

Lady Guinevere: And I cannot call that wisdom simply because it comes from a king.

A voice cuts into the interview.

Regina: Perhaps that is because you were never much of a queen.

The Coliseum erupts in boos.

Alexandra Jones turns.

Lady Guinevere’s expression immediately hardens.

Regina walks into the interview area.

There is no Huntsman beside her.

She is still dressed in her ring gear from earlier tonight.

The defeat to Ruby Howl is visible in the slight stiffness of her movement, but her posture remains proud.

Behind her, several steps farther down the corridor, stands Severin Crowne.

He does not enter immediately.

He watches.

Regina stops opposite Lady Guinevere.

For several seconds, neither woman speaks.

Regina: Listen to you.

A faint smile.

Regina: Standing beneath bright lights.

Another.

Regina: Telling everyone how a king should rule.

She looks Guinevere up and down.

Regina: As though you have somehow been denied your rightful voice.

Lady Guinevere: I did not say that.

Regina: You did not need to.

She steps closer.

Regina: Every word you just spoke carried the same message.

A pause.

Regina: That Arthur has failed.

Another.

Regina: That Camelot has lost its way.

Another.

Regina: And that somehow you remain above all of it.

Lady Guinevere: If you came here looking for an argument, you found the wrong woman.

Regina: No.

Her smile sharpens.

Regina: I found exactly the right one.

The crowd reacts.

Regina: Because perhaps the problem in Camelot is not simply that Arthur has changed.

She leans slightly toward Guinevere.

Regina: Perhaps the problem is that the woman beside him was never strong enough to stand where she was placed.

The Coliseum boos loudly.

Alexandra Jones instinctively raises the microphone.

Regina: You are not good enough to be Queen of Camelot.

A pause.

Regina: And you are certainly not good enough for Arthur.

The reaction becomes enormous.

Lady Guinevere remains completely still.

For a moment, Regina appears almost pleased that she has produced no visible reaction.

Then Guinevere smiles faintly.

Lady Guinevere: Strong words.

A beat.

Her eyes narrow.

Lady Guinevere: From somebody who just lost her match.

The Coliseum erupts.

Regina’s smile disappears immediately.

From farther down the corridor, Severin Crowne lowers his head slightly.

Almost amused.

Regina: You think that makes you clever?

Lady Guinevere: No.

A pause.

Lady Guinevere: I think it makes your timing unfortunate.

The crowd reacts again.

Lady Guinevere: You walked into my interview moments after Ruby Howl pinned your shoulders to the mat.

Another pause.

Lady Guinevere: And instead of considering why that happened, you came looking for someone else to diminish.

Regina steps closer.

Regina: Be very careful.

Lady Guinevere: Why?

She does not move.

Lady Guinevere: Are you going to tell me I am not good enough again?

A beat.

Lady Guinevere: You have already tried that.

Another.

Lady Guinevere: It was not particularly convincing the first time.

The crowd cheers loudly.

Regina’s jaw tightens.

Regina: You stand there wrapped in nobility while Camelot burns around you.

Lady Guinevere: And you mistake cruelty for strength.

Regina: Strength is taking what should be yours.

Lady Guinevere: No.

Immediate.

Lady Guinevere: Strength is knowing what should never become yours simply because you are capable of taking it.

That lands.

Regina stares at her.

Lady Guinevere: A crown does not make someone worthy.

A pause.

Lady Guinevere: A throne does not create wisdom.

Another.

Lady Guinevere: And declaring yourself superior does not make the people around you lesser.

Regina: Spoken like a woman who knows her throne is slipping away.

The crowd reacts.

Lady Guinevere: My concern is not my throne.

Her voice becomes colder.

Lady Guinevere: That is the difference between us.

A beat.

Regina: Do not pretend you know me.

Lady Guinevere: I know enough.

Another step brings them almost face-to-face.

Lady Guinevere: You lost tonight.

A pause.

Lady Guinevere: You are angry.

Another.

Lady Guinevere: And now you are trying to turn humiliation into authority.

The tension spikes.

Regina raises one hand.

Not quite a strike.

But close.

Before anything can happen, another voice enters.

Severin Crowne: Enough.

The word is quiet.

It does not need volume.

Regina turns.

Severin Crowne walks into the interview area.

Dark suit.

Measured steps.

Expression controlled.

He positions himself slightly beside Regina, never completely between the two women.

Severin Crowne: This accomplishes nothing.

Regina: She—

Severin Crowne: I heard her.

He looks toward Lady Guinevere.

For several seconds, there is something deeply uncomfortable in the silence between them.

Guinevere notices it.

So does Alexandra Jones.

Severin Crowne gives Guinevere a polite nod.

There is no warmth in it.

Severin Crowne: My Lady.

Lady Guinevere: Severin.

That is all.

But something in the exchange carries considerably more weight than the words themselves.

Regina: You are going to let her stand there and—

Severin Crowne: Not here.

His eyes remain on Guinevere.

Severin Crowne: Not tonight.

A pause.

Regina looks toward him.

Severin Crowne finally turns to her.

Severin Crowne: Come.

Regina: I am not finished.

Severin Crowne: Yes.

A beat.

Severin Crowne: You are.

The crowd reacts.

For several seconds, Regina looks as though she might refuse.

Then something passes silently between them.

She steps backward.

Her eyes never leave Lady Guinevere.

Regina: Enjoy standing beneath those lights while you still can.

Lady Guinevere: Perhaps next time you interrupt an interview, bring a victory with you.

Another enormous reaction.

Regina starts forward again.

Severin Crowne catches her lightly by the arm.

Not violently.

Simply enough.

Severin Crowne: Come.

This time she allows him to lead her away.

Alexandra Jones watches them disappear into the corridor.

Lady Guinevere does the same.

The camera remains live.

Neither woman realizes the nearest production microphone is still picking up sound farther down the hallway.

Regina’s voice can be heard faintly.

Regina: She had no right—

Then Severin Crowne.

Lower.

Controlled.

But unmistakable.

Severin Crowne: Now is not the time.

A pause.

Their footsteps continue.

Then—

Severin Crowne: But soon she will pay for her betrayal.

The footsteps disappear.

Silence.

Inside the interview area, Alexandra Jones slowly looks toward Lady Guinevere.

Guinevere’s expression has changed.

Not fear.

Recognition.

Alexandra Jones: Did he just say—

Lady Guinevere: I heard him.

A pause.

Alexandra Jones: Betrayal?

Lady Guinevere continues staring toward the corridor.

Lady Guinevere: Yes.

Her voice becomes quieter.

Lady Guinevere: And that may tell us far more than Severin Crowne intended anyone to hear.

The crowd inside Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum reacts loudly.

Alexandra Jones: Guinevere, do you know what he meant?

A long pause.

Lady Guinevere finally looks toward her.

Lady Guinevere: I know what men like Severin Crowne call betrayal.

Another.

Lady Guinevere: They call it betrayal when someone refuses to become obedient.

The audience cheers.

She turns toward the camera.

Lady Guinevere: If that is his accusation...

A pause.

Lady Guinevere: ...then I am comfortable with the charge.

The Coliseum erupts.

Lady Guinevere gives Alexandra Jones a small nod.

Then walks from the interview position.

Alexandra Jones remains alone.

She looks once more toward the corridor where Severin Crowne and Regina disappeared.

Alexandra Jones: Regina came looking for a confrontation with the Queen of Camelot.

A pause.

Alexandra Jones: But the words we may remember most were spoken after she left.

Another.

Alexandra Jones: Severin Crowne says Lady Guinevere will pay for what he calls her betrayal.

The camera holds on the darkened corridor.

The Northern Belles logo sweeps across the screen.

8. MATCH 4

The broadcast returns live to Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum.

The camera sweeps across the lower bowl before settling on the ring, where Honest Abe checks the ropes and exchanges a brief word with the timekeeper.

At the commentary position, KC Rogers turns toward the entrance.

KC Rogers: We move now to our fourth match of the evening, and this one brings together two women who arrive from very different circumstances.

Vera Steele: Scarlett Howl enters with the Sisters of the Hood carrying momentum after Ruby Howl’s victory earlier tonight. Morgana LeFaye, meanwhile, came within one elimination of winning last week’s Women’s Convergent qualifying Battle Royal.

The lighting darkens.

A crimson moon rises across the enormous screen.

A wolf howl rolls through the Coliseum.

Scarlett Howl steps through the curtain.

Her expression is intense.

Focused.

She pauses beneath the crimson light for only a moment before beginning toward the ring.

KC Rogers: Earlier tonight, Ruby Howl defeated Regina after surviving repeated interference from Huntsman. Now Scarlett Howl gets her opportunity to add another singles victory for the Sisters of the Hood.

Vera Steele: And Scarlett has to make this her own match. What Ruby accomplished earlier does not help her once the bell rings.

Scarlett Howl reaches ringside.

She climbs onto the apron, steps through the ropes and immediately begins pacing near the center.

The crimson moon disappears.

The arena becomes darker.

Deep green and violet light spreads across the stage.

A low mystical pulse begins.

Morgana LeFaye emerges.

The crowd reacts strongly.

She stands beneath the shifting light with her eyes fixed directly on Scarlett Howl.

There is still frustration visible from last week.

No smile.

No hesitation.

She starts toward the ring.

KC Rogers: Morgana LeFaye eliminated three women in Battle Royal Number One last week and survived until the final two before Crimson Viper finally threw her out.

Vera Steele: That matters psychologically. She was one elimination away from advancing. Tonight there is no twenty-woman field around her. No chaos. No alliances. Just Scarlett Howl.

Morgana LeFaye reaches ringside.

She climbs onto the apron.

Scarlett Howl steps forward.

Morgana enters.

Honest Abe immediately positions himself between them and gives both women his final instructions.

Celeste Orion moves to the center with microphone in hand.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following singles contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty-minute time limit!

The crowd responds.

Celeste Orion: Introducing first, representing the Sisters of the Hood... SCARLETT HOWL!

Scarlett Howl raises one arm.

A strong reaction rises.

Celeste Orion: Her opponent... MORGANA LEFAYE!

Morgana LeFaye steps forward.

Her eyes never leave Scarlett.

Celeste Orion exits.

Honest Abe checks both competitors.

He signals.

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Neither woman rushes immediately.

Scarlett Howl circles.

Morgana LeFaye mirrors her.

They approach.

Separate.

Then close again.

Scarlett suddenly drives Morgana backward toward the ropes.

Morgana catches the top strand and tries to turn the position.

Scarlett Howl breaks free and sends her through the ropes to the floor.

Morgana lands on her feet but staggers toward the barricade.

Scarlett does not wait.

She steps onto the apron.

She launches.

Apron Somersault Senton.

Scarlett Howl crashes into Morgana LeFaye and drives both women to the ringside floor.

The crowd rises.

Scarlett rolls toward the apron and returns inside.

Morgana remains down.

Honest Abe begins counting.

One.

Two.

Morgana turns onto one knee.

Three.

She reaches the apron.

Four.

Morgana LeFaye slides back beneath the bottom rope.

The count stops.

KC Rogers: Immediate risk from Scarlett Howl. She sends Morgana LeFaye outside and follows with the Apron Somersault Senton.

Vera Steele: And that tells us something about Scarlett’s approach. She is willing to leave the safety of the ring to create impact. The concern is that every dive carries equal danger for the person delivering it.

Minute 2

Morgana LeFaye rises quickly after returning.

Scarlett Howl catches her around the waist.

She lifts.

Bridging Northern Lights Suplex.

Morgana lands across the shoulders.

Scarlett maintains the bridge briefly before releasing.

Morgana LeFaye rolls through.

She forces herself upright.

Scarlett approaches.

Morgana catches the waist.

Release German Suplex.

Scarlett Howl is launched backward and lands high across the shoulders.

Both women separate.

KC Rogers: Bridging Northern Lights Suplex from Scarlett Howl, answered immediately by the Release German Suplex from Morgana LeFaye.

Vera Steele: Both attacks target the upper back and shoulders, but the mechanics are very different. Scarlett controlled the landing and bridge. Morgana used pure release velocity.

Minute 3

Scarlett Howl gets to one knee.

Morgana LeFaye closes before she can fully rise.

She catches Scarlett from behind.

Another Release German Suplex.

This one sends Scarlett farther across the canvas.

Scarlett Howl rolls toward the ropes and remains down longer.

Morgana stands near the center and watches her recover.

KC Rogers: Back-to-back Release German Suplexes now from Morgana LeFaye.

Vera Steele: And Scarlett’s recovery is already slower. Repeated impact across the shoulders and neck can change how confidently she commits to another aerial attack.

Minute 4

Scarlett Howl uses the ropes to rise.

Morgana LeFaye approaches.

Scarlett catches her first.

She hooks the body.

Vertical Suplex.

Morgana is lifted cleanly and driven down.

Scarlett Howl remains standing over her.

She does not cover.

Instead, she pulls Morgana back toward the center.

KC Rogers: Vertical Suplex from Scarlett Howl stops the momentum Morgana had been building.

Vera Steele: Important response. Scarlett did not try to match another German Suplex. She changed the grip, controlled the body from the front and reset the match on her terms.

Minute 5

Both women return to their feet.

Scarlett Howl closes first.

Headbutt.

The strike catches Morgana LeFaye high across the forehead.

Morgana staggers backward.

Scarlett moves forward again.

Morgana suddenly pivots.

Roundhouse Kick.

The kick catches Scarlett Howl across the side of the head.

Scarlett drops to one knee.

Morgana falls backward after the exchange.

Both women remain down momentarily.

KC Rogers: Headbutt from Scarlett, answered by the Roundhouse Kick from Morgana.

Vera Steele: Neither woman protected herself particularly well there. Scarlett accepted close-range head contact to create offense, and Morgana answered with a strike that required full rotation. Both paid something for that exchange.

Minute 6

Morgana LeFaye rises first.

She measures Scarlett Howl.

Super Kick.

Scarlett sees it coming.

She catches the leg before full extension.

Morgana’s balance disappears.

Scarlett Howl pulls her forward.

Wolf Trap.

The Snap Suplex drives Morgana LeFaye into the canvas.

The crowd responds.

Scarlett gets back to her feet quickly.

Morgana rolls onto her side.

KC Rogers: Scarlett Howl reverses the Super Kick and answers with the Wolf Trap.

Vera Steele: Excellent anticipation. Scarlett did not simply avoid the kick. She captured the leg and used Morgana’s forward momentum to make the Snap Suplex easier to complete.

Minute 7

Scarlett Howl keeps pressing.

She moves behind Morgana LeFaye.

Morgana tries to turn.

Scarlett catches her.

Belly to Back Pendulum Facebuster.

Morgana is swung forward and driven face-first into the canvas.

Scarlett begins to rise.

Morgana LeFaye catches her arm during the transition.

She twists underneath.

Sorceress's Embrace.

The submission tightens.

Scarlett Howl immediately reaches toward the ropes.

Morgana pulls the arm and shoulder farther away.

Honest Abe drops beside them.

Scarlett refuses to submit.

She shifts her hips.

Gets one knee underneath herself.

Then turns enough to force Morgana to loosen the hold.

KC Rogers: Pendulum Facebuster from Scarlett Howl, but Morgana LeFaye answers with Sorceress's Embrace.

Vera Steele: That was a strong transition from Morgana. She was vulnerable immediately after the Facebuster, but instead of trying to stand first, she attacked the nearest limb from underneath.

Minute 8

Scarlett Howl pulls herself free.

She reaches Morgana LeFaye before the submission specialist can reset.

Vertical Suplex.

Morgana crashes across the canvas.

Scarlett follows.

Morgana catches the arm again.

Fujiwara Armbar.

Scarlett Howl drops immediately.

Morgana extends the arm across the canvas.

Honest Abe watches closely.

Scarlett clenches her free hand.

She refuses to submit.

She crawls toward the ropes.

Morgana increases the pressure.

Scarlett Howl finally reaches the bottom strand.

Honest Abe calls for the break.

Morgana releases cleanly.

KC Rogers: Another Vertical Suplex from Scarlett, but Morgana is finding submission opportunities almost every time Scarlett remains close after a throw.

Vera Steele: And now the arm becomes relevant. If Scarlett wants another dive or another bridging suplex, that damaged arm has to stabilize her body. Morgana is attacking a functional part of her offense.

Minute 9

Morgana LeFaye rises near the ropes.

Scarlett Howl charges.

Morgana attempts to catch her.

Scarlett drives through and forces Morgana out through the ropes again.

Morgana LeFaye falls to the ringside floor.

Scarlett looks down.

The crowd immediately recognizes what is coming.

She steps onto the apron.

Morgana begins to rise.

Scarlett Howl launches.

Apron Somersault Senton.

The impact crushes Morgana against the floor.

Scarlett rolls away clutching her arm briefly.

Then gets back inside.

Honest Abe begins counting.

One.

Two.

Morgana remains down.

Three.

Four.

She starts moving.

Five.

Morgana reaches one knee.

Six.

She grabs the apron.

Seven.

Morgana LeFaye slides underneath the bottom rope.

The count stops.

KC Rogers: Second Apron Somersault Senton from Scarlett Howl, and this time Morgana needed seven to return.

Vera Steele: But look at Scarlett’s arm. The Fujiwara Armbar mattered. She landed the Senton, but her own ability to absorb that landing is beginning to deteriorate.

Minute 10

Morgana LeFaye tries to stand.

Scarlett Howl reaches her first.

Headbutt.

The strike lands flush.

Morgana staggers backward.

Scarlett follows with another short drive forward.

Morgana LeFaye falls against the ropes.

Scarlett does not give her room to recover.

KC Rogers: Another Headbutt from Scarlett Howl.

Vera Steele: Morgana’s recovery after that second floor impact is significantly slower. Scarlett has recognized it and is keeping the pace high before Morgana can reestablish her submission game.

Minute 11

Morgana LeFaye attempts to change the match.

She catches Scarlett Howl’s arm.

She turns underneath.

Sorceress's Embrace.

Scarlett recognizes the position immediately.

Before Morgana can fully secure the submission, Scarlett Howl rotates with the pressure.

She pulls her arm free.

Morgana stumbles toward the ropes.

Scarlett charges.

The momentum carries Morgana LeFaye through the ropes and onto the floor.

Scarlett wastes no time.

She steps onto the apron.

The crowd rises.

Morgana looks up.

Scarlett Howl launches.

Apron Somersault Senton.

For the third time in the match, Scarlett crashes down across Morgana LeFaye.

Both women hit the ringside floor.

Scarlett Howl rolls toward the apron.

She pulls herself underneath the bottom rope.

Morgana remains down.

Honest Abe turns toward the floor.

He begins counting.

One.

Morgana LeFaye rolls onto her side.

Two.

She reaches toward the barricade.

Three.

Scarlett Howl remains inside, breathing heavily.

Four.

Morgana pushes herself to one knee.

Five.

She collapses back down.

Six.

KC Rogers: Morgana is struggling badly now!

Seven.

She reaches the apron.

Eight.

Her fingers catch the edge.

She tries to pull herself upward.

Nine.

Morgana LeFaye gets one knee beneath her.

She reaches toward the bottom rope.

Ten.

Honest Abe immediately calls for the bell.

The Coliseum erupts.

Morgana LeFaye freezes on the floor.

She looks upward toward the referee.

Inside the ring, Scarlett Howl raises both arms.

KC Rogers: MORGANA LEFAYE HAS BEEN COUNTED OUT!

Honest Abe raises Scarlett Howl’s arm.

Celeste Orion enters.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, Morgana LeFaye has failed to return to the ring before the referee's count of ten.

A strong reaction rises.

Celeste Orion: Therefore, your winner by COUNT-OUT... SCARLETT HOWL!

SCARLETT HOWL DEFEATS MORGANA LEFAYE VIA COUNT-OUT AT 11:00 MINUTE MARK.

KC Rogers: Scarlett Howl gets the victory, and the decisive pattern was established in the very first minute.

The replay begins.

The first Apron Somersault Senton.

Morgana LeFaye returning at four.

The second dive.

Morgana returning at seven.

Then the final exchange.

Sorceress's Embrace attempted.

Scarlett escapes.

Morgana goes to the floor.

The third Apron Somersault Senton.

Ten.

The bell.

Vera Steele: Three times Scarlett Howl forced this match onto the floor with that same attack.

A pause.

Vera Steele: The first time, Morgana returned at four.

Another.

Vera Steele: The second time, seven.

Another.

Vera Steele: The third time, she could not return at all.

The replay freezes on Morgana LeFaye reaching toward the bottom rope just after the count reaches ten.

Vera Steele: That is accumulated damage producing the finish. Scarlett identified something that worked and kept returning to it until Morgana’s recovery time became longer than the referee’s count.

Inside the ring, Scarlett Howl stands near the ropes.

She looks down toward Morgana LeFaye.

No mockery.

No celebration directed at her opponent.

Just recognition.

At ringside, Morgana has reached her feet.

She stares back into the ring.

Frustrated.

Eleven minutes.

Three dives to the floor.

And another week where she came dangerously close without getting the result she wanted.

KC Rogers: This is a significant singles victory for Scarlett Howl, especially after the night the Sisters of the Hood have already had.

Footage briefly shows Ruby Howl defeating Regina earlier.

Then returns to Scarlett.

KC Rogers: Ruby Howl defeated Regina earlier tonight.

A beat.

KC Rogers: Now Scarlett Howl defeats Morgana LeFaye.

Vera Steele: Two very different victories. Ruby survived a match repeatedly altered from outside. Scarlett found one weakness in Morgana’s recovery and exploited it three times.

Scarlett Howl steps onto the second turnbuckle.

A crimson moon fills the screen behind her.

She raises one arm.

The crowd responds loudly.

At ringside, Morgana LeFaye slowly begins walking toward the entrance.

She looks back once.

Scarlett remains standing tall.

The Northern Belles logo sweeps across the screen.

9. MAIN EVENT

The broadcast returns live to Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum.

For several seconds, the camera does not immediately move toward the ring.

Instead, the enormous screen above the entrance comes alive.

March 2025.

Images flash from the night Wicked Witch attacked both Mrs. Claus and Dorothy.

Then the months that followed.

A harder, more outspoken Dorothy.

The formation and rise of the Blonde Bombshells.

Championship gold.

Alice and Dorothy becoming North Star Tag Team Champions.

Then fragments of the philosophical divide that remained beneath everything.

The younger generation demanding opportunity.

Veterans defending the places they had earned.

Words spoken.

Feelings left unresolved.

Finally, footage from seven nights ago.

Mrs. Claus standing beside Alexandra Jones.

Mrs. Claus: Moving forward is not the same thing as resolving something.

The image changes.

Mrs. Claus: No championship.

Another.

Mrs. Claus: No stipulation.

Another.

Mrs. Claus: No partners.

A beat.

Mrs. Claus: No excuses.

Then the final words.

Mrs. Claus: Dorothy.

A pause.

Mrs. Claus: Let us finish what we never finished.

The screen goes black.

The live crowd applauds.

At ringside, KC Rogers looks toward the ring.

KC Rogers: This match began long before tonight. What happened to Mrs. Claus and Dorothy in March of last year changed both women, and the relationship between them never completely recovered.

Vera Steele: But what makes tonight different from most unresolved rivalries is that neither woman came here asking for revenge. Mrs. Claus said very clearly that she respects what Dorothy has become. She simply believes there are things between them that cannot be settled through conversation alone.

KC Rogers: One match.

A pause.

KC Rogers: And when it ends, both women hope they can finally leave the past where it belongs.

The lighting changes.

Warm red, gold and white illumination spreads across the Coliseum.

A familiar festive musical theme begins.

The reaction is enormous.

Mrs. Claus steps through the curtain.

She stands beneath the entrance arch for several seconds.

There is warmth in her expression.

But tonight there is also complete competitive focus.

No smile toward the camera.

No theatrical gestures.

She looks directly toward the ring.

Then begins walking.

KC Rogers: One of the most respected veterans Northern Belles has ever had.

Vera Steele: And that word matters tonight. Veteran. Mrs. Claus has watched generations of competitors arrive, develop and eventually stand across from her believing they are ready to take her place.

KC Rogers: Tonight, the woman across from her may represent something more personal than that.

Mrs. Claus reaches ringside.

She climbs carefully onto the apron.

She steps through the ropes and walks toward the center.

The crowd gives her another long ovation.

Mrs. Claus acknowledges it with one small nod.

Then turns toward the entrance.

The festive lighting disappears.

Blue and gold begin sweeping across the stage.

The skyline of the Emerald City forms across the enormous screen.

Then the familiar Blonde Bombshell imagery appears.

But only one woman walks through the curtain.

Dorothy.

The North Star Tag Team Championship is not with her.

Neither is Alice.

Neither is Rapunzel.

Tonight she comes alone.

The crowd rises.

Dorothy stops at the top of the aisle.

Her eyes meet Mrs. Claus.

For several seconds, neither woman moves.

Then Dorothy begins walking.

KC Rogers: No championship tonight. No partners. Exactly what Mrs. Claus asked for.

Vera Steele: And perhaps exactly what Dorothy needed as well. She has accomplished enormous things alongside the Blonde Bombshells, but tonight there is nowhere to distribute responsibility. Whatever happens belongs to her.

Dorothy reaches ringside.

She climbs onto the apron.

Mrs. Claus remains in the center.

Dorothy enters.

They approach one another.

No shove.

No hostility.

Just a long look.

Honest Abe steps between them and gives his instructions.

Both women listen.

Both nod.

Neither looks away from the other.

Celeste Orion steps forward with microphone in hand.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is tonight’s SPECIAL MAIN EVENT and is scheduled for one fall with a thirty-minute time limit!

The Coliseum erupts.

Celeste Orion: Introducing first, one of the most respected competitors in Northern Belles history... MRS. CLAUS!

The crowd rises again.

Mrs. Claus lifts one hand.

Celeste Orion turns.

Celeste Orion: Her opponent, one-half of the reigning North Star Tag Team Champions... representing the Blonde Bombshells... DOROTHY!

A huge reaction follows.

Dorothy raises one arm.

Then looks immediately back toward Mrs. Claus.

Celeste Orion exits.

Honest Abe checks both competitors one final time.

He steps away.

The bell rings.

Minute 1

Mrs. Claus takes the center immediately.

Dorothy attempts to circle.

The veteran cuts off the angle.

Dorothy tries to change direction.

Mrs. Claus explodes forward.

Christmas Lights Clothesline.

The arm crashes across Dorothy’s upper chest and sends her hard onto the canvas.

Mrs. Claus does not celebrate.

She steps back and allows Dorothy to rise.

KC Rogers: Christmas Lights Clothesline from Mrs. Claus, and the veteran establishes control immediately.

Vera Steele: She cut down the lateral movement before delivering it. Dorothy wanted space. Mrs. Claus refused to give it to her.

Minute 2

Dorothy rises and tries to close the distance herself.

Mrs. Claus catches her first.

A sharp Kick lands directly into the midsection.

Dorothy folds forward.

Mrs. Claus follows with a second short strike to the body before forcing Dorothy back toward the center.

Dorothy straightens slowly.

Mrs. Claus remains directly in front of her.

KC Rogers: Mrs. Claus has controlled the opening two minutes through positioning and direct offense.

Vera Steele: And she is attacking the body rather than chasing spectacular impact. Veteran economy. Every movement is designed to keep Dorothy from establishing pace.

Minute 3

Mrs. Claus steps forward.

She attempts the Rolling Pin Forearm Smash.

Dorothy sees it coming.

She catches the arm and turns underneath.

The momentum carries Mrs. Claus forward.

Dorothy gets underneath her.

Bodyslam.

Mrs. Claus crashes onto the canvas.

Dorothy remains standing beside her.

The crowd responds.

KC Rogers: First significant answer from Dorothy. She reverses the Rolling Pin Forearm and lands the Bodyslam.

Vera Steele: More importantly, she did it through anticipation. Dorothy is beginning to read the rhythm Mrs. Claus established in the opening minutes.

Minute 4

Dorothy presses immediately.

She catches Mrs. Claus near the ropes.

Dorothy climbs to the middle strand while maintaining control of the head.

She rotates.

Kansas Cyclone.

The Tornado DDT drives Mrs. Claus into the canvas.

The crowd rises.

Dorothy sits upright beside her.

Mrs. Claus rolls slowly onto her side.

KC Rogers: Kansas Cyclone from Dorothy!

Vera Steele: That is a major shift. Dorothy has now produced consecutive clean attacks after spending the first two minutes reacting.

Minute 5

Mrs. Claus attempts to rise.

Dorothy forces her backward.

She creates distance.

Then charges.

Splash.

Dorothy crashes across Mrs. Claus and drives her flat against the canvas.

She gets back to her knees but does not cover.

Mrs. Claus turns toward the ropes.

KC Rogers: Splash from Dorothy, and now the momentum belongs completely to her.

Vera Steele: She is making Mrs. Claus carry body weight. That matters against a veteran who wants to slow the pace and make every exchange deliberate.

Minute 6

Mrs. Claus uses the ropes to get upright.

Dorothy approaches.

Mrs. Claus suddenly fires.

Back Hand Chop.

The strike cracks across Dorothy’s chest.

Dorothy recoils.

Another short exchange follows.

Mrs. Claus regains the center.

KC Rogers: Mrs. Claus interrupts the run with that Back Hand Chop.

Vera Steele: Good veteran reset. She did not try to force a complicated counter while under pressure. One sharp strike created enough hesitation to regain position.

Minute 7

Dorothy attacks first.

She catches Mrs. Claus around the waist.

Spinebuster.

The veteran is driven hard into the canvas.

Dorothy rises.

Mrs. Claus catches her during the transition.

She hooks the legs and pulls Dorothy backward.

Claus Clutch.

The Camel Clutch is secured.

Dorothy’s upper body bends beneath the pressure.

Honest Abe drops beside her.

Dorothy shakes her head.

No submission.

She plants both palms against the mat and begins trying to push upward.

KC Rogers: Spinebuster from Dorothy, immediately followed by the Claus Clutch from Mrs. Claus!

Vera Steele: That is experience. Mrs. Claus absorbed the impact and recognized that Dorothy’s body position afterward exposed the back. She attacked without needing to stand first.

Minute 8

Dorothy finally creates enough separation to escape the Claus Clutch.

Both women rise.

Mrs. Claus reaches for the head.

Dorothy catches one arm and turns sharply.

One-Armed Neckbreaker Slam.

Mrs. Claus is driven backward into the canvas.

The crowd responds loudly.

Dorothy stays close.

KC Rogers: One-Armed Neckbreaker Slam from Dorothy.

Vera Steele: And notice how quickly she attacked after escaping the submission. Dorothy is refusing to allow the emotional weight of this match to make her hesitant.

Minute 9

Dorothy reaches for Mrs. Claus.

She attempts another Kansas Cyclone.

Mrs. Claus blocks the rotation.

She catches Dorothy during the transition.

She forces her down.

Claus Clutch.

The Camel Clutch is secured for the second time.

This one is deeper.

Dorothy’s arms reach toward the mat.

Mrs. Claus sits farther backward.

Honest Abe asks for the submission.

Dorothy shakes her head repeatedly.

She refuses.

The crowd begins clapping rhythmically.

Dorothy pushes upward.

One arm.

Then the other.

She twists enough to loosen the control.

Mrs. Claus finally releases.

KC Rogers: Second Claus Clutch, and this was considerably tighter.

Vera Steele: Mrs. Claus prevented the Kansas Cyclone before it developed and turned the counter directly into her strongest submission position. That is the type of mistake Dorothy cannot repeat.

Minute 10

Both women rise slowly.

Dorothy moves first.

She catches the head.

Kansas Cyclone.

This time the Tornado DDT lands cleanly.

Mrs. Claus rolls onto her back.

Dorothy gets upright.

Mrs. Claus suddenly reaches forward.

Spreading Christmas Joy Hug.

She locks both arms tightly around Dorothy’s torso.

Dorothy struggles as the veteran compresses the ribs.

She drives repeated forearms into the shoulder until Mrs. Claus finally releases.

KC Rogers: Kansas Cyclone from Dorothy, followed by the Spreading Christmas Joy Hug from Mrs. Claus.

Vera Steele: Very different attacks, but both affect recovery. The DDT attacks the head. The Hug takes away breath. At ten minutes, both women are starting to accumulate damage that affects the next exchange.

Minute 11

Dorothy tries to step back into range.

Mrs. Claus catches her.

Another Kick to the midsection.

Dorothy folds forward.

Mrs. Claus keeps one hand against her shoulder and prevents her from immediately retreating.

Dorothy finally pulls free.

KC Rogers: Mrs. Claus returns to the body again.

Vera Steele: She has been consistent with that target since the second minute. The ribs have absorbed the Hug, the midsection has taken repeated kicks, and that can begin reducing the explosiveness of Dorothy’s rotational offense.

Minute 12

Mrs. Claus advances.

Rolling Pin Forearm Smash.

This time Dorothy cannot counter.

The forearm catches her cleanly and knocks her backward.

Dorothy lands near the center.

Mrs. Claus stands above her.

For a moment, she looks down.

Then motions for Dorothy to get back up.

The crowd reacts appreciatively.

KC Rogers: Rolling Pin Forearm Smash lands cleanly.

Vera Steele: And look at what Mrs. Claus did afterward. No unnecessary cover. No frustration. She believes she still needs more before she can finish Dorothy.

Minute 13

Dorothy forces herself upright.

She creates distance.

Emerald City Elbow.

The strike lands against Mrs. Claus.

The veteran staggers.

She answers immediately.

Claus Crunch.

The Standing Splash crushes Dorothy against the canvas.

Mrs. Claus hooks the leg.

Honest Abe counts.

One.

Dorothy kicks out.

The crowd reacts.

Mrs. Claus sits upright.

She looks toward Dorothy with visible recognition.

KC Rogers: Claus Crunch, but Dorothy escapes at one.

Vera Steele: That kickout sends a message about remaining reserves. Dorothy was hit cleanly and still had enough awareness and strength to break the cover almost immediately.

Minute 14

Dorothy gets to her feet.

She charges.

Splash.

Mrs. Claus moves and redirects the impact.

Dorothy stumbles forward.

Mrs. Claus attempts another Kick to the midsection.

Dorothy catches the leg.

She turns underneath.

School-Girl Roll-Up.

Mrs. Claus is pulled onto her shoulders.

Honest Abe drops down.

Before he can fully establish the count, Mrs. Claus twists free.

Both women scramble back up.

KC Rogers: Counter after counter. Mrs. Claus stops the Splash. Dorothy stops the Kick and turns it into the School-Girl Roll-Up.

Vera Steele: That Roll-Up matters even without the fall. Mrs. Claus now knows Dorothy can turn almost any standing exchange into a pinning situation.

Minute 15

Mrs. Claus moves forward.

Rolling Pin Forearm Smash.

Dorothy sees it again.

She slips underneath.

She catches Mrs. Claus from behind.

School-Girl Roll-Up.

This time the shoulders are down cleanly.

Honest Abe counts.

One.

Two.

Mrs. Claus kicks out.

Dorothy releases immediately.

Both women rise.

KC Rogers: Two! Dorothy nearly got her with the same Roll-Up!

Vera Steele: And that is now a genuine tactical concern for Mrs. Claus. She escaped the first quickly. The second required a full two-count. Dorothy is learning how to secure the position more effectively.

Minute 16

Dorothy attacks first.

Splash.

The impact catches Mrs. Claus and drives her down.

Dorothy begins to rise.

Mrs. Claus fires from underneath.

Rolling Pin Forearm Smash.

The strike catches Dorothy during her recovery.

Both women fall apart from one another.

KC Rogers: Splash from Dorothy, Rolling Pin Forearm from Mrs. Claus.

Vera Steele: Neither woman is allowing the other to stack offense. At sixteen minutes, every successful attack is being answered before it develops into two or three.

Minute 17

Dorothy reaches Mrs. Claus first.

She catches the head.

Kansas Cyclone.

Mrs. Claus blocks enough of the rotation to prevent the DDT from fully landing.

She gets underneath Dorothy during the scramble.

Claus Crunch.

The Standing Splash lands.

Dorothy turns onto her side.

Mrs. Claus remains on one knee beside her.

Both women breathe heavily.

KC Rogers: Dorothy tried the Kansas Cyclone again, but Mrs. Claus absorbed enough of it to answer with the Claus Crunch.

Vera Steele: We are reaching the stage where execution is becoming less clean because both women are tired. That makes fundamentals even more important.

Minute 18

Dorothy gets back to her feet.

Mrs. Claus rises more slowly.

Dorothy sees the opening.

Emerald City Elbow.

The strike lands cleanly.

Mrs. Claus falls.

Dorothy immediately hooks the leg.

Honest Abe counts.

One.

Two.

Mrs. Claus kicks out.

The crowd rises.

Dorothy sits beside her.

She closes her eyes for one second.

Then gets back up.

KC Rogers: Another close two-count for Dorothy!

Vera Steele: And now Mrs. Claus is beginning to lose recovery speed. That Emerald City Elbow created the first cover in several minutes where the veteran looked genuinely threatened.

Minute 19

Mrs. Claus rises.

Dorothy moves toward her.

The veteran catches the approach.

Rolling Pin Forearm Smash.

The forearm lands flush.

Dorothy drops backward.

Mrs. Claus takes several breaths before following.

KC Rogers: Another Rolling Pin Forearm Smash from Mrs. Claus.

Vera Steele: But the recovery afterward is important. Earlier she landed that strike and remained immediately active. Now she needs several seconds before she can continue.

Minute 20

Dorothy rises before Mrs. Claus can capitalize.

She drives the veteran toward the ropes.

She climbs.

Kansas Cyclone.

The Tornado DDT lands cleanly.

The crowd explodes.

Dorothy immediately covers.

Honest Abe counts.

One.

Mrs. Claus kicks out.

Dorothy looks surprised by the early escape.

Mrs. Claus rolls onto one side.

KC Rogers: Kansas Cyclone, but Mrs. Claus escapes at one!

Vera Steele: That is veteran awareness rather than fresh reserves. She felt the cover coming and turned the shoulder before Dorothy could completely settle her weight.

Minute 21

Both women rise slowly.

The Coliseum is standing.

Dorothy reaches the center first.

Mrs. Claus follows.

For several seconds they simply look at one another.

No anger.

No hesitation.

Just exhaustion.

Mrs. Claus steps forward.

Dorothy catches the movement.

She drops underneath.

School-Girl Roll-Up.

Mrs. Claus is pulled backward.

Her shoulders hit the canvas.

Honest Abe dives into position.

One.

The crowd rises louder.

Two.

Mrs. Claus shifts her hips.

Three.

The bell rings.

For a moment, Dorothy remains frozen in the position.

Then she releases.

The Coliseum erupts.

Dorothy sits upright.

She looks toward Honest Abe.

Then toward Mrs. Claus.

The referee raises her arm.

KC Rogers: DOROTHY HAS DONE IT!

Celeste Orion enters the ring.

Celeste Orion: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner... DOROTHY!

DOROTHY DEFEATS MRS. CLAUS VIA PINFALL WITH A SCHOOL-GIRL ROLL-UP AT 21:00 MINUTE MARK.

Dorothy gets back to her feet.

The crowd continues cheering.

Across from her, Mrs. Claus sits against the bottom rope.

She looks down for several seconds.

Then smiles.

Not because she lost.

Because she understands exactly what happened.

KC Rogers: Twenty-one minutes.

A pause.

KC Rogers: And after everything these two women carried into this ring, Dorothy has defeated Mrs. Claus.

The replay begins.

Christmas Lights Clothesline.

The early body attack from Mrs. Claus.

The first Kansas Cyclone.

The Claus Clutch.

Dorothy refusing to submit.

The second Claus Clutch.

Another escape.

The One-Armed Neckbreaker Slam.

The Claus Crunch.

Then the increasingly dangerous Roll-Ups.

First attempt.

Second attempt.

Two-count.

Then the final one.

One.

Two.

Three.

Vera Steele: The finish was not accidental.

The replay shows the sequence again.

Vera Steele: Dorothy introduced that School-Girl Roll-Up in the fourteenth minute.

A beat.

Vera Steele: She used it again in the fifteenth and forced Mrs. Claus to kick out at two.

Another.

Vera Steele: Then in the twenty-first minute, with both women exhausted and Mrs. Claus’s recovery slower, Dorothy secured the same position cleanly enough to keep the shoulders down for three.

The replay ends.

Inside the ring, Mrs. Claus has reached her feet.

Dorothy stands several feet away.

The atmosphere changes.

The competitive tension disappears.

For a moment, neither knows what comes next.

Then Mrs. Claus walks toward her.

Dorothy remains still.

The Coliseum quiets.

Mrs. Claus extends one hand.

Dorothy looks down at it.

Then takes it.

The crowd begins applauding.

Mrs. Claus pulls her closer.

And embraces her.

Dorothy immediately returns the hug.

The applause becomes an enormous cheer.

Neither woman releases quickly.

Everything from March 2025.

Every disagreement.

Every accusation about veterans and opportunity.

Every unspoken piece of resentment.

For this moment, none of it matters.

They finally separate.

Dorothy’s expression is emotional.

Mrs. Claus looks at her for several seconds.

Then takes Dorothy’s wrist.

She turns toward the crowd.

Raises Dorothy’s arm.

The Coliseum erupts.

But Mrs. Claus does something more.

She points directly at Dorothy with her free hand.

Not at herself.

Not toward the referee.

At Dorothy.

The gesture is unmistakable.

Look at her.

KC Rogers: Look at Mrs. Claus.

A pause.

KC Rogers: This is bigger than acknowledging the woman who defeated her tonight.

The camera tightens.

Mrs. Claus continues pointing toward Dorothy as the North Star Tag Team Champion absorbs the reaction.

Vera Steele: This is recognition.

A beat.

Vera Steele: Mrs. Claus has spent years being one of the women others measured themselves against.

Another.

Vera Steele: Tonight she is telling this division that Dorothy belongs in that position now.

The crowd grows even louder.

Mrs. Claus lowers Dorothy’s arm.

She places both hands on Dorothy’s shoulders.

They exchange a few quiet words that the cameras cannot hear.

Dorothy nods.

Mrs. Claus smiles.

Then raises her arm again.

KC Rogers: There does not have to be a retirement for a torch to be passed.

A pause.

KC Rogers: Sometimes it is simply one generation looking at the next and saying...

The camera closes on Mrs. Claus pointing toward Dorothy again.

KC Rogers: You are ready.

The crowd erupts.

Dorothy looks toward Mrs. Claus.

Her eyes soften.

She pulls the veteran into another hug.

Vera Steele: And Dorothy earned that acknowledgment tonight. Not because Mrs. Claus gave her anything.

A beat.

Vera Steele: Because she beat her.

The two women separate again.

Mrs. Claus steps backward toward the ropes.

She leaves the center of the ring to Dorothy.

The symbolism is impossible to miss.

Dorothy watches her.

Mrs. Claus reaches the apron.

Before stepping down, she looks back.

One final nod.

Then she leaves.

The crowd remains standing.

Dorothy turns slowly toward the Coliseum.

The Blonde Bombshell imagery begins forming across the enormous screen behind her.

But tonight there is no Alice.

No Rapunzel.

Just Dorothy.

Standing alone.

Victorious.

KC Rogers: More than a year ago, pain helped change Dorothy.

A pause.

KC Rogers: Tonight, perhaps something else changed.

Another.

KC Rogers: Not the end of Mrs. Claus.

The camera briefly shows the veteran stopping in the aisle and looking back toward the ring.

Then returns to Dorothy.

KC Rogers: But an acknowledgment that Northern Belles continues moving forward.

Vera Steele: And tonight, Dorothy proved she is capable of helping lead where it goes next.

Dorothy climbs onto the second turnbuckle.

She raises one arm.

The crowd responds with another enormous cheer.

Farther up the aisle, Mrs. Claus applauds.

Then points toward her one final time.

Dorothy sees it.

She places one hand over her heart.

The camera holds on the image.

The veteran in the aisle.

The champion in the ring.

One generation acknowledging the next.

The Northern Belles logo sweeps across the screen.

10. CLOSING

The broadcast returns live to Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum.

The camera sweeps slowly across the standing crowd before settling on KC Rogers and Vera Steele at the commentary desk.

Behind them, highlights from the evening begin rotating across the enormous screen.

KC Rogers: An extraordinary night on Northern Belles comes to an end, and once again this division leaves us with considerably more to follow than when we began.

The first replay appears.

Twenty women filling the ring.

Lilith eliminating Velora Synn.

Dr. Violetta Voss immediately eliminating Lilith.

Pearl throwing out Ursa Titania.

Hard Candy eliminating Wicked Witch.

Then the closing run from Glint Grimm.

Dr. Violetta Voss.

Mina Harker.

Grizelda.

Finally—

La Bruja Muerte weakening Glint Grimm with the STF before forcing her over the top rope.

KC Rogers: La Bruja Muerte survived the second Women’s Convergent Championship Qualifying Battle Royal and joins Crimson Viper in the semifinal field.

The bracket appears.

BATTLE ROYAL 1 — CRIMSON VIPER

BATTLE ROYAL 2 — LA BRUJA MUERTE

BATTLE ROYAL 3 — NEXT WEEK

BATTLE ROYAL 4 — TBD

Vera Steele: And next week, twenty more women compete for the third position.

The highlights change.

Hilda Stormhoof and Brynja Northbell appear.

NORTHERN FREIGHT

Their debut against Patchwork Paige and Patchwork Paula flashes across the screen.

Powerbombs.

Sentons.

The Patchwork Dolls’ tandem offense.

The Puppetmaster’s interference.

Then the final Package Piledriver before the clock expires.

KC Rogers: Northern Freight made its Northern Belles debut and immediately went thirty minutes with the Patchwork Dolls.

Vera Steele: No victory, but Hilda Stormhoof and Brynja Northbell proved very quickly that they belong in this tag team division.

The replay changes again.

Ruby Howl against Regina.

Huntsman’s repeated interference.

Red Moon Rising.

One. Two. Three.

Then Severin Crowne watching Regina afterward.

KC Rogers: Ruby Howl overcame both Regina and repeated involvement from Huntsman to earn a major singles victory.

The backstage confrontation appears.

Lady Guinevere face-to-face with Regina.

Then Severin Crowne leading Regina away.

His words appear beneath the footage.

NOW IS NOT THE TIME. BUT SOON SHE WILL PAY FOR HER BETRAYAL.

Vera Steele: And Severin Crowne may have revealed considerably more than he intended concerning Lady Guinevere.

The screen changes.

Scarlett Howl launches from the apron.

Once. Twice.

Then the third Apron Somersault Senton.

Ten.

The bell.

KC Rogers: Scarlett Howl completed an excellent night for the Sisters of the Hood by defeating Morgana LeFaye via count-out.

Finally, the special main event appears.

Dorothy.

Mrs. Claus.

The Kansas Cyclone.

The Claus Clutch.

The repeated School-Girl Roll-Ups.

Then the final one.

One. Two. Three.

The replay does not end there.

Mrs. Claus embraces Dorothy.

She raises Dorothy’s arm.

Then points directly toward her as the crowd rises.

KC Rogers: And perhaps the image that will define tonight.

A pause.

KC Rogers: Dorothy defeated Mrs. Claus.

The footage shows the embrace again.

KC Rogers: But what happened afterward felt less like the conclusion of an old disagreement...

Another pause.

KC Rogers: ...and more like one generation acknowledging the next.

Vera Steele: Dorothy did not receive that recognition because Mrs. Claus handed it to her.

A beat.

Vera Steele: She earned it by winning.

The screen fades.

Then next week’s Northern Belles graphic appears.

NEXT WEEK — NORTHERN BELLES

WOMEN’S CONVERGENT CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER

BATTLE ROYAL #3

The crowd reacts.

KC Rogers: The road toward the Women’s Convergent Championship continues with Qualifying Battle Royal Number Three.

The next graphic appears.

Then Dr. Violetta Voss eliminating Lilith.

Vera Steele: Mina Harker against Dr. Violetta Voss. Neither woman reached the final two tonight, but both demonstrated exactly why that singles match matters.

The graphic changes.

LILITH VS GRETEL

The crowd reacts strongly.

KC Rogers: Former three-time Queen of the North Champion Lilith faces Gretel.

Vera Steele: And Lilith enters that match after an extraordinary week. She lost the Queen of the North Championship to Polly Mason in Halifax and was eliminated by Dr. Violetta Voss tonight. How she responds matters.

The next graphic appears.

HELLFROST VS GRIMM SISTERS

EMBERLYN BLACK & VELORA SYNN VS GLINT GRIMM & SHADE GRIMM

Vera Steele: And Glint Grimm enters that match after one of the strongest closing performances we have seen in either Convergent Battle Royal.

The crowd rises.

Polly Mason fills one side of the screen.

Rosalyn, Queen of Thorns appears opposite her.

QUEEN OF THE NORTH CHAMPION POLLY MASON VS ROSALYN, QUEEN OF THORNS

NON-TITLE MATCH

KC Rogers: And the new Queen of the North Champion competes on Northern Belles for the first time since winning the championship.

A strong cheer rolls through the Coliseum.

KC Rogers: Polly Mason faces Rosalyn, Queen of Thorns, in a non-title match.

Vera Steele: Which means Rosalyn cannot win the championship next week.

A beat.

Vera Steele: But if she pins the champion, she changes the conversation around who deserves to challenge for it.

The complete Northern Belles card remains briefly on the screen.

Then KC Rogers looks toward another monitor.

KC Rogers: And Northern Belles competitors will also be extremely active across NPCW during the next seven days.

A dark medieval graphic appears.

DARK FABLE 034

SEPTEMBER 18

Then Hilda Stormhoof and Brynja Northbell.

KC Rogers: On Polar Power, Wicked Witch and Morrigan face Hilda Stormhoof and Brynja Northbell.

Vera Steele: Northern Freight went thirty minutes tonight in its debut. Six days later, it gets two of the most dangerous women associated with the Coven.

One final championship graphic appears.

The Aurora Championship rotates across the screen.

AURORA CHAMPIONSHIP

VALKA VS URSA TITANIA

I WANT IT.

AND I WILL TAKE IT.

Then tonight’s Battle Royal footage shows Pearl eliminating Ursa.

The image returns to the champion.

Valka stands with the Aurora Championship.

Vera Steele: Ursa Titania has spent weeks telling Valka exactly what she intends to take.

A pause.

Vera Steele: On Saturday, there are no more declarations.

The title fills the screen.

Vera Steele: She has to take it.

The graphic fades.

The camera returns to the commentary desk.

KC Rogers: Battle Royal Number Three.

Vera Steele: Mina Harker against Dr. Violetta Voss.

Vera Steele: The future still has to prove itself every week.

A beat.

Vera Steele: Tonight, Dorothy did.

The Northern Belles logo begins forming across the screen in icy gold and steel.

KC Rogers: For Vera Steele, Celeste Orion, Alexandra Jones, and everyone here at Scrooge’s Camelot Coliseum, I am KC Rogers.

A final roar rises from the crowd.

KC Rogers: Good night from Northern Belles.

The logo fills the screen.

NORTHERN BELLES
